Prospects

The new range of design and performance features introduced by the FlexScan L367 clearly establish EIZO’s next generation MultiEdge series as the high-end choice of display for today’s business, back office and administrative users. The inclusion of EIZO original functions such as Fine Contrast, gamma correction, and DesktopViewer, as well as support for Seiko Epson Corporation’s PRINT Image Matching (P.I.M.) II technology deliver the high-precision image control required by complex text and graphics-based applications. Advanced capabilities like digital/analog inputs, 250 cd/m2 brightness, and 450:1 contrast ratio are complemented by a wealth of ergonomic refinements that successfully integrate higher levels of functionality with even greater ease of use.

With ultra-slim side bezels only 10 mm wide, the newly designed cabinet is more space-efficient than ever. Navigating is easier too — control buttons are now arranged in a simple cross pattern, and set on a 3-tier front operating panel. The desktop stand is height adjustable over a range of 50 mm, or you can recover the whole desktop by utilizing the VESA compliant mounting bracket.

A one-touch button on the front panel accesses five specialized image adjustment modes: Text, Picture, Movie, Custom and sRGB, each with its own settings for parameters such as color temperature, brightness and saturation. Using the bundled ScreenManager Pro for LCD1 software’s Auto Fine Contrast function, any mode can be assigned to a given application so that when the application is opened, the screen changes automatically to that mode.

This EIZO-designed utility2 can display a JPG, BMP or TIFF image, or any selected part of the screen, in an overlay window to a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, as well as enlarging or reducing it and freely altering its brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and gamma values3.
