Leggere attentamente prima dell’uso e conservare queste istruzioni per ogni riferimento futuro.

AVVERTENZA DI SICUREZZA

ATTENZIONE!

•Questo apparecchio è destinato a un utilizzo esclusivamente domestico e deve essere utilizzato conformemente alle istruzioni d’uso. Non utilizzare per usi diversi da quello previsto (disinfezione domestica di biberon, succhietti e accessori per l’allattamento al seno del tuo bambino). Ogni altro uso è da considerarsi improprio e quindi pericoloso.

•Questo apparecchio è solo per uso interno, non deve pertanto essere esposto a sole, pioggia e altri agenti atmosferici.

•Questo apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato dai bambini. Tenere l’apparecchio e il suo cavo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.

•Assicurarsi che i bambini non giochino con l’apparecchio.

•Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da persone con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o con mancanza di esperienza e di conoscenza se sono sorvegliati oppure se hanno ricevuto istruzioni riguardo l’utilizzo in sicurezza dell’apparecchio e ne hanno capito i pericoli implicati.

•Nel caso in cui l’apparecchio venga ceduto dall’acquirente o affidato a utilizzatori terzi, è necessario che gli stessi ricevano istruzioni relative all’uso sicuro dell’apparecchio e abbiano compreso i pericoli ad esso inerenti, attraverso la lettura del manuale d’uso e in particolare delle avvertenze di sicurezza in esso contenute che dovranno sempre accompagnare l’apparecchio.

•Attenzione: per motivi di sicurezza l’apparecchio deve sempre essere collegato a un impianto provvisto di un efficiente collegamento di terra.

•Non appoggiare l’apparecchio sopra o vicino a superfici calde, cucine a gas o piastre elettriche o superfici delicate o sensibili al calore e/o all’umidità.

•Attenzione alle parti contrassegnate con il simboloche durante l’uso possono raggiungere alte temperature.

•Duranteilfunzionamentol’apparecchiodiventamoltocaldoinquantoproduce vapore bollente prestare sempre la massima attenzione a non rimuovere il coperchio dell’apparecchio e/o avvicinare gli arti o il viso al foro di uscita del vapore posto sul coperchio, pericolo di ustione.

•Al termine del ciclo di funzionamento, l’acqua in esso contenuta e la superficie superiore dell’apparecchio possono essere molto calde. Prestare attenzione per evitare possibili scottature.

•Attenzione, attendere almeno qualche minuto prima di rimuovere il coperchio a fine ciclo ed effettuare sempre questa operazione con cautela per ri-

di acqua molto calda che potrebbero essere causa di ustioni.

•Non ostruire mai il foro di uscita del vapore posto nella parte superiore del coperchio.

•Non immergere in nessun caso l’apparecchio, la spina o il cavo di alimentazione in acqua o altri liquidi.

•Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o l’apparecchio stesso per staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.

•Assicurarsi che la spina di alimentazione sia sempre staccata dalla presa di corrente e che l’apparecchio sia completamente freddo prima di spostarlo, riporlo, pulirlo, fare operazioni di manutenzione o tra un utilizzo e l’altro o se lasciato incustodito.

•La pulizia e la manutenzione destinate ad essere effettuate dall’utilizzatore non devono essere effettuate da bambini e/o da persone con ridotte capacità mentali o prive di esperienza o della necessaria conoscenza.

CONFIGURAZIONE MICROWAVE

•Inserire nell’apparecchio solo articoli/componenti da disinfettare compatibili con le microonde. Verificare la compatibilità di tali articoli/componenti con il produttore in caso di dubbio.

•Non inserire nello sterilizzatore a microonde prodotti contenenti nylon o metallo.

•Non inserire lo sterilizzatore in forni tradizionali.

•Nel caso dei forni a microonde combinati, assicurarsi che il grill e/o la funzione crisp siano spente.Verificare inoltre che il grill si sia raffreddato e che nel forno non sia inserito il piatto crisp.

•A fine ciclo per estrarre lo sterilizzatore dal forno a microonde servirsi sempre di idonei dispositivi di protezione delle mani dal calore.

•Attenzione, attendere almeno qualche minuto prima di rimuovere il coperchio a fine ciclo ed effettuare sempre questa operazione con cautela per ridurre il rischio di fuoriuscita improvvisa di vapore bollente o gocciolamento di acqua molto calda che potrebbero essere causa di ustioni.

ATTENZIONE

-L’apparecchio, i suoi accessori e gli elementi dell’imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, scatole cartone, ecc.) non sono giocattoli pertanto non devono essere lasciati alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo.

-Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio verificare sempre che il prodotto e i suoi componenti non risultino danneggiati. In caso contrario non utilizzare l’apparecchio, ma rivolgersi a personale qualificato o al rivenditore.

-Al termine del ciclo di disinfezione, gli oggetti contenuti all’interno dell’apparecchio sono molto caldi, prestare sempre la massima attenzione. Lasciarli raffreddare prima di manipolarli.

-Attenzione! Se per qualsiasi motivo durante il funzionamento dell’apparecchio l’erogazione dell’energia elettrica viene interrotta il ciclo di disinfezione potrebbe risultare incompleto. In tale caso la disinfezione dei prodotti inseriti nell’apparecchio potrebbe risultare insufficiente.

-Per scollegare l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica spegnere sempre il prodotto posizionando l’interruttore principale ON/OFF su 0 (OFF) e staccare la spina del cavo di alimentazione dalla presa di corrente quando lo sterilizzatore non è in funzione.

-Non tentare di aprire o riparare l’apparecchio. L’apertura dell’apparecchio è possibile solo con l’ausilio di utensili speciali. Per la eventuale sostituzione del cavo di alimentazione deve essere utilizzato esclusivamente un cavo di tipo identico a quello fornito con l’apparecchio e

l’operazione deve essere effettuata esclusivamente da personale tecnicamente qualificato o da Artsana S.p.A..

-Non inserire nello sterilizzatoreoggetti non idonei alla disinfezione a caldo.Assicurarsi cheil voltaggio dello sterilizzatore (vedi dati di targa posti sotto l’apparecchio) corrisponda a quello della rete elettrica.

-Collegare l’apparecchio ad una presa di corrente facilmente accessibile.

-Non fare funzionare l’apparecchio senza aver inserito all’interno l’apposito cestello porta componenti.

-Non usare mai l’apparecchio senza acqua all’interno della vasca riscaldante.

-Per effettuare il ciclo di disinfezione non inserire mai nella vasca liquidi diversi da acqua potabile.

Gentile cliente,

Ti ringraziamo e ci congratuliamo per la tua scelta. Lo sterilizzatore a vapore modulare elettrico SteriNatural 3in1 si adatta agli oggetti da disinfettare occupando poco spazio in cucina grazie alle 3 configurazioni FULL SIZE, COMPACT e MICROWAVE.

Disinfetta con puro vapore naturale senza nessuna sostanza chimica in modo veloce e sicuro, con la massima comodità d’uso.

Le 3 configurazioni sono compatibili con tutti i biberon e i tiralatte (le parti sterilizzabili a caldo) di Chicco e della maggior parte dei biberon e dei tiralatte delle altre marche in commercio.

Il tasto COMPACTeco (da utilizzare solo nella configurazione COMPACT) permette di risparmiare fino a circa il 25% di tempo ed energia.

Usando la configurazione MICROWAVE è possibile disinfettare più velocemente.

Facile da usare, può contenere max 6 biberon 330 ml/11 oz di tutte le linee Chicco con i relativi accessori (ghiere, tettarelle e bicchierini) nella configurazione FULL SIZE, max 2 biberon 330 ml/11 oz con i relativi accessori per la versione COMPACT e MICROWAVE.

Il numero di biberon di marche diverse da Chicco che è possibile inserire nell’apparecchio potrebbe risultare inferiore a quello indicato nel presente manuale.

Prima dell’uso, leggere attentamente le seguenti istruzioni e avvertenze e conservarle per ogni riferimento futuro.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO

ASSEMBLAGGIO DELLE CONFIGURAZIONI DELLO STERILIZZATORE

Sono disponibili tre diverse configurazioni d’utilizzo dello sterilizzatore: FULL SIZE, COMPACT e MICROWAVE.

1) FULL SIZE (fig. 2)

Per disinfettare max 6 biberon 330 ml/11 oz di tutte le linee Chicco con i relativi accessori.

Si assembla sovrapponendo in sequenza alla base dell’apparecchio (d): il corpo centrale (c) il cestello (b) e il coperchio (a).

2) COMPACT (fig. 3)

Per disinfettare max 2 biberon 330 ml/11 oz di tutte le linee Chicco con i relativi accessori o altri piccoli oggetti, per esempio succhietti.

Si assembla sovrapponendo in sequenza alla base dell’apparecchio (d): il cestello (b) e il coperchio (a).

3) MICROWAVE (fig. 4)

Per disinfettare max 2 biberon 330 ml/11 oz di tutte le linee Chicco con i relativi accessori o altri piccoli oggetti, per esempio succhietti ancora più velocemente.

Si assembla sovrapponendo in sequenza alla base removibile per microonde (i): il cestello (b) e il coperchio (a).

PREPARAZIONE E MODALITÀ D’USO DELL’APPARECCHIO Configurazioni FULL SIZE e COMPACT - APPARECCHIO COL-

LEGATO ALLA RETE ELETTRICA

Prima di essere collocati all’interno dello sterilizzatore, gli oggetti da disinfettare vanno sempre lavati e risciacquati accuratamente.

Disinfettare le TETTARELLE:

-Si consiglia di montare le tettarelle sulle ghiere prima di posizionarle sul cestello (b) per ridurre il rischio di contaminazione dopo la disinfezione.

-Posizionare i bicchierini sopra le tettarelle montate sulle ghiere in posizione leggermente inclinata in modo da favorire l’entrata del vapore all’interno del bicchierino.

Disinfettare i BIBERON:

-Nella configurazione FULL SIZE: Inserire max 6 biberon 330 ml/11 oz di tutte le linee Chicco all’interno del corpo centrale (c) in posizione verticale con il collo rivolto verso il basso e i relativi accessori posti sul cestello (b).

-Nella configurazione COMPACT: Inserire max 2 biberon da 330 ml/11 oz in posizione orizzontale facendo attenzione a non ostruire con gli accessori l’imboccatura del biberon in modo da favorire l’entrata del vapore.

ATTENZIONE: verificare che gli accessori posti sul cestello

(b)non impediscano la corretta chiusura del coperchio

Per il primo utilizzo si consiglia di effettuare un ciclo di sterilizzazione a vuoto senza inserire nessun oggetto all’interno dell’apparecchio.

Durante i primi cicli di funzionamento l’apparecchio potrebbe emanare un leggero odore, questo non è indice di malfunzionamento, ma è da considerarsi un evento normale.

1)Posizionare sempre l’apparecchio fuori dalla portata dei bambini ed esclusivamente su superfici piane e stabili non sensibili al calore e/o all’umidità e in prossimità di una presa facilmente accessibile da parte di un adulto.

2)Rimuovere il coperchio (a), il cestello (b) e il corpo centrale

(c) (fig. 5).

3)Inserire l’acqua nella piastra riscaldante/vasca (e) fino al raggiungimento della tacca di livello corrispondente (fig. 6)

• Uso configurazione FULL SIZE: 150 ml

• Uso configurazione COMPACT: 150 ml

NOTA: L’utilizzo di acqua distillata riduce sensibilmente la formazione di calcare sulla piastra riscaldante.

4)Assemblare lo sterilizzatore nella configurazione che si desidera (per il corretto assemblaggio vedere la sezione “Assemblaggio delle configurazioni dello sterilizzatore”).

5)Posizionare gli oggetti da disinfettare all’interno (vedere il primo paragrafo di questa sezione).

6)Inserire la spina del cavo di alimentazione (f) nella presa di corrente.

7)Posizionare l’interruttore principale ON/OFF (h) su I (ON) quindi premere il gruppo display pulsanti (g) secondo le seguenti modalità:

PER SELEZIONARE E ATTIVARE IL CICLO DI STERILIZZAZIONE NELLA CONFIGURAZIONE FULL SIZE:

ATTENZIONE: NON avviare MAI il ciclo di disinfezione in modalità COMPACTeco quando l’apparecchio viene utilizzato nella configurazione FULL SIZE.

a) Premere il tasto START/STOP ciclo (g2). La spia rossa del tasto START/STOP (g2) (tasto sinistro) si accende a indicare che l’appa-

recchio sta riscaldando e rimane fissa per tutta la durata del ciclo di disinfezione. Sul display (g1) appare l’icona del vapore (fig. 7) e il tempo rimanente in minuti (12) al termine del ciclo.

NOTA: Il riscaldamento richiede circa 7 minuti mentre la disinfezione richiede circa 5 minuti.

b) La fine del ciclo di disinfezione è segnalata da un segnale acustico (5 beep), dallo spegnimento della spia rossa del tasto START/STOP ciclo (g2) (tasto sinistro), dall’indicazione sul display (g1)“00”e dalla scomparsa sul display (g1) dell’icona del vapore. La luce del display (g1) rimane accesa per circa 20 secondi dopo la fine del ciclo. Il display (g1) mostra“00”fino alla pressione di un tasto o allo spegnimento dell’apparecchio. Quindi proseguire effettuando le operazioni come indicato più avanti (punti 8; 9; 10).

PER SELEZIONARE E ATTIVARE IL CICLO DI STERILIZZAZIONE NELLA CONFIGURAZIONE COMPACT:

a)Premere una volta il tasto COMPACTeco (g3) (tasto destro) per attivare la modalità COMPACTeco. La spia bianca del tasto COMPACTeco (g3) (tasto destro) si accende indicando che tale funzione è stata selezionata. Contemporaneamente sul display (g1) appare l’icona“ECO”(fig. 8) e il tempo rimanente in minuti al termine del ciclo (9). A questo punto la configurazione è selezionata ma l’apparecchio non sta ancora riscaldando.

NOTA: Il riscaldamento richiede circa 4 minuti mentre la disinfezione richiede circa 5 minuti.

ATTENZIONE: premendo una seconda volta il tasto COMPACTeco (g3) (tasto destro), l’apparecchio ritorna in modalità FULL SIZE, con il display (g1) che indica il relativo

tempo rimanente in minuti (12).

b)Premere il tasto START/STOP ciclo (g2) (tasto sinistro) per far partire il ciclo di disinfezione. La spia rossa del tasto START/STOP (g2) (tasto sinistro) e la spia bianca del tasto COMPACTeco (g3) (tasto destro) si accendono. Sul display (g1) appare l’icona vapore che indica che l’apparecchio sta riscaldando in modalità COMPACTeco.

c)La fine del ciclo di disinfezione è segnalata da un segnale acustico (5 beep), dallo spegnimento della spia rossa del tasto START/STOP ciclo (g2) (tasto sinistro), dall’indicazione a display (g1)“00”e dalla scomparsa dal display (g1) dell’icona del vapore. La spia bianca del tasto COMPACTeco (g3) (tasto destro) rimane accesa. La luce del display (g1) rimane accesa per circa 20 secondi dopo la fine del ciclo. Il display (g1) mostra “00” fino alla pressione di un tasto o allo spegnimento dell’apparecchio. Quindi proseguire effettuando le operazioni come indicato più avanti (punti 8; 9; 10).

8)Spegnere l’apparecchio posizionando l’interruttore principale ON/OFF (h) su 0 (OFF) e staccare la spina del cavo di alimentazione (f) dalla presa di corrente.

9)Attendere qualche minuto prima di rimuovere gli oggetti disinfettati facendo sempre molta attenzione alla fuoriuscita di vapore bollente e gocce di acqua molto calda che potrebbero essere causa di ustioni.

Lavarsi accuratamente le mani prima di manipolare gli oggetti sottoposti a disinfezione.

10)Prima di effettuare un nuovo ciclo di disinfezione, aspettare sempre che l’apparecchio sia completamente raffreddato.

NOTA: la disinfezione si mantiene per circa 24 ore all’interno dello sterilizzatore se il coperchio (a) non viene rimosso. Nel caso il coperchio (a) venga rimosso durante o dopo l’uso, il mantenimento della disinfezione viene interrotto.

Configurazioni MICROWAVE - APPARECCHIO INSERITO IN

FORNO A MICROONDE

AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA

ATTENZIONE!

-I biberon in vetro possono essere sterilizzati nel forno a microonde solo se nelle istruzioni è espressamente dichiarato. In caso di dubbio, contattare il rivenditore o il fabbricante.

-Attenersi scrupolosamente a tempi e potenze indicati nella tabella TEMPI E POTENZE DI DISINFEZIONE. Tempi e potenze inferiori potrebbero non garantire una disinfezione efficace, mentre tempi e potenze superiori potrebbero danneggiare lo sterilizzatore con il suo contenuto e il forno stesso.

L’apparecchio si assembla sovrapponendo in sequenza alla base removibile per microonde (i) il cestello (b) e il coperchio (a).

Nella configurazione MICROWAVE inserire gli oggetti come indicato per la configurazione COMPACT (vedere primo paragrafo della sezione “Preparazione e modalità d’uso dell’apparecchio. Apparecchio collegato alla rete elettrica - configurazioni FULL SIZE e COMPACT”).

1)Prima di essere collocati all’interno dello sterilizzatore, gli oggetti da disinfettare vanno sempre lavati e risciacquati accuratamente.

2)Versare 80 ml di acqua nella parte centrale della base removibile per microonde (i) (fig. 10).

3)Posizionare gli oggetti da disinfettare all’interno (vedere il primo paragrafo di questa sezione).

4)Chiudere lo sterilizzatore con l’apposito coperchio (a) e inserirlo nel forno a microonde.

5)Impostare la potenza del forno a microonde secondo le modalità consigliate nella tabella sottostante.

6)A fine ciclo per estrarre lo sterilizzatore dal forno a microonde si consiglia di attendere qualche minuto e di servirsi sempre di idonei dispositivi di protezione delle mani.

7)Attendere almeno qualche minuto prima di rimuovere il coperchio (a) a fine ciclo ed effettuare sempre questa operazione con cautela per ridurre il rischio di fuoriuscita improvvisa di vapore bollente o gocciolamento di acqua molto calda che potrebbero essere causa di ustioni.

Lavarsi accuratamente le mani prima di manipolare gli oggetti sottoposti a disinfezione.

NOTA: la disinfezione si mantiene per circa 24 ore all’interno dello sterilizzatore se il coperchio (a) non viene rimosso. Nel caso il coperchio (a) venga rimosso durante o dopo l’uso, il mantenimento della disinfezione viene interrotto.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

1.Lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione.

2.Svuotare l’eventuale residuo di acqua (fig. 9) facendo attenzione, nelle configurazioni FULL SIZE e COMPACT, a non bagnare la spina e/o il cavo di alimentazione (f).

3.Asciugare con un panno morbido la piastra riscaldante/vasca

(e) o la base removibile per microonde (i) il corpo centrale (c ) il cestello (b) e il coperchio (a).

RIMOZIONE DEL CALCARE

Durante l’utilizzo dello sterilizzatore è normale che sulla piastra riscaldante/vasca (e) o nella base removibile per microonde (i) si formino depositi di calcare più o meno accentuati in base alla durezza dell’acqua utilizzata. Un eccessivo deposito potrebbe ridurre le prestazioni dell’apparecchio e a lungo danneggiarlo.

È pertanto consigliato decalcificare il prodotto almeno una volta alla settimana oppure ogni qual volta si riscontrino depositi di calcare sulla piastra riscaldante/vasca (e) o sulla base removibile per microonde (i).

1.Versare nella piastra riscaldante/vasca (e) o nella base removibile per microonde (i) 200 ml di una soluzione di aceto bianco e acqua in parti uguali.

2.Lasciare agire finché il calcare non si è sciolto (circa una notte).

Non accendere mai lo sterilizzatore quando all’interno della vasca è stata inserita la soluzione di acqua e aceto.

3.Svuotare la piastra riscaldante/vasca (e) o la base removibile

Rimuovere gli eventuali residui con uno straccio morbido e risciacquare più volte versando all’interno della piastra riscaldante/vasca (e) o nella base removibile per microonde (i) 200 ml di acqua potabile di rubinetto e svuotare. Infine asciugare accuratamente con un panno asciutto e morbido prima di riutilizzare l’apparecchio.

ATTENZIONE: non porre mai l’apparecchio nelle sue configurazione FULL SIZE e COMPACT sotto l’acqua corrente.

Please read these instructions carefully and keep for future reference.

SAFETYWARNINGS

WARNING!

•This product is destined for domestic use only, and must be used in accordance with the user instructions provided. Do not use for purposes other than those indicated (disinfecting feeding bottles, soothers and all breast feeding accessories). Any other use is to be deemed improper and therefore dangerous.

•The appliance is intended for indoor use only; do not leave it exposed to the sun, rain and any other atmospheric conditions.

•This appliance is not intended for use by children. Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of children.

•Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.

•The appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or with no prior experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed on how to safely use the appliance and have understood the risks involved.

MICROWAVE CONFIGURATION

•Only place microwave-safe items/components to be disinfected in the appliance. If you have any doubts check with the manufacturer of these items/components whether they are microwave-safe.

•Do not place products containing nylon or metal in the microwave steriliser.

•Do not place the steriliser in traditional ovens.

•When using combination microwave ovens, check that the grill and/or crisp mode function are OFF. Also check that the grill is cold and that the crisp plate is not inserted in the oven.

•When the sterilisation cycle is over, always use suitable utensils for protecting your hands from heat to extract the steriliser from the microwave.

•Warning: wait for at least a few minutes at the end of each sterilising cycle before removing the lid and always do this carefully to prevent boiling steam or drops of extremely hot water from exiting the appliance and causing burns.

WARNING

-Do not leave the appliance, its accessories and any packaging materials (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, etc.) within the reach of children as they are not toys and can be hazardous.

-Before using the appliance, always make sure that neither the product nor its components are worn or damaged. If the appliance is damaged, do not use it and contact a qualified technician or your dealer.

-Immediately after the disinfection cycle, the objects inside the appliance are very hot. Always handle with the maximum care! Allow them to cool down before handling them.

-Warning! If there is a power blackout while the appliance is working, the disinfection cycle may not have been completed. In this case, the disinfection of the products in the appliance might not be sufficient.

-To disconnect the appliance from the power supply, always switch it off, moving the main ON/OFF switch to 0 (OFF) and disconnect the plug from the mains socket when the steriliser is not in use.

-Do not attempt to open or repair the appliance. The appliance can only be opened with special tools. The power cable must only be replaced with another identical power cable to the one supplied with the appliance; this operation must only be performed by expert technicians or by Artsana S.p.A.

-Do not place objects which are not suitable for hot disinfection inside the steriliser. Please check that the rated voltage on the steriliser (see indications on the plate under the appliance) corresponds to the mains voltage supply you intend to use.

-Connect the appliance to a mains socket that is easy to access.

-Never use the appliance without inserting the component holder rack first.

-Never use the appliance without water in the heating tank.

-To carry out a sterilisation cycle, do not pour any other liquids other than drinking water into the container.

SterilNatural 3in1

Modular electric steam steriliser

Dear customer,

We thank you and congratulate you on your choice. The SteriNatural 3in1 modular electric steam steriliser adapts itself to the items to be disinfected occupying a small space in the kitchen thanks to the 3 configurations available: FULL SIZE, COMPACT and MICROWAVE.

It disinfects safely and securely with pure natural steam and no chemical substances, making it extremely convenient and easy to use.

The 3 configurations are compatible with all Chicco feeding bottles and breast pumps (the parts that can be subjected to hot sterilisation) and most of the other brands of feeding bottles and breast pumps on the market.

The COMPACTeco button (which can only be used in the COMPACT configuration) enables a saving of approximately 25% in time and energy.

By using the MICROWAVE configuration it is possible to disinfect objects more quickly.

Easy to use, it can contain up to six 330 ml/11 oz feeding bottles of all Chicco lines with the relative accessories (cap rings, teats and cups) in the FULL SIZE configuration, and up to two 330 ml/11 oz feeding bottles with the relative accessories for the COMPACT and MICROWAVE configurations.

The number of feeding bottles of brands other than Chicco that can be placed in the appliance may be lower than that indicated here.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

SETTING UP THE CONFIGURATIONS OF THE STERILISER

The steriliser can be assembled for use in three different configurations: FULL SIZE, COMPACT and MICROWAVE.

1) FULL SIZE (fig. 2)

For disinfecting up to six 330 ml/11 oz feeding bottles of all the Chicco lines with the relative accessories.

It is assembled by placing the following components one on top of another in order on the base of the appliance (d): motor unit (c), rack unit (b) and lid (a).

2) COMPACT (fig. 3)

For disinfecting up to two 330 ml/11 oz feeding bottles of all the Chicco lines with the relative accessories or other small objects,

such as soothers.

It is assembled by placing the following components one on top of another in order on the base of the appliance (d): rack unit

(b) and lid (a).

3) MICROWAVE (fig. 4)

For disinfecting up to two 330 ml/11 oz feeding bottles of all the Chicco lines with the relative accessories or other small objects, such for example soothers, even faster.

It is assembled by placing the following components one on top of another in order on the detachable base for microwaves (i): rack unit (b) and lid (a).

HOW TO PREPARE AND USE THE APPLIANCE

FULL SIZE and COMPACT configurations- APPLIANCE CON-

NECTED TO THE MAINS POWER SUPPLY

Always carefully wash and rinse the objects to be disinfected before placing them inside the steriliser.

Disinfecting TEATS:

-To reduce the risk of contaminating the teats with your fingers after sterilising them, it is recommended to fit them on the cap ring before placing them in the rack (b).

-Place the cups above the teats fitted on the cap rings in a slightly sloping position to allow the steam to enter the cups. Disinfecting FEEDING BOTTLES:

-In the FULL SIZE configuration: Place up to six 330 ml/11 oz feeding bottles of all the Chicco lines inside the motor body (c) in a vertical position with the neck facing down and the relative accessories in the rack unit (b).

-In the COMPACT configuration: Place up to two 330 ml/11 oz feeding bottles in a horizontal position, taking care not to obstruct the mouth of the bottle with the accessories so that steam can enter them freely.

WARNING: check that the accessories placed in the rack unit (b) do not prevent the lid from being closed properly (a).

Before you use the appliance for the first time, always perform an empty sterilising cycle with no feeding bottles or other accessories inside.

During the first disinfecting cycles, the appliance could release a slight odour. This is not a sign of malfunction or damage and should be considered absolutely normal.

1)Always place the appliance out of reach of children, on flat, level surfaces that are not sensitive to heat and/or humidity, and close to a mains socket that is easily accessible.

2)Remove the lid (a), rack unit (b) and the motor body (c) (fig. 5).

3)Place water in the heating plate/container (e) up to the water level mark indicated (fig. 6)

• Use in the FULL SIZE configuration: 150 ml

• Use in the COMPACT configuration: 150 ml

NB:The use of distilled water considerably reduces the formation of limescale on the heating plate.

4)Assemble the steriliser in the configuration you require (for assembly instructions please see the section“Setting up the configurations of the steriliser”).

5)Place the objects to be disinfected inside the appliance (see the first paragraph of this section).

6)Connect the power cable plug (f) to the mains socket.

7)Move the main ON/OFF switch (h) to l (ON), then operate the display and button group (g) as follows:

TO SELECT AND ACTIVATE THE STERILISATION CYCLE IN THE FULL SIZE CONFIGURATION:

WARNING: NEVER start the sterilisation cycle in COMPACTeco mode when the appliance is being used in the FULL SIZE configuration.

a) Press the cycle START/STOP cycle button (g2). The red pilot

light of the START/STOP button (g2) (button on the left) will light up to indicate that the appliance is heating up and will remain lit for the entire duration of the sterilisation cycle.The steam icon (fig. 7) and the remaining time in minutes (12) will appear on the display (g1) at the end of the cycle.

NB: Heating up the water takes approximately 7 minutes while the sterilisation process takes approximately 5 minutes.

b) The end of the sterilisation cycle is marked by an acoustic signal (5 beeps), the red pilot light of the cycle START/STOP cycle button going off (g2) (button on the left), the figures "00" appearing on the display (g1) and the steam icon disappearing from the display (g1). The light on the display (g1) remains lit for around 20 second after the end of the cycle. The display (g1) shows“00”until a button is pressed or the appliance is switched off.Then proceed carrying out the operations as indicated below (points 8; 9; 10).

TO SELECT AND ACTIVATE THE STERILISATION CYCLE IN THE COMPACT CONFIGURATION:

a)Press the COMPACTeco button once (g3) (button on the right) to activate the COMPACTeco mode. The white pilot light of the COMPACTeco button (g3) (button on the right) will light up, indicating that this function has been selected.The "ECO" icon (fig. 8) and the remaining time in minutes (9) will both appear on the display (g1) at the end of the cycle. At this point the configuration has been selected but the appliance is not yet heating up. NB: Heating up the water takes approximately 4 minutes while the sterilisation process takes approximately 5 minutes.

WARNING: by pressing the COMPACTeco button (g3) (button on the right) for the second time, the appliance returns to FULL SIZE mode, with the display (g1) indicat-

ing the relative time remaining in minutes (12).

b)Press the cycle START/STOP cycle button (g2) (button on the left) to launch the sterilisation cycle. The red pilot light of the START/STOP button (g2) (button on the left) and the white pilot light of the COMPACTeco button (g3) (button on the right) will light up.The steam icon will appear on the display (g1) indicating that the appliance is heating up in COMPACTeco mode.

b)The end of the sterilisation cycle is marked by an acoustic signal (5 beeps), the red pilot light of the cycle START/STOP button going off (g2) (button on the left), the figures "00" appearing on the display (g1) and the steam icon disappearing from the display (g1). The white pilot light of the COMPACTeco button (g3) (button on the right) will remain lit. The light on the display (g1) remains lit for around 20 second after the end of the cycle. The display (g1) shows“00”until a button is pressed or the appliance is switched off.Then proceed carrying out the operations as indicated below (points 8; 9; 10).

8)Switch the appliance off by moving the main ON/OFF switch

(h) to 0 (OFF) and disconnect the power cable plug (f) from the mains socket.

9)Wait a few minutes before removing the disinfected objects from the appliance, again taking maximum care to prevent any boiling steam and drops of extremely hot water from leaking out and causing burns.

Always wash your hands thoroughly before touching the sterilised objects.

10)Before starting a new sterilisation cycle, always wait until the appliance has completely cooled down.

NB: disinfected items will remain sterile inside the steriliser with the lid (a) on for about 24 hours. If the lid (a) is removed during or after use, the disinfection status will be interrupted.

MICROWAVE configurations - APPLIANCE PLACED IN THE MI-

CROWAVE

SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING!

-Glass feeding bottles can only be sterilised in microwave ovens when this option is expressly declared in the product specifications. In case of doubt, please contact your dealer or the manufacturer.

-The times and powers indicated in the table STERILISATION TIMES AND POWERS must be strictly adhered to. Applying shorter times and weaker powers does not guarantee an effective sterilisation, while applying longer times and stronger powers could damage the steriliser together with its contents and the microwave oven itself.

The appliance is assembled by placing the following components one on top of another in order on the detachable base for microwaves (i), rack unit (b) and lid (a).

In the MICROWAVE configuration, place the objects to be sterilised inside the appliance as indicated for the COMPACT configuration (please see the first paragraph of the section “How to prepare and use the appliance. FULL SIZE and COMPACT configurationsappliance connected to the mains power supply.

1)Always carefully wash and rinse the objects to be disinfected before placing them inside the steriliser.

2)Pour 80 ml of water into the central part of the detachable base for microwaves (i) (fig. 10).

3)Place the objects to be disinfected inside the appliance (see the first paragraph of this section).

4)Close the steriliser lid (a) and place it in the microwave.

5)Set the power on the microwave following the instructions in the table below.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1.Allow the appliance to cool down before handling it.

2.Empty out any remaining water (fig. 9) taking care, in the FULL SIZE and COMPACT configurations, not to wet the plug and/or power cable (f).

3.Dry the heating plate/container (e) or the detachable base for microwaves (i), motor body (c), rack unit (b) and the lid (a) with a soft cloth.

REMOVING LIMESCALE

When the steriliser is used, it is normal for deposits of limescale to form on the heating plate/container (e) or in the detachable base for microwaves.These can vary in size and intensity according to the hardness of the water used in the appliance. An excessive deposit of limescale could reduce the performance of the appliance and damage it over the long term.

It is therefore recommended that the appliance be descaled at

least once a week, or each time that deposits of limescale are found on the heating plate/container (e) or on the detachable base for microwaves.

1.Pour 200 ml of a solution composed of equal parts of white wine vinegar and water into the heating plate/container (e) or detachable base for microwaves (i).

2.Leave it to work until the limescale has dissolved (approximately one night). Never switch the steriliser on when the container is being soaked in the water-white vinegar solution.

3.Empty out the heating plate/container (e) or detachable base for microwaves (i).

4.Remove any residue with a soft cloth and rinse several times, pouring 200 ml of drinkable tap water into the heating plate/ container (e) or detachable base for microwaves (i) and empty out. Finally, dry the appliance carefully with a soft dry cloth before using it again.

WARNING: do not place the appliance under running water in its FULL SIZE and COMPACT configurations.

•Si l’appareil est cédé par l’acquéreur ou confié à des tiers utilisateurs, il faut que ceux-ci reçoivent des instructions quant à son emploi en toute sécurité, et qu’ils aient compris les dangers s’y rapportant après avoir lu la notice d’utilisation et, en particulier, les avertissements de sécurité y étant contenus qui devront toujours accompagner l’appareil.

•Avertissement : pour des raisons de sécurité, l’appareil doit toujours être relié à une installation munie d’une prise de terre efficace.

•Ne placer l’appareil que sur des surfaces planes et stables auxquelles les enfants ne peuvent accéder.

•Ne jamais poser l’appareil sur ou à proximité de surfaces chaudes, de plaques de cuisson au gaz ou de plaques électriques, ou sur des surfaces délicates sensibles à la chaleur et/ou à l’humidité.

•Ne pas poser d’objets ou d’éléments directement sur la plaque chauffante.

•Faire attention aux parties portant le symbole car elles peuvent atteindre des températures élevées pendant l’utilisation.

•Pendant le fonctionnement, l’appareil devient très chaud car il produit de la vapeur bouillante. Ne pas enlever le couvercle de l’appareil et ne

pas approcher les membres ou le visage de l’orifice d’échappement de la vapeur situé sur le couvercle. Risque de brûlures.

•À la fin du cycle de fonctionnement, l’eau contenue dans l’appareil et la surface de ce dernier peuvent être très chaudes. Faire attention pour éviter tout risque de brûlures.

•Attention, attendre au moins quelques minutes avant d’enlever le couvercleàlafinducycleettoujourseffectuercetteopérationavecprudence pour réduire le risque d’échappement imprévu de vapeur bouillante ou d’égouttement d’eau très chaude pouvant causer des brûlures.

•Ne pas tirer sur le câble d’alimentation ou sur l’appareil pour retirer la fiche de la prise de courant.

•S’assurer que la fiche d’alimentation est toujours débranchée de la prise de courant et que l’appareil est complètement froid avant de le déplacer, de le ranger, de le nettoyer, d’effectuer des opérations d’entretien ou entre deux utilisations ou s’il est laissé sans surveillance.

•Le nettoyage et l’entretien, qui incombent à l’utilisateur, ne doivent pas être effectués par des enfants et/ou par des personnes ayant des capacités mentales réduites, ou dépourvues d’expérience et de connaissances appropriées.

CONFIGURATION MICROWAVE

•N’introduire dans l’appareil que des articles/composants à stériliser compatibles avec les micro-ondes. En cas de doute, vérifier la compatibilité de ces articles/composants avec le fabricant.

•Ne pas introduire d’objets contenant du nylon ou du métal dans le stérilisateur à micro-ondes.

•Ne pas introduire le stérilisateur dans des fours traditionnels.

•En cas de fours à micro-ondes combinés, vérifier que le grill et/ou la fonction crisp sont éteints. Vérifier en outre que le grill a refroidi et que le plat crisp n’est pas dans le four.

•Àlafinducycle,toujoursseservird’équipementsdeprotectiondesmains contre la chaleur pour sortir le stérilisateur du four à micro-ondes.

AVERTISSEMENT

-L’appareil, ses accessoires et les éléments de l’emballage (sachets en plastique, boîtes en carton, etc.) ne sont pas des jouets et ne doivent donc pas être laissés à la portée des enfants parce qu’ils constituent une source de danger potentiel.

-Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, toujours vérifier que le produit et ses éléments ne sont pas endommagés. Dans le cas contraire, ne pas utiliser l’appareil mais s’adresser à un personnel qualifié ou au revendeur.

-Lorsque le cycle de stérilisation est terminé, les objets qui se trouvent à l’intérieur sont très chauds : toujours faire très attention. Les laisser refroidir avant de les manipuler.

-Avertissement ! Si, pour une raison ou pour une autre, une coupure de courant se produit pendant le fonctionnement de l’appareil, le cycle de stérilisation pourrait ne pas être complet. Si tel est le cas, la stérilisation des produits présents dans l’appareil pourrait être insuffisante.

-Pour débrancher l’appareil du secteur, l’éteindre en mettant l’interrupteur principal ON/OFF sur 0 (OFF) et débrancher la fiche du câble d’alimentation de la prise de courant quand le stérilisateur n’est pas en marche.

-Ne jamais tenter d’ouvrir ou de réparer l’appareil. L’appareil ne peut être ouvert qu’au moyen d’outils spéciaux. Pour remplacer le câble d’alimentation, utiliser exclusivement un câble identique à celui fourni avec l’appareil. Ce travail doit être confié exclusivement à un personnel technique qualifié ou à Artsana S.p.A.

-Ne pas placer d’objets ne pouvant être stérilisés à chaud dans le stérilisateur. S’assurer que la tension du stérilisateur (voir les données de la plaque située sous l’appareil) correspond à celle du secteur.

-Brancher l’appareil à une prise de courant facilement accessible.

-Ne pas faire fonctionner l’appareil sans y avoir mis auparavant le panier pour les accessoires.

-Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil sans eau dans la cuve chauffante.

-Pour effectuer les cycles de stérilisation, ne jamais verser dans la cuve de liquides autres que de l’eau potable.

-Artsana S.p.A. ne pourra être tenue responsable de dommages aux choses ou aux personnes en cas d’introduction dans l’appareil d’articles/composants non compatibles avec les micro-ondes ou avec la stérilisation à chaud ou en cas de branchements du produit à l’installation électrique non conformes aux normes en vigueur ou aux indications reportées sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil ou dans la présente notice d’utilisation.

Nous vous remercions et vous félicitons de votre choix. Le stérilisateur électrique à vapeur modulable SterilNatural 3 en 1 s’adapte aux objets à stériliser, occupant un espace réduit dans la cuisine grâce aux 3 configurations FULL SIZE, COMPACT et MICROWAVE.

Il stérilise grâce à la vapeur naturelle sans aucune substance chimique de manière rapide et en toute sécurité, pour une commodité d’utilisation optimale.

Les 3 configurations sont compatibles avec tous les biberons et les tire-laits (les parties stérilisables à chaud) de Chicco et avec la plupart des biberons et des tire-laits des autres marques vendues dans le commerce.

La touche COMPACTeco (à utiliser uniquement dans la configuration COMPACT) permet d’économiser jusqu’à 25% environ de temps et d’énergie.

L’emploi de l’appareil dans la configuration MICROWAVE permet d’obtenir une stérilisation plus rapide.

ASSEMBLAGE DU STÉRILISATEUR DANS SES DIFFÉRENTES CONFIGURATIONS

Le stérilisateur est disponible dans trois configurations différentes : FULL SIZE, COMPACT et MICROWAVE.

1) FULL SIZE (fig. 2)

PRÉPARATION ET MODE D’UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL

Configurations FULL SIZE et COMPACT - APPAREIL BRANCHÉ AU SECTEUR

Toujours laver et rincer soigneusement les objets à stériliser avant de les mettre dans le stérilisateur.

Stériliser les TÉTINES :

-Il est conseillé de monter les tétines sur les bagues avant de les placer sur le panier (b) afin de réduire le risque de contamination après la stérilisation.

-Positionner les capuchons au-dessus des tétines montées sur les bagues en position légèrement inclinée de manière à favoriser l’entrée de la vapeur à l’intérieur du capuchon.

Stériliser les BIBERONS :

-Dans la configuration FULL SIZE : Introduire au maximum 6 biberons de 330 ml/11 oz de toutes les lignes Chicco dans le corps central (c) en position verticale avec le col tourné vers le bas et les accessoires placés sur le panier (b).

-Dans la configuration COMPACT : Introduire au maximum 2 biberons de 330 ml/11 oz en position horizontale en faisant attention de ne pas obstruer l’embouchure du biberon avec les accessoires de manière à favoriser l’entrée de la vapeur.

AVERTISSEMENT : s’assurer que les accessoires placés sur le panier (b) n’empêchent pas la fermeture correcte du couvercle (a).

Avant la première utilisation, il est conseillé d’effectuer un cycle de stérilisation à vide, c’est-à-dire sans introduire aucun objet dans l’appareil.

Lors des premiers cycles de stérilisation, l’appareil pourrait dégager une légère odeur. Ceci est normal et n’indique pas un mauvais fonctionnement de l’appareil.

1)Toujours tenir l’appareil hors de portée des enfants. Le positionner uniquement sur des surfaces planes et stables, non sensibles à la chaleur et/ou à l’humidité et à proximité d’une prise facilement accessible par un adulte.

2)Enlever le couvercle (a), le panier (b) et le corps central (c) (fig.

3)Verser l’eau dans la plaque chauffante/cuve (e) jusqu’à atteindre le repère de niveau correspondant (fig. 6)

• Utilisation dans la configuration FULL SIZE : 150 ml

• Utilisation dans la configuration COMPACT : 150 ml REMARQUE : L’utilisation d’eau distillée réduit sensiblement la formation de calcaire sur la plaque chauffante.

4)Assembler le stérilisateur dans la configuration souhaitée

(pour l’assemblage correct voir la section « Assemblage du stérilisateur dans ses différentes configurations »).

5)Positionner les objets à stériliser à l’intérieur (voir le premier paragraphe de cette section).

6)Brancher la fiche du câble d’alimentation (f) sur la prise de courant.

7)Positionner l’interrupteur principal ON/OFF (h) sur I (ON) puis appuyer sur le groupe écran/touches (g) selon les modalités suivantes :

sation en mode COMPACTeco quand l’appareil est utilisé dans la configuration FULL SIZE.

a)Appuyer sur la touche START/STOP cycle (g2). Le voyant de la touche START/STOP (g2) (touche gauche) s’allume pour indiquer que l’appareil est en train de chauffer et il reste allumé pendant toute la durée du cycle de stérilisation. L’icône de la vapeur (fig. 7) et le temps restant jusqu’à la fin du cycle exprimé en minutes (12) s’affichent à l’écran (g1).

REMARQUE : Le chauffage requiert une dizaine de minutes alors que la stérilisation nécessite 5 minutes environ.

b)La fin du cycle de stérilisation est indiquée par un signal sonore (5 bips), par l’extinction du voyant rouge de la touche START/STOP cycle (g2) (touche gauche), par l’affichage à l’écran (g1) de « 00 » et par la disparition de l’écran (g1) de l’icône de la vapeur. L’écran (g1) reste allumé pendant 20 secondes environ après la fin du cycle. L’écran (g1) affiche « 00 » jusqu’à la pression d’une touche ou à l’extinction de l’appareil. Continuer la procédure en effectuant les opérations indiquées plus loin (points 8 ; 9 ; 10).

POUR SÉLECTIONNER ET ACTIVER LE CYCLE DE STÉRILISATION DANS LA CONFIGURATION COMPACT :

a)Appuyer une fois sur la touche COMPACTeco (g3) (touche droite) pour activer le mode COMPACTeco. Le voyant blanc de la touche COMPACTeco (g3) (touche droite) s’allume, indiquant que cette fonction a été sélectionnée. En même temps, l’icône « ECO » (fig. 8) et le temps restant jusqu’à la fin du cycle exprimé en minutes (9) s’affichent à l’écran (g1). La configuration est alors sélectionnée, mais l’appareil ne chauffe pas encore.

REMARQUE : Le chauffage requiert 4 minutes environ alors que la stérilisation nécessite 5 minutes environ.

AVERTISSEMENT : si l’on appuie une deuxième fois sur la touche COMPACTeco (g3) (touche droite), l’appareil revient au mode FULL SIZE, avec l’écran (g1) qui indique le

temps restant correspondant exprimé en minutes (12).

b)Appuyer sur la touche START/STOP cycle (g2) (touche gauche) pour démarrer le cycle de stérilisation. Le voyant rouge de la touche START/STOP (g2) (touche gauche) et le voyant blanc de la touche COMPACTeco (g3) (touche droite) s’allument. L’icône de la vapeur indiquant que l’appareil est en train de chauffer en mode COMPACTeco s’affiche à l’écran (g1).

c)La fin du cycle de stérilisation est indiquée par un signal sonore (5 bips), par l’extinction du voyant rouge de la touche START/STOP cycle (g2) (touche gauche), par l’affichage à l’écran (g1) de « 00 » et par la disparition de l’écran (g1) de l’icône de la vapeur. Le voyant blanc de la touche COMPACTeco (g3) (touche droite) reste allumé. L’écran (g1) reste allumé pendant 20 secondes environ après la fin du cycle. L’écran (g1) affiche « 00 » jusqu’à la pression d’une touche ou à l’extinction de l’appareil. Continuer la procédure en effectuant les opérations indiquées plus loin (points 8 ; 9; 10).

8)Éteindre l’appareil en positionnant l’interrupteur principal ON/ OFF (h) sur 0 (OFF) et débrancher la fiche du câble d’alimentation

(f) de la prise de courant.

9)Attendre quelques minutes avant d’enlever les objets stérilisés en faisant toujours très attention à la vapeur bouillante qui s’échappe et aux gouttes d’eau très chaudes qui pourraient provoquer des brûlures.

Toujours se laver soigneusement les mains avant de manipuler les objets stérilisés.

10)Avant d’effectuer un nouveau cycle de stérilisation, toujours attendre que l’appareil soit complètement froid.

REMARQUE : la stérilisation est maintenue environ 24 heures à l’intérieur du stérilisateur si le couvercle (a) n’est pas retiré. Si le couvercle est retiré (a) pendant ou après l’utilisation, la stérilisation n’est plus assurée.

Configurations MICROWAVE - APPAREIL INTRODUIT DANS UN FOUR À MICRO-ONDES

AVERTISSEMENTS DE SÉCURITÉ

AVERTISSEMENT !

-Les biberons en verre ne peuvent être stérilisés au four à microondes que si la notice le déclare expressément. En cas de doute, contacter le revendeur ou le fabricant.

-Se conformer scrupuleusement aux temps et aux puissances indiqués dans le tableau TEMPS ET PUISSANCES DE STÉRILISATION. Des temps et des puissances inférieurs pourraient ne pas garantir une stérilisation efficace, tandis que des temps et des puissances supérieurs risqueraient d’endommager le stérilisateur avec son contenu ainsi que le four.

L’appareil s’assemble en superposant en séquence à la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes (i), le panier (b) et le couvercle (a). Dans la configuration MICROWAVE, introduire les objets comme indiqué pour la configuration COMPACT (voir premier paragraphe de la section « Préparation et mode d’utilisation de l’appareil. Appareil branché au secteur - configurations FULL SIZE et COMPACT »).

1)Toujours laver et rincer soigneusement les objets à stériliser avant de les mettre dans le stérilisateur.

2)Verser 80 ml d’eau dans la partie centrale de la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes (i) (fig. 10).

3)Positionner les objets à stériliser à l’intérieur (voir le premier paragraphe de cette section).

4)Fermer le stérilisateur avec son couvercle (a) et le mettre dans le four à micro-ondes.

5)Programmer la puissance du four à micro-ondes d’après le tableau ci-dessous.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

1.Laisser refroidir l’appareil avant d’effectuer toute opération.

2.Vider le reste d’eau éventuel (fig. 9) en faisant attention, dans les configurations FULL SIZE et COMPACT, de ne pas mouiller la fiche et/ou le câble d’alimentation (f).

3.Essuyer la plaque chauffante/cuve (e) ou la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes (i), le corps central (c), le panier (b) et le couvercle à l’aide d’un chiffon doux (a).

DÉTARTRAGE

Pendant l’utilisation normale du stérilisateur, un dépôt de calcaire peut se former sur la plaque chauffante/cuve (e) ou sur la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes (i). Ce dépôt est plus ou moins accentué selon la dureté de l’eau. Un dépôt excessif pourrait réduire les performances de l’appareil et finir par l’endommager.

Il est donc conseillé de détartrer le produit au moins une fois par semaine ou toutes les fois que l’on observe un dépôt de calcaire sur la plaque chauffante/cuve (e) ou sur la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes (i).

1.Verser dans la plaque chauffante/cuve (e) ou dans la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes (i) 200 ml d’une solution d’eau et de vinaigre blanc à parts égales.

2.Laisser agir jusqu’à l’élimination complète du calcaire (une nuit entière). Ne jamais allumer le stérilisateur quand la cuve contient la solution d’eau vinaigrée.

3.Vider la plaque chauffante/cuve (e) ou la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes (i)

4. Éliminer les résidus de calcaire éventuels à l’aide d’un chiffon doux puis rincer plusieurs fois en versant dans la plaque chauffante/cuve (e) ou dans la base amovible pour four à micro-ondes

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

WARNUNG!

•Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch bestimmt und muss gemäß der Gebrauchsanleitung verwendet werden. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht für andere als die vorgesehenen Zwecke (Sterilisation von Fläschchen, Beruhigungssaugern und Zubehör für das Stillen Ihres Kindes zuhause). Jede andere Verwendung ist als unsachgemäß anzusehen und somit gefährlich.

•Dieses Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im Hausinneren gedacht und darf daher nicht Sonne, Regen und anderen Witterungseinflüssen ausgesetzt werden.

•Dieses Gerät darf nicht von Kindern gebraucht werden. Das Gerät und das Stromkabel für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren.

•Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine Kinder mit dem Gerät spielen.

•Beim Gebrauch wird das Gerät sehr heiß, da es heißen Dampf produziert.

Achten Sie daher unbedingt darauf, dass der Deckel nicht vom Gerät genommen wird und/oder Ihre Hände oder Ihr Gesicht nicht in die Nähe des Loches im Deckel geraten, aus dem der Dampf austritt. Verbrennungsgefahr.

•Am Ende eines Sterilisationszyklus können das im Gerät enthaltene Wasser und die obere Oberfläche des Gerätes sehr heiß sein. Seien Sie vorsichtig, um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden.

•Warnung: Warten Sie ein paar Minuten, bevor Sie am Ende eines Zyklus den Deckel abnehmen, und seien Sie beim Abnehmen des Deckels besonders vorsichtig, um zu verhindern, dass plötzlich heißer Dampf austritt oder heißes Wasser heraustropft, was zu Verbrennungen führen könnte.

•Verstopfen Sie niemals das Dampfaustrittsloch am oberen Teil des Deckels.

•Tauchen Sie das Gerät, den Stecker und das Netzkabel niemals in Wasser oder eine andere Flüssigkeit.

•Ziehen Sie auf keinen Fall am Stromkabel oder am Gerät selbst, um den Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.

•Stets das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose herausziehen und das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch bzw. bevor es verschoben, wieder aufgestellt, gereinigt oder Wartungsarbeiten unterzogen wird, völlig abkühlen lassen.

•Die von dem Benutzer durchzuführenden Reinigungsund Wartungsarbeiten dürfen nicht von Kindern und/oder Personen mit geistig reduzierten Fähigkeiten oder von Personen, denen es an Kenntnis oder Erfahrung mangelt, durchgeführt werden.

KONFIGURATION MICROWAVE

•Geben Sie nur Gegenstände/Teile zum Sterilisieren in das Gerät, die mikrowellenkompatibel sind. Prüfen Sie die Kompatibilität dieser Gegenstände/Teile beim Hersteller, falls Sie Zweifel haben.

•Keine Produkte aus Nylon oder Metall in das Sterilisiergerät für die Mikrowelle legen.

•Stellen Sie das Sterilisiergerät nicht in herkömmliche Öfen.

•Bei kombinierten Mikrowellen vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Grill und/ oder die Crisp-Funktion ausgeschaltet sind. Stellen Sie außerdem sicher, dass der Grill abgekühlt und der Crisp-Teller nicht im Ofen ist.

•Verwenden Sie am Zyklusende, um das Sterilisiergerät aus der Mikrowelle zu nehmen, geeignete Handschuhe o.ä., um die Hände vor derWärme zu schützen.

•Warnung: Warten Sie ein paar Minuten, bevor Sie am Ende eines Zyklus den Deckel abnehmen, und seien Sie beim Abnehmen des Deckels be-

sonders vorsichtig, um zu verhindern, dass plötzlich heißer Dampf austritt oder heißes Wasser heraustropft, was zu Verbrennungen führen könnte.

WARNUNG

-Das Gerät, sein Zubehör und die Verpackungselemente (Plastikbeutel, Schachteln, Kartons usw.) sind kein Spielzeug und müssen daher stets außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden, da sie potenzielle Gefahrenquellen darstellen.

-Vergewissern Sie sich vorVerwendung des Geräts stets, dass das Produkt und all seine Bestandteile unversehrt sind. Andernfalls benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht und wenden sich bitte an einen Fachmann oder Ihren Händler.

-Die Gegenstände im Geräteinneren sind direkt nach dem Sterilisationszyklus sehr heiß. Stets besonders vorsichtig sein. Lassen Sie sie vor der weiteren Handhabung abkühlen.

-Warnung! Sollteaus irgendeinem Grund während des Betriebs des Gerätesdie Stromzufuhr unterbrochen werden, ist der Sterilisationszyklus unter Umständen nicht abgeschlossen. In diesem Fall könnte die Sterilisation der im Gerät eingesetzten Produkte unzureichend sein.

-Wenn das Sterilisiergerät nicht in Betrieb ist, schalten Sie es stets aus, indem Sie den Hauptschalter ON/OFF auf 0 (OFF) stellen und den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

-Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät zu öffnen oder zu reparieren. Das Gerät kann nur mit Hilfe von Spezialwerkzeugen geöffnet werden. Falls das Netzkabel ersetzt werden muss, ist ausschließlich ein identisches Kabel wie das mitgelieferte zu verwenden, und die Arbeit darf nur von qualifiiziertem Fachpersonal oder von Artsana S.p.A. vorgenommen werden.

-Setzen Sie keine Gegenstände in das Sterilisiergerät, die sich nicht für die Warmsterilisation eignen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Spannung des Sterilisators (siehe Angaben auf dem Schild unter dem Gerät) derjenigen Ihres Stromnetzes entspricht.

-Das Gerät an eine leicht zugängliche Stromsteckdose anschließen.

-Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, ohne den entsprechenden Teilekorb in sein Inneres gestellt zu haben.

-Das Gerät niemals ohne Wasser im Heizbehälter verwenden.

-Geben Sie für die Durchführung des Sterilisationszyklus niemals andere Flüssigkeiten als Trinkwasser in den Behälter.

-Artsana S.p.A. haftet nicht für Personenoder Sachschäden, falls Gegenstände/Teile in das Gerät gegeben wurden, die nicht für die Mikrowelle, Warmsterilisation oder zur Verbindung des Gerätes an die Stromanlage im Einklang mit den geltenden Vorschriften und/oder den Angaben auf dem Typenschild am Gerät oder in der vorliegenden Gebrauchsanleitung geeignet sind.

Modularer, elektrischer Dampfsterilisator

Sehr geehrter Kunde,

wir danken Ihnen und beglückwünschen Sie zu Ihrer Wahl. Dieser modulare, elektrische Dampfsterilisator SterilNatural 3in1 passt sich an die zu sterilisierenden Gegenstände an und nimmt dank der drei Konfigurationen FULL SIZE, COMPACT und MICROWAVE in Ihrer Küche wenig Platz ein.

Er sterilisiert auf natürlicheWeise ausschließlich mit Dampf, ohne die Verwendung von chemischen Stoffen, und ist schnell, sicher und praktisch in der Handhabung.

Die drei Konfigurationen sind mit allen Chicco-Fläschchen und -Milchpumpen (die sich für die Warmsterilisation eignenden Teile) und fast allen anderen im Handel erhältlichen Fläschchen und Milchpumpen anderer Marken kompatibel.

Mithilfe der Taste COMPACTeco (nur in der Konfiguration COMPACT verwendbar) können Sie bis zu circa 25% Zeit und Energie sparen.

Mit der Konfiguration MICROWAVE geht die Sterilisation schneller.

Das leicht zu handhabende Gerät ist für bis zu max 6 Fläschchen à 330 ml/11 oz aller Chicco-Linien mit dem jeweiligen Zubehör (Schraubringe, Fläschchensauger und Flasche) in der Konfiguration FULL SIZE und max 2 Fläschchen à 330 ml/11 oz mit dem jeweiligen Zubehör für die Versionen COMPACT und MICROWAVE geeignet.

Die Anzahl an Fläschchen anderer Marken als Chicco, für die das Gerät geeignet ist, könnte geringer sein als die in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung genannte.

Lesen Sie die Anweisungen vor Gebrauch der Ware sorgfältig, und bewahren Sie sie für spätere Rückfragen auf.

HINWEISE FÜR DIE ANWENDUNG

ZUSAMMENBAU DER KONFIGURATIONEN DES STERILISATORS

Es sind drei verschiedene Konfigurationen des Sterilisators möglich: FULL SIZE, COMPACT und MICROWAVE.

1) FULL SIZE (Abb. 2)

Zur Sterilisation von max 6 Fläschchen à 330 ml/11 oz aller Chic- co-Linien mit dem jeweiligen Zubehör.

Der Zusammenbau erfolgt ausgehend von der Basis (d) in fol-

gender Reihenfolge: Sterilisationsbehälter (c), Korb (b) und Deckel (a).

2) COMPACT (Abb. 3)

Zur Sterilisation von max 2 Fläschchen à 330 ml/11 oz aller Chicco-Linien mit dem jeweiligen Zubehör oder anderer kleiner Gegenstände, z.B. Beruhigungssaugern.

Der Zusammenbau erfolgt ausgehend von der Basis (d) in folgender Reihenfolge: Korb (b) und Deckel (a).

3) MICROWAVE (Abb. 4)

Zur noch schnelleren Sterilisation von max 2 Fläschchen à 330 ml/11 oz aller Chicco-Linien mit dem jeweiligen Zubehör oder anderer kleiner Gegenstände, z.B. Beruhigungssaugern.

Der Zusammenbau erfolgt ausgehend von der entfernbaren Stand-Platte für die Mikrowelle (i) in folgender Reihenfolge: Korb

(b) und Deckel (a).

VORBEREITUNG UND VERWENDUNG DES GERÄTES

Konfigurationen FULL SIZE und COMPACT - AN DEN STROM ANGESCHLOSSENES GERÄT

Bevor Sie die zu sterilisierenden in den Sterilisator geben, waschen Sie diese stets gründlich und spülen Sie sie ab. Sterilisation der FLÄSCHCHENSAUGER:

-Wir empfehlen, die Fläschchensauger an den Schraubringen zu befestigen, bevor Sie sie auf dem Korb (b) positionieren, um die Kontaminierungsgefahr nach der Sterilisation zu verringern.

-Positionieren Sie die Flasche ein wenig schräg über den an den Schraubringen befestigten Fläschchensaugern, damit der Dampf einfacher in das Flascheninnere eintreten kann.

Sterilisation der FLÄSCHCHEN:

-In der Konfiguration FULL SIZE: Geben Sie max 6 Fläschchen à 330 ml/11 oz aller Chicco-Linien in das Innere des Sterilisationsbehälters (c), wobei sich dieser in vertikaler Position, mit dem Hals nach unten, und das jeweilige Zubehör im Korb (b) befinden sollten.

-In der Konfiguration COMPACT: Geben Sie max 2 Fläschchen à 330 ml/11 oz horizontal in das Gerät. Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass das Zubehör nicht die Öffnung des Fläschchens verstopft, damit der Dampf besser eintreten kann.

WARNUNG: Prüfen Sie, dass das Zubehör im Korb (b) nicht das korrekte Schließen des Deckels (a) verhindert.

Führen Sie den ersten Sterilisationszyklus im Leerlauf durch, ohne Gegenstände ins Gerät zu geben.

Das Gerät könnte während der ersten Betriebszyklen einen leichten Geruch abgeben. Dies ist kein Zeichen für Funktionsstörungen, sondern als normal anzusehen.

1)Stellen Sie das Gerät stets außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern und ausschließlich auf stabilen und ebenen Oberflächen, die nicht hitzeund/oder feuchtigkeitsempfindlich sind, und in der Nähe einer für Erwachsene leicht zugänglichen Steckdose auf.

2)Entfernen Sie den Deckel (a), den Korb (b) und den Sterilisationsbehälter (c) (Abb. 5).

3)Geben SieWasser auf die Heizplatte (e), bis die entsprechende Niveau-Marke erreicht ist (Abb. 6)

• In der Konfiguration FULL SIZE: 150 ml

• In der Konfiguration COMPACT: 150 ml

HINWEIS: DieVerwendung von destilliertemWasser reduziert die Bildung von Kalk auf der Heizplatte erheblich.

4)Bauen Sie den Sterilisator in der gewünschten Konfiguration zusammen (für den korrekten Aufbau siehe den Abschnitt „Zusammenbau der Konfigurationen des Sterilisators“).

5)Positionieren Sie die zu sterilisierenden Gegenstände im Gerät (siehe erster Abschnitt dieses Teils).

6)Stecken Sie den Netzstecker (f) in die Netzsteckdose.

7)Stellen Sie den Hauptschalter ON/OFF (h) auf I (ON) und drücken Sie dann auf der Display-Gruppe (g) je nach Funktionsmo-

dus die entsprechende Taste:

ZUR AUSWAHL UND ZUM START DES STERILISATIONSZYKLUS IN DER KONFIGURATION FULL SIZE:

WARNUNG: Starten Sie NIEMALS den Sterilisationszyklus im Modus COMPACTeco, wenn das Gerät in der FULL SI- ZE-Konfiguration verwendet wird.

a)Drücken Sie die Taste START/STOP des Zyklus (g2). Die rote Kontrollleuchte der Taste START/STOP (g2) (linke Taste) leuchtet auf und zeigt an, dass sich das Gerät aufwärmt. Sie leuchtet während des gesamten Sterilisationszyklus. Auf dem Display (g1) erscheint das grüne Dampfsymbol (Abb. 7), und die bis zum Zyklusende verbleibende Zeit in Minuten wird angezeigt (12).

HINWEIS: Das Aufheizen dauert circa 7 Minuten, die Sterilisation circa 5 Minuten.

b)Das Ende des Sterilisationszyklus wird durch ein akustisches Signal (5 Pieptöne), das Ausschalten der roten Kontrollleuchte der Taste START/STOP des Zyklus (g2) (linke Taste), den Hinweis auf dem Display (g1)„00“ und das Verschwinden des Dampfsymbols auf dem Display (g1) angezeigt. Das Licht auf dem Display (g1) bleibt nach dem Ende des Zyklus für circa 20 Sekunden an. Auf dem Display (g1) steht„00“, bis eine Taste gedrückt oder das Gerät ausgeschaltet wird. Gehen Sie nun vor, wie weiter unten beschrieben (Punkte 8; 9; 10).

ZUR AUSWAHL UND ZUM START DES STERILISATIONSZYKLUS IN DER KONFIGURATION COMPACT:

a)Drücken Sie einmal die Taste COMPACTeco (g3) (rechte Taste), um den COMPACTeco-Modus zu aktivieren. Die weiße Kontrollleuchte der Taste COMPACTeco (g3) (rechte Taste) leuchtet auf und zeigt an, dass diese Funktionsweise gewählt wurde. Gleichzeitig erscheinen auf dem Display (g1) das Symbol „ECO“ (Abb. 8) und die verbleibende Zeit bis zum Zyklusende in Minuten (9). Die Konfiguration ist nun gewählt, aber das Gerät heizt sich noch auf.

HINWEIS: Das Aufheizen dauert circa 4 Minuten, die Sterilisation circa 5 Minuten.

WARNUNG: Wird dieTaste COMPACTeco (g3) (rechteTaste) ein weiteres Mal gedrückt, kehrt das Gerät wieder zum Modus FULL SIZE zurück, und auf dem Display (g1)

wird die entsprechende verbleibende Zeit in Minuten angezeigt (12).

b)Drücken Sie die START/STOP-Taste für den Zyklus (g2) (linke Taste), um den Sterilisationszyklus zu starten. Die rote Kontrollleuchte der Taste START/STOP (g2) (linke Taste) und die weiße Kontrollleuchte der Taste COMPACTeco (g3) (rechte Taste) leuchten auf. Auf dem Display (g1) erscheint das Dampfsymbol, das anzeigt, dass sich das Gerät im Funktionsmodus COMPACTeco aufheizt.

c)Das Ende des Sterilisationszyklus wird durch ein akustisches Signal (5 Pieptöne), das Ausschalten der roten Kontrollleuchte der Taste START/STOP des Zyklus (g2) (linke Taste), den Hinweis auf dem Display (g1)„00“ und das Verschwinden des Dampfsymbols auf dem Display (g1) angezeigt. Die weiße Kontrollleuchte derTaste COMPACTeco (g3) (rechteTaste) bleibt an. Das Licht auf dem Display (g1) bleibt nach dem Ende des Zyklus für circa 20 Sekunden an. Auf dem Display (g1) steht„00“, bis eine Taste gedrückt oder das Gerät ausgeschaltet wird. Gehen Sie nun vor, wie weiter unten beschrieben (Punkte 8; 9; 10).

8)Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie den Hauptschalter ON/ OFF (h) auf 0 (OFF) stellen und den Stecker des Netzkabels (f) aus der Steckdose ziehen.

9)Warten Sie einige Minuten, bevor Sie die sterilisierten Gegenstände entnehmen. Achten Sie stets auf möglicherweise austretenden heißen Dampf oder sehr heiße Wassertropfen, die zu Verbrennungen führen könnten.

Waschen Sie sich stets sorgfältig die Hände, bevor Sie die sterilisierten Gegenstände anfassen.

10)Warten Sie stets, bis das Gerät vollständig abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie einen neuen Zyklus starten.

HINWEIS:Wird der Deckel (a) nicht abgenommen, hält die Sterilisation auf des Sterilisators etwa 24 Stunden an. Sollte der Deckel

(a) während oder nach dem Gebrauch angehoben werden, wird die Sterilisationsbeibehaltung unterbrochen.

Konfigurationen MICROWAVE - GERÄT IN DER MIKROWELLE

HINWEISE

WARNUNG!

-Die Glasfläschchen können nur in der Mikrowelle sterilisiert werden, wenn dies in den Anleitungen ausdrücklich erklärt ist. Sollten Sie diesbezüglich Zweifel haben, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler oder den Hersteller.

-Halten Sie sich genau an die in der Tabelle DAUER UND LEISTUNG DER STERILISATION angegebenen Zeitund Leistungswerte. Bei einer geringeren Dauer oder Leistung ist die Sterilisation u.U. nicht wirksam, während eine längere Dauer und höhere Leistung den Sterilisator mit seinem Inhalt und den Ofen selbst beschädigen könnten.

Entfernbare Stand-Platte für die Mikrowelle (i), Korb (b) und Deckel

(a).

In der Konfiguration MICROWAVE geben Sie die Gegenstände wie für die COMPACT-Konfiguration beschrieben ins Gerät (siehe erster Abschnitt des Teiles ) „Vorbereitung und Verwendung des Gerätes. Gerät an das Stromnetz angeschlossen - Konfigurationen FULL SIZE und COMPACT)“).

1)Bevor Sie die zu sterilisierenden Gegenstände in den Sterilisator geben, waschen Sie diese stets gründlich und spülen Sie sie ab.

2)Geben Sie 80 ml Wasser in die Mitte der entfernbaren StandPlatte für die Mikrowelle (i) (Abb. 10).

3)Positionieren Sie die zu sterilisierenden Gegenstände im Gerät (siehe erster Abschnitt dieses Teils).

4)Den Sterilisator mit dem dazugehörigen Deckel (a) schließen und in die Mikrowelle stellen.

5)Die Leistung der Mikrowelle nach den Empfehlungen der nachstehenden Tabelle einstellen.

DAUER UND LEISTUNG DER STERILISATION

REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG

(b) und den Deckel (a) mit einem weichen Tuch ab. KALKENTFERNUNG

Es ist normal, dass sich während des Betriebs des Sterilisiergerätes je nach der Härte des verwendeten Wassers mehr oder weniger Kalk auf der Heizplatte (e) oder in der entfernbaren StandPlatte für die Mikrowelle (i) ablagert. Lagert sich zu viel Kalk ab, kann dies die Leistung des Gerätes beeinträchtigen und es auf lange Sicht beschädigen.

Daher wird empfohlen, mindestens einmal in der Woche bzw. jedes Mal, wenn sich Kalk auf der Heizplatte (e) oder dem entfernbare Gestell für die Mikrowelle (i) abgelagert hat, das Gerät zu entkalken.

Trocknen Sie das Gerät anschließend gründlich mit einem trockenen und weichen Tuch ab, bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.
