Cartridge yields are based on cont inuous printing of a suite of five black and color pages as required by ISO/IEC 24711 and 24712. Actual yields will vary considerably for reasons including
image s printed, print setting s, temperature and humidity. Yields may be lower when printing infrequently or predominantly wit h one ink color. A variable am ount of ink remains in the c artridges
after the “replace cartridg e” signal. Part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming th e printer. Ink is used for both printing and print head mainte nance. All inks
