ISTRUZIONI DʼUSO
PRIMO VIAGGIO SIP con ADJUSTABLE BASE Primo Viaggio SIP con Adjustable Base è il seggiolino omologato per auto Gruppo 0+, cioè
per bambini di peso da 0-13 kg (0-12/14 mesi).
•Primo Viaggio SIP è il seggiolino auto con Sistema Ganciomatic che può essere agganciato e sganciato dalla sua Base auto, dai passeggini e
carrelli "Peg Perego" con un gesto semplicissimo. 1• Per sganciare il seggiolino dalla sua base, occorre con una mano tirare verso l'alto la maniglia posta
dietro lo schienale e contemporaneamente con lʼaltra mano alzare il seggiolino verso l'alto.
2• Per agganciare il seggiolino, posizionarlo in corrispondenza degli agganci e spingerlo verso il basso con entrambe le mani fino al click.
CINTURINO DI SICUREZZA
3• Per agganciare il cinturino di sicurezza sovrapporre le due bretelle e inserirle nella fibbia del cinturino spartigambe fino al click.
4• Per sganciare il cinturino di sicurezza premere il pulsante rosso sulla fibbia del cinturino spartigambe.
5• Le bretelle del cinturino di sicurezza e il poggiatesta "Side Impact Protection" sono regolabili simultaneamente in altezza in 5 posizioni per seguire la crescita del bambino.
•Prima di regolare l'altezza del cinturino di sicurezza e del poggiatesta allentare la tensione delle bretelle.
•Per regolare l'altezza del cinturino di sicurezza e del poggiatesta, premere il pulsante posteriore del regolatore di altezza (posto sullo schienale del seggiolino) e contemporaneamente alzare
o abbassare nella posizione desiderata, assicurandosi del giusto posizionamento dal click.
6• La corretta regolazione del poggiatesta è dato dalla corretta posizione delle bretelle; le spalle del bambino devono essere appena sopra al punto di passaggio delle bretelle.
7• Per allentare la tensione delle bretelle del cinturino di sicurezza, infilare il dito nellʼasola della seduta, premere il bottone metallico e contemporaneamente con lʼaltra mano tirare in su le bretelle come in figura.
8• Per far aderire le bretelle del cinturino di sicurezza al bambino, tirare verso di sé la cintura di regolazione centrale come in figura, facendo attenzione a non stringere troppo le bretelle al bambino, lasciando un minimo di gioco.
CUSCINETTI DI PROTEZIONE
9• Per montare i cuscinetti di protezione delle spalle, aprire il velcro, posizionare sopra la bretella e richiudere lasciando il velcro verso l'esterno.
10• Per montare il cuscinetto di protezione del cinturino spartigambe, infilare la fibbia del cinturino spartigambe come in figura.
11• Il seggiolino viene fornito di un cuscino riduttore per il neonato, da togliere quando il bambino
è più grande. Per togliere il cuscino riduttore, sfilare il cinturino spartigambe.
MANIGLIONE
12• Il maniglione del seggiolino ha quattro regolazioni; per inclinarlo premere i due pulsanti posti sul maniglione e contemporaneamente, posizionarlo nella posizione desiderata fino a sentire il click di posizionamento.
Posizione A: è la posizione del maniglione in auto.
Posizione B: è la posizione del maniglione per il trasporto a mano e per lʼaggancio alla base, ai passeggini e ai carrelli.
Posizione C: è la posizione che permette al seggiolino di dondolare.
Posizione D: è la posizione che permette al seggiolino di non dondolare.
CAPOTTINA
13• Per montare la capottina, inserire gli attacchi di questa nelle sedi del seggiolino e sistemare la parte posteriore della capottina dietro lo
schienale.
14• Per abbassare o alzare la capottina, spingerla indietro o in avanti.
•ATTENZIONE: La capottina non deve essere usata per sollevare il seggiolino, pericolo di distacco.
15• Per togliere la capottina, premere sui pulsanti degli attacchi di questa e contemporaneamente alzare la capottina.
SFODERABILITÁ
16• Per sfoderare il poggiatesta, tirare verso il basso la fodera del poggiatesta per sfilarla dalla sua struttura, togliere la fodera e sfilare le bretelle della cintura di sicurezza.
17• Per sfoderare il seggiolino, svitare la struttura del poggiatesta, facendo attenzione a conservare le viti.
18• Sfilare le alette di fissaggio della sacca da sotto il seggiolino e sfilare il cinturino spartigambe.
ISTRUZIONI DʼUSO IN AUTO
IMPORTANTE:
19•Il seggiolino “Primo Viaggio SIP” è certificato per un uso con Base "Adjustable Base" o senza. L'uso della Base in auto garantisce maggior sicurezza. Si raccomanda di usare in auto il seggiolino senza Base solo in caso di necessità.
•Il seggiolino “Primo Viaggio SIP” può essere fissato sul sedile anteriore se è sprovvisto di AIRBAG o sul sedile posteriore. Non è consentito agganciare il seggiolino con la cintura auto a due punti/addominale perchè non permette la sicurezza del seggiolino. É
consentito agganciare il seggiolino solo con la cintura auto a tre punti (come disegno).
SEQUENZA DI POSIZIONAMENTO DELLA BASE IN
AUTO
20• Posizionare la Base sul sedile. Siccome i sedili delle automobili non hanno mai tutti la stessa inclinazione, grazie alla Base regolabile in
altezza "Adjustable Base" è possibile mantenere il seggiolino in una corretta posizione, quindi parallela al suolo.
•Per sapere se lʼinclinazione della Base è corretta, occorre che la bolla nell'indicatore sia interamente visibile.
•Per regolare lʼinclinazione, occorre con una mano ruotare la manopola A e con lʼaltra spingere verso il basso B per simulare il peso del bambino nel seggiolino fino a quando la bolla sarà interamente
visibile nell'indicatore.
21• Infilare la cinghia della cintura di sicurezza dellʼauto nelle due guide laterali della Base.
22• Agganciare la fibbia della cintura dellʼauto al sedile come in figura.
23• Se il vostro veicolo é equipaggiato con una cintura che consente il libero scorrimento della fibbia di aggancio (come nella maggior parte dei veicoli attuali) é necessario applicare la “Surefix Clip”. Lʼutilizzo della “Surefix Clip” assicura il Seggiolino alla Base in modo corretto.
• Rimuovere la “Surefix Clip” dalla sua sede come in figura.
24• Impugnare la cinghia dorsale della cintura di sicurezza dellʼauto (la cinghia libera) appena sopra la fibbia e tirarla per tenerla ben tesa e infilare la “Surefix Clip” nella cinghia libera, come mostra la sequenza. La “Surefix Clip” deve bloccare la tensione della cinghia (una volta montata correttamente la “Surefix Clip”,
è possibile lasciarla montata alla cinghia della cintura di sicurezza dellʼauto per facilitare le operazioni di aggancio della Base).
25• Una volta montata la "Surefix Clip" controllare nuovamente l'inclinazione della base e nel caso la bolla non sia interamente visibile nell'indicatore, girare nuovamente la manopola, mandando in tensione la cinghia.
•La base é pronta allʼaggancio del seggiolino. SEQUENZA DI POSIZIONAMENTO DEL SEGGIOLINO
SULLA BASE IN AUTO
26• Sistemare il vostro bambino nel seggiolino
ricordandovi di assicurarlo con il cinturino di sicurezza.
•In auto il seggiolino deve essere installato in senso contrario rispetto alla direzione di marcia.
•Impugnare il seggiolino e agganciarlo alla base premendo con entrambe le mani sul prodotto fino al click.
27• In auto il maniglione deve essere assolutamente abbassato totalmente in avanti a toccare
lo schienale del sedile auto come in figura. Posizionare il maniglione in avanti assicurandosi del giusto posizionamento dal “click”.
28• Impugnare nuovamente la cintura di sicurezza dellʼauto e farla passare dietro lo schienale.
29• Inserire la cintura nella guida dietro lo schienale, come in figura.
30• Verificare che la cintura risulti ben tesa e bloccata per offrire unʼadeguata sicurezza.
•Per togliere il seggiolino dallʼauto levare la cintura di sicurezza dellʼauto dal retro del seggiolino, reclinare il maniglione in posizione retta fino al “click” e sganciare il seggiolino dalla base. La base rimane in auto agganciata, pronta allʼuso.
SEQUENZA DI POSIZIONAMENTO DEL SEGGIOLINO (SENZA BASE) IN AUTO
31• Solo nel caso si dovesse mettere in auto il seggiolino senza base, occorre sbottonare le due alette laterali e inserirle all'interno.
32• Sistemare seggiolino con il vostro bambino sul sedile, ricordandovi di assicurarlo con il cinturino di sicurezza.
•In auto il seggiolino deve essere installato in senso contrario rispetto alla direzione di marcia.
•Il seggiolino, per avere una corretta posizione in auto, deve essere parallelo al suolo; quindi se necessario, usare asciugamani arrotolati da
posizionare sul sedile, sotto al seggiolino. 33• Infilare la cinghia della cintura di sicurezza
dellʼauto nelle due guide laterali del seggiolino, assicurandosi che sia ben tesa.
34• Agganciare la fibbia della cintura dellʼauto al
sedile come in figura.
35• In auto il maniglione deve essere assolutamente abbassato totalmente in avanti a toccare
lo schienale del sedile auto come in figura. Posizionare il maniglione in avanti assicurandosi del giusto posizionamento dal “click”.
36• Impugnare nuovamente la cintura di sicurezza dellʼauto e farla passare dietro lo schienale.
37• Inserire la cintura nella guida dietro lo schienale, come in figura.
38• Verificare che la cintura risulti ben tesa e bloccata per offrire unʼadeguata sicurezza.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Il vostro prodotto necessita un minimo di manutenzione. Le operazioni di pulizia e manutenzione devono essere effettuate solo da adulti.
•Si raccomanda di tenere pulite tutte le parti in movimento e se occorre, lubrificarle con olio leggero.
•Periodicamente pulire le parti in plastica con un panno umido, non usare solventi o altri prodotti simili.
•Spazzolare le parti in tessuto per allontanare la polvere.
•Non pulire il dispositivo di assorbimento dʼurto in polistirolo con solventi o altri prodotti simili.
•Proteggere il prodotto da agenti atmosferici, acqua, pioggia o neve; lʼesposizione continua e prolungata al sole potrebbe causare cambiamenti di colore in molti materiali.
•Conservare il prodotto in un posto asciutto.

•QUESTO SEGGIOLINO DI SICUREZZA AUTO GRUPPO 0+ DEVE SEMPRE ESSERE INSTALLATO IN SENSO CONTRARIO RISPETTO ALLA DIREZIONE DI MARCIA.
•UTILIZZARE SEMPRE LE CINTURE DI SICUREZZA DEL SEGGIOLINO E VERIFICARE CHE IL BAMBINO NON SGANCI DA SOLO LA CINTURA.
•QUESTA SDRAIETTA NON Eʼ INTESA PER UN PROLUNGATO PERIODO DI SONNO.
•PER EVITARE IL RISCHIO DI CADUTA, IL BAMBINO DEVE ESSERE SEMPRE LEGATO CON LA CINTURA DI SICUREZZA.
•NELLʼAGGANCIARE LA BASE E IL SEGGIOLINO FAR PASSARE LA CINTURA DELLA VETTURA A TRE PUNTI NELLE SEDI APPOSITE.
•LʼAGGANCIO IN AUTO DI QUESTO SEGGIOLINO É CONSENTITO SOLO CON CINTURE DI SICUREZZA A TRE PUNTI, NON É CONSENTITO USARE LA CINTURA A DUE PUNTI O ADDOMINALE (vedi Norme di Sicurezza).
•SE LA VETTURA É IN MOVIMENTO, NON TOGLIERE MAI IL BAMBINO DAL SEGGIOLINO DI SICUREZZA AUTO.
•NON LASCIARE MAI INCUSTODITO IL VOSTRO BAMBINO.
•NON LASCIARE IL SEGGIOLINO DI SICUREZZA PER AUTO NELLA VETTURA SOTTO LʼESPOSIZIONE DEL SOLE. PRIMA DI COLLOCARE IL BAMBINO,
CONTROLLARE, PERCHÉ ALCUNE PARTI POTREBBERO ESSERSI SURRISCALDATE.
•NON COLLOCARE MAI IL SEGGIOLINO DI SICUREZZA PER AUTO SU SUPERFICI ALTE (tavoli, ripiani) SU SUPERFICI MORBIDE (letti, divani) O SU SUPERFICI INCLINATE.
•NON USARE LA SDRAIETTA SE IL BAMBINO PUOʼ STARE SEDUTO DA SOLO.
•LʼUTILIZZO DEL SEGGIOLINO DI SICUREZZA AUTO PER NEONATI PREMATURI POTREBBE COMPORTARE AL NEONATO PROBLEMI DI RESPIRAZIONE STANDO SEDUTI NEL SEGGIOLINO. É OPPORTUNO CONSULTARE IL MEDICO PRIMA DI LASCIARE LʼOSPEDALE.

NORME DI SICUREZZA R44
•Seggiolino di sicurezza per auto, Gruppo 0+, categoria “Universale” omologato secondo la Normativa Europea ECE R44/04 per bambini di peso da 0-13 kg (0-12/14 mesi). Adatto allʼimpiego generale nei veicoli e compatibile con la maggior parte, ma non tutti i sedili di veicolo.
•Il seggiolino di sicurezza per auto può essere correttamente installato se nel manuale dʼuso e manutenzione del veicolo è indicata la compatibilità di questʼultimo con sistemi di ritenuta “Universali” di gruppo 0+.
•Primo Viaggio SIP è classificato “Universale” secondo criteri di omologazione più severi rispetto ai modelli precedenti che non dispongono delllʼetichetta di
omologazione.
•Il seggiolino di sicurezza per auto puó essere utilizzato solo su veicoli approvati, dotati di cintura a tre punti statica o con avvolgitore, omologati secondo il regolamento UN/ECE n°16 o normative equivalenti.
•In caso di dubbi, rivolgersi al costruttore o al rivenditore di Primo Viaggio SIP.
•Assicurarsi che la cintura a tre punti del veicolo per fissare la base e il seggiolino al veicolo sia sempre tesa e non attorcigliata.
•Si raccomanda di sostituire il seggiolino e la cintura a tre punti del veicolo nel caso di sollecitazioni eccessive dovute ad un incidente.
•Regolare la cintura del seggiolino, assicurandosi che lo spartigambe sia ben teso e aderente al corpo del bambino senza stringerlo troppo.
•Seguire scrupolosamente le istruzioni fornite dal fabbricante del sistema di tenuta del bambino.
•In auto prestare particolare attenzione a bagagli che possono causare lesioni al bambino nel seggiolino in caso di incidente.
•Si raccomanda di non utilizzare il seggiolino senza il rivestimento di tessuto, tale rivestimento non puó essere sostituito da uno non approvato dal
costruttore in quanto costituisce parte integrante del seggiolino.
COME LEGGERE LʼETICHETTA DI OMOLOGAZIONE
In questo paragrafo vi spieghiamo come leggere lʼetichetta di omologazione (etichetta arancione).
•In alto allʼetichetta cʼè il marchio dellʼazienda produttrice e il nome del prodotto.
•La scritta UNIVERSAL indica la compatibilità del seggiolino di sicurezza auto su veicoli approvati, dotati di cintura a tre punti statica o con avvolgitore, omologati secondo il regolamento UN/ECE n°16 o normative equivalenti.
•La lettera E in un cerchio indica il marchio di omologazione Europea e il numero definisce il paese che ha rilasciato lʼomologazione (1:Germania, 2:
Francia, 3:Italia, 4:Paesi Bassi, 11:Gran Bretagna e 13:Lussemburgo).
•Più sotto si trova il numero di omologazione; per esempio se inizia con 04 vuol dire che è il quarto emendamento della legge R44.
•Il numero progressivo di produzione, dal rilascio dellʼomologazione, personalizza ogni seggiolino; ognuno è contraddistinto dal proprio numero.
•Infine viene menzionata la normativa di riferimento: ECE R44/04.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PRIMO VIAGGIO SIP with ADJUSTABLE BASE Primo Viaggio SIP with Adjustable Base is the child car seat certified for the 0+ age group, or children weighing 0-13 kg. (0-12/14 months).
•Primo Viaggio SIP car seat has a Ganciomatic System that allows you to remove it from “Peg Perego” strollers or baby carriages with a flick of the hand, and attach and detach it on its base in the vehicle.
1• To detach the child car seat from its base, pull the handle behind the backrest upwards with one hand while lifting the seat with the other hand.
2• To attach the child car seat, line it up with the hooks and push downwards with both hands until the seat clicks into place.
SAFETY BELT
3• To fasten the safety belt, place one strap over the other, and insert them into the buckle on the leg divider, pressing until they click into place.
4• To unfasten the safety belt, press the red button on the leg divider buckle.
5• The safety belt straps and the Side Impact Protection headrest can be raised together to 5 different positions, to grow with the child.
•Before adjusting the height of the safety belt and the headrest, release the tension on the straps.

headrest, press the height adjustor button (located on the child seat backrest) while lifting or lowering the headrest to the desired position, making sure it clicks into place.
6• The correct position for the headrest is determined by the correct position of the safety belt straps. The childʼs shoulders should be just above the point where the straps pass.
7• To release the tension in the safety belt straps, slip your finger through the opening in the seat and press the metal button while using your other hand to pull the straps upwards, as shown in the
figure.
8• To fasten the straps with the child in the seat, pull the central adjustment belt towards you, as shown in the figure. Be careful not to pull the straps too tightly against the child; leave just a little play in the straps.
PADDING
9• To mount the shoulder padding, open the Velcro fastener and place the padding on the safety belt strap. Close the Velcro, with the opening turned outwards.
10• To mount the leg padding, slip the leg divider belt buckle through the padding, as shown in the figure.
11• The car seat comes with a filler cushion for newborn infants. Remove the filler after the child has grown bigger. To remove the filler cushion, slip it off the leg divider belt.
REGULATOR HANDLE
12• The car seat regulator handle has four positions. To incline the seat, press the two buttons on the handle and simultaneously adjust the seat until it clicks into the desired position.
Position A: Set the handle to this position when the child car seat is mounted in the car. Position B: Set the handle to this position when carrying the child car seat by hand or while attaching it to its base, to a stroller, or to a baby carriage.
Position C: Set the handle to this position to allow the car seat to rock.
Position D: Set the handle to this position to prevent the child car seat from rocking.
HOOD
13• To mount the hood, insert the fasteners into the openings on the child car seat and arrange the rear part of the hood behind the backrest.
14• To raise or lower the hood, push it backwards or forwards.
• ATTENTION: Never grab the hood to lift the seat!
The hood will come off, and the seat will fall. 15• To remove the hood, press the buttons on the
fasteners while lifting the hood.
REMOVABLE LINING
16• To remove the lining from the headrest, slip the lining downwards, off the headrest frame and the safety belt straps.
17• To remove the lining from the car seat, unscrew the headrest frame, making sure to keep the screws.
18• Slip the sack fasteners out from under the seat, and slip the leg divider strap out.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE IN THE VEHICLE
IMPORTANT:
19•The Primo Viaggio SIP car seat is certified for use with the Adjustable Base or without it. Using the base in the vehicle guarantees
greater safety. We recommend using the child seat in the vehicle without the base only as a last resort.
•The Primo Viaggio SIP car seat can be fastened to the front seat if the vehicle does not have an airbag, or to the back seat. It is unsafe and prohibited to fasten the child car seat using two-point abdominal vehicle seat belts. Use only a three-point seat belt to fasten the child car seat, as shown in the figure.
FASTENING THE BASE TO THE VEHICLE
20• Place the base for the child car seat on the seat of the vehicle. Since not all vehicle seats slope at the same angle, the height-adjustable base will allow you to keep the child car seat in the correct position, parallel to the ground.
•The position of the base is correct when the bubble on the gauge is completely visible.
•To adjust the base, use one hand to turn knob A, and the other hand to push down on point B to simulate the childʼs weight. Adjust the base so
that the bubble is completely visible in the gauge. 21• Slip the vehicle seat belt through the two side
slots on the base, as shown in the figure.
22• Fasten the buckle to the vehicle seat, as shown in the figure.
23• If your vehicle is equipped with a seat belt with a free-sliding buckle (like most modern vehicles), you must attach a Surefix Clip to it. Using a Surefix Clip guarantees correct attachment of the child car seat to the base.
•Remove the Surefix Clip from its housing, as shown in the figure.
24• Grab the vehicle shoulder strap (the free strap) just above the buckle, and hold it taut while slipping the Surefix Clip onto the free strap, as shown in the figure. The Surefix Clip must hold the strap taut. (Once the Surefix Clip has been mounted correctly, it can be left on the vehicle seat belt to make it easier to fasten the base each time).
25• After mounting the Surefix Clip, check the tilt of the base again. If the bubble is not completely visible in the gauge, turn the knob again to tighten the belt.
•The base is ready for fastening the child car seat to it.
FASTENING THE CHILD CAR SEAT TO THE BASE IN
THE VEHICLE
26• Place your child in the child car seat, and fasten the safety belt.
•The car seat must be positioned backwards, in relation to the direction of the vehicle.
•Fasten the car seat to the base, pressing with
both hands until it clicks into place.
27• With the child car seat mounted in the vehicle, the handle on the seat must be lowered all the way against the back of the vehicle seat, as shown
in the figure. Push the handle until it clicks into place.
28• Pass the vehicle seat belt around the backrest of the child seat.
29• Slip the vehicle seat belt through the slot on the
back of the seat, as shown in the figure.
30• Check to make sure that the seat belt is taut and securely fastened, for maximum safety.
•To remove the child car seat from the vehicle, remove the vehicle seat belt from the back of the child seat. Pull the handle until it clicks into place in an upright position, and unfasten the child seat from its base. Leave the base mounted in the vehicle, ready for use.
FASTENING THE CHILD CAR SEAT IN THE VEHICLE WITHOUT ITS BASE
31• Only when it is necessary to place the child car seat in the vehicle without its base, unbutton the two side tabs, and place them to the inside.
32• Place the car seat with your child in it on the vehicle seat, and fasten the safety belt.
•The child car seat must be positioned backwards in relation to the direction of the vehicle.
•The correct tilt for the child seat is parallel to the ground. If necessary, use rolled-up towels under the child seat to obtain the correct position.
33• Slip the vehicle seat belt through the two side slots on the child seat, making sure that the belt remains taut.
34• Fasten the vehicle seat belt buckle, as shown in the figure.
35• With the child car seat mounted in the vehicle, the handle on the seat must be lowered all the way against the back of the vehicle seat, as shown
in the figure. Push the handle until it clicks into place.
36• Pass the vehicle seat belt around the backrest of the child seat.
37• Slip the seat belt through the slot on the back of the child seat, as shown in the figure.
38• Check to make sure that the seat belt is taut and securely fastened, for maximum safety.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Your product requires only minimal maintenance. Cleaning and maintenance operations must be performed only by adults.
•Be sure to keep all moving parts clean, lubricating them with light oil if necessary.
•Regularly clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or similar products.
•Brush the fabric parts to remove dust.
•Do not use solvents or similar products to clean the polystyrene bumper.
•Protect the product against smog, water, rain and snow. Continued and extended exposure to sunlight can change the colours of many materials.
•Store the product in a dry area.

SAFETY REGULATIONS R44
•Group 0+ child safety car seat. "Universal" category, inspected in conformity with European Regulation ECE R44/04, for children weighing from 0 - 13 kg (0 - 12/14 months of age). Suitable for general use in vehicles. Designed for use with most but not all vehicle seats.
•The child safety car seat can be correctly installed if the user's manual for the vehicle states that the vehicle conforms to the "Universal" requirements for Group 0+ child car seats.
•The "Primo Viaggio SIP" car seat has been classified "Universal" according to stricter inspection criteria than the criteria used for previous models that do not carry a safety inspection label.
•The child safety car seat may be used only on approved vehicles that are equipped with threepoint stationary or wrap-around belts that have been inspected in conformity with the UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or equivalent regulations.
•When in doubt, consult the "Primo Viaggio SIP" car seat manufacturer or retailer.
•Make sure that the three-point safety belt on the vehicle, which is used to fasten the base and the child car seat to the vehicle, is always taut and never twisted.
•In the case of accidents where the child car seat and the three-point safety belt on the vehicle are subjected to extreme stress, we recommend replacing the child car seat and the three-point safety belt with new ones.
•Adjust the child car seat safety belt, making sure that the strap between the legs is taut, and that it fits snuggly against the child's body without being
too tight.
•Rigorously follow all instructions supplied by the child restraint system manufacturer.
•Be especially careful not to position baggage in the car in such a way that it may cause injury to the child in the car seat in case of accident.
•Never use the car seat without its cloth lining. Do not replace the lining with another lining that has not been approved by the manufacturer. The lining is an important part of the car seat.
HOW TO INTERPRET THE INSPECTION LABEL
This paragraph explains how to interpret the inspection label (orange label).
•The manufacturer's trademark and the name of the product are shown at the top of the label.
•The word "UNIVERSAL" indicates that the child safety car seat can be used on approved vehicles equipped with three-point stationary or wrap-around belts which have been inspected in conformity with UN/ ECE Regulation No. 16 or equivalent regulations.
•The letter "E" inside a circle is a European inspection label. The number indicates the country that approved inspection. (1 - Germany, 2 - France, 3
- Italy, 4 - The Netherlands, 11 - Great Britain, and 13 - Luxembourg).
•The approval number is found below; for example, if it begins with 04 it means that it is the fourth amendment of law R44.
•Each car seat is personalized with a progressive production number upon inspection. Each child car seat can be identified by its inspection number.

PRIMO VIAGGIO SIP avec base «ADJUSTABLE BASE» Primo Viaggio SIP avec base ADJUSTABLE BASE est un siège auto homologué pour les automobiles du groupe 0+ pour les enfants dʼun poids de 0 à 13kg (0-12/14 mois).
•Primo viaggio SIP est un siège auto équipé du système Ganciomatic. Il peut se fixer et se retirer de sa base en un seul geste. Il sʼutilise tout aussi simplement sur les poussettes et les châssis PEG PEREGO.
1• Pour retirer le siège auto de sa base, actionner la poignée située à lʼarrière du siège et simultanément soulever le siège par sa poignée.
2• Pour fixer le siège auto sur la base, le positionner en face des fixations et lʼenfoncer sur la base jusquʼà entendre le clic dʼenclenchement.
HARNAIS DE SECURITE
3• Pour accrocher le harnais de sécurité, superposer les deux embouts des bretelles et les insérer dans la boucle entre-jambes jusquʼau clic.
4• Pour décrocher le harnais de sécurité, appuyer sur le bouton rouge situé sur la boucle entre-jambes.
5• La hauteur des bretelles du harnais de sécurité et du cale-tête SIP (Side Impact Protection) est
réglable simultanément en 5 positions pour suivre la croissance de lʼenfant.
•Avant de régler la hauteur du harnais de sécurité et du cale-tête, détendre les bretelles.
•Pour régler la hauteur du harnais de sécurité et du cale-tête, appuyer sur le bouton A situé sur la manette à lʼarrière du dossier du siège auto et simultanément, monter ou descendre la manette
suivant la hauteur souhaitée, tout en sʼassurant du positionnement correct grâce au clic.
6• Le bouton de réglage du cale-tête est indiqué par
la position des bretelles: les épaules de lʼenfant doivent se situer juste au-dessus des passants des bretelles.
7• Pour détendre les bretelles du harnais, passer le doigt dans lʼouverture de lʼassise, appuyer sur le bouton métallique et en même temps, tirer sur les bretelles.
8• Pour ajuster les bretelles du harnais à la taille de lʼenfant, tirer la sangle centrale vers soi, comme indiqué sur la figure correspondante, en sʼassurant que les bretelles ne sont pas trop serrées sur lʼenfant.
COUSSINETS DE PROTECTION
9• Pour installer les coussinets de protection des épaules, ouvrir par le velcro, positionner les bretelles et replier en fermant avec le velcro.
10• Pour installer le coussinet de la sangle entre-jambes, insérer la boucle de la sangle entre-jambes comme indiqué sur la figure correspondante.
11• Le siège auto est fourni avec un réducteur spécialement adapté aux nouveaux-nés, à retirer une fois que lʼenfant est plus grand. Pour retirer le réducteur, retirer la sangle entre-jambes du coussinet.
POIGNÉE
12• La poignée du siège a 3 positions de réglage. Pour incliner la poignée, appuyer sur les deux boutons situés de chaque côté du siège à la base de la poignée tout en plaçant la poignée dans la position désirée jusquʼà entendre le clic de sécurité à lʼenclenchement.
Position A: position de la poignée en voiture. Position B: Position de la poignée lors du transport et de lʼinstallation du siège auto sur la base, les poussettes et les châssis.
Position C: position idéale lorsque le siège est posé au sol en position bascule.
Position D: position empêchant le siège de basculer lorsquʼil est posé au sol.
CAPOTE
13• Pour installer la capote, insérer les fixations dans les emplacements prévus à cet effet sur le siège et mettre en place la partie arrière de la capote derrière le dossier.
14• Pour baisser et relever la capote, la pousser vers lʼarrière ou vers lʼavant.
15• Pour retirer la capote, appuyer sur les boutons des fixations de celle-ci et la soulever.
POUR RETIRER LA HOUSSE
16• Pour retirer la housse du cale-tête, commencer à la retirer par le bas, lʼenlever de son support et retirer les bretelles du harnais.
17• Pour retirer la housse du siège auto, dévisser la structure du cale-tête en prenant soin de bien conserver les vis.
18• Retirer les ailettes de fixation de la housse sous le siège et extraire la sangle entre-jambes.
INSTRUCTIONS DʼUTILISATION EN VOITURE
IMPORTANT:
19• Le siège auto Primo Viaggio SIP peut être utilisé en voiture avec ou sans sa base “Adjustable base”. Lʼutilisation de la base en voiture garantit néanmoins une meilleure sécurité. Pour cette raison, il est recommandé de nʼutiliser en voiture le siège auto sans sa base quʼen cas de nécessité.
•Le siège auto Primo Viaggio SIP peut sʼinstaller sur le siège avant passager du véhicule si
ce dernier nʼest pas équipé dʼAirbag ou sur le siège auto arrière. Ne pas accrocher le siège auto avec la ceinture à deux points
(ventrale) du véhicule car elle nʼassure pas une sécurité optimale de lʼenfant dans son siège. Nʼaccrocher le siège auto quʼavec la ceinture à trois points dʼancrage (voir figure).
POSITIONNEMENT DE LA BASE EN VOITURE
20• Positionner la base sur le siège de la voiture. Les
sièges véhicules, selon les fabricants, nʼayant pas la même inclinaison, il est possible, grâce à la base réglable, de maintenir le siège auto dans une position dʼinclinaison optimale.
•Pour que lʼinclinaison du siège soit optimale, la bulle de lʼindicateur, doit être entièrement visible.
•Pour régler lʼinclinaison, faire tourner la molette A de la base et appuyer sur la poignée B pour simuler le poids de lʼenfant et continuer de régler jusquʼà voir entièrement la bulle.
21• Insérer la partie ventrale de la ceinture de sécurité de la voiture dans les passants latéraux de la base.
22• Boucler la ceinture de sécurité de la voiture. 23• Si votre véhicule est équipé dʼune ceinture qui permet à la boucle de la fixation de glisser
librement (comme dans la majeure partie des véhicules), il est nécessaire de fixer le “surefix clip”. Lʼutilisation du surefix clip maintient la base fixée au siège.
•Retirer le surefix clip de son logement sur la base. 24• Saisir la sangle diagonale de la ceinture de
sécurité du véhicule, juste au-dessus de la boucle, la tirer en la maintenant tendue et insérer le surefix clip dans la sangle libre, comme le montre la séquence. Le surefix clip bloque la sangle en tension (une fois installé, le surefix clip peut rester accroché à la ceinture de sécurité de la voiture pour faciliter les opérations ultérieures dʼaccrochage de la base).
25• Quand le surefix clip est posé, contrôler le niveau dʼinclinaison de la base et si la bulle nʼest pas entièrement visible dans lʼindicateur, tourner
à nouveau la poignée jusquʼà obtenir la bonne inclinaison.
•La base est prête à recevoir le siège auto.
POSITIONNEMENT DU SIEGE AUTO SUR LA BASE DANS LA VOITURE
26• Installer lʼenfant dans le siège auto et lʼaccrocher avec le harnais de sécurité.
•Dans la voiture, le siège auto doit être installé dans le sens inverse de la marche.
•Saisir le siège auto et lʼaccrocher à la base en appuyant des deux mains jusquʼà entendre le clic dʼenclenchement du siège sur sa base.
Vérifier que le siège est correctement fixé sur sa base en le soulevant légèrement. Si le siège se désolidarise de la base, il était mal accroché. Recommencer les opérations dʼaccrochage.
27• En voiture, la poignée doit être complètement abaissée vers lʼavant jusquʼà toucher le dossier du siège de la voiture comme sur la figure correspondante. Positionner la poignée en avant en sʼassurant quʼelle est bien enclenchée (clic).
28• Saisir à nouveau la ceinture de sécurité de la voiture et la faire passer derrière le dossier du siège auto.
29• Insérer la ceinture dans le passant situé derrière le dossier comme indiqué sur la figure correspondante.
30• Vérifier que la ceinture est correctement tendue et bloquée de manière à garantir une sécurité optimale.
•Pour retirer le siège auto de la voiture, retirer la ceinture de sécurité du passant derrière le siège, relever la poignée jusquʼen position verticale
(il faut entendre le clic dʼenclenchement) et décrocher le siège auto de la base. La base reste dans la voiture, prête pour la prochaine utilisation.
POSITIONNEMENT DU SIEGE AUTO (SANS BASE) DANS LA VOITURE
31• Uniquement dans le cas où utilise le siège auto sans la base: décrocher les deux ailettes latérales et les rabattre vers lʼintérieur.
32• Installer lʼenfant sur le siège et lʼaccrocher avec le harnais de sécurité.
•Installer le siège auto dans la voiture sans le sens inverse de la marche.
•La position correcte du siège dans la voiture doit être parallèle au sol. Si nécessaire, si les sièges du véhicule sont particulièrement incurvés, il est possible de placer des tissus enroulés sous le
siège pour rectifier la position.
33• Insérer la ceinture de sécurité de la voiture dans les deux passants latéraux du siège auto en sʼassurant quʼelle est correctement tendue.
34• Boucler la ceinture de sécurité de la voiture. 35• En voiture la poignée doit être complètement
abaissée vers lʼavant jusquʼà toucher le dossier du siège de la voiture comme sur la figure correspondante. Positionner la poignée en avant en sʼassurant quʼelle est bien enclenchée (clic).
36• Saisir à nouveau la ceinture de sécurité de la voiture et la faire passer derrière le dossier du siège auto.
37• Insérer la ceinture dans le passant situé derrière le dossier comme indiqué sur la figure correspondante.
38• Vérifier que la ceinture est convenablement tendue et bloquée de manière à garantir une sécurité optimale.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Votre produit nécessite un minimum dʼentretien. Les opérations de nettoyage et dʼentretien doivent être effectuées uniquement par des adultes.
•Il est recommandé de maintenir toutes les parties mobiles propres et, au besoin, de les lubrifier avec une huile légère.
•Nettoyer régulièrement les parties en plastique avec un chiffon humide, ne pas utiliser de solvants ou dʼautres produits du même type.
•Brosser les parties en tissu pour les dépoussiérer.
•Ne pas nettoyer le dispositif dʼabsorption des chocs en polystyrène avec des solvants ou dʼautres produits du même type.
