Heat Pad

Introduction

Please familiarise yourself with the hea­ting pad before getting started and using

it for the first time. To do so, please care­fully read the following operating instructions and
the important safety information. Use the heating
pad only as described and for the stated areas of
use. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you
pass the heating pad on to anyone else, please en­sure that you also pass on all the documentation.

Intended use

This heating pad is intended for applying heat to the
human body. It can be used to apply heat to specific
areas. This heating pad is not suitable for use in
hospitals or for any other commercial use. In par­ticular it must not be used for babies or infants, per­sons who are insensitive to heat, helpless persons, or
animals. Any use other than that described above or
modification of the heating pad are not permissible
and may lead to injury and / or damage to the
heating pad. The manufacturer accepts no liability
for any damage caused by improper use.

to overheating (e.g. diabetics,
persons with skin changes caused
by illness or scarred skin areas
in the application area after using
analgesics or alcohol). There is
a risk of receiving skin burns.

(0–3 years), as they are unable

unless the control unit was set by

sensory or mental capacities or
lacking experience and know­ledge when supervised and in­structed on the safe use of the
heating pad and understand the

This heating pad is not intended

or damage to the heating pad.

Always observe the information

on start-up, cleaning and care,
and storage.

Safety system

Note: The heating pad is equipped with a safety

system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the
entire surface of the heating pad from overheating
by automatically switching off in the event of a fault.
If the safety system switches the heating pad off au­tomatically due to a fault, then the function display
on the control unit

Please note that, for safety reasons, the heating

pad must not be used after a fault and must be
returned to the service address indicated.

Start-up

Note: The heating pad may smell of plastic the first

time you use it, but this will disappear after a short
period of time.

To begin, first connect the control 1 to the

heating pad with the plug-in connector
(see fig. B).

Set the control unit 1 to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, to

switch on the heating pad.
Note: The function display

Just before using the heating pad, set it to the

highest temperature setting (setting 6). This will
cause the heating pad to warm up quickly.

Note: The heating pad switches itself off automati-

cally after about 90 minutes. The function display 2
then starts to flash.

conds, reset the heating pad to the desired
temperature setting to switch it on again.

If the heating pad is no longer used after
the timer expires:

– switch off the heating pad (Setting 0),
– unplug from the socket,
– disconnect the plug-in connection

In accordance with the European Directive on waste
electrical and electronic equipment and its transpo­sition into national law, used electrical equipment
must be collected separately and recycled in an en­vironmentally friendly manner.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn out
heating pad.

Warranty / Ser vice centre

We provide a 3-year warranty covering faults in
materials or manufacture of the product from the
purchase date.

The warranty does not cover:

· Damage resulting from improper use.

· Wear parts.

· Defects that were known to the customer at the
time of purchase.

· Damage for which the customer was responsible.

This warranty does not affect the customer‘s legal
rights.

The customer must provide proof of purchase in
order for any warranty claims within the warranty
period to be honoured. Claims under the warranty

first instance, before you return the device to the

ogrzewać nią niemowląt, małych dzieci, osób nie­samodzielnych lub niewrażliwych na ciepło oraz
