QUICK START
1
Position the sensor at chest level
and away from your pillow.
4
Place the sensor across the
mattress with the dark side down.
4
Cover the sensor with your fitted
sheet and plug into a wall socket.
1. Download the Beddit app for
your iPhone from the AppStore.
The app will guide you
through the following steps
to complete the setup of your
BedditSleepMonitor and
is needed to collect sleep
measurements.
The app will be oered only in the
English language.
2. Place the sensor under the
sheets with the dark, rubber side
facing down.
It will be easier to place your
sensor if you remove the bedding
from your sleeping area. If you
have a mattress pad or protector,
place the sensor on top of it so
that there is nothing between the
sensor and your bedsheet.
3. Position the sensor at chest
level so that your pillows will
not cover it.
The sensor should be centered
around your sleeping area. If you
sleep with someone, position the
sensor on your side of the bed.
A portion of the cable will rest on
top of the mattress. Keep the end
of the sensor away from the edge
of the bed.

4. Plug the USB cable and its
provided power adapter into a
wall socket and cover the sensor
with a fitted sheet.
To avoid tripping, route the cable
to the side and behind the bed.
Make sure that the cable is not
bent awkwardly or strained.
5. Use the Beddit app to connect
to your sensor using Bluetooth.
If you aren’t sure which device to
select, you can find the ID number
of your BedditSleepMonitor on
the cable close to the sensor.

Important handling information
1. Do not wash the sensor. Doing
so will ruin your device and void
your warranty.
2. To wash the fabric sleeve, detach
the plug from the power adapter
and remove the sensor and
cable from the sleeve through
the slit on the dark, rubber side
of the sleeve. Aer the sensor
has been removed, it is safe to
clean the sleeve by hand wash
and air dry only. Do not wash
the sleeve in a washing machine
or dry it in a dryer. Doing so will
ruin it and void your warranty.
Be sure the sleeve is completely
dry before reinserting the sensor
into the sleeve.
3. When inserting the sensor into
the sleeve, the cable should
go through the long slit on
the sleeve’s dark, rubber side
and come out of the opening
at the end of the sleeve. The
black side of the cable (where
it meets the sensor) should
face down. If placed properly,
the sleep monitor will lie flat in
the sleeve.
6
4. When making your bed, use
caution to avoid damaging
the cable or the sensor. If you
have an adjustable mattress
or a rollaway bed, do not fold
the sleep monitor or its cable
into the bed.
5. Your BedditSleepMonitor
includes a power adapter. Using
the USB port on a laptop or
with other electronics could
result in damage to your sleep
monitor, electronics, or data.
6. Your BedditSleepMonitor
works best if no metallic (or
conductive) objects are placed
on top of the sensor, because
these may lead to inaccurate
results and false in-bed
detection.
7. Do not disassemble or attempt
to repair the sensor, cable, or
power adapter. If there is a
defect covered by the warranty,
we will replace the defective
part or refund your money.
See the warranty terms and
limitations.
Visit beddit.com/faq for additional
support.
Important safety information
Failure to follow these safety
instructions could result in fire,
electric shock, injury, or damage
to your BedditSleepMonitor or
other property. Before using your
sleep monitor, read all the safety
information below.
Not a medical device The
BedditSleepMonitor is not
a medical device. It is not
designed or intended for use
in the diagnosis of disease or
other conditions, or for the
cure, mitigation, treatment, or
prevention of a disease.
The BedditSleepMonitor should
not be used as a baby monitor. It
will not warn you of any sleeping
problems your infant may have,
such as if your infant stops
breathing, nor will it prevent
sudden infant death syndrome.
Trip hazards Use caution when
placing the cable of the sleep
monitor to avoid trip hazards.
Choking hazards Do not use the
BedditSleepMonitor with infants
or children. Death or injury could
result from the sensor or cable
entangling around a child’s neck.
If your sleeping habits put you at
risk of entangling the sensor or
cable around your neck, do not
use the BedditSleepMonitor.
Exposure to liquid Don’t use the
power adapter in wet locations,
such as near a sink, bathtub, or
shower stall, and don’t connect
or disconnect the power adapter
with wet hands.
Repairing Do not disassemble
or attempt to repair the sensor,
cable, or power adapter, because
there are no repairs that can be
performed safely at home.
Power adapter safety Always
allow adequate ventilation
around the power adapter and
use care when handling it. Use
common sense to avoid situations
where your skin is in prolonged
contact with the power adapter
when it’s plugged into a power
source. For example, don’t sleep
with the power adapter. Take
special care if you have a physical
condition that aects your ability
to detect heat against your body.

DÉMARRAGE RAPIDE
1
Placez le capteur au niveau
de la poitrine et éloigné de
votre coussin.
14
Placez le capteur sur le matelas,
côté sombre vers le bas.
4
Couvrez le capteur de votre
drap et branchez-le sur une
prise secteur.
1. Téléchargez l’app Beddit
pour votre iPhone à partir de
l’AppStore.
L’app vous guide lors des étapes
de configuration de votre
BedditSleepMonitor et est
nécessaire pour recueillir les
mesures du sommeil.
L’app sera oerte uniquement
en anglais.

Cela l’endommagerait
et annulerait votre garantie.
Assurez-vous que le manchon
est complètement sec avant d’y
réinsérer le capteur.
16
3. Lorsque vous insérez le capteur
dans le manchon, le câble
doit passer dans la fente
allongée sur le côté sombre
en caoutchouc du manchon et
ressortir par l’ouverture située
à l’extrémité du manchon. Le
côté noir du câble (où il rejoint
le capteur) doit être placé
face vers le bas. S’il est placé
correctement, le moniteur
de sommeil est plat dans le
manchon.
4. Quand vous faites votre lit,
prenez garde à ne pas abimer
le câble ou le capteur. Si vous
possédez un lit pliant ou un
matelas que vous roulez, ne
repliez pas le lit en laissant le
moniteur de sommeil ou son
câble à l’intérieur.
5. Votre BedditSleepMonitor
inclut un adaptateur secteur.
Utiliser le port USB sur un
ordinateur portable ou tout
autre appareil électronique
peut abimer votre moniteur
de sommeil, vos appareils
électroniques ou vos données.
6. Votre BedditSleepMonitor
donne tout son potentiel si
aucun objet métallique (ou
conducteur) n’est placé sur le
capteur, car cela peut entraîner
des résultats inexacts et une
fausse détection dans le lit.
7. Ne démontez pas, ou ne tentez
pas, de réparer le capteur,
le câble ou l’adaptateur
secteur. Si un défaut couvert
par la garantie venait à être
trouvé, nous remplacerons
la pièce défectueuse ou vous
rembourserons votre achat.

ainsi que ses limitations.

assistance supplémentaire.
