AC cord connector pins ( with unit NOT connected to AC mains and its Power switch ON ), and the face or Front Panel of product and controls and chassis bottom. Any resistance measurement less than 2 Megohms should cause unit to be repaired or corrected before AC power is applied, and verifi ed before it is return to the user/customer. Ref. 2.1 Confi rming Microcomputer Firmware Version
[ Using the front panel ]
1. While in stop and shift mode, press the MENU/STORE/
UTILITY button.
2. Turn the jog wheel until “FW version” appear in the
display.
3. Press the jog wheel. The Display switches to the fi rmware
version.
4. Press the STOP/CANCEL button to cancel.
[ Using the remote control unit ]
1. While in stop mode, press the UTILITY button.
2. Press the 3 button or the 4 button until “F/W version”
appear in the display.
3. Press the ENTER button. The Display switches to the
fi rmware version.
4. Press the STOP button to cancel.
2.1 マイコンファームウェアのバージョン確認

1. STOP モードでかつ、SHIFT モードのときに、
STORE/UTILITY
2. FW version” がディスプレイに表示されるまでジョグダ イヤルを回します。
3. ジョグダイヤルを押します。ディスプレイ表示がファーム ウェアバージョンに切り替わります。
4. 取り消す場合は、

2.2 Microcomputer Firmware Update
Use the disc that holds the Version Up fi le to rewrite the
microcomputer fi rmware.
1. Insert CD-R with Version Up fi le (DNC640up.bin) to start
Update.
2. LCD displays “F/W Update” for one second, then displays
“X-X.XX_OK?”. The “OK?” display fl ashes.
The version number displayed on the LCD is the version
number to be updated.
3. Pressing the jog wheel while “X-X.XX_OK?” is displayed
executes the update.
4. Pressing the STOP/CANCEL button while “X-X.XX_OK?”
is displayed initiates normal launch without executing the
update.
5. During update, the “Update” display fl ashes.
6. Normal launch will be initiated if Version UP fi le version
and installed version are the same.
7. The microcomputer is automatically reset and re-
launches.
It may not work properly if the power is turned off during
update causing damages to the fi les in the memory.

Version Upファイルが記録されたディスクを使用して、マイ コンのファームを書き換えます。
1. Version Up ファイル(DNC640up.bin) が記 録された CD-R ディスクを挿入すると Update を開始します。
2. LCD に「F/W Update」を 1秒間表示後、LCD に「X-X. XX_OK?」を表 示します。「OK?」表 示は点滅します。 LCD に表示されるバージョン番号はこれからアップデー
トするバージョン番号です。
3. X-X.XX_OK?」表示中にジョグダイヤルを押すとUpdate を実行します。

STOP/CANCEL
ボタンを押す
Updateしないで通常起動します。
5. Update 実行中は「Update」表示が点滅します。
6. Version Up ファイルのバージョンと本体のバージョンが
同じ場合は通常起動します。
7. 自動的にリセットを行い、再起動します。
Update 中に電源を切るとメモリ内部のファイルが破壊さ
れ正常に動作しなくなりますので注意して下さい。

microcomputer fi rmware.

displays “Drive_OK?” The “OK?” display fl ashes.
3. Pressing the jog wheel while “Drive_OK?” is displayed
executes the update.
4. Pressing the STOP/CANCEL button while “Drive_OK?”
is displayed initiates normal launch without executing the
update.
5. During update, the “Update” display fl ashes.
6. The CD-R disc is automatically ejected after Update.
7. “Drive Success” displays on LCD for one second, and
then the power turns off automatically.
It may not work properly if the power is turned off during
update causing damages to the fi les in the memory.
