SAFETY MEASURES
1. Never repair the television yourself. If something seems strange, unplug the television and seek guidance from the dealer where you purchased the device. The televi sion contains a lot of sensitive electronic components, which you could damage or break if you open the televi sion or attempt to repair it.
2. Do not expose the television to high levels of moisture, dust, steam, oil, smoke, direct sunlight and etc.
3. Do not use solvents or other chemical reagents. Wipe the television with a soft cloth if it gets dirty.
4. Do not leave the television in extremely hot or cold places. The allowable temperature range for storage of the device is from 25 to +60°C. The allowable operating temperature range is from 0 to +40°C.
5. Use only the adapters and power sources indicated in these instructions.
6. Turn off the television as soon as you are finished watch ing it and disconnect the adapter from the AC outlet.
7. Do not throw the television or subject it to strong mechanical influence.
Drivers of motor vehicles should no watch the television or attempt to adjust it while driving (for safety rea sons). Remember that in some countries this is prohib ited by law. The appearance of several light or dark dots on the screen does not mean that the television is broken; this is normal for liquid crystal technology.

POWER SOURCES
This television can operate on the following power sources: a) AC electrical power (connection though AC adapter); b) Cigarette lighter jack for 12 V negativelygrounded DC car power systems (connect through the cigarette lighter jack with a car that has a 12 V direct current negativelygrounded power system using the car adapter).

REMOTE CONTROL UNIT Note
1. When using the remote control unit aim it at the remote control sensor on the TV body
2. Do not expose the remote control unit to water, moisture, shock or falls.
3. When using the remote control unit, the interval between button pushes should be less than two seconds.
1. Channel search buttons (CH)
To change to a higher number channel, press the CH

button.
To change to a lower number channel, press the CH

button.
2. Volume adjustment buttons (VOL)
To increase the volume, press VOL+

To decrease the volume, press VOL

3. MUTE button
If you want to turn off the sound, press this button. Press the button again to restore the sound.
4. Image MODE button
Press the MODE button repeatedly to choose the desired image mode: standard, soft, bright, light.
5. Numerical buttons
Using these buttons you can choose from 255 channels (from 0 to 254). If the channel number consists of one digit, then use the 09 buttons. If the channel number consists of two digits, then first press the / buttons until the "" symbol appears on the screen, after which use the 09 buttons to enter the desired channel number. If the channel number consists of three digits, then press the / button twice  the "" symbol should appear on the display, after which you can use the 09 buttons to enter the channel number.

8. Image format button
16:9  standard; 16:9  enlarged; 4:3  standard.
9. Previous channel button
Press this button to return to the previous channel.
10. AUTOsearch button
Press and hold the AUTO button for several seconds and automatic channel searching will begin.
11. VIDEO mode button
To choose Video or TV, press the VIDEO.
12. Calendar button (CALE)
Press the CALE button. Use the CH

/CH$and
VOL+

/VOL $buttons to set the current year and
month.
13. Menu language selection button (LANG)
Press the LANG button to choose the menu language: English, Italian, Spanish, Portugal, German, Arabic, Chinese or Russian.
14. Power off timer button (TIMER)
Press the timer button repeatedly until the desired amount of minutes until power off is displayed on the screen; after the timer gets to zero, the television will automatically shut off. The maximum number of minutes is  120.
15. Power on/off button (POWER)
Use the POWER button to turn the television on/off.
16. Button for displaying the current channel number (CALL)
To reveal the channel number on the screen, press the CALL button.
17. MENU button
Press the menu button to choose one of the various menus: Picture, Option, Clock, System, Preset.

SETUP YOUR TV
Press the Menu button to enter setup menu:
PICTURE
Adjust the image quality. Press the CH button to choose the mode: CONTRAST, BRIGHT, COLOR, SHARP. Then use the VOL+ and VOL buttons to adjust the image quality; increase (V+) or decrease (V) the parameters.
OPTION
Press the CH button to choose the mode: LANGUAGE, CAL ENDAR, GAME
LANGUAGE
Using the VOL+ and VOL buttons you can choose the menu language: English, Italian, Spanish, Portugal, German, Arabic, Chinese or Russian.
CALENDAR Using the VOL+ and VOL buttons enter the "calendar" menu. Press the CH buttons to choose the year, press VOL buttons to choose month. Press the POWER button to exit the calendar.
GAME Using the VOL+ and VOL buttons enter the "game" menu. To control the figures, use VOL (move left), VOL+ (move right), CH (speed up) and CH+ (rotate 360°). Press the POWER button to exit the game.
CLOCK Press the CH button to choose the mode: Time, On Time, Off time, Attention, Channel time, Position. Use the VOL  button to set the hours and the VOL+ button to set the minutes. Note: set the current time first and then the other parame ters.
SYSTEM
Adjust the display system. Press the CH buttons, choose the mode: Color system, Sound system, Blue background, Picture mode.
Use the VOL+ and VOL buttons to choose the sound best suited for the current channel.
Using the VOL+ and VOL buttons you can turn the blue background on/off when there is no signal.
Press the CH button to choose one of Picture mode param eters: Horizontal, Vertical, Zoom. Then use the VOL+ and VOL but tons to set the desired parameters for each menu item.
PRESET
Use the CH button to choose one of these parameters: Program number (Position), Remember, Band, Swap, Fine Tuning, Search, Autosearch. Then use the VOL+ and VOL buttons to set the desired parameters according to each menu item.
USING YOUR TV
Connect the television to the AC power supply and press the POWER button in order to turn on the television. Extend the antenna fully and point it in the needed direction. Choose the desired channel using the CH
#
/CH$buttons or
numerical keys on the remote control unit. Set the desired volume using the VOL+
#
/VOL $buttons. Change the length, angle and direction of the antenna in order to achieve better image quality.
Note
• Use an external antenna in areas with poor signal recep
tion.
• Stow the antenna after turning off the television.
USING AN EXTERNAL ANTENNA
For best signal reception, connect the television to an exter nal antenna suing the antenna adapter.
LISTENING WITH HEADPHONES
Headphones (3.5 mm) connect to the jack located on the backside panel of the television.
MALFUNCTIONS AND SOLUTIONS
Carryout the following recommendations before contacting a service center.
