operating instructions are part of this product.
They contain important information on safety, use
and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise
yourself with all operating and safety instructions.
Use this product only as described and only for
the specifi ed areas of application. Please also
pass these operating instructions on to any future
owner(s).
Proper use
This appliance is intended exclusively for grilling
and heating food indoors. This appliance is intended exclusively for use in domestic households.

Information about this
appliance
“Teppanyaki” is a style of Japanese cuisine.
Traditionally, these meals are prepared directly
on the table using a hot steel plate (“Teppan”).
The possibilities are wide-ranging – pre-cooked
pasta, meat, fi sh, vegetables or dumplings can
be prepared.

Safety instructions
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables
to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer
Service Department.
► Protect the power cable against contact with heated appliance
parts. NEVER use the appliance adjacent to open fl ames, a
hotplate or a heated oven.
► Do not expose the appliance to rain and never use it in a humid
or wet environment. Ensure that the power cable never becomes
wet or moist during operation.
► Before use, check the appliance for visible external damage.
Do not use an appliance that has been damaged or dropped.
► Before using the appliance for the fi rst time and after each cleaning,
check to ensure that the plug contacts on the griddle are dry.
► The power cable must be checked for signs of damage at regular
intervals. If the power cable is damaged, the appliance may no
longer be used.

► The appliance must be connected to a mains socket with a pro-
tective earth.
► The appliance must not come into contact with moisture such as
rain or water.
NEVER immerse the appliance in water or other liquids! You
could receive a fatal electric shock if residual liquids come into
contact with live components during operation.

WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► This appliance may be used by children of the age of 8 years or
more and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are
being supervised or have been instructed with regard to the safe
use of the appliance and have understood the potential risks.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by
children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised.
► Children younger than 8 years of age are to be kept away from
the appliance and the power cable.
► After use, allow the appliance to cool down completely before
cleaning it. There is a risk of burns!
► If possible, set up the appliance in the immediate vicinity of an
electrical power socket. Ensure that the power plug is quickly
reachable in case of danger, and also that there is no danger
of tripping over the cable.
► Provide a stable location for the appliance.
Caution! Hot surface!
► During operation touch only the heat-insulated handles and
the temperature regulator. The upper surfaces of the appliance
become very hot during use.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control
system to operate the appliance.
► Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
► Ensure that the appliance, the power cable or the plug do not
come into contact with heat sources such as hotplates or open
fl ames.
► Do not use charcoal or similar fuels to operate the appliance!
► To protect the non-stick coating, do not use metallic tools such as
knives, forks, etc. Should the non-stick coating become damaged,
discontinue use of the appliance.
► Only operate the appliance using the thermostat supplied.

WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
► Never place the appliance underneath wall
cupboards or next to curtains, cupboard
walls or other fl ammable objects.
► Place the appliance only on a heat-resistant
surface.
1) Take all the parts out of the box and remove
the packaging material and any protective
wrapping.
2) Clean all of the components as described in
the section “Cleaning and care”. Ensure that
all parts are completely dry.
3) Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, clean
and level surface. Ensure that you do not
place the appliance directly next to a wall or
a cupboard.
4) Push the fat drip tray 3 into the guide rails on
the underside of the appliance.
5) Push the thermostat 5 into the socket 1 on
the appliance. Ensure that the temperature
regulator 7 is always set to “0” before you
connect the thermostat to the socket 1.
6) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
Before fi rst use
1) Lightly grease the griddle 4 with fat or oil that
is suitable for baking/grilling.
This allows any cooking residues on the griddle 4
to be more easily removed.
2) Set the thermostat 5 to level 5 and allow
the appliance to heat up for 5 minutes.
3) After 5 minutes,turn the temperature regulator 7
back to level 0.
4) Then disconnect the plug and allow the appliance to cool down.
NOTE
The fi rst time the appliance heats up a small
►
amount of smoke and smell may be generated, caused by production residues. This
is completely normal and is not dangerous.
Ensure suffi cient ventilation; for example,
open a window.
5) Wipe the griddle 4 with a moist cloth. Ensure
that all parts are completely dry before operating
the appliance.
The appliance is now ready for use.
Thermostat settings
Level 0: Grill switched off
Level > 0 - 1: grill switched on;
low temperature
Level 1 - 3: grill switched on; medium
temperature (e.g. vegetables)
Level 3 - 5: grill switched on;
high temperature (e.g. meat)
Operation
WARNING!
THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY!
► Once the appliance is in operation, touch
it only using the handles or the temperature
regulator 7. There is a risk of burns!
Once the fat drip tray 3 has been pushed in, the
thermostat 5 has been connected to the socket 1
and the mains plug has been connected to the
power supply:
1) Adjust the temperature regulator 7 to the de-
sired temperature level. The indicator lamp 6
illuminates. When the set temperature has been
reached, the temperature indicator lamp 6
goes out.

NOTE
The indicator lamp 6 illuminates while the
►
appliance is heating up to the set temperature
level. When the temperature level has been
reached, the indicator lamp 6 goes out.
However, this can always illuminate and go
out again. This indicates that the set temperature has briefl y fallen and the appliance is
heating itself back up.
2) Apply a little vegetable oil to the griddle 4.
NOTE
Excess fat or other fl uids will run into the fat
►
drip tray 3!
3) Place the food to be grilled on the griddle 4.
Turn the food over after a while, as required.
4) Remove the food from the griddle 4 with
the help of heat-resistant plastic or wooden
implements (e.g. a wooden spatula 8) once
it is ready.
5) Turn the thermostat 5 to “0”.
6) Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
Cleaning and care

Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect
►
the plug from the mains power socket! Risk of
electric shock!
► Always remove the thermostat 5 from the
socket 1 before cleaning the appliance.
NEVER immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids!
WARNING!
THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY!
► Always allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it. Otherwise there is a risk
of burns!
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
►
materials. These could damage the surfaces!
■ Use a wooden spatula 8 to push any excess
fat or liquid through the outlet 2 into the fat
drip tray 3. Wipe up any remaining fat using
a kitchen towel.
■ Wipe the griddle 4 with a moist cloth.
NOTE
If any stubborn residue should still adhere to
►
the griddle 4, use a little detergent. After
this, wipe the griddle 4 with clean water.
Ensure that no detergent residues remain on
the griddle 4.
► If you have used detergent to clean the
griddle 4, make sure that you rub it lightly
with oil afterwards!
■ Clean the thermostat 5 with a moist cloth.
For stubborn residues use a mild detergent on
the cloth.
Ensure that the thermostat 5 is completely
dry before operating it again.
■ Clean the wooden spatula 8 and the fat
drip tray 3 in warm water. Add a little mild
detergent.
Rinse all the parts off using clean water. Ensure
that all parts are dry before reusing.
NOTE
The fat drip tray 3 can be cleaned in a
►
dishwasher.
Storage
■ Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free
and dry location.

Warranty and Service
The warranty provided for this appliance is 3
years from the date of purchase. This appliance
has been manufactured with care and inspected
meticulously prior to delivery. Please retain your
receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a
warranty claim, please contact your Customer
Service by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.
The warranty covers only claims for material and
manufacturing defects, not for transport damage,
wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. switches or batteries. This appliance is
intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty is deemed void if this product has
been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or modifi cations that were not carried
out by one of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way
by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
made under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired parts. Damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported
immediately after unpacking, or no later than two
days after the date of purchase. Repairs made
after expiry of the warranty period are chargeable.

Πληροφορίες για αυτή τη
συσκευή
Οι συνταγές "Τεπανγιάκι" προέρχονται από την
Ιαπωνική κουζίνα. Παραδοσιακά αυτές οι συνταγές προετοιμάζονται επάνω σε μια καυτή πλάκα
χάλυβα ("Τεπάν") απευθείας επάνω στο τραπέζι.
Οι δυνατότητες εδώ είναι ποικίλες: μπορεί να γίνει
παρασκευή προ-μαγειρεμένων ζυμαρικών, κρέατος,
ψαριού, λαχανικών ή τυλιχτής πίτας.

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας
ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΙΑΣ!
► Τα βύσματα ή τα καλώδια τροφοδοσίας που έχουν υποστεί
βλάβη πρέπει να αντικαθίστανται αμέσως από εξουσιοδοτημένο
εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών,
ώστε να αποφεύγονται κίνδυνοι.
► Προστατεύετε τη γραμμή δικτύου από επαφές με καυτά τμήματα
της συσκευής. Ποτέ μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε ανοιχτές πηγές φλόγας, σε θερμαντική πλάκα ή σε ζεστό φούρνο.
► Μην εκθέτετε τη συσκευή στη βροχή και ποτέ μην τη χρησιμοποιείτε
σε υγρό ή βρεγμένο περιβάλλον. Προσέχετε ώστε η γραμμή δικτύου
να μη βρέχεται ή υγραίνεται κατά τη λειτουργία.
► Πριν από τη χρήση ελέγχετε τη συσκευή ως προς εξωτερικές
εμφανείς φθορές. Μη θέτετε σε λειτουργία μία συσκευή που έχει
υποστεί φθορές ή έχει πέσει κάτω.
► Ελέγχετε πριν από τη θέση σε λειτουργία και μετά από κάθε
καθαρισμό της συσκευής εάν οι επαφές σύνδεσης στην πλάκα
ψησίματος είναι στεγνές.

► Το καλώδιο πρέπει να ελέγχεται τακτικά για σημάδια φθορών.
Στην περίπτωση που το καλώδιο έχει υποστεί φθορές, η συσκευή

► Μπορεί να γίνεται χρήση αυτής της συσκευής από παιδιά άνω

γνώσεων, εφόσον επιτηρούνται ή έχουν εκπαιδευτεί αναφορικά
με την ασφαλή χρήση της συσκευής και έχουν κατανοήσει τους
επακόλουθους κινδύνους.
► Τα παιδιά δεν επιτρέπεται να παίζουν με τη συσκευή.
► Ο καθαρισμός και η συντήρηση χρήστη δεν επιτρέπεται να

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΠΥΡΚΑΓΙΑΣ!
► Ποτέ μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή κάτω από
εντοιχισμένα ερμάρια ή δίπλα σε κουρτίνες,
ράφια ή άλλα εύφλεκτα αντικείμενα.
► Τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή μόνο επάνω σε μια
θερμανθεκτική βάση.
1) Απομακρύνετε όλα τα εξαρτήματα από το
χαρτοκιβώτιο και αφαιρέστε το υλικό συσκευασίας, καθώς και ενδεχόμενες προστατευτικές
μεμβράνες.
2) Καθαρίστε όλα τα τμήματα όπως περιγράφεται
στο Κεφάλαιο „Καθαρισμός και φροντίδα“.
Βεβαιωθείτε ότι όλα τα εξαρτήματα είναι εντελώς
στεγνά.
3) Τοποθετήστε τη συσκευή επάνω σε μια θερμανθεκτική, καθαρή και επίπεδη επιφάνεια.
Η συσκευή δεν επιτρέπεται να τοποθετείται
απευθείας σε έναν τοίχο ή σε ένα ερμάριο.
4) Ωθήστε την υποδοχή συλλογής λίπους 3
στις ράγες στην κάτω πλευρά της συσκευής.
5) Ωθήστε το θερμοστάτη 5 στην υποδοχή 1
στη συσκευή. Προσέξτε ώστε ο ρυθμιστής
θερμοκρασίας 7 να βρίσκεται πάντα στο
"0", προτού συνδέσετε το θερμοστάτη με την
υποδοχή 1.
6) Βάλτε το βύσμα στην πρίζα.
Πριν την πρώτη χρήση
1) Λαδώστε την πλάκα ψησίματος 4 ελαφρώς με
κατάλληλο λίπος ή λάδι για ψήσιμο/ψήσιμο
στο γκριλ.
Έτσι διαλύονται καλύτερα ενδεχόμενα υπολείμματα από τη διαδικασία ετοιμασίας που
υπάρχουν στην πλάκα ψησίματος 4.
2) Θέστε το θερμοστάτη 5 στη βαθμίδα 5 και
αφήστε τη συσκευή να ζεσταθεί για 5 λεπτά.
3) Μετά από 5 λεπτά περιστρέψτε πάλι το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 7 στη βαθμίδα 0.
4) Στη συνέχεια τραβήξτε πάλι το βύσμα και
αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει.
ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ
Κατά το πρώτο ζέσταμα της συσκευής μπορεί
►
να προκύψουν υπολείμματα από τη διαδικασία
ετοιμασίας, όπως και μικρή ανάπτυξη καπνού
και οσμής. Αυτό είναι φυσιολογικό και πλήρως
ακίνδυνο. Φροντίζετε για επαρκή αερισμό, για
παράδειγμα ανοίξτε ένα παράθυρο.
5) Σκουπίζετε την πλάκα ψησίματος 4 με ένα
νωπό πανί. Εξασφαλίζετε ότι όλα τα εξαρτήματα είναι πλήρως στεγνά, προτού θέσετε σε
λειτουργία τη συσκευή.
Η συσκευή είναι πλέον έτοιμη για λειτουργία.

► Όταν η συσκευή είναι σε λειτουργία, πιάνετε
την μόνο από τις χειρολαβές και από το
ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 7. Κίνδυνος
εγκαύματος!
Αφού έχετε εισαγάγει την υποδοχή συλλογής λίπους 3, το θερμοστάτη 5 στην υποδοχή 1 και
έχετε συνδέσει το βύσμα με το δίκτυο ρεύματος:
1) Θέστε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 7 στην
επιθυμητή βαθμίδα θερμοκρασίας. Η λυχνία
ελέγχου 6 ανάβει. Μόλις η λυχνία ελέγχου 6
σβήσει τότε έχει επιτευχθεί η ρυθμισμένη
θερμοκρασία.

Η λυχνία ελέγχου 6 ανάβει, όσο η συσκευή
►
θερμαίνεται στη ρυθμισμένη βαθμίδα
θερμοκρασίας. Όταν επιτευχθεί η βαθμίδα
θερμοκρασίας, η λυχνία ελέγχου 6 σβήνει.
Ωστόσο μπορεί να ανάβει και να σβήνει
συνεχώς. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι η ρυθμισμένη
θερμοκρασία μειώθηκε για λίγο και ότι η
συσκευή πάλι ζεστάθηκε.
2) Βάλτε λίγο φυτικό λάδι στην πλάκα ψησίματος 4.
ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ
Το υπερβάλλον λίπος ή άλλα υγρά τρέχουν
►
στην υποδοχή συλλογής λίπους 3!
3) Τοποθετήστε το προϊόν ψησίματος επάνω στην
πλάκα ψησίματος 4.
Εφόσον απαιτείται, γυρίστε το προϊόν ψησίματος μετά από λίγη ώρα.
4) Όταν ετοιμαστεί το προϊόν ψησίματος, απομακρύνετέ το με τη βοήθεια θερμανθεκτικών πλαστικών ή ξύλινων εργαλείων (π.χ. με μια ξύλινη
σπάτουλα 8) από την πλάκα ψησίματος 4.
5) Γυρίστε το θερμοστάτη 5 στο "0".
6) Τραβήξτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα.
Καθαρισμός και φροντίδα

Πριν από κάθε καθαρισμό αποσυνδέετε το

βύσμα από την πρίζα! Υπάρχει κίνδυνος

το θερμοστάτη 5 από την υποδοχή 1 της
συσκευής.
Ποτέ μη βυθίζετε τη συσκευή σε νερό ή σε
άλλα υγρά!

► Αφήνετε πάντα πρώτα τη συσκευή να κρυώνει,

Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τριβικά ή επιθετικά απορ-

ρυπαντικά. Αυτά μπορεί να καταστρέψουν
την επιφάνεια!
■ Ωθήστε το λίπος και / ή υπόλοιπα υγρών με
τη βοήθεια μιας ξύλινης σπάτουλας 8 μέσα
από το άνοιγμα 2 στην υποδοχή συλλογής
λίπους 3. Μαζέψτε το υπόλοιπο λίπος με
χαρτί κουζίνας.
■ Σκουπίστε την πλάκα ψησίματος 4 με ένα
νωπό πανί.
ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ
Εάν πιο επίμονες βρομιές κολλάνε επάνω
►
στην πλάκα ψησίματος 4, χρησιμοποιήστε
λίγο απορρυπαντικό. Στη συνέχεια καθαρίστε
την πλάκα ψησίματος 4 με καθαρό νερό.
Προσέξτε ώστε να μην απομένουν υπολείμματα απορρυπαντικού επάνω στην πλάκα
ψησίματος 4.
► Μετά τον καθαρισμό με απορρυπαντικό
πρέπει ωστόσο η πλάκα ψησίματος 4 να
περαστεί με λίγο λάδι!
■ Καθαρίζετε το θερμοστάτη 5 με ένα νωπό πανί.
Για πιο σκληρές βρομιές βάλτε στο πανί λίγο
ήπιο απορρυπαντικό.
Εξασφαλίζετε ότι ο θερμοστάτης 5 έχει πάλι
στεγνώσει πλήρως, προτού τεθεί πάλι σε
λειτουργία.
■ Καθαρίζετε την ξύλινη σπάτουλα 8 και την
υποδοχή συλλογής λίπους 3 σε ζεστό νερό.
Προσθέστε ένα ήπιο καθαριστικό μέσο.
Ξεπλένετε όλα τα εξαρτήματα με καθαρό νερό.
Εξασφαλίζετε ότι όλα τα εξαρτήματα έχουν
στεγνώσει πριν από την εκ νέου χρήση.
ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ
Η υποδοχή συλλογής λίπους 3 μπορεί να

πλυθεί και στο πλυντήριο πιάτων.

Εγγύηση και σέρβις
Η παρούσα συσκευή διαθέτει 3 χρόνια εγγύηση από την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Η συσκευή
κατασκευάστηκε και ελέγχθηκε προσεκτικά πριν
από την αποστολή. Παρακαλούμε φυλάξτε την
απόδειξη ταμείου ως απόδειξη για την αγορά.
Σε περίπτωση απαίτησης εγγύησης επικοινωνήστε τηλεφωνικώς με το τμήμα σέρβις. Μόνο έτσι
μπορεί να εξασφαλιστεί δωρεάν αποστολή του
εμπορεύματός σας.
Η απόδοση εγγύησης ισχύει μόνο για σφάλματα
υλικού ή κατασκευής, όχι όμως για ζημιές από τη
μεταφορά, για εξαρτήματα φθοράς ή για βλάβες
σε εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες ή
συσσωρευτές. Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για
ιδιωτική και όχι για επαγγελματική χρήση.
Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης
χρήσης, χρήσης βίας και παρεμβάσεων, οι οποίες
δεν διεξήχθησαν από το εξουσιοδοτημένο μας
τμήμα σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.
Τα νομικά σας δικαιώματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω
αυτής της εγγύησης.
Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν επιμηκύνεται μέσω της εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει και για εξαρτήματα, τα οποία
έχουν αντικατασταθεί και επισκευαστεί. Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις κατά την
αγορά πρέπει να γνωστοποιηθούν αμέσως μετά το
άνοιγμα της συσκευασίας, το αργότερο ωστόσο
δύο ημέρες μετά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Μετά τη
λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης, τυχόν εμφανιζόμενες
επισκευές χρεώνονται.
Απόρριψη
Σε καμία περίπτωση μην
απορρίπτετε τη συσκευή στα
οικιακά απορρίμματα. Αυτό το
προϊόν υπόκειται στην Ευρωπαϊκή Οδηγία 2012/19/EU.
Απορρίπτετε τη συσκευή μέσω μιας εγκεκριμένης
επιχείρησης απόρριψης ή μέσω της κοινοτικής
επιχείρησης απόρριψης. Τηρείτε τους ισχύοντες
κανονισμούς. Σε περίπτωση αμφιβολιών επικοινωνείτε με την αρμόδια επιχείρηση απόρριψης.
Η συσκευασία αποτελείται από φιλικά
προς το περιβάλλον υλικά, τα οποία
μπορείτε να απορρίψετε μέσω των τοπικών θέσεων ανακύκλωσης.

Gerät
„Teppanyaki“ sind Gerichte aus der japanischen
Küche. Traditionell werden diese Gerichte auf
einer heißen Stahlplatte („Teppan“) direkt am Tisch
zubereitet.
Die Möglichkeiten sind hierbei vielfältig: es können
vorgekochte Nudeln, Fleisch, Fisch, Gemüse oder
Teigfl aden zubereitet werden.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von
autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen,

► Schützen Sie die Netzleitung vor Berührungen mit heißen Geräte-
teilen. Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe einer off enen
Flamme, einer Heizplatte oder eines beheizten Ofens.
► Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht dem Regen aus und benutzen Sie
es auch niemals in feuchter oder nasser Umgebung. Achten Sie
darauf, dass die Netzleitung während des Betriebs niemals nass
oder feucht wird.
► Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere
sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes oder heruntergefallenes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
► Überprüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme und nach jeder Reinigung
des Gerätes, ob die Steckkontakte an der Grillplatte trocken sind.
► Das Netzkabel muss regelmäßig auf Zeichen von Beschädigungen
untersucht werden. Falls das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, darf das

► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fern-
wirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.
► Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebes niemals unbeauf-
sichtigt.
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netz-
stecker nicht mit heißen Quellen, wie Kochplatten oder off enen
Flammen, in Berührung kommen.
► Benutzen Sie keine Kohle oder ähnliche Brennstoff e, um das
Gerät zu betreiben!
► Schützen Sie die Antihaftbeschichtung, indem Sie keine metalli-
schen Werkzeuge wie Messer, Gabel usw. benutzen. Wenn die
Antihaftbeschichtung beschädigt ist, benutzen Sie das Gerät
nicht weiter.
► Betreiben Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit dem mitgelieferten

► Stellen Sie das Gerät nur auf eine hitzebe-
ständige Unterlage.
1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile aus dem Karton und
entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial und
eventuelle Schutzfolien.
2) Reinigen Sie alle Teile, wie im Kapitel „Reinigung
und Pfl ege“ beschrieben. Stellen Sie sicher, dass
alle Teile vollständig getrocknet sind.
3) Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine hitzebeständige,
saubere und ebene Fläche. Achten Sie dabei
darauf, das Gerät nicht direkt an eine Wand
oder einen Schrank zu stellen.
4) Schieben Sie die Fettauff angschale 3 in die
Schienen an der Unterseite des Gerätes.
5) Schieben Sie das Thermostat 5 in die Buchse 1
am Gerät. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Temperaturregler 7 immer auf „0“ steht, bevor Sie
das Themostat mit der Buchse 1 verbinden.
6) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
1) Fetten Sie die Grillplatte 4 leicht mit zum
Backen/Grillen geeigneter Fett oder Öl ein.
So lösen sich eventuelle fertigungsbedingte
Rückstände an der Grillplatte 4 besser.
2) Stellen Sie das Thermostat 5 auf Stufe 5 und
lassen Sie das Gerät 5 Minuten aufheizen.
3) Nach 5 Minuten drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 7 wieder auf Stufe 0.
4) Ziehen Sie dann den Netzstecker und lassen
Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
HINWEIS
Beim erstmaligen Aufheizen des Gerätes
►
kann es durch fertigungsbedingte Rückstände
zu leichter Rauch- und Geruchsentwicklung
kommen. Das ist normal und völlig ungefährlich. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung,
öff nen Sie zum Beispiel ein Fenster.
5) Wischen Sie die Grillplatte 4 mit einem feuchten
Tuch ab. Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Teile vollständig getrocknet sind, bevor sie das Gerät in
Betrieb nehmen.
Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.
Thermostat-Einstellungen
Stufe 0: Grill ausgeschaltet
Stufe > 0 - 1: Grill eingeschaltet;
niedrige Temperatur
Stufe 1 - 3: Grill eingeschaltet; mittlere
Temperatur (z.B. Gemüse)
Stufe 3 - 5: Grill eingeschaltet; hohe
Temperatur (z.B. Fleisch)

► Fassen Sie das Gerät, wenn es in Betrieb ist,
nur an den Handgriff en und am Temperaturregler 7 an. Verbrennungsgefahr!
Nachdem die Fettauff angschale 3 eingeschoben
ist, das Thermostat 5 in die Buchse 1 geschoben,
und der Netzstecker mit dem Stromnetz verbunden ist:
1) Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler 7 auf die
gewünschte Temperaturstufe. Die Kontrollleuchte 6 leuchtet. Sobald die Kontrollleuchte 6
erlischt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht.

Die Kontrollleuchte 6 leuchtet, während das

Gerät auf die eingestellte Temperaturstufe
aufheizt. Wenn die Temperaturstufe erreicht
ist, erlischt die Kontrollleuchte 6.
Jedoch kann diese immer wieder aufl euchten
und erlöschen. Das bedeutet, dass die eingestellte Temperatur kurzzeitig unterschritten
war und das Gerät wieder aufgeheizt hat.
2) Geben Sie ein wenig Planzenöl auf die Grillplatte 4.
HINWEIS
Überschüssiges Fett oder andere Flüssigkeiten

3) Legen Sie das Grillgut auf die Grillplatte 4.
Wenn nötig wenden Sie das Grillgut nach
einiger Zeit.
4) Nehmen Sie das Grillgut mit Hilfe von hitzebeständigen Plastik- oder Holzbesteck (z.B. mit
einem Holzspatel 8) von der Grillplatte 4,
wenn es fertig ist.
5) Drehen Sie das Thermostat 5 auf „0“.
6) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Fett mit einem Küchenkrepp-Papier auf.
■ Wischen Sie die Grillplatte 4 mit einem feuchten
Tuch ab.
HINWEIS
Wenn hartnäckigere Verschmutzungen
►
auf der Grillplatte 4 haften, benutzen Sie
etwas Spülmittel. Wischen Sie danach die
Grillplatte 4 mit klarem Wasser ab. Achten
Sie darauf, dass keine Spülmittelreste auf der
Grillplatte 4 verbleiben.
► Nach der Reinigung mit Spülmittel muss die
Grillplatte 4 jedoch wieder leicht mit Öl
eingerieben werden!
■ Reinigen Sie das Thermostat 5 mit einem
feuchten Tuch.
Bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen geben Sie
ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Thermostat 5 wieder
vollkommen trocken ist, bevor dieses wieder in
Betrieb genommen wird.
■ Reinigen Sie die Holzspatel 8 und die Fettauf-
fangschale 3 in warmem Wasser. Geben Sie
ein mildes Spülmittel hinzu.
Spülen Sie alle Teile mit klarem Wasser ab. Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Teile vor der erneuten
Verwendung trocken sind.

Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Transportschäden,
