Indicazioni relative alla sicurezza
PERICOLO DI SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
► Collegare l'apparecchio esclusivamente a una presa di rete
installata a norma con tensione di rete da 220 - 240 V ~,
50/60 Hz.
► In caso di guasti e prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la
spina dalla presa di corrente.
► Scollegare la spina dalla presa tirando sempre dalla spina,
mai dal cavo.
► Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non
sia esposto all'acqua o all'umidità. Condurlo in modo tale
da impedire che si incastri o danneggi.
► In caso di danni all'apparecchio, al cavo di rete, o alla spina
di rete, far eseguire la sostituzione dal centro di assistenza
clienti, al fine di evitare pericoli.
► Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'aperto.
► Non utilizzare cavi di prolunga, al fine di poter raggiungere
rapidamente la spina di rete in caso di emergenza.
► Non afferrare mai l'apparecchio, il cavo di rete e la spina di
rete con le mani umide.
► Non piegare o schiacciare il cavo di alimentazione e posi-
zionarlo in modo che non sia d'intralcio o inciampo.
► Non avvolgere il cavo di rete attorno all'apparecchio e
proteggerlo da eventuali danneggiamenti. Non immergere
mai l'apparecchio in liquidi e impedire la penetrazione di
liquidi nell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio. Non esporre
l'apparecchio all'umidità e non utilizzarlo all'aperto. In caso
di infiltrazioni di liquidi nell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio,
disinserire subito la spina dalla presa e far riparare l'apparecchio da personale specializzato qualificato.

PERICOLO DI SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
► Dopo l'uso, staccare immediatamente l'apparecchio dalla rete
elettrica. L'apparecchio è completamente privo di tensione
solo se scollegato dalla rete elettrica.
Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio in prossimità dell'acqua,
soprattutto di lavandini, vasche da bagno o simili. La
vicinanza all'acqua rappresenta un pericolo anche con
l'apparecchio spento. Staccare dunque sempre la spina
dopo ogni utilizzo. Come protezione addizionale, si
consiglia l'installazione di un dispositivo di protezione
per correnti di dispersione con una corrente nominale di
attivazione di non oltre 30 mA nel circuito della stanza
da bagno. Consultare il proprio elettricista.
AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Non lasciare mai incustodito l'apparecchio acceso.
► Non collocare l'apparecchio nelle vicinanze di fonti di calore
e proteggere il cavo di rete da eventuali danneggiamenti.
► Se l'apparecchio avesse subito cadute o danni, non metterlo
più in funzione. L'apparecchio deve essere sottoposto a controllo da parte di personale specializzato e all'occorrenza
riparato.
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini di
almeno 8anni di età e da persone con capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insufficiente esperienza o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli associati.
► I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio.
► La pulizia e la manutenzione a carico dell'utente non devono
essere eseguite dai bambini a meno che essi non vengano
sorvegliati.

AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Non è consentito aprire o riparare autonomamente l'alloggia-
mento dell'apparecchio. Aprendolo ci si espone a pericoli e
la garanzia decade. Far riparare l'apparecchio guasto solo
da personale specializzato autorizzato.
► L'apparecchio si riscalda durante il funzionamento.
Se l'apparecchio è surriscaldato, afferrarlo solo dall'impugnatura.
Volume della fornitura
La fornitura standard dell’apparecchio comprende i seguenti componenti:

1) Rimuovere tutti i componenti dell’apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni dalla
confezione.
2) Rimuovere completamente il materiale di imballaggio.
3) Pulire tutti i componenti dell’apparecchio, così come descritto al capitolo
“Pulizia”.
NOTA
► Controllare la completezza e l'integrità della fornitura.
► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o
da imballaggio inadeguato, rivolgersi alla linea diretta di assistenza
(v. capitolo "Assistenza").

Smaltimento della confezione
L’imballaggio protegge l’apparecchio dai danni da trasporto. I materiali di
imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e
alle caratteristiche di smaltimento, pertanto sono riciclabili.
Il riciclo dell’imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di rifiuti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità
alle normative locali vigenti.
Tenere conto dei codici presenti sui vari materiali di imballaggio ed eventualmente
separare i materiali effettuando una raccolta differenziata. I materiali d’imballaggio presentano codici costituiti da abbreviazioni (a) e numeri (b) con il seguente
significato:
1–7: materie plastiche
20–22: carta e cartone
80–98: materiali compositi

► Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia conservare l'imballaggio
originale per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio in caso di
intervento in garanzia.

Prima della stiratura
■ I capelli devono essere puliti, asciutti ed esenti da prodotti cosmetici. Fanno
eccezione i prodotti speciali che aiutano a migliorare la stiratura dei capelli.
■ Prima di effettuare la stiratura, pettinare accuratamente i capelli in modo da
eliminare eventuali nodi.
Spegnimento automatico
Questo apparecchio è dotato di un dispositivo di spegnimento automatico. Dopo
30 minuti l’apparecchio smette automaticamente di scaldare. La spia d’indicazione 4 lampeggia e ogni 10 secondi viene emesso un segnale acustico fino a
quando non viene azionato l’interruttore ON/OFF 3. Se si desidera continuare
a utilizzare l’apparecchio, spegnere brevemente l’apparecchio e poi riaccenderlo.
NOTA
► Lo spegnimento automatico serve solo ai fini di sicurezza e non sostituisce
lo spegnimento dell'apparecchio tramite l'interruttore ON/OFF 3!
Uso
Accensione/spegnimento
NOTA
► Le piastre riscaldanti 5 6 devono essere esenti dallo sporco. Pulirle se
necessario prima dell'uso (vedi capitolo "Pulizia").
1) L’apparecchio è assicurato dal tasto di bloccaggio 2.
Per sbloccare l’apparecchio comprimere le piastre riscaldanti 5 6 e premere
il simbolo
Ora è possibile aprire completamente il ferro stiracapelli.
2) Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente.
3) Spingere l’interruttore ON/OFF 3 in avanti. Viene emesso un segnale
acustico e la spia d’indicazione 4 inizia a lampeggiare in rosso, indicando
l’avvio del riscaldamento.
4) Non appena il ferro stiracapelli è riscaldato a circa 120 °C, vengono emessi
tre segnali acustici e la spia d’indicazione 4 rimane accesa costantemente
con luce rossa.
NOTA
► Se si utilizza l'apparecchio per un periodo prolungato, esso si riscalda a
ca. 190 °C (+/- 10 °C).
5) Dopo aver terminato l’acconciatura dei capelli, estrarre l’interruttore
ON/OFF 3. La spia d’indicazione 4 si spegne.
6) Staccare la spina di rete e fare raffreddare completamente l’apparecchio.
7) Per bloccare l’apparecchio comprimere le piastre riscaldanti 5 6 e premere
il simbolo

Stiratura dei capelli
1) Preparare i capelli come descritto al capitolo “Prima della stiratura”.
2) Iniziare con i capelli della parte bassa e posteriore della nuca. Spostarsi poi
verso il davanti passando per i lati:
Prelevare una ciocca di circa 2 cm di larghezza e bloccare l’estremità dalla
radice con l’indice e il medio della mano che non impugna il ferro stiracapelli.
AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Assicurarsi di non toccare il cuoio capelluto con le piastre riscaldanti 5
6. Durante il funzionamento, non toccare mai le piastre riscaldanti 5 6
o la parte superiore dello stiracapelli! Pericolo di ustioni!
3) Prendere la ciocca di capelli, partendo dalla radice, fra le piastre riscaldanti
5 6 e chiudere le piastre.
4) Passare l’intera ciocca di capelli attraverso le piastre riscaldanti 5 6, tirando
rapidamente il ferro verso il basso fino alla punta della ciocca.
5) Procedere in questo modo con ogni singola ciocca.
6) Dopo aver stirato tutte le ciocche, spegnere l’apparecchio e staccare la
spina dalla presa di corrente.
7) Far raffreddare completamente l’apparecchio.
Pulizia
► Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di

Conservazione

Smaltimento dell'apparecchio
Non gettare per alcun motivo l'apparecchio insieme ai normali
rifiuti domestici.
Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea 2012/19/EU.
Smaltire l'apparecchio tramite un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o l'ente
di smaltimento comunale. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso di
dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento competente.

Questo apparecchio ha una garanzia di 3 anni dalla data di acquisto. Qualora
questo prodotto presentasse vizi, Le spettano diritti legali nei confronti del venditore
del prodotto. La garanzia qui di seguito descritta non costituisce alcun limite a
tali diritti legali.
Condizioni di garanzia
Il periodo di garanzia decorre dalla data dell’acquisto. Si prega di conservare lo
scontrino di cassa originale. Tale documento è necessario come prova di acquisto.
Qualora entro tre anni a partire dalla data dell’acquisto di questo prodotto si
presentasse un vizio del materiale o di fabbricazione, provvederemo, a nostra
discrezione, a riparare o a sostituire gratuitamente il prodotto. Questa prestazione
di garanzia ha come presupposto che l’apparecchio difettoso e la prova di acquisto
(scontrino di cassa) vengano presentati entro il termine di tre anni e che si descriva
per iscritto in cosa consiste il vizio e quando si è presentato.
Se il vizio rientra nell’ambito della nostra garanzia, il Suo prodotto verrà riparato
o sostituito da uno nuovo. Con la riparazione o la sostituzione del prodotto non
decorre un nuovo periodo di garanzia.
Periodo di garanzia e diritti legali di rivendicazione di vizi
Il periodo di garanzia non viene prolungato da interventi in garanzia. Ciò vale
anche per le parti sostituite e riparate. Danni e vizi eventualmente già presenti
al momento dell’acquisto devono venire segnalati immediatamente dopo che
l’apparecchio è stato disimballato. Le riparazioni eseguite dopo la scadenza del
periodo di garanzia sono a pagamento.
Ambito della garanzia
L’apparecchio è stato prodotto con cura secondo severe direttive qualitative e
debitamente collaudato prima della consegna.
La garanzia viene prestata in caso di vizi del materiale o di fabbricazione.
Questa garanzia non si estende a componenti del prodotto che sono esposti al
normale logorio e possono pertanto essere considerati come componenti soggetti
a usura o a danni che si verificano su componenti delicati, per es. interruttori, batterie,
stampi da forno o parti realizzate in vetro.
Questa garanzia decade se il prodotto è stato danneggiato oppure utilizzato o
sottoposto a interventi di manutenzione in modo non conforme. Per un utilizzo
adeguato del prodotto si devono rigorosamente rispettare tutte le istruzioni esposte
nel manuale di istruzioni per l’uso. Si devono assolutamente evitare modalità di
utilizzo e azioni che il manuale di istruzioni per l’uso sconsiglia o da cui esso mette
in guardia.
Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso domestico e non a quello commerciale. La garanzia decade in caso di impiego improprio o manomissione, uso
della forza e interventi non eseguiti dalla nostra filiale di assistenza autorizzata.

■ Tenga a portata di mano per qualsiasi richiesta lo scontrino di cassa e il
codice dell’articolo (per es. IAN 12345) come prova di acquisto.
■ Il codice dell’articolo è indicato sulla targhetta di modello, su un’incisione,
sul frontespizio del manuale di istruzioni per l’uso (in basso a sinistro) o
come adesivo sul lato posteriore o inferiore.
■ Qualora si presentassero malfunzionamenti o altri tipi di vizi, contatti innan-
zitutto il reparto assistenza clienti qui di seguito indicato telefonicamente
o via e-mail.
■ Una volta che il prodotto è stato registrato come difettoso, lo può poi spedire
a nostro carico, provvedendo ad allegare la prova di acquisto (scontrino di

Instruções de segurança
PERIGO DE CHOQUE ELÉTRICO
► Ligue o aparelho apenas a uma tomada devidamente insta-
lada, com uma tensão de alimentação de 220 - 240 V ~,
50/60 Hz.
► Em caso de falhas de funcionamento, e antes de limpar o
aparelho, retire a ficha da tomada.
► Retire o cabo de alimentação da tomada sempre pela ficha,
não puxe pelo cabo.
► Certifique-se de que o cabo de alimentação não fica húmido
ou molhado durante o funcionamento. Coloque o cabo de
modo que não possa ficar entalado nem ser danificado.
► Se o aparelho, o cabo de alimentação ou a ficha elétrica
estiver danificado(a), deve ser substituído(a) pelo serviço de
apoio ao cliente, de modo a evitar perigos.
► Não utilize o aparelho ao ar livre.
► Não utilize cabos de extensão, de modo que, em caso de
emergência, a ficha esteja facilmente acessível.
► Nunca toque no aparelho, no cabo de alimentação e na
ficha elétrica com as mãos molhadas.
► Não dobre nem esmague o cabo de alimentação e colo-
que-o de modo que ninguém possa pisá-lo ou tropeçar no
mesmo.
► Não enrole o cabo de alimentação à volta do aparelho e
proteja-o de danos. Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em líquidos
e não deixe entrar líquidos no corpo do aparelho. Não
exponha o aparelho a humidade nem o utilize ao ar livre.
No entanto, em caso de infiltração de líquido no corpo
do aparelho, remova imediatamente a ficha da tomada e
solicite a respetiva reparação por técnicos devidamente
qualificados.

PERIGO DE CHOQUE ELÉTRICO
► Após a utilização, desligue imediatamente o aparelho da
corrente. Este só fica totalmente isento de corrente quando
retira a ficha da tomada.
Nunca utilize o aparelho na proximidade de água, especialmente lavatórios, banheiras ou recipientes similares.
A proximidade à água representa perigo, mesmo com o
aparelho desligado. Por esta razão, retire a ficha da
tomada após cada utilização. Como proteção adicional,
recomenda-se a instalação de um dispositivo diferencial
residual com uma corrente de disparo nominal igual
ou inferior a 30 mA no circuito da casa de banho.
Aconselhe-se com o seu eletricista.
AVISO! PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!
► Nunca deixe o aparelho em funcionamento sem vigilância.
► Nunca coloque o aparelho próximo de fontes de calor e
proteja o cabo de alimentação contra danos.
► Se o aparelho tiver caído ou estiver danificado, não o pode
voltar a colocar em funcionamento. O aparelho deve ser

Eliminação da embalagem
A embalagem protege o aparelho contra danos durante o transporte. Os materiais de embalagem são selecionados tendo em conta os aspetos ambientais e
técnicos relativamente à eliminação, sendo, por isso, recicláveis.
A reciclagem da embalagem permite a poupança de matérias-primas e reduz a
formação de lixo. Elimine os materiais de embalagem que já não são necessários
de acordo com os regulamentos locais em vigor.

Antes de alisar
■ O cabelo deve estar limpo, seco e sem produtos modeladores. Os produtos
específicos para alisar o cabelo constituem uma exceção.
■ Penteie bem o cabelo antes de alisar para que não fiquem nós no cabelo.
Desativação automática
Este aparelho está equipado com uma desativação automática. Após 30 minutos, o aparelho para automaticamente de aquecer. A luz indicadora 4 pisca
e é emitido um sinal de aviso a intervalos de 10 segundos, até o interruptor
LIGAR/DESLIGAR 3 ser acionado. Se quiser continuar a utilizar o aparelho,
desligue-o por breves momentos e ligue-o novamente.
NOTA
► A desativação automática destina-se apenas à segurança e não substitui a
desativação do aparelho por meio do interruptor LIGAR/DESLIGAR 3!

2) Insira a ficha numa tomada.
3) Desloque o interruptor LIGAR/DESLIGAR 3 para a frente. É emitido um
sinal sonoro e a luz indicadora 4 começa a piscar a vermelho, indicando
assim o aquecimento.
4) Assim que o alisador de cabelo tiver aquecido a uma temperatura de aprox.
120 °C são emitidos três sinais sonoros e a luz indicadora 4 fica continuamente acesa com a cor vermelha.
NOTA
► No caso de uma utilização prolongada, o aparelho aquece a aprox.
190 °C (+/- 10 °C).
5) Desloque o interruptor LIGAR/DESLIGAR 3 para trás quando terminar a modelagem do cabelo. A luz indicadora 4 apaga-se.
6) Retire a ficha da tomada e deixe o aparelho arrefecer completamente.
7) Pressione as placas de aquecimento 5 6 uma contra a outra e prima o

Alisar o cabelo
1) Prepare o cabelo, tal como descrito em “Antes de alisar”.
2) Comece pelos cabelos inferiores da parte de trás da cabeça. Trabalhe
pelos lados para a frente:
Separe uma madeixa de cabelo com aprox. 2 cm de largura e prenda a
extremidade dos cabelos junto à raiz com os dedos indicador e médio da
mão com que não segura o alisador de cabelo.
AVISO! PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!
► Certifique-se de que não toca no couro cabeludo com as placas de
aquecimento 5 6. Nunca toque nas placas de aquecimento 5 6 ou
na parte superior do alisador de cabelo durante a utilização! Perigo de
queimaduras!
3) Fixe a madeixa de cabelo junto ao couro cabeludo, entre as placas de
aquecimento 5 6, e feche-as.
4) Puxe a madeixa de cabelo completa pelas placas de aquecimento 5 6,
deslocando o alisador de cabelo rapidamente para baixo, desde a raiz até
às pontas.
5) Proceda deste modo com cada madeixa.
6) Depois de alisar todas as madeixas de cabelo, desligue o aparelho e retire
a ficha da tomada.
7) Deixe o aparelho arrefecer totalmente.

Safety information
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying
a mains power voltage of 220–240 V ~, 50/60 Hz.
► Remove the plug from the mains power socket in case of
operating malfunctions and before you clean the appliance.
► Always pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance from the
mains; never pull on the power cable itself.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or damp
during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be
crushed or damaged.
► If the appliance, the power cable or the plug are damaged,
arrange for them to be repaired by Customer Services to
avoid hazardous situations.
► Do not use the appliance outdoors.
► Do not use extension cables – they will make it difficult to
disconnect the appliance quickly in an emergency.

► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and

Never use the appliance near water, and keep it away
from sinks, baths and other similar containers.

we recommend that you install a residual current circuit
breaker with an activation power rating of no more than
30 mA for the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material
components for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with

Before straightening
■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. The only excep-
tions to this are special products that promote the straightening of the hair.
■ Comb the hair thoroughly before straightening so that there are no knots in it.
Automatic switch-off
This appliance is fitted with an automatic switch-off system. After 30 minutes the
appliance stops heating automatically. The indicator lamp 4 flashes and you
hear a warning beep every 10 seconds until the ON/OFF switch 3 is pressed.
If you want to continue using the appliance, switch it off for a moment and then
back on again.
NOTE
► The automatic switch-off is a safety function only. It is not intended as a
replacement for switching the appliance off properly by using the ON/
OFF switch 3!
Operation

NOTE
► The hotplates 5 6 must be free of dirt. Clean them before use if required
(see section "Cleaning").
1) The appliance is locked with the catch 2.
Press the hotplates 5 6 together and press the
to unlock the appliance.
Now you can open the hair straightener all the way.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
3) Push the ON/OFF switch 3 forwards. The indicator lamp 4 starts flashing
red to indicate that the appliance is heating up.
4) As soon as the hair straightener has heated up to approx. 120°C, you hear
three beeps and the indicator lamp 4 lights up permanently red.
NOTE
► During longer use the appliance heats up to around 190°C (+/− 10°C).
5) When you have finished styling your hair, push the ON/OFF switch 3 to
the rear. The indicator lamp 4 goes out.
6) Pull out the plug and allow the appliance to cool down completely.
7) Press the hotplates 5 6 together and press the

Straightening hair
1) Prepare the hair as described in “Before straightening”.
2) Start with the lower sections of hair at the back of your head. Work around
the sides towards the front:
Take a strand of hair about 2cm wide and hold the end of the strand tightly
between your index and middle finger of the hand that is not holding the
hair straightener.

► Ensure that the hotplates 5 6 do not touch your scalp. Never touch the
hotplates 5 6 or the upper part of the hair straightener during operation!

3) Clamp the strand near the root between the hotplates 5 6 and press them
together.
4) Pull the entire strand through the hotplates 5 6 by pulling the hair straightener
quickly downwards from the root to the tips.
5) Proceed in the same way for every strand.
6) Once you have straightened all the strands, switch the appliance off and pull
the power plug from the mains power socket.
7) Allow the appliance to cool down completely.

2) For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth. Wipe off any detergent
residue using a cloth moistened with clean water only.
3) Allow the appliance to dry fully before using it again.

Storage
■ Place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface to cool down.
■ You can hang the appliance up by the hanger 1.
If you do not intend using the appliance for long periods,

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedie-
nungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für
Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des
Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das
Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

Der Haarglätter dient zum Glätten von menschlichen Haaren, keinesfalls für
Perücken und Haarteile aus synthetischem Material. Sie dürfen das Gerät
ausschließlich für private Zwecke verwenden. Beachten Sie alle Informationen in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Dieses Gerät
ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte
Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V ~,
50/60 Hz an.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät
reinigen den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass
oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt
oder beschädigt werden kann.
► Sollte das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
beschädigt sein, lassen Sie diese durch den Kundendienst
ersetzen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.
► Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im Notfall der
Netzstecker schnell zu erreichen ist.
► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen
Händen an.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verle-
gen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.
► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät und schützen
Sie es vor Beschädigungen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls
in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das
Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner
Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch
einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie
sofort den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose
und lassen Sie es von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Strom-
netz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose
ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von
Wasser, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken, Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe
von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät
ausgeschaltet ist. Ziehen Sie daher nach jedem Gebrauch
den Netzstecker. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird Ihnen die
Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im
Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren
Elektroinstallateur um Rat.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen
und schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Beschädigungen.
► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen
Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät
von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenenfalls reparieren.
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von
Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht selbst öffnen oder repa-
rieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und
die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie das defekte Gerät
nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Das Gerät erhitzt sich während des Betriebs.
Fassen Sie es im heißen Zustand nur am Griff an.
Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus der
Verpackung.
2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.
HINWEIS
► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel „Service“).

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien
und trennen Sie diese gegebenenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien
sind gekennzeichnet mit Abkürzungen (a) und Ziffern (b) mit folgender Bedeutung:
1–7: Kunststoffe
20–22: Papier und Pappe
80–98: Verbundstoffe
HINWEIS
► Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garan-
tiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß
verpacken zu können.

Vor dem Glätten
■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-
nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Glätten des Haares unterstützen.
■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Glätten gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten
im Haar befinden.
Automatische Abschaltung
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer automatischen Abschaltung ausgestattet. Nach 30
Minuten hört das Gerät automatisch auf zu heizen. Die Indikationsleuchte 4
blinkt und es ertönt alle 10 Sekunden ein Warnsignal, bis der EIN-/AUSSchalter3 betätigt wird. Wenn Sie das Gerät weiter benutzen möchten,
schalten Sie das Gerät kurz aus und sofort wieder ein.
HINWEIS
► Die automatische Abschaltung dient nur der Sicherheit und ersetzt nicht das
Ausschalten des Gerätes mittels des EIN-/AUS-Schalters 3!
Bedienung
Ein-/Ausschalten
HINWEIS
► Die Heizplatten 5 6 müssen frei von Verschmutzungen sein. Reinigen Sie
diese vor Benutzung gegebenenfalls (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung“).
1) Das Gerät ist durch die Verriegelung 2 gesichert.
Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 5 6 zusammen und drücken Sie auf das
-Symbol der Verriegelungstaste2, um das Gerät zu entriegeln.
Der Haarglätter lässt sich nun weit öffnen.
2) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
3) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter 3 nach vorne. Es ertönt ein Signalton
und die Indikationsleuchte 4 beginnt rot zu blinken und zeigt so das Aufheizen an.
4) Sobald der Haarglätter auf etwa 120 °C aufgeheizt hat, ertönen drei
Signaltöne und die Indikationsleuchte 4 leuchtet dauerhaft rot.
HINWEIS
► Bei längerem Betrieb heizt das Gerät auf ca. 190 °C (+/- 10 °C) auf.
5) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter 3 nach hinten, wenn Sie mit dem Styling
der Haare fertig sind. Die Indikationsleuchte 4 erlischt.
6) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
7) Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 5 6 zusammen und drücken Sie auf das
-Symbol der Verriegelungstaste2, um das Gerät zu verriegeln.

Haare glätten
1) Bereiten Sie das Haar, wie unter „Vor dem Glätten“ beschrieben, vor.
2) Fangen Sie mit den unteren Haarpartien am Hinterkopf an. Arbeiten Sie sich
über die Seiten nach vorne:
Teilen Sie eine ca. 2 cm breite Haarsträhne ab und klemmen Sie das Ende
am Haaransatz straff zwischen Zeige- und Mittelfinger der Hand, mit der Sie
nicht den Haarglätter führen.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie mit den Heizplatten 5 6 nicht die Kopfhaut
berühren. Sie dürfen während des Betriebes niemals die Heizplatten 5 6
oder den oberen Teil des Haarglätters berühren! Verbrennungsgefahr!
3) Klemmen Sie die Haarsträhne nahe der Kopfhaut zwischen die Heizplatten5 6
und drücken Sie diese zusammen.
4) Ziehen Sie die ganze Haarsträhne durch die Heizplatten 5 6, indem Sie
den Haarglätter zügig vom Haaransatz zu den Spitzen nach unten ziehen.
5) Verfahren Sie so mit jeder einzelnen Strähne.
6) Wenn Sie alle Strähnen geglättet haben, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
7) Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
Reinigung

► Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät bei der Reinigung keinesfalls in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten tauchen!
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung ausreichend abkühlen.
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel oder Lösemittel. Diese
könnten die Oberfläche beschädigen.
1) Wischen Sie das Gehäuse und die Heizplatten 5 6 mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
2) Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel
auf das Tuch. Entfernen Sie Reinigungsmittelrückstände mit einem mit Wasser
befeuchteten Tuch.
3) Lassen Sie das Gerät gut trocknen, bevor Sie es wieder verwenden.

Aufbewahren
■ Legen Sie das Gerät zum Auskühlen immer auf eine hitzeunempfindliche
Oberfläche.
■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse 1 aufhängen.
Wenn Sie das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht benutzen:
■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und sauberen Ort auf.

Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.

Garantie der Kompernaß Handels GmbH
Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von
Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden
dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original–
Kassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Materialoder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für
Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon)
vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und
wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte
oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Abwicklung im Garantiefall
Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung Ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie bitte
den folgenden Hinweisen:
■ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer
(z. B. IAN 12345) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.
■ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild, einer Gravur, auf
dem Titelblatt Ihrer Anleitung (unten links) oder als Aufkleber auf der Rückoder Unterseite.
■ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten, kontaktieren Sie zunächst
die nachfolgend benannte Serviceabteilung telefonisch oder per E-Mail.
■ Ein als defekt erfasstes Produkt können Sie dann unter Beifügung des Kauf-
belegs (Kassenbon) und der Angabe, worin der Mangel besteht und wann
er aufgetreten ist, für Sie portofrei an die Ihnen mitgeteilte Serviceanschrift
übersenden.
