My Personal Review: I love this stroller. I read probably a hundred or so reviews of it before purchasing - we have four kids - 5yrs and under - so we have had a few strollers and didn't want to waste valuable $$$ on something worthless. I have been using this stroller non-stop for 1 month now, and it's wonderful. I have had a Graco stroller, two chicco strollers, a BOB stroller and now this one. It is by far the best I have ever had.
PROS:
1. This is the first and only stroller I have ever seen that truly is a double stroller with a single stroller footprint. It takes up about the same footprint as our umbrella stoller. It can fit down store isles or across the grass at the park.
2. I can steer this with one hand, with any combination of my children in it my kids are 5yrs, 4yrs, 2yrs, 6wks... I have not had any problems steering or turning. It can turn on a dime too!
3. Easy to open and close - as easy as any other stroller I have ever tried.
4. I have the green color - it stands out so if I ever become separated from my pre-schoolers (or my husband) they can find me quickly and easily.
5. Kids like the harness - the older ones say the seats are comfy. The back seat is great. My kids argue over who "gets" to sit in back.
6. I can fold this down and get it into the car in about 10 secs. It takes up less room then our other single stroller did. I can actually fit groceries in the back of the van with the stroller in here. It is pretty light-weight.
7. Seat arrangements: we have used this in every arrangement possible and it is awesome! The seats can be re-arranged in less than a minute handy when out with four little ones!
8. I am using this with the cocoon for our infant a lot. Our toddler sits on the doubles seat in front. He loves it. Both of them tend to fall asleep instantly, so I assume the seats are comfortable. I carry the cocoon right into the house and our baby sleeps in here soundly and safely.
9. I usually don't care about things like this, but this is one cool looking stroller! I get stopped constantly by people asking about it and commenting on what a great design it is. I agree totally. We saw a family with this stroller a year or two ago, and we loved the design so much that we looked it up. At the time we didn't need another double stroller, but it was the first thing we thought of when I got pregnant again!
CONS:
1. no parent cup holder - or key/phone holder. Easily solved with the BOB stroller attachment. I love this holder and have used it on other strollers, it fits perfectly. But for the price of the stroller, you think they would have included this.
2. Sun visor - yes, it could be bigger. But it wouldn't have covered both kids so I needed to have them in hats anyway. Maybe they could improve this on future models.
3. Price: it is expensive. Make sure you shop around and get a deal. I paid $450 with the doubles kit and shipping included. All-in-all I think this stroller is well worth the money. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
4. Storage: when you have two toddlers in here you lose the basket underneath. I bought bags that velcro onto the sides. As a bonus, the bags have cup-holders on the ends so the kids (front & back) can keep their cups within easy reach. But again, this added to the cost.
5. You have to take off the second seat to fold it up. This adds 5 seconds to the taking-down/ putting up routine. Not a big deal to me, but some people might not like this.
Clarifications based on other reviews that obviously didn't read the manual:
1. I saw a lot of reviews that mentioned it was hard to assemble out of the box and that the picture diagram was the only help, and it was hard to follow with no written directions - HMMM I guess these people didn't open the user manual which gave explicit instructions and referred to the pictures for extra help.
2. I read low ratings that said it was hard to open/close? Again, read the manual! It is very easy and very fast. I have to buckle FOUR kids in the car
