Electrical requirements (UK ONLY) 
Before using this appliance ensure that the voltage indicated on the product corresponds with the main voltage in your home, if you are in any doubt about your supply contact your local electricity company.
The flexible mains lead is supplied connected to a B.S. 1363 fused plug having a fuse of 13 amp capacity.
Should this plug not fit the socket outlets in your home, it should be cut off and replaced with a suitable plug, following the procedure outlined below.
Note: Such a plug cannot be used for any other appliance and should therefore be properly disposed of and not left where children might find it and plug it into a supply socket - with the obvious consequent danger.
N.B. We recommend the use of good quality plugs and wall sockets that can be switched off when the machine is not in use. important: the wires in the mains lead fitted to this appliance are coloured in accordance with the following code:

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
-The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol 
or coloured green or green and yellow.
-The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
-The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
When wiring the plug, ensure that all strands of wire are securely retained in each terminal. Do not forget to tighten the mains lead clamp on the plug. If your electricity supply point has only two pin socket outlets, or if you are in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
Should the mains lead ever require replacement, it is essential that this operation be carried out by a qualified electrician and should only be replaced with a flexible cord of the same size.
After replacement of a fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover is lost, the plug must not be used until a replacement cover is obtained. The colour of the correct replacement fuse cover is that of the coloured insert in the base of the fuse recess or else where on the plug. Always state this colour when ordering a replacement fuse cover.
Only 13amp replacement fuses which are asta approved to B.S. 1362 should be fitted.
This appliance conforms to the Norms EN 55014 regarding the suppression of radio interference.

Avvertenze fondamentali per la sicurezza

Pericolo di scosse elettriche!
•Staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente quando l’apparecchio non è in uso o prima di eseguire qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione o pulizia dell’apparecchio stesso.
•Non cercare di mettere in funzione un apparecchio che sembri difettoso.

Attenzione!

•Quando si aspira sporco molto fine (es. talco, farina) si renderà necessaria una pulizia più frequente del filtro: ciò per garantire un’ottimale funzionamento dell’apparecchio. Per la pulizia, non utilizzare spazzolini in acciaio o con setole dure in quanto potrebbero lacerare i materiali dei filtri.

Before using the appliance, remove the elements protecting the dust container B and connect the hose to the handgrip.
Using the appliance (page 41)
Adjust the length of the telescopic tube, attach the tool suitable for the cleaning to be done and turn the appliance on. You can adjust the suction power with the regulator Z.
EPS - Electronic protection system
The EPS device is activated when the filters are clogged. The lightonthecontrolpanelflashes.
If you continue to use the appliance once the light has come on, the vacuum power is reduced automatically. This is a safety device to avoid damage to the motor.
To start cleaning again, turn the appliance off, empty the container and proceed cleaning (cleaning, pag. 42).
Cleaning (pag. 42)
To keep the appliance vacuuming efficiently, the filter of the dust container, the HEPA filter and its protection should be cleaned whenever the EPS is activated or at least once every six months. Before reinserting the impeller sponge filter, make sure it is dry.
Warning: If you need to immediately use the appliance, brush and shake the filters, without carrying out the washing.

The appliance is provided with a hose tidy system on the bottom to enable it to be put away safely and tidily

Avant d’utiliser l’appareil éliminer les éléments de protection du bac à poussière B et raccorder le tube flexible à l’appareil etàlapoignée.

Régler la longueur du tube télescopique, placer sur l’appareil l’accessoire adapté au nettoyage à effectuer, mettre l’appareil en marche. Il est possible de régler la capacité d’aspiration à l’aide du régulateur Z.
EPS – Electronic protection system (système de protection électronique)
Le dispositif EPS se déclenche quand les filtres sont encrassés et le voyant R se met à clignoter. En cas d’utilisation prolongé
après l’allumage de ce voyant, la puissance de l’appareil est réduite automatiquement: c’est un dispositif de sécurité qui permet de ne pas endommager le moteur. Pour utiliser de nouveau l’appareil il faut l’éteindre et nettoyer les filtres (nettoyage,page42).
Nettoyage (page 42)
Pour assurer l’efficacité de l’aspiration de l’appareil nettoyer le filtre du bac à poussière, le filtre HEPA et sa protection chaque foisquel’EPSsedéclencheoudanstouslescastousles6mois.
Avant de remettre le filtre en éponge du cylindre rotatif s’assurer qu’il est bien sec.
Attention : S’il faut remettre immédiatement l’appareil en marche brosser et secouer les filtres, sans les laver.
Système de rangement (park system – page 41)
Pour permettre de ranger l’appareil de façon sûre et correcte, l’aspirateur est doté à la base d’un système de logement du tube.

Die EPS-Vorrichtung aktiviert sich, wenn die Filter verstopft
sind und durch die blinkende Kontrolllampe R angezeigt werden. Bei länger andauerndem Gebrauch verringert sich nach EinschaltendiesesAnzeigersdieLeistungdesGerätesautomatisch:DiesisteineSicherheitsvorrichtung,umSchädenamMotor zu verhindern. Damit der Gebrauch wieder aufgenommen werdenkann,mussdasGerätausgeschaltetunddieReinigung vorgenommenwerden(ReinigungS.42).
Reinigung (S. 42)
Um die Saugleistung des Gerätes zu gewährleisten mit der Reinigung des Filters im Staubbehälter, des HEPA-Filters und des Schutzes immer dann fortfahren, wenn das EPS-System anspricht oder mindestens ein Mal alle 6 Monate. Vor Einsetzen des Filterschwamms des Gebläserades sicherstellen, dass diesertrockenist.
Achtung: Sollte die sofortige Wiederinbetriebnahme des Gerätes erforderlich sein, die Filter bürsten und schütteln, ohne eine Säuberung vorzunehmen.
Parkposition (park system - S. 41)
