1 Introduction

Scope of the user guide

This user guide only describes the telecare functions of the
Doro Secure 680. The full version of the user manual is available
at the following address: www.doro.co.uk/Support/

NOTICE!

The services described in this user guide are only supporting
functions that might not always be available:
– The GSM network, therefore the voice and GPRS data,

might not always be available.

– Be aware that depending on the circumstances, the GPS

locating can take some time. The inavailability of a GPS
signal might cause the GPS locating to not always work.

– The battery capacity of the Doro Secure 680 is limited.

Make sure that the battery is always charged if assistance
is needed. When using the GPS locating, charge the
battery at least every 2 days.

– The user of the Doro Secure 680 might not be properly

identified, if the SIM card is replaced.

– To avoid unwanted roaming costs please change the

default setup in the Doro Secure 680. Go to Settings -
General - Network setup - Network mode: change to Manual.
