THESE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION
AND MUST BE KEPT WITH THE CHILD RESTRAINT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. STORE IN THE POCKET PROVIDED.
Check your infant car seat for cuts and bruises. If your product is damaged in any way, or you’re not sure how to use it, please consult our web support from where you can access a local customer care team.
Read all these instructions carefully and if there is any doubt about the method of installation, consult a child restraint manufacturer or agent, or a child restraint fitting station authorised by the relevant transport authority, or in Australia an agent for the vehicle.

Checklist - Use
This Child Restraint is suitable for children up to approximately 6 months of age. See page 6 for more detailed information.
Shoulder Straps - must always
be at correct height and pulled tight. Pages 13 -16

WARNINGS
• Use the restraint exactly as shown in the
instructions.
• Supervision of children is needed be-
cause they may be able to undo buckles.
• To ensure that baby's back is evenly sup-
ported, do not put more than one nappy
on the baby and make sure the nappy is
not folded thickly at the back.
• Do not allow the restraint to come into
contact with polishes, oils, bleach and
other chemicals.
• Destroy the restraint if it has been in a
severe crash, even if no damage is vis-
ible.
• Repairs must only be done by the manu-
facturer or agent.
• Fit the harness rmly to the child.
• A loose harness or restraint is dangerous.
• Fit the restraint rmly to the car seat.
• Do not alter or modify this restraint.
• This child restraint is not approved for
use with any connectors that connect to
the car’s ISOFIX low anchorages.
• Do not harness an infant wrapped in a
blanket or swaddled. Any blanket or wrap
must only be placed over the harness
and infant.
• DO NOT USE A REAR FACING CHILD
RESTRAINT WHERE AN AIRBAG IS
FITTED IN FRONT OF THE SEATING
POSITION.
• DO NOT USE THIS RESTRAINT WITH-
OUT THE COVER.

ADDITIONAL WARNINGS
This Child Restraint is:
To be used only in a rearward-facing position until the infant's shoulders reach the shoulder height marker (ap­proximately 6 months of age). Continue to use this infant restraint until the child reaches this limit. Infants are at risk of serious injury if they face forward too early.
TO BE USED WITH A LAP-SASH/LAP ONLY SEAT BELT IN THE BACK OF MOST CARS WITH FORWARD FACING SEATS.
This restraint is 710 mm long, 435 mm wide and 645 mm high (with the handle up). Check the measurement between the front of the seat back of the rear seat
and all front seats in the car in which the restraint is intended to be used to ensure the space available is sufficient.
Ensure that children have adequate venti­lation and shade when in the vehicle.
This child restraint is not approved for use with any connectors that connect to the car's ISOFIX low anchorages.
Read carefully the whole of the instruc­tions for the installation, and in the event of doubt about the method of installation, consult the child restraint manufacturer or agent, or a child restraint tting station au­thorized by the relevant transport author­ity, or in New Zealand, consult the agent for the vehicle.

THIS CHILD RESTRAINT MUST NEVER
BE USED ON A PASSENGER SEAT
EQUIPPED WITH AN AIRBAG.
Owners of vehicles with side airbags
should refer to their owner’s manual for
child restraint installation instructions.
IMPROPER USE OF THIS CHILD
RESTRAINT and base could increase
the risk of a serious injury or death in a
sudden stop or car crash.
FOR LOW BIRTH-WEIGHT INFANTS, for
infants who weigh less than 3.0 kg use of
the small baby insert is recommended.
IMPORTANT: because of potential medical
issues inherent in low birth weight and
premature infants, always have a doctor, or
hospital staff member assess the suitability
of the child restraint prior to leaving the
hospital or using the child restraint.
Do not leave your child in this restraint for
an extended period of time.
WARNING
DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED IN THE CAR

WHEN NOT USED IN A VEHICLE
NEVER LEAVE child unattended.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD: A child restraint
can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate
child. NEVER place a child restraint on
beds, sofas or other soft surfaces.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can
strangle in loose restraint straps. Always
use harness. NEVER leave child in child
restraint when straps are loose or undone.
Children have STRANGLED in loose or
partially buckled harness straps. Fully
restrain the child even when child restraint
is used outside the vehicle.
FALL HAZARD: Child’s movements can
slide the child restraint. NEVER place the
child restraint near edges of counter tops,
tables, or other elevated surfaces.
DO NOT use on shopping carts.
WHEN USING THIS CHILD RESTRAINT
WITH A STROLLER, ONLY USE with
phil&teds and Mountain Buggy strollers or
with an approved car seat adaptor. Refer
to your stroller USER GUIDE for child
restraint attachment instructions.
Always make sure the handle is properly
locked in the upright carrying position
before carrying a child in the child restraint.
A child restraint is not a baby minding
device. Only use it when travelling.

Shoulder Strap Height
TO CHECK: With a child placed in the restraint, note where the shoulder straps enter the slots in the backrest. If adjustment is needed follow these steps.
TO ADJUST: First press the front harness adjuster button to release the harness and pull it out.
Having the shoulder straps at the correct height is essential for your child's safety.
Requirement:
The shoulder straps must be in the slots that are nearest to the child's shoulders, but not lower than the height of the child's shoulders.

Then take the straps off the splitter plate located at the rear of the seat.
The straps can then be released from the splitter plate by sliding them out of the slots in the plate.
