About TiVo for BlackBerry devices
About TiVo for BlackBerry devices
You can use TiVo® for BlackBerry® devices to interact remotely with your TiVo® DVR using your device.
The design and look of this application is based on your TiVo DVR at home, to give you a familiar experience and provide you with many of the
same features and benefits. With TiVo for BlackBerry devices, you can perform the following actions:
• record a single episode of a program or each episode in a program series with a Season Pass® recording
• set recording preferences in advance for the 1-Click recording feature
• browse for programs by category or search for programs by title, keyword, actor or director
• view the most popular programs, as chosen by other TiVo users, or recommendations for other programs that you might like
• view the daily picks, based on the TiVo rating system, and check the availability of these programs for your DVR and channel lineup
System requirements

TiVo® DVR an active Series2™ or Series3™ TiVo DVR

Sign in
You need to activate your TiVo® DVR before signing in.
After signing in, you remain signed in until you sign out.
1. On the Home screen, in the Downloads folder, click the TiVo DVR Scheduler icon.
2. In the Email field, enter the email address that you used to activate your TiVo DVR.
3. In the Password field, enter the password for the email address.
4. Click Sign in.
5. If you have more than one active TiVo DVR, complete the instructions on the screen to choose your DVR.
To sign out, on any screen, press the Menu key. Click Sign out.

Browse for a program by category
1. On the Home screen, in the Downloads folder, click the TiVo DVR Scheduler icon.
2. If necessary, sign in.
3. On the main screen, click Browse by category.
4. Click a category that you want to explore.
Select a program to view the description or recording options.
Search for a program
1. On the Home screen, in the Downloads folder, click the TiVo DVR Scheduler icon.
2. If necessary, sign in.
3. On the main screen, perform one of the following actions:
• Click Search by Title. Type the title or part of the title for the program that you want to find.
• Click Search by Actor/Director. Type the name of the actor or director who is part of the program that you want to find.
• Click Search by Keyword. Type one or more keywords for the program that you want to find.
4. Click Search.
Select a program to view the description or recording options.
Record a program
1. On the Home screen, in the Downloads folder, click the TiVo DVR Scheduler icon.
2. If necessary, sign in.
3. Browse or search for a program.
4. On the Program Info screen, perform one of the following actions:
• Click Record this episode or Record this program. Complete your preferences for the recording options.
• If you set up 1-Click recording, click 1-Click record.
5. Click OK.
Set up 1-Click recording
The 1-Click recording feature allows you to set up your program recording preferences in advance, so you can record an episode of a program
with one click.
1. On the Home screen, in the Downloads folder, click the TiVo DVR Scheduler icon.

2. If necessary, sign in.
3. On the main screen, click Settings.
4. Click 1-Click recording options.
5. Set your recording preferences.
6. Click Save.
About TiVo for BlackBerry devices
Record each episode in a program series
A Season Pass® recording records each episode in a program series. Any special episode that is not part of the series needs to be recorded
separately.
1. On the Home screen, in the Downloads folder, click the TiVo DVR Scheduler icon.
2. If necessary, sign in.
3. Browse or search for a program.
4. On the Program Info page, click Get a Season Pass.
5. Set your recording preferences.
6. Click Continue.
7. Click OK.
Check for updates
You can check for the latest version of TiVo® for BlackBerry® devices.
1. On the Home screen, in the Downloads folder, click the TiVo DVR Scheduler icon.
2. If necessary, sign in.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Check for updates.

features. Installation or use of Third Party Products and Services with RIM's products and services may require one or more patent, trademark,
copyright, or other licenses in order to avoid infringement or violation of third party rights. You are solely responsible for determining whether
to use Third Party Products and Services and if any third party licenses are required to do so. If required you are responsible for acquiring them.
