PRO 55 MX Headset
OWNER’S MANUAL — Please read before using this equipment.
Your RadioShack PRO 55 MX Headset is equipped with a dynamic, unidirectional boom microphone for hands-free communication with computer games and voiceactivated and voice-recognition software. The headset is also ideal for use with PA mixers or multimedia systems (for audio/ video mixing, dubbing, narration, and sound and voice effects).
The lightweight headset uses high energy dynamic elements for a wide frequency response that delivers impressive sound reproduction. An adjustable headband accommodates any head size for a comfortable fit. Other features include:
Closed Vinyl Ear Cushions — provide better isolation and deep bass performance.
Anisotropic Magnet Structure — produces high-end clarity and detail for the highest quality stereo sound.
8-Foot Cord — gives you flexibility and ease of movement.
Frequency Response — 20–20,000 Hz with a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.2% at 95 dB SPL at 1kHz.
OPERATION
Caution: Turn down the volume on the sound source you plan to use (such as a computer or PA equipment) before plugging in the headset.
Note: The headset has 1/8-inch (3.5-mm) stereo and MIC plugs. To connect the headset’s plugs to 1/4-inch (6.35-mm) stereo output or input jacks, use an adapter (available at your local RadioShack store).
1.Insert the headset’s headphone plug into the EARPHONE (or similarly marked output jack) on your sound source.
2.Insert the headset’s microphone plug into the MIC (or similarly marked input jack) on your sound source.
3.Adjust the headband for the best fit.
4.Adjust the MIC for the best transmission.

Your local RadioShack store has many adapters, splitters, replacement ear pads, and cable extensions to enhance the use of your headset.

To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines when you use the headset.
