this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all handling and safety guide­lines. Use the product only as described and for the range of applications speci­fi ed. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place Upon cession of the

Intended use

The appliance is exclusively intended to dehumidify living spaces, basements or
storage areas with an ambient temperature of 5 °C to 35 °C. The appliance
may only be used indoors. The appliance is intended solely for personal use
and not for commercial deployment. Usage other than as described above is
impermissible and may result in injury and/or damage to the appliance.
The manufacturer shall assume no liability for damage attributable to misuse.
The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Safety

In this section, you will receive important safety advice relating to appliance
handling. Improper use may result in personal injury and material damage.

Risk of electrocution

DANGER

Risk of fatal injury from electrocution!
Contact with live cables or components can result in

fatal injury!

Please observe the following safety guidelines to prevent
electrical hazards.

► Do not use the appliance if the power cable or the con-

necting plug is damaged.

► There is a risk of electrocution if live connections are

touched and the electrical and mechanical structure is
changed.

Risk of electrocution due to moisture

DANGER

► Do not place the appliance in water, nor in water pool-

ing areas or in puddles.

► The appliance may never be operated near a bath tub,

a shower, a fi lled wash basin or similar structures.

► The appliance, the connection cabling and the mains

plug may not be immersed in water or other fl uids.

► Protect the appliance against drops or splashes of water.
► In the event that fl uid should enter the appliance (apart

from in the water tank), immediately disconnect the mains
plug. Arrange to have the appliance checked before put­ting it into operation again after a period of remission.

► Do not handle the appliance with damp hands.
► Should the appliance have fallen into water, disconnect the

mains plug immediately. Remove the appliance only thereafter.

Risk of explosion

DANGER

► Do not use the appliance in a potentially explosive environ-

ment containing combustible liquids, gases or dusts. Electrical
appliances generate sparks that can ignite the dust or fumes.

Risk of disease

DANGER

► The stored water is not suitable for drinking or watering.

There are potential health hazards.

WARNING OF MATERIAL DAMAGE

► Do not use the appliance in swimming pools, wash rooms

or similar facilities.

► The appliance is not suitable for drying lagging. If, after

a pipe has burst, insulation or lagging materials become
damp, consult an expert under all circumstances.

► Never expose the appliance to temperatures of 0 °C

or lower. Residual water in the pipes could freeze and
damage the system.

► Do not use the appliance in a dusty or chlorinated envi-

ronment.

Basic safety guidelines

To ensure safe handling of the appliance, follow the safety
guidelines set out below

■ Prior to use, check the appliance for visible, external dam-

age. Do not operate an appliance that has been damaged
or dropped.

■ Should the connecting cable or the connections be damaged,

have them exchanged by authorised specialist staff or by the
Customer Service department in order to prevent hazards.

■ Do not operate the appliance outdoors.

■ During operation, always keep windows and doors closed

so that the appliance can work eff ectively.

■ Do not operate the appliance in the proximity of highly in-

fl ammable gases or materials, near naked fl ames or in areas
prone to oil and water splashing.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and

above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge,
provided that they are under supervision or have been told
how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the poten­tial risks. Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.
Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried
out by children unless they are supervised.

■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist com-

panies or by the Customer Service department. Improper
repairs can pose signifi cant risks to the user. Warranty enti­tlement shall also lapse.

■ This appliance should not be exposed to rain. Protect the ap-

pliance against moisture and the ingress of fl uids and objects
into the casing. Never immerse the appliance in water and
do not place objects containing fl uids (such as vases) on the
appliance. The appliance may be irreparably damaged.

■ Heavy objects are not to be placed on the appliance.

■ The appliance is not to be covered (e.g. with newspapers,

cushions or blankets).

■ No objects are to be inserted into the ventilation grille.

■ Avoid direct sunlight.

■ Naked fl ames, such as burning candles, may not be placed

upon or directly alongside the appliance.

■ In the event that malfunctions occur, and in bad weather,

disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.

■ Always ensure that the air inlet and air outlet apertures remain

free of soiling during operation. Never cover the appliance!

■ Always place the appliance on a solid, fl at surface so that it

cannot tip over.

■ Do not mount the appliance. Position the appliance's side

panels so as to allow a clearance of at least 20 cm from
walls or other objects, and ensure a clearance of at least 50
cm from the front, rear and top panels of the appliance in
order to ensure good air circulation.

■ The appliance may only be operated in rooms with an ambi-

ent temperature of 5 °C to 35 °C.

■ Use the appliance only in areas measuring a total of 20 m².

■ Clean the air fi lters before they become heavily soiled.

■ While draining the tube, ensure that it does not become

blocked and that the open end of the tube is positioned at a
lower level than the outlet aperture. The end of the tube must
be positioned above a drain.

■ Operate the appliance only with the integrated water tank

or with the tube installed.

■ Connect the earthing pin plug only to a properly installed,

easily accessible plug socket with protected contacts, the
voltage of which corresponds to the specifi cations on the
rating plate. The plug socket must remain easily accessible
even following connection.

■ Before cleaning, always disconnect the mains plug from the

mains power socket.

Initial operation

Consignment scope and carriage inspection

The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

▯ Dehumidifi er
▯ Tube
▯ These operating instructions

NOTE

Check the consignment for completeness and for signs of visible damage.

►
► If the consignment is incomplete or damaged due to defective packaging

or carriage, contact the Service hotline (see the chapter Service).

♦ Remove all packaging materials and all carriage braces from the appliance.
♦ Remove the fi lm from the control panel.

Disposal of packaging materials

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during carriage. The
packaging materials have been selected in accordance with environmentally
congruent and disposal-specifi c parameters and are, therefore, recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the materials cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Before initial use

♦ Place the appliance on a fl at, dry and solid surface.
♦ Allow the appliance to remain in the deployment position for approx.

30 minutes so that the coolant can pool.

♦ Check that the fl oat, located on the right-hand side of the water tank 5,

is able to move freely.

♦ Check whether the water tank 5 has been correctly inserted.
♦ Connect the mains plug into a mains power socket.

Electrical connection

CAUTION

Before connecting the appliance, compare the specifi cations for the

►

required input voltage on the rating plate with the voltage source desig­nated for operation. These data must be congruent so that no damage is
sustained by the appliance.

► The power cable must always be easily accessible, so that the appliance

can be swiftly removed from the mains in the event of an emergency.

► Ascertain that the power cable is undamaged and that it is not routed over

hot surfaces and/or sharp edges, otherwise it will become damaged.

► Ensure that the power cable is not taut or kinked.

Guidelines for operation

■ Should the air in your living spaces consistently evince excess relative humidity,

the cause should be identifi ed and addressed. (Sustained - year-round - venting
is generally inappropriate.)

■ The optimal ambient temperature for dehumidifying the air is 5 °C to 35 °C.

Using a dehumidifi er at temperatures below 5 °C is redundant, as there is little
humidity in the air.

■ During operation, room temperature can increase by between 1 °C and 4 °C,

depending on the size of the room. This is normal.

Automatic defrosting

To ensure that the appliance does not ice up during sustained operation, it defrosts
automatically. This involves activation of dehumidifi cation, with the motor running
at the highest setting. The ranges involved vary.

Handling and operation

In this section, you will receive important information pertaining to appliance
handling and operation.

Switching the appliance on/off

♦ Press the STANDBY button 21 to switch the appliance on. The OPERATION

LED 20 lights up.

♦ Press the STANDBY button 21 to switch the appliance off . The OPERATION

LED 20 goes out.

NOTE

The appliance starts in the mode last selected.

►
► After a power failure, if the appliance is disconnected from the mains, or

after switching off owing to the overheating guard, the appliance starts in
the mode last selected.

♦ If a timer has been programmed, the appliance switches off defi nitively

upon lapse of the time specifi ed (1-24 hour/s).

♦ If the relative humidity value has been defi ned in the TARGET HUMIDITY

programme, the appliance switches off once the value has been attained.
If the value is exceeded, the appliance switches on again.

♦ The appliance switches off if the water tank 5 is full or has been removed.

If wrongly positioned, or if the water tank 5 has been removed, the TANK
FULL LED 19 lights up when the appliance is switched on and an audible
signal is emitted.

NOTE

The water tank 5 must be fully inserted in the appliance; otherwise, the

condensate cannot be collected properly.

Always open the air outlet valve, regardless of the appliance's respective pro­gramme. If the valve is not opened, the overheating guard switches the appli­ance off after some time for approx. 3 minutes.

Selecting programmes

NOTE

The values defi ned for relative humidity (rh) are recognised, allowing for a

►

deviation of approx. ±3%. This is necessary so that the appliance does not
constantly switch itself on and off .

■ The appliance has 4 distinct programmes.

■ You switch between the programmes by pressing the MODE button 24.

■ The LED programme 16 before the active programme glows.

AUTOMATIC MODE

The relative humidity (rh) to be attained is permanently set to 55%. The compressor
eff ects dehumidifi cation until this value has been attained, and then switches off .
If relative humidity again increases, the compressor switches on again.

In this programme, the appliance works at 3 distinct levels of intensity:

– rh above 70%: The appliance dehumidifi es at the highest level.
– rh between 55% and 70%: The appliance dehumidifi es at standard

intensity.

– rh below 55%: No dehumidifi cation; only the fan continues to run.

NOTE

The rh values specifi c to AUTOMATIC mode are not identical to the values

HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW on the display 17.

Select this programme for sustained dehumidifi cation at a comfortable relative
humidity of 55%.

TARGET HUMIDITY

30 – 80, or CO
fl ashes for
5 seconds

In the TARGET HUMIDITY programme, you can select relative humidity in 5%
increments between 30% and 80% by pressing the arrow keys 23. The appli­ance dehumidifi es at a low level of intensity until the defi ned value has been at­tained, and then switches off . If relative humidity again increases, the compressor
switches on again.

– 30% – 80%: setting for the room's desired relative humidity
– CO: The appliance dehumidifi es on a sustained basis.

Select this programme for sustained dehumidifi cation or for dehumidifi cation
specifi c to the value you have defi ned.

Indicator Meaning

Adjust relative humidity during sustained operation.
Values between 30 and 80, or CO fl ashes for 5seconds
upon switching on the appliance.
CO: The appliance dehumidifi es on a sustained basis.

DRYING LAUNDRY

■ You use this programme to dry damp laundry or shoes faster. The appliance

dehumidifi es at the highest level of intensity. Manipulate the air outlet valve
such that the air current is directed towards the articles of clothing to be dried.

AIR PURIFICATION

No dehumidifi cation takes place in this programme. The air in the room is drawn
in via the fi lter in front of the air inlet aperture, where it is purifi ed.

Timer

■ The timer can be combined with all 4 programmes.

■ One of 24 switch-off times, ranging from 1 to 24 hours, can be selected.

■ Once the time defi ned has elapsed, the appliance switches off defi nitively and

the timer is deactivated.

♦ Press the TIMER button 22 during operation.
♦ Die TIMER LED 18 fl ashes.
♦ Use the arrow keys 23 to select a switch-off time of 1 to 24 hours. The

selected time fl ashes on the display 17 for 3 seconds and is then stored.

♦ In order to end timer activation prematurely, press TIMER 22 twice or switch

the appliance off by pressing STANDBY 21.

Timer for all programmes: These values (1 - 24 hours) fl ash for
5 seconds if you defi ne a switch-off time using the arrow keys.

Water tank

■ The water tank 5 has a storage capacity of 7 litres.

■ The water level is indicated on the front of the water tank 5.

■ The appliance may only be operated once the water tank 5 is inserted.

■ If the water tank 5 is full, the TANK FULL LED 19 starts to fl ash.

The appliance switches off after a few seconds. An alarm sounds for approx.
20 seconds. The TANK FULL LED

♦ To empty the water tank 5, pull it out a little to the left and the right and

then hold it by the carrying handle (see Figure 1).

Tube drainage

In very damp rooms, it is often more appropriate for the water not to collect in
the water tank, but for it to be drained directly by means of a tube.

WARNING

► When draining via the tube, sustained operation of the appliance is man-

dated. This means that the condensate must be able to drain securely so
that no pooling forms on the fl oor.

♦ Using a screwdriver, prise open the closure 13 on the reverse of the appli-

ance and remove the plug 14.

♦ Position the tube 25, supplied with the appliance, over the outlet aperture

for the drainage tube.

♦ Then insert the plug 14 into the outlet aperture for the water tank (see Figure 2).

♦ Set up the appliance such that the end of the tube is positioned over a drain.

Thus, the open end of the tube must be positioned beneath the appliance's

outlet (i.e. the tube must slope downwards).

♦ Switch on the appliance as usual and select a programme.
♦ If you wish to drain the water tank 5 again, switch off the appliance, with-

draw the tube 25 and remove the plug 14 from the outlet aperture for the

water tank and insert it again into the outlet aperture for the drainage tube.

Cleaning

CAUTION

Potential appliance damage!

► Protect the appliance from moisture and from the ingress of fl uids.
► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, never immerse it in water.
► Always remove the mains plug from the mains power socket before clean-

ing the appliance.

► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these may corrode

the surface of the casing.

► Do not clean the water tank 5 in a dishwasher. Otherwise, it will be

damaged.

♦ If required, wipe the casing with a slightly damp cloth.
♦ Remove the water tank 5 and pour away the water; then dry the water

tank 5 thoroughly, both inside and out, before replacing it.

♦ In order to clean the inside of the water tank 5, you must remove the black

lid. To do this, release the carrying handle from the retainer while pressing

it out sideways. When doing so, ensure that the handle plug coincides with

the opening in the water container (See Figure 3.)

♦ Now, remove the black lid from the water tank 5.
♦ To insert, follow the reverse sequence.
♦ It is recommended that the water tank 5 be cleaned regularly every two

following cleaning. To do this, use a standard, alcohol-based disinfecting

agent or high-proof alcohol. Both substances are completely harmless if

followed by repeated rinsing with lukewarm water.

Cleaning and changing the fi lter

The performance of the appliance also depends upon how clean the fi lter is.

■ The plastic fi lter 9 should be washed every 2 weeks.

■ The carbon fi lter 10 should be cleaned every 2 weeks and changed every 6

months.

NOTE

You can purchase new carbon fi lters in almost all shops selling household

goods. The carbon fi lter mats just need to be cut to size.

♦ Switch the appliance off and remove the mains plug.
♦ Remove the water tank 5 from the appliance.
♦ To remove the air inlet grille 8, three plastic lugs located at the base of the

air inlet grille 8 must be pressed upwards slightly to allow release.

♦ Remove the air inlet grille 8 in a downwards motion.
♦ To remove the plastic fi lter 9, two plastic lugs located at the base of the

plastic fi lter 9 must be pressed downwards slightly to allow release.

♦ Now, remove the plastic fi lter 9 including the plastic frames from the appli-

ance by pulling it downwards.

♦ The carbon fi lter 10 is also located behind the plastic fi lter 9.
♦ First remove the plastic fi lter 9 from the plastic frames.
♦ Now remove the carbon fi lter 10.
♦ Wash down both fi lters with lukewarm water.
♦ Allow both fi lters to dry completely before re-inserting the fi lter in the

appliance.

♦ To insert, follow the reverse sequence.

Protection against overheating

The appliance has an overheating guard.

■ The overheating guard switches the appliance off automatically if there is a risk

of overheating.

■ For approx. 3 minutes thereafter, the appliance cannot be re-started.

■ After approx 3 minutes, the appliance re-starts automatically.

■ Check whether external factors may have triggered the overheating guard.

(e.g. temperatures above 35 °C or a closed valve obstructing the air outlet).

Storage

♦ Remove the mains plug from the mains power socket.
♦ Coil the power cord 12 around the cable spool 11 and secure the mains

plug to the power cord 12 using the securing brace 15 provided with

the cable.

♦ Empty the water tank 5 if not using the appliance for a prolonged period.
♦ Always store the appliance in an upright position and in a dry and dust-free

environment.

Beim Kontakt mit unter Spannung stehenden Leitun-

gen oder Bauteilen besteht Lebensgefahr!

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um eine
Gefährdung durch elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden:

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Anschlusskabel

oder der Anschlussstecker beschädigt ist.

► Werden spannungsführende Anschlüsse berührt und der

elektrische und mechanische Aufbau verändert, besteht
Stromschlaggefahr.

Gefahr von Stromschlag durch Feuchtigkeit

► Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser / auch nicht in

Wasserlachen oder Pfützen.

► Das Gerät, die Anschlussleitung und der Netzstecker dürfen

► Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser.
► Sollte Flüssigkeit in das Gerät (außer in den Wasserbe-

hälter) gelangen, sofort den Netzstecker ziehen. Vor
einer erneuten Inbetriebnahme das Gerät prüfen lassen.

► Bedienen Sie das Gerät nicht mit feuchten Händen.
► Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser gefallen sein, sofort den Netz-

stecker ziehen. Erst danach das Gerät herausnehmen.

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in explosionsgefährdeter

Umgebung, in der sich brennbare Flüssigkeiten, Gase
oder Stäube befinden. Elektrogeräte erzeugen Funken,
die den Staub oder die Dämpfe entzünden können.

► Das gesammelte Wasser ist nicht zum Trinken oder Wäs-

sern geeignet. Es besteht Gesundheitsgefahr.

WARNUNG VOR SACHSCHÄDEN!

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in Schwimmbädern,

Wasch- oder ähnlichen Räumen.

► Das Gerät ist nicht für die Trocknung von Dämmung

geeignet. Falls nach einem Rohrbruch Isolierung oder
Dämmmaterial feucht geworden sind, fragen Sie auf
jeden Fall einen Fachmann.

► Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals Temperaturen von 0°C

oder weniger aus. Restwasser in den Leitungen könnte
gefrieren und das System beschädigen.

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie

von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht
mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen

■ Ziehen Sie bei auftretenden Störungen und bei Gewitter den

Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

■ Achten Sie darauf, dass die Luftein- und die Luftaustrittsöff -

nung während des Betriebs immer frei von Verschmutzungen
sind. Decken Sie das Gerät niemals ab!

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine feste, ebene Fläche, damit ein

Umkippen ausgeschlossen ist.

■ Bauen Sie das Gerät nicht ein. Stellen Sie die seitlichen Flä-

chen des Gerätes mit einem Mindestabstand von 20 cm zu
Wänden oder anderen Gegenständen entfernt auf, sowie zur
Vorder-/Rückseite und oberhalb des Gerätes einen Mindest­abstand von 50 cm, um eine gute Luftzirkulation zu gewähr­leisten.

■ Das Gerät darf nur in Räumen mit einer Temperatur von 5°C

bis 35°C betrieben werden.

■ Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur in Räumen bis max 20 m².

■ Reinigen Sie die Luftfi lter, bevor sie stark verschmutzt sind.

■ Achten Sie bei der Schlauchentwässerung darauf, dass

Vor dem Erstgebrauch

♦ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen ebenen, trockenen und festen Untergrund.
♦ Lassen Sie das Gerät in der Einsatzposition ca. 30 Minuten ruhig stehen,

damit sich die Kühlfl üssigkeit setzen kann.

♦ Prüfen Sie, dass der Schwimmer rechts im Wassertank 5 sich frei bewegen

kann.

♦ Prüfen Sie, ob der Wassertank 5 korrekt eingesetzt ist.
♦ Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Netzsteckdose.

Elektrischer Anschluss

ACHTUNG

Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Angaben zur

benötigten Eingangsspannung auf dem Typenschild mit der für den Betrieb
vorgesehenen Spannungsquelle. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen,
damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

► Das Netzkabel muss immer leicht zugänglich sein, so dass im Notfall das

Gerät schnell vom Stromnetz getrennt werden kann.

► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Netzkabel unbeschädigt ist und nicht

über heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird, sonst wird es
beschädigt.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht straff gespannt oder geknickt

wird.

Hinweise zum Betrieb

■ Sollten Sie in Wohnräumen dauerhaft eine zu hohe relative Luftfeuchtigkeit haben,

sollte die Ursache gefunden und beseitigt werden. (Dauerhaftes - jahrelanges ­Entlüften ist in der Regel nicht sinnvoll.)

■ Die optimale Umgebungstemperatur, um der Luft Feuchtigkeit zu entziehen, be-

trägt 5 bis 35°C. Unter 5°C hat der Einsatz eines Luftentfeuchters keinen Sinn,
da nur wenig Feuchtigkeit in der Luft ist.

■ Während des Betriebs kann die Raumtemperatur je nach Raumgröße zwischen

1- 4°C steigen. Dies ist normal.

Automatische Enteisung

Damit das Gerät im Dauerbetrieb nicht vereist, enteist es sich automatisch. Dabei
wird die Entfeuchtung eingestellt und der Motor läuft auf höchster Stufe. Die
Intervalle dafür sind unterschiedlich.

nach dem Ausschalten durch den Überhitzungsschutz startet das Gerät im
zuletzt gewählten Programm.

♦ Wurde ein Timer gesetzt, schaltet sich das Gerät nach Ablauf der Zeit

(1-24 Stunden) dauerhaft aus.

♦ Wurde im Programm ZIEL-LUFTFEUCHTIGKEIT der Wert für die relative Luft-

feuchtigkeit eingestellt, schaltet sich das Gerät aus, sobald der Wert erreicht
ist. Wird der Wert überschritten, schaltet sich das Gerät wieder ein.

♦ Das Gerät schaltet aus, wenn der Wassertank 5 voll ist oder entfernt wird.

Bei falschem Sitz oder wenn der Wassertank 5 entfernt wurde, leuchtet bei
eingeschalteten Gerät die LED WASSER-TANK VOLL 19 und ein akustisches
Signal ertönt.

HINWEIS

Die eingestellten Werte zur relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit (rF) werden mit einer

damit sich das Gerät nicht ständig ein- und ausschaltet.

■ Das Gerät verfügt über 4 verschiedene Programme.

■ Durch Drücken der Taste 24 schalten Sie zwischen den Programmen um.

■ Die Programm-LED 16 vor dem aktiven Programm leuchtet.

AUTOMATIK

Die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit (rF), die erreicht werden soll, ist fest auf 55%
eingestellt. Der Kompressor entfeuchtet, bis dieser Wert erreicht ist und schaltet
sich dann aus. Steigt die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit wieder an, schaltet sich der Kom­pressor wieder ein.

In diesem Programm arbeitet das Gerät in 3 unterschiedlichen Stufen:

– rF über 70%: Das Gerät entfeuchtet auf höchster Stufe.
– rF zwischen 55% und 70%: Das Gerät entfeuchtet mit normaler Stärke.

Das Gerät entfeuchtet auf kleiner Stufe, bis der eingestellte Wert erreicht ist und
schaltet dann die Entfeuchtung aus.
Steigt die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit wieder an, schaltet sich die Entfeuchtung wieder ein.

WÄSCHETROCKNUNG

■ Dieses Programm nutzen Sie, um feuchte Wäsche oder Schuhe schneller zu trock-

nen. Das Gerät entfeuchtet in der höchsten Stufe. Bewegen Sie die Klappe
des Luftauslasses so, dass der Luftstrahl auf die zu trocknenden Kleidungsstücke
gerichtet wird.

LUFTREINIGUNG

Bei diesem Programm fi ndet keine Entfeuchtung statt. Die Raumluft wird durch die
Filter vor der Lufteinlassöff nung angesogen und dort gereinigt.

Timer

■ Der Timer kann mit allen 4 Programmen kombiniert werden.

■ Es können 24 Ausschaltzeiten von 1 bis 24 Stunden gewählt werden.

■ Nach Ablauf der eingestellten Zeit wird das Gerät dauerhaft ausgeschaltet und

der Timer ist beendet.

♦ Drücken Sie während des Betriebs die Taste TIMER 22. Die LED TIMER 18

blinkt.

♦ Wählen Sie mit den Pfeiltasten 23 eine Ausschaltzeit von 1 bis 24 Stunden.

Die gewählte Zeit blinkt für 3 Sekunden im Display 17 und ist dann gespei­chert.

♦ Um den Timer vorzeitig zu beenden, drücken Sie zweimal TIMER 22 oder

schalten Sie das Gerät mit STAND-BY 21 aus.

Wassertank

■ Der Wassertank 5 hat ein Fassungsvermögen von 7 Litern.

■ Der Wasserstand kann vorne am Wassertank 5 überprüft werden.

■ Das Gerät kann nur mit eingesetztem Wassertank 5 betrieben werden.

■ Ist der Wassertank 5 voll, beginnt die LED WASSERTANK VOLL 19 zu blinken.

Das Gerät schaltet sich nach einigen Sekunden aus. Für ca. 20 Sekunden ertönt
ein Alarmton. Die LED WASSERTANK VOLL 19 blinkt, bis der Tank geleert ist.

♦ Um den Wassertank 5 zu entleeren, ziehen Sie ihn links und rechts etwas

heraus und tragen ihn dann am Griff (siehe Abbildung 1).

Schlauchentwässerung

Bei sehr feuchten Räumen ist es oft sinnvoller, dass das Wasser nicht im Wasser­tank gesammelt wird, sondern direkt über einen Schlauch ausgegeben wird.

WARNUNG

► Bei der Schlauchentwässerung läuft das Gerät im Dauerbetrieb durch. Das

bedeutet, dass das ausgeschiedene Wasser sicher ablaufen können muss,
damit sich auf dem Boden keine Pfützen bilden.

♦ Brechen Sie mithilfe eines Schraubendrehers den Verschluss 13 auf der

Rückseite des Gerätes heraus und entfernen Sie den Stopfen 14.

♦ Setzen Sie den mitgelieferten Schlauch 25 auf die Austrittsöff nung für den

Drainageschlauch.

♦ Setzen Sie den Stopfen 14 anschließend in die Austrittsöff nung für den

Wassertank ein (siehe Abbildung 2).

♦ Stellen Sie das Gerät so auf, dass das Schlauchende über einem Abfl uss en-

det. Dabei muss das off ene Schlauchende unter dem Auslass am Gerät liegen

(Der Schlauch muss also ein Gefälle haben).

♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät wie gewohnt ein und wählen Sie ein Programm.
♦ Wenn Sie wieder in den Wassertank 5 entwässern wollen, schalten Sie

das Gerät aus, ziehen Sie den Schlauch 25 ab und entfernen Sie den

Stopfen 14 aus der Austrittsöff nung für den Wassertank und stecken Sie ihn

wieder in die Austrittsöff nung für den Drainageschlauch.

Reinigung

ACHTUNG

Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes!

► Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten.
► Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals unter Wasser, um eine irreparable Beschädi-

gung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

► Ziehen Sie unbedingt den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose, bevor Sie

das Gerät reinigen.

► Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, da

diese die Gehäuseoberfl äche angreifen können.

► Reinigen Sie den Wassertank 5 nicht in der Spülmaschine. Dieser wird

dadurch sonst beschädigt.

♦ Wischen Sie das Gehäuse bei Bedarf mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch ab.
♦ Entnehmen Sie den Wassertank 5, gießen das Wasser weg und trocknen

♦ Entnehmen Sie jetzt den schwarzen Deckel aus dem Wassertank 5.
♦ Der Einbau erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
♦ Es empfi ehlt sich den Wassertank 5 regelmäßig alle zwei Wochen zu

reinigen, um Schimmelpilz und Bakterien zu vermeiden. Füllen Sie dazu den

Wassertank 5 mit lauwarmen Wasser und geben Sie ein handelsübliches

Spülmittel hinzu. Spülen Sie mehrmals mit lauwarmen Wasser nach. Zusätz-

lich empfi ehlt es sich nach der Reinigung eine Desinfektion durchzuführen.

Benutzen Sie dazu handelsübliches Desinfektionsmittel auf Alkoholbasis

oder hochprozentigen Alkohol. Beide Substanzen sind völlig unbedenklich,

wenn anschließend mehrmals mit lauwarmen Wasser nachgespült wird.

Filter reinigen und tauschen

Die Leistungsfähigkeit des Gerätes hängt auch von der Sauberkeit des Filters ab.

■ Der Kunststofffi lter 9 sollte alle 2 Wochen gewaschen werden.

■ Der Kohlefi lter 10 sollte alle 2 Wochen gereinigt und alle 6 Monate getauscht werden.

HINWEIS

Neue Kohlefi lter erhalten Sie in fast allen Geschäften für Haushaltswaren.

►

Die Kohlefi ltermatten müssen nur zugeschnitten werden.

♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netz-

steckdose.

♦ Nehmen Sie den Wassertank 5 aus dem Gerät.
♦ Um das Gitter für den Lufteinlass 8 abzuziehen, befi nden sich an der

Unterseite des Gitters für den Lufteinlass 8 drei Kunststoffl aschen, die zum

Lösen etwas nach oben gedrückt werden müssen.

♦ Ziehen Sie das Gitter für den Lufteinlass 8 nach unten hin ab.
♦ Um den Kunststofffi lter 9 zu entnehmen, befi nden sich an der Unterseite

des Kunststofffi lters 9 zwei Kunststoffl aschen, die Sie zum Lösen etwas

nach unten drücken müssen.

♦ Entnehmen Sie jetzt den Kunststofffi lter 9 samt Plastikrahmen aus dem

Gerät, indem Sie ihn nach unten hin abziehen.

♦ Hinter dem Kunststofffi lter 9 befi ndet sich auch der Kohlefi lter 10.
♦ Entfernen Sie zuerst den Kunststofffi lter 9 aus dem Plastikrahmen.
♦ Entnehmen Sie jetzt den Kohlefi lter 10.
♦ Waschen Sie beide Filter mit lauwarmen Wasser ab.
♦ Lassen Sie beide Filter komplett trocknen, bevor Sie die Filter wieder in das

Gerät einsetzen.

♦ Der Einbau erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.

Schutz vor Überhitzung

Das Gerät verfügt über einen Überhitzungsschutz.

■ Der Überhitzungsschutz schaltet das Gerät bei Gefahr einer Überhitzung au-

tomatisch aus.

■ Anschließend kann das Gerät für ca. 3 Minuten nicht mehr gestartet werden.

■ Nach ca. 3 Minuten startet das Gerät automatisch.

■ Prüfen Sie, ob äußere Bedingungen den Hitzeschutz ausgelöst haben können.

(z. B. Temperaturen über 35°C oder eine geschlossene Klappe über dem
Luftauslass).

♦ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
♦ Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel 12 auf die Kabelaufwicklung 11 und befestigen

Sie den Netzstecker mit der am Kabel befi ndlichen Sicherungsklemme 15 am
Netzkabel 12.

♦ Entleeren Sie den Wassertank 5, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht

Dieses Gerät entspricht hinsichtlich Übereinstimmung mit den
grundlegenden Anforderungen und den anderen relevanten
Vorschriften der Niederspannungsrichtlinie 2006/95/EC, der
Richtlinie zur elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit 2004/108/EC
sowie der Ökodesign-Richtlinie 2009/125/EC.

Die vollständige Original-Konformitätserklärung ist beim
Importeur erhältlich.

Garantie

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde
sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis für den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen
Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so
kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.

HINWEIS

Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht

aber für Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an
zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter oder Akkus.

Das Produkt ist lediglich für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwen­dung und bei Eingriff en, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Ihre gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch diese Garantie nicht eingeschränkt. Die
Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für
ersetzte und reparierte Teile.

Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach
dem Auspacken gemeldet werden, spätestens aber zwei Tage nach Kaufdatum.

Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpfl ichtig.
