Thebatterycanbeaccessedby
removingthecoverofthekeyfob.
Afteranewbatteryisinstalled,the
keyfobmustbesynchronizedwiththe
vehicle.
Synchronization
Thekeyfobmayneedtobe
synchronizedtothetruckwhenthe
batteryisreplacedorwhenthekeyfob
hasnotbeenusedforanextended
periodoftime.

1.Holdthekeyfobnearthereceiver
whichislocatedbehindthe
speedometerandtachometer.
2.PressandholdboththeLockand
Unlockbuttonsatthesametime
forapproximately7seconds.

2.Removethe
releasestud
assemblyfromthe
sidepocket,and
removetherelease
nutandwasherfrom
thereleasestud.
3.Slideoutthe
releasestud.
4.Inserttherelease
studthroughthe
openinginthespring
chamberwherethe
capwasremoved.
Insertitintothe
pressureplate.Turn
thereleasestud1/4
turnclockwiseinthe
pressureplate.This
securesthecross
pinintothecrosspin
areaofthepressure
plateandlocksitinto
themanualrelease
position.

andnutonthe
releasestud.
