Your RadioShack PRO-100 Communications Headset
delivers a wide frequency response for impressive sound
in an extremely lightweight desig n. It is ideal for use with
CB radios, scanners, and shortwave radios. The adjust­able headband accommodates any head size or shape
for a comfortable fit.

The frequency response is 20–18,000 Hz. The imped­ance is 32 ohms ±10%. The diameter of each speaker i s

OPERATION

Then adjust the volum e control on the left earpiece
until you reach a comfortable listening level.

Listening Safely

To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when you
use this headset.

• Set the volume to the lowest setting before you begin
listening. After you begin listening, adjust the volume
to a comfortable level.

• Do not listen at extremely high volume levels.
Extended high-volume listening can lead to perma­nent hearing loss.

• Once you set the volume, do not increase it. Over
time, your ears adapt to the volume level, so a vol­ume level that doe s not cause discomfort might still
damage your hearing.

Traffic Safety

Do not wear this headset while operating a m ot or vehi cle
or riding a bicycle. This can creat e a traffic hazard a nd
could be illegal in some areas.

To enjoy your RadioShack PRO-100 Communications
Headset for a long time:

• Keep the headset dry. If it gets wet, wipe it dry imme­diately.

• Use and store the headset only in normal tem pera­ture environments.

• Handle the headset gently and carefully. Don’t drop it.

• Keep the headset away from dust and dirt.

• Wipe the headset with a da mp cloth occasionally to
keep it looking new.

Modifying or tampering with the headset’s internal com­ponents can cause a malfunct ion and might inv alidate its
warranty. If your headset is not performing as it should,
take it to your local RadioShack store for assistance.

sales receipt as pr oof of pu rchase date to an y Radi oSh ack sto re. RadioS hac k will, at its option, un­less otherwise provide d by law: (a) correct the defect by product repair w ithout cha rge for parts and
labor; (b) replac e the product with one of the same or similar design ; or (c) refund the purchase
price. All replaced par ts and products, and products on which a re fund is made, becom e the prop­erty of RadioShack . New or reconditioned part s and products may be used in the perform ance of
warranty service. R epaired or replaced parts and pr oducts are warranted for the remain der of the
original warranty period . You will be charged for repair or replacement of the product made after the
expiration of the warranty period.
This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by or attributable to acts of God, abuse,
accident, misus e, impro per or ab normal usage , failure to foll ow instr uc tions, im proper instal lation or
maintenance, al teration, lightning or other inciden ce of excess voltage or current; (b) any repai rs
other than those prov ided by a RadioShac k Authorized Service Fac ility; (c) consumables such as
fuses or batteri es; (d) co smet ic damag e; (e) tran sportation, shipping or ins uranc e costs ; or (f) co sts
of product removal, installation, set-up service adjustment or reinstallation.
