The operating instructions are part of this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of applications speciﬁed. The appliance is exclusively intended to dehumidify living spaces, basements or storage areas with an ambient temperature of 5°C to 32°C. The appliance may only be used indoors. The appliance is intended solely for personal and not commercial use. Usage other than as described above is not permissible and may result in injury and/or damage to the appliance. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper application or usage. The risk is borne solely by the user.

Safety

This section contains important safety instructions for using the appliance. Improper use may result in personal injury and property damage.

Risk of electrocution

DANGER

Risk of fatal injury from electrocution! Contact with live cables or components can result in

a fatal injury!

Please observe the following safety guidelines to prevent electrical hazards.

► Do not use the appliance if the power cable or the plug

is damaged.

► There is a risk of electrocution if live connections are

touched and the electrical and mechanical structure is changed.

manufacturer to speed up the defrosting process.

► The appliance may only be stored in rooms without

► Do not use the appliance in swimming pools, wash

rooms or similar facilities.

► The appliance is not suitable for drying lagging. If insu-

lation or lagging materials are damp following a pipe burst, consult an expert.

► Never expose the appliance to temperatures of 0°C

or lower. Residual water in the lines could freeze and damage the system.

► Do not use the appliance in a dusty or chlorinated

environment.

Basic safety instructions

To ensure safe operation of the appliance, follow the safety guidelines set out below:

■ Check the appliance for visible external damage before

use. Do not use an appliance that has been damaged or dropped.

■ To avoid potential risks, damaged mains cables should be

replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualiﬁed person.

■ Do not operate the appliance outdoors.

■ During operation, always keep windows and doors closed

so that the appliance can work eﬀectively.

■ Do not operate the appliance in the proximity of highly

inﬂammable gases or materials, near naked ﬂames or in areas prone to oil and water splashing.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and

above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children unless under supervision.

■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist

companies or by the Customer Service department. Improper repairs can pose signiﬁcant risks to the user. It will also invalidate any warranty claims.

■ Do not expose the appliance to rain. Protect the appliance

against moisture and the ingress of ﬂuids and objects into the casing. Never immerse the appliance in water and do not place objects containing ﬂuids (e.g. vases) on the appliance. The appliance could be irreparably damaged!

■ Do not permanently install the appliance. Position the appli-

ance so that its side panels have a clearance of at least 20 cm from walls or other objects and ensure a clearance of at least 30 cm from the front, rear and top panels of the appliance in order to ensure good air circulation. Take care not to obstruct the air inlet and outlet opening.

■ The appliance may only be operated in rooms with an ambi-

ent temperature of 5°C to 32°C.

■ Use the appliance only in rooms up to 16 m².

■ The appliance must be installed, operated and stored in a

room with a ﬂoor area greater than 4 m2.

■ If the appliance is operated in unventilated areas, these

must be designed in such a way that the refrigerant cannot accumulate anywhere in the event of refrigerant leakage. Otherwise, a combustible mixture may be formed.

■ The appliance may only be stored in rooms without perma-

nent sources of ignition (e.g. open ﬂames, a switched-on gas appliance or an electric heater).

■ The appliance must be stored in a way that does not dam-

age it.

■ Clean the air ﬁlter before it becomes heavily soiled.

■ While draining via a hose, ensure that it does not become

blocked and that the open end of the hose is positioned at a lower level than the outlet aperture. The end of the hose must be positioned above a drain.

■ Operate the appliance only together with the water tank or

with the hose installed.

■ Connect the safety plug only to a properly installed, easily

accessible plug socket with protected contacts, the voltage of which corresponds to the speciﬁcations on the rating plate. The plug socket must remain easily accessible even after connection.

■ Before cleaning, always disconnect the mains plug from the

mains power socket.

■ Always transport, operate and store the appliance upright!

The water tank must be emptied before transport.

■ Never pull the device by the power cable when transporting

it on its casters.

Using the appliance

Before initial use

♦ Place the appliance on a ﬂat, dry and solid surface. ♦ Allow the appliance to remain in the usage position for approx. 30 minutes

so that the coolant can settle.

♦ Check that the water tank 4 is correctly inserted. ♦ Insert the plug w into a mains power socket.

Electrical connection

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Before connecting the appliance, compare the speciﬁcations for the

required input voltage on the rating plate with the intended voltage source for operation. This data must agree so that the appliance is not damaged.

► The power cable w must always be easily accessible, so that the appli-

ance can be quickly removed from the mains in the event of an emergency.

► Check whether the power cable w is undamaged and that it is not routed

over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges, otherwise it will become damaged.

► Ensure that the power cable w is not taut or kinked.

Guidelines for operation

■ If the air in your living spaces is constantly excessively humid, the cause should

be identiﬁed and addressed. (Sustained - year-round - dehumidifying is generally not a good idea.)

■ The optimal ambient temperature for dehumidifying the air is 5°C to 32°C.

Using a dehumidiﬁer at temperatures below 5°C is redundant, as there is little humidity in the air.

■ During operation, room temperature can increase by between 1°C and 4°C,

depending on the size of the room. This is normal.

Automatic defrosting

To ensure that the appliance does not ice up during sustained operation, it defrosts automatically. The defrosting function is activated automatically and cannot be switched on manually. The appliance cannot be switched oﬀ during defrosting. During defrosting, the lower the ambient temperature at which the appliance is operated, the earlier or more often the automatic defrosting is activated. Once the defrosting process is complete, the appliance resumes operation in the previous selected settings.

Protection against overheating

The appliance has an overheating protection. It switches oﬀ automatically if there is a risk of overheating and switches back on once the appliance has fully cooled down. The appliance cannot be used during the cool-down phase.

♦ Check whether external conditions may have triggered the overheating

protection (e.g. temperatures above 32°C or a blockage to the air outlet 8).

► Do not connect the appliance to a power socket during assembly. ♦ Lay the appliance ﬂat on its side on the ﬂoor. ♦ Press the castors 6 into the four holes on the bottom of the appliance

until they fully click into place (see ﬁg. 1).

Handling and use

This section provides you with important information on handling and using the appliance.

Switching the appliance on/oﬀ

♦ Press the STANDBY button s to switch on the appliance.

► If the appliance shuts down due to a power failure, it will automatically

restart with the last–selected setting when power is restored.

♦ If a timer has been programmed, the appliance switches oﬀ permanently

after the speciﬁed time has elapsed (1–24 hours).

♦ If the relative humidity value has been set in the

program, the appliance switches oﬀ as soon as the value is reached. If the value is exceeded, the appliance switches back on again.

♦ When the water tank 4 is full or removed, dehumidiﬁcation stops. The

fan continues to run for approx. 3 minutes and then switches oﬀ. If the water tank 4 has been removed or is not correctly inserted, the WATER TANK FULL o lights up. If switched on, the appliance will also beep for approx. 20 seconds.

During operation, the current relative humidity value is permanently displayed in %.

NOTE

► Note that the values for the relative humidity have a tolerance of approx.

± 3 %, and switching on the appliance or dehumidiﬁcation may be slightly delayed.

Selecting programmes

The appliance has two distinct programmes:

DEHUMIDIFICATION

This programme oﬀers you the option of setting the desired air humidity level that should be achieved yourself.

♦ Press the UP button a or the DOWN button z to set the desired

humidity in 5% steps between 30% and 80%. The set value ﬂashes on the display p for approx. 5 seconds and then the current relative humidity value is shown again.

Additionally, you also have the option to select the setting if you want to make a setting below 30% relative humidity. This setting allows you to achieve a very low humidity as the dehumidiﬁcation runs permanently.

NOTE

► The minimum humidity that can be achieved in

many factors, such as the room size or the ambient temperature, etc. Therefore, it is not possible to deﬁne a generally applicable minimum value.

DRY LAUNDRY

You can use this programme to dry damp laundry or textiles faster. Turn the appliance so that the air ﬂow from the air outlet 8 is directed towards the garments you want to dry. Changes in the desired humidity are not possible in this programme.

Timer function

The appliance is equipped with a timer function that can be activated for both programmes. One of 24 switch-oﬀ times, ranging from 1 to 24 hours, can be selected. Once the set time has elapsed, the appliance switches oﬀ permanently.

♦ While the appliance is running, press the UP button a and the DOWN

button z at the same time. The on the display p.

Emptying the water tank

The water tank 4 has a capacity of approx. 2.1 litres. The water level can be checked by means of the ﬁll level indicator 5. The appliance can only be operated with the water tank 4 inserted. When the water tank4 is full, the WATER TANK FULL LED o lights up. In addition, the appliance will also beep for approx. 20 seconds. The dehumidiﬁcation stops; the fan continues to run for approx. 3 minutes and then switches itself oﬀ.

♦ Carefully pull the water tank 4 out of the appliance using the recessed

grips on the side (see ﬁgure 2).

♦ Empty the water tank 4 into a sink (see ﬁgure 3) and replace the water

tank 4 in the appliance. The appliance resumes operation with the previously selected programme.

Hose drainage

In very humid rooms, it often makes more sense to drain oﬀ the water directly via a hose rather than collect it in the water tank 4 the EU garden hose adapter f

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► When draining via the hose, the appliance runs continuously. When draining

via the hose, make sure that it is not kinked and that it runs downwards along the entire length. Otherwise, the water may ﬂow back into the appliance and damage it.

► Check the entire connection system regularly for leaks. ♦ Remove the stoppers 9 from the water outlet opening 0. ♦ Connect either the supplied hose d or the EU garden hose adapter f to

the water outlet opening 0 (see ﬁgures 4 and 5).

♦ When using the EU garden hose adapter f, screw a garden hose onto

the EU garden hose adapter f (see ﬁgure 5).

to set up a permanent drainage outlet.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Screw the EU garden hose adapter f hand-tight only.

Do not use a wrench as this may damage the EU garden hose adapter f.

NOTE

► Depending on the garden hose system you use, you may need an addition-

al adapter. These are available from specialist stores.

♦ Set up the appliance so that the end of the hose is positioned over a drain.

The open end of the hose must lie below the water outlet opening 0 of the appliance (i.e. the hose must have a downwards gradient).

Cleaning

Cleaning the appliance

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Possible damage to the appliance.

► Do not allow any liquids or moisture to get into the appliance.

► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, never immerse it in water.

► Always remove the mains plug w from the mains power socket before

cleaning the appliance.

► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these may corrode

the surface of the casing.

► Do not clean the water tank 4 in the dishwasher. Otherwise, it will be

damaged.

♦ If required, wipe the casing with a slightly damp cloth. ♦ Remove the water tank 4 and pour the water into a sink. Dry the water

tank 4 well inside and outside before replacing it in the appliance.

♦ We recommend cleaning the water tank 4 regularly (every two weeks) to

prevent mould and bacteria. Fill the water tank 4 with lukewarm water and add a commercially available detergent. Rinse repeatedly with lukewarm water. We also recommend disinfection following cleaning. To do this, use a standard commercial, alcohol-based disinfecting agent or high-proof alcohol. Both substances are completely harmless if rinsed repeatedly with lukewarm water afterwards.

♦ Remove any accumulations of dust on the air inlet grille 2 and the air outlet

grille 8 with a paintbrush, soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.

Cleaning the ﬁlter

The performance of the appliance also depends upon how clean the ﬁlter is. The air ﬁlter 3 should be cleaned every 2 weeks.

♦ The air ﬁlter 3 is located behind the air inlet grille 2. Take hold of the

grip edge of air ﬁlter 3 with your ﬁngers and pull it upwards out of the appliance (see ﬁgure 6).

♦ Vacuum the air ﬁlter3 or clean it with a soft brush. If the air ﬁlter 3 is very

dirty, wash it in lukewarm water.

♦ Allow the air ﬁlter 3 to dry out completely before replacing it in the

appliance.

♦ Remove the plug w from the mains power socket. ♦ Wind the power cable w around the cable retainer q on the rear of the

appliance.

♦ Empty the water tank 4 if you are not going to use the appliance for a

long time.

♦ Always store the appliance in an upright position and in a dry and dust-free

environment without direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor malfunctions. If the solutions below do not resolve the problem, please contact Customer Service (see section Service).

Disposal of the appliance

The symbol showing a crossed-out dustbin means that this appliance is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states that this appliance may not be disposed of in the normal household waste at the end of its useful life, but must be handed over to specially set-up collection locations, recycling depots or disposal companies. This disposal is free of charge for the user. Protect the environment and dispose of this appliance properly.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to dispose of the product.

Disposal of the refrigerant

This appliance contains R290 (propane) as a refrigerant. The system is hermetically sealed.

The undamaged refrigerant must be disposed of professionally. Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Dear Customer, This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you or refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This warranty service requires that you present the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within the three-year warranty period, along with a brief written description of the fault and of when it occurred.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eﬀected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or to fragile parts which could be considered as consumable parts such as switches, batteries or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modiﬁcations / repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Ασφάλεια

Σε αυτό το κεφάλαιο λαμβάνετε σημαντικές υποδείξεις ασφαλείας για τον χειρισμό της συσκευής. Η εσφαλμένη χρήση μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε σωματικές βλάβες και υλικές ζημιές.

Κίνδυνος λόγω ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος

Κίνδυνος θανάτου από ηλεκτροπληξία! Κατά την επαφή με ρευματοφόρα καλώδια ή κατασκευα-

στικά τμήματα, υπάρχει κίνδυνος θανάτου!

Τηρείτε τις ακόλουθες υποδείξεις ασφαλείας, ώστε να αποφεύγετε κινδύνους λόγω ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος:

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε περίπτωση που το

καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας ή το βύσμα παρουσιάζει βλάβη.

► Εάν υπάρξει επαφή με ρευματοφόρες συνδέσεις ή γί-

νουν τροποποιήσεις στην ηλεκτρική και μηχανική δομή, υπάρχει κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας.

τροφοδοσίας και το βύσμα σε νερό ή άλλα υγρά.

► Προστατεύετε τη συσκευή από νερό που στάζει και πιτσιλάει. ► Εάν εισχωρήσει υγρό στη συσκευή (εκτός από το δοχείο νε-

ρού), αποσυνδέστε αμέσως το βύσμα από την πρίζα. Πριν από την εκ νέου θέση σε λειτουργία, ελέγξτε τη συσκευή.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή με βρεγμένα χέρια. ► Σε περίπτωση που η συσκευή πέσει στο νερό, αποσυνδέ-

στε αμέσως το βύσμα από την πρίζα. Στη συνέχεια, βγάλτε τη συσκευή από το νερό.

Κίνδυνος έκρηξης/πυρκαγιάς

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε περιβάλλον όπου

υπάρχει κίνδυνος έκρηξης, εύφλεκτα υγρά, αέρια ή σκόνες. Οι ηλεκτρικές συσκευές παράγουν σπινθήρες οι οποίοι μπορούν να προκαλέσουν ανάφλεξη στη σκόνη ή στους ατμούς.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε αντικείμενα για την επιτάχυνση της

διαδικασίας απόψυξης, εκτός αυτών που επιτρέπει ο κατασκευαστής.

► Η συσκευή επιτρέπεται να φυλάσσεται μόνο σε χώ-

ρους χωρίς μόνιμες πηγές ανάφλεξης (π.χ. ακάλυπτες φλόγες, ενεργοποιημένη συσκευή αερίου ή ηλεκτρικός θερμαντήρας).

► Μην τρυπάτε και μην καίτε τη συσκευή. ► Να θυμάστε ότι το ψυκτικό υγρό είναι άοσμο.

Κίνδυνος υλικών ζημιών

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε πισίνες, αποχωρητή-

ρια ή παρόμοιους χώρους.

► Η συσκευή δεν ενδείκνυται για την ξήρανση ηχομονωτι-

κών υλικών. Σε περίπτωση που η μόνωση ή το ηχομονωτικό υλικό έχει υγρανθεί μετά από θραύση ενός σωλήνα, επικοινωνήστε οπωσδήποτε με έναν ειδικό.

► Μην εκθέτετε ποτέ τη συσκευή σε θερμοκρασίες 0°C ή χα-

μηλότερες. Το υπολειπόμενο νερό στις σωληνώσεις μπορεί να παγώσει και να προκαλέσει βλάβη στο σύστημα.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε περιβάλλον με σκόνη

ή χλώριο.

Βασικές υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

Τηρείτε τις κάτωθι υποδείξεις ασφαλείας για τον ασφαλή χειρισμό της συσκευής:

■ Πριν από τη χρήση, ελέγχετε τη συσκευή για εμφανείς εξωτε-

Θέση σε λειτουργία

Πριν από την πρώτη χρήση

♦ Τοποθετήστε τη συσκευή επάνω σε μια επίπεδη, στεγνή και σταθερή επιφάνεια. ♦ Αφήστε τη συσκευή ακίνητη για περ. 30 λεπτά στη θέση χρήσης, ώστε το

ψυκτικό υγρό να κατακάτσει.

♦ Ελέγξτε εάν το δοχείο νερού 4 έχει τοποθετηθεί σωστά. ♦ Συνδέστε το βύσμα w σε μια πρίζα.

Ηλεκτρική σύνδεση

► Πριν τη σύνδεση της συσκευής, συγκρίνετε τα στοιχεία σχετικά με την απαι-

τούμενη τάση εισόδου στην πινακίδα τεχνικών χαρακτηριστικών με αυτά της πηγής τάσης που προβλέπεται για τη λειτουργία. Αυτά τα στοιχεία πρέπει να συμφωνούν, για να μην προκληθούν βλάβες στη συσκευή.

► Το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας w πρέπει να είναι πάντα εύκολα προσβάσιμο,

έτσι ώστε σε περίπτωση ανάγκης η συσκευή να μπορεί να αποσυνδεθεί γρήγορα από το ρεύμα.

► Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας w δεν έχει υποστεί ζημιά και ότι

δεν είναι τοποθετημένο πάνω από καυτές επιφάνειες και/ή αιχμηρές ακμές, καθώς σε αντίθετη περίπτωση θα καταστραφεί.

► Προσέχετε ώστε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας w να μην τεντώνεται υπερβολι-

κά ή κάμπτεται.

Υποδείξεις λειτουργίας

■ Εάν στους χώρους κατοικίας σας έχετε μόνιμα πολύ υψηλή σχετική υγρασία

αέρα, θα πρέπει να εντοπίσετε και να αποκαταστήσετε την αιτία. (Η μόνιμη και πολυετής αφύγρανση δεν έχει νόημα κατά κανόνα.)

■ Η ιδανική θερμοκρασία περιβάλλοντος για την αφύγρανση του αέρα κυμαίνεται

μεταξύ 5°C έως 32°C. Κάτω από 5°C, η χρήση αφυγραντήρα δεν έχει κανένα νόημα, καθώς υπάρχει ελάχιστη υγρασία στον αέρα.

■ Κατά τη λειτουργία, η θερμοκρασία δωματίου μπορεί να ανέβει μεταξύ 1°C -

4°C, ανάλογα με το εμβαδόν του δωματίου. Αυτό είναι φυσιολογικό.

Αυτόματη αποπάγωση

Για να μην παγώνει η συσκευή στη συνεχή λειτουργία, κάνει αυτόματη αποπάγωση. Η αποπάγωση ενεργοποιείται αυτόματα και δεν μπορεί να απενεργοποιηθεί χειροκίνητα. Η συσκευή δεν απενεργοποιείται κατά την αποπάγωση. Κατά τη διάρκεια της αποπάγωσης, ανάβει η λυχνία LED χαμηλότερη είναι η θερμοκρασία περιβάλλοντος στην οποία λειτουργεί η συσκευή, τόσο νωρίτερα ή συχνότερα ενεργοποιείται η αυτόματη αποπάγωση. Μόλις η διαδικασία αποπάγωσης ολοκληρωθεί, η συσκευή συνεχίζει τη λειτουργία στη ρύθμιση που είχε προηγουμένως επιλεγεί.

Προστασία από υπερθέρμανση

Η συσκευή διαθέτει προστασία υπερθέρμανσης. Σε περίπτωση κινδύνου από υπερθέρμανση, η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα και ενεργοποιείται ξανά αφότου κρυώσει. Κατά τη φάση μείωσης της θερμοκρασίας, δεν είναι δυνατός ο χειρισμός της συσκευής.

♦ Ελέγξτε εάν εξωτερικοί παράγοντες θα μπορούσαν να ενεργοποιήσουν την

προστασία υπερθέρμανσης (π.χ. θερμοκρασίες πάνω από 32°C ή έμφραξη στο στόμιο εξόδου αέρα 8).

Ακούγεται ένα ηχητικό σήμα και το LED ΑΦΥΓΡΑΝΣΗ r ή το LED ΣΤΕΓΝΩΜΑ ΜΠΟΥΓΑΔΑΣ t ανάβει συνεχώς.

♦ Πατήστε το πλήκτρο

► Για τις τιμές της σχετικής υγρασίας αέρα, θα πρέπει να συνυπολογίζεται

μια ανοχή περ. ±3% και μια μικρή καθυστέρηση στην απενεργοποίηση ή

στην ενεργοποίηση της συσκευής ή της αφύγρανσης.

Επιλογή προγράμματος

Η συσκευή διαθέτει δύο διαφορετικά προγράμματα:

Η αυτόματη αποπάγωση είναι ενεργοποιημένη.

Αυτό το πρόγραμμα σάς δίνει τη δυνατότητα να ρυθμίσετε οι ίδιοι την επιθυμητή υγρασία αέρα που θα πρέπει να επιτευχθεί.

♦ Πατήστε το πλήκτρο ΕΠΑΝΩ a ή το πλήκτρο ΚΑΤΩ z, για να

ρυθμίσετε την επιθυμητή υγρασία αέρα σε βήματα του 5% μεταξύ 30% και 80%. Η ρυθμισμένη τιμή αναβοσβήνει για περ. 5 δευτερόλεπτα στην οθόνη p και, στη συνέχεια, εμφανίζεται ξανά η τιμή της τρέχουσας σχετικής υγρασίας αέρα.

Επιπλέον, έχετε τη δυνατότητα επιλογής της ρύθμισης , εάν επιθυμείτε ρύθμιση κάτω από 30% σχετική υγρασία αέρα. Αυτή η ρύθμιση επιτρέπει μια εξαιρετικά χαμηλή υγρασία αέρα, καθώς λαμβάνει χώρα μια συνεχής αφύγρανση. Για την επίτευξη της μέγιστης απόδοσης αφύγρανσης, πρέπει να επιλεγεί υψηλή βαθμίδα ανεμιστήρα.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Η ελάχιστη υγρασία αέρα που μπορεί να επιτευχθεί στον τρόπο λειτουρ-

εξαρτάται από πολλούς παράγοντες όπως π.χ. το εμβαδόν του

Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε το πρόγραμμα αυτό για να στεγνώσετε για παράδειγμα τα νωπά ρούχα ή υφάσματα γρηγορότερα. Γυρίστε τη συσκευή κατά τρόπο ώστε η ροή αέρα να κατευθύνεται από το στόμιο εξόδου αέρα 8 στα ρούχα που πρέπει να στεγνώσουν. Σε αυτό το πρόγραμμα δεν είναι δυνατή η αλλαγή της επιθυμητής υγρασίας αέρα.

Λειτουργία χρονοδιακόπτη

Η συσκευή διαθέτει λειτουργία χρονοδιακόπτη η οποία μπορεί να ενεργοποιηθεί και στα δύο προγράμματα. Μπορούν να επιλεγούν 24 χρόνοι απενεργοποίησης από 1 έως 24 ώρες. Μετά τη λήξη του ρυθμισμένου χρόνου, η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται μόνιμα.

♦ Κατά τη διάρκεια της λειτουργίας, πιέστε ταυτόχρονα το πλήκτρο

ΕΠΑΝΩ a και το πλήκτρο ΚΑΤΩ z. Η λυχνία LED ΧΡΟΝΟΔΙΑΚΟΠΤΗΣ i ανάβει και στην οθόνη p αναβοσβήνει η ένδειξη

Εκκένωση δοχείου νερού

Το δοχείο νερού 4 έχει χωρητικότητα περ. 2,1 λίτρα. Η στάθμη του νερού ελέγχεται από την ένδειξη στάθμης πλήρωσης 5. Η συσκευή μπορεί να λειτουργήσει μόνο με τοποθετημένο δοχείο νερού 4. Εάν το δοχείο νερού 4 είναι γεμάτο, ανάβει η LED κό σήμα για περ. 20 δευτερόλεπτα. Η αφύγρανση σταματάει, ο ανεμιστήρας συνεχίζει να λειτουργεί για ακόμη περ. 3 λεπτά και, στη συνέχεια, απενεργοποιείται.

♦ Τραβήξτε προσεκτικά το δοχείο νερού 4 από τις πλαϊνές υποδοχές λαβής

έξω από τη συσκευή (βλ. εικόνα 2).

Αποστράγγιση εύκαμπτου σωλήνα

Σε χώρους με έντονη υγρασία είναι προτιμότερο το νερό να μην συλλέγεται στο δοχείο νερού 4, αλλά να απομακρύνεται απευθείας μέσω του εύκαμπτου σωλήνα

. Με τον παρεχόμενο εύκαμπτο σωλήνα d ή τον αντάπτορα λάστιχου κήπου f μπορείτε να δημιουργήσετε μια μόνιμη αποστράγγιση.

► Κατά την αποστράγγιση του εύκαμπτου σωλήνα, η συσκευή λειτουργεί στη συνε-

χή λειτουργία. Κατά την αποστράγγιση, προσέχετε ώστε ο εύκαμπτος σωλήνας να μην τσακίζει και να διέρχεται κατηφορικά καθ' όλο το μήκος. Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση, το νερό μπορεί να τρέξει πίσω στη συσκευή και να την καταστρέψει.

► Ελέγχετε τακτικά τη στεγανότητα ολόκληρου του συστήματος σύνδεσης. ♦ Αφαιρέστε το πώμα σφραγίσματος 9 από το στόμιο εξόδου νερού 0. ♦ Τοποθετήστε είτε το παρεχόμενο λάστιχο d είτε τον αντάπτορα λάστιχου

κήπου ΕΕ f στο στόμιο εξόδου νερού 0 (βλέπε εικόνες 4 και 5).

♦ Σε περίπτωση χρήσης του αντάπτορα λάστιχου κήπου ΕΕ f, βιδώστε ένα

λάστιχο κήπου στον αντάπτορα λάστιχου κήπου ΕΕ f (βλ. εικόνα 5).

απαιτείται και άλλος αντάπτορας. Τέτοιους αντάπτορες μπορείτε να βρείτε σε εξειδικευμένα καταστήματα.

♦ Τοποθετήστε τη συσκευή κατά τέτοιο τρόπο, ώστε το άκρο του εύκαμπτου

σωλήνα να καταλήγει πάνω από ένα σημείο εκροής. Παράλληλα, το ανοιχτό άκρο του λάστιχου πρέπει να βρίσκεται κάτω από το στόμιο εξόδου νερού 0 της συσκευής (δηλαδή το λάστιχο πρέπει να έχει κλίση).

Καθαρισμός συσκευής

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ! ΥΛΙΚΕΣ ΖΗΜΙΕΣ!

Πιθανή φθορά της συσκευής!

► Προστατεύετε τη συσκευή από την υγρασία και την εισχώρηση υγρών.

► Μη βυθίζετε ποτέ τη συσκευή στο νερό, ώστε να αποφύγετε ανεπανόρθωτη

ζημιά της.

► Αποσυνδέετε οπωσδήποτε το βύσμα w από την πρίζα, προτού καθαρίσε-

τε τη συσκευή.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε ισχυρά ή λειαντικά καθαριστικά μέσα, διότι αυτά μπο-

ρεί να προσβάλουν την επιφάνεια του περιβλήματος.

► Μην καθαρίζετε το δοχείο νερού 4 στο πλυντήριο πιάτων. Σε αντίθετη

περίπτωση, το δοχείο θα υποστεί βλάβη.

♦ Εάν απαιτείται, σκουπίστε το περίβλημα με ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί. ♦ Αφαιρέστε το δοχείο νερού 4 και αδειάστε το νερό σε έναν νεροχύτη.

Στεγνώστε το δοχείο νερού 4 καλά μέσα και έξω πριν από την τοποθέτηση.

♦ Συνιστάται να καθαρίζετε το δοχείο νερού 4 τακτικά κάθε δύο εβδομάδες,

ώστε να αποφεύγεται ο σχηματισμός μούχλας και η εμφάνιση βακτηριδίων. Για τον σκοπό αυτόν, γεμίζετε το δοχείο νερού 4 με χλιαρό νερό και προσθέτετε ένα κοινό απορρυπαντικό. Ξεπλένετε αρκετές φορές με χλιαρό νερό. Επιπλέον, μετά τον καθαρισμό, συνιστάται μια απολύμανση. Για τον σκοπό αυτόν, χρησιμοποιείτε ένα κοινό απολυμαντικό με βάση το αλκοόλ ή με υψηλή συγκέντρωση σε αλκοόλ. Και οι δύο ουσίες είναι εντελώς ακίνδυνες, εάν στη συνέχεια ξεπλύνετε αρκετές φορές με χλιαρό νερό.

♦ Απομακρύνετε εναποθέσεις σκόνης στο πλέγμα εισόδου αέρα 2 και στο

πλέγμα του στομίου εξόδου αέρα 8 με ένα πινέλο, μια μαλακιά βούρτσα ή μια ηλεκτρική αναρροφητική σκούπα.

Καθαρισμός φίλτρου

Η απόδοση της συσκευής εξαρτάται και από την καθαρότητα του φίλτρου. Το φίλτρο αέρα 3 πρέπει να καθαρίζεται κάθε 2 εβδομάδες.

♦ Απενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή και αποσυνδέστε το βύσμα w από την πρίζα. ♦ Το φίλτρο αέρα 3 βρίσκεται πίσω από το πλέγμα εισόδου αέρα 2. Πιάστε

με τα δάχτυλα την ακμή λαβής του φίλτρου αέρα 3 και τραβήξτε το προς τα επάνω και έξω από τη συσκευή (βλέπε εικόνα 6).

♦ Σκουπίστε με ηλεκτρική σκούπα το φίλτρο αέρα 3 ή καθαρίστε το με μια

μαλακή βούρτσα. Εάν είναι πολύ λερωμένο, πλύνετε το φίλτρο αέρα 3 με χλιαρό νερό.

♦ Αφήστε το φίλτρο αέρα 3 να στεγνώσει εντελώς, πριν το τοποθετήσετε

ξανά στη συσκευή.

♦ Αποσυνδέστε το βύσμα w από την πρίζα. ♦ Τυλίξτε το καλώδιο δικτύου w γύρω από τη διάταξη τύλιξης καλωδίου q

Απόρριψη

Απόρριψη συσκευής

Το σύμβολο ενός διαγραμμένου κάδου απορριμμάτων με ρόδες υποδηλώνει ότι η συσκευή αυτή υπόκειται στην οδηγία 2012/19/ΕU. Σύμφωνα με αυτή την Οδηγία, δεν επιτρέπεται να απορρίψετε αυτή τη συσκευή μετά τη χρήση της στα κανονικά οικιακά απορρίμματα, αλλά σε ειδικά διαμορφωμένα σημεία συλλογής, κέντρα ανακυκλώσιμων υλικών ή επιχειρήσεις απόρριψης. Αυτή η απόρριψη είναι δωρεάν. Φροντίζετε το περιβάλλον και απορρίπτετε τα διάφορα υλικά σωστά.

Για τις δυνατότητες απόρριψης του προϊόντος μετά το τέλος του κύκλου ζωής του, απευθυνθείτε στην αρμόδια υπηρεσία της κοινότητας ή της πόλης σας.

Απόρριψη ψυκτικού υγρού

Αυτή η συσκευή περιέχει ψυκτικό υγρό R290 (προπάνιο). Το σύστημα είναι ερμητικά κλειστό.

Το ψυκτικό υγρό πρέπει να απορριφθεί σωστά και ανέπαφα. Σε περίπτωση αμφιβολιών, επικοινωνήστε με την αρμόδια εγκατάσταση διάθεσης απορριμμάτων.

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Τα υλικά συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους κανόνες προστασίας του περιβάλλοντος και τις τεχνικές απόρριψης και, ως εκ τούτου, είναι ανακυκλώσιμα. Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας που δεν χρησιμοποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τους κατά τόπους ισχύοντες κανονισμούς.

Απορρίψτε τη συσκευασία με τρόπο φιλικό προς το περιβάλλον. Λάβετε υπόψη τη σήμανση στα διάφορα υλικά συσκευασίας και, εφόσον απαιτείται, ξεχωρίστε τα. Προϋποθέσεις εγγύησης

Η περίοδος εγγύησης ξεκινά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Φυλάσσετε την απόδειξη αγοράς. Απαιτείται ως αποδεικτικό αγοράς. Εάν, εντός τριών ετών από την ημερομηνία αγοράς, παρατηρηθεί κάποιο σφάλμα υλικού ή κατασκευής στο προϊόν, θα επισκευάσουμε ή θα αντικαταστήσουμε (κατόπιν κρίσης μας) το προϊόν δωρεάν ή θα σας επιστραφεί το ποσό αγοράς. Η παρούσα εγγύηση προϋποθέτει ότι η ελαττωματική συσκευή και η απόδειξη αγοράς θα υποβληθούν μαζί με μια σύντομη περιγραφή αναφορικά με το πού βρίσκεται η έλλειψη και πότε παρατηρήθηκε, εντός της περιόδου των τριών ετών.

Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις κατά την αγορά πρέπει να γνωστοποιούνται αμέσως μετά την αποσυσκευασία. Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης, τυχόν εμφανιζόμενες επισκευές χρεώνονται.

Εύρος εγγύησης

Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με αυστηρές οδηγίες ποιότητας και ελέγχθηκε προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή. Η εγγύηση ισχύει για σφάλματα υλικού ή κατασκευής. Η παρούσα εγγύηση δεν καλύπτει εξαρτήματα του προϊόντος που υπόκεινται σε φυσιολογική φθορά και, ως εκ τούτου, θεωρούνται αναλώσιμα εξαρτήματα ή ζημιές σε εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες, συσσωρευτές ή γυάλινα εξαρτήματα. Η παρούσα εγγύηση ακυρώνεται εάν προκληθεί ζημιά στο προϊόν, εάν δεν γίνεται σωστή χρήση ή συντήρηση. Για μια σωστή χρήση του προϊόντος πρέπει να τηρούνται επακριβώς οι αναφερόμενες υποδείξεις στις οδηγίες χειρισμού. Σκοποί χρήσης και χειρισμοί που δεν συνιστώνται ή για τους οποίους υπάρχει προειδοποίηση πρέπει απαραίτητα να αποφεύγονται. Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για ιδιωτική και όχι για επαγγελματική χρήση. Inbetriebnahme

Vor dem Erstgebrauch

♦ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen ebenen, trockenen und festen Untergrund. ♦ Lassen Sie das Gerät in der Einsatzposition ca. 30 Minuten ruhig stehen,

damit sich die Kühlﬂüssigkeit setzen kann.

♦ Prüfen Sie, ob der Wassertank 4 korrekt eingesetzt ist. ♦ Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker w mit einer Netzsteckdose.

Elektrischer Anschluss

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!

► Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Angaben zur

benötigten Eingangsspannung auf dem Typenschild mit der für den Betrieb vorgesehenen Spannungsquelle. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

► Das Netzkabel w muss immer leicht zugänglich sein, so dass im Notfall

das Gerät schnell vom Stromnetz getrennt werden kann.

► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Netzkabel w unbeschädigt ist und nicht

über heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird, sonst wird es beschädigt.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel w nicht straﬀ gespannt oder

geknickt wird.

Hinweise zum Betrieb

■ Sollten Sie in Wohnräumen dauerhaft eine zu hohe relative Luftfeuchtigkeit haben,

sollte die Ursache gefunden und beseitigt werden. (Dauerhaftes - jahrelanges Entfeuchten ist in der Regel nicht sinnvoll.)

■ Die optimale Umgebungstemperatur, um der Luft Feuchtigkeit zu entziehen, be-

trägt 5 bis 32 °C. Unter 5 °C hat der Einsatz eines Luftentfeuchters keinen Sinn, da nur wenig Feuchtigkeit in der Luft ist.

■ Während des Betriebs kann die Raumtemperatur je nach Raumgröße zwischen

1- 4 °C steigen. Dies ist normal.

Automatische Enteisung

Damit das Gerät im Dauerbetrieb nicht vereist, enteist es sich automatisch. Die Enteisung wird automatisch aktiviert und kann nicht manuell abgeschaltet werden. Das Gerät lässt sich während der Enteisung nicht abschalten. Während

der Enteisung leuchtet die LED AUTO ENTEISUNG u. Je niedriger die Umgebungstemperatur ist, bei der das Gerät betrieben wird, desto früher bzw. öfter wird die automatische Enteisung aktiviert. Ist der Enteisungsvorgang abgeschlossen, fährt das Gerät mit dem Betrieb in der zuvor gewählten Einstellung fort.

Schutz vor Überhitzung

Das Gerät verfügt über einen Überhitzungsschutz. Es schaltet sich bei Gefahr einer Überhitzung automatisch aus und nach Abkühlung selbstständig wieder ein. Das Gerät kann während der Abkühlphase nicht bedient werden.

♦ Prüfen Sie, ob äußere Bedingungen den Überhitzungsschutz ausgelöst

haben können (z. B. Temperaturen über 32 °C oder eine Blockade der Luftaustrittsöﬀnung 8).

Dieses Programm bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, die gewünschte Luftfeuchtigkeit, die erreicht werden soll, selbst einzustellen.

♦ Drücken Sie die Taste HOCH a oder Taste RUNTER z, um die

gewünschte Luftfeuchtigkeit in 5 %-Schritten zwischen 30 % und 80 % einzustellen. Der eingestellte Wert blinkt für ca. 5 Sekunden im Display p und anschließend wird wieder der gegenwärtige relative Luftfeuchtigkeitswert angezeigt.

Zusätzlich haben Sie die Möglichkeit die Einstellung zu wählen, wenn Sie eine Einstellung unterhalb von 30 % relative Luftfeuchtigkeit vornehmen möchten. Diese Einstellung ermöglicht Ihnen das Erreichen einer sehr geringen Luftfeuchtigkeit, da eine dauerhafte Entfeuchtung stattﬁndet.

► Die minimale Luftfeuchtigkeit, die in der Betriebsart

kann, ist von vielen Faktoren, wie z. B. der Raumgröße oder der Umge-

bungstemperatur etc. abhängig. Daher ist es nicht möglich einen allgemein

Das Gerät ist mit einer Timer-Funktion ausgestattet, die bei beiden Programmen aktiviert werden kann. Es können 24 Ausschaltzeiten von 1 bis 24 Stunden gewählt werden. Nach Ablauf der eingestellten Zeit wird das Gerät dauerhaft ausgeschaltet.

♦ Drücken Sie während des Betriebs gleichzeitig die Taste

Wassertank leeren

Der Wassertank 4 hat ein Fassungsvermögen von ca. 2,1 Litern. Der Wasserstand kann an der Füllstandsanzeige 5 überprüft werden. Das Gerät kann nur mit eingesetztem Wassertank 4 betrieben werden. Wenn der Wassertank4 voll ist, leuchtet die LED Sekunden ein akustisches Signal. Die Entfeuchtung stoppt, der Lüfter läuft für ca. 3 Minuten weiter und schaltet sich anschließend ab.

♦ Ziehen Sie den Wassertank 4 vorsichtig an den seitlichen Griﬀmulden aus

dem Gerät heraus (siehe Abbildung 2).

Schlauchentwässerung

Bei sehr feuchten Räumen ist es oft sinnvoller, dass das Wasser nicht im Wassertank 4 gesammelt wird, sondern direkt über einen Schlauch abgeführt wird. Mit dem mitgelieferten Schlauch d oder dem EU-Gartenschlauchadapter f ist es möglich eine Dauerdrainage herzustellen.

► Bei der Schlauchentwässerung läuft das Gerät im Dauerbetrieb durch.

Gerät reinigen

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!

Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes!

► Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten.

► Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals unter Wasser, um eine irreparable Beschädi-

gung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

► Ziehen Sie unbedingt den Netzstecker w aus der Netzsteckdose, bevor

Sie das Gerät reinigen.

► Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, da

diese die Gehäuseoberﬂäche angreifen können.

► Reinigen Sie den Wassertank 4 nicht in der Spülmaschine. Dieser wird

dadurch sonst beschädigt.

♦ Wischen Sie das Gehäuse bei Bedarf mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch

ab.

♦ Entnehmen Sie den Wassertank 4 und gießen Sie das Wasser in ein

Spülbecken aus. Trocknen Sie den Wassertank 4 vor dem Einsetzen innen und außen gut ab.

♦ Es empﬁehlt sich, den Wassertank 4 regelmäßig alle zwei Wochen zu

reinigen, um Schimmelpilz und Bakterien zu vermeiden. Füllen Sie dazu den Wassertank 4 mit lauwarmem Wasser und geben Sie ein handelsübliches Spülmittel hinzu. Spülen Sie mehrmals mit lauwarmem Wasser nach. Zusätzlich empﬁehlt es sich, nach der Reinigung eine Desinfektion durchzuführen. Benutzen Sie dazu handelsübliches Desinfektionsmittel auf Alkoholbasis oder hochprozentigen Alkohol. Beide Substanzen sind völlig unbedenklich, wenn anschließend mehrmals mit lauwarmen Wasser nachgespült wird.

♦ Entfernen Sie Staubablagerungen am Lufteinlassgitter 2 und am Gitter der

Luftaustrittsöﬀnung 8 mit einem Pinsel, einer weichen Bürste oder einem Staubsauger.

Filter reinigen

Die Leistungsfähigkeit des Gerätes hängt auch von der Sauberkeit des Filters ab. Der Luftﬁlter 3 sollte alle 2 Wochen gereinigt werden.

♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker w aus der

Netzsteckdose.

♦ Der Luftﬁlter 3 beﬁndet sich hinter dem Luftteinlassgitter 2. Fassen Sie mit

den Fingern die Griﬀkante des Luftﬁlters 3 und ziehen Sie ihn nach oben aus dem Gerät (siehe Abblildung 6).

Entsorgung

Gerät entsorgen

Das nebenstehende Symbol einer durchgestrichenen Mülltonne auf Rädern zeigt an, dass dieses Gerät der Richtlinie 2012/19/EU unterliegt. Diese Richtlinie besagt, dass Sie dieses Gerät am Ende seiner Nutzungszeit nicht mit dem normalen Haushaltsmüll entsorgen dürfen, sondern in speziell eingerichteten Sammelstellen, Wertstoﬀhöfen oder Entsorgungsbetrieben abgeben müssen. Diese Entsorgung ist für Sie kostenfrei. Schonen Sie die Umwelt und entsorgen Sie fachgerecht.

Für den deutschen Markt gilt:

Beim Kauf eines Neugerätes haben Sie das Recht, das entsprechende Altgerät an Ihren Händler zurückzugeben. Verpackung entsorgen

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus oder Teile, die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde.
