Introducción
Felicidades por la compra de su aparato nuevo.
Ha adquirido un producto de alta calidad. Las
instrucciones de uso forman parte del producto y
contienen indicaciones importantes acerca de la
seguridad, del uso y del desecho de este aparato.
Antes de usar el producto, familiarícese con todas
las indicaciones de manejo y de seguridad. Utilice
el producto únicamente como se describe y para los
ámbitos de aplicación indicados. Entregue todos
los documentos cuando transfi era el producto a
terceros.
Uso previsto
La plancha de vapor está prevista exclusivamente
para el planchado de ropa. Solo debe utilizarse en
locales cerrados y para el uso doméstico privado.
Cualquier uso distinto se considera contrario al uso
previsto. No utilice el aparato con fi nes comerciales.

Indicaciones de seguridad
¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
► La tensión de la fuente de alimentación debe coincidir con las indica-
ciones que aparecen en la placa de características.
► Para evitar peligros, encomiende la reparación del aparato al perso-
nal cualifi cado en caso de avería o diríjase al servicio de asistencia
técnica.
► Si la clavija de red o el cable de red están dañados, encomiende su
sustitución al personal técnico autorizado o al servicio de asistencia
técnica para evitar riesgos.
► Tire siempre de la clavija de red, nunca del cable.
► No doble o aplaste el cable de red y colóquelo de modo que no
pueda entrar en contacto con superfi cies calientes y que nadie pueda
pisarlo ni tropezar con él.
► Retire la clavija de red antes de la limpieza, del llenado con agua
corriente y después de cada uso.
► Desenrolle el cable por completo antes de conectarlo y no utilice
prolongaciones de cable.
► No toque nunca la clavija de red o el cable con las manos húmedas.
► No utilice la plancha de vapor en la proximidad de agua, como la
que se encuentra en bañeras, duchas, lavabos o cualquier otro recipiente. La proximidad de agua supone un riesgo aunque el aparato
esté desconectado.
► No sumerja nunca la plancha de vapor en un líquido ni deje que
ningún líquido penetre en la carcasa de la plancha. El aparato no
debe estar expuesto a la humedad ni utilizarse a la intemperie. Si,
por cualquier motivo, penetrase líquido en la carcasa del aparato,
extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe y entregue el aparato
al personal especializado cualifi cado para su reparación.

► No abra la carcasa de la plancha de vapor. Si la plancha de vapor
está defectuosa, encargue su reparación exclusivamente al personal
especializado cualifi cado.
► No utilice nunca la plancha de vapor si se aprecian daños visibles,
se ha caído o pierde agua. Encargue su reparación al personal
especializado cualifi cado.
► ¡No continúe utilizando el aparato si la protección contra dobleces
está dañada!
► Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños a partir de 8 años y por
personas cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales sean reducidas o carezcan de los conocimientos y de la experiencia necesaria
siempre que sean vigilados o hayan sido instruidos correctamente
sobre el uso seguro del aparato y hayan comprendido los peligros
que entraña. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. Los niños no
deben realizar las tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento sin estar bajo
supervisión.

► Sujete la plancha de vapor exclusivamente por el asa cuando esté
caliente.
► Vigile a los niños para asegurarse de que no jueguen con el aparato.
► No ponga nunca las manos bajo el chorro de vapor o sobre las
piezas metálicas calientes.
► Durante el uso, no debe abrir el orifi cio de llenado del depósito de
agua. Deje enfriar la plancha de vapor y extraiga la clavija de red
de la base de enchufe.
► Durante el período de conexión o enfriado, tanto la plancha de vapor
como su cable de conexión deben encontrarse fuera del alcance de
los niños menores de 8 años.

► La plancha de vapor no debe dejarse nunca sin vigilancia mientras
esté conectada a la red eléctrica.

¡ATENCIÓN! ¡DAÑOS MATERIALES!
► No deje nunca la plancha de vapor desatendida mientras esté
conectada a la red eléctrica, caliente o encendida.
► Guarde la plancha de vapor únicamente en estado frío.
► La plancha de vapor debe usarse y colocarse sobre una superfi cie
estable.
► Planche exclusivamente conforme a las temperaturas expuestas en
las indicaciones de cuidado de las prendas de ropa y a las apropiadas para el material. De lo contrario, podría dañar las prendas.
Si desconoce las indicaciones de cuidado de las prendas de ropa,
comience con la temperatura más baja.
► Coloque la plancha de vapor sobre una superfi cie plana y resistente
al calor. La plancha de vapor debe estar siempre en una posición
estable.
► Si desea posar la plancha de vapor, colóquela exclusivamente sobre
la base.
► Si las indicaciones de cuidado de la prenda de ropa prohíben el
planchado (símbolo ), no debe plancharse dicha prenda. De lo
contrario, podría dañarse.
► En el depósito de agua, solo debe introducirse agua corriente/agua
destilada. De lo contrario, la plancha de vapor podría dañarse.
► No debe limpiarse la plancha de vapor con disolventes, alcohol ni
productos de limpieza abrasivos. De lo contrario, podría dañarse.

Antes del primer uso
1) Extraiga la plancha de vapor del embalaje.
2) Retire todos los adhesivos y las láminas de la
plancha y de la suela 9.
ADVERTENCIA: ¡PELIGRO DE
ASFIXIA!
Las bolsas de plástico pueden suponer un peligro. Para evitar el peligro de asfi xia, guarde las
bolsas de plástico fuera del alcance de bebés y
de niños pequeños.
3) Llene el depósito de agua con agua (consulte
el capítulo "Llenado del depósito de agua").
4) Introduzca la clavija de red en una base de
enchufe con la tensión indicada en la placa
de características.
5) Para encender la plancha de vapor y ajustar
la temperatura, pulse repetidamente la tecla
TEMP
en la pantalla 1.
6) Caliente la plancha de vapor durante algunos
minutos en el nivel superior.
7) Pulse la tecla de chorro de vapor 5 varias
veces para que el vapor salga de la suela de
la plancha 9.
8) A continuación, planche un trozo de tela que
ya no necesite para eliminar las posibles
impurezas de la suela de planchado 9.
9) Pulse repetidamente la tecla
que aparezca Standby en rojo en la pantalla 1.
10) Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de
enchufe.

Desconexión automática
Esta plancha de vapor dispone de una función de
desconexión automática que detiene el calentamiento de la plancha de vapor.
Si la plancha de vapor está posada sobre la suela 9
y no se mueve durante aprox. 30 segundos, se
emiten 6 señales acústicas, aparece "PAUSE" y la
pantalla 1 se ilumina en rojo. Con esto se detiene
el calentamiento de la plancha de vapor.
Para desactivar la desconexión automática, eleve
la plancha de vapor y muévala ligeramente de un
lado a otro.
La pantalla 1 se iluminará en azul, se mostrará el
nivel de temperatura ajustado anteriormente y la
plancha de vapor volverá a calentarse.
Si la plancha de vapor está posada sobre la base 7
y no se mueve durante aprox. 8 minutos, se emiten
6 señales acústicas, aparece "PAUSE" y la pantalla 1
se ilumina en rojo. Con esto se detiene el calentamiento de la plancha de vapor.
Para desactivar la desconexión automática, eleve
la plancha de vapor y muévala ligeramente de un
lado a otro.
La pantalla 1 se iluminará en azul, se mostrará el
nivel de temperatura ajustado anteriormente y la
plancha de vapor volverá a calentarse.
INDICACIÓN
¡La desconexión automática no sustituye a la
extracción de la clavija de red!
Solo protege al aparato frente a un sobrecalentamiento y evita un consumo energético innecesario.
No obstante, no constituye ninguna protección
frente a incendios si, p. ej., se posa la plancha
de vapor sobre la ropa.

Llenado del depósito de agua
1) Coloque la plancha de vapor sobre la base 7.
2) Abra la tapa del orifi cio de llenado del depósito
de agua q.
3) Con el vaso medidor w, introduzca agua corriente en el depósito de agua como máximo
hasta la marca "MAX".
4) Cierre la tapa del orifi cio de llenado del depósito de agua q.
INDICACIÓN
Si el agua corriente de su lugar de residencia es
muy dura, es recomendable mezclarla con agua
destilada. De lo contrario, podrían formarse
prematuramente restos de cal en las boquillas
del chorro de vapor.
Para mantener la función de chorro de vapor
en perfecto estado durante más tiempo, mezcle
el agua corriente con agua destilada según lo
dispuesto en la tabla.

INDICACIÓN
Puede plancharse en seco sin vapor con todas
las temperaturas y puede plancharse con vapor
a partir del nivel de temperatura 8 (
adicionalmente en la pantalla 1).

Se emite una señal acústica y en la pantalla 1
aparece "Standby" en rojo.

puede humedecerla con ayuda de la función de
rociado. Para humedecer la ropa, pulse la tecla
de la función de rociado 4.

Debe ajustarse, como mínimo, el nivel de temperatura 8. De lo contrario, no puede generarse
vapor.

■ Ajuste la intensidad de vapor deseada con el
regulador de vapor 8:
– Para producir más vapor, gire el regulador
de vapor 8 en dirección
– Para producir menos vapor, gire el regula-
dor de vapor 8 en dirección
– No obstante, no debe girarse el regulador
de vapor 8 más allá de la marca
lo contrario, pasará a la función de autolimpieza/SelfClean (véase capítulo "Función
de autolimpieza").
■ En cuanto mantenga la plancha de vapor en
posición horizontal, saldrá el vapor por la
suela 9.

Planchado con chorro de vapor
El chorro de vapor está especialmente indicado
para alisar las zonas de difícil acceso de las
prendas.
1) Eleve ligeramente la plancha de vapor.
2) Para liberar un chorro de vapor, pulse la tecla
de chorro de vapor 5.
Con el chorro de vapor, también pueden plancharse
los materiales textiles que estén colgados.
Mantenga la plancha de vapor en
posición vertical y pulse la tecla de
chorro de vapor 5.

ATENCIÓN: ¡RIESGO DE INCENDIO!
No deje nunca la plancha de vapor desatendida mientras esté conectada a la red eléctrica,
caliente o encendida.

pulsada la tecla TEMP

en rojo.

Desconexión de la plancha de vapor
1) Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de
enchufe.
2) Vacíe el depósito de agua y limpie la suela 9.
3) Coloque la plancha de vapor fría sobre la
base 7.
Sistema antigoteo
Con las planchas de vapor convencionales, es
posible que se produzca un goteo de agua por la
suela 9 si la temperatura de planchado es demasiado baja. No obstante, esta plancha de vapor
dispone de una característica especial: el sistema
antigoteo ( ). Con temperaturas bajas,
la plancha de vapor detiene automáticamente el
chorro de vapor. Cuando esto sucede se puede oír
un "clic". Tras esto, debe ajustarse la temperatura
adecuada y, en cuanto se haya alcanzado este
valor, volverá a generarse vapor.
Limpieza
Función de autolimpieza
1) Llene el depósito de agua hasta la marca
MAX.
2) Conecte la clavija de red a la base de enchufe.
3) Para encender la plancha de vapor y ajustar
la temperatura, pulse repetidamente la tecla
TEMP
en la pantalla 1.
4) Gire el regulador de vapor 8 hasta que
marque "SELFCLEAN" y manténgalo en esta
posición. Por motivos de seguridad, el regulador de vapor 8 no encaja en esta posición
ya que, de lo contrario, gotearía agua de la
suela 9.
5) Mantenga elevada la plancha de vapor en
posición horizontal sobre un recipiente.

Una vez alcanzada la temperatura apropiada, el
vapor y el agua hirviendo saldrán por los orifi cios
de salida de vapor de la suela 9. Con este proceso
se expulsan las impurezas que puedan haberse
acumulado.
6) En el momento en que ya no salga agua/
vapor por la suela, coloque el regulador de
vapor 8 en la posición
cha sobre una toalla o un trozo de tela vieja y
muévala de un lado a otro para que la suela 9
se seque.
7) Pulse repetidamente la tecla TEMP 2 hasta
que se emita una señal acústica y aparezca
Standby en rojo en la pantalla 1.
8) Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de
enchufe.
9) Deje que la plancha de vapor se enfríe antes
de retirarla.

¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
► Antes de limpiar el aparato, extraiga siempre
la clavija de red de la base de enchufe.
► ¡No abra la carcasa del aparato bajo
ninguna circunstancia! De lo contrario, existe
peligro de muerte por descarga eléctrica.
Almacenamiento
■ Vacíe el agua que quede en el depósito de
agua.
■ Guarde el aparato ya frío en un lugar limpio,
seco y sin polvo.
Desecho
No deseche nunca el aparato
con la basura doméstica. Este
aparato está sujeto a la Directiva europea 2012/19/EU.
Deseche el aparato en un centro de residuos autorizado o a través de las instalaciones municipales
de desecho de residuos. Observe las normas
vigentes. En caso de duda, póngase en contacto
con las instalaciones municipales de desecho de
residuos.
El embalaje consta de materiales ecoló-
gicos que pueden desecharse a través
de los centros de reciclaje locales.

► Antes de la limpieza, deberá dejar que se
enfríe el aparato. En caso contrario, existe
riesgo de quemaduras.

No utilice disolventes ni productos abrasivos,

aparato.
► No use productos de limpieza agresivos,
químicos ni abrasivos, ya que podrían dañar
la superfi cie de forma irreparable.
■ Limpie la carcasa exclusivamente con un paño
suave y seco.

Este aparato cuenta con una garantía de 3 años a
partir de la fecha de compra. Si se detectan defectos
en el producto, puede ejercer sus derechos legales
frente al vendedor. Estos derechos legales no se ven
limitados por la garantía descrita a continuación.
Condiciones de la garantía
El plazo de la garantía comienza con la fecha de
compra. Guarde bien el comprobante de caja

Si dentro de un periodo de tres años a partir de la
fecha de compra de este producto se detecta un
defecto en su material o un error de fabricación,
asumiremos la reparación o sustitución gratuita del
producto a nuestra elección. La prestación de la
garantía requiere la presentación del aparato defectuoso y del comprobante de caja, así como una
breve descripción por escrito del defecto detectado
y de las circunstancias en las que se haya producido dicho defecto, dentro del plazo de tres años.
Si el defecto está cubierto por nuestra garantía, le
devolveremos el producto reparado o le suministraremos uno nuevo. La reparación o sustitución del
producto no supone el inicio de un nuevo periodo
de garantía.
Alcance de la garantía
El aparato se ha fabricado cuidadosamente según
estándares elevados de calidad y se ha examinado
en profundidad antes de su entrega.
La prestación de la garantía solo rige para defectos
en los materiales o errores de fabricación. Esta
garantía no cubre las piezas del producto normalmente sometidas al desgaste y que, en consecuencia,
puedan considerarse piezas de desgaste ni los
daños producidos en los componentes frágiles,
p. ej., interruptores, baterías, moldes de horno o
piezas de vidrio.
Se anulará la garantía si el producto se daña o no
se utiliza o mantiene correctamente. Para utilizar
correctamente el producto, deben observarse todas
las indicaciones especifi cadas en las instrucciones
de uso. Debe evitarse cualquier uso y manejo que
esté desaconsejado o frente al que se advierta en
las instrucciones de uso.
El producto está previsto exclusivamente para su
uso privado y no para su uso comercial. En caso
de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de la
fuerza y apertura del aparato por personas ajenas
a nuestros centros de asistencia técnica autorizados,
la garantía perderá su validez.
Duración de la garantía y reclamaciones
legales por vicios
La duración de la garantía no se prolonga por
hacer uso de ella. Este principio también se aplica
a las piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Si después
de la compra del aparato, se detecta la existencia
de daños o de defectos al desembalarlo, deben
notifi carse de inmediato. Cualquier reparación que
se realice una vez fi nalizado el plazo de garantía
estará sujeta a costes.

Proceso de reclamación conforme a la
garantía
Para garantizar una tramitación rápida de su reclamación, le rogamos que observe las siguientes
indicaciones:
■ Mantenga siempre a mano el comprobante
de caja y el número de artículo (p. ej., IAN
12345) como justifi cante de compra.
■ Podrá ver el número de artículo en la placa
de características, grabado en el aparato, en
la portada de las instrucciones (parte inferior
izquierda) o en un adhesivo en la parte trasera
o inferior del aparato.
■ Si se producen errores de funcionamiento u
otros defectos, póngase primero en contacto
con el departamento de asistencia técnica
especifi cado a continuación por teléfono o
por correo electrónico.
■ Podrá enviar el producto califi cado como
defectuoso junto con el justifi cante de compra
(comprobante de caja) y la descripción del
defecto y de las circunstancias en las que se
haya producido de forma gratuita a la dirección
de correo proporcionada.

apparecchio.
Ha scelto un prodotto di alta qualità. Il manuale di
istruzioni è parte integrante del presente prodotto
e contiene importanti indicazioni per la sicurezza,
l'uso e lo smaltimento. Prima di utilizzare il prodotto,
acquisire dimestichezza con tutte le indicazioni
relative ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzare il
prodotto solo come descritto e per i campi d'impiego
indicati. In caso di cessione del prodotto a terzi,
consegnare anche tutta la relativa documentazione.
Uso conforme
Il ferro da stiro a vapore è destinato esclusivamente
alla stiratura di capi di abbigliamento. È possibile
impiegarlo esclusivamente in ambienti chiusi e per
l'uso domestico privato. Qualsiasi altro impiego è
considerato non conforme. Non utilizzarlo a fi ni
commerciali.

Indicazioni relative alla sicurezza
PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE!
► La tensione della sorgente di alimentazione deve coincidere con i
dati riportati sulla targhetta dell'apparecchio.
► Fare riparare tempestivamente un apparecchio guasto da un'offi cina
qualifi cata oppure rivolgersi al Servizio Assistenza Clienti, per evitare
situazioni di pericolo.
► Al fi ne di evitare pericoli, fare sostituire immediatamente spine o cavi
danneggiati da personale specializzato autorizzato o dal centro di
assistenza clienti.
► Per interrompere l'alimentazione, tirare sempre la spina e non il cavo
di rete.
► Non piegare o schiacciare il cavo di rete e disporlo in modo tale da
non consentire un contatto con superfi ci calde e che nessuno possa
calpestarlo o inciamparvi sopra.
► Staccare la spina prima della pulizia, prima di riempire il ferro da
stiro con acqua e dopo ogni utilizzo.
► Srotolare sempre completamente il cavo di rete prima di accendere
l'apparecchio e non impiegare prolunghe.
► Non toccare mai il cavo di rete o la spina a mani umide.
► Non è assolutamente consentito utilizzare il ferro da stiro a vapore
nelle vicinanze di acqua contenuta in vasche da bagno, docce,
lavandini o altri recipienti. La vicinanza all'acqua rappresenta un
pericolo anche con apparecchio spento.
► Non immergere per alcun motivo il ferro da stiro a vapore in alcun
liquido ed evitare infi ltrazioni di liquidi all'interno dell'alloggiamento
dell'apparecchio. Non esporre l'apparecchio all'umidità e non utilizzarlo all'aperto. In caso di infi ltrazioni di liquidi nell'alloggiamento
dell'apparecchio, disinserire subito la spina dalla presa e fare riparare
l'apparecchio da personale specializzato qualifi cato.

PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE!
► È vietato aprire l'alloggiamento del ferro da stiro a vapore. Fare ripa-
rare l'apparecchio guasto solo da personale qualifi cato autorizzato.
► Non utilizzare mai il ferro da stiro a vapore se presenta danni visibili,
se è caduto oppure fuoriesce acqua. Farlo riparare da personale
qualifi cato autorizzato.
► Non continuare a utilizzare l'apparecchio in caso di danni alla prote-
zione antipiega del cavo di rete!
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini di almeno
8 anni di età e da persone con capacità fi siche, sensoriali o mentali
ridotte o insuffi ciente esperienza o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliati
o istruiti sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli associati. I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio. La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura dell'utente non devono
essere eseguiti dai bambini se non sorvegliati.
AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Prendere il ferro da stiro a vapore soltanto dall'impugnatura quando
è molto caldo.
► Sorvegliare i bambini per assicurarsi che non giochino con l'appa-
recchio.
► Non posizionare mai le mani sotto il getto del vapore o su parti in
metallo incandescenti.
► Durante il funzionamento non è consentito aprire l'apertura di rab-
bocco del serbatoio dell'acqua. Lasciare prima raff reddare il ferro
da stiro a vapore e staccare la spina dalla presa di rete.
► Il ferro da stiro a vapore e il relativo cavo di connessione devono
trovarsi fuori dalla portata di bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni
durante l'accensione o il raff reddamento.

AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Il ferro da stiro non deve essere lasciato incustodito mentre è allacciato
alla rete elettrica.
Attenzione! Superfi cie rovente!
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non lasciare mai incustodito il ferro da stiro a vapore quando è
bollente, collegato alla rete elettrica o acceso.
► Conservare il ferro da stiro solo quando è freddo.
► Il ferro da stiro a vapore dev'essere utilizzato e collocato su una
superfi cie stabile.
► Stirare solo con le impostazioni della temperatura indicate nelle
istruzioni per la cura e adatte per il materiale da stirare, altrimenti la
biancheria potrebbe danneggiarsi. Qualora non si fosse a conoscenza
delle istruzioni per la cura, iniziare con la temperatura impostata sul
valore più basso.
► Collocare il ferro da stiro a vapore solo su una superfi cie piana e
insensibile al calore. Il ferro da stiro a vapore deve essere in posizione
stabile.
► Se si desidera appoggiare il ferro da stiro a vapore, collocarlo solo
sulla base.
► Nel caso in cui le avvertenze per la cura all'interno del capo di abbiglia-
mento vietassero la stiratura (simbolo ), non è consentito stirare
il capo. In caso contrario, esso potrebbe danneggiarsi.
► Si può versare nel serbatoio dell'acqua esclusivamente acqua corrente/
acqua distillata. In caso contrario si danneggia il ferro da stiro.
► Non è consentito lavare il ferro da stiro a vapore con solventi, alcool
o detergenti abrasivi. In caso contrario, esso subirà danni.

Prima del primo impiego
1) Estrarre il ferro da stiro a vapore dalla confezione.
2) Rimuovere tutti gli adesivi e i pezzi di pellicola
dal ferro da stiro a vapore e dalla piastra di
stiratura 9.
AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI
SOFFOCAMENTO!
Le buste di plastica possono rappresentare un
pericolo. Ai fi ni di evitare il pericolo di soff ocamento conservare le borse di plastica fuori dalla
portata di neonati e bambini.
3) Immettere acqua nel serbatoio dell'acqua (vedi
capitolo "Riempimento del serbatoio dell'acqua").
4) Inserire la spina in una presa che presenta la
tensione indicata sulla targhetta tipo.
5) Per accendere il ferro da stiro e regolare la
temperatura, premere ripetutamente il tasto
TEMP
compare 11/MAX.
6) Riscaldare il ferro da stiro a vapore per alcuni
minuti sul livello massimo di temperatura.
7) Premere alcune volte ripetutamente il tasto
getto di vapore 5 in modo tale che il vapore
fuoriesca dalla piastra 9.
8) Stirare prima un pezzo di stoff a inutilizzato
al fi ne di rimuovere eventuali impurità dalla
piastra di stiratura 9.
9) Premere il tasto
sul display 1 non compare la scritta rossa
"Standby".
10) Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.

Spegnimento automatico
Il ferro da stiro a vapore è dotato di un dispositivo
di disattivazione automatica che ferma il riscaldamento del ferro da stiro a vapore.
Se il ferro da stiro a vapore è appoggiato sulla
piastra 9 e non è stato spostato per circa 30
secondi, vengono emessi 6 segnali acustici di avvertimento, compare la scritta "PAUSE" e il display
1 si accende con colore rosso. Il riscaldamento
del ferro da stiro a vapore viene fermato.
Per interrompere lo stato di disattivazione automatica, sollevare il ferro da stiro a vapore e agitarlo
leggermente.
Il display 1 si accende con colore blu, viene visua-
lizzato il livello di temperatura precedentemente
impostato e il ferro da stiro a vapore si riscalda
di nuovo.
Se il ferro da stiro a vapore è appoggiato sulla
base 7 e non è stato spostato per ca. 8 minuti,
vengono emessi 6 segnali acustici di avvertimento,
compare la scritta "PAUSE" e il display 1 si accende
con colore rosso. Il riscaldamento del ferro da stiro
a vapore viene fermato.
Per interrompere lo stato di disattivazione automatica, sollevare il ferro da stiro a vapore e agitarlo
leggermente.
Il display 1 si accende con colore blu, viene vi-
sualizzato il livello di temperatura precedentemente
impostato e il ferro da stiro a vapore si riscalda di
nuovo.
NOTA
La disattivazione automatica non sostituisce
l'estrazione della spina dalla presa!
Questo dispositivo ha semplicemente la funzione
di proteggere l'apparecchio dal surriscaldamento
e di evitare superfl uo consumo di corrente
elettrica.
Non costituisce però una protezione dall'incendio, se per es. si lascia il ferro da stiro a vapore
bollente appoggiato sulla biancheria.

Riempimento del serbatoio
dell'acqua
1) Collocare il ferro da stiro a vapore sulla base 7.
2) Aprire il coperchietto dell'apertura di rabbocco
del serbatoio dell'acqua q.
3) Con il misurino w riempire il serbatoio di
acqua non oltre il contrassegno "MAX".
4) Chiudere il coperchietto dell'apertura di rabbocco del serbatoio dell'acqua q.
NOTA
Nel caso in cui l'acqua di rubinetto nella regione
in cui si risiede fosse troppo dura, si consiglia di
mescolare l'acqua di rubinetto con acqua distillata. Altrimenti gli ugelli per la funzione getto di
vapore potrebbero calcifi carsi precocemente.
Per prolungare in modo ottimale la funzione
getto di vapore, mescolare l'acqua di rubinetto
con acqua distillata seguendo le indicazioni
della tabella.

La stiratura asciutta senza vapore può venire
eff ettuata a tutte le temperature; la stiratura a

1) Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente. Viene
emesso un segnale acustico e sul display 1
compare la scritta rossa "Standby".
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
Nel caso in cui le avvertenze per la cura

all'interno del capo di abbigliamento vietassero la stiratura (
il capo. Altrimenti il capo di abbigliamento si
potrebbe danneggiare.
2) Controllare le avvertenze per la cura sull'etichetta interna del capo di abbigliamento, sulla
quale è indicato se e a quale temperatura è
consigliabile stirarlo.
3) Per accendere il ferro da stiro premere il tasto
TEMP
display 1 il livello di temperatura adeguato
(vedi capitolo "Signifi cato dell'indicazione
del display"). Con il tasto
passare da un livello di temperatura superiore
a un livello di temperatura inferiore.
Se sul display 1 l'indicazione del tipo di tessuto
cessa di lampeggiare e viene emesso un segnale
acustico, ciò signifi ca che la temperatura impostata
è stata raggiunta ed è dunque possibile procedere
con la stiratura.
NOTA
Qualora si debba stirare biancheria molto asciutta
e stropicciata, la si può inumidire con l'ausilio
della funzione spruzzo. Per inumidire la biancheria premere il tasto della funzione spruzzo 4.

NOTA
Deve essere impostato almeno il livello di temperatura 8. In caso contrario il ferro non può

Stiratura con getto di vapore
Il getto di vapore è adatto in particolare per lisciare
zone del tessuto diffi cilmente accessibili.
1) Sollevare leggermente il ferro da stiro a vapore.
2) Per generare un getto di vapore premere una
volta il tasto getto di vapore 5.
Con l'ausilio del getto di vapore si possono lisciare
anche stoff e appese.
Tenere il ferro da stiro in posizione
verticale e azionare il tasto per il getto
di vapore 5.

Sistema antisgocciolamento
Nei tradizionali ferri da stiro a vapore si può
verifi care che, ad una temperatura troppo ridotta,
sgoccioli acqua dalla piastra di stiratura 9. Que-
sto ferro da stiro a vapore presenta però una caratteristica di dotazione, il sistema antisgocciolamento
( ). In caso di basse temperature il ferro
da stiro a vapore arresta automaticamente il getto
di vapore. Quando la funzione si attiva, si avverte
un "clic". A questo punto impostare la temperatura
adeguata. Al raggiungimento della temperatura
appropriata, la produzione del vapore prosegue.

1) Riempire il serbatoio dell'acqua fi no al contrassegno MAX.
2) Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
3) Per accendere il ferro da stiro e regolare la
temperatura, premere ripetutamente il tasto
TEMP
compare 11/MAX.
4) Aprire il regolatore di vapore 8 fi nché non
indica "SELFCLEAN" e mantenerlo fermo in
questa posizione. Per motivi di sicurezza il
regolatore di vapore 8 non s'innesta in questa
posizione, altrimenti sgocciolerebbe costantemente acqua dalla piastra 9.
5) Tenere il ferro da stiro in posizione orizzontale
sopra una vaschetta di raccolta.
Una volta raggiunta la temperatura adeguata, dai
fori di fuoriuscita del vapore che si trovano sulla
piastra di stiratura 9 fuoriescono vapore e acqua
bollente. In tal modo le impurità eventualmente
presenti vengono sciacquate via.
6) Non appena cessa di uscire acqua / vapore
dalla piastra, portare il regolatore di vapore 8
sulla posizione
piastra 9, passare alcune volte col ferro su
un asciugamano o un vecchio pezzo di stoff a.
7) Premere più volte il tasto
quando non viene emesso un segnale acustico
e sul display 1 non compare la scritta rossa
"Standby".
8) Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
9) Fare raff reddare il ferro da stiro prima di
metterlo via.

Non gettare per alcun motivo
l'apparecchio insieme ai normali rifi uti domestici. Questo
prodotto è soggetto alla direttiva europea 2012/19/EU.
Far smaltire l'apparecchio da un'azienda di
smaltimento autorizzata o dall'ente di smaltimento
comunale. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore.
In caso di dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di
smaltimento competente.
L'imballaggio è composto da materiali
ecocompatibili che possono essere
smaltiti tramite gli appositi centri di

presentasse vizi, Le spettano diritti legali nei confronti
del venditore del prodotto. La garanzia qui di seguito
descritta non costituisce alcun limite a tali diritti
legali.
Condizioni di garanzia
Il periodo di garanzia decorre dalla data dell’acquisto. Si prega di conservare lo scontrino di cassa
originale. Tale documento è necessario come
prova di acquisto.
Qualora entro tre anni a partire dalla data
dell’acquisto di questo prodotto si presentasse un
vizio del materiale o di fabbricazione, provvederemo, a nostra discrezione, a riparare o a sostituire
gratuitamente il prodotto. Questa prestazione di
garanzia ha come presupposto che l’apparecchio
difettoso e la prova di acquisto (scontrino di cassa)
vengano presentati entro il termine di tre anni e
che si descriva per iscritto in cosa consiste il vizio e
quando si è presentato.
Se il vizio rientra nell’ambito della nostra garanzia,
il Suo prodotto verrà riparato o sostituito da uno
nuovo. Con la riparazione o la sostituzione del prodotto non decorre un nuovo periodo di garanzia.
Ambito della garanzia
L’apparecchio è stato prodotto con cura secondo
severe direttive qualitative e debitamente collaudato
prima della consegna.
La garanzia viene prestata in caso di vizi del
materiale o di fabbricazione. Questa garanzia non
si estende a componenti del prodotto che sono
esposti al normale logorio e possono pertanto essere
considerati come componenti soggetti a usura o a
danni che si verifi cano su componenti delicati, per
es. interruttori, batterie, stampi da forno o parti
realizzate in vetro.
Questa garanzia decade se il prodotto è stato
danneggiato oppure utilizzato o sottoposto a
interventi di manutenzione in modo non conforme.
Per un utilizzo adeguato del prodotto si devono
rigorosamente rispettare tutte le istruzioni esposte
nel manuale di istruzioni per l’uso. Si devono assolutamente evitare modalità di utilizzo e azioni che
il manuale di istruzioni per l’uso sconsiglia o da cui
esso mette in guardia.
Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso domestico e non a quello commerciale. La garanzia
decade in caso di impiego improprio o manomissione, uso della forza e interventi non eseguiti
dalla nostra fi liale di assistenza autorizzata.
Periodo di garanzia e diritti legali di
rivendicazione di vizi
Il periodo di garanzia non viene prolungato da
interventi in garanzia. Ciò vale anche per le parti
sostituite e riparate. Danni e vizi eventualmente già

produto. Este contém instruções importantes para
a segurança, utilização e eliminação. Antes de utilizar o produto, familiarize-se com todas as instruções de operação e segurança. Utilize o produto
apenas como descrito e nas áreas de aplicação
indicadas. Ao transferir o produto para terceiros,
entregue todos os respetivos documentos.
Utilização correta
O ferro de engomar a vapor destina-se exclusivamente a engomar vestuário. Este destina-se apenas
à utilização doméstica e em espaços fechados.
Quaisquer outras utilizações são consideradas
incorretas. Não o utilize para fi ns comerciais!

Instruções de segurança
PERIGO - CHOQUE ELÉTRICO!
► A tensão da fonte de alimentação tem de estar de acordo com as
indicações na placa de características do aparelho.
► Mande arranjar imediatamente o aparelho avariado numa loja
especializada ou dirija-se ao serviço de apoio ao cliente para evitar
perigos.
► Cabos ou fi chas danifi cados devem ser imediatamente substituídos
por técnicos autorizados ou pelo Serviço de Apoio ao Cliente, de
modo a evitar situações de perigo.
► Puxe sempre pela fi cha elétrica, nunca pelo cabo de alimentação.
► Não dobre nem esmague o cabo de alimentação e disponha-o de
modo a que não entre em contacto com superfícies quentes e não
se possa pisar ou tropeçar no mesmo.
► Antes da limpeza, durante o abastecimento com água canalizada
e após cada utilização, retire a fi cha da tomada.
► Desenrole sempre totalmente o cabo de alimentação antes da liga-
ção e não utilize extensões.
► Nunca toque no cabo ou na fi cha de alimentação com as mãos
húmidas.
► Nunca utilize o ferro de engomar a vapor na proximidade de água
em banheiras, duches, lavatórios ou outros recipientes. A proximidade
da água representa perigo, mesmo com o aparelho desligado.
► Nunca mergulhe o ferro de engomar a vapor em líquidos e nunca
deixe que se infi ltrem líquidos no respetivo corpo. Não exponha o
aparelho a humidade nem o utilize ao ar livre. No entanto, em caso
de infi ltração de líquido no corpo do aparelho, remova imediatamente
a fi cha da tomada e solicite a respetiva reparação por técnicos devidamente qualifi cados.

PERIGO - CHOQUE ELÉTRICO!
► O corpo do ferro de engomar a vapor não pode ser aberto. O ferro
de engomar a vapor avariado só deve ser reparado por técnicos
devidamente qualifi cados.
► Nunca utilize o ferro de engomar a vapor, caso este apresente danos
visíveis, tenha caído ou apresente uma fuga de água. Este deve ser
reparado por técnicos devidamente qualifi cados antes de o utilizar
novamente.
► Não continue a utilizar o aparelho, se a proteção contra dobras do
cabo de alimentação estiver danifi cada!
► Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por crianças com idades superiores
a 8 anos, bem como por pessoas com capacidades físicas, sensoriais
ou mentais reduzidas, ou com falta de experiência e/ou conhecimento,
caso sejam vigiadas ou instruídas sobre a utilização segura do aparelho e tenham compreendido os perigos daí resultantes. As crianças
não podem brincar com o aparelho. A limpeza e a manuten ção
do utilizador não podem ser realizadas por crianças não vigiadas.

► Quando o ferro de engomar a vapor está quente, agarre-o apenas
pela pega.
► As crianças devem ser vigiadas para garantir que não brincam com
o aparelho.
► Nunca coloque as suas mãos no jato de vapor ou nas peças metálicas
quentes.
► O orifício de abastecimento do depósito de água não pode ser aberto
durante a utilização. Deixe o ferro de engomar a vapor arrefecer
primeiro e retire a fi cha elétrica da tomada.
► O ferro de engomar a vapor e o respetivo cabo de ligação, enquanto
este se encontra ligado ou a arrefecer, devem ser mantidos fora do
alcance de crianças com idades inferiores a 8 anos.

► Não deixe o ferro de engomar a vapor ligado à tomada, sem
vigilância.
Cuidado! Superfície muito quente!
ATENÇÃO! DANOS MATERIAIS!
► Nunca deixe o ferro de engomar a vapor quente, em funcionamento
ou ligado à corrente sem vigilância.
► Guarde o ferro de engomar a vapor apenas quando estiver total-
mente frio.
► O ferro de engomar a vapor tem de ser utilizado e colocado numa
superfície estável.
► Engome apenas de acordo com as regulações de temperatura acon-
selhadas nas instruções de tratamento e adequadas ao material.
Caso contrário, poderá danifi car o vestuário. Caso não tenha conhecimento de qualquer instrução de tratamento, inicie o trabalho com a
regulação de temperatura mais baixa.
► Coloque o ferro de engomar a vapor sobre uma superfície plana e
resistente ao calor. O ferro de engomar a vapor tem de estar estável.
► Se desejar pousar o ferro de engomar a vapor, coloque-o apenas na
respetiva base.
► Se as instruções de tratamento do vestuário indicarem que este não
pode ser engomado (símbolo ), não deve engomar a peça de
vestuário. Caso contrário, poderá danifi car a peça de vestuário.
► Deve abastecer o depósito de água apenas com água canalizada/
destilada. Caso contrário, poderá danifi car o ferro de engomar a
vapor.
► Não pode limpar o ferro de engomar a vapor com solventes, álcool
ou produtos de limpeza abrasivos. Caso contrário, poderá danifi cá-lo.

Antes da primeira utilização
1) Retire o ferro de engomar a vapor da embalagem.
2) Remova todos os autocolantes e películas do
ferro de engomar a vapor e da placa metálica
do ferro 9.
ATENÇÃO - PERIGO DE ASFIXIA!
Os sacos de plástico podem representar um
perigo. Para evitar perigo de asfi xia, mantenha
os sacos de plástico fora do alcance de bebés
e crianças.
3) Encha o depósito de água com água (ver
capítulo "Abastecimento do depósito de
água").
4) Insira a fi cha elétrica numa tomada que
corresponda à tensão indicada na placa de
características.
5) Para ligar o ferro de engomar e para ajustar
a temperatura, prima o botão TEMP
várias vezes, até que seja visualizado no visor
11/MAX 1.
6) Deixe o ferro de engomar a vapor aquecer
durante alguns minutos no nível máximo.
7) Acione várias vezes o botão Jato de vapor 5
de modo que o vapor saia da placa metálica
do ferro 9.
8) Engome depois um pedaço de tecido que já
não seja necessário, para eliminar eventuais
impurezas da placa metálica do ferro 9.
9) Prima o botão
que o visor 1 apresente em letra vermelha
Standby.
10) Retire a fi cha da tomada.

Desativação automática
O ferro de engomar a vapor está equipado com
uma desativação automática. Esta para o aquecimento do ferro de engomar a vapor.
Se o ferro de engomar a vapor estiver colocado
na placa metálica do ferro 9 e não for movido
durante aprox. 30 segundos, são emitidos 6 sinais
sonoros, é visualizada a palavra "PAUSE" e o visor
1 apresenta luz vermelha. O aquecimento do
ferro de engomar a vapor para.
Para desativar a desativação automática, levante
o ferro de engomar a vapor e mova-o ligeiramente
para a frente e para trás.
O visor 1 apresenta luz azul, o nível de temperatura anteriormente regulado é visualizado e o ferro
de engomar a vapor volta a aquecer.
Se o ferro de engomar a vapor estiver colocado
na respetiva base 7 e não for movido durante
aprox. 8 minutos, são emitidos 6 sinais sonoros,
é visualizada a palavra "PAUSE" e o visor 1
apresenta luz vermelha. O aquecimento do ferro
de engomar a vapor para.
Para desativar a desativação automática, levante
o ferro de engomar a vapor e mova-o ligeiramente
para a frente e para trás.
O visor 1 apresenta luz azul, o nível de temperatura anteriormente regulado é visualizado e o ferro
de engomar a vapor volta a aquecer.
NOTA
Apesar da desativação automática continua a
ser necessário retirar a fi cha da tomada!
Esta função apenas protege o aparelho contra um
possível sobreaquecimento e evita um consumo
desnecessário de energia elétrica.
No entanto, ela não protege contra incêndios
caso, por exemplo, deixe o ferro de engomar
a vapor quente em cima da roupa.

Encher o depósito de água
1) Coloque o ferro de engomar a vapor na
base 7.
2) Abra a tampa do orifício de abastecimento do
depósito de água q.
3) Encha o copo de medição w com água cana-
lizada até, no máximo, à marcação "MAX"
no depósito de água.
4) Feche a tampa do orifício de abastecimento
do depósito de água q.
NOTA
Se a água canalizada da sua área de residência for demasiado dura, recomenda-se a mistura
da água canalizada com água destilada. Caso
contrário, os bocais para a função de jato de
vapor podem ganhar calcário prematuramente.
Para prolongar a função de jato de vapor
correta, misture a água canalizada com água
destilada, de acordo com a tabela.

etiquetas do vestuário, se a peça de vestuário
pode ser engomada e a respetiva regulação
da temperatura.
3) Para ligar o ferro de engomar, prima o botão

Tem de estar regulado, no mínimo, o nível de
temperatura 8. Caso contrário, não é possível
a formação de vapor.
■ Ajuste a intensidade de vapor desejada com
o regulador de vapor 8:
– Se rodar o regulador de vapor 8 no sentido
de
, é produzido mais vapor.
– Se rodar o regulador de vapor 8 no sentido
de
, é produzido menos vapor.
– No entanto, não rode o interruptor 8
além da marcação

■ Assim que colocar o ferro de engomar na hori-

3 ou o botão TEMP 2, até que seja
emitido um sinal sonoro e no visor 1 surja
a vermelho "Standby".

Engomar com jato de vapor
O jato de vapor é especifi camente indicado para
alisar áreas de difícil acesso do vestuário.
1) Levante ligeiramente o ferro de engomar
a vapor.
2) Para utilizar o jato a vapor, prima o respetivo
botão 5.
Com a ajuda do jato de vapor também pode
alisar têxteis suspensos.
Mantenha o ferro de engomar na verti-
cal e acione o botão Jato de vapor 5.

Sistema antipingos
Nos ferros de engomar a vapor convencionais é
possível que, a temperaturas demasiado reduzidas, pingue água da placa metálica do ferro 9.
No entanto, este ferro de engomar a vapor está
equipado com um sistema antipingos ( ).
O ferro de engomar a vapor desliga automaticamente o jato de vapor em temperaturas reduzidas.
Quando tal acontece, ouve-se um "clique". Ajuste
então uma temperatura adequada. Logo que esta
temperatura seja atingida, a produção de vapor
recomeça.

Limpeza
Função de autolimpeza
1) Encha o depósito de água até à marcação
MAX.
2) Insira a fi cha na tomada.
3) Para ligar o ferro de engomar e para ajustar
a temperatura, prima o botão TEMP
várias vezes, até que seja visualizado no visor
11/MAX 1.
4) Abra o regulador de vapor 8 rodando-o até
que este aponte para "SELFCLEAN" e mantenha-o nesta posição. Por motivos de segurança,
o regulador de vapor 8 não encaixa nesta
posição, porque sairia constantemente água
da placa metálica do ferro 9.
5) Mantenha o ferro de engomar a vapor na
horizontal sobre um recipiente de recolha.
Quando a temperatura adequado for atingida,
sai vapor e água a ferver dos orifícios de saída de
vapor na placa metálica do ferro 9. Quaisquer
tipos de sujidade eventualmente existentes serão
assim expelidos.
6) Assim que deixar de sair água/vapor da placa
metálica do ferro, coloque o regulador de
vapor 8 na posição
sas vezes sobre uma toalha ou um pedaço de
tecido velho, para secar bem a placa metálica
do ferro 9.
7) Prima o botão TEMP 2 várias vezes até
que soe um sinal sonoro e o visor 1 apresente
em letra vermelha Standby.
8) Retire a fi cha da tomada.
9) Deixe o ferro de engomar a vapor arrefecer
antes de o guardar.

The operating instructions are part of this product.
They contain important information about safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product,
please familiarise yourself with all operating and
safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of applications specifi ed.
Please also pass these operating instructions on to

Intended use
This steam iron is intended exclusively for the
ironing of textiles. The iron may only be used
indoors and in domestic households. All other use
is deemed to be improper use. It is not suitable for
commercial use!

Safety information
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
► The rating of the local power supply must correspond with the details
given on the rating plate of the appliance.
► To avoid potential risks, arrange for a defective appliance to be
checked and possibly repaired by qualifi ed technicians, or contact
our Customer Service Department.
► To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power cables
replaced immediately by an authorised specialist technician or our
Customer Service department.
► Always disconnect from the mains power socket by pulling only on
the plug itself, never on the mains cable.
► Never bend (kink) or crush the power cable, always route it in such
a way that it cannot come into contact with hot surfaces and such
that no one can step on or trip over it.
► After every use, before cleaning and when refi lling with tap water,
always remove the plug from the mains power socket.
► Always unroll the power cable fully before switching on and do not
use an extension cable.
► Never touch the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
► Never use the steam iron adjacent to water contained in a bath, shower,
wash basin or other vessels. The proximity of water is hazardous,
even if the appliance is switched off .
► Under no circumstances should you submerge the steam iron in any
liquid or permit liquids to penetrate into the housing of the steam iron.
Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors.
If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance from the
mains power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualifi ed
technician.

► Do not open the steam iron housing. Have a defective steam iron
repaired only by an authorised technician.
► Do not use the appliance if it shows visible signs of damage, has
fallen or leaks water. Arrange for it to be repaired by qualifi ed
specialists.
► Stop using the appliance if the anti-kink protection on the power
cable is damaged!
► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or more and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised, or have
been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood
the potential risks. Do not allow children to use the appliance as a
plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out
by children unless they are supervised.

► Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
► Never place your hands in the steam spray or on hot metal parts.
► Do not open the fi ller opening for the water tank while the iron is in
use. Allow the steam iron to cool down fi rst and remove the plug from
the power socket.
► When it is switched on or cooling down, the steam iron and its con-
necting cable must be kept out of the reach of children who are
younger than 8 years old.

► Never leave the steam iron unattended while it is connected to the
mains power supply.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Never leave a hot steam iron unattended if it is switched on or con-
nected to the mains power supply.
► Do not put the steam iron away until it has cooled down completely.
► The steam iron should only be used and set down on stable surfaces.
► Use only the ironing temperatures stated in the care instructions as
suitable for the material. Otherwise, you could damage the textiles.
If you do not know the correct care instructions, start with the lowest
temperature setting.
► Place the steam iron only on level and heat-resistant surfaces.
The steam iron must be stable.
► When you want to put the steam iron down, always place it on its
base.
► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing, ( symbol), the clothing
item must not be ironed. Ignoring this warning could lead to permanent
damage to the clothing item.
► The water tank should be fi lled only with tap water or distilled water.
Otherwise you will damage the steam iron.
► Do not clean the steam iron with solvents, alcohol or abrasive cleaning
agents. These could damage it.

Before fi rst use
1) Remove the steam iron from the packaging.
2) Remove all stickers and protective fi lms from
the steam iron and from the sole of the iron 9.
WARNING – RISK OF
SUFFOCATION!
Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid the
risks of asphyxiation, keep plastic bags out of
the reach of babies and toddlers.
3) Fill the water tank with water (See the chapter
"Filling the water tank").
4) Insert the plug into a mains power socket supplying an electrical current as detailed on the
rating plate.
5) To switch on the iron and set the temperature,
press the TEMP
11/MAX appears on the display 1.
6) Heat the steam iron up for several minutes at
the highest setting.
7) Activate the steam blast button 5 several times
so that steam comes out of the sole of the iron 9.
8) Then iron over a piece of scrap fabric to remove any production residues that may remain
on the sole of the iron 9.

Automatic switch-off
This steam iron is fi tted with an automatic switch-off
system. This stops the steam iron from heating up.
When the steam iron is resting on its sole 9 and is
not moved for approx. 30 seconds, 6 warning beeps
will sound, "PAUSE" appears and the display 1
lights up red. The steam iron will stop heating up.
To deactivate the automatic switch-off , lift up the
steam iron and move it gently from side to side.
The display 1 lights up blue, the previously set
temperature level is shown and the steam iron
heats up again.
When the steam iron is resting on its base 7 and is
not moved for approx. 8 minutes, 6 warning beeps
will sound, "PAUSE" appears and the display 1
lights up red. The steam iron will stop heating up.
To deactivate the automatic switch-off , lift up the
steam iron and move it gently from side to side.
The display 1 lights up blue, the previously set
temperature level is shown and the steam iron
heats up again.
NOTE
The automatic switch-off is not intended as a
substitute for removing the plug from the mains
power!
It is merely designed to prevent the appliance
from overheating and helps to avoid unnecessary power consumption.
It does not provide fi re protection, however, e.g.
if you place and leave the hot steam iron on
fl ammable material.

Filling the water tank
1) Place the steam iron on the base 7.
2) Open the cover of the fi ller opening for the
water tank q.
3) Using the measuring beaker w, fi ll the water
tank with water to the "MAX" marking, but no
further.
4) Close the cover of the fi ller opening for the
water tank q.
NOTE
If the mains water in your area is rated as hard,
it is recommended that you mix the mains water
with some distilled water. Otherwise, the jets for
the steam blast function could calcify (become
blocked) prematurely.
To extend the optimal steam blast function, mix
mains water with distilled water according to the
table.

garments to see if they are suitable for ironing,

"Meaning of the display indicators"). Use the
TEMP 2 button to switch to a higher or
lower temperature level.
As soon as the indicator for the material type stops
fl ashing on the display 1 and a beep is heard,
the set temperature has been reached and you can
begin ironing.
NOTE
If you are ironing very dry and creased fabrics,
you can dampen the material using the spray
function. To dampen the material, press the button for the spray function 4.

Ironing with steam blast
The steam blast function is especially suitable for
smoothing diffi cult-to-reach parts of a garment.
1) Raise the steam iron slightly.
2) Press the steam blast button 5 for a blast of
steam.
You can also use the steam blast function to smooth
hanging textiles.

Anti-drip system
With conventional steam irons, water can drip
from the sole of the iron 9 if the set temperature
is too low. This steam iron, however, is equipped
with a special anti-drip system (
temperatures, the steam iron automatically switches
off the steam blast function. When this happens,
a "click" can be heard. Set a suitable temperature
level. As soon as this is reached, steam production
is resumed.

Self-cleaning function
1) Fill the water tank to the marking MAX.
2) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
3) To switch on the iron and set the temperature,
press the TEMP

keep it in this position. For safety reasons, the
steam control 8 does not snap into this position, as this would cause water to drip from the

As soon as a suitable temperature is reached,
steam and boiling water will exit the holes in the
sole of the iron 9. Any impurities that may be
present are fl ushed out.
6) When no more water/steam comes out of the
iron sole, set the steam control 8 to
over a towel or old piece of cloth a few times
to dry the sole of the iron 9 thoroughly.
7) Press the TEMP 2 button repeatedly until
you hear a beep and the display 1 reads

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from
the date of purchase. If this product has any faults,
you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your
statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the
warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the
date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt
in a safe place. This document will be required as
proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you
at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and
the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written
description of the fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair
or replacement of a product does not signify the
beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
eff ected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts
subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such
as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made
of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained.
The directions in the operating instructions for the
product regarding proper use of the product are
to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are
discouraged in the operating instructions or which
are warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling,
use of force and modifi cations/repairs which have
not been carried out by one of our authorised

Gerätes.
Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt
entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise
für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen
Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen
Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für
die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie
alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an
Dritte mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
Das Dampfbügeleisen ist ausschließlich zum Bügeln
von Kleidung bestimmt. Sie dürfen es nur innerhalb
geschlossener Räume und in privaten Haushalten
verwenden. Alle anderen Verwendungen gelten
als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Benutzen Sie es nicht
gewerblich!

Sicherheitshinweise
GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!
► Die Spannung der Stromquelle muss mit den Angaben auf dem Ty-
penschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
► Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät umgehend von einer qualifi zierten
Fachwerkstatt instand setzen, oder wenden Sie sich an den Kundenservice, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von au-
torisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie immer nur am Netzstecker, niemals am Netzkabel.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen Sie
es so, dass es nicht in Kontakt mit heißen Oberfl ächen kommt und
niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.
► Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen, beim Auff üllen mit Leitungswasser und
nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker.
► Rollen Sie das Netzkabel vor dem Einschalten immer vollständig ab
und verwenden Sie keine Verlängerungskabel.
► Fassen Sie das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten
Händen an.
► Benutzen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen keinesfalls in der Nähe von
Wasser, das in Badewannen, Duschen, Waschbecken oder anderen
Gefäßen enthalten ist. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar,
auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
► Sie dürfen das Dampfbügeleisen keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tau-
chen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse des Dampfbügeleisens gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit
aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit
in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker des
Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von qualifi ziertem
Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse des Dampfbügeleisens nicht öff nen.
Lassen Sie das defekte Dampfbügeleisen nur von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Benutzen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen auf keinen Fall, wenn es sichtbare
Beschädigungen aufweist, heruntergefallen ist, oder Wasser ausläuft.
Lassen Sie es erst von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht weiter, wenn der Knickschutz am Netz-
kabel beschädigt ist!
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und älter und von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden,
wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des
Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

► Fassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen nur am Griff an, wenn es heiß ist.
► Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht
mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Halten Sie niemals Ihre Hände in den Dampfstoß oder an heiße Metall-
teile.
► Sie dürfen die Einfüllöff nung für den Wassertank während des Ge-
brauchs nicht öff nen. Lassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen zunächst erkalten und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Das Dampfbügeleisen und dessen Anschlussleitung müssen während
des Einschaltens oder Abkühlens außer Reichweite von Kindern sein,
die jünger als 8 Jahre alt sind.

► Das Dampfbügeleisen darf nicht unbeaufsichtigt gelassen werden,
während es am Netz angeschlossen ist.

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!
► Lassen Sie das heiße, am Stromnetz angeschlossene oder eingeschal-
tete Dampfbügeleisen niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Verstauen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen nur im abgekühlten Zustand.
► Das Dampfbügeleisen muss auf einer stabilen Oberfl äche benutzt
und abgestellt werden.
► Bügeln Sie nur mit den auf den Pfl egehinweisen angegebenen und
für das Material geeigneten Temperatureinstellungen. Sie können
die Wäsche andernfalls beschädigen. Falls Sie keine Pfl egehinweise
kennen, beginnen Sie mit der niedrigsten Temperatureinstellung.
► Stellen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen nur auf einen ebenen und hitzeun-
empfi ndlichen Untergrund. Das Dampfbügeleisen muss stabil stehen.
► Wenn Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aus der Hand legen wollen, stellen
Sie es nur auf dem Sockel ab.
► Falls die Pfl egehinweise in der Kleidung das Bügeln untersagen
(Symbol
), dürfen Sie das Kleidungsstück nicht bügeln. Sie könnten
das Kleidungsstück andernfalls beschädigen.
► Sie dürfen ausschließlich Leitungswasser/destilliertes Wasser in den
Wassertank einfüllen. Andernfalls beschädigen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen.
► Sie dürfen das Dampfbügeleisen nicht mit Lösungsmitteln, Alkohol
oder scheuernden Reinigungsmitteln säubern. Andernfalls könnten Sie
es beschädigen.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
1) Entnehmen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen aus der
Verpackung.
2) Entfernen Sie alle Aufkleber und Folienteile
vom Dampfbügeleisen und der Bügelsohle 9.
WARNUNG - ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!
Plastiktüten können eine Gefahr darstellen. Um
Erstickungsgefahr zu vermeiden, bewahren Sie
die Plastiktüten außerhalb der Reichweite von
Babies und Kleinkindern auf.
3) Füllen Sie Wasser in den Wassertank (siehe
Kapitel „Wassertank befüllen“).
4) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose, die der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Spannung entspricht.
5) Um das Bügeleisen einzuschalten und die
Temperatur einzustellen, drücken Sie die Taste
TEMP
1 angezeigt wird.
6) Heizen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen einige Minuten auf der höchsten Stufe auf.
7) Betätigen Sie die Taste Dampfstoß 5 einige
Male, so dass Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 9
austritt.
8) Bügeln Sie dann ein nicht mehr benötigtes
Stück Stoff , um eventuelle Unreinheiten von der
Bügelsohle 9 zu beseitigen.
9) Drücken Sie so oft die Taste
das Display 1 in roter Schrift Standby anzeigt.
10) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Automatische Abschaltung
Das Dampfbügeleisen ist mit einer automatischen
Abschaltung ausgestattet. Diese stoppt das Heizen
des Dampfbügeleisens.
Wenn das Dampfbügeleisen auf der Bügelsohle
9 steht und es für ca. 30 Sekunden nicht bewegt
wird, erklingen 6 Warntöne, „PAUSE“ erscheint
und das Display 1 leuchtet rot. Das Heizen des
Dampfbügeleisens wird gestoppt.
Um die automatische Abschaltung zu deaktivieren,
heben Sie das Dampfbügeleisen an und schwenken Sie es leicht hin und her.
Das Display 1 leuchtet blau, die vorher eingestellte Temperaturstufe wird angezeigt und das
Dampfbügeleisen heizt wieder auf.
Wenn das Dampfbügeleisen auf dem Sockel 7
steht und es für ca. 8 Minuten nicht bewegt wird,
erklingen 6 Warntöne, „PAUSE“ erscheint und das
Display 1 leuchtet rot. Das Heizen des Dampfbü-
geleisens wird gestoppt.
Um die automatische Abschaltung zu deaktivieren,
heben Sie das Dampfbügeleisen an und schwenken Sie es leicht hin und her.
Das Display 1 leuchtet blau, die vorher eingestellte Temperaturstufe wird angezeigt und das
Dampfbügeleisen heizt wieder auf.
HINWEIS
Die automatische Abschaltung ersetzt nicht das
Ziehen des Netzsteckers!
Sie schützt lediglich das Gerät vor Überhitzung
und vermeidet unnötigen Stromverbrauch.
Sie stellt jedoch keinen Schutz vor Brand dar,
wenn Sie z. B. das heiße Dampfbügeleisen auf
die Wäsche stellen.

Wassertank befüllen
1) Stellen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen auf den
Sockel 7.
2) Öff nen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöff nung für
den Wassertank q.
3) Füllen Sie mit dem Messbecher w Leitungs-
wasser bis höchstens zur „MAX“-Markierung in
den Wassertank.
4) Schließen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöff nung für
den Wassertank q.
HINWEIS
Sollte das Leitungswasser Ihres Wohnortes zu
hart sein, empfi ehlt es sich, das Leitungswasser
mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten
können die Düsen für die Dampfstoß-Funktion
vorzeitig verkalken.

Temperatureinstellung das Kleidungsstück zum
Bügeln geeignet ist.
3) Um das Bügeleisen einzuschalten, drücken
Sie die Taste TEMP
geeignete Temperaturstufe im Display 1
angezeigt wird (siehe Kapitel „Bedeutung der
Display-Anzeige“). Mit der Taste
können Sie von einer hohen zu einer niedrigeren Temperaturstufe wechseln.
Sobald die Anzeige der Stoff art im Display 1
aufhört zu Blinken und ein Signalton ertönt, ist die
eingestellte Temperatur erreicht und Sie können mit
dem Bügeln beginnen.
HINWEIS
Sollten Sie sehr trockene und knittrige Wäsche
bügeln, können Sie die Wäsche mit Hilfe der
Sprühfunktion befeuchten. Drücken Sie zum
Befeuchten der Wäsche auf die Taste für die
Sprühfunktion 4.

Es muss mindestens die Temperaturstufe 8 eingestellt sein. Ansonsten kann kein Dampf erzeugt
werden.
■ Stellen Sie mit dem Dampfregler 8 die ge-
wünschte Dampfstärke ein:
– Wenn Sie den Dampfregler 8 in Richtung
drehen, wird mehr Dampf erzeugt.
– Wenn Sie den Dampfregler 8 in Richtung
drehen, wird weniger Dampf erzeugt.

– Drehen Sie den Dampfregler 8 jedoch nicht
weiter als bis zur Einstellung
befi nden Sie sich in der SelbstreinigungsFunktion/SelfClean (siehe Kapitel „Selbstreinigungs-Funktion“).
■ Sobald Sie das Dampfbügeleisen waagerecht
halten, tritt Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 9 aus.
■ Wenn Sie den Dampfregler 8 auf stellen
oder das Dampfbügeleisen senkrecht halten, tritt
kein Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 9 aus.

Bügeln mit Dampfstoß
Der Dampfstoß eignet sich besonders, um schwer
zugängliche Bereiche der Wäsche zu glätten.
1) Heben Sie das Dampfbügeleisen leicht an.
2) Drücken Sie für einen Dampfstoß die Taste
Dampfstoß 5.
Mit Hilfe des Dampstoßes können Sie auch hängende Textilien glätten.
Dampfbügeleisen außer Betrieb
nehmen
1) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
2) Leeren Sie den Wassertank und reinigen Sie
die Bügelsohle 9.
3) Stellen Sie das abgekühlte Dampfbügeleisen
auf den Sockel 7.
Anti-Tropf-System
Bei herkömmlichen Dampfbügeleisen kann es
vorkommen, dass bei zu geringer Bügeltempera-
tur Wasser aus der Bügelsohle 9 tropft. Dieses
Dampfbügeleisen weist jedoch ein Ausstattungsmerkmal, das Anti-Tropf-System (

Reinigen
Selbstreinigungs-Funktion
1) Füllen Sie den Wassertank bis zur Markierung
MAX.
2) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose.
3) Um das Bügeleisen einzuschalten und die
Temperatur einzustellen, drücken Sie die Taste
TEMP
1 angezeigt wird.
4) Drehen Sie den Dampfregler 8 auf so weit,
dass diese auf „SELFCLEAN“ weist und halten
Sie ihn in dieser Position fest. Aus Sicherheits-
gründen rastet der Dampfregler 8 in dieser
Position nicht ein, da ansonsten stetig Wasser
aus der Bügelsohle 9 tropfen würde.
5) Halten Sie das Dampfbügeleisen waagerecht
über eine Auff angschüssel.

Sobald die geeignete Temperatur erreicht ist, tritt
Dampf und kochendes Wasser aus den Dampf-
austrittslöchern in der Bügelsohle 9 aus. Eventuell
vorhandene Verunreinigungen werden dabei
herausgespült.
6) Sobald kein Wasser / Dampf aus der Bügelsohle austritt, stellen Sie den Dampfregler 8
auf die Position
über ein Handtuch oder altes Stück Stoff hin
und her, um die Bügelsohle 9 gründlich zu
trocknen.
7) Drücken Sie so oft die Taste
ein Signalton ertönt und das Display 1 in roter
Schrift Standby anzeigt.
8) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
9) Lassen Sie das Dampfbügeleisen abkühlen,
bevor Sie es zur Seite stellen.

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab
Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts
stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts
gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte
werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte
Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte

Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum

Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt.
Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb
der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der
Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich
kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht
und wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist,
erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt
zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien
sorgfältig produziert und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf
Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt
sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden
können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile
die aus Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde.
Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind
alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke
und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird,
sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den
gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriff en, die nicht von unserer
autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung
