To prevent the risk of strangulation: Do not attach additional strings or straps to the toy.
•Remove and discard all packaging and packaging fasteners before giving this toy to a child.
•Do not use the product if any components are broken or missing.
•Before each use, ensure that the product and all its components are not damaged. If damaged or broken, immediately discard the toy.
•Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by Chicco.
Removing and Inserting Batteries
The toy uses 2 AA 1.5 volt batteries. Batteries must only be fitted by an adult. Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.
•The batteries included in the product upon purchase are supplied only for demonstration purposes. Please replace batteries immediately after purchase.
•To replace batteries: loosen the screw holding the battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the battery cover. Insert the new batteries; checking to make sure the polarity (+/-) on the batteries matches the markings on the product. Replace the battery cover and secure with the screw.
•Always remove exhausted batteries from the product to avoid damage by possible battery leakage.
•Always remove batteries when the product is not going to be used for long periods of time.
•It is recommended to use alkaline batteries of the same type in this product.
•Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad) batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
•Always dispose of batteries properly.
•Do not short circuit battery terminals.
Cleaning
The cleaning of the Sleep ‘N Play Musical Puppy must only be carried out by an adult.
•Use a soft damp cloth to clean the toy (electronic panel, frame and hanging toys). Do not submerge the toy in water, in order prevent damage to its electronic circuit.
•Protect the toy against heat, dust, sand, and water.

Cómo retirar y colocar las pilas
Este producto utiliza 2 pilas AA de 1.5 voltios. Las pilas sólo las debe colocar un adulto. Siempre mantenga las pilas y las herramientas fuera del alcance de los niños.
•Las pilas que se suministran con el producto al momento de la compra son sólo a modo de demostración. Cambie las pilas inmediatamente después de comprar el producto.
•Para reemplazar las pilas: afloje el tornillo que sujeta la cubierta de las pilas con un destornillador Philips y retire la cubierta de las baterías. Inserte las nuevas pilas.Verifique para asegurarse de que la polaridad (+/-) de las pilas coincide con las marcas en el producto. Vuelva a colocar la cubierta de las pilas y ajuste el tornillo.
•Retire siempre las pilas usadas del producto para evitar que un posible escape lo dañe.
•Retire siempre las pilas si el producto no será utilizado por un período prolongado.
•Se recomienda usar pilas alcalinas del mismo tipo en este producto.
•No mezcle pilas alcalinas, estándar (de carbono-zinc) o recargables (de níquel-cadmio). No mezcle pilas nuevas con pilas usadas.
•Siempre deseche las pilas en forma apropiada.
•No provoque un cortocircuito en los terminales de las pilas.
Limpieza
La limpieza y el mantenimiento del “Duerma y Juega” sólo deben ser realiza dos por un adulto.
•Utilice un paño húmedo suave para limpiar el juguete. No sumerja el juguete en agua a fin de evitar daños a su circuito electrónico.
•Proteja el juguete del calor, del polvo, de la arena y del agua.
