Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungs-
anleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit,
Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit
allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur
wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Bewahren Sie diese

vorgesehen für die Verwendung mit anderen Flüssigkeiten oder Lebensmitteln.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung in gewerblichen oder industriellen
Bereichen vorgesehen. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht
bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung, unsachgemäßen Reparaturen, unerlaubt
vorgenommenen Veränderungen oder Verwendung nicht zugelassener Ersatzteile
sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheitshinweise
GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sockel mit den elektrischen
Anschlüssen niemals mit Wasser in Berührung kommt! Lassen
Sie den Sockel erst vollständig trocknen, wenn er versehentlich
feucht geworden ist.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur mit dem mitgelieferten Sockel.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel niemals
nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder anderweitig beschädigt werden kann.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort
von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Um das Gerät vollständig vom Netz zu trennen, muss der Netz-
stecker aus der Netzsteckdose gezogen werden. Daher sollte
das Gerät so aufgestellt werden, dass stets ein unbehin derter
Zugang zur Netzsteckdose gewährleistet ist, damit in Notsituati
onen der Netzstecker sofort abgezogen werden kann.

► Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere
sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes oder
heruntergefallenes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
► Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten
Fachbetrieben oder dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch
unsachgemäße Reparaturen können Gefahren für den
Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
► Es darf keine Flüssigkeit auf die Gerätesteckverbindung
überlaufen.

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Erhitzen Sie Wasser immer nur bei geschlossenem Deckel,
andernfalls funktioniert die Abschaltautomatik nicht. Kochendes Wasser kann dann über den Rand herausspritzen.
► Es können heiße Dampfschwaden entweichen. Die Kanne ist zu-
dem im Betrieb sehr heiß. Tragen Sie daher Topf-Handschuhe.
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät stabil und senkrecht steht,
bevor Sie dieses einschalten. Kochendes Wasser kann ein
unstabil stehendes Gerät zum Umstürzen bringen.
► Öffnen Sie nicht den Deckel, während das Wasser kocht.
► Geräte können von Personen mit reduzierten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an
Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des
Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren verstanden haben.
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich

► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates
Fernwirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.
► Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebes niemals
unbeaufsichtigt.
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der
Netzstecker nicht mit heißen Quellen, wie Kochplatten oder
offenen Flammen, in Berührung kommen.

Inbetriebnahme
Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:
▯ Wasserkocher
▯ Kalkfiltereinsatz
▯ Sockel
▯ Bedienungsanleitung
HINWEIS
► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).
♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial vom Gerät.
LEBENSGEFAHR!
► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen von Kindern verwendet
werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
Verpackung entsorgen
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

► Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantie-
zeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß

An der Unterseite des Sockels befindet sich eine Kabelaufwicklung . Mit

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel immer durch die dafür vorgesehene
Aussparung am hinteren Teil des Sockels

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass das
Gerät, der Netzstecker und das Netzkabel sich in einem einwandfreien Zustand
befinden und alle Verpackungsmaterialien vom Gerät entfernt sind.
Bevor Sie das erste Mal Wasser zum Verzehr zubereiten, müssen Sie die Kanne
zunächst reinigen. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
♦ Öffnen Sie den Deckel
♦ Befüllen Sie die Kanne

► Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet. Wenn das Gerät
versehentlich eingeschaltet wird, ohne dass sich Wasser in der Kanne
befindet, schaltet das Gerät sich automatisch aus.

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung abkühlen.
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Benutzen Sie keine scheuernden oder ätzenden Reinigungsmittel. Diese
können die Oberfläche angreifen und das Gerät irreparabel beschädigen.
♦ Reinigen Sie alle Außenflächen und das Netzkabel mit einem leicht ange-
feuchteten Spültuch. Trocknen Sie das Gerät auf jeden Fall gut ab, bevor
Sie es erneut verwenden. Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben
Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich keine
Spülmittelreste am und im Gerät befinden, bevor Sie es wieder in Betrieb
nehmen.
♦ Reinigen Sie das Innere der Kanne

■ Reinigen Sie nach dem Entkalken das Gerät mit viel klarem Wasser.

♦ Öffnen Sie den Deckel .
♦ Greifen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz

this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety

Safety information
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Ensure that the base containing the electrical connections
never comes into contact with water! Allow the base to dry
completely if it accidentally becomes wet.
► Use the appliance only with the supplied base.
► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp
when the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot be trapped or damaged in any way.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► To disconnect the appliance completely from the mains power,
the power plug must be removed from the mains socket. The
appliance should be set up in such a way that you have unrestricted access to the mains socket at all times, and can pull
out the plug immediately in an emergency.
► Check the appliance for visible external damage before use.
Do not operate an appliance that has been damaged or
dropped.
► All repairs on the appliance must be carried out by autho-
rised specialist companies or Customer Service. Improper
repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any
warranty claims.
► Do not allow any liquid to run over the appliance’s plug
connections.
► Never immerse the appliance under water or any other
liquids! There is a risk of fatal electric shock if residual
liquids come into contact with live components during
operation.

► Keep lid closed when boiling water, otherwise the automatic
switch-off cannot work. Boiling water could then splash out
over the rim.
► Bursts of hot steam may be released. The jug also becomes
extremely hot during use. It is therefore always best to wear
oven mitts when handling the jug.
► Ensure that the appliance is stable and vertical before
switching it on. Boiling water can cause the appliance to
fall over if it is not set up stably.
► Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
► Appliances may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or a lack of experience and/
or knowledge only if they are supervised or have been
instructed how to use the appliance safely and have understood the potential risks.
► This appliance may be used by children aged 8years or
over, if they are supervised or have been told how to use
the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.
Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried
out by children unless they are aged 8 years or over and are
supervised. The appliance and its connecting cable must be
kept away from children younger than 8 years old.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Fill the appliance only up to the MAX mark. Otherwise,
boiling water may spill out!
► Do not operate the appliance without the scale filter insert.
► After use, the surfaces of the heating elements will still have
some residual heat.
► Misuse may result in physical injury! Use the appliance only

► Packaging materials should not be used as a plaything. Risk of suffocation.
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for aspects of environmental friendliness and
disposal, and they are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

► If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

Cable retainer
A cable retainer is located on the base of the appliance. This winder
allows you to adjust the length of the cable to your local requirements.
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Ensure that you always guide the cable through the corresponding gap in
the rear of the base for the sake of stability.
NOTE
► Always wrap the power cable around the cable retainer
direction. This reduces the length of the cable to a minimum, allowing you
to guide the cable through the gap in the base

appliance (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your
electrical supply. This data must correspond in order to prevent damage to

Before first use
Before starting to use the appliance, ensure that the appliance, the plug and the
cable are in a fault-free condition and that all packaging materials are removed
from the appliance.

Heating the water to a specific temperature
The appliance has a setting allowing you to specify your desired water temperature. You can set a temperature of 70°C, 80°C, 90°C or 100°C.
♦ Before starting the heating process, press one of the temperature buttons

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

Vous venez ainsi d'opter pour un produit de grande qualité. Le mode d'emploi fait
partie intégrante de ce produit. Il contient des remarques importantes concernant
la sécurité, l'usage et la mise au rebut. Avant d'utiliser le produit, veuillez vous
familiariser avec toutes les consignes d'utilisation et de sécurité. N'utilisez le produit
que conformément aux consignes et pour les domaines d'utilisation prévus.
Conservez soigneusement le présent mode d'emploi. Si vous cédez le produit à
un tiers, remettez-lui également tous les documents.

Consignes de sécurité
DANGER - RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION!
► Assurez-vous que le socle avec ses raccords électriques
n'entre jamais en contact avec l'eau! Laissez entièrement
sécher le socle s'il a été mouillé par inadvertance.
► Utilisez l'appareil uniquement avec le socle fourni.
► Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit jamais
mouillé ou humide en cours d'opération. Disposez le cordon
de manière à éviter qu'il soit coincé ou endommagé d'une
autre manière.
► Faites immédiatement remplacer la fiche secteur ou le cordon
d'alimentation endommagé par des techniciens spécialisés
agréés ou par le service après-vente pour éviter tout risque.
► Pour couper complètement l'alimentation électrique de
l'appareil, Il faut retirer la fiche secteur de la prise secteur.
L'appareil devrait toujours être disposé de manière à permettre en tout temps un accès aisé à la prise secteur afin de
pouvoir débrancher immédiatement la fiche secteur en cas
de danger.
► Avant d'utiliser l'appareil, vérifiez que celui-ci ne présente
aucun dégât extérieur visible. Ne mettez pas en service un
appareil endommagé ou qui a chuté.
► Confiez les réparations de l'appareil exclusivement à des
entreprises agréées ou au service après-vente. Toute réparation non conforme peut entraîner des risques pour l'utilisateur. À cela s'ajoute l'annulation de la garantie.
► Aucun liquide ne doit couler sur le connecteur de l’appareil.
► N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans de l'eau ni dans
d'autres liquides! Il y a danger de mort par électrocution si des restes de liquide entrent en contact avec des
pièces sous tension pendant le fonctionnement.

► Chauffez l'eau uniquement lorsque le couvercle est fermé,
sinon le dispositif automatique de coupure ne fonctionnera
pas. De l'eau bouillante risque alors de déborder de la
bouilloire.
► Des vapeurs brûlantes peuvent se dégager. De plus, la
verseuse est brûlante pendant le fonctionnement. Portez par
conséquent des gants de cuisine.
► Assurez-vous que l'appareil est stable et à la verticale avant
de le mettre en marche. Lorsque l'eau commence à bouillir,
elle peut entraîner la chute de l'appareil s'il n'est pas installé
bien d'aplomb une surface plane.
► N'ouvrez pas le couvercle pendant que l'eau bout.
► Les personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales réduites ou un manque d'expérience et de
connaissances pourront utiliser les appareils à condition
qu'elles aient reçu une supervision ou des instructions
concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil en toute sécurité et
qu'elles comprennent les dangers encourus.
► Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants à partir de
8 ans et plus à condition qu'ils aient reçu une supervision

♦ Sortez du carton toutes les pièces de l'appareil et le mode d'emploi.
♦ Retirez tout le matériel d'emballage de l'appareil.

Éliminer l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.
Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de
l'environnement et de recyclage permettant leur élimination écologique.
Le recyclage de l'emballage en filière de revalorisation permet d'économiser des
matières premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les
matériaux d'emballage qui ne servent plus en respectant la réglementation
locale.

dement (tension et fréquence) sur la plaque signalétique correspondent à
celles de votre réseau électrique. Ces données doivent correspondre afin

Avant la première utilisation
Avant de mettre l'appareil en service, assurez-vous que l'appareil, la fiche secteur
et le cordon d'alimentation se trouvent dans un état de fonctionnement impeccable et que tous les matériaux d'emballage sont éliminés.
Avant de préparer de l'eau pour la première fois pour la consommer, vous devez

Porter l'eau à la température souhaitée
L'appareil offre la possibilité de le régler sur une température souhaitée. Les
températures souhaitées réglables sont 70°C, 80°C, 90°C ou 100°C.

avant de le réutiliser. En présence de taches tenaces, appliquez un peu de
liquide vaisselle doux sur le chiffon. Veillez à ce qu'il n'y ait pas résidus de
liquide vaisselle sur et dans l'appareil avant de le remettre en service.

Cette directive stipule que vous ne devez pas éliminer cet appareil en fin de vie
avec les ordures ménagères, mais le rapporter à des points de collecte désignés,
des centres de recyclage ou des entreprises de gestion des déchets.
Cette mise au rebut est gratuite. Respectez l'environnement et
mettez au rebut en bonne et due forme.

Conditions de garantie
La période de garantie débute à la date de l’achat. Veuillez bien conserver le
ticket de caisse d’origine. Ce document servira de preuve d’achat.
Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d’achat de ce produit, un vice de
matériel ou de fabrication venait à apparaître, le produit sera réparé ou remplacé gratuitement par nos soins, selon notre choix. Cette prestation de garantie
nécessite dans un délai de trois ans la présentation de l’appareil défectueux et
du justificatif d’achat (ticket de caisse) ainsi que la description brève du vice et
du moment de son apparition.
Si le vice est couvert par notre garantie, vous recevrez le produit réparé ou un
nouveau produit en retour. Aucune nouvelle période de garantie ne débute avec
la réparation ou l’échange du produit.
Période de garantie et réclamation légale pour vices cachés
L’exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie. Cette disposition
s’applique également aux pièces remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages et
vices éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent être signalés immédiatement
après le déballage. Toute réparation survenant après la période sous garantie
fera l’objet d’une facturation.
Étendue de la garantie
L’appareil a été fabriqué avec soin conformément à des directives de qualité
strictes et consciencieusement contrôlé avant sa livraison.
La prestation de garantie est valable pour des vices de matériel et de fabrication.
Cette garantie ne s’étend pas aux pièces du produit qui sont exposées à une usure
normale et peuvent de ce fait être considérées comme pièces d’usure, ni aux détériorations de pièces fragiles, par ex. connecteur, accu, moules ou pièces en verre.
Cette garantie devient caduque si le produit est détérioré, utilisé ou entretenu de

Informatie bij deze gebruiksaanwijzing
Hartelijk gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw nieuwe apparaat.
U hebt hiermee gekozen voor een hoogwaardig product. De gebruiksaanwijzing
maakt deel uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor
veiligheid, gebruik en afvoer. Lees alle bedienings- en veiligheidsvoorschriften
voordat u het product in gebruik neemt. Gebruik het product uitsluitend op de
voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Bewaar deze
gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig. Geef alle documenten mee als u het product
doorgeeft aan een derde.

Gebruik in overeenstemming met bestemming
Dit apparaat dient uitsluitend voor het verwarmen van water. Het apparaat is
niet bestemd voor gebruik met andere vloeistoffen of levensmiddelen. Een ander
of verdergaand gebruik geldt als niet in overeenstemming met de bestemming.
Het apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik in bedrijfsmatige of industriële omgevingen. De fabrikant aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg
van gebruik dat niet in overeenstemming is met de bestemming, onvakkundige
reparaties, veranderingen die zonder toestemming zijn uitgevoerd of gebruik
van niet-toegestane vervangingsonderdelen. Het risico is uitsluitend voor de
gebruiker.

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
GEVAAR - ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK!
► Zorg ervoor dat de sokkel met de elektrische aansluitingen
niet in aanraking komt met water! Laat de sokkel eerst helemaal drogen, mocht deze per ongeluk vochtig zijn geworden.
► Gebruik het apparaat alleen met de meegeleverde sokkel.
► Let erop dat het snoer nooit nat of vochtig wordt wanneer
het apparaat in bedrijf is. Leg het snoer zo neer, dat het niet
bekneld of anderszins beschadigd kan raken.
► Laat beschadigde stekkers en snoeren onmiddellijk door
erkend en vakkundig personeel of door de klantenservice
vervangen, om risico's te vermijden.
► Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact om het apparaat he-
lemaal los te koppelen van het lichtnet. Daarom moet het
apparaat zo worden geplaatst, dat ongehinderde toegang
tot het stopcontact altijd gewaarborgd is, zodat de stekker in
geval van nood onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact kan worden
gehaald.
► Controleer het apparaat vóór gebruik op zichtbare schade
aan de buitenzijde. Gebruik geen apparaat dat beschadigd
of gevallen is.
► Laat reparaties aan het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door
erkende vakbedrijven of door de klantenservice. Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen de gebruiker in gevaar brengen.
Bovendien vervalt dan de garantie.
► Er mag geen vloeistof op de stekkerverbinding van het
apparaat komen.
► Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of in andere
vloeistoffen! Er kan levensgevaar ontstaan door een
elektrische schok, wanneer bij gebruik vloeistofresten in
aanraking komen met onderdelen onder spanning.

WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!
► Verhit water altijd uitsluitend met gesloten deksel, anders
werkt de automatische uitschakeling niet. Er kan dan kokend
water over de rand gutsen.
► Er kan hete stoom ontsnappen. Bovendien is de kan tijdens
het bedrijf erg heet. Draag daarom ovenwanten.
► Let erop dat het apparaat stabiel en rechtop staat alvorens
het in te schakelen. Kokend water kan een instabiel opgesteld
apparaat doen omvallen.
► Open het deksel niet terwijl het water kookt.
► Apparaten mogen worden gebruikt door personen met
beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring en/of kennis, mits ze onder toezicht staan
of over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd
en de daaruit resulterende gevaren hebben begrepen.
► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf
8 jaar, mits ze onder toezicht staan of over het veilige gebruik
van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit resulterende
gevaren hebben begrepen. Reiniging en onderhoud door
de gebruiker mogen niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen,
tenzij ze 8jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht staan. Houd
het apparaat en het bijbehorende snoer buiten bereik van
kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.
► Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.
► Vul het apparaat maximaal tot aan de markering MAX!
Anders kan er kokend water uit de waterkoker gutsen!
► Gebruik het apparaat altijd met geplaatst kalkfilter.
► Na gebruik bevat het oppervlak van het verwarmingselement
nog restwarmte.
► Bij verkeerd gebruik bestaat er kans op letsel! Gebruik het
apparaat altijd in overeenstemming met de bestemming!

► Gebruik geen externe timer of een aparte afstandsbediening
om het apparaat te bedienen.
► Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd als het is ingeschakeld.

open vuur.

Ingebruikname
Inhoud van het pakket en inspectie na transport
Het apparaat wordt standaard met de volgende componenten geleverd:

OPMERKING
► Controleer of het pakket compleet is en of er geen sprake is van zichtbare
schade.
► Neem contact op met de service-hotline (zie het hoofdstuk Service) als het
pakket niet compleet is, of indien er sprake is van schade door gebrekkige
verpakking of transport.
♦ Haal alle onderdelen van het apparaat en de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de
doos.
♦ Verwijder alle verpakkingsmateriaal van het apparaat.
LEVENSGEVAAR!
► Kinderen mogen het verpakkingsmateriaal niet als speelgoed gebruiken.
Er bestaat verstikkingsgevaar.
Verpakking afvoeren
De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu. Ze zijn gekozen op grond van
milieuvriendelijkheid en daarom recyclebaar.
Door de verpakking terug in de materiaalkringloop te brengen, worden
grondstoffen gespaard en ontstaat er minder afval. Voer niet meer benodigde
verpakkingsmaterialen af conform de plaatselijk geldende voorschriften.
OPMERKING
► Bewaar, indien mogelijk, de originele verpakking gedurende de garantie-
periode van het apparaat, om het apparaat bij een garantiekwestie volgens
de voorschriften te kunnen verpakken.

Kabelspoel
Aan de onderkant van de sokkel bevindt zich een kabelspoel . Met de

► Let erop dat het snoer altijd door de daarvoor bestemde uitsparing in de
achterkant van de sokkel moet worden geleid om er zeker van te zijn
dat het apparaat stevig staat.

► Vergelijk, voordat u het apparaat aansluit, eerst de aansluitgegevens (span-
ning en frequentie) op het typeplaatje met die van uw lichtnet. Deze gegevens moeten overeenkomen, zodat het apparaat niet beschadigd raakt.

Vóór het eerste gebruik
Controleer of het apparaat, de stekker en het snoer compleet en zonder
gebreken zijn en dat alle verpakkingsmateriaal van het apparaat is verwijderd,
voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt.
Voordat u voor de eerste keer water aan de kook brengt, moet u de kan
reinigen. Ga als volgt te werk:
♦ Open het deksel
♦ Vul de kan
rechtop tijdens het vullen. Alleen dan kunt u de schaalverdeling
aflezen.
♦ Sluit het deksel
water aan de kook (zie het hoofdstuk Water aan de kook brengen).
♦ Giet het water weg nadat het aan de kook is gebracht.

ontwikkelen!
LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
► Doe geen suiker of andere levensmiddelen in het apparaat. Verhit geen
melk, alcohol of andere vloeistoffen in het apparaat. Dit leidt tot onherstelbare schade aan het apparaat.
OPMERKING
► Dit apparaat heeft een oververhittingsbeveiliging. Wanneer het apparaat
per ongeluk wordt ingeschakeld zonder dat er water in de kan is, wordt
het apparaat automatisch uitgeschakeld.

Het apparaat bevindt zich ca. 3 minuten lang in de stand-bystand wanneer de

Water verwarmen tot doeltemperatuur
Het apparaat biedt de mogelijkheid om een doeltemperatuur in te stellen. De
doeltemperatuur kan worden ingesteld op 70 °C, 80 °C, 90 °C of 100 °C.
♦ Druk, voordat u het verwarmen start, op een van de temperatuurkeuzetoet-

Warmhoudfunctie
De warmhoudfunctie maakt het mogelijk om verwarmd water langere tijd op een
bepaalde temperatuur te houden. Zodra de watertemperatuur in de kan afwijkt
van de ingestelde doeltemperatuur, wordt het water automatisch weer verwarmd
tot de ingestelde doeltemperatuur.
De warmhoudfunctie is alleen actief bij een vooringestelde doeltemperatuur van
70 °C, 80 °C of 90 °C. Als de warmhoudfunctie actief is, brandt de
blauw. De warmhoudfunctie blijft 30 minuten actief. Daarna gaat het ap-
paraat automatisch uit.

Reinigen

Er bestaat gevaar voor een elektrische schok! Het apparaat kan

WAARSCHUWING - VERBRANDINGSGEVAAR!
► Laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u het reinigt.
LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
► Gebruik geen schurende of bijtende schoonmaakmiddelen. Deze kunnen
het oppervlak aantasten en het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigen.
♦ Reinig alle buitenkanten en het snoer met een licht bevochtigde vaatdoek.
Droog het apparaat in elk geval goed af voordat u het opnieuw gebruikt.
Doe bij hardnekkig vuil wat mild afwasmiddel op de doek. Zorg ervoor dat
er geen restanten van afwasmiddel op en in het apparaat aanwezig zijn als
u het apparaat opnieuw gebruikt.

een winkel voor huishoudbenodigdheden (bijv. ontkalker voor koffiezetapparaten). Ga te werk zoals beschreven in de gebruiksaanwijzing van het
kalkoplosmiddel.
■ Reinig het apparaat na het ontkalken met veel schoon water.

♦ Open het deksel .
♦ Pak het kalkfilter

► Indien zich kalkresten hebben vastgezet in het kalkfilter
paar uur lang in een oplossing van water en azijn in een verhouding van 6:1.

Afvoeren
Het symbool hiernaast met een doorgekruiste vuilnisbak geeft aan dat dit
apparaat is onderworpen aan de Richtlijn 2012/19/EU.
Deze richtlijn stelt dat u dit apparaat aan het einde van zijn levensduur niet met
het normale huisvuil mag afvoeren, maar moet inleveren bij speciaal hiervoor
bestemde inzamelpunten, milieuparken of afvalverwerkingsbedrijven.
Dit afvoeren is voor u kosteloos. Bescherm het milieu en voer
producten op milieuvriendelijke manier af.
Neem voor meer informatie contact op met uw lokale afvalverwerkingsbedrijf
of uw gemeentereiniging.

Geachte klant,
U hebt op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de aankoopdatum. In geval van
ge breken in dit product hebt u wettelijke rechten tegenover de verkoper van het
product. Deze wettelijke rechten worden door onze hierna beschreven garantie
niet beperkt.
Garantievoorwaarden
De garantieperiode geldt vanaf de datum van aankoop. Bewaar de originele
kassabon. U hebt de bon nodig als bewijs van aankoop.
Als er binnen drie jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum van dit product een materiaal- of
fabricagefout optreedt, wordt het product door ons – naar onze keuze – voor u
kosteloos gerepareerd of vervangen. Voorwaarde voor deze garantie is dat binnen de termijn van drie jaar het defecte apparaat en het aankoopbewijs (kassabon) worden overlegd en dat kort wordt omschreven waaruit het gebrek bestaat
en wanneer het is opgetreden.
Wanneer het defect door onze garantie wordt gedekt, krijgt u het gerepareerde
product of een nieuw product retour. Met de reparatie of vervanging van het
product begint er geen nieuwe garantieperiode.
Garantieperiode en wettelijke aanspraken bij gebreken
De garantieperiode wordt door deze waarborg niet verlengd. Dat geldt ook voor
vervangen en gerepareerde onderdelen. Eventueel al bij aankoop aanwezige
schade en gebreken moeten meteen na het uitpakken worden gemeld. Voor reparaties na afloop van de garantieperiode worden kosten in rekening gebracht.
Garantieomvang
Het apparaat is op basis van strenge kwaliteitsnormen met de grootst mogelijke
zorg vervaardigd en voorafgaand aan de levering nauwkeurig gecontroleerd.

Afhandeling bij een garantiekwestie
Voor een snelle afhandeling van uw aanvraag neemt u de volgende aanwijzingen
in acht:
■ Houd voor alle aanvragen de kassabon en het artikelnummer (bijv. IAN
12345) als aankoopbewijs bij de hand.
■ Het artikelnummer vindt u op het typeplaatje, in het product gegraveerd, op
de titelpagina van de gebruiksaanwijzing (linksonder) of als sticker op de
achter- of onderkant van het product.
■ Als er fouten in de werking of andere gebreken optreden, neemt u eerst
contract op met de hierna genoemde serviceafdeling, telefonisch of via
e-mail.
■ Een als defect geregistreerd product kunt u dan zonder portokosten naar het

tohoto výrobku. Obsahuje důležité informace obezpečnosti, použití a likvidaci.
Před použitím výrobku se seznamte se všemi provozními a bezpečnostními
pokyny. Výrobek používejte pouze předepsaným způsobem a pro uvedené
oblasti použití. Tento návod kobsluze dobře uschovejte. Při předávání výrobku

Bezpečnostní pokyny
NEBEZPEČÍ ÚRAZU ELEKTRICKÝM PROUDEM!
► Zajistěte, aby podstavec selektrickými přípojkami nikdy
nepřišel do styku svodou! Pokud je přesto podstavec vlhký,
nechte jej nejprve úplně vyschnout.
► Přístroj používejte jen s podstavcem, který je součástí výrobku.
► Dbejte na to, aby síťový kabel během provozu nikdy nebyl
mokrý ani vlhký. Veďte jej tak, aby nemohlo dojít kjeho
přiskřípnutí nebo jinému poškození.
► Poškozené zástrčky nebo poškozený síťový kabel nechte
ihned vyměnit autorizovaným odborným personálem nebo
zákaznickým servisem, aby se tím zabránilo nebezpečí.
► Pokud chcete přístroj zcela odpojit od napájecí sítě, musíte
vytáhnout zástrčku ze zásuvky. Proto by se měl přístroj umístit
tak, aby byl vždy volný přístup kelektrické zásuvce a síťovou zástrčku bylo možno vnouzových situacích ze zásuvky
okamžitě vytáhnout.
► Před použitím přístroj zkontrolujte, zda na něm nejsou vnější
viditelná poškození. Poškozený nebo na zem spadlý přístroj
neuvádějte do provozu.
► Opravy na přístroji nechte provádět pouze autorizovanými
odbornými firmami nebo zákaznickým servisem. V důsledku
neodborných oprav může dojít ke vzniku nebezpečí pro
uživatele. Navíc zanikajízáruční nároky.
► Na konektor přístroje nesmí přetéct žádná kapalina.
► Přístroj nikdy neponořujte do vody nebo do jiných kapa-
lin! Pokud se během provozu dostanou zbytky tekutiny
do kontaktu se součástmi, které jsou pod napětím, může
dojít kohrožení života vdůsledku zásahu elektrickým
proudem.

► Zahřívejte vodu vždy jen při uzavřeném víku, jinak nebude
fungovat automatické vypínání. Vroucí voda pak může stříkat
přes okraj.
► Může dojít kúniku horké páry. Konvice je mimoto za provozu
velice horká. Používejte proto kuchyňské chňapky.
► Dříve než přístroj zapnete, ujistěte se, zda stojí stabilně
a ve vertikální poloze. Pokud je přístroj nestabilní, mohla
by vroucí voda způsobit, že dojde kjeho převrácení.
► Neotvírejte víko během varu vody.
► Osoby somezenými fyzickými, smyslovými nebo mentální-
mi schopnostmi či nedostatkem zkušeností a/nebo znalostí
mohou používat přístroj pouze tehdy, pokud jsou pod dohledem nebo pokud byly poučeny obezpečném používání
přístroje a porozuměly ztoho vyplývajícímu nebezpečí.
► Děti od 8let mohou používat tento přístroj pouze tehdy,
pokud jsou pod dohledem nebo pokud byly poučeny ojeho
bezpečném používání a porozuměly ztoho vyplývajícímu
nebezpečí. Děti nesmí provádět uživatelské čištění ani údržbu, ledaže jsou starší 8let a jsou pod dohledem. Děti mladší

Rozsah dodávky a kontrola po přepravě
Přístroj se standardně dodává snásledujícími komponentami:

UPOZORNĚNÍ
► Zkontrolujte kompletnost dodávky a zda není viditelně poškozená.
► Vpřípadě neúplné dodávky nebo poškození vzniklého vdůsledku vadného
obalu nebo během přepravy kontaktujte servisní poradenskou linku (viz
kapitola Servis).
♦ Vyjměte všechny části přístroje a návod kobsluze zkrabice.
♦ Odstraňte z přístroje všechen obalový materiál.
NEBEZPEČÍ OHROŽENÍ ŽIVOTA!
► Obalový materiál nesmí děti používat jako hračku. Hrozí nebezpečí
udušení.
Likvidace obalu
Obal chrání přístroj před poškozením při přepravě. Zvolený obalový materiál
odpovídá hlediskům ochrany životního prostředí a likvidace a je tudíž recyklovatelný.
Navrácení obalu do oběhu zpracování materiálu šetří suroviny a snižuje
produkci odpadů. Již nepotřebný obalový materiál zlikvidujte podle místních
platných předpisů.

Navíjení kabelu
Na spodní straně podstavce se nachází navíjení kabelu . Pomocí navíjení
kabelu

UPOZORNĚNÍ
můžete nastavit délku síťového kabelu podle svých místních podmínek.
► Dbejte na to, že síťový kabel musí být vždy veden přes k tomu určené
vyhloubení na zadní části podstavce , aby byla zajištěna bezpečná
stabilita.
► Oviňte síťový kabel kolem navíjení kabelu
ručiček. Pouze tak lze snížit délku kabelu na minimum a vést síťový kabel
ještě vyhloubením v podstavci

Vytvoření napájení proudem
POZOR– HMOTNÉ ŠKODY!
► Před zapojením přístroje porovnejte přípojná data (napětí a frekvenci)
uvedená na typovém štítku sdaty své elektrické sítě. Tyto údaje se musí
shodovat, aby nedošlo kpoškození přístroje.
♦ Odviňte síťový kabel úplně znavíjení kabelu
♦ Provlečte síťový kabel otvorem v zadní části podstavce
♦ Zastrčte síťovou zástrčku do síťové zásuvky. Zazní zvukový signál a všechna
tlačítka se krátce rozsvítí modře. Jakmile se konvice
, se poté rozsvítí kontrolka a volič teploty 100°C modře. Přístroj se
nyní po dobu cca 3 minut nachází v režimu standby. Pokud není konvice

Před prvním použitím
Dříve než přístroj uvedete do provozu, přesvědčte se otom, zda jsou přístroj, síťová
zástrčka a síťový kabel vbezvadném stavu a zda jsou z přístroje odstraněny
veškeré obalové materiály.
Předtím než poprvé připravíte vodu ke konzumaci, musíte konvici
vymýt. K tomu účelu postupujte takto:
♦ Otevřete víko
♦ Nalijte do konvice
ve svislé poloze. Až poté můžete správně odečíst stupnici
♦ Zavřete víko
převařit (viz kapitola Převaření vody).
♦ Po převaření vodu vylijte.
♦ Opakujte tento proces ještě jednou.
Přístroj lze nyní použít pro přípravu pitné vody.

► Používejte vždy čerstvou pitnou vodu. Nepijte a nepoužívejte vodu, která
v přístroji stála déle než jednu hodinu. Ochlazenou vodu neohřívejte a neuvádějte opět do varu. Odstátou vodu vždy vylijte. Mohlo by dojít ktvorbě
choroboplodných zárodků!
POZOR– HMOTNÉ ŠKODY!
► Do přístroje nevkládejte cukr ani jiné potraviny. Neohřívejte v přístroji
mléko, alkohol nebo jiné tekutiny. Důsledkem jsounevratná poškození
přístroje.
UPOZORNĚNÍ
► Tento přístroj je vybaven ochranou proti přehřátí. Jestliže se přístroj zapne
náhodně, aniž by se v konvici nacházela voda, přístroj se automaticky
vypne.

Vypnutí/zapnutí přístroje
Přístroj se nyní po dobu cca 3 minut nachází v režimu standby, když je zástrčka
zastrčená do síťové zásuvky. Poté se přístroj automaticky vypne.
♦ Pro vypnutí přístroje stiskněte na 2 sekundy tlačítko
a kontrolka
♦ Pokud opětovne stiskněte tlačítko
zhasnou.
Převaření vody
♦ Konvici sejměte z podstavce a nalijte do ní vodu.
♦ Otevřete víko
♦ Naplňte konvici
tékala a minimálně po značku 0.7 L. Při plnění držte konvici
poloze. Až poté můžete správně odečíst stupnici

Ohřátí vody na cílovou teplotu
Přístroj má možnost nastavení cílové teploty. Cílovou teplotu můžete nastavit
na 70°C, 80°C, 90°C nebo 100°C.
♦ Pro výběr požadované teploty stiskněte před spuštěním ohřívání jeden
z voličů teploty
♦ Pro spuštění ohřívání poté stiskněte tlačítko
teplotu změnit.
♦ Jakmile voda dosáhne nastavené cílové teploty, zazní zvukový signál
a přístroj se přepne do funkce udržování teploty. Volič teploty
svítí modře.

Funkce udržování teploty
Funkce udržování teploty Vám umožňuje udržovat ohřátou vodu po dlouhou
dobu při určité teplotě. Jakmile se teplota vody v konvici liší od nastavené cílové
teploty, přístroj automaticky opět ohřívá na nastavenou cílovou teplotu.
Funkce udržování teploty je aktivovaná pouze u předem nastavené cílové teploty
70°C, 80°C nebo 90°C . Tlačítko
teploty modře. Funkce udržování teploty je aktivovaná po dobu 30 minut. Poté
se přístroj automaticky vypne.

► Nepoužívejte abrazivní ani leptavé čisticí prostředky. Mohly by narušit

♦ Očistěte veškeré vnější plochy a síťový kabel mírně navlhčeným hadříkem.
Vkaždém případě přístroj před dalším použitím dobře osušte. Na těžce
odstranitelné nečistoty použijte jemný čisticí prostředek nanesený na hadřík.
Předtím než přístroj opět uvedete do provozu, dbejte na to, aby se na
přístroji a uvnitř něj nenacházely zbytky mycího prostředku.

Odvápnění přístroje
Vápenaté usazeniny vpřístroji vedou kenergetickým ztrátám a snižují životnost
přístroje. Jakmile se projeví vápenaté usazeniny, okamžitě je zpřístroje odstraňte.
■ Použijte odvápňovač určený pro nádoby na potraviny, který je k dostání
v prodejně domácích potřeb(např. odvápňovač do kávovarů). Postupujte
vsouladu snávodem kpoužití odvápňovače.
■ Po odstranění vápenatých usazenin vyčistěte přístroj velkým množstvím čisté
vody.

♦ Otevřete víko .
♦ Uchopte vylévací sítko
zatáhněte vylévací sítko
nahoru.

UPOZORNĚNÍ
za jazýček, jazýček mírně zatlačte dolů a
mírně dovnitř. Poté ho můžete vyjmout směrem
vyčistěte lehce navlhčeným hadříkem a pod tekoucí vodou.

► Jestliže se ve vylévacím sítku
na několik hodin do vody s přidáním octu v poměru 6:1. Vápenaté usazeniny

■ Před uložením nechte přístroj zcela vychladnout.
■ Síťový kabel naviňte kolem navíjení kabelu

► Oviňte síťový kabel kolem navíjení kabelu
ručiček. Pouze tak lze zkrátit délku kabelu na minimum a vést síťový kabel
ještě vyhloubením v podstavci
■ Přístroj skladujte na suchém místě.
Likvidace
Vedle umístěný symbol přeškrtnuté pojízdné popelnice označuje, že tento přístroj
podléhá směrnici č. 2012/19/EU.
Tato směrnice uvádí, že tento přístroj se na konci doby svého použití nesmí zlikvidovat sběžným domovním odpadem, ale musí se odevzdat vurčených sběrných
místech či dvorech nebo podnicích oprávněných knakládání sodpady.

Vztahuje-li se na závadu naše záruka, obdržíte zpět buď opravený nebo nový
produkt. Opravou nebo výměnou výrobku nezačne plynout nová záruční doba.
Záruční doba a zákonné nároky vyplývající ze závad
Záručním plněním se záruční doba neprodlužuje. To platí ipro vyměněné a
opravené součásti. Poškození nebo vady vyskytující se případně již při nákupu
se musí oznámit ihned po vybalení. Po uplynutí záruční doby podléhají veškeré
opravy zpoplatnění.
Rozsah záruky
Přístroj byl vyroben pečlivě podle přísných směrnic kvality a před expedicí byl
svědomitě vyzkoušen.
Záruka se vztahuje na materiálové nebo výrobní vady. Tato záruka se nevztahuje
na součásti produktu, které jsou vystaveny normálnímu opotřebení, a proto je lze
považovat za opotřebovatelné díly nebo za poškození křehkých součástí jako jsou
např. spínače, akumulátory, formy na pečení nebo části, které jsou vyrobeny ze skla.

Tato záruka zaniká, pokud je výrobek poškozen, nebyl řádně používán nebo
udržován. Pro zajištění správného používání výrobku se musí přesně dodržovat
všechny pokyny uvedené v návodu kobsluze. Účelům použití a úkonům, které se
v návodu kobsluze nedoporučují nebo se před nimi varuje, je třeba se bezpodmínečně vyhnout.
Výrobek je určen pouze pro soukromé účely a ne pro komerční použití. Při nesprávném
a neodborném používání, při použití násilí a při zásazích, které nebyly provedeny
našimi autorizovanými servisními provozovnami, záruční nároky zanikají.
Vyřízení v případě záruky
Pro zajištění rychlého Vaší žádosti postupujte podle následujících pokynů:
■ Pro všechny dotazy mějte připraven pokladní lístek a číslo výrobku (např.
IAN 12345) jako doklad o koupi.
■ Číslo výrobku naleznete na typovém štítku, rytině, na titulní straně svého
návodu (vlevo dole) nebo jako nálepku na zadní nebo spodní straně.
■ Pokud by se měly vyskytovat funkční vady nebo jiné závady, kontaktujte
nejprve níže uvedené servisní oddělení telefonicky nebo e-mailem.
■ Výrobek, zaevidovaný jako vadný výrobek pak můžete při přiložení do-
kladu o nákupu (pokladní lístek) a při uvedení, v čem spočívá vada a kdy
k ní došlo, poslat výrobek pro Vás bez poštovného na adresu, kterou Vám
oznámí servis.

del producto y contienen indicaciones importantes acerca de la seguridad, del
uso y del desecho de este aparato. Antes de usar el producto, familiarícese con

Indicaciones de seguridad
¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
► Asegúrese de que la base con conexiones eléctricas no
entre nunca en contacto con agua. Si la base se humedece
por accidente, deje que se seque por completo.
► Utilice el aparato exclusivamente con la base suministrada.
► Asegúrese de que el cable de red no se moje ni se hume-
dezca durante el funcionamiento. Tienda el cable de modo
que no pueda quedar aplastado ni dañarse.
► Si el enchufe o el cable de red están dañados, encomiende
su sustitución al personal técnico autorizado o al servicio de
asistencia técnica para evitar riesgos.
► Para desconectar el aparato completamente de la red eléc-
trica, es necesario extraer el enchufe de la toma eléctrica.
Por ello, el aparato debe instalarse de forma que quede
garantizado el acceso sin obstáculos a la toma eléctrica
para poder desconectar inmediatamente el enchufe en caso
de emergencia.
► Antes de usar el aparato, compruebe si hay daños externos
visibles. No ponga en funcionamiento un aparato dañado o
que se haya caído.
► Solo los talleres autorizados o el servicio de asistencia técnica
pueden reparar el aparato. Una reparación inadecuada
puede provocar riesgos para el usuario. Además, se anulará
la garantía.
► No debe rebosar ningún líquido por la conexión del aparato.
► ¡No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni en otros líqui-
dos! Existe un posible peligro de muerte por descarga
eléctrica si, durante el funcionamiento, penetran restos
de líquidos en las piezas sometidas a tensión.

► Caliente siempre el agua exclusivamente con la tapa cerrada;
de lo contrario, el mecanismo de desconexión automática no
funcionará. En consecuencia, el agua en ebullición podría
rebosar del aparato.
► Es posible que se genere vapor caliente. La jarra también se
calienta mucho durante el funcionamiento. Por este motivo,
utilice guantes de cocina para utilizar el aparato.
► Asegúrese de que el aparato esté colocado de forma esta-
ble y en vertical antes de encenderlo. El agua en ebullición
podría volcar el aparato si este está colocado de forma
poco estable.

El aparato se suministra de serie con los siguientes componentes:

INDICACIÓN
► Compruebe la integridad del suministro y si hay daños visibles.
► Si el suministro está incompleto o se observan daños debido a un embalaje
deficiente o al transporte, póngase en contacto con la línea directa de
asistencia (consulte el capítulo Asistencia técnica).
♦ Extraiga todas las piezas del aparato y las instrucciones de uso de la caja.
♦ Retire todos los materiales de embalaje del aparato.
¡PELIGRO DE MUERTE!
► Los niños no deben jugar con los materiales de embalaje. Existe peligro de
asfixia.
Desecho del embalaje
El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje
se ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de desecho, por
lo que es reciclable.
El reciclaje del embalaje permite ahorrar en materias primas y reduce el volumen
de residuos. Deseche el material de embalaje que ya no necesite según lo
dispuesto por las normativas locales aplicables.

Enrollacables
En la parte inferior de la base hay un enrollacables que permite adaptar
la longitud del cable de red a las condiciones del lugar de instalación.
ATENCIÓN: ¡DAÑOS MATERIALES!
► Asegúrese de que el cable de red atraviese siempre el alojamiento previsto
para ello en la parte trasera de la base del aparato para garantizar la
colocación estable del aparato.

Antes del primer uso
Antes de poner el aparato en funcionamiento, asegúrese de que el aparato, el
enchufe y el cable de red estén en perfecto estado y de que se hayan retirado

Antes de preparar agua por primera vez para consumirla, debe limpiarse la

Calentamiento de agua a la temperatura objetivo
El aparato cuenta con la posibilidad de ajustar una temperatura objetivo. La
temperatura objetivo puede ajustarse a 70°C, 80°C, 90°C o 100°C.

La función de mantenimiento de calor permite mantener el agua calentada a
una temperatura específica durante un período de tiempo más prolongado.

objetivo ajustada, el aparato volverá a calentar el agua hasta alcanzar dicha
temperatura.
La función de mantenimiento de calor solo está activa si se preajusta una temperatura objetivo de 70°C, 80°C o 90°C. El botón

Protección contra el sobrecalentamiento
Si se produce un sobrecalentamiento, la protección contra el sobrecalentamiento

♦ Limpie todas las superficies externas y el cable de red con un paño
ligeramente húmedo. Seque completamente el aparato antes de volver a
utilizarlo. En caso de suciedad incrustada, añada al paño un poco de jabón lavavajillas suave. Asegúrese de que no quede ningún resto del jabón
lavavajillas en el aparato antes de volver a ponerlo en funcionamiento.
♦ Limpie el interior de la jarra
con agua limpia.
♦ Si observa restos de suciedad incrustada en la jarra
interior con un paño húmedo o utilice un cepillo de limpieza. Tras esto,

con jabón lavavajillas y enjuague la jarra

Descalcificación del aparato
La acumulación de restos de cal en el aparato provoca una pérdida de energía
y afecta a su vida útil. Retire la cal del aparato en cuanto evidencie signos de
depósitos de cal.
■ Utilice un producto antical de uso doméstico apto para los envases de
alimentos (p.ej., producto antical para máquinas de café). Proceda de la
manera descrita en las instrucciones de uso del producto antical.
■ Tras descalcificar el aparato, lávelo con agua limpia abundante.

Este aparato cuenta con una garantía de 3 años a partir de la fecha de compra.
Si se detectan defectos en el producto, puede ejercer sus derechos legales frente
al vendedor. Estos derechos legales no se ven limitados por la garantía descrita
a continuación.
Condiciones de la garantía
El plazo de la garantía comienza con la fecha de compra. Guarde bien el comprobante de caja original, ya que lo necesitará como justificante de compra.
Si dentro de un periodo de tres años a partir de la fecha de compra de este producto se detecta un defecto en su material o un error de fabricación, asumiremos
la reparación o sustitución gratuita del producto a nuestra elección. La prestación
de la garantía requiere la presentación del aparato defectuoso y del comprobante
de caja, así como una breve descripción por escrito del defecto detectado y de
las circunstancias en las que se haya producido dicho defecto, dentro del plazo
de tres años.
Si el defecto está cubierto por nuestra garantía, le devolveremos el producto reparado o le suministraremos uno nuevo. La reparación o sustitución del producto no
supone el inicio de un nuevo periodo de garantía.
Duración de la garantía y reclamaciones legales por vicios
La duración de la garantía no se prolonga por hacer uso de ella. Este principio
también se aplica a las piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Si después de la compra
del aparato, se detecta la existencia de daños o de defectos al desembalarlo,
deben notificarse de inmediato. Cualquier reparación que se realice una vez

Alcance de la garantía
El aparato se ha fabricado cuidadosamente según estándares elevados de
calidad y se ha examinado en profundidad antes de su entrega.
La prestación de la garantía solo rige para defectos en los materiales o errores
de fabricación. Esta garantía no cubre las piezas del producto normalmente
sometidas al desgaste y que, en consecuencia, puedan considerarse piezas de
desgaste ni los daños producidos en los componentes frágiles, p. ej., interruptores,
baterías, moldes de horno o piezas de vidrio.
Se anulará la garantía si el producto se daña o no se utiliza o mantiene correctamente.
Para utilizar correctamente el producto, deben observarse todas las indicaciones
especificadas en las instrucciones de uso. Debe evitarse cualquier uso y manejo que
esté desaconsejado o frente al que se advierta en las instrucciones de uso.
El producto está previsto exclusivamente para su uso privado y no para su uso
comercial. En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de la fuerza
y apertura del aparato por personas ajenas a nuestros centros de asistencia
técnica autorizados, la garantía perderá su validez.

Proceso de reclamación conforme a la garantía
Para garantizar una tramitación rápida de su reclamación, le rogamos que observe
las siguientes indicaciones:
■ Mantenga siempre a mano el comprobante de caja y el número de artículo
(p. ej., IAN 12345) como justificante de compra.
■ Podrá ver el número de artículo en la placa de características, grabado en
el aparato, en la portada de las instrucciones (parte inferior izquierda) o en
un adhesivo en la parte trasera o inferior del aparato.
■ Si se producen errores de funcionamiento u otros defectos, póngase prime-
ro en contacto con el departamento de asistencia técnica especificado a
continuación por teléfono o por correo electrónico.
■ Podrá enviar el producto calificado como defectuoso junto con el justifican-
te de compra (comprobante de caja) y la descripción del defecto y de las
circunstancias en las que se haya producido de forma gratuita a la dirección de correo proporcionada.

Instruções de segurança
PERIGO - CHOQUE ELÉTRICO!
► Certifique-se de que a base, com as ligações elétricas, nunca
entra em contacto com água! Deixe a base secar totalmente,
caso tenha ficado húmida acidentalmente.
► Utilize o aparelho apenas com a base fornecida.
► Certifique-se de que, durante o funcionamento, o cabo de
alimentação nunca fica molhado ou húmido. Coloque o
cabo de modo que não possa ficar entalado nem ser danificado de outra forma.
► Cabos ou fichas danificados devem ser imediatamente subs-
tituídos por técnicos autorizados ou pelo Serviço de Apoio
ao Cliente, de modo a evitar situações de perigo.
► Para desligar o aparelho totalmente da corrente elétrica,
a ficha tem de ser retirada da tomada. Por esta razão, o
aparelho deve ser instalado de modo a permitir sempre um
acesso fácil à tomada para que, em situações de emergência, a ficha possa ser imediatamente retirada.
► Antes da utilização, verifique a existência de eventuais
danos exteriores visíveis no aparelho. Não tente colocar em
funcionamento um aparelho avariado ou que tenha sofrido
uma queda.
► Solicite as reparações do aparelho apenas a empresas auto-
rizadas ou ao Serviço de Assistência Técnica. Reparações
inadequadas podem acarretar perigos para o utilizador.
Além disso, a garantia extingue-se.
► Não podem transbordar líquidos para a ligação de encaixe
do aparelho.
► Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou noutros líquidos!
Pode existir perigo de morte por choque elétrico caso,
durante o funcionamento, se verifique uma infiltração de
líquidos remanescentes nas peças condutoras de tensão.

► Aqueça a água sempre com a tampa fechada, caso contrá-
rio o dispositivo de desativação automática não funciona.
A água a ferver pode transbordar.
► Pode ser libertado vapor quente. Além disso, o bule fica
muito quente durante o funcionamento. Por esta razão, use
luvas de cozinha.
► Antes de ligar o aparelho, certifique-se de que este se encon-
tra numa posição estável e na vertical. Se o aparelho não
assentar corretamente, a água a ferver pode fazê-lo cair.
► Não abra a tampa enquanto a água estiver a ferver.
► Os aparelhos podem ser utilizados por pessoas com capa-
cidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais reduzidas, bem como
com falta de experiência e/ou conhecimento, caso sejam
vigiadas ou instruídas sobre a utilização segura do aparelho
e tenham compreendido os perigos daí resultantes.
► Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por crianças com idades
superiores a 8anos, caso sejam vigiadas ou instruídas sobre

► Verifique a integralidade do produto fornecido e a existência de eventuais
danos visíveis.
► No caso de fornecimento incompleto ou danos resultantes de embalagem
inadequada ou do transporte, contacte a linha direta de Assistência Técnica
(ver capítulo Assistência Técnica).
♦ Retire todas as peças do aparelho e o manual de instruções da caixa.
♦ Remova todo o material de embalagem do aparelho.

► Os materiais de embalagem não podem ser utilizados nas brincadeiras de
crianças. Perigo de asfixia.
Eliminação da embalagem
A embalagem protege o aparelho contra danos durante o transporte. Os materiais de embalagem são selecionados tendo em conta os aspetos ambientais e
técnicos relativamente à eliminação, sendo, por isso, recicláveis.
A reciclagem da embalagem permite a poupança de matérias-primas e reduz a
formação de lixo. Elimine os materiais de embalagem que já não são necessários
de acordo com os regulamentos locais em vigor.

► Antes de ligar o aparelho, compare os dados de ligação do aparelho
(tensão e frequência), indicados na placa de características, com os da
sua corrente elétrica. Estes dados têm de corresponder, para que não
ocorram danos no aparelho.

Antes da primeira utilização
Antes de colocar o aparelho em funcionamento, certifique-se de que o aparelho,
a ficha elétrica e o cabo de alimentação se encontram em perfeitas condições e
os materiais de embalagem foram removidos do aparelho.
Antes de preparar pela primeira vez água para consumir é necessário limpar
