Proper use
The power bank is an electronic device used for
charging devices which are generally charged
via a USB port, such as MP3 players, mobile
phones and similar devices.
The power bank is only intended for private use.
Using the power bank for commercial or industrial purposes is therefore prohibited.
Please note that we shall not be liable in cases
of improper use:

This chapter contains important safety instructions for handling the device. This device
complies with the required safety regulations.
Improper use or modifying the device may lead
to personal injury and property damage. In this
case, the user bears sole responsibility.
General safety instructions

This device may be used by children over

those without experience and knowledge, if
they are supervised or have been instructed
in the safe use of the device and have understood the dangers that result from it.
Children must not be allowed to play with
the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not
be carried out by children unless they are
supervised.

Keep packaging material such as plastic fi lm
or plastic bags away from children.

Operating safety
ATTENTION! Risk of damage!
Unfavourable environmental conditions or
improper use can damage the device.
Do not use the power bank if the housing,
supply lead or adapters are visibly damaged.
If you discover any transport damage, con-
tact the Service Centre immediately.
Never expose the device to rain, moisture,
water drops or spray! Only operate the power bank in dry rooms.
To avoid malfunction, do not expose the
device to extreme conditions. Avoid:
− High humidity or wet conditions
− Extremely high or low temperatures
− Direct sunlight
− Open fl ames
− Jolting or knocking the device
− Dusty places

Operate and store the power bank in a dry
location at a temperature of between +10°
and 35°C.
Do not store the power bank in your car, as
it will reach temperatures well above 50°C
in the sun.
Never immerse the power bank in liquids. Do not open the housing of the power bank. Always hold the power bank itself fi rmly
when removing a plug. Always hold the
plug housing; never pull on the cable.
Do not modify the power bank without our
consent and do not use any auxiliary equip-
ment that we have not approved or supplied.
Carefully follow the operating instructions for
the respective charger.
In order to avoid any damage to the power
bank, ensure that the USB plug is correctly
aligned when inserting it. Due to its asym-
metrical form, the plug will only fi t into the
socket in one position.
After transporting the power bank, wait
until it has reached room temperature
before switching it on. Major fl uctuations in
temperature or humidity can, as a result of
condensation, lead to a build-up of moisture
which could cause an electrical short-circuit.
To prevent the power bank from overheat-
ing, do not cover it.

Only use the supplied charging cable
to
charge or discharge the device.

Remove the charging cable from the device
after each charging and discharging process.
Immediately disconnect all connected cables
from the power bank in the event of smoke
or unusual noises. Do not operate the power
bank again until it has been checked by a
qualifi ed technician.

Risk of explosion if you operate the device in
potentially explosive atmospheres!
Do not use the device in potentially ex-
plosive atmospheres. This includes petrol
stations, fuel storage areas or areas where
solvents are processed. This device must also
not be used in areas with particle-laden air
(for example fl our or wood dust).
Handling the power bank
The power bank contains a lithium-ion battery.
Observe the following instructions for handling
lithium-ion batteries:

Risk of chemical burns from leaking battery fl uid.
Do not disassemble, open or deform the power
bank. You could injure your hands or fi ngers
or battery fl uid could get into your eyes or onto
your skin. If you do come into contact with
the fl uid, rinse the affected area with plenty of
water and contact your doctor immediately.

Improper use can damage the device.
Charge the battery regularly and as com-
pletely as possible. Do not leave the battery
discharged for a long period of time.
Keep the battery away from heat sources
such as radiators as well as open fl ames
such as candles. Risk of explosion!
Do not throw the device into a fi re. If the device can only be switched on when
it is supplied with power, please contact the
Service Centre.
Do not use chargers that are damaged in
any way.
Do not leave the battery in hot or cold
places, such as cars in summer or winter.
Extreme temperatures impair the battery’s
charging capacity.

Charging the power bank
The power bank can be charged with a PC or a
mains adapter by using the supplied USB cable.
Fully charge the power bank before using it.
ATTENTION! Risk of damage!
Only charge the power bank on USB 3.0
ports (marked in blue), USB ports with a
minimum output current of 1 A, or with a
mains adapter with an output voltage of 5 V
and an output current of 2.1 A.

USB 2.0 ports may not provide suffi cient
power to charge the power bank.
Note that it takes considerably longer to
charge the power bank with a PC.

charge level of the internal battery as follows:

Cleaning
In general, the device does not require cleaning. The device does not contain any parts that
require cleaning or maintenance.
ATTENTION! Risk of damage!
Make sure that the device is kept clean. Do not let the device come into contact with
water or other liquids.
Do not use solvents, corrosive or gaseous
cleaning agents.
If necessary, the housing can be wiped
down with a slightly damp cloth.
Storing the device when
not in use
Fully charge the power bank battery to
prolong its service life if the power bank is
going to be out of use and in storage for
longer periods of time.
Store the device in a dry, dust-free location
without direct sunlight.

If the power bank malfunctions, check whether
you can solve the problem yourself by using the
following overview.
Never try to repair the power bank yourself.
If repairs are required, contact our Service
Centre or another suitable professional
repair workshop.

Dear customer,
The warranty on this product is 3 years from
the date of purchase. In the event of defects in
this product, you have legal rights against the
product vendor. These legal rights are in no way
limited by the warranty described below.
Conditions of warranty
The warranty period begins on the date of
purchase. Please take care to keep the original
purchase receipt. This document will serve as a
proof of purchase.
If, within three years of the date of purchase of
this product, any defect in material or manufacture
should become evident, the product will – as we
choose – be repaired free of charge or replaced.
This warranty is subject to presentation, within the
three-year term, of the defective product and the
proof of purchase (receipt) and a brief, written

description of what constitutes the defect and when
it became evident.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, you
will receive back the repaired product or a new
replacement. Repair or exchange of the product
does not lead to a renewed warranty period.
Warranty period and legal claims
for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by the
above fulfilment. This also applies for replaced
and repaired parts. Any damage or defects
present at the time of purchase must be notified
immediately after unpacking. Repairs that are
carried out after the expiration of the warranty
period are subject to a charge.
Scope of warranty
The product is manufactured in accordance with
strict quality guidelines and thoroughly tested
before dispatch.
The warranty applies for defects in materials or
manufacture. This warranty does not extend to
product parts that are subject to normal wear
and can therefore be regarded as wearing parts
or to damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches,
batteries or parts made of glass.
This warranty is void if the product has been
damaged or not properly used or serviced. For
proper use of the product, exact compliance
with all instructions listed in the user manual is

required. It is essential to avoid procedures and
use for purposes against which the user manual
advises or warns.
The product is intended for private use only and
not for industrial/commercial use. Improper
handling and usage not in accordance with
the intended purpose, use of force and any
interventions that are not carried out by our
authorised service centre will render the
warranty null and void.
Processing of warranty claims
For speedy processing of your request, please
observe the following instructions:
• For all enquiries, please keep the receipt
and the article number (e.g. IAN 12345) to
hand as proof of purchase.
• The article number is to be found on the
type plate, an engraving, on the title page
of your instructions (bottom left) or on an
adhesive label on the rear or underside.
• If functional or other defects occur, fi rst
