SMALL CAMERA. BIG IMAGES
The MVX250i and MVX200i digital video cameras may look small and lightweight,
but their features are anything but. With a powerful 1.33 Megapixel CCD and
image quality. Add to this their DiG!C DV signal processing, high-resolution
16:9 mode and innovative Image Stabilizer technology, and you’re guaranteed
sharp and smooth looking footage. And with photographic functions such as
the Print/Share Button, continuous shooting function and selectable AF frames,
you’ll enjoy the functionality of a still camera, too.
HIGH QUALITY MOVIES AND SUPERB
1.33 MEGAPIXEL STILL IMAGES
The MVX250i and MVX200i digital video
cameras use a powerful 1.33 Megapixel
CCD to deliver superior video and
photo quality.
GET CLOSER TO THE ACTION
The key to achieving quality
digital video footage lies in
the quality of the optics used
to capture them. Canon has
a long-standing reputation
for producing high-quality,
professional optics. This superior
quality can be seen clearly in the
optical zoom lenses of the MVX250i
(18x) and MVX200i (14x). Delivering
superb definition and contrast, these
powerful zooms extend each camera’s
magnification to reveal incredible details,
too small to be seen by the naked eye.
FILM STEADY FOOTAGE AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON
Canon’s innovative Image Stabilizer system instantly compensates for camera
shake created when shooting hand-held, full telephoto, or on-the-move footage.
In Canon’s digital videos, Image Stabilizer technology is particularly effective while
panning and zooming, making your videos look steady and natural.

MAKE COMPOSITION AND VIEWING EVEN EASIER
Use the large 2.5" colour LCD screen to compose shots with ease. Alternatively use the
colour viewfinder to save power if the battery is low. Shooting can be further enhanced
when using the LCD screen by tilting the screen to allow for low or high angle shots.
Once you’ve finished shooting, the LCD screen is perfect for reviewing footage.
16:9
SHOOT WIDESCREEN
FOOTAGE
Record high-resolution
video in the 16:9 format for
playback on widescreen
TVs. Unlike systems which
simply record a vertically
stretched picture, the
MVX250i and MVX200i use
the full width of the CCD,
retaining image quality
and providing a larger
horizontal angle of view
at the wide end.
EASY AND FAST PHOTO PRINTING
These are the first digital video cameras to include a
Print/Share Button. Direct printing and file transferring
can be done easily by simply connecting to printer or
PC and pressing the button.
ENJOY THE FEATURES OF A DIGITAL STILL CAMERA
Take multiple shots with one press of a button. You can shoot at either five or three frames
per second in SXGA size or high speed continuous shooting. The MVX250i and MVX200i
also offer an Auto Exposure Bracketing function and let you select your autofocus points.
