nuevo. Ha adquirido un producto de alta
calidad.
Las instrucciones de uso forman parte del producto
y contienen indicaciones importantes acerca de
la seguridad, el uso y el desecho de este aparato.
Antes de usar el producto, familiarícese con todas
las indicaciones de manejo y de seguridad. Utilice
el producto únicamente como se describe y para
los ámbitos de aplicación indicados. Entregue todos
los documentos cuando transfi era el producto a
terceros.
Uso previsto
Ultimate Speed ULGD3.8A1 es un cargador de
batería para vehículos con varios niveles diseñado
para la carga y la carga de mantenimiento de baterías
de plomo de 6V o 12V (baterías) con solución de
electrolitos (WET), con esteras de absorción de
electrolitos (AGM) o con electrolitos en gel (GEL).
¡El aparato no es apto para la carga de baterías de
iones de litio! El aparato no está previsto para su uso
industrial y solo es apto para su utilización en interiores.
El fabricante no se responsabiliza por los daños derivados de una utilización contraria al uso previsto.

Manejo

Antes de la puesta en marcha
♦ Antes de conectar el cargador, consulte las
instrucciones de uso de la batería.
♦ También deben observarse las instrucciones

Conexión
♦ Si la batería está montada de forma fi ja en el ve-
hículo, antes de iniciar el proceso de carga y de
carga de mantenimiento, desconecte primero el
cable de conexión del polo negativo (negro) del
vehículo del polo negativo de la batería. Por norma
general, el polo negativo de la batería suele
estar conectado a la carrocería del vehículo.
♦ Conecte la pinza de conexión del polo positivo
(r
ojo) del cargador al polo positivo de la
batería.
♦ Conecte la pinza de conexión del polo negati-

o (negro) al polo negativo de la batería.
♦ Conecte el cable de red

Modo STANDBY/medición de la

Tras la conexión a la toma de corriente, el aparato
se activa en modo STANDBY. Se ilumina el indicador
de modo standby . Si las pinzas de conexión están
conectadas, se muestra la tensión de la batería en la
pantalla LC (indicador de tensión
del indicador de estado aparecen vacíos.
Si la tensión medida es inferior a 3,8 V o superior
a 15 V, la batería no se cargará. En la pantalla
aparece brevemente el mensaje de error "Err".
El aparato se activa en modo standby.
Batería de 6 V:
Si la tensión medida de la batería está en un rango
de 3,7 a 7,3 V, solo puede seleccionarse el
programa 1.
Baterías de 12 V:
Si la tensión medida de la batería está en un rango
crítico de 7,3 a 10,5 V, el aparato comprueba si se
trata de una batería de 6 V totalmente cargada o de
una batería de 12 V descargada. Pulse el selector
de programas
El aparato realiza una medición de control durante
aprox. 90 s. En la pantalla se muestra lo siguiente:

7,3 y 7,5 V, la batería de 12 V estará defectuosa.

programas de carga de 12 V.

► Si la tensión medida de la batería está en un

Carga de mantenimiento
Tal y como se describe en los programas, el aparato
dispone de una carga automática de mantenimiento.
Según la caída de tensión de la batería –por su
autodescarga–, el cargador reacciona con una
corriente de carga distinta. La batería puede
permanecer conectada al cargador durante un
tiempo más prolongado.

Función de protección del aparato
Si se produce una situación anómala, como un
ES
cortocircuito, una caída crítica de la tensión, un
circuito abierto o una polarización inversa de las
pinzas, el cargador desconecta el sistema electrónico y restablece inmediatamente el sistema a su
posición básica para evitar daños.
Si el aparato se calienta demasiado durante el
proceso de carga, se disminuye automáticamente
la potencia de salida, lo que protege al aparato
contra daños.
Mantenimiento y limpieza
¡ADVERTENCIA! Desenchufe siempre
la clavija de red de la toma de
enchufe antes de realizar cualquier
tarea en el cargador.

Garantía
Este aparato tiene 3 años de garantía desde
la fecha de compra. El aparato ha sido fabricado cuidadosamente y examinado en
profundidad antes de su entrega. Guarde
el comprobante de caja como justifi cante de
compra. Si necesitara hacer uso de la garantía, póngase en contacto por teléfono con su
punto de servicio habitual. Este es el único
modo de garantizar un envío gratuito.
La garantía cubre los defectos de fabricación o
del material, pero no los daños de transporte, las
piezas sujetas a desgaste ni los daños sufridos por
las piezas frágiles (p. ej., interruptores o pilas). Este
producto ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para el
uso particular y no para el uso industrial. En caso
de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de la
fuerza y apertura del aparato por personas ajenas
a nuestros centros de asistencia técnica autorizados, la garantía pierde su validez. Sus derechos
legales no se ven limitados por esta garantía. La
duración de la garantía no se prolonga por hacer
uso de ella.
Este principio rige también para las piezas sustituidas
y reparadas. Si después de la compra del aparato,
se detecta la existencia de daños o de defectos al
desembalarlo, deben notifi carse de inmediato o,
como muy tarde, dos días después de la fecha de
compra. Cualquier reparación que se realice una vez
fi nalizado el plazo de garantía está sujeta a costes.

Il manuale di istruzioni è parte integrante del presente
prodotto. Esso contiene importanti indicazioni per la
sicurezza, l’uso e lo smaltimento. Prima di utilizzare il
prodotto, familiarizzarsi con tutte le indicazioni relative ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo come descritto e per i campi d’impiego indicati. In caso di cessione del prodotto a terze persone,
consegnare anche tutta la relativa documentazione.
Uso conforme
L’Ultimate Speed ULGD3.8A1 è un caricabatterie
per auto a più fasi, idoneo per caricare e mantenere
in carica accumulatori (batterie) al piombo da 6V
o 12V con soluzione elettrolitica (WET), con
microfi bra di vetro assorbente (AGM) o con
elettrolita in gel (GEL).
L’apparecchio non è indicato per caricare batterie
agli ioni di litio! L’apparecchio non è adatto per
l’uso commerciale ed è indicato solo per l’uso in
luoghi chiusi.
Il produttore non si assume alcuna responsabilità
per i danni derivanti da uso non conforme.

L’apparecchio è indicato solo per l’uso in
ambienti interni.
■ Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai
bambini di almeno 8 anni di età e da per

■ Non operare l’apparecchio in caso di danni al

Funzionamento

Misurazione tensione batteria
Dopo il collegamento all’alimentazione di corrente
l’apparecchio è nella modalità STANDBY. Si accende la visualizzazione standby . Con il morsetto di collegamento collegato viene visualizzata la
tensione della batteria nel display LCD (visualizzazione tensione
di stato sono vuoti.
Se la tensione misurata è sotto 3,8 V o sopra
15 V la batteria non viene caricata. Nel display
compare brevemente il messaggio di errore “Err”.
L’apparecchio passa alla modalità standby.
Batteria da 6 V:
se viene misurata una batteria nell’intervallo di
tensione da 3,7 a 7,3 V, è possibile selezionare
solo il programma 1.
Batteria da 12 V:
se viene riconosciuta una batteria nell’intervallo
di tensione critico da 7,3 a 10,5 V, l’apparecchio
verifi ca se è presente una batteria da 6 V completamente carica o una batteria da 12 V scarica. Per

V, si ha una batteria da 12 V. Il processo di carica inizia con il funzionamento a impulsi per la riattivazione.
L’indicatore di tensione lampeggia. Se si sono
raggiunti i 10,5 V, l’apparecchio passa nelle altre
fasi di carica. La riattivazione è identica in tutti i
programmi di carica da 12 V.

► Se viene riconosciuta una batteria nell'intervallo
di tensione da 3,7 a 7,3 V

Mantenimento in carica
Come descritto alla voce Programmi, l’apparecchio
è dotato di una funzione automatica di mantenimento in carica. In funzione del calo di tensione della
batteria il caricabatterie reagisce, mediante uno
scaricamento automatico, con una diversa corrente
di carica. La batteria può rimanere collegata al
caricabatterie per più tempo.

Funzione di protezione
dell’apparecchio
Non appena si manifesta una situazione diff erente
come cortocircuito, calore di tensione critico
durante il processo di carica, circuito di corrente

Questo apparecchio è garantito per tre anni
a partire dalla data di acquisto. L’apparecchio
è stato prodotto con cura e debitamente collaudato prima della consegna. Conservare lo scontrino come prova di acquisto. Nei casi contemplati dalla garanzia, mettersi in comunicazione
telefonicamente con il centro di assistenza più
vicino. Solo in tal modo è possibile garantire
una spedizione gratuita della merce.
La garanzia vale solo per difetti del materiale o di
fabbricazione, ma non per i danni da trasporto,
danni alle parti soggette a usura o alle parti fragili,
come per es. interruttori o accumulatori. Il prodotto
è destinato esclusivamente all’uso domestico e non
a quello commerciale. La garanzia decade in caso

Utilização correta
O Ultimate Speed ULGD3.8A1 é um carregador de
baterias múltiplo para automóvel, adequado para o
carregamento e a manutenção da carga de acumuladores de 6V ou 12V (baterias) com solução de
eletrólito (WET), com esteiras absorventes de
eletrólitos (AGM) ou com eletrólitos gelifi cados (GEL).
O aparelho não é adequado para o carregamento
de acumuladores de iões de lítio! O aparelho não
foi concebido para o uso comercial e só pode ser
utilizado em espaços interiores.
O fabricante não se responsabiliza por quaisquer
danos causados pela utilização incorreta.

Operação
Antes da colocação em funcionamento

Como descrito no ponto sobre os programas, o
aparelho possui uma carga de manutenção automática. Dependendo da queda de tensão da
bateria, o carregador reage com diversas correntes
de carregamento. A bateria pode fi car ligada ao
carregador por bastante tempo.

Função de proteção do aparelho
Logo que ocorra uma situação irregular, como curto-
-circuito, queda de tensão crítica durante o processo
de carregamento, circuito aberto ou ligação invertida dos terminais de saída, o carregador desliga o
sistema eletrónico e repõe imediatamente o sistema
na posição básica, para evitar danos.
Se o aparelho aquecer demasiadamente durante o
processo de carregamento, a potência de saída é

automaticamente reduzida. Isto protege o aparelho
de danos.
Manutenção e limpeza
Danos e defeitos que possam eventualmente existir
no momento da compra devem ser imediatamente
comunicados, após retirar o aparelho da embalagem, o mais tardar dois dias após a data de
compra. Expirado o período da garantia, quaisquer
reparações necessárias estão sujeitas a pagamento.

Intended use
The Ultimate Speed ULGD3.8A1 is a multi-stage
car battery charger that is suitable for charging
and trickle charging up of 6V or 12V lead-acid
batteries (batteries) with electrolyte solution (WET),
electrolyte absorbent mats (AGM) or gel electrolyte
(GEL).
This appliance is not suitable for charging lithium-ion
batteries. The is not intended for commercial use
and is for indoor use only.

After connection to the grid, the appliance is on

If a battery is recognised in the critical voltage
range of between 7.3–10.5 V, the appliance
checks whether a fully charged 6 V battery, or a
discharged 12 V battery is present. After pressing
the program selection button

for about 90 sec.

Retention charge
As described under programmes, this appliance
features the automatic retention charge. Depending
on the voltage drop of the battery, caused by
selfdischarge, the appliance reacts with diff erent
charge currents.
The battery can remain connected to the charger
for longer periods of time.
Appliance protection function
The charger switches the electronics off and switches
the system instantly to the basic setting, as soon as
there is an abnormal situation, such as short circuit,
critical voltage drop during charging, broken circuit
or swapped connection of the connector clamps is
detected.
Should the appliance become too hot during charging, the output current is automatically reduced. This
protects the appliance from damage.

Das Ultimate Speed ULGD3.8A1 ist ein mehrstufi ges Kfz-Batterieladegerät, dass zur Aufl adung und
Erhaltungsladung von 6V- oder 12V-Blei-Akkus
(Batterien) mit Elektrolyt-Lösung (WET), mit Elektrolyt
absorbierenden Matten (AGM) oder mit gelförmigem
Elektrolyt (GEL) geeignet ist.
Das Gerät ist nicht zur Aufl adung von LithiumIonen-Akkus geeignet! Das Gerät ist nicht für den
gewerblichen Einsatz und nur zur Verwendung in
Innenräumen bestimmt.
Für aus bestimmungswidriger Verwendung entstandene
Schäden übernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung.

Bedienung
Vor der Inbetriebnahme
♦ Vor dem Anschluss des Ladegerätes ist die

♦ Weiterhin sind die Vorschriften des Fahrzeug-

stellers bei einer ständig im Fahrzeug angeschlossenen Batterie zu beachten. Sichern Sie
das Kfz, schalten Sie die Zündung aus.
♦ Reinigen Sie die Batteriepole. Achten Sie darauf,
dass Ihr

♦ Trennen Sie vor dem Aufl ade- und Erhaltungs-
ladevorgang, bei einer ständig im Fahrzeug
angeschlossenen Batterie, zuerst das MinusPol-Anschlusskabel (schwarz) des Fahrzeugs
vom Minus-Pol der Batterie. Der Minus-Pol der
Batterie ist in der Regel mit der Karosserie des
Fahrzeugs verbunden.
♦ Klemmen Sie die Pluspol-Anschlussklemme (rot)
des Ladegeräts an den Pluspol der Batterie.
♦ Klemmen Sie die Minuspol-Anschlussklemme

♦ Schließen Sie das Netzkabel

12 V-Batterie vorliegt. Drücken Sie die Programmwahltaste

Erhaltungsladung
Wie unter Programme beschrieben verfügt das
Gerät über eine automatische Erhaltungsladung.
Abhängig vom Spannungsabfall der Batterie –durch
Selbstentladung – reagiert das Ladegerät mit unterschiedlichem Ladestrom. Die Batterie kann über längere
Zeit an das Ladegerät angeschlossen bleiben.

Geräteschutzfunktion
Sobald eine abweichende Situation wie Kurzschluss,
kritischer Spannungsabfall während des Ladevorgangs,
off ener Stromkreis oder umgekehrter Anschluss der Ausgangsklemmen auftritt, schaltet das Batterieladegerät
die Elektronik aus und stellt das System unmittelbar in
die Grundstellung zurück, um Schäden zu vermeiden.
Sollte das Gerät während des Ladevorgangs zu
heiß werden, wird automatisch die Ausgangsleistung
verringert. Dies schützt das Gerät vor Beschädigung.
