Hornhaut an Füßen gedacht. Es ist nur für den privaten Gebrauch bestimmt.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht gewerblich.

gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes aus
der Verpackung und entfernen Sie sämtliches
Verpackungsmaterial.

verwendet werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
HINWEIS
► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und

Schäden infolge mangelhafter Verpackung oder

Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab

sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des

Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR
Bei langer Benutzung kann es auf

der Haut zu einer starken Wärmeentwicklung kommen. Legen Sie daher Pausen ein. Ansonsten besteht
Verbrennungsgefahr!
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wäh-
rend Sie baden oder duschen.
► Fassen Sie das Gerät niemals mit
nassen oder feuchten Händen an.
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN
Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen

Original - Ersatzteile ausgetauscht
werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist
gewährleistet, dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllen werden.
► Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtig-
keit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten.
► Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Stößen,
Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Chemikalien,
starken Temperaturschwankungen
und zu nahen Wärmequellen
(Öfen, Heizkörper).
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals
unter Decken, Kissen etc..

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN
Lagern Sie das Gerät nicht an

einem Ort, wo es in die Badewanne
oder ein Waschbecken fallen kann.
► Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in
Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass sich der
Antrieb immer frei drehen kann.
Ansonsten überhitzt das Gerät und
wird irreparabel beschädigt.

HINWEISE ZUM UMGANG MIT
BATTERIEN
Entnehmen Sie die Batterien, wenn
►
Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht
benutzen – Batterien entladen sich
selbst und können dann auslaufen.
► Bei ausgelaufenen Batterien: Ziehen
Sie Schutzhandschuhe an und reinigen Sie das Batteriefach mit einem
trockenen Tuch.
► Verwenden Sie stets nur neue Bat-
terien des gleichen Typs, wie in den
technischen Daten angegeben.
► Werfen Sie die Batterien nicht ins
Feuer. Schließen Sie die Batterien
nicht kurz. Versuchen Sie nicht die
Batterien wieder aufzuladen. Es
besteht Explosionsgefahr!
► Halten Sie Batterien von Klein-
kindern fern. Kleinkinder könnten
Batterien in den Mund nehmen und
verschlucken. Nehmen Sie sofort
medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch,
wenn eine Batterie verschluckt wurde. Es besteht Lebensgefahr!

Allgemeines
Hornhaut bildet sich an Stellen, wo die Haut besonderer Beanspruchung durch Reibung und Druck
ausgesetzt ist.
Wird die Hornhaut zu dick, z. B. durch schlecht
sitzende Schuhe oder sehr trockene Haut, können
Schmerzen entstehen.
Klären Sie gegebenenfalls die Ursache der übermäßigen Hornhautbildung mit einem Arzt ab.

Bedienung
Batterien einsetzen/wechseln
1) Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach , indem Sie den
Batteriefachdeckel an der geriffelten Stelle etwas
herunter drücken und gleichzeitig den Batteriefachdeckel nach unten schieben.
2) Entfernen Sie, falls eingelegt, die leeren Batterien.
3) Setzen Sie die neuen Batterien gemäß der im
Batteriefach angegebenen Polarität ein. Benutzen Sie nur Batterien des Typs 1,5 V, AA, LR6.
4) Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf
das Batteriefach , so dass er fest sitzt.
Schleifaufsatz einsetzen/austauschen
HINWEIS
► Um neue Schleifaufsätze / zu bestellen,
wenden Sie sich an den Service (siehe Kapitel
„Service“). Halten Sie die IAN-Nummer bereit
(siehe Cover der Bedienungsanleitung).
Um einen Schleifaufsatz / abzunehmen:
1) Drücken Sie die Entriegelung nach unten und
ziehen Sie gleichzeitig die Seite des Schleifaufsatzes / nach oben, die sich neben der
Entriegelung befindet.
2) Sie können dann den Schleifaufsatz / von
der Antriebsachse ziehen.

Um einen Schleifaufsatz / einzusetzen (siehe
Abbildung 1):
1) Schieben Sie den Schleifaufsatz / mit der
Antriebsachsenaufnahme auf die Antriebs-
achse .
2) Drücken Sie die andere Seite des Schleifaufsatzes / nach unten. Achten Sie darauf, dass
die Arretierung korrekt in die Schiene gleitet
und einrastet.

Anwendung
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR
► Bei zu langer und intensiver Behandlung können
auch tiefere Hautschichten verletzt werden.
Kontrollieren Sie daher regelmäßig die Behandlungsergebnisse. Besonders Diabetiker sind an
den Händen und Füßen weniger sensibel.
HINWEIS
► Das Gerät zeigt bei eingeweichter Haut nur
eine reduzierte Wirkung. Führen Sie daher vor
der Benutzung des Gerätes keine Vorbehandlung im Wasserbad durch.
► Beenden Sie die Behandlung sofort, wenn Sie
diese als unangenehm empfinden oder Sie
Schmerzen haben.

1) Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe vom Gerät.
2) Wählen Sie den gewünschten Schleifaufsatz
/ aus:
– grober Schleifaufsatz (grau): bei starker
Hornhaut
– feiner Schleifaufsatz (rot): bei weniger
starker Hornhaut und zum Glätten der
Hornhaut.
3) Installieren Sie den Schleifaufsatz / wie im
Kapitel „Bedienung“ beschrieben.
4) Drücken Sie die im Ein-/Aus-Schalter integrierte Sicherheitstaste und schieben Sie gleichzeitig
den Ein-/Aus-Schalter nach oben. Der
Schleifaufsatz / dreht sich.
5) Fahren Sie nun langsam und mit leichtem Druck
über die zu entfernende Hornhaut. Bewegen Sie
dabei das Gerät in verschiedene Richtungen.
Bleiben Sie bei der Behandlung nicht länger
an einer Stelle stehen. Durch die Reibung kann
unangenehme Hitze entstehen.
6) Wenn Sie mit der Behandlung fertig sind, schieben Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter nach unten.
7) Entfernen Sie Hautschuppen und Staub vom
Schleifaufsatz / und dem Handgerät mit
Hilfe des mitgelieferten Reinigungspinsels .
8) Setzen Sie die Schutzkappe auf.
HINWEIS
► Reiben Sie nach der Behandlung die Haut mit
einer pflegenden Creme ein.

Reinigung und Pflege
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN
► Verwenden Sie keine chemischen, aggressiven
oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel. Diese greifen die Oberfläche an.
► Tauchen Sie das Gerät und den Schleifaufsatz
/ nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
♦ Reinigen Sie das Gerät, insbesonders die
Schleifaufsätze /, nach jeder Benutznug
mit dem Reinigungspinsel .
♦ Reinigen Sie das Gerät und die Schleifaufsät-
ze / mit einem feuchten Tuch. Achten
Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser oder Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät eindringt. Trocknen Sie alles
gut ab.
♦ Wir empfehlen die Aufsätze aus hygienischen
Gründen nach jedem Gebrauch mit einem
mit Desinfektionsmittel befeuchteten Tuch
bzw. Bürste zu reinigen. Trocknen Sie alles
gut ab.
Aufbewahrung
♦ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen
und sauberen Ort.

Entsorgung
Gerät entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls
in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses
Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU WEEE
(Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer
Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Batterien/Akkus entsorgen
Batterien/Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich
verpflichtet, Batterien/Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde / seines Stadtteils
oder im Handel abzugeben. Diese Verpflichtung dient dazu, dass Batterien/Akkus einer
umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt
werden können. Geben Sie Batterien/Akkus
nur im entladenen Zustand zurück.
Verpackung entsorgen
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den
Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte
Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den
örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

► Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpa-
ckung während der Garantiezeit des Gerätes
auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können.
Garantie
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig produziert und vor
Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis für
den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen Sie sich im Garantiefall mit
Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so
kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.
HINWEIS
► Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen an
zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter oder Akkus.
Das Produkt ist lediglich für den privaten und nicht
für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei
missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung,
Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von
unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.
Ihre gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch diese Garantie
nicht eingeschränkt. Die Garantiezeit wird durch die
Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für
ersetzte und reparierte Teile.
Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken
gemeldet werden, spätestens aber zwei Tage nach
Kaufdatum.
Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.

REMARQUES CONCERNANT
L'UTILISATION DES PILES
Retirez les piles si vous n'utilisez pas

l'appareil pendant une période
prolongée – les piles se déchargent
d'elles-mêmes et peuvent alors
s'écouler.
► En cas de fuites des piles : enfilez
des gants de protection et nettoyez
le compartiment à piles avec un
chiffon sec.
► Utilisez exclusivement de nouvelles
piles du même type, conformément
aux indications dans les caractéristiques techniques.
► Ne jetez pas les piles dans le feu.
Ne court-circuitez pas les piles.
N'essayez pas de recharger à nouveau les piles. Risque d'explosion!
► Gardez les piles hors de portée des
jeunes enfants. Les jeunes enfants
pourraient prendre les piles dans la
bouche et les avaler. En cas d'ingestion, il faut immédiatement consulter
un médecin. Il y a danger de mort !

Généralités
La corne se forme aux endroits où la peau est exposée
à une sollicitation particulière, due au frottement et à
la pression.
Lorsque la peau s'épaissit, par ex. à cause de chaussures mal adaptées ou d'une peau très sèche, des
douleurs peuvent alors apparaitre.
Le cas échéant, recherchez la cause de cette formation
de corne excessive avec l'aide d'un médecin.

Utilisation
Mettre en place / remplacer les piles
1) Ouvrez le compartiment à piles en appuyant
légèrement sur le couvercle du compartiment à
l'endroit cannelé, et en poussant parallèlement le
couvercle du compartiment à piles vers le bas.
2) Retirez les piles vides, si elles se trouvent en place.
3) Placez les nouvelles piles conformément à la polarité figurant sur le compartiment à piles . Utilisez
uniquement des piles de type 1,5 V, AA, LR6.
4) Glissez à nouveau le couvercle du compartiment
à piles sur le compartiment à piles pour obtenir
une assise ferme.
Mettre en place / échanger l'embout
émeri
REMARQUE
► Pour commander de nouveaux embouts émeri
/, adressez-vous au service après-vente
(voir chapitre «Service»). Ayez votre numéro
IAN à portée de main (voir couverture du mode
d’emploi).
Pour retirer un embout émeri / :
1) Appuyez sur le déverrouillage et retirez en
même temps par le haut le côté de l'embout
émeri / qui se trouve à côté du déverrouillage .
2) Vous pouvez alors tirer l'embout émeri / de
l'axe d'entraînement .

Pour mettre en place un embout émeri /
(voir figure 1) :
1) Glissez l'embout émeri / avec le logement
d'axe d'entraînement sur l'axe d'entraînement .
2) Appuyez l'autre côté de l'embout émeri /
vers le bas. Veillez à ce que le verrouillage
glisse et s'enclenche correctement dans les rails.

Utilisation
AVERTISSEMENT - RISQUE DE BLESSURE
► Les couches plus profondes de la peau peuvent
être attaquées après un traitement trop long et
trop intense. Nous vous conseillons par conséquent de contrôler régulièrement les résultats
au fur et à mesure du traitement. Les personnes
diabétiques notamment sont moins sensibles des
mains et des pieds.
REMARQUE
► L'appareil est moins efficace lorsque la peau
est ramollie. Nous vous conseillons donc par
conséquent de ne pas prendre de bain de pied
avant d'utiliser l'appareil.
► Arrêtez immédiatement tout traitement si vous le
ressentez comme désagréable ou s'il vous fait
souffrir.

1) Retirez la coiffe de protection de l'appareil.
2) Choisissez l'embout émeri / souhaité :
– embout émeri à gros grain (gris) :
pour une corne importante
– embout émeri à grain fin (rouge) :
pour une corne moins importante et pour
lisser la corne.
3) Installez l'embout émeri / comme décrit
dans le chapitre "Utilisation".
4) Appuyez sur la touche de sécurité intégrée dans
le commutateur marche/arrêt et glissez en
même temps le commutateur marche/arrêt
vers le haut. L'embout émeri / tourne.
5) Passez maintenant lentement et en exerçant une
légère pression sur la corne à éliminer. Déplacez
pour cela l'appareil dans différentes directions.
Lors du traitement, ne restez pas trop longtemps
au même endroit. Une chaleur désagréable due
au frottement. pourrait apparaître.
6) Lorsque vous avez terminé le traitement, poussez
le commutateur marche/arrêt vers le bas.
7) Éliminez les pellicules mortes et la poussière de
l'embout émeri / et de l'appareil à l'aide
du pinceau de nettoyage livré.
8) Remettez en place la coiffe de protection .
REMARQUE
► Suite au traitement, frictionnez la peau avec une
crème de soin.

Nettoyage et entretien
ATTENTION - RISQUE DE DOMMAGES
MATÉRIELS
► Évitez d'utiliser des produits de nettoyage
chimiques, agressifs ou abrasifs, car ils
attaquent les surfaces.
► N'immergez jamais l'appareil et l'embout
émeri / dans de l'eau ou dans d'autres
liquides.
♦ Nettoyez l'appareil, en particulier les em-
bouts émeri /, après chaque utilisation
avec le pinceau .
♦ Nettoyez l'appareil et les embouts émeri /
avec un chiffon humide. Veillez à ce qu'il
n'y ait pas d'eau ou de liquide qui pénètre
dans l'appareil. Séchez bien le tout.
♦ Nous recommandons pour des raisons d'hy-
giène d'humecter les embouts avec un chiffon
imbibé de produit désinfectant ou de les
nettoyer à la brosse après chaque utilisation.

♦ Rangez l'appareil dans un endroit sec et sans
poussières.

Mise au rebut
Mise au rebut de l'appareil
Ne jetez en aucun cas l'appareil
avec les ordures ménagères.
Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2012/19/EUDEEE (déchets d'équipements

Éliminez l'appareil par l'intermédiaire d'une entreprise de traitement des déchets autorisée ou via le
service de recyclage de votre commune. Respectez la
réglementation en vigueur. En cas de doute, veuillez
contacter votre centre de recyclage.
Mise au rebut des piles/batteries
Ne pas jeter les piles/accus avec les ordures
ménagères. Chaque consommateur est
légalement tenu de remettre les piles/accus
à un point de collecte de sa commune/son
quartier ou dans le commerce. Cette obligation a pour objectif d'assurer le traitement
écologique des piles et accus. Ne jeter que
des piles/batteries à l'état déchargé.
Recycler l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages
éventuels au cours du transport. Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de
respect de l'environnement et de recyclage permettant
une élimination écologique de ceux-ci.

AVVERTENZE RELATIVE ALL'USO
DELLE PILE
Rimuovere le pile in caso di inutilizzo

prolungato dell'apparecchio, esse
infatti si scaricano e potrebbero
deteriorarsi.
► In presenza di fuoriuscita di acidi
dalle pile: indossare guanti di protezione e pulire il vano pile con un
panno asciutto.
► Utilizzare sempre esclusivamente
pile nuove del tipo indicato alla
voce Dati tecnici.
► Non gettare le pile nel fuoco. Non
cortocircuitare le pile. Non tentare
di ricaricare le pile. Sussiste il pericolo di esplosione!
► Tenere le pile fuori dalla portata dei
bambini. I bambini potrebbero metterle in bocca e ingoiarle. In caso
di ingestione di una pila, consultare
immediatamente un medico. Pericolo
di morte!

Generalità
La callosità si forma nei punti in cui la pelle è particolarmente esposta a carichi per attrito e pressione.
Se la callosità si ispessisce troppo, per es. per via di
scarpe che non calzano bene o di pelle molto secca,
è probabile che procuri dolore.
Si consiglia di chiarire con il medico la causa dell'eccessiva callosità.

Funzionamento
Inserimento/sostituzione delle pile
1) Aprire il vano pile premendo leggermente
verso il basso il coperchio del vano pile sul punto
scanalato e spingere contemporaneamente il
coperchio del vano pile verso il basso.
2) Rimuovere, se inserite, le pile scariche.
3) Inserire le pile nuove badando alla polarità
indicata nel vano pile . Utilizzare solo batterie
del tipo 1,5 V, AA, LR6.
4) Ricollocare il coperchio del vano pile sul vano
pile avendo cura che si posizioni saldamente.
Inserimento/sostituzione dell'accessorio
per levigatura
AVVERTENZA
► Per ordinare nuovi accessori per levigatura
/ si prega di rivolgersi al servizio di
assistenza clienti (vedi capitolo “Assistenza”).
Tenere a portata di mano il numero IAN (vedi
copertina delle istruzioni per l’uso).
Per rimuovere un accessorio per levigatura /:
1) Premere il dispositivo di sblocco verso il basso
e tirare contemporaneamente il lato dell'accessorio per levigatura / che si trova accanto al
dispositivo di sblocco verso l'alto.
2) Ora si può sfilare l'accessorio per levigatura
/ dall'albero motore .

Per montare un accessorio per levigatura /
(vedi illustrazione 1):
1) Infilare l'accessorio per levigatura / con la
sede dell'albero motore sull'albero motore .
2) Premere l'altro lato dell'accessorio per levigatura
/ verso il basso. Badare che il blocco
scorra correttamente nella guida e si innesti in
posizione.

Impiego
AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI LESIONI
► In caso di trattamento troppo lungo e intenso, si
potrebbero ferire strati della pelle più profondi.
Pertanto controllare costantemente i risultati del
trattamento. In particolare le mani e i piedi dei
diabetici sono meno sensibili.
AVVERTENZA
► Se la pelle è ammorbidita dall'acqua l'appa-
recchio ha un effetto solo limitato. Pertanto non
pretrattare la pelle immergendola nell'acqua
prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio.
► Interrompere subito il trattamento se si prova una
sensazione spiacevole o si percepisce dolore.

1) Togliere il cappuccio di protezione dall'appa-
recchio.
2) Selezionare l'accessorio per levigatura desiderato /:
– accessorio per levigatura grossolana
(colore grigio): in caso di forte callosità
– accessorio per levigatura fine (colore
rosso): in caso di callosità meno forte e
per lisciare la callosità.
3) Installare l'accessorio per levigatura /
come descritto al capitolo "Funzionamento".
4) Premere il tasto di sicurezza integrato nell'interruttore ON/OFF e spingere contemporaneamente l'interruttore ON/OFF verso
l'alto. L'accessorio per levigatura / inizia a
ruotare.
5) Ora avanzare lentamente, esercitando una leggera pressione, lungo la callosità che si intende
rimuovere. Durante tale operazione muovere
l'apparecchio in diverse direzioni. Nel trattamento non rimanere a lungo sullo stesso punto.
In seguito all'attrito si potrebbe sviluppare un
fastidioso calore.
6) Una volta terminato il trattamento, spingere
l'interruttore ON/OFF verso il basso.
7) Rimuovere le squame delle palle e la polvere
dall'accessorio per levigatura / e dall'impugnatura con l'ausilio del pennello per la pulizia .
8) Applicare il cappuccio di protezione .
AVVERTENZA
► Dopo il trattamento applicare sulla pelle una
crema curativa.

Pulizia e manutenzione
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI
► Non utilizzare detergenti chimici, aggressivi o
abrasivi. Essi attaccano la superficie.
► Non immergere mai l'apparecchio o l'accessorio
per la levigatura / in acqua o altri liquidi.
♦ Pulire l'apparecchio, in particolare gli acces-
sori per la levigatura /, con il pennello
per la pulizia dopo ogni utilizzo.
♦ Pulire l'apparecchio e gli accessori per la
pulizia / con un panno umido. Fare
attenzione a impedire la penetrazione di
acqua o umidità nell'apparecchio. Asciugare
tutto accuratamente.
♦ Per ragioni d'igiene consigliamo di pulire gli
accessori dopo ogni utilizzo con una spazzola o un panno inumidito di disinfettante.
Asciugare tutto accuratamente.

Smaltimento
Smaltimento dell'apparecchio
Non gettare per alcun motivo
l'apparecchio insieme ai normali
rifiuti domestici. Questo prodotto
è soggetto alla Direttiva europea

apparecchiature elettriche ed
elettroniche).
Far smaltire l'apparecchio da un'azienda di smaltimento
autorizzata o dall'ente di smaltimento comunale.
Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso di
dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento
competente.
Smaltimento batterie/pile
È vietato smaltire pile/batterie assieme ai
rifiuti domestici . Ogni utente è obbligato per
legge a portare le pile/batterie presso un
centro di raccolta del proprio comune/quartiere o a restituirle al rivenditore. Questo obbligo è finalizzato allo smaltimento ecologico
delle pile e/o delle batterie. Restituire le pile/
le batterie solo se scariche.
Smaltimento dell'imballaggio
L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio da danni di
trasporto. I materiali di imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle caratteristiche di smaltimento e pertanto sono riciclabili.

casi contemplati dalla garanzia, mettersi in contatto
telefonicamente con il centro di assistenza più vicino.
Solo in tal modo è possibile garantire una spedizione
gratuita della merce.

Safety

INFORMATION ON USING BATTERIES
If you do not intend to use the
►
appli ance for an extended period,
remove the batteries – batteries can
discharge themselves and then leak.
► If the batteries leak: Put on protec-
tive gloves and clean the battery
compartment with a dry cloth.
► Use ONLY the type of battery
detailed in the Technical Data as
replacements for discharged batteries.
► Do not throw the batteries into the
fire. Do not short-circuit the batteries. Do not attempt to recharge the
batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
► Keep batteries away from small
children. Infants can put batteries
into their mouths and swallow them.
If a battery is swallowed, seek
medical assistance IMMEDIATELY.
There is a risk of fatal injury!

General
Hard skin (calluses) can form where the skin is exposed
to particular stress due to rubbing and pressure.
If the hard skin becomes too thick, e.g. due to ill-fitting
shoes or very dry skin, this can lead to pain.
If necessary, clarify the cause of excessive callus
formation with your doctor.

Operation
Inserting/replacing the batteries
1) Open the battery compartment by pressing
down on the grooved part of the battery compartment cover and pushing the battery compartment cover downwards.
2) Remove the old batteries if inserted.
3) Insert new batteries as shown in the polarity
diagram in the battery compartment .
Always use 1.5 V AA/LR6 batteries.
4) Push the battery compartment cover back onto
the battery compartment until it clicks into place.
Fitting/replacing the pumice attachment
NOTE
► To order new pumice attachments /, con-
tact our Service team (see section “Service”).
Please ensure that you have the IAN number to
hand (see cover of the operating instructions).
To remove a pumice attachment /:
1) Press the release downwards and, at the
same time, pull the side of the pumice attachment / next to the release upwards.
2) You can then pull the pumice attachment /
off the drive shaft .

To fit a pumice attachment / (see fig. 1):
1) Push the pumice attachment / with the drive
shaft support onto the drive shaft .
2) Press the other side of the pumice attachment /
downwards. Ensure that the catch slides
correctly into the groove and clicks into place.

WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► Excessively long or intensive treatment can also
injure deeper layers of skin. Therefore, check
the treatment progress and results regularly.
Diabetics in particular are less sensitive on their
hands and feet.
NOTE
► The appliance will not be so effective on
softened skin. Therefore, do not carry out any
pretreatment in a water bath before using the
appliance.
► Stop treatment IMMEDIATELY if it becomes
uncomfortable or painful.

1) Remove the protective cap from the appliance.
2) Select the desired pumice attachment /:
– coarse pumice attachment (grey):
for particularly thick calluses
– fine pumice attachment (red):
for mild calluses and to smooth the skin.
3) Fit the pumice attachment / as described
in the section "Operation".
4) Press the integrated safety button in the On/Off
switch and, at the same time, push the On/Off
switch upwards. The pumice attachment /
starts to turn.
5) Applying light pressure, move the appliance
slowly over the hard skin that you want to remove.
Move the appliance in different directions. During the treatment, do not linger in one particular
place. The friction can cause unpleasant heat.
6) When you have finished the treatment, push the
On/Off switch downwards.
7) Remove any skin residue and dust from the pumice
attachment / and the hand element using
the supplied cleaning brush .
8) Replace the protective cap .
NOTE
► After the treatment, massage the skin with a
skincare cream.

Cleaning and care
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE
► Do not use chemical, aggressive or abrasive
cleaning agents. These can damage the surface
of the appliance.
► Do not submerse the appliance or the pumice
attachments / in water or other liquids.
♦ Clean the appliance, especially the pumice
attachments /, after every use with the
cleaning brush .
♦ Clean the appliance and the pumice attach-
ments / with a moist cloth. Ensure that
no water or moisture can penetrate the appliance. Dry everything properly.
♦ For hygienic reasons, we recommend clean-
ing the attachments with a clean cloth or
brush moistened with a disinfectant after
every use. Dry everything properly.
Storage
♦ Store the appliance in a dry and clean location.

Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
Do not dispose of the appliance
in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of the European WEEE
(Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment) Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste
disposal company or your municipal waste disposal
facility. Please comply with all applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are
in any doubt.
Disposal of (rechargeable) batteries
Used batteries may not be disposed of in
the household waste. Consumers are legally
obliged to dispose of (rechargeable) batteries at a collection point in their community/
city district or at a retail store. The purpose
of this requirement is to ensure that batteries
are disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner. Only dispose of batteries when they
are fully discharged.
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage
during transport. The packaging materials have been
selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging into the material
cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste generated.
Dispose of packaging materials that are
no longer needed in accordance with
applicable local regulations.

NOTE
► If possible, keep the appliance's original packag-
ing during the warranty period so that the appliance can be packed properly for return shipment
in the event of a warranty claim.
Warranty
This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty
valid from the date of purchase. The appliance has
been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In
the event of a warranty claim, please contact your
Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only
way to guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
► The warranty only covers claims for material
and manufacturing defects, not for transport
damage, worn parts or damage to fragile
components such as buttons or rechargeable
batteries.
This appliance is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications/repairs which
have not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components.
Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking,
but no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period
shall be subject to charge.
