Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part
of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and
disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of
applications specifi ed. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any
future owner.

Intended use
This hair straightener is intended for straightening human hair only. Under no circumstances is it to be used for wigs or hairpieces made of synthetic material. This
appliance is intended exclusively for private use. Pay heed to all of the information in this operating manual, especially the safety instructions. This appliance is
not intended for commercial applications.
The appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the
scope described. No claims of any kind will be accepted for damage arising
as a result of incorrect use. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Safety information
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supply-
ing a mains power voltage of 120–240 V ~, 50/60 Hz.
► Remove the plug from the mains power socket in event of
operating malfunctions and before cleaning the appliance.
► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the
socket; do not pull the power cable itself.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or damp
during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be
crushed or damaged.
► If the appliance, the power cable or the plug are damaged,
arrange for them to be repaired by Customer Services to
avoid the risk of injury.
► Do not use the appliance outdoors.
► Do not use extension cables – they will make it diffi cult to
disconnect the appliance quickly in an emergency.
► Never touch the appliance, the power cable or the power
plug with wet hands.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable so
that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and
protect it from being damaged. Under no circumstances
should the appliance be submersed in liquids or liquids be
allowed to penetrate the housing. Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors. If any liquid
enters the housing, disconnect the appliance from the mains
power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualifi ed technician.
► Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Never use the appliance near water, and keep it away
from sinks, baths and other similar containers. The proximity
of water is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched
off . Always disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket after use. For additional protection, we recommend
you install a residual current circuit-breaker with an activation
power rating of no more than 30 mA for the power circuit
in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Never leave a switched-on appliance unsupervised.
► Never place the appliance close to sources of heat, and
always protect the power cable from damage.
► Do not operate the appliance if it has been dropped or is
damaged in any way. Have the appliance checked and/or
repaired by qualifi ed technicians if necessary.
► This appliance may be used by children of the age of 8
years or more and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge ONLY if they are being supervised or have been
instructed with regard to the safe use of the appliance and
have understood the potential risks.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by
children unless they are under supervision.
► Do not open the housing or attempt to repair the appliance
yourself. This can lead to risks and also invalidates the warranty. Defective appliances should be repaired by authorized
specialists only.
► The appliance heats up during use. Always hold the appli-
ance by its grip when it is hot.

Package contents
The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
carton.
2) Remove all packaging material.
3) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section entitled "Cleaning".
NOTE
Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.

► If any items are missing or damaged as a result of defective packaging
or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter "Service").
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that
are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period so

that the appliance can be properly packed for returning in the event of a
warranty claim.

Before straightening
■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. The only exception
to this are special products which facilitate hair straightening.
■ Comb the hair thoroughly before straightening so that there are no knots in it.
Automatic switch-off
This appliance is fi tted with an automatic switch-off system. After 30 minutes, the
appliance will switch itself off automatically. After approx. 25 minutes the indicator
lamp 2 starts to fl ash, to remind you it is about to switch off automatically. If you
want to continue using the appliance, switch it off for a moment and then back
on again.
NOTE
►
The automatic switch-off is a safety function only and is not intended as
a replacement for switching the appliance off properly using the on/off
switch 1!
Operation
Switching on/off
NOTE
The hotplates 5 must be free of dirt. Clean them before use if required
►
(see section "Cleaning").
The appliance is secured with the catch 3. Press the hotplates 5 together and
pull the catch 3 out. Now you can open the hair straightener all the way.
1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
2) To switch the appliance on, slide the ON/OFF switch 1 forwards (On/1).
The indicator light 2 starts to fl ash red and the appliance starts to heat
up. After about 1 minute, the hair straightener will have heated up and the
indicator light 2 lights up red.
3) When you have fi nished styling your hair, push the ON/OFF switch 1 backwards (Off /0). The indicator light 2 goes out. Pull out the plug and allow
the appliance to cool down completely.

Straightening hair
1) Prepare the hair as described in "Before straightening".
2) Start with the lower sections of hair at the back of your head. Work around
the sides to the front. Take a strand with a width of approximately 2cm and
hold its end tightly between your index and middle fi nger of the hand that is
not holding the hair straightener.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Ensure that the hotplates 5 do not touch your scalp. Risk of burns! During
operation, touch the appliance only on the handles. Risk of burns!
3) Clamp the strand near the root between the hotplates 5 and press them
together.
4) Pull the entire strand through the hotplates 5 by pulling the hair straightener
quickly downwards from the root to the tips.
5) Proceed in the same way for every strand.
6) Once you have straightened all the strands, switch the appliance off and pull
the power plug from the mains power socket.
7) Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
8) Press the hotplates 5 together and push the catch 3 back in.

Cleaning

1) Wipe the housing and the hotplates 5 with a damp cloth.

Warranty
This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase.
This appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE

This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifi cations/repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty. The warranty period
is not prolonged by repairs eff ected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components.
Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, but no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to charge.

Εισαγωγή
Συγχαρητήρια για την αγορά της νέας σας συσκευής.
Αποφασίσατε έτσι για την απόκτηση ενός προϊόντος υψηλής ποιότητας.
Οι οδηγίες χρήσης είναι τμήμα αυτού του προϊόντος. Περιέχουν σημαντικές
υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια, τη χρήση και την απόρριψη. Πριν από τη χρήση
του προϊόντος, εξοικειωθείτε με όλες τις υποδείξεις χειρισμού και ασφάλειας.
Χρησιμοποιείτε το προϊόν μόνο όπως περιγράφεται και για τους αναφερόμενους

Προβλεπόμενη χρήση
Το σίδερο για το ίσιωμα των μαλλιών εξυπηρετεί αποκλειστικά στο ίσιωμα ανθρώπινων τριχών, σε καμία περίπτωση δεν ενδείκνυται για περούκες και μαλλιά
από συνθετική ύλη. Επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή αποκλειστικά
για ιδιωτική χρήση. Προσέξτε όλες τις πληροφορίες στις παρούσες οδηγίες
χρήσης, κυρίως τις υποδείξεις ασφαλείας. Η συσκευή αυτή δεν προορίζεται για
επαγγελματική χρήση.
Μία άλλη ή διαφορετική χρήση από τα ανωτέρω αναφερόμενα ισχύει ως μη
σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς. Απαιτήσεις οποιουδήποτε είδους λόγω φθορών

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας
ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΙΑΣ
► Συνδέετε τη συσκευή μόνο σε μία σύμφωνα με τις προδια-
γραφές εγκατεστημένη πρίζα με τάση δικτύου 120 - 240 V ~,
50/60 Hz.
► Σε περίπτωση βλαβών λειτουργίας και πριν από τον καθαρι-
σμό της συσκευής αποσυνδέετε το βύσμα από την πρίζα.
► Τραβάτε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας από την υποδοχή κρατώ-
ντας πάντα το βύσμα και ποτέ το ίδιο το καλώδιο.
► Προσέχετε ώστε κατά τη λειτουργία το καλώδιο τροφοδο-
σίας να μην βρέχεται ή υγραίνεται. Περνάτε το κατά τέτοιο
τρόπο, ώστε να μην πιάνεται ή φθείρεται.
► Εάν η συσκευή, το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας ή το βύσμα παρουσιά-
σουν βλάβη, η αντικατάσταση πρέπει να πραγματοποιείται από
το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών, προς αποφυγή κινδύνων.
► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε εξωτερικό χώρο.
► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε καλώδιο επέκτασης έτσι ώστε σε περίπτω-
ση ανάγκης το βύσμα να είναι γρήγορα προσβάσιμο.
► Ποτέ μην πιάνετε τη συσκευή, το καλώδιο και το βύσμα με βρεγ-
μένα χέρια.
► Μην τσακίζετε ή συμπιέζετε το καλώδιο και τοποθετείτε το
κατά τέτοιο τρόπο, ώστε να μην μπορεί κανείς να το πατήσει
ή να σκοντάψει σε αυτό.
► Μην τυλίγετε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας γύρω από τη συ-
σκευή και προστατεύετέ το από φθορές. Σε καμία περίπτωση
δεν επιτρέπεται να βυθίζετε τη συσκευή σε υγρά, ούτε και να
εισχωρήσουν υγρά μέσα στο περίβλημά της. Απαγορεύεται
η έκθεση της συσκευής σε υγρασία, καθώς και η χρήση της
σε εξωτερικούς χώρους. Στην περίπτωση που εισχωρήσει
πάντως υγρό στο περίβλημα της συσκευής, αποσυνδέστε
αμέσως το βύσμα της συσκευής από την πρίζα και αναθέστε
την επισκευή σε εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό.
► Μετά τη χρήση αποσυνδέετε αμέσως τη συσκευή από το δίκτυο
ρεύματος. Μόνο όταν αφαιρείτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα διακόπτεται πλήρως η τροφοδοσία ρεύματος στη συσκευή.

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΙΑΣ
Ποτέ μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε νερό, κυρίως
όχι κοντά σε λεκάνες πλύσης, μπανιέρες ή παρόμοια δοχεία. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος από την ύπαρξη νερού, ακόμα και
όταν η συσκευή είναι εκτός ρεύματος. Για αυτό, βγάζετε το
βύσμα από την πρίζα μετά από κάθε χρήση. Ως συμπληρωματική προστασία προτείνεται η εγκατάσταση μιας διάταξης
προστασίας εσφαλμένου ρεύματος με ρεύμα απεμπλοκής
αξιολόγησης όχι μεγαλύτερο από 30 mA στο κύκλωμα ρεύματος του μπάνιου. Ρωτήστε σχετικά τον ηλεκτρολόγο σας.

► Ποτέ μην αφήνετε την ενεργοποιημένη συσκευή χωρίς επιτήρηση.
► Ποτέ μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε πηγές θερμότη-
τας και προστατεύετε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας από βλάβες.
► Στην περίπτωση που η συσκευή έχει πέσει κάτω ή έχει βλάβη,
δεν επιτρέπεται πλέον να τη θέσετε σε λειτουργία. Παραδώστε τη συσκευή προς έλεγχο και εάν απαιτείται επισκευή σε
εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό.
► Μπορεί να γίνεται χρήση αυτής της συσκευής από παιδιά
άνω των 8 ετών, καθώς και από άτομα με μειωμένες φυσικές,
αισθητηριακές ή νοητικές ικανότητες ή με έλλειψη εμπειρίας
και/ή γνώσεων, εφόσον επιτηρούνται ή έχουν εκπαιδευτεί
αναφορικά με την ασφαλή χρήση της συσκευής και έχουν
κατανοήσει τους επακόλουθους κινδύνους.
► Τα παιδιά δεν επιτρέπεται να παίζουν με τη συσκευή.
► Ο καθαρισμός και η συντήρηση χρήστη δεν επιτρέπεται να
διεξάγονται από παιδιά, εκτός εάν επιτηρούνται.
► Δεν επιτρέπεται να ανοίγετε ή να επισκευάζετε το περίβλημα
της συσκευής από μόνοι σας. Σε αυτήν την περίπτωση δεν
διασφαλίζεται πλέον η ασφαλής λειτουργία και ακυρώνεται
η εγγύηση. Η ελαττωματική συσκευή πρέπει να επισκευάζεται

► Η συσκευή θερμαίνεται κατά τη διάρκεια της λειτουργίας.

Παραδοτέος εξοπλισμός
Η συσκευή παραδίδεται κανονικά με τα εξής στοιχεία:

1) Αφαιρέστε όλα τα εξαρτήματα της συσκευής και τις οδηγίες χρήσης από τη
συσκευασία.
2) Αφαιρέστε όλα τα υλικά της συσκευασίας.
3) Καθαρίστε όλα τα εξαρτήματα της συσκευής όπως περιγράφεται στο κεφάλαιο «Καθαρισμός».
ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ
Ελέγξτε τον παραδοτέο εξοπλισμό ως προς την πληρότητα και για εμφανείς

φθορές.
► Σε περίπτωση ελλιπούς παραδοτέου εξοπλισμού ή ζημιών λόγω ελλιπούς
συσκευασίας ή λόγω μεταφοράς, απευθυνθείτε στην ανοικτή τηλεφωνική
γραμμή εξυπηρέτησης (βλ. Κεφάλαιο «Σέρβις»).
Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας
Η συσκευασία προστατεύει τη συσκευή από φθορές κατά τη μεταφορά. Τα υλικά
συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους οικολογικούς παράγοντες και τους
παράγοντες της τεχνικής απόρριψης και για το λόγο αυτό είναι ανακυκλώσιμα.
Η επιστροφή της συσκευασίας στο κύκλωμα υλικών εξοικονομεί πρώτες ύλες και
μειώνει την ποσότητα των απορριμμάτων. Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας που
δεν χρησιμοποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές ισχύουσες προδιαγραφές.
ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ
Εάν είναι δυνατό φυλάξτε τη γνήσια συσκευασία κατά τη διάρκεια της

εγγύησης, για να μπορείτε σε περίπτωση εγγύησης να συσκευάσετε τη

Πριν το ίσιωμα
■ Τα μαλλιά πρέπει να είναι καθαρά, στεγνά και χωρίς προϊόντα στάιλινγκ.
Εξαιρούνται ειδικά προϊόντα που βοηθούν στο ίσιωμα των μαλλιών.
■ Χτενίστε καλά τα μαλλιά πριν το ίσιωμα, ώστε να μην είναι μπερδεμένα.
Αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση
Αυτή η συσκευή είναι εξοπλισμένη με μια λειτουργία αυτόματης απενεργοποίησης.
Μετά από 30 λεπτά, η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα. Μετά από 25 λεπτά,
η λυχνία ένδειξης 2 αρχίζει να αναβοσβήνει με πράσινο χρώμα υπενθυμίζοντας
την επικείμενη αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση. Εάν θέλετε να συνεχίσετε να χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή, απενεργοποιήστε τη για λίγο και ενεργοποιήστε τη πάλι
αμέσως.

Η αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση εξυπηρετεί μόνο στην ασφάλεια και δεν
αντικαθιστά την απενεργοποίηση της συσκευής μέσω του διακόπτη On/
Off 1!

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ
Οι θερμαντικές πλάκες 5 πρέπει να είναι καθαρές. Καθαρίστε τις, εάν
►
χρειαστεί, πριν τη χρήση (βλ. Κεφάλαιο «Καθαρισμός»).
Η συσκευή είναι ασφαλισμένη με την ασφάλιση 3. Πιέστε τις δύο θερμαντικές
πλάκες 5 μαζί και τραβήξτε την ασφάλιση 3 προς τα έξω. Τώρα το σίδερο
ανοίγει αρκετά.
1) Συνδέστε το βύσμα σε μια πρίζα.
2) Ωθήστε το διακόπτη On/Off 1 προς τα εμπρός (On/1). Η λυχνία ένδειξης
2 αρχίζει να αναβοσβήνει κόκκινη και υποδηλώνει ότι το σίδερο θερμαίνεται. Μετά από περ. 1 λεπτό, το σίδερο έχει ζεσταθεί και η λυχνία ένδειξης 2
ανάβει συνεχώς κόκκινη.
3) Ωθήστε το διακόπτη ON/OFF 1 προς τα πίσω (Off/0) όταν ολοκληρώσετε
το στάιλινγκ των μαλλιών. Η λυχνία ένδειξης 2 σβήνει. Αποσυνδέστε το
βύσμα και αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει καλά.

Ίσιωμα μαλλιών
1) Προετοιμάστε τα μαλλιά όπως περιγράφεται στο σημείο «Πριν το ίσιωμα».
2) Ξεκινήστε με τα κάτω τμήματα των μαλλιών στο πίσω μέρος του κεφαλιού.
Ξεκινήστε από τα πλάγια προς τα εμπρός: Χωρίστε μια τούφα μαλλιών περ.
2 εκ. και πιάστε το άκρο στο όριο τριχοφυΐας σφιχτά μεταξύ του δείκτη και
του μεσαίου δακτύλου του χεριού, με το οποίο δεν κρατάτε το σίδερο.
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ! ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΤΡΑΥΜΑΤΙΣΜΟΥ!
► Προσέξτε ώστε οι θερμαντικές πλάκες 5 να μην έρχονται σε επαφή με το
δέρμα της κεφαλής. Κίνδυνος εγκαύματος! Κατά τη λειτουργία επιτρέπεται
να πιάνετε τη συσκευή μόνο από τη λαβή! Κίνδυνος εγκαύματος!
3) Πιάστε την τούφα μαλλιών κοντά στο δέρμα του κεφαλιού μεταξύ των θερμαντικών πλακών 5 και πιέστε τις πλάκες μαζί.
4) Τραβήξτε ολόκληρη την τούφα μέσα από τις θερμαντικές πλάκες 5 τραβώντας το σίδερο γρήγορα από το όριο τριχοφυΐας προς τις άκρες και κάτω.
5) Κάντε το ίδιο με κάθε τούφα.
6) Όταν ισιώσετε όλες τις τούφες, απενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή και βγάλτε το
βύσμα από την πρίζα.
7) Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει καλά.
8) Πιέστε τις δύο θερμαντικές πλάκες 5 μαζί και τραβήξτε πάλι την ασφάλιση 3
προς τα μέσα.

Καθαρισμός

1) Σκουπίστε το περίβλημα και τις θερμαντικές πλάκες 5 με ένα νωπό πανί.
2) Σε πιο σκληρές ακαθαρσίες, προσθέτετε στο πανί ένα ήπιο απορρυπαντικό.
Απομακρύνετε τα υπολείμματα του απορρυπαντικού με ένα πανί βρεγμένο
με νερό.
3) Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει καλά πριν τη χρησιμοποιήσετε ξανά.
Φύλαξη
■ Η συσκευή θα πρέπει να κρυώνει πάντα επάνω σε μια θερμανθεκτική επιφάνεια.
■ Μπορείτε να κρεμάσετε τη συσκευή στο δακτύλιο ανάρτησης 4.

Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε και ελέγχθηκε προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή.
Παρακαλούμε φυλάξτε την απόδειξη ταμείου ως απόδειξη για την αγορά. Σε
περίπτωση απαίτησης εγγύησης, επικοινωνήστε τηλεφωνικώς με το τμήμα σέρβις.
Μόνο έτσι μπορεί να εξασφαλιστεί δωρεάν αποστολή του εμπορεύματός σας.

Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για ιδιωτική και όχι για επαγγελματική χρήση.
Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης χρήσης, χρήσης βίας και

σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.
Τα νομικά σας δικαιώματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω αυτής της εγγύησης. Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν παρατείνεται μέσω της παροχής εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει και για

Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις κατά την αγορά πρέπει να
γνωστοποιηθούν αμέσως μετά το άνοιγμα της συσκευασίας, το αργότερο, ωστόσο, δύο ημέρες από την ημερομηνία αγοράς.
Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης, τυχόν εμφανιζόμενες επισκευές χρεώνονται.

dieser Bedienungsanleitung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Dieses Gerät
ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte
Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 120 - 240 V ~,
50/60 Hz an.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät
reinigen, den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass
oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt
oder beschädigt werden kann.
► Sollte das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
beschädigt sein, lassen Sie diese durch den Kundendienst
ersetzen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.
► Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im Notfall der
Netzstecker schnell zu erreichen ist.
► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen
Händen an.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verle-
gen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.
► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät und schützen
Sie es vor Beschädigungen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls
in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das
Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner
Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch
einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie
sofort den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose
und lassen Sie es von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Strom-
netz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose
ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von
Wasser, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken,
Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe von
Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Ziehen Sie daher nach jedem Gebrauch
den Netzstecker. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird Ihnen die
Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im
Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur um Rat.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSAGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen
und schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Beschädigungen.
► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen
Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät
von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenenfalls reparieren.
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von
Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.
► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht selbst öff nen oder repa-
rieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und
die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie das defekte Gerät

Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

Vor dem Glätten
■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-
nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Glätten des Haares unterstützen.
■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Glätten gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten
im Haar befi nden.
Automatische Abschaltung
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer automatischen Abschaltung ausgestattet. Nach 30
Minuten schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Nach ca. 25 Minuten beginnt
die Indikationsleuchte 2 grün zu blinken und erinnert Sie damit an die bald
folgende automatische Abschaltung. Wenn Sie das Gerät weiter benutzen möchten, schalten Sie das Gerät kurz aus und sofort wieder ein.

Bedienung
Ein-/Ausschalten
HINWEIS
Die Heizplatten 5 müssen frei von Verschmutzungen sein. Reinigen Sie
►
diese vor Benutzung gegebenenfalls (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung“).
Das Gerät ist durch die Verriegelung 3 gesichert. Drücken Sie die Heizplatten
5 zusammen und ziehen Sie die Verriegelung 3 heraus. Der Haarglätter lässt
sich nun weit öff nen.
1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
2) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter 1 nach vorne (Ein/1). Die Indikationsleuchte 2 beginnt rot zu blinken und zeigt so das Aufheizen an.
Nach ca. 1 Minute ist der Haarglätter aufgeheizt und die Indikationsleuchte
2 leuchtet dauerhaft rot.
3) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter 1 nach hinten (Aus/0), wenn Sie mit
dem Styling der Haare fertig sind. Die Indikationsleuchte 2 erlischt.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.

Haare glätten
1) Bereiten Sie das Haar, wie unter „Vor dem Glätten“ beschrieben, vor.
2) Fangen Sie mit den unteren Haarpartien am Hinterkopf an. Arbeiten Sie sich
über die Seiten nach vorne:
Teilen Sie eine ca. 2 cm breite Haarsträhne ab und klemmen Sie das Ende
am Haaransatz straff zwischen Zeige- und Mittelfi nger der Hand, mit der Sie
nicht den Haarglätter führen.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie mit den Heizplatten 5 nicht die Kopfhaut be-
rühren. Verbrennungsgefahr! Sie dürfen während des Betriebes das Gerät
nur am Griff anfassen! Verbrennungsgefahr!
3) Klemmen Sie die Haarsträhne nahe der Kopfhaut zwischen die Heizplatten 5
und drücken Sie diese zusammen.
4) Ziehen Sie die ganze Haarsträhne durch die Heizplatten 5, indem Sie den
Haarglätter zügig vom Haaransatz zu den Spitzen nach unten ziehen.
5) Verfahren Sie so mit jeder einzelnen Strähne.
6) Wenn Sie alle Strähnen geglättet haben, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
7) Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
8) Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 5 zusammen und schieben Sie die Verriegelung 3
wieder rein.

Reinigung
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät bei der Reinigung keinesfalls in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten tauchen!
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung ausreichend abkühlen.
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel oder Lösemittel. Diese

könnten die Oberfl äche beschädigen.
1) Wischen Sie das Gehäuse und die Heizplatten 5 mit einem feuchten Tuch
ab.
2) Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel
auf das Tuch. Entfernen Sie Reinigungsmittelrückstände mit einem mit Wasser
befeuchteten Tuch.
3) Lassen Sie das Gerät gut trocknen, bevor Sie es wieder verwenden.
Aufbewahren
■ Legen Sie das Gerät zum Auskühlen immer auf eine hitzeunempfi ndliche
Oberfl äche.
■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse 4 aufhängen.

Wenn Sie das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht benutzen:
■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trocknen und sauberen Ort auf.
