What is a QR Code? A QR code is a square, 2-dimensional barcode that can be read by Smart Phones loaded with an appropriate Bar Code or QR Code Reader App. The App reads the barcode image then launches/uploads the specifi c information the code contains such as URLs, text, photos, videos, and so much more.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)
The indicator functions as both, Low Tire Pressure Light and TPMS Malfunction Indicator.
If one or more tires are signifi cantly under-infl ated the indicator will illuminate. Other causes for the indicator to illuminate are a spare tire without TPMS or a change in temperature (cold).
• Infl ate tire(s) to specifi cations to turn o Low Tire Pressure Light the front driver’s door jamb.
• The TPMS Malfunction Indicator for approximately one minute when there is a problem with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. See your dealer for service.
NOTE: Consult your dealer for service if Low Tire Pressure Light remains illuminated after infl ating your tire(s).

• Tire pressure should be checked at least once a month. Only adjust tire pressure on “cold tires.”
• For proper maintenance, safety, and maximum fuel economy, you must always maintain recommended tire infl ation pressures and stay within the load limits and weight distribution recommended for your vehicle.

HYBRID INDICATORS AT STARTUP
ECO GUIDE —Indicates how economically
the vehicle is being driven.
• Green zone: High e ciency range
• White zone: Normal e ciency range
• Red zone: Low e ciency range
EV MODE —Illuminates when the vehicle is
operated by electric motor power only.
READY —Illuminates when the hybrid system is
operational. Even if the engine is o , the vehicle can be driven.
State of Charge (SOC) —Displays the hybrid
battery charge status
Active ECO (EcoDynamics) —Automatically
activated each time the vehicle is started. Turn system ON/OFF using the ECO button on the steering wheel.
• EcoDynamics ON: Adjusts the engine, transaxle and A/C system to conserve fuel
• EcoDynamics OFF: Provides more power when driving up steep roads or carrying heavy loads
WARNI NG: Avoid starting the vehicle when the fuel tank is empty. As the engine will be incapable of charging the high voltage hybrid battery, the battery will lose its charge and may be damaged.

Service Indicator —Illuminates when a malfunction
occurs in the vehicle’s hybrid system. Have an authorized Kia dealer address the concern as soon as possible.

ACTIVE ECO (EcoDynamics)
The Active ECO indicator A is identifi ed on your instrument cluster by the “ECO” name. Active ECO helps to improve fuel e ciency by adjusting the performance of the engine, transaxle, and air conditioning for best possible fuel economy. Fuel economy depends on the driver’s driving habits and road conditions.
