nungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise
für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung
des Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie
das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche.

Dieses Gerät ist nur zum Beheizen von geschlossenen Räumen bestimmt und nur
für den privaten Gebrauch vorgesehen. Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung in
Räumen vorgesehen in denen besondere Bedingungen vorherrschen, wie z. B.
korrosive oder explosionsfähige Atmosphäre (Staub, Dampf oder Gas). Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien. Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende
Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheit
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem
Gerät. Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.
Gerät nicht abdecken!
Abdecken des Gerätes kann zur Überhitzung und
somit zur Entstehung eines Brandes führen!
Achtung! Heiße Oberfl äche!
Dieses Symbol warnt vor heißen Oberfl ächen am
Gerät. Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr!
Gefahr durch elektrischen Strom
GEFAHR
Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Strom!
Beim Kontakt mit unter Spannung stehenden Leitungen oder
Bauteilen besteht Lebensgefahr!
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um eine Gefährdung durch
elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden:
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn die Netzanschlussleitung oder der
Stecker beschädigt sind.
► Lassen Sie vor der Weiterbenutzung des Gerätes eine neue Netzanschluss-
leitung durch eine autorisierte Fachkraft installieren.
► Öff nen Sie auf keinen Fall das Gehäuse des Gerätes. Werden spannungs-
führende Anschlüsse berührt und der elektrische und mechanische Aufbau
verändert, besteht Stromschlaggefahr.
Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die
folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:
■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere
sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes oder
heruntergefallenes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
■ Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt
ist/wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifi zierte Person ersetzt werden,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie
von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht
mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen
nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
■ Kinder jünger als 3 Jahre sind fernzuhalten, es sei denn sie
werden ständig überwacht.
■ Kinder ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen das Gerät
nur ein- und ausschalten, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen
wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden
haben, vorausgesetzt, dass das Gerät in seiner normalen
Gebrauchslage platziert oder installiert ist. Kindern ab 3 Jahren
und jünger als 8 Jahre dürfen nicht den Stecker in die Steckdose
stecken, das Gerät nicht regulieren, das Gerät nicht reinigen
und/oder nicht die Wartung durch den Benutzer durchführen.
■ Vorsicht – Einige Teile des Produktes können sehr heiß wer-
den und Verbrennungen verursachen. Besondere Vorsicht
ist geboten, wenn Kinder und schutzbedürftige Personen
anwesend sind.
■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten
Fachbetrieben oder dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch
unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren
für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
■ Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile
ausgetauscht werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet,
dass die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllt werden.
■ Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen
von Flüssigkeiten.
■ Die Netzanschlussleitung immer am Anschlussstecker aus
der Steckdose ziehen, nicht an der Anschlussleitung.
■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von off enen Flammen betreiben.

■ Das Gerät darf nicht unmittelbar unter oder über einer Wand-
steckdose platziert werden.
■ Bei auftretenden Störungen und bei Gewitter den Anschluss-
stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
■ Das Gerät darf nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Bade-
wanne, einer Dusche oder eines Schwimmbeckens benutzt
werden.
Inbetriebnahme
Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

▯ Diese Bedienungsanleitung
HINWEIS
Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
►
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS
Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit

des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken
zu können.

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort
folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
■ Das Gerät muss auf einem festen, fl achen und waagerechten Boden aufgestellt
werden.
■ Es sind zum Gehäuse Mindestabstände von 30 cm seitlich, 30 cm nach oben,
30 cm nach hinten und 100 cm nach vorne einzuhalten.
■ Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten Umgebung
oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material auf.
■ Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass die Netzanschlussleitung
notfalls leicht abgezogen werden kann.
■ Umgebungs-Temperaturbereich: 0 bis +40°C
■ Luftfeuchtigkeit (keine Kondensation): 5 - 75 %
GEFAHR
Brandgefahr durch Materialkontakt!
Beim Kontakt des Gerätes mit brennbaren Materialien besteht
Brandgefahr!
► Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Vorhängen und anderen
brennbaren Materialien auf.
► Vermeiden Sie Berührungskontakt von brennbaren Materialien
(z.B. Textilien) mit dem Gerät.
► Decken Sie das Gerät nicht ab.

Vor dem Erstgebrauch
■ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und alle Transportsicherungen vom
Gerät.
HINWEIS
Beim Erstgebrauch kann es kurzzeitig zu leichter Geruchsbildung kommen.

Elektrischer Anschluss
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise:
ACHTUNG
Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten
►
(Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am
Gerät auftreten.
► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Netzanschlussleitung unbeschädigt ist und
nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nicht straff gespannt
oder geknickt wird.
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose.

Bedienung und Betrieb
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und Betrieb des
Gerätes.
Betriebsschalter
Der Betriebsschalter 2 hat 4 Positionen und schaltet den Ventilator und die
Heizstufen ein und aus.
Temperaturregler

= Gerät ausgeschaltet
= nur Ventilator
= Ventilator und Heizstufe 1
= Ventilator und Heizstufe 2
Der Temperaturregler 3 ist stufenlos einstellbar. Durch
Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn wird eine höhere Temperatur
eingestellt, durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn wird
eine niedrigere Temperatur eingestellt.

Heizbetrieb
♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Betriebsschalter 2 auf der Position 0 (aus) steht.
♦ Wenn das Gerät zum ersten Mal in Betrieb genommen wird oder wenn
Sie die gewünschte Temperatur erneut einstellen möchten, drehen Sie den
Temperaturregler
♦ Stellen Sie mit dem Betriebsschalter 2 die gewünschte Betriebsart ein.

Temperatur einstellen
♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 zuerst auf die Max-Position.
♦ Hat der Raum die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht, drehen Sie langsam den
Temperaturregler 3 gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, bis ein leichtes Klick-Geräusch
zu hören ist. Dies bedeutet, dass das Heizelement abgeschaltet ist.
♦ Das Heizelement wird jetzt vom Thermostat automatisch ein- und ausge-
schaltet und die Temperatur wird konstant gehalten.
HINWEIS
Der Ventilator läuft weiter, wenn der Thermostat das Heizelement aus-
►
geschaltet hat. Das Gerät bewegt so die Luft im Raum und kann optimal
feststellen, ob sich der Raum abkühlt.
Überhitzungsschutz
Das Gerät ist mit einem thermostatgesteuerten Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet.
Wenn das Gerät intern zu heiß wird, schaltet sich das Heizelement automatisch
aus. Der Ventilator läuft jedoch weiter, damit eine schnelle Abkühlung erreicht
wird. Sobald sich das Gerät wieder abgekühlt hat, schaltet sich das Heizelement
selbstständig wieder ein.

WARNUNG
Überhitzung hat in der Regel einen Grund! Sie kann
Brandgefahr bedeuten!
► Kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät seine Wärme ausreichend abgeben kann:
Ist das Gerät abgedeckt oder steht es zu dicht an einer Wand oder einem
anderen Hindernis? Sind die Gitter an der Vorder- oder Rückseite frei?
Wird der Ventilator blockiert?
► Beseitigen Sie, wenn möglich, das Problem oder wenden Sie sich an die
Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service).
► Auch wenn Sie keine Ursache fi nden können, aber der Überhitzungsschutz
ein weiteres Mal auslöst, müssen Sie das Gerät zur Kontrolle bzw.
Reparatur an den Kundendienst schicken.

Reinigung
WARNUNG
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um Gefahren und Sachschäden
zu vermeiden:
► Reinigen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich im ausgeschaltetem und kalten
Zustand.
ACHTUNG
Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes.
Eindringende Feuchtigkeit kann zu einer Beschädigung des Gerätes führen.
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät
eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
■ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse ausschließlich mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch und
einem milden Spülmittel.
■ Entfernen Sie Staubablagerungen am Schutzgitter mit einem Staubsauger.
Lagerung
■ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden.
■ Lagern Sie das Gerät in einer trockenen Umgebung.
Entsorgung

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über
Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.

Fehlerbehebung
In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Störungslokalisierung und
Störungsbehebung.
WARNUNG
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um Gefahren und Sachschäden
zu vermeiden:
► Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten dürfen nur von Fachleuten durchgeführt werden,
die vom Hersteller geschult sind. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können
erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer und Schäden am Gerät entstehen.
Fehlerursachen und -behebung
Die nachfolgende Tabelle hilft bei der Lokalisierung und Behebung kleinerer
Störungen:

(poussière, vapeur ou gaz). N’utilisez pas l’appareil à l’extérieur. Tout usage divergent

Danger de mort par le courant électrique !
Il y a danger de mort en cas de contact avec des conduites ou
des pièces sous tension !
Veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes, pour éviter le risque d'un
choc électrique :
► Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si le cordon d'alimentation ou la fi che secteur sont
endommagés.
► Faire intervenir un électricien pour remettre à neuf l'alimentation électrique
de l'appareil.
► N'ouvrir en aucun cas le boîtier de l'appareil. Risque d'accident par choc
électrique en cas de contact avec une pièce sous tension ou de toute
modifi cation de la structure électrique ou mécanique de l'appareil.
Consignes de sécurité fondamentales
Pour assurer la manipulation de l'appareil en toute sécurité,
veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes :
■ Vérifi ez la présence de dommages visibles extérieurs avant
l'usage de l'appareil. Ne mettez pas en service un appareil
endommagé ou ayant subi une chute.
■ Lorsque le câble de raccordement de cet appareil est
endommagé, le faire remplacer par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou une personne qualifi ée afi n d'éviter tout
danger.

■ Les enfants à partir de l’âge de 8 ans ou les personnes souf-
frant d’un handicap physique ou psychomoteur ou encore
les personnes souff rant de défi ciences mentales ou d’un
manque de connaissances et d’expérience, doivent toujours
rester sous la surveillance d’un adulte s’ils utilisent cet appareil, même si l’usage de l’appareil leur a été expliqué et si
elles sont conscientes des dangers résultants. Ne pas laisser
les enfants jouer avec l’appareil. De même, ne pas laisser un
enfant eff ectuer un nettoyage ou une opération d’entretien
sans surveillance.
■ Les enfants âgés de moins de 3 ans doivent être tenus à
distance à moins d’être constamment surveillés.
■ Les enfants âgés de plus 3 ans et de moins de 8 ans pourront
uniquement allumer et éteindre l’appareil s’ils sont surveillés ou
s’ils ont reçu des instructions concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil
en toute sécurité et s’ils ont compris les dangers qui en résultent,
à condition que l’appareil soit placé ou installé dans sa situation d’usage normale. Les enfants âgés de plus de 3 ans et de
moins de 8 ans ne doivent pas insérer la fi che dans la prise
secteur, ne pas réguler l’appareil, ne pas nettoyer et/ou ne pas
eff ectuer la maintenance utilisateur.
■ Attention - Certaines pièces du produit peuvent devenir très
chaudes et provoquer des brûlures. Il faut user de précautions toutes particulières en présence d’enfants et de personnes vulnérables.
■ Confi ez les réparations sur l'appareil exclusivement à
des entreprises agréées ou au service après-vente. Toutes
réparations non conformes peuvent entraîner des danger
importants pour l'utilisateur. A cela s'ajoute l'expiration de la
garantie.
■ Les pièces défectueuses devront impérativement être rem-
placées par des pièces de rechange d'origine. Elles sont
en eff et les seules à pouvoir garantir que les exigences de
sécurité seront satisfaites.
■ Protéger l'appareil de l'humidité et de la pénétration de
liquides.

■ Débrancher l'appareil en tirant le connecteur de la prise
secteur, et non pas en tirant sur le câble.
■ Ne pas utiliser l'appareil à proximité de fl ammes ouvertes.
■ Ne pas placer l'appareil à proximité immédiate ou au des-
sous d'une prise électrique murale.
■ Débrancher l'appareil en cas de perturbations sur le réseau
ou par temps d'orage.
■ Ne pas faire fonctionner l'appareil à proximité immédiate
d'une baignoire, d'une douche ou d’une piscine.
Mise en service

L'appareil est équipé par défaut des composants suivants :

Vérifi ez que la livraison est bien complète et qu'elle ne présente pas de

dommages apparents.
► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage
défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service
après-vente (voir le chapitre Service après-vente).
Recyclage de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.
Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de
l'environnement et de recyclage, de sorte qu'ils peuvent être recyclés.
Le retour de l'emballage dans le cycle des matériaux permet d'économiser les
matières premières et réduit la formation de déchets. Recyclez les matériaux d'emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés en conformité avec les règles locales en vigueur.
REMARQUE
Dans la mesure du possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la

période sous garantie, afi n de pouvoir emballer l'appareil en bonne et
due forme pour l'expédition si vous étiez amené à faire valoir la garantie.

Conditions pour la mise en place
Prendre en compte les points suivants pour la mise en place et s'assurer d'un
fonctionnement sans incident :
■ L'appareil doit être installé sur un sol solide, plat et horizontal.
■ Il faut respecter une distance minimale de 30 cm avec les côtés, de 30 cm avec
le haut, de 30 cm vers l'arrière et de 100 cm vers l'avant.
■ Ne pas installer l’appareil dans un environnement chaud, humide ou à proximité
de matériaux infl ammables.
■ La prise électrique doit être facilement accessible : on doit pouvoir débrancher
rapidement en cas d'urgence.
■ Plage de température ambiante : 0 à +40°C
■ Humidité ambiante (sans condensation): 5 - 75 %

► Ne pas installer l'appareil à proximité de rideaux ou de matériaux

Raccordement électrique
Suivre les recommandations suivantes concernant le raccordement électrique
pour un fonctionnement de l'appareil sans incident :

Avant de brancher l'appareil, comparer les données (tension, fréquence)
►
sur la plaque signalétique avec les caractéristiques du réseau. Les valeurs
doivent être compatibles pour éviter des incidents.
► S'assurer que le câble d'alimentation n'est pas endommagé, qu'il ne repose
pas sur des surfaces chaudes ou des arêtes vives.
► Prendre garde que le câble d'alimentation ne soit pas tendu ou maintenu
dans une position qui le déforme.

Fonctionnement et opération
Ce chapitre contient des remarques importantes sur le fonctionnement et l'opération de l'appareil.
Interrupteur de service
L'interrupteur de service 2 a 4 positions pour allumer et éteindre le ventilateur et
les degrés de chauff age.

Régulateur de température

Le régulateur de température 3 peut être réglé en
continu. Il suffi t de tourner dans le sens des aiguilles
d'une montre pour régler une température supérieure,
en tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une
montre, une température inférieure est réglée.

Chauff age
♦ Assurez-vous que l'interrupteur de service 2 se trouve en position 0 (arrêt).
♦ Lorsque l'appareil est mis en service pour la première fois ou si vous souhaitez
régler à nouveau la température souhaitée, mettez le régulateur de tempéra-

ture
en position MAX.
♦ Réglez le mode d'opération souhaité à l'aide de l'interrupteur de service 2.
Régler la température
♦ Tournez d'abord le régulateur de température 3 en position Max.
♦ Dès que la pièce a atteint la température souhaitée, tournez lentement
le régulateur de température 3 dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une
montre, jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez un léger clic. Cela signifi e que
l'élément chauff ant est désactivé.
♦ L'élément chauff ant est maintenant automatiquement allumé et éteint par
le thermostat et la température est maintenue à un niveau constant.
REMARQUE
Le ventilateur continue de fonctionner lorsque le thermostat a éteint l'élé-
►
ment chauff ant. L'appareil brasse l'air dans la pièce afi n de déterminer de
manière optimale si la pièce refroidit.
Protection contre la surchauff e
L’appareil est équipé d’une protection anti-surchauff e opérée par thermostat. Si
l’appareil devient trop chaud à l’intérieur, l’élément chauff ant s’éteint automatiquement. Le ventilateur continue toutefois de fonctionner, pour assurer un refroidissement rapide. Dès que l’appareil s’est à nouveau refroidi, l’élément chauff ant
s’enclenche à nouveau automatiquement.

AVERTISSEMENT
Tout signe de surchauff e a en règle générale une raison bien
précise ! Cela peut être le signe d'un risque d'incendie !
► Contrôlez si l'appareil est en mesure de diff user suffi samment sa chaleur :
l'appareil est-il recouvert ou est-il trop proche d'un mur ou d'un autre
obstacle ? Les grilles à l'avant et à l'arrière sont-elles libres ? Le ventilateur
est-il bloqué ?
► Dans la mesure du possible, veuillez éliminer le problème ou adressez-vous
à la hotline du service après-vente (cf. le chapitre Service après-vente).
► Si vous ne parvenez pas à trouver de cause, mais que la protection anti-
surchauff e se déclenche une nouvelle fois, vous devez envoyer l'appareil
au contrôle ou à la réparation au service après-vente.

Nettoyage
AVERTISSEMENT
Respectez les consignes de sécurité suivantes pour éviter tous dangers et dommages matériels :
► Toujours faire le nettoyage lorsque l'appareil est hors tension et froid.
ATTENTION
Dommages potentiels sur l'appareil.
La pénétration d'humidité peut endommager l'appareil.
► Assurez-vous lors du nettoyage qu'aucune humidité ne pénètre dans l'appa-
reil pour éviter tous dommages irréparables sur l'appareil.
■ Nettoyer le boîtier exclusivement à l'aide d'un chiff on humidifi é et d'un détergent
doux.
■ Éliminer avec un aspirateur les dépôts de poussières sur la grille de protection.
Entreposage
■ Débrancher l'appareil si celui-ci ne doit pas être utilisé pour une longue période.
■ Entreposer l'appareil dans un local à l'abri de l'humidité.
Mise au rebut
L'appareil ne doit jamais être jeté dans la poubelle domestique
normale. Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Remettez l'appareil destiné au recyclage à une entreprise spécialisée ou au
centre de recyclage de votre commune. Respectez la réglementation en vigueur.
En cas de doutes, contactez votre centre d'élimination des déchets.

Veuillez conserver le ticket de caisse en guise de preuve d’achat. Dans le cas où la
garantie s’applique, veuillez appeler le service après-vente compétent. Cette condition doit être respectée pour assurer l’expédition gratuite de votre marchandise.

Cette garantie concerne uniquement les vices de fabrication et ne couvre

pas les dommages de transport, les pièces d'usure ou les dommages subis
par des éléments fragiles, par ex. le commutateur ou les accus.
Ce matériel est exclusivement destiné à un usage privé et non commercial.
La garantie est annulée en cas d’utilisation incorrecte et inappropriée, d’utilisation
brutale et en cas d’intervention qui n’aurait pas été réalisée par un centre de

Questo apparecchio è idoneo unicamente a riscaldare ambienti chiusi ed è
destinato solo all'uso privato. L'apparecchio non è destinato all'uso in ambienti
nei quali vi sono particolari condizioni, come ad esempio atmosfera corrosiva
o esplosiva (polvere, vapore o gas). Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'aperto.
Un uso diverso o esulante da quanto sopra è considerato non conforme.

In questo capitolo sono riportate importanti indicazioni di sicurezza per l'uso
dell'apparecchio.
Questo apparecchio corrisponde alle disposizioni di sicurezza prescritte.
L'uso non conforme può comportare danni a persone e a cose.

Non coprire l'apparecchio!
Se l'apparecchio viene coperto può surriscaldarsi e
dare luogo a un incendio!
Attenzione! Superfi cie rovente!
Questo simbolo avverte che la superfi cie dell'apparecchio potrebbe essere rovente! Sussiste il pericolo di
ustioni.
Pericolo collegato alla tensione elettrica
PERICOLO
Pericolo di morte a causa di scossa elettrica!
In caso di contatto con linee o elementi sotto tensione sussiste
il pericolo di morte!
Rispettare le seguenti indicazioni di sicurezza per evitare rischi collegati alla
presenza di tensione elettrica:
► Non utilizzare l'apparecchio in presenza di danni al cavo di connessione
o alla spina di rete.
► Prima dell'ulteriore impiego dell'apparecchio fare installare un nuovo cavo
di rete tramite personale specializzato.
► Non aprire assolutamente l'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio. In caso di
contatto con i collegamenti sotto tensione e modifi ca della struttura elettrica
e meccanica sussiste il pericolo di scossa elettrica.
Avvertenze fondamentali sulla sicurezza
Per l'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio, rispettare le seguenti avvertenze di sicurezza:
■ Controllare l'apparecchio prima dell'uso per rilevare even-
tuali danni visibili. Non mettere in funzione un apparecchio
danneggiato o caduto.
■ In caso di danni al cavo di collegamento dell'apparecchio,
farlo sostituire dal produttore o dal servizio di assistenza clienti o da personale altrettanto qualifi cato per evitare pericoli.

■ Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini di
almeno 8 anni di età e da persone con capacità fi siche,
sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insuffi ciente esperienza o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli associati.
I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio. La pulizia
e la manutenzione a cura dell'utente non devono essere
eseguite da bambini, a meno che non siano sorvegliati.
■ Tenere lontani i bambini di età inferiore a 3 anni, a meno
che non siano costantemente sorvegliati.
■ I bambini di età compresa tra 3 e 8 anni possono accendere e
spegnere l‘apparecchio solo se sono sorvegliati o se sono stati
istruiti in merito all‘uso sicuro dell‘apparecchio e hanno compreso i pericoli che esso comporta, a condizione che l‘apparecchio sia collocato o installato nella sua normale posizione di
utilizzo. I bambini di età compresa tra 3 e 8 anni non devono
infi lare la spina nella presa, regolare l‘apparecchio, pulirlo o
eseguire lavori di manutenzione a cura dell‘utente.
■ Attenzione – Alcuni componenti del prodotto potrebbero
diventare molto caldi e causare ustioni. Occorre prestare
particolare attenzione in presenza di bambini o persone che
necessitano di assistenza.
■ Fare eseguire le riparazioni solo da aziende specializzate
o dall'assistenza ai clienti. Le riparazioni eff ettuate in modo
non conforme possono causare gravi pericoli per l'utente.
Inoltre la garanzia decade.
■ I componenti guasti devono venire sostituiti esclusivamente
da pezzi di ricambio originali. Solo con questi pezzi di ricambio è garantita la conformità ai requisiti di sicurezza.
■ Proteggere l'apparecchio dall'umidità e dalla penetrazione
di liquidi.
■ Tirare sempre dalla spina e mai dal cavo per disconnettere
dalla presa di rete.
■ Non utilizzare l'apparecchio nelle vicinanze di fi amme
libere.

■ Non collocare l'apparecchio direttamente sotto o sopra una
presa a parete.
■ In caso di comparsa di guasti e in presenza di un temporale,
scollegare la spina dalla presa.
■ Non utilizzare l'apparecchio nelle immediate vicinanze di
una vasca, di una doccia o di una piscina.
Messa in funzione
Volume della fornitura e ispezione per eventuali danni
da trasporto
La fornitura standard dell'apparecchio comprende i seguenti componenti:
▯ Generatore di aria calda
▯ Le presenti istruzioni per l'uso
AVVERTENZA
Controllare se la fornitura è integra e se presenta danni visibili.
►
► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o da
imballaggio inadeguato, rivolgersi alla hotline di assistenza (v. il capitolo
Assistenza).
Smaltimento della confezione
L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio dai danni da trasporto. I materiali di
imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle
caratteristiche di smaltimento e pertanto sono riciclabili.
Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di rifi uti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità
alle norme vigenti localmente.

Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia, se possibile, conservare

l'imballaggio originale per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio
in caso di intervento in garanzia.

Requisiti del luogo d'installazione
Per l'uso sicuro e privo di guasti dell'apparecchio, il luogo di installazione deve
adempiere ai seguenti requisiti:
■ L'apparecchio deve trovarsi su una superfi cie stabile, piana e orizzontale.
■ Si devono rispettare distanze minime dall'alloggiamento di 30 cm di lato, 30 cm
verso l'alto, 30 cm dietro e 100 cm in avanti.
■ Non collocare l'apparecchio in un ambiente surriscaldato, bagnato o molto
umido, o nelle vicinanze di materiale infi ammabile.
■ La presa di rete deve essere facilmente accessibile per consentire la disconnes-
sione immediata del cavo di rete in caso di emergenza.
■ Intervallo di temperatura ambientale: da 0 a +40°C
■ Umidità dell'aria (nessuna condensa): 5 - 75 %
PERICOLO
Pericolo di incendio in caso di contatto con materiali!
Il contatto dell'apparecchio con materiali infi ammabili può dare
luogo a un incendio!
► Non collocare l'apparecchio nelle vicinanze di tende o altri materiali
infi ammabili.
► Evitare il contatto dell'apparecchio con materiali infi ammabili (ad es. tessuti).
► Non coprire mai l'apparecchio!
Prima della prima messa in funzione
■ Rimuovere tutto il materiale di imballaggio e i blocchi di trasporto dall'apparecchio.

Connessione elettrica
Per un impiego sicuro e privo di guasti dell'apparecchio rispettare le seguenti
indicazioni per la connessione alla rete elettrica:
ATTENZIONE
Prima di connettere l'apparecchio, confrontare i dati di connessione (tensione

e frequenza) indicati sulla targhetta dell'apparecchio con quelli della rete
elettrica. Questi dati devono corrispondere, per evitare di arrecare danni
all'apparecchio.
► Assicurarsi che il cavo di rete non sia danneggiato e non venga posato su
superfi ci bollenti e/o bordi acuminati.
► Assicurarsi che il cavo di rete non sia in tensione o non sia schiacciato.
♦ Inserire la spina elettrica in una presa di corrente.

Comandi e funzionamento
In questo capitolo sono riportate indicazioni importanti relative ai comandi e al
funzionamento dell'apparecchio.
Interruttore di esercizio
L'interruttore di esercizio 2 ha 4 posizioni e accende e spegne il ventilatore e le
fasi di riscaldamento.
Regolatore della temperatura
Il regolatore della temperatura 3 è impostabile gradual-
mente. Ruotando in senso orario viene impostata una
temperatura maggiore, ruotando in senso antiorario
viene impostata una temperatura inferiore.

Modalità di riscaldamento
♦ Assicurarsi che l'interruttore di esercizio 2 si trovi in posizione 0 (off ).
♦ Se l'apparecchio viene messo in funzione per la prima volta o se si desidera
reimpostare la temperatura desiderata, ruotare completamente il regolatore
della temperatura
♦ Impostare con l'interruttore di esercizio 2 la modalità di esercizio desiderata.

Impostare la temperatura
♦ Ruotare dapprima il regolatore della temperatura 3 sulla posizione Max.
♦ Se l'ambiente ha raggiunto la temperatura desiderata, ruotare lentamente
il regolatore della temperatura 3 in senso antiorario fi no a quando non si
sente un lieve clic. Ciò signifi ca che l'elemento di riscaldamento è disattivato.
♦ L'elemento di riscaldamento viene ora attivato e disattivato automaticamente
dal termostato e la temperatura viene mantenuta costante.
AVVERTENZA
Il ventilatore continua a funzionare anche quando il termostato ha spento
►
l'elemento di riscaldamento. L'apparecchio mette così in movimento l'aria
presente nel locale e può rilevare in modo ottimale se il locale si sta
raff reddando.
Protezione dal surriscaldamento
L'apparecchio è dotato di un dispositivo di protezione dal surriscaldamento
comandato da termostato. Quando l'apparecchio si surriscalda internamente,
l'elemento riscaldante si spegne automaticamente. Il ventilatore continua però
a funzionare affi nché si ottenga un più rapido raff reddamento. Non appena
l'apparecchio viene di nuovo raff reddato, l'elemento riscaldante si riaccende
automaticamente.

AVVERTENZA
In genere vi è un motivo per il surriscaldamento! Può signifi care
pericolo di incendio!
► Controllare se l'apparecchio può scaricare adeguatamente il calore: L'appa-
recchio è coperto o se è collocato troppo vicino a una parete o un altro
ostacolo? Le griglie sul lato anteriore e sul retro sono libere? Il ventilatore
è bloccato?
► Eliminare se possibile il problema o rivolgersi al servizio di assistenza
(vedere capitolo Assistenza).
► Anche se non riuscite a trovare la causa, ma la protezione contro il surri-
scaldamento si attiva di nuovo, è necessario far controllare o riparare
l'apparecchio dal servizio clienti.

Pulizia
AVVERTENZA
Rispettare le seguenti indicazioni di sicurezza per evitare pericoli e danni
materiali:
► pulire l'apparecchio esclusivamente quando è spento e raff reddato.
ATTENZIONE
Possibile danneggiamento dell'apparecchio.
L'infi ltrazione di umidità può provocare danni all'apparecchio.
► Per evitarne l'irreparabile danneggiamento, assicurarsi che durante la
pulizia non penetri umidità nell'apparecchio.
■ Pulire l'alloggiamento esclusivamente con un panno leggermente inumidito e
un detergente delicato.
■ Rimuovere depositi di polvere sulla griglia di protezione con un aspirapolvere.
Conservazione
■ Staccare la spina dalla presa se l'apparecchio non viene usato per un lungo
periodo di tempo.
■ Conservare l'apparecchio in un ambiente asciutto.
Smaltimento

Non smaltire per alcun motivo l'apparecchio assieme ai normali
rifi uti domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea
2012/19/EU-RAEE (Rifi uti da apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche).
Smaltire l'apparecchio attraverso un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o attraverso l'ente di smaltimento comunale. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore.
In caso di dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento competente.

Eliminazione dei guasti
In questo capitolo sono riportate importanti informazioni per l'individuazione
ed eliminazione dei guasti.
AVVERTENZA
Rispettare le seguenti indicazioni di sicurezza per evitare pericoli e danni
materiali:
► Le riparazioni agli apparecchi elettrici devono essere eseguite solo da
personale specializzato addestrato dal produttore. Le riparazioni non
eseguite a regola d'arte possono causare gravi pericoli per l'utente e danni
all'apparecchio.

tions are a part of this product. They contain important information in regard to
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all of

only for the specifi ed areas of application. In addition, pass these documents on,

for domestic use. This appliance is not intended for use in areas where special
conditions may apply, such as corrosive or potentially explosive atmospheres
(dust, vapour or gas). Do not use the appliance outdoors. This appliance is not
intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned.
Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be accepted.

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling
of the appliance.
This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can
lead to personal injury and property damage.

Contact with wires or components that are under voltage could

Pay heed to the following safety instructions to avoid risks from electrical current:
► Do not use the appliance if the mains power cable or the plug is damaged.
► Before putting the appliance back into service have a new mains power
cable installed by an authorised specialist.
► Under no circumstances should you open the appliance housing. There
is a risk of receiving an electric shock if voltage carrying connections are
touched or the electrical and/or mechanical construction is changed.
Basic Safety Instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following
safety information:
■ Before use check the appliance for visible external damage.
Do not put into operation an appliance that is damaged or
has been dropped.
■ If the appliance‘s mains power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer‘s customer
service department or by a qualifi ed technician, so that risks
can be prevented.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they
are under supervision or have been told how to use of the
appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children unless
they are supervised.
■ Children younger than three years old should be kept away
from the appliance unless they are constantly monitored.
■ Children older than 3 and younger 8 years of age may only
switch the appliance on and off if they are supervised or
instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood
the resulting dangers, provided that the appliance is located or
installed in its normal operating position. Children older than 3
and younger than 8 years of age may not plug in, regulate or
clean the appliance and may not carry out user maintenance
tasks.
■ Caution – some parts of the product may be very hot and
cause burns. Be particularly careful when children and vulnerable persons are present.
■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist
companies or by the Customer Service Department. Incompetent repairs can result in signifi cant risks for the user. In
addition, warranty claims become void.
■ Defective components may only be replaced with original
replacement parts. Only by using original replacement parts
can it be assured that the safety requirements are being
complied with.
■ Protect the appliance against moisture and liquid penetration.
■ Always disconnect the power cable from the mains power
socket with the plug, never pull on the cable.
■ Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of open fl ames.
■ The appliance must not be placed immediately under or over
a mains power socket.

■ In the event of malfunctions and during thunderstorms dis-
connect the plug from the mains power socket.
■ The appliance must not be used in the immediate vicinity of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material
and reduces generated waste. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer
needed according to the regionally established regulations.

If possible, preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appli-
ance ideally for its return.

Requirements on the set-up location
For safe and faultless operation of the appliance the set-up location must satisfy
the following criteria:
■ The appliance must be placed on a fi rm, fl at and horizontal surface.
■ Minimum spacings to the housing of 30 cm to the sides, 30 cm above, 30 cm
to the rear and 100 cm to the front must be maintained.
■ Do not place the appliance in a hot, wet or very moist environment or in the
vicinity of fl ammable materials.
■ The mains power socket must be easily accessable so that, in an emergency,
the mains power cable can be easily disconnected.
■ Environment temperature range: 0 to +40°C
■ Humidity (no condensation): 5 - 75 %
DANGER
Fire risk through contact with materials!
The risk of fi re exists if the heating elements come into contact
with fl ammable materials!
► Do not place the appliance in the vicinity of curtains and other fl ammable
materials.
► Do not allow fl ammable materials (i.e. draperies) to come into contact
with the appliance.
► Do not cover the appliance.
Before initial use
■ Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing appliances from the
appliance.

Electrical connection
For safe and faultless operation of the appliance after electrical connection
observe the following advice:

Before connecting the appliance compare the connection data (voltage

and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your mains power supply.
This data must be in agreement so as to avoid damage to the appliance.
► Make sure that the mains power cable is not damaged and is not running
over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges.
► Make sure that the mains power cable is not stretched or knotted.
♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

Handling and operation
In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation
of the appliance.
Operating switch
The operating switch 2 has 4 positions and switches the ventilator and the
heating levels on and off .
= Appliance switched off
= only ventilator
= Ventilator and heating level 1
= Ventilator and heating level 2
Temperature regulator

The temperature regulator 3 is steplessly adjustable.
By turning it clockwise a higher temperature is set, by
turning it anti-clockwise a lower temperature will be set.

Heating operation
♦ Ensure that the operating switch 2 is at position 0 (off ).
♦ If the appliance is being taken into service for the fi rst time or if you want
to reset the desired temperature, turn the temperature control
MAX position.
♦ Set the operating switch 2 to the desired operating mode.
Setting the temperature
♦ Turn the temperature regulator 3 fi rstly to the Max position.
♦ When the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly turn the
temperature regulator 3 anti-clockwise until a slight click sound is heard.
This means that the heating element is now switched off .
♦ The heating element is now switched on and off automatically by the
thermostat and the temperature is kept constant.
NOTICE
The ventilator continues to run when the temperature regulator has switched
►
the heating element off . The appliance thus circulates the air in the room
and so determines optimally, if the room. has cooled
Overheating protection
The appliance is fi tted with a temperature regulator controlled overheating protector.
Should the appliance become too hot internally, the heating element switches
itself off automatically. However, the fan continues to run, so that a rapid cooling
can be achieved. Once the appliance has cooled itself down, the heating element switches back on automatically.

WARNING
As a general rule, overheating has a reason! It can mean a risk
of fi re!
► Check that the appliance can suffi ciently disburse the heat generated:
Is the appliance covered or is it too close to a wall or other obstacle?
Are the grilles on the front or back clear? Is the ventilator blocked?
► If possible, eliminate the problem or contact the Service Hotline
(see Chapter Service).
► Even if you cannot fi nd a cause, but the overheating protection triggers
a second time, you must return the appliance to Customer Services for
inspection or repair.

Cleaning
WARNING
Observe the following safety information to avoid risks and property damage:
► Only clean the appliance when it is switched off and cold.
IMPORTANT
Possible damage to the appliance.
Penetrating moisture can lead to the appliance becoming damaged.
► When you are cleaning the appliance ensure that no moisture can get
inside, so as to avoid irreparable damage to it.
■ Clean the housing exclusively with a soft damp cloth and a mild dishwashing liquid.
■ Remove dust deposits on the protective screen with a vacuum cleaner.
Storage
■ Disconnect the mains power plug if you do not intend to use the appliance for an
extended period of time.
■ Store the appliance in a dry environment.
Disposal
Do not dispose of this appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before
delivery.

in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and
