Carica delle batterie

IMPORTANTE: Utilizzate soltanto il caricabatteria originale fornito con l’apparecchio. Non caricate l’apparecchio con temperature inferiori a 0°C e superiori a 40°C.

Nota Bene:

Prima di usare l’apparecchio per la prima volta, la batteria deve essere mes­ sa in carica per le seguenti ore a seconda del modello:

-XLR 18 e XLR 24: 12 ore

-XLR 18Li e XLR 24Li: 2.30 ore

Quando è in carica l’apparecchio non è utilizzabile. Al termine del ciclo di ca­ rica tutti e 3 i led luminosi rimangono accesi. Quando la batteria è comple­ tamente scarica i 3 LED lampeggiano e l’apparecchio non si avvia. Conviene mettere l’apparecchio in carica dopo l’uso per renderlo sempre disponibile con la batteria completamente carica. L’apparecchio può restare in carica co­ stantemente senza alcun rischio. In caso di assenza prolungata (vacanze...) è preferibile scollegarlo. Dopo ogni carica completa i tempi di funzionamento dell’apparecchio sono i seguenti a seconda del modello:

Sostituzione delle batterie

A batterie esaurite , per la loro sostituzione, rivolgetevi al Centro di Assisten­ za autorizzato a voi più vicino. Non usare altri tipi di batterie.

Smaltimento dell’apparecchio

Ai sensi della direttiva Europea 2002/96/EC, non smaltire l’apparecchio insieme ai rifiuti domestici ma consegnatelo ad un centro di raccolta differenziata ufficiale.

In caso di smaltimento dell’apparecchio è necessario rimuovere la batteria.

Nonsmaltirelabatteriaconrifiutidomesticimaconsegnarla agliappositi punti di raccolta per il riciclaggio.

Rimozione delle batterie (vedi fig. 32-35)

Per la rimozione delle batterie rivolgetevi al Centro di Assistenza autorizzato a voi più vicino, o procedere come segue:

•Scaricarecompletamentelebatterieprimadirimuoverle.

•Rimuovere il manico (A) svitando la vite di bloccaggio (C).

•Rimuovereilcontenitoreraccoglipolvere(J).

•Rimuoverelagriglia(vedifig.32)elacalotta(vedifig.33).

•Mod. XLR 18 Li - XLR 24Li: svitarelevitidifissaggio(vedifig.34)e scollegare la batteria.

•Mod. XLR 18 - XLR 24 scollegarelabatteriaerimuoverla(vedifig.35).

Attenzione!

L’apparecchio non deve essere collegato al caricabatterie quando si rimuovono le batterie.

Fundamental safety warnings

It is not intended to be used in: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

•The manufacturer reserves the right to modify appliances and tools without warning.

Original spare parts and tools should always be used to maintain the efficiency of your appliance and avoid invalidating the guarantee.

Charging the batteries

IMPORTANT: Use the original battery charger supplied with the appliance only. Do not charge the appliance in temperatures of less than 0°C or more than 40°.

Please note:

Beforeusingtheapplianceforthefirsttime,thebatterymustbechargedfor the following times depending on the model:

-XLR 18 and XLR 24: 12 hours

-XLR 18Li and XLR 24Li: 2.30 hours

While being charged, the appliance cannot be used.

At the end of the charging cycle, all three LEDs are lit. When the battery is completely flat, the three LEDs flash and the appliance does not start up. It is good practice to charge the appliance after each cleaning session to ensure it is always ready for use with the battery fully charged. The applian­ ce can be left constantly in charge in complete safety. In the event of long absences (holidays…) it is best to unplug it. After each complete charge, the appliance operates for the following times, depending on the model:

Replacing the batteries

When the batteries are exhausted, have them replaced by your local custo­ mer services. Do not use other types of batteries.

Disposing of the appliance

In compliance with European directive 2002/96/EC, the appliance must not be disposed of with household waste, but taken to an authorised waste separation and recycling centre.

If you dispose of the appliance, you must remove the battery.

Never dispose of the battery with household waste. Take it to a special col­ lection point for recycling.

Removing the batteries (see fig. 32 -35)

To remove the batteries, contact your local customer services or proceed as follows:

•Makesurethebatteriesarecompletelyflatbeforeremoving.

•Removethehandle(A)byunscrewingthelockscrew(C).

•Removethedustcontainer(J).

•Removethegrille(seefig.32)andcasing(seefig.33).

•Model XLR 18Li - Model XLR 24Li:unscrewthefixingscrews (seefig.34)and disconnectthebattery.

•Model XLR 18 - XLR 24: disconnect the battery and remove it

(seefig.35).

Important!

Make sure the appliance is not connected to the battery charger before removing the batteries.
