Servicehinweise
Achtung: ESD-Vorschriften beachten
Vor Öffnen des Gehäuses Netzstecker ziehen.
Leitungsverlegung
Bevor Sie die Leitungen und insbesondere die Masseleitungen lösen, muss die Leitungsverlegung zu den einzelnen Baugruppen beachtet werden.
Nach erfolgter Reparatur ist es notwendig, die Leitungsführung wieder in den werkseitigen Zustand zu versetzen um evtl. spätere Ausfälle oder Störungen zu vermeiden.
DVD-Laufwerk
Bei Ausbau der DVD-Lasereinheit oder der Servo-Leiterplatte müssen vor Abziehen der Steckverbindungen zwei Schutzlötstellen auf der Leiterplatte der Lasereinheit angebracht werden, um eine Zerstörung der Laserdioden durch statische Aufladung zu vermeiden.
Beim Einbau einer neuen Lasereinheit (DVD-Laufwerk) müssen nach Einstecken der Steckverbinder die werkseitig angebrachten Schutzlötstellen entfernt werden!
Service Hints
Attention: Observe the ESD safety regulations
Disconnect the mains plug before opening the set.
Wiring
Before disconnecting any leads and especially the earth connecting leads observe the way they are routed to the individual assemblies. On completion of the repairs the leads must be laid out as originally fitted at the factory to avoid later failures or disturbances.
DVD Mechanism
When removing the Laser pick-up or the Servo PCB, the Laser pickup PCB must be provided with two protective soldered joints before unplugging the connectors to avoid damage to the Laser diodes by static charges.
When inserting the new Laser pick-up (DVD drive mechanism) the soldered joints fitted at the factory must be removed after the connectors are plugged in.

Software Version
Gerät einschalten, Schublade öffnen.
Auf der Fernbedienung die Tasten "Lautstärke +" gefolgt von der Taste "Zoom" (v) drücken. Die Software Versionsnummer wird eingeblendet.
Software Update
Neue Software auf eine CD brennen. CD einlegen, Wiedergabe starten. Das Gerät erkennt die neue Software und beginnt mit dem
Software Update.
Gewährleistung: Wir weisen ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass nur von
GRUNDIG freigegebene System-Software zulässig ist. Wurde als Fehlerursache festgestellt, dass eine aus nicht legitimierten Quellen gleich welcher Herkunft stammende oder eine veränderte SystemSoftware in die Geräte geladen wurde, so ist dies ein Fremdeingriff. Ein Fremdeingriff führt zum Erlöschen jeglicher Gewährleistungsansprüche.
GRUNDIG muss daher alle aus diesen Gründen resultierenden Kostenerstattungen generell ablehnen. Instandsetzungskosten, auch innerhalb der Gewährleistungszeit, gehen in diesen Fällen zu Lasten des Händlers bzw. des Endkunden.
Software Version
Switch on the unit and open the tray.
Press button "Volume +" followed by button "Zoom" (v). The software version number is shown.
Software Update
Burn the new software on a CD. Insert the CD and start play. The set detects the new software, update starts automatically.
Warranty / costs: We expressly point out that only operating software authorized by GRUNDIG is allowed. If a failure is caused by an operating software which has been downloaded from not authorized sources, independent of its origin, or by a modified software, this represents an outside interference. An outside interference leads to the expiration of any warranty claims. For this reason, GRUNDIG is obliged to generally refuse any payment due to such infringements. In such cases, the repair costs are at the charge of the retailer or the final customer, even within the period of warranty.

Hauptplatte (Fig.1)
-Die Schrauben aller Anschluss-Buchsen der Hauptplatte in der Rückwand herausdrehen.
-3 Schrauben A herausdrehen.
-4 Rastnasen B ausrasten.
-Bei Bedarf Steckverbindungen lösen.
Tunergehäuse (Fig.1)
- 4 Lötstellen C auflöten und Abdeckung abnehmen.
Netzteilplatte (Fig.1)
-4 Schrauben D herausdrehen.
-2 Rastnasen E ausrasten.
-Bei Bedarf Steckverbindungen lösen.
Front (Fig.1)
-6 Schrauben F herausdrehen (2 Masseleitungen).
-2 Rastnasen G ausrasten und Front nach vorne klappen.
-Bei Bedarf Steckverbindungen lösen.

Main PCB (Fig.1)
-Undo the screws of all sockets of the main PCB at the rear panel.
-Undo 3 screws A.
-Disengage 4 hooks B.
-When necessary unplug connectors.
Tuner Cover (Fig.1)
- Unsolder 4 solder points C and remove the cover.
Power Supply PCB (Fig.1)
-Undo 4 screws D.
-Disengage 2 hooks E.
-When necessary unplug connectors.
Front (Fig.1)
-Undo 6 screws F (2 ground connections).
-Disengage 2 hooks G and tilt the front forward.
-When necessary unplug connectors.

-Lautsprechergitter abnehmen.
-Lautsprecher abschrauben und abnehmen.
-Gehäusevorderteil lösen (an Nut H Fig.3 beginnen) und Steckverbindungen I (Fig.3) lösen.
-Steckverbindungen J (Fig.2) lösen.
-10 Schrauben K (Fig.4) herausdrehen.
Subwoofer
-Remove the speaker grill.
-Unsrew the speaker and remove.
-Loosen the cabinet front (start at grooves H Fig.3) and unplug the connectors I (Fig.3).
-Unplug the connectors J (Fig.2).
-Undo 10 screws K (Fig.4).
