THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
YOU, AS THE END USER, AND PIONEER
CORP. (JAPAN) (“PIONEER”). PLEASE READ
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS
AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING
THE SOFTWARE INSTALLED ON THE
PIONEER PRODUCTS. BY USING THE SOFT­WARE INSTALLED ON THE PIONEER PRO­DUCTS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE
TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. THE SOFT­WARE INCLUDES A DATABASE LICENSED BY
THIRD PARTY SUPPLIER(S) (“SUPPLIERS”),
AND YOUR USE OF THE DATABASE IS COV­ERED BY THE SUPPLIERS’ SEPARATE
TERMS, WHICH ARE ATTACHED TO THIS
AGREEMENT (refer to page 9). IF YOU DO NOT
AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, PLEASE
RETURN THE PIONEER PRODUCTS (INCLUD­ING THE SOFTWARE, AND ANY WRIT TEN MA­TERIALS) WITHIN FIVE (5) DAYS OF RECEIPT
OF THE PRODUCTS, TO THE AUTHORISED
PIONEER DEALER FROM WHICH YOU PUR­CHASED THEM.

1 GRANT OF LICENCE

Pioneer grants to you a non-transferable, non­exclusive licence to use the software installed
on the Pioneer products (the “Software”) and
the related documentation solely for your own
personal use or for internal use by your busi­ness, only on such Pioneer products.
You shall not copy, reverse engineer, translate,
port, modify or make derivative works of the
Software. You shall not loan, rent, disclose,
publish, sell, assign, lease, sublicence, market
or other wise transfer the Software or use it in
any manner not expressly authorised by this
agreement. You shall not derive or attempt to
derive the source code or structure of all or
any portion of the Software by reverse engi­neering, disassembly, decompilation, or any
other means. You shall not use the Software to
operate a service bureau or for any other use
involving the processing of data for other per­sons or entities.

Pioneer and its licensor(s) shall retain all copy-

right, trade secret, patent and other proprie­tary ownership rights in the Software. The
Software is copyrighted and may not be cop­ied, even if modified or merged with other pro­ducts. You shall not alter or remove any
copyright notice or proprietary legend con­tained in or on the Software.
You may transfer all of your licence rights in
the Software, the related documentation and a
copy of this Licence Agreement to another
party, provided that the party reads and agrees
to accept the terms and conditions of this Li­cence Agreement.

2 DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

The Software and related documentation are
provided to you “AS IS”. PIONEER AND ITS LI­CENSOR(S) (for the purpose of provisions 2
and 3, Pioneer and its licensor(s) shall be col­lectively referred to as “Pioneer”) MAKES AND
YOU RECEIVE NO WARRANTY, WHETHER EX­PRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ALL WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EX­PRESSLY EXCLUDED. SOME COUNTRIES DO
NOT ALLOW EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WAR­RANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY
NOT APPLY TO YOU. The Software is complex
and may contain some non-conformities, de­fects or errors. Pioneer does not warrant that
the Software will meet your needs or expecta­tions, that operation of the Software will be

3 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL PIONEER BE LIABLE
FOR ANY DAMAGES, CLAIM OR LOSS IN­CURRED BY YOU (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIM­ITATION, COMPENSATORY, INCIDENTAL,
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR
EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST
SALES OR BUSINESS, EXPENDITURES, IN­VESTMENTS, OR COMMITMENTS IN CON­NECTION WITH ANY BUSINESS, LOSS OF
ANY GOODWILL, OR DAMAGES) RESULTING
FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE
THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF PIONEER HAS
BEEN INFORMED OF, KNEW OF, OR SHOULD
HAVE KNOWN OF THE LIKELIHOOD OF
SUCH DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES
TO ALL CAUSES OF ACTION IN THE AGGRE­GATE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION
BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WAR­RANTY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, MIS­REPRESENTATION, AND OTHER TORTS. IF
PIONEER’S WARRANTY DISCLAIMER OR

AGREEMENT SHALL OR FOR ANY REASON
WHATSOEVER BE HELD UNENFORCEABLE
OR INAPPLICABLE, YOU AGREE THAT
PIONEER’S LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED
FIFTY PERCENT (50%) OF THE PRICE PAID BY
YOU FOR THE ENCLOSED PIONEER PRO­DUCT.
Some countries do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential da­mages, so the above limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you. This warranty disclaimer
and limitation of liability shall not be applic­able to the extent that any provision of this
warranty is prohibited by any country or local
law which cannot be pre-empted.

5 TERMINATION

This Agreement is effective until terminated.
You may terminate it at any time by destroying
the Software. The Agreement also will termi­nate if you do not comply with any terms or
conditions of this Agreement. Upon such ter­mination, you agree to destroy the Software.

6 MISCELLANEOUS

This is the entire Agreement between Pioneer
and you regarding its subject matter. No
change in this Agreement shall be effective
unless agreed to in writing by Pioneer. If any
provision of this Agreement is declared invalid
or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of
this Agreement shall remain in full force and
effect.

4 EXPORT LAW ASSURANCES

You agree and certify that neither the Software
nor any other technical data received from
Pioneer, nor the direct product thereof, will be
exported outside the country or district (the
“Country”) governed by the government having
jurisdiction over you (the “Government”) ex­cept as authorised and as permitted by the

Licensing Terms

THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT (THE “AGREE­MENT”) BETWEEN YOU, THE END USER, AND
PIONEER and its licensors of Data product
(sometimes collectively “Licensors”). BY
USING YOUR COPY OF THE LICENSED DATA,
YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDI­TIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.

1

Grant of License.

Licensors grant you a non-transferable, nonex­clusive license to use the map data and busi­ness points of interest information (the
“POIs”), (together, the “Data”) contained on
these discs, solely for personal, non-commer­cial use and not to operate a service bureau or
for any other use involving the processing of
data of other persons or entities. You may
make one (1) copy of the Data for archival or
backup purposes only but you may not other­wise copy, reproduce, modify, make derivative
works, derive the structure of or reverse engi­neer the Data. The Data is restricted for use
with the PIONEER Product(s). The Data con­tains confidential and proprietary information
and materials, and may contain trade secrets,
so you agree to hold the Data in confidence
and in trust and not to disclose the Data or
any portions in any form, including by renting,
leasing, publishing, leasing, sublicensing or
transferring the Data to any third party. You
are explicitly prohibited from downloading the
digital maps and programmes contained in
the Data or from transferring these to another
data carrier or computer. You are prohibited
from using the POIs (i) to create mailing lists
or (ii) for other such similar uses.

“SUPPLIERS”) EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IM­PLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRIN­GEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, EFFECTIVE­NESS, COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY, TITLE
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
PIONEER, ITS LICENSORS AND SUPPLIERS

Limitation of Liability.

FOR ALL MATTERS ARISING OUT OF THE
SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS AGREEMENT,
WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHER­WISE, EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU
FOR YOUR COPY OF THE PIONEER DATA.
PIONEER, ITS LICENSORS AND SUPPLIERS
SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY MATTER TO
YOU FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSE­QUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES (IN­CLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF
BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUP­TION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION,
AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THIS
AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF OR INABILITY
TO USE THE DATA, EVEN IF PIONEER, ITS LI­CENSORS OR SUPPLIERS HAVE BEEN AD -

VISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES.

Termination.

This Agreement will terminate immediately
and automatically, without notice, if you
breach any term of this Agreement. You agree
that in the event of termination of the Agree­ment, you shall return the Data (including all
documentation and all copies) to PIONEER
and its suppliers.

Indemnity.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold
PIONEER, its Licensors, and its suppliers (in­cluding their respective licensors, suppliers,
assignees, subsidiaries, affiliated companies,
and the respective officers, directors, employ­ees, shareholders, agents and representatives)
free and harmless from and against any liabili­ty, loss, injury (including injuries resulting in
death), demand, action, cost, expense, or
claim of any kind or character, including but
not limited to attorney’s fees, arising out of or
in connection with any use or possession by
you of the Data.

a You are prohibited from removing or ob-

scuring of any copyright, trademark or re­strictive legend belonging to Ordnance

provided on an “AS IS” AND “WITH ALL

LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF NON-INFRINGE-MENT, MERCHANT­ABILITY, QUALITY, EFFECTIVENESS, COM­PLETENESS, ACCURACY, TITLE AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY
AND PERFORMANCE OF THE DATA PRO­DUCT RESTS WITH YOU. ORDNANCE SUR­VEY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE DATA
WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR
COMPLETE OR ACCURATE OR UP TO
DATE OR ACCURATE OR THAT THE OP­ERATION OF THE DATA WILL BE UNINTER­RUPTED OR ERROR FREE. NO ORAL OR

AGREEMENTS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT,

Licence Agreement

11 Miscellaneous.

This is the exclusive and complete Agreement
between the Licensors and you regarding its
subject matter. Nothing in this Agreement
shall create a joint venture, partnership or
principal-agent relationship between the Li­censors and you. Sections 2 - 4 and 6 - 11 shall
survive the expiration or termination of this
Agreement. This Agreement may be amended,
altered, or modified only by PIONEER. You
may not assign any part of this Agreement
without PIONEER’ prior written consent. You
acknowledge and understand that the Data
may be subject to restrictions on exportation
and agree to comply with any applicable ex­port laws. In the event that any provision or
part of a provision of this Agreement is deter­mined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable,
such provision or part thereof shall be stricken
from this Agreement and the remainder of this
Agreement shall be valid, legal, and enforce­able to the maximum extent possible. Any no­tice under this Agreement shall be delivered
by courier to PIONEER, Attention Legal
Department.

Definitions of terminology

“Front Display” and “Rear
Display”

In this manual, the screen that is attached to
the body of this navigation unit will be referred
to as the “Front Display”. Any additional op­tional screen that is purchased for use in con­junction with this navigation unit will be
referred to as the “Rear Display”.

“Video image”

“Video image” in this manual indicates mov­ing images of DVD-Video, DivX
equipment that is connected to this system
with an RCA cable, such as general-purpose
AV equipment.

! Do not attempt to install or service your navi-

gation system by yourself. Installation or servi­cing of the navigation system by persons
without training and experience in electronic
equipment and automotive accessories may
be dangerous and could expose you to the
risk of electric shock or other hazards.

! If liquid or foreign matter should get inside

this navigation system, park your vehicle to
safe place and turn the ignition switch off
(ACC OFF) immediately and consult your deal­er or the nearest authorised Pioneer Service
Station. Do not use the navigation system in
this condition because doing so may result in
a fire, electric shock, or other failure.

! If you notice smoke, a strange noise or odor

from the navigation system, or any other ab­normal signs on the LCD screen, turn off the
power immediately and consult your dealer or
the nearest authorised Pioneer Service Sta­tion. Using this navigation system in this con­dition may result in permanent damage to the
system.

! Do not disassemble or modify this navigation

system, as there are high-voltage components
inside which may cause an electric shock. Be
sure to consult your dealer or the nearest
authorised Pioneer Service Station for internal
inspection, adjustments or repairs.

! Do not allow this product to come into contact

with liquids. Electrical shock could result.
Also, damage to the product, smoke, and over­heating could result from contact with liquids.

CAUTION

! When a route is calculated, the route and

voice guidance for the route are automatically
set. Also, for day or time traffic regulations,
only information about traffic regulations ap­plicable at the time when the route was calcu­lated is shown. One-way streets and street
closures may not be taken into consideration.
For example, if a street is open during the
morning only, but you arrive later, it would be

against the traffic regulations so you cannot

drive along the set route. When driving, please
follow the actual traffic signs. Also, the system
may not know some traffic regulations.

Before using your navigation system, be sure
to read and fully understand the following

system (and rear view camera option if pur­chased) are intended solely as an aid to
you in the operation of your vehicle. It is

p Failure to set correct information about the

local time may result in the navigation sys­tem providing improper routing and gui­dance instructions.

p Never set the volume of your navigation

system so high that you cannot hear out­side traffic and emergency vehicles.

p To promote safety, certain functions are dis-

abled unless the vehicle is stopped and/or
the handbrake is applied.

p The data encoded in the built-in memory is

the intellectual property of the provider, and
the provider is responsible for such con­tent.

p Keep this manual handy as a reference for

operating procedures and safety informa­tion.

p Pay close attention to all warnings in this

manual and follow the instructions care­fully.

p Do not install this navigation system where

it may (i) obstruct the driver ’s vision, (ii) im­pair the performance of any of the vehicle’s
operating systems or safety features, in­cluding air bags or hazard lamp buttons or
(iii) impair the driver ’s ability to safely oper­ate the vehicle.

p Please remember to fasten your seat belt at

all times while operating your vehicle. If
you are ever in an accident, your injuries
can be considerably more severe if your
seat belt is not properly buckled.

p Never use headphones while driving.

Speed limit indication

The speed limit is based on the map database.
The speed limit in the database may not
match the actual speed limit of the current
road. This is not a definite value. Be sure to
drive according to the actual speed limit.

Handbrake interlock

Certain functions (such as viewing of DVD­Video and certain touch panel key operations)
offered by this navigation system could be
dangerous and/or unlawful if used while driv­ing. To prevent such functions from being
used while the vehicle is in motion, there is an
interlock system that senses when the hand­brake is set and when the vehicle is moving. If
you attempt to use the functions described
above while driving, they will become disabled
until you stop the vehicle in a safe place, and
apply the handbrake. Please keep the brake
pedal pushed down before releasing the hand­brake.

! LIGHT GREEN LEAD AT POWER CON-

NECTOR IS DESIGNED TO DETECT
PARKED STATUS AND MUST BE CON­NECTED TO THE POWER SUPPLY SIDE

To avoid battery exhaustion

Be sure to run the vehicle engine while using
this product. Using this product without run­ning the engine can drain the battery.

Rear view camera

With an optional rear view camera, you are
able to use the navigation system as an aid to
keep an eye on trailers, or backing into a tight
parking spot.

ОТ ГАРАНТИИ ИЛИ ОГРАНИЧЕНИЕ ОТ­ВЕТСТВЕННОСТИ КОМПАНИИ PIONEER,
УСТАНОВЛЕННЫЕ ДАННЫМ СОГЛАШЕ­НИЕМ, НЕ МОЖЕТ СЛУЖИТЬ ОСНОВА­НИЕМ ДЛЯ ИСКА ПО КАКИМ БЫ ТО НИ
БЫЛО ПРИЧИНАМ, ВЫ СОГЛАШАЕТЕСЬ
С ТЕМ, ЧТО ОТВЕТСТВЕННОСТЬ КОМПА­НИИ PIONEER НЕ ДОЛЖНА ПРЕВЫШАТЬ
ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ ПРОЦЕНТОВ (50%) ОТ
СТОИМОСТИ, УПЛАЧЕННОЙ ВАМИ ЗА
ПРИЛАГАЕМЫЙ ПРОДУКТ КОМПАНИИ

PIONEER.

Некоторые страны не разрешают исключе­ния или ограничения побочных или кос­венных убытков, поэтому вышеуказанные
ограничения или исключения могут быть
неприменимы к Вам. Данный отказ от га­рантии или ограничение ответственности
не распространяется на любые положения
данной гарантии, запрещенные зако­нодательством страны или местным зако­ном, которые не могут быть
предусмотрены заранее.

4 ГАРАНТИИ ЗАКОНА ОБ ЭКСПОРТЕ

Вы соглашаетесь и подтверждаете, что ни
Программное обеспечение, ни любые
другие технические данные, полученные
от компании Pioneer, ни сам продукт, не
будут экспортированы за пределы страны
или округа («Страна»), управляемой пра­вительством, под юрисдикцией которой вы
находитесь («Правительство») кроме тех
случаев, когда это санкционировано и раз­решено законами и нормативными актами
Правительства. Если Программное обе­спечение законно приобретено Вами за
пределами Страны, Вы соглашаетесь, что
Вы не будете осуществлять реэкспорт Про­граммного обеспечения, или любой другой
технической информации от компании
Pioneer, или самого продукта, за исключе­нием, если это не разрешено законом и
нормативными актами Правительства и за­конами и нормативными актами юрисдик­ции страны, где Вы приобрели это
Программное обеспечение.

5 ПРЕКРАЩЕНИЕ ДЕЙСТВИЯ СО­ГЛАШЕНИЯ

Настоящее Соглашение остается в силе до
своего прекращения. Вы можете в любое
время прекратить действие соглашения,
уничтожив Программное обеспечение.
Действие Соглашения будет также
прекращено, если Вы не выполняете
какие-либо условия данного Соглашения.
При расторжении Соглашения, Вы согла­шаетесь уничтожить Программное обе­спечение.

в полной силе и действительны.

6 ПРОЧЕЕ

Это полное Соглашение между компанией
Pioneer и Вами в отношении данного пред­мета соглашения. Никакие изменения дан­ного Соглашения не действительны, если
они не согласованы с компанией Pioneer в
письменном виде. Если какие-либо по­ложения настоящего Соглашения объяв­лены недействительными или не
имеющими исковой силы, остальные по-

ЭТО ЮРИДИЧЕСКОЕ СОГЛАШЕНИЕ
(«СОГЛАШЕНИЕ») МЕЖДУ ВАМИ, КОНЕЧ­НЫМ ПОЛЬЗОВАТЕЛЕМ, И КОМПАНИЕЙ
PIONEER и ее лицензиарами Продукта для
обработки данных (иногда обобщенно име­нуемых «Лицензиары»). ИСПОЛЬЗУЯ
СВОЙ КОМПЛЕКТ ЛИЦЕНЗИРОВАННЫХ
ДАННЫХ, ВЫ СОГЛАШАЕТЕСЬ С УСЛО­ВИЯМИ И ПОЛОЖЕНИЯМИ ДАННОГО
СОГЛАШЕНИЯ.

Предоставление лицензии.

Лицензиары предоставляют Вам не подле­жащую передаче, неэксклюзивную лицен­зию на использование картографических
данных и данных по топографическим
объектам (совместно именуемых
«Данные»), содержащихся на данных ди­сках, исключительно для личных,
некоммерческих целей, но не для исполь­зования в какой-либо сервисной службе
или какого-либо иного использования, по­дразумевающего доступ к данным других
лиц или организаций. Вы можете создавать
одну (1) копию Данных только в виде архи­ва или резервной копии, но Вы не можете
каким-либо другим образом копировать,
воспроизводить, модифицировать, созда­вать производные продукты, определять
структуру или выполнять инженерный ана­лиз Данных. Данные предназначены ис­ключительно для использования с
Продуктом (Продуктами) компании
PIONEER. Данные содержат конфиден­циальные и являющиеся предметом
собственности материалы и информацию,
и могут содержать коммерческие секреты,
поэтому, Вы соглашаетесь сохранять кон­фиденциальность Данных и не раскрывать
Данные ни в каком объеме и ни в какой
форме, включая передачу в арендное по­льзование, лизинг, выпуск в обращение, су­блицензирование или передачу Данных

третьей стороне. Вам в явной форме за­прещается пересылать цифровые карты и
программы, содержащиеся в Данных, или
переносить их на другой носитель данных
или компьютер. Вам запрещается исполь­зовать данные по топографическим объе­ктам (i) для создания списков почтовой
рассылки или (ii) для других подобных
целей.

Право собственности.

Авторские права на Данные принадлежат
Лицензиарам, и Лицензиары сохраняют за
собой все права собственности на Данные.
Вы соглашаетесь не изменять, не удалять,
не стирать или не искажать смысл каких­либо сведений об авторских правах или
письменной информации о правах
собственности, содержащихся в Данных
или на Данных. Текущие авторские права:

ЛИЦЕНЗИАРЫ ИЛИ ПОСТАВЩИКИ БЫЛИ
ПОСТАВЛЕНЫ В ИЗВЕСТНОСТЬ О ВОЗ­МОЖНОСТИ ТАКИХ УБЫТКОВ.

Прекращение действия.

Действие данного Соглашения прекратит­ся немедленно, автоматически и без
уведомления, если Вы нарушите любое из
условий данного Соглашения. Вы согла­шаетесь с тем, что в случае расторжения
Соглашения Вы должны вернуть Данные
(включая всю документацию и все эк­земпляры) компании PIONEER и ее по­ставщикам.

Освобождение от ответственности.

Вы соглашаетесь обеспечивать защиту
компании PIONEER, ее Лицензиаров и по­ставщиков (включая их лицензиаров, по­ставщиков, правопреемников, дочерние
компании, филиалы, служащих, директо­ров, сотрудников, акционеров, агентов и
представителей) от наступления какой бы
то ни было ответственности, включая от­ветственность за убытки и несчастные слу­чаи (включая несчастные случаи, ведущие
к гибели), требований, действий, затрат,
расходов или претензий любого рода,
включая, без ограничений, расходы на ус­луги адвокатов, являющихся следствием
использования или владения Вами Данны­ми.

ДАННОГО СОГЛАШЕНИЯ ИЛИ ИС­ПОЛЬЗОВАНИЯ ИЛИ НЕВОЗМОЖНО­СТИ ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЯ ДАННЫХ,
ДАЖЕ ЕСЛИ ОНА БЫЛА ПОСТАВЛЕНА
В ИЗВЕСТНОСТЬ О ВОЗМОЖНОСТИ
ТАКИХ УБЫТКОВ.

d Вам запрещается использовать данные

в любой печатной или публикуемой
форме, которая приводит к созданию
производных продуктов для свободного
распространения или продажи без пред­варительного разрешения со стороны
Государственной топографической
службы.

e Вы должны защищать Государственную

топографическую службу от каких бы то
ни было исков, претензий или действий,
вне зависимости от характера
претензий, исков или действий, ссылаю­щихся на убытки, расходы, ущербы, за­траты или несчастные случаи (включая
несчастные случае со смертельными ис­ходами), являющиеся следствием авто­ризованного или неавторизованного
использования, владения, модификации
или изменения Вами Данных.

f Конечный пользователь принимает на

себя обязанность предоставлять по за­просу в Государственную топографиче­скую службу информацию о том, какие
продукты и/или услуги, содержащие
Лицензионные продукты или производ­ные от них, он производит.

g Вы несете ответственность перед Го-

сударственной топографической служ­бой в случае обнаружения нарушения
вышеупомянутых условий Соглашения.

Дополнительные условия в отноше-

нии Данных только по Дании.

Вам запрещается использовать Данные
для создания карт для телефонных книг,
телефонных книг и других подобных
телефонным книгам продуктов (напр.,
справочников), включающих такие продук­ты в цифровом виде.

Дополнительные условия в отноше-

нии Данных только по Норвегии.

Вы не имеете права использовать Данные
для создания печатных или цифровых карт
общего назначения, которые идентичны
базовым национальным продуктам Карто­графического управления Норвегии.
(Любой производный продукт Данных в
Норвегии должен рассматриваться как
идентичный базовым национальным про­дуктам Картографического управления
Норвегии, если такой производный продукт
содержит топографические данные регио­нального или национального масштаба и,
в то же время, имеет содержание, масштаб
и формат, идентичные базовым нацио­нальным продуктам Картографического
управления Норвегии).

Вам запрещается использовать Данные
для создания печатных карт.

Разное.

Настоящее Соглашение между Лицом, вы­дающим лицензию, и вами является эк­склюзивным и полным. Ни одно из
положений настоящего Соглашения не по­дразумевает создание совместного пред­приятия, товарищества или формирования
отношений типа начальник-агент между
Лицом, выдающим лицензию, и вами. Раз­делы 2-4и 6-11не теряют свою силу
после истечения срока действия и рас­торжения настоящего Соглашения. Только
компания PIONEER имеет право изменить,
дополнить или внести поправки в на­стоящее Соглашение. Запрещается переу­ступать права и обязанности по
настоящему Соглашению без предва­рительного письменного согласия компа­нии PIONEER’. Вы подтверждаете и
понимаете, что к Данным могут применять­ся ограничения к вывозу, и обязуетесь обе­спечить соответствие применимым
экспортным законам. Если какое-либо по­ложение или часть положения данного Со­глашения теряет юридическую силу,
действительность или законность, то такое
положение или его часть удаляются из Со­глашения, а остальной объем Соглашения
не теряет юридической силы, остается
действительным и законным в максималь­но возможной степени. Любые примечания
к настоящему Соглашению должны до­ставляться курьером в компанию
PIONEER, Юридический отдел.

База данных

О Данных для Базы
данных карт

! Изменения расположения дорог, улиц/

шоссе, рельефа, строительства и
прочие события, произошедшие в
период разработки, могут не отразиться
в базе данных. Такие изменения
определенно не будут отображены в
базе данных по истечении этого пери­ода.

! Кроме существующих и вновь построен-

ных объектов, данные могут отличаться
от фактических условий.

! Строго запрещено воспроизведение, и

использование любой части или всей
карты в любой форме без разрешения
владельца авторского права.

! Если местные правила дорожного

движения или условия отличаются от
этих данных, соблюдайте местные пра­вила дорожного движения (такие как
знаки, указатели и пр.) и условия (такие
как здания, погода и т.д.).

! Данные о правилах дорожного движе-

ния, используемые в базах данных карт,
применимы только к пассажирским ав­томобилям стандартных размеров. Об­ратите внимание на то, что
крупногабаритные автомобили, мотоци­клы и другие нестандартные автомоби­ли не включены в это базу данных.

“Передний дисплей” и
“Задний дисплей”

В данном руководстве экран, прикреплен­ный к корпусу блока навигации, будет на­зываться “Передним дисплеем”. Любой
дополнительный экран, приобретенный
для использования вместе с блоком нави­гации, будет называться “Задним
дисплеем”.

“Видеоизображение”

Термин “Видеоизображение” в данном ру­ководстве означает движущиеся изображе­ния с DVD-Video, DivX
другого оборудования, например,AV-обо­рудования общего назначения, подключен­ного к данной системе с помощью RCA­кабеля.

Важные сведения о безопасности

ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ

! Не пытайтесь самостоятельно устанавли-

вать или обслуживать навигационную
систему. Установка или обслуживание на­вигационной системы лицами, не имеющи­ми подготовки и опыта работы с
электронным оборудованием и автомо­бильными дополнительными принадлеж­ностями, может быть опасной и может
привести к поражению электрическим
током или другим опасностям.

! При попадании жидкости или инородных

частиц внутрь навигационной системы
необходимо припарковать автомобиль в
безопасном месте и немедленно выклю­чить зажигание (ACC OFF), затем связать­ся с дилером или ближайшим
авторизированным сервисным центром
Pioneer. Запрещается эксплуатировать на­вигационную систему в таких условиях.
Это может привести к возгоранию, удару
током или ранению.

! Если вы заметили дым, необычные звуки

или запах, производимые навигационной
системой, или другие нехарактерные при­знаки на ЖК-экране, немедленно отклю­чите электропитание и свяжитесь с
дилером или ближайшим авторизирован­ным сервисным центром Pioneer. Исполь­зование навигационной системы в таких
условиях может привести к постоянному
повреждению системы.

! Запрещается демонтировать или модифи-

цировать навигационную систему, так как в
ее состав входят компоненты, работаю­щие под высоким напряжением,
вмешательство в которые может привести
к удару током. Информацию о внутреннем
контроле, выполнении регулировок или
ремонта можно получить у дилера или в
ближайшем авторизированном сервисном
центре Pioneer.

! Не допускайте попадания жидкостей на

изделие. Это может привести к электриче­скому удару. Попадание жидкостей может

привести к повреждениям, возникновению
дыма и перегреву изделия.

ВНИМАНИЕ

! При расчете маршрута автоматически про-

кладывается маршрут и устанавливается
голосовое управление по маршруту.
Также, что касается актуальности правил
дорожного движения, будет показан мар­шрут, который был рассчитан с учетом
данных о правилах дорожного движения,
используемых на данный момент времени.
Возможно, что улицы с односторонним
движением и тупиковые улицы не будут
приняты во внимание. Например, если
движение по улице открыто только в утрен­ние часы, а Ваша поездка выполняется
днем, это будет нарушением правил до­рожного движения и Вы не сможете прое­хать по этому маршруту. Во время
движения, пожалуйста, обращайте внима­ние на действующие дорожные знаки.
Также, система может не знать о некото­рых правилах дорожного движения.

p Не используйте данную навигационную

систему (или дополнительно приоб­ретаемую камеру заднего вида), если
это может отвлечь Ваше внимание от
безопасного управления автомобилем.
Всегда соблюдайте правила безопасно­го вождения и все существующие прави­ла дорожного движения. Если у Вас
возникли сложности с управлением
системы или с чтением информации с
дисплея, припаркуйте автомобиль в
безопасном месте и поставьте его на
стояночный тормоз прежде, чем выпол­нить необходимые регулировки.

p Никогда не позволяйте другим людям

использовать данную систему, если они
не ознакомились и не поняли данное ру­ководство по эксплуатации.

p Никогда не используйте данную навига-

ционную систему в чрезвычайных си­туациях для поездки в больницу,
полицейский участок или подобные
учреждения. Прекратите использование
любых функций, связанных с беспро­водной гарнитурой телефона и позво­ните по соответствующему номеру
экстренной службы.

p Сведения о маршруте и указания по

движению, отображаемые на дисплее
данного оборудованием, носят исклю­чительно справочный характер. Они
могут неточно отображать текущие раз­решенные маршруты, дорожные усло­вия, улицы с односторонним
движением, тупиковые улицы или огра­ничения движения.

p Ограничения движения и текущие пред-

упреждения об опасности должны
всегда иметь приоритет перед указания­ми по движению, которые даются нави­гационной системой. Всегда
соблюдайте действующие ограничения
по движению, даже если навигационная
система дает противоположное указа­ние.

p Если местное время установлено

неправильно, это может привести к

тому, что навигационная система будет
предлагать ошибочный маршрут и ука­зания по движению.

p Никогда не устанавливайте громкость

навигационной системы настолько вы­соко, что Вы не сможете слышать то,
что происходит вокруг Вас на дороге и
сигналы автомобилей технической по­мощи.

p В целях повышения безопасности, неко-

торые функции отключаются до тех пор,
пока автомобиль не будет остановлен и/
или не будет установлен на стояночный
тормоз.

p Данные, содержащиеся во встроенной

памяти, являются интеллектуальной
собственностью провайдера, который
несет ответственность за их содержа­ние.

p Держите под рукой данное руководство

в качестве справочника для получения
сведений о способах эксплуатации и
безопасности.

p Обратите особое внимание на все пред-

упреждения данного руководства, и
точно следуйте всем указаниям.

p Не устанавливайте систему навигации в

таких местах, где она может (i) затруд­нять обзор водителю, (ii) ухудшить рабо­ту любых систем управления
автомобилем или систем безопасности,
включая подушки безопасности или
кнопки аварийной сигнализации, или (iii)
ухудшать возможность водителя безо­пасно управлять автомобилем.

p Не забывайте пристегивать ремни безо-

содержится в базе данных карты. Скорост­ные ограничения базы данных могут не со­ответствовать фактическим ограничениям
текущей дороги. Данные значения не явля­ются определенными. Выбирайте скорост­ной режим в соответствии с фактическими
ограничениями скорости.

Блокировка стояночного
тормоза

Использование некоторых функций во
время движения (просмотр DVD-Video, а
также функции некоторых сенсорных кно­пок) навигационной системы может быть
опасно и/или незаконно. Во избежание ис­пользования данных функций во время
движения автомобиля используется систе­ма блокировки, которая определяет, когда
стояночный тормоз поднят, а когда автомо­биль движется. При попытке использова­ния этих функций во время движения, они
блокируются до остановки автомобиля в
безопасном месте и поднятия стояночного
тормоза. Перед тем как опустить стояноч­ный тормоз, выжмите педаль тормоза.

навигационной системой, припаркуйте ав­томобиль в безопасном месте. Находясь
на уклоне, прежде чем снять стояночный
тормоз, нажмите педаль тормоза. В про­тивном случае, при снятии со стояночного
тормоза автомобиль может начать движе­ние.

При попытке просмотреть “Видеоизо-
бражение” во время движения, на экране
появится предупреждающие сообщение

“Просмотр видеоматериалов во время
движения строго запрещен.”. Чтобы про-

смотреть “Видеоизображение” на экране,
остановите автомобиль в безопасном
месте и поднимите стояночный тормоз.
Перед тем как опустить стояночный тор­моз, выжмите педаль тормоза.

При использовании
экрана, подключенного к

REAR MONITOR OUTPUT

Выходной терминал видео (REAR MONI-
TOR OUTPUT) используется для подключе-

ния экрана, с которого пассажиры задних
сидений могут просматривать видеоизо­бражение.

ОСТОРОЖНО

ЗАПРЕЩАЕТСЯ устанавливать задний экран
в местах, с которых водитель может просмат­ривать видеоизображение во время управле­ния автомобилем.

Во избежание разрядки
аккумуляторных батарей

Во время использования продукта автомо­биль должен быть заведен. Использование
продукта при незапущенном двигателе
может привести к полной разрядке аккуму­ляторной батареи.

Не используйте систему в автомобилях, на
стартере которых отсутствует положение
АСС.

Камера заднего вида

С помощью дополнительной камеры за­днего вида можно использовать навига­ционную систему для наблюдения за
трейлерами, а также при парковке задним
ходом в ограниченном пространстве.
