When using the

,
turn the transceiver VOX off.
Microphone
Note: Position your mouth about 1/2” (1.2 cm) away from the microphone opening and speak in a normal voice.
The belt clip may be rotated
EAR (Earphone) Jack
Connect the Earphone (SEP-10) to this jack.
Do not allow the SSM-14A to become submerged in water
while an earbud is attached, or while the EAR jack rubber cap is removed.
360 degrees, allowing for di­verse attachment positions.
Important note
To insure continuous water and dust proof performance, screw the
SSM-14A
cord connector securely to the nection on the transceiver.
