Tonsignalen aus einer Entfernung von maximal 4 m. Zusätzlich kann das Gerät
als USB-Speichermedium verwendet werden. Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung
in gewerblichen oder industriellen Bereichen vorgesehen.

■ Nehmen Sie keine eigenmächtigen Umbauten oder Veränderungen am

Gerät vor.

■ Öff nen Sie niemals das Gehäuse des Gerätes. Es befi nden sich keine vom

Anwender zu wartenden oder tauschbaren Bauteile im Gerät.

■ Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssig-

keiten.

■ Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht direktem Sonnenlicht oder hohen Temperaturen

aus. Anderenfalls kann es überhitzen und irreparabel beschädigt werden.

■ Halten Sie off ene Flammen (z.B. Kerzen) zu jeder Zeit von dem Gerät fern.

■ Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht sofort, wenn es von einem kalten Raum in

einen warmen Raum gebracht wurde. Lassen Sie das Gerät erst akklimati­sieren, bevor Sie es einschalten.

führen! Werfen Sie das Gerät nicht ins Feuer, da der integrierte Akku
explodieren kann.

■ Beachten Sie die Nutzungseinschränkungen bzw. Nutzungsverbote für

Batteriebetriebene Geräte an Orten mit gesonderter Gefahrenlage, wie
z.B. Tankanlagen, Flugzeugen, Krankenhäusern, usw.

■ Das Gerät ist nicht für den Betrieb in Räumen mit hoher Temperatur oder

Luftfeuchtigkeit (z.B. Badezimmer) oder übermäßigen Staubaufkommen
ausgelegt.

■ Schalten Sie das Gerät unverzüglich aus und entfernen Sie es von der

möglicherweise angeschlossenen USB-Anschlussbuchse, falls Sie Brandge­ruch oder Rauchentwicklung feststellen. Lassen Sie das Gerät durch einen
qualifi zierten Fachmann überprüfen, bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.

■ Das Aufzeichnen von urheberrechtlich geschützten Inhalten ist erlaubt,

wenn dies nur zu Ihren persönlichen Zwecken dient. Jeglicher anderer
Verwendungszweck ist ohne Erlaubnis des Urheberrechtinhabers durch das
Urheberrecht untersagt.

■ Durch Bedienfehler oder Gerätestörungen werden unter Umständen die

gespeicherten Daten zerstört oder gelöscht. Es empfi ehlt sich für wichtige
Inhalte in jeden Fall die Erstellung einer Sicherungskopie auf einer PC­Festplatte oder einem anderen Speichermedium. Die Geltendmachung
von Schadensersatzansprüchen für Datenverlust und dadurch entstandene
Folgeschäden wird ausgeschlossen.

Der Lieferumfang besteht aus folgenden Komponenten:

HINWEIS

Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).

♦ Entnehmen Sie das Gerät und die Bedienungsanleitung aus der

Verpackung.

♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

Verbindung mit einem Computer

Systemvoraussetzungen

Betriebssystem: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS X
Steckplatz: USB-Anschluss (USB 1.1/2.0)

♦ Stellen Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter in die Position OFF.
♦ Schieben Sie den USB-Schiebeschalter nach vorne, um den USB-

HINWEIS

Je nach Betriebssystem ist es ggf. erforderlich, dass eine Abmeldung des

USB-Diktiergerätes erfolgen muss. Dies beugt Schäden am USB-Stick und
evtl. Datenverlust vor. In der Taskleiste wird das installierte USB-Diktier­gerät angezeigt. Klicken Sie mit der linken Maustaste auf das Symbol
„Hardware sicher entfernen“. Klicken Sie mit der linken Maustaste auf
den entsprechenden Eintrag. Es erscheint der Hinweis, dass das Gerät
entfernt werden kann.

Akku laden

♦ Stellen Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter in die Position OFF.
♦ Schieben Sie den USB-Schiebeschalter nach vorne, um den USB-

HINWEIS

Die Aufnahmen werden im Ordner „RECORD“ im WAV-Format gespeichert.

► Es empfi ehlt sich, in regelmäßigen Abständen, Sicherungskopien Ihrer Auf-

nahmen anzufertigen. Kopieren Sie dazu die Aufnahmen auf die Festplatte
Ihrer Computers.

► Die Aufnahmen können auf jeden Computer mit einem entsprechenden

Wiedergabeprogramm abgespielt werden.

Zeit und Datum einstellen

Wenn Sie die Aufnahmen mit Zeit und Datumsinformationen versehen
möchten, befi ndet sich hierzu auf dem USB-Diktiergerät ein entsprechendes
Programm.

♦ Öff nen Sie den Ordner „Settime“ und Doppelklicken Sie auf die Datei

„SetDigitRecorderTm.exe“.
Es erscheint folgendes Fenster:

♦ Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfl äche „SetTime“. Die Zeit und Datumsinforma-

tionen werden automatisch mit Ihrem Computer synchronisiert. Um das
Fenster zu schließen, klicken Sie auf die Schaltfl äche „X“.

♦ Klicken Sie im nächsten Fenster auf die Schaltfl äche „OK“ um das Fenster

zu schließen und die Einstellungen zu übernehmen.

Reinigung

ACHTUNG

Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät

eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

► Verwenden Sie keine ätzenden, scheuernden oder lösungsmittelhaltigen

Reinigungsmittel. Diese können die Oberfl ächen des Gerätes angreifen.

♦ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse mit einem angefeuchteten Tuch.

Lagerung bei Nichtbenutzung

♦ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einen trockenen und staubfreien Ort ohne

direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.

♦ Bei längerer Lagerung sollte der integrierte Akku aufgeladen werden,

um die Lebensdauer zu verlängern.

Fehlerbehebung

Das USB-Diktiergerät wird nicht am Computer erkannt / geladen.

♦ Das USB-Diktiergerät ist nicht ordnungsgemäß am Computer angeschlos-

sen. Überprüfen Sie die Verbindung. Trennen Sie das USB-Diktiergerät
vom Computer und schließen Sie es erneut an.

Das USB-Diktiergerät lässt sich nicht einschalten.

♦ Der integrierte Akku ist entladen. Laden Sie den Akku auf (siehe Kapitel

Akku laden).

Die Aufnahmen haben eine schlechte Qualität.

♦ Die Entfernung zur Audioquelle ist evtl. zu groß. Verringern Sie den

Abstand zur Audioquelle.

♦ Die Aufnahme fand evtl. während des Ladevorgangs statt. Erstellen Sie

keine Aufnahmen, während Sie den Akku laden.

Wenn Sie mit den genannten Schritten das Problem nicht lösen können,

Entsorgung

Das nebenstehende Symbol einer durchgestrichenen Mülltonne auf

Rädern zeigt an, dass dieses Gerät der Richtlinie 2012/19/EU

unterliegt. Diese Richtlinie besagt, dass Sie dieses Gerät am Ende
seiner Nutzungszeit nicht mit dem normalen Haushaltsmüll entsorgen dürfen,
sondern in speziell eingerichteten Sammelstellen, Wertstoff höfen oder
Entsorgungsbetrieben abgeben müssen.

Diese Entsorgung ist für Sie kostenfrei. Schonen Sie die Umwelt
und entsorgen Sie fachgerecht.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von

Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts
gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im
Folgenden dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original­Kassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material­oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl
– für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus,
dass innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg
(Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel
besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte
oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach
Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpfl ichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und
vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind
und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigun­gen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z.B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die

aus Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behand lung, Gewaltanwen­dung und bei Eingriff en, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlas­sung vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Abwicklung im Garantiefall

Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie
bitte den folgenden Hinweisen:

▯ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer

(z.B. IAN 12345) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.

▯ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild, einer Gravur, auf

dem Titelblatt ihrer Anleitung (unten links) oder als Aufkleber auf der Rück­oder Unterseite.

▯ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten kontaktieren Sie

zunächst die nachfolgend benannte Serviceabteilung telefonisch oder
per E-Mail.

▯ Ein als defekt erfasstes Produkt können Sie dann unter Beifügung des Kauf-

Vous venez ainsi d'opter pour un produit de grande qualité. Le mode d'emploi
fait partie intégrante de ce produit. Il contient des remarques importantes
concernant la sécurité, l'usage et la mise au rebut. Avant d'utiliser le produit,
veuillez vous familiariser avec toutes les consignes d'utilisation et de sécurité.
N'utilisez le produit que conformément aux consignes et pour les domaines
d'utilisation prévus.

■ N'utilisez pas l'appareil immédiatement lorsqu'il a été déplacé d'une pièce

froide vers une pièce chaude. Laissez d'abord l'appareil s'acclimater avant
de l'allumer.

■ DANGER! Une manipulation incorrecte des batteries peut entraîner un

incendie, des explosions, une fuite de substances dangereuses ou d'autres
situations dangereuses! Ne jetez pas l'appareil au feu car la batterie
intégrée risque d'exploser.

■ Respectez les restrictions ou interdictions d'utilisation pour les appareils

fonctionnant sur piles aux endroits à risque particulier,(par ex. dans les
stations-service, les avions, les hôpitaux etc.

■ L'appareil n'est pas prévu pour une utilisation dans des pièces dans lesquelles

règne une température ou une humidité élevée(par ex. salle de bains) ou
qui sont extrêmement poussiéreuses.

■ Si vous percevez une odeur de brûlé ou un dégagement de fumée, éteignez

immédiatement l'appareil et débranchez-le de l'éventuel port USB connecté.
Faites contrôler l'appareil par un spécialiste qualifi é avant de le réutiliser.

autorisé dans le cadre d'une utilisation personnelle. Tout autre but d'utilisa­tion est strictement interdit par le copyright sans la permission du détenteur
des droits d'auteur.

■ Des erreurs de manipulation ou des détériorations de l'appareil risquent

dans certains cas de détruire ou de supprimer les données enregistrées. Il
est recommandé de réaliser une copie de sauvegarde dans tous les cas des
contenus importants sur un disque dur d'ordinateur ou sur tout autre support
d'enregistrement. Toute revendication de droits à dommages et intérêts en
cas de perte de données et de dommages consécutifs est exclue.

Mise en service

Vérifi cation du matériel livré

Le matériel livré comprend des éléments suivants:

REMARQUE

Vérifi ez si la livraison est au complet et ne présente aucun dégât apparent.

► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage

défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service
après-vente (voir le chapitre Service après-vente).

♦ Retirez l'appareil et le mode d'emploi de l'emballage.
♦ Retirez tous les matériaux d'emballage.

Établir la liaison avec un ordinateur

Exigences système

Système d'exploitation : Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS X
Emplacement : Port USB (USB 1.1/2.0)

♦ Placez l'interrupteur MARCHE/ARRÊT en position OFF.
♦ Glissez le commutateur à coulisse USB en avant pour sortir la fi che

♦ Branchez la fi che USB dans le bon sens dans un port USB de votre

ordinateur allumé.

Le dictaphone USB est reconnu et le système d'exploitation attribue une lettre
de lecteur disponible. Vous pouvez ensuite utiliser l'appareil comme un lecteur
amovible.

ATTENTION

Avant de débrancher l'appareil de votre ordinateur, assurez-vous que

plus aucune donnée ne soit plus transmise.

REMARQUE

En fonction du système d'exploitation, il peut être nécessaire d'eff ectuer

une déconnexion du dictaphone USB. Ceci prévient tout dommage sur la
clé USB et une éventuelle perte de données. Le dictaphone USB installé
s'affi che dans la barre des tâches. Cliquez avec le bouton gauche de la
souris sur le symbole "Retirer le périphérique en toute sécurité". Cliquez
avec le bouton gauche de la souris sur l'entrée correspondante. L'indica­tion selon laquelle l'appareil peut être retiré s'affi che.

Chargement de la batterie

♦ Placez l'interrupteur MARCHE/ARRÊT en position OFF.
♦ Glissez le commutateur à coulisse USB en avant pour sortir la fi che

ordinateur allumé. La LED d'état

Utilisation et fonctionnement

Enregistrement

♦ Placez l'interrupteur MARCHE/ARRÊT en position ON. La LED d'état

clignote en bleu environ 5 secondes, pendant que le dictaphone prépare
l'enregistrement. Dès que la LED d'état

♦ Placez l'interrupteur MARCHE/ARRÊT en position OFF. Dès que la

REMARQUE

Les enregistrements sont enregistrés dans le dossier "RECORD" au format

► Il est recommandé de réaliser des copies de sauvegarde de vos enregistre-

ments régulièrement. Copiez pour cela les enregistrements sur le disque
dur de votre ordinateur.

► Les enregistrements peuvent être lus sur n'importe quel ordinateur disposant

d'un programme de lecture adapté.

Réglage de la date et de l'heure

Si vous souhaitez doter les enregistrements de l'heure et de la date, un pro­gramme correspondant est installé sur le dictaphone USB.

♦ Ouvrez le dossier "Settime" et double-cliquez sur le fi chier

"SetDigit RecorderTm.exe". La fenêtre suivante apparait :

♦ Cliquez sur le bouton "SetTime". L'heure et la date sont synchronisés

automatiquement avec votre ordinateur. Cliquez sur le bouton "X" pour
fermer la fenêtre.

♦ Cliquez sur le bouton "X" dans la fenêtre suivante pour fermer la fenêtre

et enregistrer les réglages.

Nettoyage

ATTENTION

Lors du nettoyage de l'appareil, veillez à ce qu'aucune humidité ne

►

pénètre dans ce dernier afi n d'éviter tous dégâts irréparables.

► N'utilisez jamais de produits nettoyants à eff et décapant, abrasif ou qui

contiennent des solvants. Ils peuvent en eff et endommager les surfaces
de l'appareil.

♦ Nettoyez le boîtier avec un chiff on humidifi é.

Rangement en cas de non-utilisation

♦ Entreposez l'appareil à un endroit sec et exempt de poussières, sans

exposition directe au soleil.

♦ En cas de stockage de longue durée, la batterie intégrée doit être chargée

pour prolonger la durée de vie.

Dépannage

Le dictaphone USB n'est pas reconnu/chargé par l'ordinateur.

♦ Le dictaphone n'est pas correctement raccordé sur l'ordinateur. Vérifi ez la

connexion. Débranchez le dictaphone USB de l'ordinateur et branchez-le
à nouveau.

Le dictaphone USB ne se met pas en marche.

♦ La batterie intégrée est déchargée. Rechargez la batterie (voir le chapitre

Chargement de la batterie).

Les enregistrements sont de mauvaise qualité.

♦ La distance avec la source audio est éventuellement trop importante.

Réduisez la distance avec la source audio.

♦ L'enregistrement a eu éventuellement lieu durant l'opération de charge-

ment. Ne faites aucun enregistrement pendant que la batterie est en
cours de chargement.

REMARQUE

Si vous ne pouvez pas résoudre le problème en prenant les mesures

►

citées, veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service après-vente (voir
chapitre Service après-vente).

Mise au rebut

Le symbole ci-contre, d'une poubelle barrée sur roues, indique que

l'appareil doit respecter la directive 2012/19/EU. Cette directive

stipule que vous ne devez pas éliminer cet appareil en fi n de vie avec
les ordures ménagères, mais le rapporter aux points de collecte, aux centres
de recyclage ou aux entreprises de gestion des déchets spécialement équipés
à cet eff et.

Cette mise au rebut est gratuite. Respectez l'environnement et
mettez au rebut en bonne et due forme.

Vous obtiendrez de plus amples informations auprès de votre collecteur local
ou de l'administration de votre ville ou commune.

Mettez tous les matériaux d'emballage au rebut de manière

respectueuse de l'environnement conformément aux dispositions

locales.

Le produit récyclable doit être trié ou rapporté dans un point de
collecte pour être recycle.

à présenter des vices, vous disposez de droits légaux face au vendeur de ce
produit. Vos droits légaux ne sont pas restreints par notre garantie présentée
ci-dessous.

Conditions de garantie

La période de garantie débute à la date de l’achat. Veuillez bien conserver le
ticket de caisse d’origine. Ce document servira de preuve d’achat.

Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d’achat de ce produit, un vice de
matériel ou de fabrication venait à apparaître, le produit sera réparé ou remplacé
gratuitement par nos soins, selon notre choix. Cette prestation de garantie
nécessite dans un délai de trois ans la présentation de l’appareil défectueux et
du justifi catif d’achat (ticket de caisse) ainsi que la description brève du vice et
du moment de son apparition.

Si le vice est couvert par notre garantie, vous recevrez le produit réparé ou un
nouveau produit en retour. Aucune nouvelle période de garantie ne débute
avec la réparation ou l’échange du produit.

Période de garantie et réclamation légale pour vices cachés

L’exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie. Cette disposi­tion s’applique également aux pièces remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages
et vices éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent être signalés immédia­tement après le déballage. Toute réparation survenant après la période sous
garantie fera l’objet d’une facturation.

Étendue de la garantie

L’appareil a été fabriqué avec soin conformément à des directives de qualité
strictes et consciencieusement contrôlé avant sa livraison.

La prestation de garantie est valable pour des vices de matériel et de fabrica­tion. Cette garantie ne s’étend pas aux pièces du produit qui sont exposées à

♦ Rimuovere l'apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni dalla confezione.
♦ Rimuovere completamente il materiale di imballaggio.

Collegamento ad un computer

Requisiti di sistema

Sistema operativo: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS X
Slot: porta USB (USB 1.1/2.0)

♦ Portare l'interruttore ON/OFF in posizione OFF.
♦ Spostare in avanti l'interruttore scorrevole USB per estrarre il connet-

tore USB

♦ Infi lare il connettore USB nella giusta direzione in una porta USB del

computer acceso.

Il dittafono USB viene ora riconosciuto e il sistema operativo gli assegna una
lettera del drive libera. Dopo di ciò si può utilizzare l'apparecchio come
supporto di memoria intercambiabile.

Prima di staccare l'apparecchio dal computer accertarsi che non vi sia un

A seconda del sistema operativo potrebbe essere necessario azionare

il comando di espulsione del dittafono USB. Ciò previene danni alla
penna USB e un'eventuale perdita di dati. Nella barra delle funzioni
viene visualizzato il dittafono USB installato. Fare clic con il tasto sinistro
del mouse sul simbolo "Rimozione sicura dell'hardware". Fare clic con il
tasto sinistro del mouse sulla relativa voce. Compare poi l'avvertenza che
il dispositivo può essere rimosso.

Caricamento della batteria

♦ Portare l'interruttore ON/OFF in posizione OFF.
♦ Spostare in avanti l'interruttore scorrevole USB per estrarre il connet-

tore USB

♦ Infi lare il connettore USB nella giusta direzione in una porta USB del

computer acceso. Durante il processo di ricarica, il LED di stato
acceso di colore rosso.

NOTA

Il dittafono USB può venire caricato esclusivamente tramite la porta USB di

un computer.

♦ Non appena il LED di stato non è più acceso di colore rosso, la batteria

è completamente carica. Occorrono circa 2 ore affi nché una batteria
scarica si ricarichi completamente.

♦ Staccare l'apparecchio dal computer e far rientrare il connettore USB

Registrazione

♦ Portare l'interruttore ON/OFF in posizione ON. Il LED di stato

lampeggia per circa 5 secondi di colore blu mentre il dittafono prepara
la registrazione. La registrazione inizia quando il LED di stato
permanentemente acceso di blu.

♦ Portare l'interruttore ON/OFF in posizione OFF. Quando il LED di

Le registrazioni vengono memorizzate nella cartella "RECORD" in formato

Impostazione di ora e data

Se si desidera associare alle registrazioni informazioni quali ora e data, sul
dittafono USB è a disposizione a tale scopo un relativo programma.

♦ Aprire la cartella “Settime” e fare un doppio clic sul fi le

“SetDigit RecorderTm.exe”. Compare la seguente fi nestra:

♦ Fare clic sul pulsante "SetTime". Le informazioni quali ora e data vengono

sincronizzate automaticamente con il proprio computer. Per chiudere la
fi nestra fare clic sul pulsante "X".

♦ Per chiudere la fi nestra e accettare le impostazioni, fare clic sul pulsante

"X" nella prossima fi nestra.

Pulizia

ATTENZIONE

Per evitarne l'irreparabile danneggiamento del dispositivo, assicurarsi

Conservazione quando l'apparecchio non viene
utilizzato

♦ Conservare l'apparecchio in un luogo asciutto, privo di polvere e non

♦ Nel caso in cui il caricabatterie portatile venisse conservato inutilizzato

per un periodo prolungato, caricare la batteria integrata per aumentarne
la durata utile.

Eliminazione dei guasti

Il dittafono USB non viene riconosciuto / caricato sul computer.

♦ Il dittafono non è correttamente collegato al computer. Verifi care la con-

nessione. Staccare il dittafono dal computer e collegarlo nuovamente.

Non si riesce ad accendere il dittafono USB.

♦ La batteria integrata è scarica. Caricare la batteria (consultare il capitolo

Caricamento della batteria).

Le registrazioni hanno una cattiva qualità.

♦ La distanza dalla fonte audio è probabilmente eccessiva.

Ridurre la distanza dalla fonte audio.

♦ La registrazione ha avuto luogo durante il caricamento della batteria.

Non eff ettuare registrazioni durante il caricamento della batteria.

Smaltimento

Il simbolo del bidone della spazzatura barrato, raffi gurato a lato,

Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.

Connecting to a computer

System requirements

Operating system: Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS X
Slot: USB connection (USB 1.1/2.0)

♦ Push the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
♦ Push the USB switch forwards to extend the USB plug .
♦ Plug the USB plug the right way up into a USB port on your

(switched-on) computer.

The system will recognise the USB dictation machine and assign it a drive letter.
Afterwards, you can use the device as a removable disk.

CAUTION

Before disconnecting the device from your computer, ensure that no more

data is being transferred.

NOTE

Depending on the operating system, it may be necessary to deregister

the device. This prevents damage to the USB stick and possible data loss.
The installed dictation machine is shown on the task bar. Left-click on the
icon "Safely Remove Hardware". Left-click on the corresponding entry.
A message appears that you can safely remove the device.

Charging the battery

♦ Push the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
♦ Push the USB switch forwards to extend the USB plug .
♦ Plug the USB plug the right way up into a USB port on your (switched-on)

computer. The status LED

♦ As soon as the red status LED goes out, the integrated battery is fully

charged. It takes around 2 hours to fully charge an empty battery.

♦ Remove the device from your computer and retract the USB plug fully

Handling and use

Recording

♦ Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The status LED

Your recordings will be saved in WAV format in the "RECORD" directory.

► We recommend making regular back-ups of your recordings. To do this,

copy the recordings onto your computer’s hard drive.

► The recordings can be played back on your computer using a suitable

playback program.

Setting the date and time

If you wish to add date and time information to your recordings, the USB
dictation machine has a corresponding program for this.

♦ Open the “Settime” folder and double-click on the fi le

“SetDigit RecorderTm.exe”. The following window opens:

♦ Click on the "SetTime" button. The time and date information will auto-

matically be synchronised with your computer. To close the window, click
on the "X" button.

♦ In the next window, click on "OK" to close the window and accept the

settings.

Cleaning

CAUTION

To avoid irreparable damage to the device, ensure that no moisture

penetrates it during cleaning.

► Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning materials.

These can damage the surfaces of the device.

♦ Clean the housing with a moistened cloth.

Storage when not in use

♦ Store the device in a clean, dry, dust-free location which is not in direct

sunlight.

♦ For long-term storage, the integrated battery should be fully charged to

extend its operating life.

Troubleshooting

The USB dictation machine is not recognised/charged by the computer.

♦ The USB dictation machine is not connected to the computer correctly.

Check the connection. Disconnect the USB dictation machine from the
computer and reconnect it.

The USB dictation machine does not switch on.

♦ The integrated battery is empty. Charge the battery (see section Charging

the battery).

The recording quality is bad.

♦ Check whether the distance to audio source is too great. Reduce the

distance to the audio source.

♦ Possibly, the recording was made during the charging process.

Do not make any recordings while charging the battery.

The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out dustbin means that this device

is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states that this

device may not be disposed of in the normal household waste at
the end of its lifecycle, but should be delivered to specially set-up collection

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this prod-

uct has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory
rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please
keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as
proof of purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of pur­chase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our
discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective
appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description
of the fault and its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired
or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the
beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eff ected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and
defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after
unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be
subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guide­lines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such
as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
