GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

This document contains important information
and must be kept for future reference.

Please read thoroughly before commencing
usage as incorrect use can be dangerous.

Please register your product purchase through our online warranty

Only use the metro™ for children between

7.3kg/16lbs and 18kg/40lbs.

CLEANING & CARING

Check the metro™ for cuts & bruises. If your product
is damaged in any way, or you’re not sure how to use
it, please consult our web support (www.philandteds.
com/support).

Caring for metro™

Unlike children, your metro™ likes to stay clean.

• In case of little accidents, sponge wash with a
wet cloth. metro™ may be hand-washed

• Do not tumble dry. Do not use any solvent or
bleach based product. These may harm the
materials. Line dry.

• Dry metro™ thoroughly before storage. Store in
a well ventilated space away from direct sunlight
which could damage or fade metro's colourful
coat.

• NOTE: Improper care will void any warranties.
Do not use metro™ if deterioration is detected or
suspected.

IMPORTANT

• The metro™ is not for carrying the kitchen
sink! No hard or sharp objects please; they
hurt!

• It's important to t your child correctly in the
carrier.

• Adjust straps to rmly & securely t the body
of your child. This may need adjusting further if
additional clothes are added or removed.

• With the carrier fold-out base extended, place
the carrier on at, stable ground.

WARNINGS

American Safety Standard states:

Read all instructions before assembling and
using the frame child carrier.

• Do not use carrier with a child weighing less
than 16lb or more than 40 lb.

• Do not use carrier if child cannot sit upright
unassisted.

• Do not place carrier on counter tops, tables,
or other elevated surfaces.

• Check and ensure that all buckles, snaps,
straps, and adjustments are secure before
each use.

WARNING—FALL OR
STRANGULATION

HAZARD

Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out.
Always use child retention system.

WARNINGS

European safety standard EN 13209-2:2005
states:

• This carrier is intended from when the child
can sit-up unaided (approx 6 months old),
until a maximum weight of 18 kg.

• This carrier is intended for use with one
child at a time.

• WARNING: Do not leave the child
unattended in this carrier!

• WARNING: Do not use until the child can sit
unaided

• WARNING: When the child is in the carrier, it
could be in a position higher than the carer.
Care should therefore be taken to be aware
of hazards; e.g. door frames, low branches
of trees etc.

• WARNING: When using the carrier the carer
shall be aware of the following:

-The carer’s balance may be adversely
affected due to movement of the child and
also the carer;

-The carrier is suitable for use when
undertaking leisure activities but not for
sports activities;

-Care should be taken when putting on or
removing the carrier.

-The child’s harness in the carrier must be
securely fastened and adjusted

• The child in the carrier can become tired – it
is recommended that frequent breaks are
taken.

• Be aware that the child in the carrier may
suffer from the effect of the weather and
temperature before you do.

• Care should be taken to avoid injury to the

child’s feet when the carrier is on or near the
oor

• Only use accessories or replacement parts
provided by the manufacturer.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Vériez que le metro™ est sain et sauf et ne présente
aucune entaille. Si votre produit est endommagé ou
que vous n'êtes pas certain(e) de savoir l'utiliser,

Entretien du metro™

Au contraire des enfants, votre metro™ aime rester
propre.

• En cas de petits accidents, épongez-le avec un
chiffon humide. Le metro™ est lavable à la main.

• Ne le tordez pas pour l'essorer. Ne le mettez pas
au sèche-linge. N'utilisez aucun produit solvant
ou à base de Javel. Cela pourrait endommager
les matériaux. Suspendez-le pour le faire sécher.

• Assurez-vous que le metro™ soit bien sec avant
de le ranger. Rangez-le dans un endroit bien
aéré et à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil qui
pourrait endommager ou décolorer ses jolies
