Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungs­gemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Lieferumfang

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

HINWEIS

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).

Auspacken

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem

Karton.

♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

WARNUNG! ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen von Kindern verwendet

werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs­materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichts­punkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpa­ckungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

HINWEIS

► Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garan-

tiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß
verpacken zu können.

Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien
und trennen Sie diese gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien
sind gekennzeichnet mit Abkürzungen (b) und Ziffern (a) mit folgender Bedeu­tung:

Sicherheitshinweise

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig in-

stallierte Netzsteckdose mit einer der auf dem Typenschild
entsprechenden Netzspannung an.

► Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen

und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen las­sen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und
nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das
Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker
des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät

reinigen den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen Sie

nicht am Kabel selbst.

► Wickeln Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät

und schützen Sie sie vor Beschädigungen.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort

von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Knicken oder quetschen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht

und verlegen Sie sie so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.

► Sie dürfen kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzanschlussleitung und -stecker nie mit

nassen Händen an.

► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom

Stromnetz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netz­steckdose ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht öffnen oder reparieren.

In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und die Ge­währleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät nur von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass

oder feucht wird.
Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt
werden kann.

► Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von

Wasser, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von
Waschbecken, Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die
Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das
Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Ziehen Sie daher nach jedem
Gebrauch den Netzstecker. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird
Ihnen die Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit
einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA
im Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren
Elektroinstallateur um Rat.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber

und von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/
oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen
wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden
haben.

► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder

durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Legen Sie das Gerät niemals im eingeschalteten Zustand

ohne Ausklappen des Standfußes ab.

► Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen

und schützen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung vor Beschädigun­gen.

► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen

Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät
von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenen­falls reparieren.

► Die Geräteteile können im Betrieb heiß werden. Fassen Sie

daher nur den Handgriff und den Schalter an.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Frisieren Sie niemals Perücken oder Haarteile aus syntheti-

schem Material. Diese können durch die Hitze beschädigt
werden!

► Frisieren Sie nur menschliche Haare. Benutzen Sie das Gerät

nicht bei Tieren.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme

♦ Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass

– das Gerät in einwandfreiem Zustand ist,
– alle Verpackungsmaterialien entfernt sind.

♦ Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab und trocknen Sie es ab.

HINWEIS - SICHERHEITS-ABSCHALTUNG

Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Sicherheits-Abschaltung ausgestattet.
Nach ca. 30 Minuten ohne Betätigung des Ein-/Aus-Schalters q schaltet

sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Nach ca. 25 Minuten beginnt das Dis­play 6zu blinken, um Sie an die automatische Abschaltung zu erinnern.
Danach erscheint die Meldung „OFF“.

Die Sicherheits-Abschaltung ersetzt nicht das manuelle Ausschalten mit
dem Ein-/Aus-Schalter q! Sie dient nur Ihrer Sicherheit, falls das Abschal­ten vergessen wird!

Vor dem Frisieren

■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-

nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Curlen des Haares unterstützen.

■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Frisieren gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten

im Haar befinden.

■ Teilen Sie das Haar in handhabbare Partien ein und befestigen Sie die obe-

ren Partien mit Klammern auf dem Kopf, damit sie nicht im Weg sind.

Bedienen

Ein-/Ausschalten

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
♦ Schieben Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter q in die Position ON. Die Temperatur-

angabe im Display 6beginnt zu blinken. Das Gerät ist voreingestellt auf
185°C und beginnt mit dem Aufheizvorgang. Sobald die Temperaturanga­be im Display 6dauerhaft leuchtet, ist der Heizstab 1 aufgeheizt.

♦ Wenn Sie mit dem Styling der Haare fertig sind, schieben Sie den Ein-/Aus-

Schalter q in die Position OFF und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

Temperatur einstellen

Sie können in 10°C-Schritten zwischen einer Temperatur von 120 und 180°C
oder in einem weiteren 5°C-Schritt die Höchsttemperatur von 185°C wählen.
So stellen Sie die Temperatur des Heizstabes 1ein:

■ Drücken Sie die „+“-Taste 8, um die Temperatur zu erhöhen.

Drücken und halten Sie die „+“-Taste 8, um auf die Höchsttemperatur von
185°C zu springen.

■ Drücken Sie die „–“-Taste 9, um die Temperatur zu verringern.

Drücken und halten Sie die „–“-Taste 9, um auf die Mindesttemperatur von
120°C zu springen.

HINWEIS

► Für dickes und kräftiges Haar wählen Sie eine eher hohe Temperatur.
► Für feines und dünnes Haar wählen Sie eher eine niedrigere Temperatur.
► Wenn Sie sich unsicher sind, beginnen Sie immer mit einer niedrigeren

Temperatur und steigern Sie diese so lange, bis Sie die ideale Temperatur
gefunden haben.

Stylen

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Seien sie vorsichtig im Umgang mit dem aufgeheizten Lockenstab. Berühren

Sie nicht die Kopfhaut oder andere Körperstellen mit dem heißen Heiz­stab1! Das führt zu Verbrennungen!

Wenn das Gerät aufgeheizt ist:

♦ Klemmen Sie die Spitze der Haarsträhne mit Hilfe des Haarclips 2 am

unteren Ende des Heizstabes 1 fest (Abb.1).

♦ Rollen Sie dann den Heizstab 1 so in das Haar ein, dass sich die Haare um

den Heizstab 1und um den Haarclip 2 legen.
Nutzen Sie dazu die Rotationsfunktion:

– Drücken Sie die linke Pfeiltaste 4, um die Haarsträhne mit dem Uhr-

zeigersinn oder rechte Pfeiltaste 4, um sie gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
aufzuwickeln.

HINWEIS

► Achten Sie darauf, den Heizstab 1in Richtung der Haarspitzen rotieren

zu lassen, um gekräuselte Haarenden zu vermeiden.

♦ Warten Sie ca. 5-12 Sekunden in dieser Position ab, nutzen Sie dazu den

Timer:

– Drücken Sie die

Sekunden angezeigt.

– Drücken Sie die Tasten „+“ 8oder „–“ 9, um die Zeit anzupassen. Sie

haben die Wahl zwischen 5, 8 und 12 Sekunden.

– Nach Ablauf der eingestellen Sekunden ertönen drei Signaltöne.

HINWEIS

► Dickes und/oder langes Haar braucht für gewöhnlich etwas länger als

kurzes und/oder dünnes Haar.

► Wenn Sie sich unsicher sind, beginnen Sie immer mit einer niedrigeren

Zeitspanne und steigern Sie diese so lange, bis Sie die ideale Zeitspanne
gefunden haben.

♦ Wickeln Sie den Heizstab1 aus der Haarsträhne heraus und lösen Sie den

Haarclip 2.

♦ Verfahren Sie mit den übrigen Strähnen genauso.
♦ Lassen Sie die Locken auskühlen, bevor Sie sie frisieren.

-Taste 7. Es wird standardmäßig eine Zeit von 5

HINWEIS

► Durch Drücken der Taste „RESET“ 5fährt das Gerät aus jeder Position

heraus gegen den Uhrzeigersinn in den Ausgangszustand zurück, so dass
der Haarclip2 wieder nach oben zeigt.

► Wenn Sie das Gerät zwischendurch ablegen wollen, nutzen Sie den Stand-

fuß 3 an der Unterseite des Gerätes!

Reinigen und Pflegen

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdo-

se. Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung abkühlen. Verbrennungsgefahr!

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven, chemischen oder scheuernden Reini-

gungsmittel! Diese können die Oberfläche des Gerätes angreifen.

■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch.

■ Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der erneuten Benutzung oder vor dem Verstauen

vollständig trocknen.

Aufbewahren

■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse 0 aufhängen.

■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.

Gerät entsorgen

erfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über
Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.

Garantie der Kompernaß Handels GmbH

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von

Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetz­liche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden
dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original–
Kassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material­oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für
Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon)
vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und
wann er aufgetreten ist.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte
oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile, die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwen­dung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Abwicklung im Garantiefall

Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung Ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie bitte
den folgenden Hinweisen:

■ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer (z. B.

IAN 12345) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.

■ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild, einer Gravur, auf

dem Titelblatt Ihrer Anleitung (unten links) oder als Aufkleber auf der Rück­oder Unterseite.

■ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten, kontaktieren Sie zunächst

die nachfolgend benannte Serviceabteilung telefonisch oder per E-Mail.

■ Ein als defekt erfasstes Produkt können Sie dann unter Beifügung des Kauf-

belegs (Kassenbon) und der Angabe, worin der Mangel besteht und wann
er aufgetreten ist, für Sie portofrei an die Ihnen mitgeteilte Serviceanschrift
übersenden.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The pack­aging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Safety instructions

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Connect this appliance only to a properly installed wall

power socket that supplies the mains voltage specified on
the rating plate.

► Under no circumstances should the appliance be submersed

in liquids or liquids be allowed to penetrate the housing.
Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it
outdoors. If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the
appliance from the mains power socket immediately and
have it repaired by a qualified technician.

► In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the

appliance, remove the plug from the mains power socket.

► To disconnect the appliance, pull only on the plug itself, not

on the power cable.

► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and

protect the cable from being damaged.

► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be

replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.

► Do not kink or crush the power cable and route it in such

a way as to prevent people from stepping on it or tripping
over it.

► Do not use extension cables.
► Never hold the appliance, the power cable or the power

plug with wet hands.

► Disconnect the appliance from the mains power source

immediately after use. The appliance is completely free of
electrical power only when unplugged.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Do not open the appliance housing or attempt to repair the

appliance yourself. This can lead to risks and also invalidates
the warranty. Defective appliances should be repaired by
authorised specialists only.

► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or damp

during use.
Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or
damaged.

► Never use the appliance near water, especially in

vicinity of sinks, baths or other similar containers.
The proximity of water is hazardous, even if the appliance
is switched off. Always disconnect the plug from the mains
power socket after use. For additional protection, we
recommend that you install a residual current circuit breaker
with an activation power rating of no more than 30 mA for
the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for
advice.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or more

and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they
are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe use of
the appliance and have understood the potential risks.

► Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed

by children unless they are under supervision.

► Never put down the appliance when it is switched on unless

the stand is folded out.

► Never leave a switched-on appliance unsupervised.
► Never place the appliance close to sources of heat, and

protect the power cable against potential damage.

damaged in any way. Have the appliance checked and/or
repaired by qualified technicians if necessary.

► The appliance components can get hot during operation.

Therefore, only touch the handle and the switch.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► NEVER use the appliance to style hair pieces or wigs made

of synthetic material. These can be damaged by the heat!

► Style only human hair. Do not use the appliance on animals.

Before use

♦ Before you use the appliance, ensure that ...

– the appliance is in working order,
– all packaging materials have been removed.

♦ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and then dry it well.

NOTE – SAFETY SWITCH-OFF

This appliance is fitted with a safety switch-off.
If the On/Off switch q is not used for approx. 30 minutes, the appliance

switches itself off automatically. After approx. 25 minutes, the display 6
starts to flash to remind you the appliance about to switch off automatically.
Then, the message "OFF" appears.

The safety switch-off is not an alternative to using the On/Off switch q
manually! It is only for your safety, in the event that you forget to switch the
appliance off!

Before styling

■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. Special products

which facilitate curling of the hair may be used.

■ Comb the hair thoroughly before styling so that there are no knots in it.

■ Divide the hair into manageable portions and pin the upper portions to the

head with grips so that they do not get in the way.

Operation

Switching on/off

♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
♦ Push the On/Off switch q to the ON position. The temperature on the

display 6 starts to flash. The appliance is preset to 185°C and starts to
preheat. When the temperature on the display 6 lights up permanently,
the heating element 1 has heated up.

♦ When you have finished styling your hair, push the On/Off switch q to

the OFF position and disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.

Setting the temperature

You can adjust the temperature in 10°C steps to a temperature between 120
and 180°C or in a further 5°C step to the maximum temperature of 185°C.
Adjust the temperature of the heating element 1 as follows:

■ Press the “+” button 8 to increase the temperature.

Press and hold down the “+” button 8 to jump to the maximum temperature
of 185°C.

■ Press the “–” button 9 button to reduce the temperature.

Press and hold down the “–” button 9 to jump to the minimum temperature
of 120°C.

NOTE

► Select a high temperature for thick and strong hair.
► Select a lower temperature for fine and thin hair.
► If you are unsure, start with a lower temperature and increase the tempera-

ture until you find the ideal temperature for you.

Styling

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Take care when handling the heated curling iron. Do not touch your scalp

or other parts of your body with the hot heating element 1! This could
cause burns!

Once the appliance has heated-up:

♦ Clamp the tip of the hair strand firmly onto the lower end of the heating

element 1 using the hair clip 2 (fig. 1).

♦ Then roll the heating element 1 into the hair so that the strand is wrapped

around the heating element 1 and the hair clip 2.
To do this, use the rotation function:

– Press the left arrow button 4 to wind the hair in a clockwise direction or

the right arrow button 4 to wind it in an anticlockwise direction.

NOTE

► Make sure that you rotate the heating element 1 in the direction of your

hair ends to prevent frizz.

♦ Wait approx. 5–12 seconds in this position. Use the timer:

– press the
– Press the “+” 8or “–” 9 buttons to adjust the time. You can choose 5,

8 or 12 seconds.

– After the set time has elapsed, you will hear three beeps.

NOTE

► Thick and/or long hair generally requires more time than short and/or fine

hair.

► If you are unsure, start with a lower temperature and a shorter time and

increase them until you find the ideal time period for you.

♦ Unwind the heating element 1 from the hair strand and release the hair

clip 2.

♦ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.
♦ Allow the curls to cool down before you continue styling the hair.

NOTE

► When you press the "RESET" button 5, the appliance rotates anticlockwise

from whatever position it is in to the starting position so that the hair clip 2
is facing upwards again.

► If you want to put down the appliance at any time during use, simply fold

out the stand 3 on the bottom of the appliance.

Cleaning and care

► Before cleaning the appliance, always pull out the plug from the mains

power socket. There is a risk of electric shock!

► Allow the appliance to cool down fully before cleaning it. Risk of burns!

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Do not use any aggressive, abrasive or chemical cleaning agents! These

could damage the upper surfaces of the appliance.

■ Clean the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth.

■ Allow the appliance to dry completely before reuse or before putting it

away.

Storage

■ You can also hang up the appliance by the hanger 0.

■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free location.

Disposal of the appliance

Do not dispose of the appliance in the normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of the European Directive
2012/19/EU

Dispose of the appliance at an approved disposal centre or at your community
waste facility. Please comply with all applicable regulations. Please contact your
waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the begin­ning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

■ Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 12345) available

as proof of purchase.

■ You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front

page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of
the appliance.

■ If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department

listed either by telephone or by e-mail.

■ You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address

that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase

Consignes de sécurité

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► Raccordez l'appareil uniquement à une prise secteur instal-

lée en bonne et due forme avec une des tensions secteur
correspondant à la plaque signalétique.

► Vous ne devez en aucun cas plonger l'appareil dans un

liquide ni laisser pénétrer du liquide dans le boîtier de l'appa­reil. Vous ne devez pas exposer l'appareil à l'humidité ni
l'utiliser à l'extérieur. Si toutefois du liquide venait à pénétrer
dans le boîtier de l'appareil, débranchez immédiatement la
fiche de la prise secteur et confiez l'appareil à un technicien
spécialisé pour le réparer.

► En cas de dysfonctionnements et avant de nettoyer l'appa-

reil, débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise secteur.

► Retirez la fiche secteur de la prise en veillant à ne pas tirer

sur le cordon pour débrancher.

► N'enroulez pas le cordon autour de l'appareil et veillez à le

protéger contre toutes détériorations.

► Faites immédiatement remplacer la fiche secteur ou le cordon

d'alimentation endommagé par des techniciens spécialisés
agréés ou par le service après-vente pour éviter tout risque.

► Veillez à ne pas plier ou écraser le cordon d'alimentation

et acheminez-le de manière à ce que personne ne puisse
trébucher dessus.

► L'utilisation d'une rallonge est interdite.
► Ne saisissez jamais l'appareil, le cordon électrique ou la

fiche secteur avec des mains humides.

► Après utilisation de l'appareil, débranchez-le immédiate-

ment du réseau électrique. L'appareil n'est entièrement hors
tension qu'à partir du moment où la fiche est débranchée de
la prise secteur.

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► N'ouvrez pas le boîtier de l'appareil et ne le réparez pas.

Dans ce cas, la sécurité n'est plus assurée et vous perdez le
bénéfice de la garantie. Confiez la réparation d'un appareil
défectueux uniquement à un technicien spécialisé.

► Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit pas mouillé

ou humide pendant le fonctionnement.
Acheminez-le afin qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.

► N'utilisez jamais l'appareil à proximité d'eau, en

particulier près d'un lavabo, d'une baignoire ou de
conteneurs similaires. La proximité d'eau représente un
danger, même lorsque l'appareil est éteint. Pour cette raison,
débranchez l'appareil après chaque utilisation. À titre de
protection supplémentaire, nous recommandons l'installation
d'un relais disjoncteur contre le courant de fuite avec un seuil
de déclenchement inférieur ou égal à 30mA dans le circuit
électrique de la salle de bains. Demandez conseil à votre
installateur d'équipement électrique.

► Si l'appareil est tombé ou est endommagé, ne le remettez

pas en service. Faites contrôler l'appareil et, le cas échéant,
réparer l'appareil par des techniciens spécialisés et qualifiés.

► Les pièces de l'appareil peuvent devenir très chaudes en

service. Par conséquent, ne touchez que la poignée et l'inter­rupteur.

► Ne coiffez jamais des perruques ou des postiches en matière

synthétique. Ils peuvent en effet être endommagés par la
chaleur!

► Ne coiffez que les cheveux humains. N'utilisez pas l'appareil

Avant la mise en service

♦ Avant de mettre l'appareil en service, assurez-vous que

– l'appareil se trouve dans un état impeccable,
– que tous les emballages ont été enlevés.

♦ Essuyez l'appareil avec un chiffon humide et séchez-le bien.

REMARQUE - COUPURE DE SÉCURITÉ

Cet appareil est doté d'un système de coupure de sécurité.
Au bout d'env. 30 minutes sans avoir actionné l'interrupteur Marche/Arrêt q,

l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement. Au bout de 25 minutes, l'écran 6 se
met à clignoter pour vous rappeler la coupure automatique. Un signal
sonore retentit et l'écran affiche le message "OFF".

La coupure automatique ne remplace pas la coupure manuelle avec l'inter­rupteur Marche/Arrêt q! Elle ne sert qu'à votre sécurité, si vous avez oublié
d'éteindre!

Avant le coiffage

■ Les cheveux doivent être propres, secs et exempts de tout produit de coiffage.

Certains produits spéciaux qui favorisent le bouclage des cheveux peuvent
être utilisés.

■ Peignez soigneusement les cheveux avant de les boucler, afin d'éliminer tout

nœud.

■ Séparez les cheveux en parties maniables et fixez les parties supérieures sur

la tête à l'aide de pinces, afin qu'elles ne vous gênent pas.

Utilisation

Allumer/éteindre

♦ Branchez la fiche secteur dans une prise secteur.
♦ Réglez l'interrupteur Marche/Arrêt q sur la position ON. L'indication de

température à l'écran 6 se met à clignoter. L'appareil est préréglé sur
185 °C et démarre l'opération de chauffage. Dès que l'indication de
température reste allumée à l'écran 6, le fer 1 est chaud.

♦ Dès que vous avez terminé le coiffage des cheveux, glissez l'interrupteur

Marche/Arrêt q en position OFF et débranchez la fiche secteur.

Réglage de la température

Vous pouvez choisir une température comprise entre 120 et 180 °C par pas de
10 °C, ou sélectionner la température maximale de 185 °C avec un autre pas
de 5°C. Pour régler la température du fer 1 :

■ Appuyez sur la touche "+" 8 pour augmenter la température.

Appuyez sur la touche "+" 8 et maintenez-la appuyée pour passer à la
température maximale de 185 °C.

■ Appuyez sur la touche "-" 9 pour baisser la température.

Appuyez sur la touche "-" 9 et maintenez-la appuyée pour passer à la
température minimale de 120°C.

REMARQUE

► Pour des cheveux épais et vigoureux, sélectionnez une température plutôt

élevée.

► Pour des cheveux fins, sélectionnez une température plutôt basse.
► En cas de doute, commencez toujours par une température plus basse et

augmentez-la jusqu'à ce que vous trouviez la température idéale.

Coiffage

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURES!

► Faites attention en manipulant le fer à boucler chauffé. Ne touchez pas le

cuir chevelu ou d'autres parties du corps avec le fer 1 chaud! Il y a un

risque de brûlures!

Lorsque l'appareil est chaud:

♦ Fixez la pointe de la mèche à l'aide de la pince à cheveux 2 au niveau de

l'extrémité inférieure du fer 1 (fig. 1).

♦ Enroulez ensuite le fer 1 dans les cheveux de manière à ce que les cheveux

se placent autour du fer 1 et de la pince à cheveux 2.
Utilisez pour cela la fonction rotation :

– Appuyez sur la touche fléchée gauche 4 pour enrouler les mèches de

cheveux dans le sens horaire ou la touche fléchée droite 4 pour les
enrouler dans le sens antihoraire.

REMARQUE

► Veillez à tourner le fer 1 en direction des pointes de cheveux, pour éviter

les pointes de cheveux crépues.

♦ Patientez env. 5-12 secondes dans cette position, utilisez pour cela la

minuterie :

– Appuyez sur la touche 7

– Appuyez sur les touches "+" 8ou "-" 9, pour régler le temps.

Vous avez le choix entre 5, 8 et 12 secondes.

– Une fois les secondes réglées écoulées, trois signaux sonores reten-

tissent.

REMARQUE

► Les cheveux épais et/ou longs ont besoin d'un peu plus longtemps que les

cheveux courts et/ou fins.

► En cas de doute, commencez toujours par une durée plus courte et aug-

mentez-la jusqu'à ce que vous trouviez la durée idéale.

♦ Déroulez le fer 1 de la mèche de cheveux et desserrez la pince à cheveux 2.
♦ Procédez de la même manière avec les autres mèches.
♦ Laissez refroidir les boucles avant de les coiffer.

Vos droits légaux ne sont pas restreints par notre garantie présentée ci-dessous.

Conditions de garantie

La période de garantie débute à la date de l’achat. Veuillez bien conserver le
ticket de caisse d’origine. Ce document servira de preuve d’achat.

Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d’achat de ce produit, un vice de
matériel ou de fabrication venait à apparaître, le produit sera réparé ou remplacé
gratuitement par nos soins, selon notre choix. Cette prestation de garantie néces­site dans un délai de trois ans la présentation de l’appareil défectueux et du
justificatif d’achat (ticket de caisse) ainsi que la description brève du vice et du
moment de son apparition.

Si le vice est couvert par notre garantie, vous recevrez le produit réparé ou un
nouveau produit en retour. Aucune nouvelle période de garantie ne débute avec
la réparation ou l’échange du produit.

Période de garantie et réclamation légale pour vices cachés

L’exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie. Cette disposition
s’applique également aux pièces remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages et
vices éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent être signalés immédiatement
après le déballage. Toute réparation survenant après la période sous garantie
fera l’objet d’une facturation.

Étendue de la garantie

L’appareil a été fabriqué avec soin conformément à des directives de qualité
strictes et consciencieusement contrôlé avant sa livraison.

La prestation de garantie est valable pour des vices de matériel et de fabrication.
Cette garantie ne s’étend pas aux pièces du produit qui sont exposées à une usure
normale et peuvent de ce fait être considérées comme pièces d’usure, ni aux dété­riorations de pièces fragiles, par ex. connecteur, accu, moules ou pièces en verre.

Cette garantie devient caduque si le produit est détérioré, utilisé ou entretenu de
manière non conforme. Toutes les instructions listées dans le manuel d’utilisation

Inhoud van het pakket

OPMERKING

► Controleer of het pakket compleet is en of er geen zichtbare schade is.
► Neem contact op met de service-hotline (zie het hoofdstuk Service) als het

Uitpakken

♦ Haal alle onderdelen van het apparaat en de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de

doos.

♦ Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.

WAARSCHUWING! VERSTIKKINGSGEVAAR!

► Kinderen mogen het verpakkingsmateriaal niet als speelgoed gebruiken.

Er bestaat verstikkingsgevaar.

De verpakking afvoeren

De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkings­materialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu. Ze zijn gekozen op grond van
milieuvriendelijkheid en daarom recyclebaar.

Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop betekent een
besparing op grondstoffen en zorgt voor minder afval. Voer niet meer benodigde
verpakkingsmaterialen af conform de plaatselijk geldende voorschriften.

OPMERKING

► Bewaar zo mogelijk de originele verpakking gedurende de garantieperi-

ode van het apparaat, om het apparaat in geval van een garantiekwestie
volgens de voorschriften te kunnen verpakken.

Let op de aanduiding op de verschillende verpakkingsmaterialen en voer ze zo
nodig gescheiden af. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn voorzien van afkortingen (b)

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

GEVAAR VOOR EEN ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK

► Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een stopcontact dat volgens

de voorschriften is geïnstalleerd, met een netspanning die
overeenkomt met de gegevens op het typeplaatje.

► Dompel het apparaat in geen geval onder in een vloeistof

en laat geen vloeistoffen in de apparaatbehuizing binnen­dringen. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan vocht en gebruik
het niet in de openlucht. Mocht er toch vloeistof in de be­huizing van het apparaat komen, haal dan direct de stekker
van het apparaat uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat
door een gekwalificeerd vakman repareren.

► Haal bij storing van het apparaat en voordat u het apparaat

schoonmaakt de stekker uit het stopcontact.

► Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact, trek niet aan het snoer

zelf.

► Wikkel het snoer niet om het apparaat en bescherm het

tegen beschadiging.

► Laat beschadigde stekkers en snoeren onmiddellijk door

een erkend vakman of door de klantenservice vervangen,
om risico's te voorkomen.

► Knik of plet het netsnoer niet en leg het zo dat niemand erop

kan gaan staan of erover kan struikelen.

► Gebruik geen verlengsnoer.
► Pak apparaat, snoer en stekker nooit met natte handen vast.
► Koppel het apparaat meteen na gebruik los van het lichtnet.

Alleen wanneer u de stekker uit het stopcontact haalt, is het
apparaat helemaal spanningsloos.

GEVAAR VOOR EEN ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK

► Open of repareer de behuizing van het apparaat nooit. In

dat geval is de veiligheid niet gegarandeerd en vervalt de
garantie. Laat een defect apparaat alleen door een erkend
vakman repareren.

► Let erop dat het snoer niet nat of vochtig wordt tijdens het

gebruik van het apparaat.
Leg het snoer zodanig, dat het niet bekneld of beschadigd
kan raken.

► Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van water, met

name niet in de buurt van een wasbak, badkuip of
vergelijkbare bassins. De nabijheid van water vormt een
gevaar, ook als het apparaat is uitgeschakeld. Haal daarom
na elk gebruik de stekker uit het stopcontact. Als extra
beveiliging raden we aan een aardlekschakelaar met een
nominale uitschakelstroom van niet meer dan 30 mA in het
stroomcircuit van de badkamer te installeren. Vraag uw
elektricien om advies.

WAARSCHUWING! LETSELGEVAAR!

► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf

8 jaar en door personen met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of
geestelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring en/of kennis,
mits ze onder toezicht staan of over het veilige gebruik van
het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit voortkomende
gevaren hebben begrepen.

► Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.
► Reiniging en gebruikersonderhoud mogen niet door kinderen

worden uitgevoerd, tenzij ze onder supervisie staan.

WAARSCHUWING! LETSELGEVAAR!

► Leg het apparaat nooit in ingeschakelde toestand weg

zonder de standaard uit te klappen.

► Laat het ingeschakelde apparaat nooit onbeheerd.
► Leg het apparaat nooit in de buurt van warmtebronnen en

bescherm het snoer tegen beschadigingen.

► Als het apparaat gevallen of beschadigd is, mag u het niet

meer gebruiken. Laat het apparaat door een erkend vakman
nakijken en indien nodig repareren.

► De onderdelen van het apparaat kunnen tijdens gebruik

heet worden. Raak het apparaat daarom alleen bij de
handgreep en de knop aan.

LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!

► Style nooit pruiken of haarstukjes van synthetisch materiaal.

Deze kunnen door de hitte beschadigd raken!

► Style alleen menselijk haar. Gebruik het apparaat niet voor

verzorging van dieren.

Vóór de ingebruikname

♦ Voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt, dient u zich ervan te vergewissen

dat ...

– het apparaat zich in onberispelijke toestand bevindt;
– alle verpakkingsmateriaal verwijderd is.

♦ Veeg het apparaat af met een vochtige doek en droog het af.

OPMERKING - VEILIGHEIDSUITSCHAKELING

Dit apparaat is voorzien van een veiligheidsuitschakeling.
Na ca. 30 minuten zonder bediening van de aan-/uitknop q wordt

het apparaat automatisch uitgeschakeld. Na ca. 25 minuten begint het
indicatielampje 6 te knipperen om u te herinneren aan de automatische
uitschakeling. Op het display verschijnt de melding “OFF”.

De veiligheidsuitschakeling is niet bedoeld als vervanging van handmatige
uitschakeling met de aan-/uitknop q! De veiligheidsuitschakeling dient
uitsluitend voor uw veiligheid, voor het geval dat u vergeten bent het appa­raat uit te schakelen!

Vóór het stylen

■ Het haar moet schoon en droog zijn en vrij van stylingproducten. Uitgezon-

derd zijn speciale producten die het krullen van het haar ondersteunen.

■ Kam het haar grondig voordat u het stylet, zodat zich geen knopen in het

haar bevinden.

■ Verdeel het haar in hanteerbare lokken en zet de bovenste lokken met haar-

spelden vast, zodat ze niet in de weg zitten.

Bediening

In-/uitschakelen

♦ Steek de stekker in een stopcontact.
♦ Zet de aan-/uitknop q op de stand ON. Op de display begint de tempera-

tuurindicatie 6 te knipperen. Het apparaat is standaard ingesteld op 185°C
en begint op te warmen. Wanneer de temperatuurindicatie in de display 6
continu brandt, is de verwarmingsstaaf 1 heet genoeg.

♦ Wanneer u klaar bent met het stylen van het haar, zet u de aan-/uitknop q

op de stand OFF en haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact.

Temperatuur instellen

U kunt in stappen van 10°C de temperatuur instellen van 120 tot 180°C en
met een laatste stap van 5°C de maximumtemperatuur van 185°C instellen.
Zo stelt u de temperatuur van de verwarmingsstaaf 1in:

■ Druk op de “+”-knop 8 om de temperatuur te verhogen.

Houd de “+”-knop 8 ingedrukt om naar de maximumtemperatuur van
185°C te springen.

■ Druk op de “-”-knop 9 om de temperatuur te verlagen.

Houd de “-”-knop 9 ingedrukt om naar de minimumtemperatuur van
120°C te springen.

OPMERKING

► Kies voor bijzonder dik en krachtig haar een hogere temperatuur.
► Kies voor dun en fijn haar een lagere temperatuur.
► Begin, als u twijfelt aan de juiste temperatuur, altijd met een lagere

temperatuur en verhoog die net zo lang tot u de ideale temperatuur
hebt gevonden.

WAARSCHUWING! LETSELGEVAAR!

► Ga voorzichtig om met de hete krultang. Raak de hoofdhuid of andere

lichaamsdelen niet aan met de hete verwarmingsstaaf 1! Dit veroorzaakt
brandwonden!

Als het apparaat opgewarmd is:

♦ Klem de punt van de haarstreng met behulp van de haarclip 2 vast op het

onderste uiteinde van de verwarmingsstaaf 1 (afb. 1).

♦ Rol dan de verwarmingsstaaf 1 in het haar, zodat de haren om de verwar-

mingsstaaf 1 en om de haarclip 2 liggen.
Gebruik daartoe de rotatiefunctie:

– Druk op de linkerpijlknop 4 om de haarstreng rechtsom op te wikkelen of

druk op de rechterpijlknop 4 om de haarstreng linksom op te wikkelen.

OPMERKING

► Zorg ervoor dat de verwarmingsstaaf 1 in de richting van de haarpunten

roteert, om gekrulde haarpunten te voorkomen.

♦ Wacht ongeveer 5 tot 12 seconden in deze positie; gebruik daartoe de

timer:

– Druk op de

weergegeven.

– Druk op de knoppen “+” 8of “–” 9 om de tijd aan te passen.

U kunt kiezen uit 5, 8 en 12 seconden.

– Na afloop van de ingestelde seconden hoort u drie geluidssignalen.

OPMERKING

► Dik en/of lang haar stylen neemt meestal iets meer tijd in beslag dan het

stylen van kort en/of dun haar.

► Begin, als u twijfelt aan de juiste tijdsduur, altijd met een korte tijdsduur en

verhoog die net zo lang tot u de ideale tijdsduur hebt gevonden.

♦ Wikkel de verwarmingsstaaf 1 uit de haarlok en maak de haarclip 2 los.
♦ Ga met de andere lokken op dezelfde manier te werk.
♦ Laat de lokken afkoelen voordat u deze kapt.

OPMERKING

► Als u op de RESET-knop 5 drukt, beweegt het apparaat linksom vanuit

elke positie terug in de uitgangspositie, zodat de haarclip 2 weer naar

Geachte klant,
U hebt op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de aankoopdatum. In geval van

ge breken in dit product hebt u wettelijke rechten tegenover de verkoper van het
product. Deze wettelijke rechten worden door onze hierna beschreven garantie
niet beperkt.

Garantievoorwaarden

De garantieperiode geldt vanaf de datum van aankoop. Bewaar de originele
kassabon. U hebt de bon nodig als bewijs van aankoop.

Als er binnen drie jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum van dit product een materiaal- of
fabricagefout optreedt, wordt het product door ons – naar onze keuze – voor
u kosteloos gerepareerd of vervangen. Voorwaarde voor deze garantie is dat
binnen de termijn van drie jaar het defecte apparaat en het aankoopbewijs
(kassabon) worden overlegd en dat kort wordt omschreven waaruit het gebrek
bestaat en wanneer het is opgetreden.

Wanneer het defect door onze garantie wordt gedekt, krijgt u het gerepareerde
product of een nieuw product retour. Met de reparatie of vervanging van het
product begint er geen nieuwe garantieperiode.

Garantieperiode en wettelijke aanspraken bij gebreken

De garantieperiode wordt door deze waarborg niet verlengd. Dat geldt ook voor
vervangen en gerepareerde onderdelen. Eventueel al bij aankoop aanwezige
schade en gebreken moeten meteen na het uitpakken worden gemeld. Voor repa­raties na afloop van de garantieperiode worden kosten in rekening gebracht.

Garantieomvang

Het apparaat is op basis van strenge kwaliteitsnormen met de grootst mogelijke
zorg vervaardigd en voorafgaand aan de levering nauwkeurig gecontroleerd.

De garantie geldt voor materiaal- of fabricagefouten. Deze garantie geldt niet voor
productonderdelen die blootstaan aan normale slijtage en derhalve als aan
slijtage onderhevige onderdelen kunnen worden aangemerkt, of voor bescha­digingen aan breekbare onderdelen, bijv. schakelaars, accu’s, bakvormen of
onderdelen die van glas zijn gemaakt.

Deze garantie vervalt wanneer het product is beschadigd, ondeskundig is ge­bruikt of is gerepareerd. Voor deskundig gebruik van het product moeten alle
in de gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven aanwijzingen precies worden opgevolgd.
Gebruiksdoeleinden en handelingen die in de gebruiksaanwijzing worden afge­raden of waarvoor wordt gewaarschuwd, moeten beslist worden vermeden.

Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor privégebruik en niet voor bedrijfsmatige
doeleinden. Bij verkeerd gebruik en ondeskundige behandeling, bij gebruik van
geweld en bij reparaties die niet door ons erkend servicefiliaal zijn uitgevoerd,
vervalt de garantie.

Afhandeling bij een garantiekwestie

Voor een snelle afhandeling van uw aanvraag neemt u de volgende aanwijzingen

■ Houd voor alle aanvragen de kassabon en het artikelnummer (bijv. IAN

12345) als aankoopbewijs bij de hand.

■ Het artikelnummer vindt u op het typeplaatje, in het product gegraveerd, op

de titelpagina van de gebruiksaanwijzing (linksonder) of als sticker op de

■ Als er fouten in de werking of andere gebreken optreden, neemt u eerst

Před použitím výrobku se seznamte se všemi provozními a bezpečnostními

Likvidace obalu

Obal chrání přístroj před poškozením při přepravě. Zvolený obalový materiál
odpovídá hlediskům ochrany životního prostředí a likvidace a je tudíž recyklova­telný.

Navrácení obalu do oběhu zpracování materiálu šetří suroviny a snižuje produk­ci odpadů. Již nepotřebný obalový materiál zlikvidujte podle místních platných
předpisů.

Bezpečnostní pokyny

NEBEZPEČÍ ÚRAZU ELEKTRICKÝM PROUDEM

► Zapojte přístroj pouze do síťové zásuvky instalované v souladu

s předpisy, s napětím odpovídajícím jmenovitému napětí
uvedenému na typovém štítku.

► Přístroj se v žádném případě nesmí namáčet do kapaliny

a nedovolte, aby se do krytu přístroje dostaly jakékoliv kapa­liny. Přístroj nevystavujte vlhkosti ani jej nepoužívejte venku.
Pokud přesto do krytu přístroje vnikne kapalina, vytáhněte
ihned zástrčku přístroje ze síťové zásuvky a nechte přístroj
opravit kvalifikovaným odborným personálem.

► Vpřípadě provozních poruch a před čištěním přístroje

vytahujte zástrčku ze síťové zásuvky.

► Pokud zástrčku vytahujete ze zásuvky, netahejte za kabel.
► Síťový přípojný kabel neomotávejte kolem přístroje a chraňte

jej před poškozením.

► Poškozené zástrčky nebo poškozený síťový kabel nechte

ihned vyměnit autorizovaným odborným personálem nebo
zákaznickým servisem, abyste tím zabránili nebezpečí.

► Síťový přípojný kabel nepřehýbejte ani nestlačujte a poklá-

dejte jej tak, aby na něj nikdo nemohl stoupnout ani o něj
klopýtnout.

► Nesmí se používat prodlužovací kabel.
► Přístroje, síťového kabelu ani zástrčky se nikdy nedotýkejte

vlhkýma rukama.

► Ihned po použití odpojte přístroj od elektrické sítě. Pouze

tehdy, je-li síťová zástrčka vytažena ze síťové zásuvky, je
přístroj plně odpojen od proudu.

► Plášť přístroje nesmíte otvírat ani opravovat. Vtakovém

případě není zaručena bezpečnost a zaniká záruka. Vadný
přístroj nechte opravit pouze autorizovaným odborným
personálem.

► Dbejte na to, aby za provozu nebyl síťový kabel mokrý ani

vlhký.
Kabel veďte tak, aby se nemohl nikde přiskřípnout nebo
poškodit.

► Přístroj nikdy nepoužívejte v blízkosti vody, zvláště ne

v blízkosti umyvadel, van nebo podobných nádob.
Blízkost vody představuje nebezpečí, i když je přístroj vypnutý.
Proto po každém použití vytáhněte síťovou zástrčku. Jako
přídavnou ochranu Vám doporučujeme instalaci proudového
chrániče s domezovacím spouštěcím proudem nepřevyšujícím
30 mA do elektrického obvodu v koupelně. Poraďte se se
svým elektrikářem.

jovací kabel chraňte před poškozením.

► Pokud přístroj spadne nebo je poškozený, nesmíte jej již

uvádět do provozu. Přístroj nechte přezkoušet a případně
opravit kvalifikovaným odborným personálem.

► Části přístroje mohou být během provozu horké. Dotýkejte

se proto pouze rukojeti a spínače.

POZOR– HMOTNÉ ŠKODY!

► Nikdy neupravujte paruky nebo příčesky ze syntetického

materiálu. Ty se teplem mohou poškodit!

► Upravujte pouze lidské vlasy. Přístroj nepoužívejte u zvířat.

Před uvedením do provozu

♦ Dříve než uvedete přístroj do provozu, ujistěte se, zda

– je přístroj v bezvadném stavu,
– byly odstraněny všechny obaly.

♦ Otřete přístroj vlhkým hadříkem a dobře jej osušte.

UPOZORNĚNÍ – BEZPEČNOSTNÍ VYPNUTÍ

Tento přístroj je vybaven bezpečnostním vypínáním.
Po cca 30 minutách bez posunutí vypínače q se přístroj automaticky

vypne. Po cca 25 minutách začne blikat displej 6za účelem připomenutí
automatického vypnutí. Poté se zobrazí hlášení „OFF“.

Bezpečnostní vypnutí nenahrazuje manuální vypnutí vypínačem q!
Používá se pouze pro Vaši bezpečnost, pokud se zapomene vypnout
přístroj manuálně!

Před úpravou vlasů

■ Vlasy by měly být čisté, suché a zbavené přípravků pro tvarování účesu.

Vyjmuty jsou speciální výrobky, které podporují kroucení vlasů.

■ Vlasy před úpravou důkladně pročesejte, aby v nich nezůstala žádná

spletená místa.

■ Vlasy rozdělte na menší prameny, se kterými můžete snadno pracovat,

a horní partie upevněte na hlavě sponkami, aby Vám nebránily v práci.

Obsluha

Zapnutí/vypnutí

♦ Zastrčte síťovou zástrčku do síťové zásuvky.
♦ Posuňte vypínač q do polohy ON. Indikace teploty na displeji 6 začne

blikat. Přístroj je přednastaven na 185° C a spustí proces nahřívání. Jakmile
indikace teploty na displeji 6 svítí trvale, je topné těleso 1 nahřáté.

♦ Jste-li hotovi s úpravou vlasů, posuňte vypínač q do polohy OFF a vytáhněte

zástrčku ze sítě.

Nastavení teploty

V 10°C krocích můžete zvolit teplotu mezi 120 a 180 °C nebo v dalším 5°C
kroku maximální teplotu 185 °C.
Teplotu topného tělesa 1nastavíte takto:

■ Ke zvýšení teploty stiskněte tlačítko „+“ 8.

K přepnutí na maximální teplotu 185 °C stiskněte a podržte stisknuté tlačítko
„+“ 8.

■ Ke snížení teploty stiskněte tlačítko „–“ 9.

K přepnutí na minimální teplotu 120 °C stiskněte a podržte stisknuté tlačítko
„–“ 9.

UPOZORNĚNÍ

► Pro husté a silné vlasy zvolte spíše vyšší teplotu.
► Pro jemné a řídké vlasy zvolte spíše nižší teplotu.
► Pokud si nejste jisti, vždy začněte s nižší teplotou a zvyšujte ji tak dlouho,

dokud pro sebe nenajdete ideální teplotu.

Úprava vlasů

VÝSTRAHA! NEBEZPEČÍ ZRANĚNÍ!

► Buďte opatrní při zacházení s nahřátou kulmou. Nedotýkejte se kůže

na hlavě ani jiných částí hlavy horkým topným tělesem 1! To způsobuje
popáleniny!

Když je přístroj nahřátý:

♦ Pevně sepněte špičky pramínků vlasů pomocí klipsů pro uchycení vlasů 2

na spodním konci topného tělesa 1 (obr. 1).

♦ Zatočte potom topné těleso 1 do vlasů tak, aby vlasy obklopily topné

těleso 1 a klips pro uchycení vlasů 2.
Pro tento účel použijte funkci rotace:

– K natočení pramínků vlasů ve směru hodinových ručiček stiskněte levé

tlačítko se šipkou 4 nebo k natočení pramínků vlasů proti směru hodino­vých ručiček stiskněte pravé tlačítko se šipkou 4.

UPOZORNĚNÍ

► Dbejte na to, aby se topné těleso 1 otáčelo až ke špičkám vlasů, aby se

zabránilo kadeření konců vlasů.

♦ V této pozici sečkejte cca 5–12 sekund, použijte k tomu časovač:

– Stiskněte
– K přizpůsobení času stiskněte tlačítka „+“ 8nebo „–“ 9.

Máte možnost volby mezi 5, 8 a 12 sekundami.

– Po uplynutí nastavených sekund zazní tři zvukové signály.

UPOZORNĚNÍ

► Husté a/nebo dlouhé vlasy obvykle vyžadují o něco delší dobu než krátké

a/nebo řídké vlasy.

► Pokud si nejste jisti, vždy začněte kratší dobou a prodlužujte ji tak dlouho,

dokud pro sebe nenajdete tu ideální.

♦ Odviňte topné těleso 1 z pramínku vlasů a uvolněte klips pro uchycení

vlasů 2.

♦ Totéž proveďte se zbývajícími pramínky vlasů.
♦ Nechte kadeře vychladnout, než je učešete.

► Stisknutím tlačítka „RESET“ 5 se přístroj vrátí z libovolné polohy proti směru

► Chcete-li přístroj mezitím odložit, použijte k tomu stojan 3 na spodní straně

přístroje!

Čištění a údržba

■ Přístroj čistěte výhradně lehce navlhčeným hadříkem.

■ Před opětovným použitím nebo uložením nechte přístroj zcela uschnout.

Uložení

■ Přístroj můžete zavěsit za závěsné očko 0.

■ Přístroj uchovávejte na suchém a čistém místě.

Likvidace přístroje

V

žádném případě nevyhazujte přístroj do normálního domovního
odpadu.

na tento přístroj získáváte záruku v trvání 3let od data zakoupení. V případě

závad tohoto výrobku máte zákonná práva vůči prodejci výrobku. Tato zákonná
práva nejsou omezena naší níže uvedenou zárukou.

Záruční podmínky

Záruční doba začíná plynout dnem nákupu. Dobře uschovejte originál pokladní­ho lístku. Tento doklad je potřebný jako důkaz o koupi.

Pokud do tří let od data zakoupení tohoto výrobku dojde k vadě materiálu nebo
vý robní závadě, pak Vám podle našeho uvážení výrobek zdarma opravíme nebo
vyměníme. Předpokladem této záruky je, že bude během tříleté lhůty předložen
vadný přístroj a doklad o koupi (pokladní lístek) a stručně se popíše v čem závada
spočívá a kdy se vyskytla.

Vztahuje-li se na závadu naše záruka, obdržíte zpět buď opravený nebo nový
produkt. Opravou nebo výměnou výrobku nezačne plynout nová záruční doba.

Záruční doba a zákonné nároky vyplývající ze závad

Záručním plněním se záruční doba neprodlužuje. To platí ipro vyměněné a
opravené součásti. Poškození nebo vady vyskytující se případně již při nákupu
se musí oznámit ihned po vybalení. Po uplynutí záruční doby podléhají veškeré
opravy zpoplatnění.

Rozsah záruky

Přístroj byl vyroben pečlivě podle přísných směrnic kvality a před expedicí byl
svědomitě vyzkoušen.

Záruka se vztahuje na materiálové nebo výrobní vady. Tato záruka se nevztahuje
na součásti produktu, které jsou vystaveny normálnímu opotřebení, a proto je lze
považovat za opotřebovatelné díly nebo za poškození křehkých součástí jako jsou
např. spínače, akumulátory, formy na pečení nebo části, které jsou vyrobeny ze skla.

Tato záruka zaniká, pokud je výrobek poškozen, nebyl řádně používán nebo
udržován. Pro zajištění správného používání výrobku se musí přesně dodržovat
všechny pokyny uvedené v návodu kobsluze. Účelům použití a úkonům, které se
v návodu kobsluze nedoporučují nebo se před nimi varuje, je třeba se bezpod­mínečně vyhnout.

Výrobek je určen pouze pro soukromé účely a ne pro komerční použití. Při nesprávném
a neodborném používání, při použití násilí a při zásazích, které nebyly provedeny
našimi autorizovanými servisními provozovnami, záruční nároky zanikají.

■ Pro všechny dotazy mějte připraven pokladní lístek a číslo výrobku (např.

Desecho del embalaje

Indicaciones de seguridad

PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA

► Conecte el aparato exclusivamente a una toma eléctrica

instalada según lo dispuesto y con una tensión de red
equivalente a la indicada en la placa de características.

► No sumerja el aparato en líquidos ni permita que ningún

líquido penetre en la carcasa del aparato. El aparato no
debe estar expuesto a la humedad ni utilizarse a la intempe­rie. Si, por cualquier motivo, penetrase líquido en la carcasa
del aparato, desconecte el enchufe de la red eléctrica y
entregue el aparato al personal especializado cualificado
para su reparación.

► Si se producen errores de funcionamiento y antes de limpiar

el aparato, desconecte el enchufe de la red eléctrica.

► Para ello, tire del propio enchufe, nunca del cable.
► No enrolle el cable de conexión de red alrededor del apa-

rato y protéjalo contra daños.

► Si el enchufe o el cable de red están dañados, encomiende

su sustitución al personal técnico autorizado o al servicio de
asistencia técnica para evitar riesgos.

► No doble ni aplaste el cable de conexión de red y colóquelo

siempre de modo que no pueda pisarlo ni tropezarse con él.

► No utilice ningún cable de prolongación.
► No toque nunca el aparato, el cable ni el enchufe con las

manos húmedas.

► Desconecte el aparato de la red eléctrica inmediatamente

después de su uso. El aparato solo estará totalmente desco­nectado de la corriente si se extrae el enchufe de la toma
eléctrica.

PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA

► Queda prohibido abrir la carcasa del aparato o intentar

repararlo. De lo contrario, no podrá garantizarse la seguri­dad del aparato y se anulará el derecho a la garantía. Si el
aparato está defectuoso, encargue su reparación exclusiva­mente al personal especializado cualificado.

► No permita que el cable de conexión se moje o humedezca

mientras el aparato esté en funcionamiento.
Tienda el cable de forma que no se dañe ni quede aprisio­nado durante el manejo.

► No utilice nunca el aparato cerca del agua, especial-

mente en la proximidad de lavabos, bañeras o
recipientes similares. La proximidad de agua supone un
riesgo aunque el aparato esté desconectado. Por ello, debe
desconectarse siempre el enchufe después de cada uso.
Como protección adicional, se recomienda la instalación
en el cuarto de baño de un interruptor diferencial para
corrientes de fuga con una corriente de disparo inferior
a 30mA. Pida consejo a su instalador eléctrico.

► No pose nunca el aparato mientras esté encendido sin abatir

la pata de apoyo.

► Si el aparato se cae o está dañado, no debe seguir utilizán-

dose. Encomiende la revisión del aparato y su reparación al

► Las piezas del aparato pueden calentarse mucho durante el

funcionamiento. Por ello, toque exclusivamente el mango y
el interruptor.

► No utilice nunca el aparato para peinar pelucas o postizos

de material sintético. ¡El calor podría dañarlos!

► Peine exclusivamente cabello humano. No utilice el aparato

Antes de la puesta en funcionamiento

♦ Antes de poner en marcha el aparato, asegúrese de lo siguiente:

– El aparato debe estar en perfecto estado.
– Deben haberse retirado todos los materiales de embalaje.

♦ Limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo y séquelo.

INDICACIÓN: DESCONEXIÓN DE SEGURIDAD

Este aparato cuenta con una desconexión de seguridad.
Si transcurridos unos 30 minutos no se acciona el interruptor de encendido/

apagado q, el aparato se apaga automáticamente. Transcurridos unos
25 minutos, la pantalla 6 comienza a parpadear para recordarle la des­conexión automática. A continuación, aparece el mensaje "OFF".

¡La desconexión de seguridad no sustituye a la desconexión manual con
el interruptor de encendido/apagado q, sino que solo sirve para su
seguridad en caso de que se olvide de apagar el aparato!

Antes del peinado

■ El pelo debe estar limpio, seco y sin productos para el cabello, a excepción

de los productos especiales para el rizado.

■ Antes de empezar, peine bien el cabello para deshacer los nudos.

■ Separe el pelo en mechones manejables y sujete los mechones superiores

con pinzas para que no entorpezcan el proceso.

Manejo

Encendido/apagado

♦ Conecte el enchufe a la red eléctrica.
♦ Ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado q en la posición "ON".

Tras esto, la indicación de la temperatura comienza a parpadear en la pan­talla 6. El aparato está preajustado a 185°C y comienza con el proceso
de calentamiento. En cuanto la indicación de la temperatura se ilumine de
forma permanente en la pantalla 6, la varilla térmica 1 estará ya caliente.

♦ Cuando acabe el peinado, ajuste el interruptor de encendido/apagado q

en la posición "OFF" y desconecte el enchufe de la toma eléctrica.

Ajuste de la temperatura

Puede ajustarse la temperatura en intervalos de 10°C entre 120°C y 180°C
o en un intervalo posterior de 5°C para seleccionar la temperatura máxima
de 185°C. Para ajustar la temperatura de la varilla térmica 1, proceda de la
manera siguiente:

■ Pulse el botón "+" 8 para aumentar la temperatura.

Mantenga pulsado el botón "+" 8 para saltar a la temperatura máxima de
185°C.

■ Pulse el botón "–" 9 para disminuir la temperatura.

Mantenga pulsado el botón "–" 9 para saltar a la temperatura mínima de
120°C.

INDICACIÓN

► Para el pelo grueso y fuerte, seleccione una temperatura más bien elevada.
► Para el pelo fino, seleccione una temperatura más bien baja.
► En caso de duda, comience siempre con una temperatura inferior y aumén-

tela hasta que encuentre la temperatura ideal.

Peinado

¡ADVERTENCIA! ¡PELIGRO DE LESIONES!

► Tenga mucho cuidado al utilizar el rizador cuando esté caliente. ¡No

toque el cuero cabelludo ni cualquier otra parte del cuerpo con la varilla
térmica 1 caliente! ¡Sufriría quemaduras!

Cuando se haya calentado el aparato:

♦ Sujete la punta del mechón de pelo con la pinza para el pelo 2 en el

extremo inferior de la varilla térmica 1 (fig. 1).

♦ A continuación, enrolle el pelo en la varilla térmica 1 de forma que rodee

la varilla térmica 1 y la pinza para el pelo 2.
Para ello, utilice la función de rotación:

– Pulse el botón de flecha 4 para enrollar el mechón en sentido horario

o el botón de flecha 4 para enrollarlo en sentido antihorario.

INDICACIÓN

► Deje que la varilla térmica 1 rote en la dirección de las puntas para evitar

que se encrespen.

♦ Espere aprox. de 5 a 12 segundos en esta posición; para ello, utilice el

temporizador:

– Pulse el botón

predeterminada.

– Pulse los botones "+" 8o "–" 9 para ajustar el tiempo. Puede seleccio-

narse entre 5, 8 y 12 segundos.

– Una vez transcurridos los segundos ajustados, se emiten tres señales

acústicas.

INDICACIÓN

► Generalmente, el pelo grueso y/o largo requiere algo más de tiempo que

el pelo corto y/o fino.

► En caso de duda, comience siempre con un periodo de tiempo más corto

y auméntelo hasta que encuentre el periodo de tiempo ideal.

♦ Desenrolle el mechón de pelo de la varilla térmica 1 y suéltelo de la pinza

para el pelo 2.

♦ Proceda del mismo modo con el resto de los mechones.
♦ Antes de peinar los rizos, déjelos enfriar.

7. Se muestra un tiempo de 5 segundos de manera

INDICACIÓN

► Al pulsar el botón "RESET" 5, el aparato regresa desde cualquier posición

a la posición original en sentido antihorario de forma que la pinza para el
pelo 2 vuelve a apuntar hacia arriba.

► Si desea posar el aparato durante el proceso, utilice la pata de apoyo 3

situada en la parte inferior del aparato.

Limpieza y mantenimiento

PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA

► Antes de proceder a la limpieza, desconecte siempre el enchufe de la red

eléctrica. ¡Existe peligro de descarga eléctrica!

► Deje que el aparato se enfríe antes de limpiarlo. ¡Peligro de quemaduras!

¡ATENCIÓN: DAÑOS MATERIALES!

► No use productos de limpieza abrasivos, agresivos ni químicos, ya que

podrían dañar la superficie del aparato.

■ Limpie el aparato exclusivamente con un paño ligeramente húmedo.

■ Deje que se seque completamente antes de volver a utilizarlo o de guardarlo.

Almacenamiento

■ Puede colgar el aparato con la anilla para colgar 0.

■ Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco y sin polvo.

Desecho del aparato

Estimado cliente:
Este aparato cuenta con una garantía de 3 años a partir de la fecha de compra.

Si se detectan defectos en el producto, puede ejercer sus derechos legales frente
al vendedor. Estos derechos legales no se ven limitados por la garantía descrita
a continuación.

Condiciones de la garantía

El plazo de la garantía comienza con la fecha de compra. Guarde bien el com­probante de caja original, ya que lo necesitará como justificante de compra.

Si dentro de un periodo de tres años a partir de la fecha de compra de este pro­ducto se detecta un defecto en su material o un error de fabricación, asumiremos
la reparación o sustitución gratuita del producto a nuestra elección. La prestación
de la garantía requiere la presentación del aparato defectuoso y del comprobante
de caja, así como una breve descripción por escrito del defecto detectado y de
las circunstancias en las que se haya producido dicho defecto, dentro del plazo
de tres años.

Si el defecto está cubierto por nuestra garantía, le devolveremos el producto repa­rado o le suministraremos uno nuevo. La reparación o sustitución del producto no
supone el inicio de un nuevo periodo de garantía.

Duración de la garantía y reclamaciones legales por vicios

La duración de la garantía no se prolonga por hacer uso de ella. Este principio
también se aplica a las piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Si después de la compra
del aparato, se detecta la existencia de daños o de defectos al desembalarlo,
deben notificarse de inmediato. Cualquier reparación que se realice una vez
finalizado el plazo de garantía estará sujeta a costes.

Alcance de la garantía

El aparato se ha fabricado cuidadosamente según estándares elevados de
calidad y se ha examinado en profundidad antes de su entrega.

La prestación de la garantía solo rige para defectos en los materiales o errores
de fabricación. Esta garantía no cubre las piezas del producto normalmente
sometidas al desgaste y que, en consecuencia, puedan considerarse piezas de
desgaste ni los daños producidos en los componentes frágiles, p. ej., interruptores,
baterías, moldes de horno o piezas de vidrio.

Se anulará la garantía si el producto se daña o no se utiliza o mantiene correctamente.
Para utilizar correctamente el producto, deben observarse todas las indicaciones
especificadas en las instrucciones de uso. Debe evitarse cualquier uso y manejo que
esté desaconsejado o frente al que se advierta en las instrucciones de uso.

El producto está previsto exclusivamente para su uso privado y no para su uso

Desembalagem

♦ Retire todas as peças do aparelho e o manual de instruções da caixa.
♦ Remova todo o material de embalagem.

► Os materiais de embalagem não podem ser utilizados nas brincadeiras de

crianças. Perigo de asfixia.

Eliminação da embalagem

A embalagem protege o aparelho contra danos durante o transporte. Os mate­riais de embalagem são selecionados tendo em conta os aspetos ambientais e
técnicos relativamente à eliminação, sendo, por isso, recicláveis.

A reciclagem da embalagem permite a poupança de matérias-primas e reduz a
formação de lixo. Elimine os materiais de embalagem que já não são necessá­rios de acordo com os regulamentos locais em vigor.

NOTA

► Se possível, conserve a embalagem original durante o período de garantia,

para que possa embalar o aparelho corretamente em caso de acionamento
da mesma.

Tenha em atenção a marcação nos diversos materiais de embalagem e separe-os

Instruções de segurança

PERIGO DE CHOQUE ELÉTRICO

► Ligue o aparelho apenas a uma tomada corretamente insta-

lada, com uma tensão de alimentação que coincida com a
da placa de identificação.

► Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em líquidos e não deixe entrar

líquidos no corpo do aparelho. Não exponha o aparelho a
humidade nem o utilize ao ar livre. No entanto, em caso de
infiltração de líquido no corpo do aparelho, remova imedia­tamente a ficha da tomada e solicite a respetiva reparação
por técnicos devidamente qualificados.

► Em caso de falhas de funcionamento, e antes de limpar o

aparelho, retire a ficha da tomada.

► Retire a ficha da tomada, puxando pela ficha e nunca pelo

próprio cabo.

► Não enrole o cabo de alimentação à volta do aparelho e

proteja-o de danos.

► Cabos ou fichas danificados devem ser imediatamente subs-

tituídos por técnicos autorizados ou pelo Serviço de Apoio
ao Cliente, de modo a evitar situações de perigo.

► Não dobre nem esmague o cabo de alimentação e colo-

que-o de modo que ninguém o pise ou tropece no mesmo.

► Não utilize extensões de cabos.
► Nunca toque no aparelho, no cabo de alimentação e na

ficha elétrica com as mãos molhadas.

► Após a utilização, desligue imediatamente o aparelho da

corrente. Esta só fica totalmente isenta de corrente quando
retira a ficha da tomada.

PERIGO DE CHOQUE ELÉTRICO

► Não pode abrir ou reparar o corpo do aparelho. Caso

contrário, a segurança não é assegurada e a garantia
extingue-se. Um aparelho avariado deve ser reparado
apenas por técnicos qualificados.

► Certifique-se de que o cabo de alimentação não fica húmi-

do ou molhado durante o funcionamento.
Coloque o cabo de modo que não possa ficar entalado
nem ser danificado.

► Nunca utilize o aparelho na proximidade de água,

especialmente lavatórios, banheiras ou recipientes
similares. A proximidade à água representa perigo, mesmo
com o aparelho desligado. Por esta razão, retire a ficha da
tomada após cada utilização. Como proteção adicional,
recomenda-se a instalação de um dispositivo diferencial
residual com uma corrente de disparo nominal igual ou
inferior a 30 mA no circuito da casa de banho.
Aconselhe-se com o seu eletricista.

AVISO! PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por crianças com idades

superiores a 8 anos e pessoas com capacidades físicas,
sensoriais ou mentais reduzidas, ou com falta de experiên­cia e/ou conhecimento, caso sejam vigiadas ou instruídas
sobre a utilização segura do aparelho e tenham compreen­dido os perigos daí resultantes.

► As crianças não podem brincar com o aparelho.
► A limpeza e a manutenção, por parte do utilizador, não

podem ser realizadas por crianças, salvo se forem vigiadas.

► Nunca pouse o aparelho ligado sem abrir a base.
► Nunca deixe o aparelho em funcionamento sem vigilância.
► Nunca coloque o aparelho próximo de fontes de calor e

proteja o cabo de alimentação contra danos.

► Se o aparelho tiver caído ou estiver danificado, não o pode

voltar a colocar em funcionamento. O aparelho deve ser
verificado e, se necessário, reparado por um técnico devida­mente qualificado.

► As peças do aparelho podem aquecer durante o funciona-

mento. Por esta razão, toque apenas no punho e nos botões.

ATENÇÃO - DANOS MATERIAIS!

► Nunca utilize em perucas ou cabelo sintético. Estes podem

ser danificados pelo calor!

► Utilize apenas para modelar cabelos humanos. Não utilize

o aparelho em animais.

Antes da colocação em funcionamento

♦ Antes de colocar o aparelho em funcionamento, certifique-se de que

– o aparelho se encontra em perfeitas condições de funcionamento,
– todos os materiais de embalagem estão retirados.

♦ Limpe o aparelho com um pano húmido e seque-o.

NOTA - DESATIVAÇÃO DE SEGURANÇA

Este aparelho está equipado com uma desativação de segurança.
Após aprox. 30 minutos sem acionar o interruptor Ligar/desligar q, o

aparelho desliga-se automaticamente. Após aprox. 25 minutos, o visor 6
começa a piscar para o relembrar da desativação automática. A seguir é
apresentada a mensagem "OFF".

A desativação de segurança não substitui a desativação manual com o
interruptor Ligar/desligar q! Destina-se apenas a garantir a sua segurança,
caso se tenha esquecido de desligar!

Antes de ondular

■ O cabelo deve estar limpo, seco e sem produtos de modelagem. Uma exce-

ção constituem produtos especiais para ajudar a ondular o cabelo.

■ Penteie bem o cabelo antes de ondular para que não fiquem nós no cabelo.

■ Divida o cabelo em partes manuseáveis e prenda as partes superiores com

pinças à cabeça, para que não causem estorvo.

Utilização

Ligar/desligar

♦ Insira a ficha numa tomada.
♦ Desloque o interruptor Ligar/desligar q para a posição ON. A indicação

da temperatura no visor 6 começa a piscar. O aparelho está predefinido
para 185 °C e inicia o processo de aquecimento. Assim que a indicação
da temperatura no visor 6 apresentar uma luz constante, o modelador de
cabelo 1 está quente.

♦ Quando terminar a modelagem do cabelo, desloque o interruptor Ligar/

desligar q para a posição OFF e retire a ficha da tomada.

Regular a temperatura

Pode selecionar em passos de 10 °C, uma temperatura entre 120 e 180 °C
ou a temperatura máxima de 185 °C com mais um passo de 5 °C.
Pode regular a temperatura do modelador de cabelo 1 do seguinte modo:

■ Prima o botão "+" 8 para aumentar a temperatura.

Prima e mantenha premido o botão "+" 8 para saltar para a temperatura
máxima de 185 °C.

■ Prima o botão "–" 9 para diminuir a temperatura.

Prima e mantenha premido o botão "–" 9 para saltar para a temperatura
mínima de 120 °C.

NOTA

► Para cabelo espesso e forte, selecione uma temperatura mais elevada.
► Para cabelo fino e frágil, selecione uma temperatura mais baixa.
► Em caso de dúvida, comece por uma temperatura mais baixa e vá aumen-

tando, até chegar à temperatura ideal.

Modelar

AVISO! PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Tenha cuidado ao manusear o modelador de caracóis. Não toque no couro

cabeludo ou noutras partes do corpo com o modelador de cabelo 1
quente! Perigo de queimaduras!

Quando o aparelho está quente:

♦ Prenda a ponta da madeixa de cabelo, com a ajuda da pinça para cabelo

2, na extremidade inferior do modelador de cabelo 1 (fig.1).

♦ Enrole depois o cabelo à volta do modelador de cabelo 1 de tal forma

que o cabelo envolva o modelador de cabelo 1 e a pinça para cabelo 2.
Para tal, utilize a função de rotação:

– Prima o botão de seta esquerdo 4 para enrolar a madeixa de cabelo

no sentido dos ponteiros do relógio ou o botão de seta direito 4 para
a enrolar no sentido contrário aos ponteiros do relógio.

NOTA

► Certifique-se de que deixa o modelador de cabelo 1 rodar na direção

das pontas do cabelo para evitar que as pontas do cabelo fiquem encres­padas.

♦ Espere aprox. 5-12 segundos nesta posição, utilizando o temporizador para

este fim:

– Prima o botão
– Prima os botões "+" 8ou "–" 9 para ajustar o tempo. Pode escolher

entre 5, 8 e 12 segundos.

– Assim que os segundos ajustados passarem, soam três sinais sonoros.

NOTA

► Cabelo espesso e/ou comprido necessita normalmente de mais tempo do

que cabelo curto e/ou fino.

► Em caso de dúvida, comece sempre por um período de tempo mais baixo

e vá aumentando, até chegar ao período de tempo ideal.

♦ Liberte o modelador de cabelo 1 da madeixa de cabelo e abra a pinça

para cabelo 2.

♦ Proceda da mesma forma com as restantes madeixas.
♦ Deixe arrefecer os caracóis antes de os pentear.

7. É indicado, por norma, um período de 5 segundos.

NOTA

► Se premir o botão "RESET" 5 , o aparelho sai de qualquer posição no

sentido contrário aos ponteiros do relógio e volta para a posição de
partida, de forma que a pinça para cabelo 2 fique voltada novamente
para cima.

► Se, de vez em quando, quiser pousar o aparelho, utilize a base 3 na

parte inferior do aparelho!

Limpeza e conservação

PERIGO DE CHOQUE ELÉTRICO

► Antes de proceder à limpeza, retire sempre a ficha da tomada. Perigo de

choque elétrico!

AVISO! PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Antes de proceder à limpeza, deixe o aparelho arrefecer. Perigo de

queimaduras!

ATENÇÃO - DANOS MATERIAIS!

► Não utilize detergentes agressivos, químicos ou abrasivos! Estes podem

danificar a superfície do aparelho.

■ Limpe o aparelho apenas com um pano ligeiramente humedecido.

■ Deixe o aparelho secar completamente antes de o voltar a utilizar ou

guardar.

Armazenamento

■ Pode pendurar o aparelho pela argola de suspensão 0.

■ Guarde o aparelho num local seco e isento de pó.

Eliminação do aparelho

Este aparelho tem uma garantia de 3 anos a contar da data de compra. No caso

deste produto ter defeitos, tem direitos legais contra o vendedor do produto. Estes
direitos legais não são limitados pela nossa garantia que passamos a transcrever.

Condições de garantia

O prazo de garantia tem início na data da compra. Por favor, guarde bem o talão
de compra original. Este documento é necessário como comprovativo da compra.

Se dentro de três anos a partir da data de compra deste produto, ocorrer um
defeito de material ou fabrico, o produto será reparado ou substituído por nós –
consoante a nossa preferência – gratuitamente. Esta garantia parte do princípio
que o aparelho defeituoso e o comprovativo da compra (talão de compra) são
apresentados dentro do prazo de três anos e é descrito brevemente, por escrito,
em que consiste o defeito e quando ocorreu.

Se o defeito estiver coberto pela nossa garantia, receberá o produto reparado
ou um novo produto.

Prazo de garantia e direitos legais

O período de garantia não é prolongado pelo acionamento da mesma. Isto
também se aplica a peças substituídas e reparadas. Danos e defeitos que possam
eventualmente já existir no momento da compra devem ser imediatamente comu­nicados, após retirar o aparelho da embalagem. Expirado o período da garantia,
quaisquer reparações necessárias estão sujeitas a pagamento.

Âmbito da garantia

O aparelho foi fabricado segundo diretivas de qualidade rigorosas, com o maior
cuidado, e testado escrupulosamente antes da sua distribuição.

A garantia abrange apenas defeitos de material ou de fabrico. Esta garantia não
abrange peças do produto, que estão sujeitas ao desgaste normal e podem ser
consideradas desta forma peças de desgaste, ou danos em peças frágeis, p. ex.
interruptores, acumuladores, formas para bolos ou peças de vidro.

Esta garantia perde a validade, se o produto for danificado, utilizado incorreta­mente ou se a manutenção tenha sido realizada indevidamente. Para garantir
uma utilização correta do produto, é necessário cumprir todas as instruções contidas
no manual de instruções. Ações ou fins de utilização que são desaconselhados,
ou para os quais é alertado no manual de instruções, têm de ser impreterivelmente
evitados.

O produto foi concebido apenas para uso privado e não para uso comercial.
A garantia extingue-se em caso de utilização incorreta, uso de força e interven­ções que não tenham sido efetuadas pela nossa Filial de Assistência Técnica
