HINWEIS

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Das Gerät darf nur vollständig montiert verwendet werden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).

Sicherheitshinweise

GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sockel mit den elektrischen

Anschlüssen niemals mit Wasser in Berührung kommt! Lassen
Sie den Sockel erst vollständig trocknen, wenn er versehentlich
feucht geworden ist.

► Verwenden Sie den Wasserkocher nur mit dem mitgelieferten

Sockel.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel niemals

nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht einge­klemmt oder anderweitig beschädigt werden kann.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort

von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch immer den Stecker aus der

Steckdose. Ausschalten alleine genügt nicht, weil noch immer
Netzspannung im Gerät anliegt, solange der Netzstecker in
der Steckdose steckt.

► Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere

sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes oder herunter­gefallenes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.

► Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten

Fachbetrieben oder dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch
unsachgemäße Reparaturen können Gefahren für den Benutzer
entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten! Hier kann Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen
Schlag entstehen, wenn im Betrieb Flüssigkeitsreste auf span­nungsführende Teile gelangen.

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Erhitzen Sie Wasser immer nur bei geschlossenem Deckel,

andernfalls funktioniert die Abschaltautomatik nicht. Kochendes
Wasser kann dann über den Rand herausspritzen.

► Es können heiße Dampfschwaden entweichen. Die Kanne

ist zudem im Betrieb sehr heiß. Tragen Sie daher Topf-Hand­schuhe.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät stabil und senkrecht steht,

bevor Sie dieses einschalten. Kochendes Wasser kann ein
unstabil stehendes Gerät zum Umstürzen bringen.

► Öffnen Sie nicht den Deckel, während das Wasser kocht.
► Geräte können von Personen mit reduzierten physischen,

sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an
Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des
Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren verstanden haben.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber be-

nutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden

Reinigung und die Wartung durch den Benutzer dürfen nicht
durch Kinder vorgenommen werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8

fernzuhalten.

► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

► Betreiben Sie das Gerät immer mit eingesetztem Kalkfiltereinsatz.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates

Fernwirksystem, um das Gerät zu betreiben.

► Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebes niemals unbe-

aufsichtigt.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der

Netzstecker nicht mit heißen Quellen, wie Kochplatten oder
offenen Flammen, in Berührung kommen.

Vorbereitungen

Auspacken

Ƈ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem

Karton.

Ƈ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs­materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichts­punkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungs­materialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

HINWEIS

► Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garan-

tiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß
verpacken zu können.

Inbetriebnahme

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Verwenden Sie immer nur frisches Trinkwasser im Wasserkocher! Ver-

zehren Sie kein Wasser, welches nicht als Trinkwasser ausgewiesen ist.
Ansonsten besteht die Gefahr von Gesundheitsschäden!

Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass ...

– das Gerät, Netzstecker und Netzkabel in einwandfreiem Zustand sind

und...

– alle Verpackungsmaterialien vom Gerät entfernt sind.

1) Öffnen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie die Entriegelungstaste  drücken.

2) Befüllen Sie das Gerät mit Wasser bis zur Markierung MAX und lassen Sie
es einmal ganz aufkochen – wie im nächsten Kapitel beschrieben.

3) Gießen Sie dieses Wasser nach dem Aufkochen weg.

4) Spülen Sie die Kanne mit klarem Wasser aus.

5) Befüllen Sie das Gerät noch einmal mit Wasser bis zur Markierung MAX und
lassen Sie es aufkochen. Gießen Sie auch dieses Wasser weg.

6) Spülen Sie die Kanne mit klarem Wasser aus.

Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!

► Bringen Sie niemals den elektrischen Sockel  in die Nähe von Wasser –

Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag!

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Verwenden Sie immer frisches Trinkwasser. Verzehren Sie kein Wasser,

welches schon länger als eine Stunde im Wasserkocher gestanden hat.
Kochen Sie kein erkaltetes Wasser erneut auf. Schütten Sie altes Wasser
immer weg. Es können sich Keime bilden!

HINWEIS

► Stellen Sie immer sicher, dass der EIN-/AUS-Schalter  in der Stellung

„0“ (aus) steht, wenn der Netzstecker gezogen ist und das Gerät auf dem
Sockel  steht. Ansonsten heizt das Gerät unbeabsichtigt auf, sobald Sie
den Netzstecker mit dem Stromnetz verbinden.

1) Nehmen Sie die Kanne ab zum Befüllen!

2) Öffnen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie die Entriegelungstaste  drücken.

HINWEIS

►

Halten Sie beim Befüllen die Kanne senkrecht. Nur dann können Sie die
Skala  richtig ablesen.

3) Befüllen Sie die Kanne maximal bis zur Markierung MAX, damit kein kochen­des Wasser herausschwappt.

4) Schließen Sie erst den Deckel und setzen danach die Kanne so auf den
Sockel , dass diese fest auf dem Sockel  steht.

5) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.

6) Drücken Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter  nach unten (Stellung „I“), so dass er
einrastet.

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Aus Sicherheitsgründen sollten Sie den Deckel nicht öffnen, wenn das

Wasser kocht oder sehr heiß ist. Es besteht die Gefahr von Verbrühungen.

7) Die Beleuchtung im EIN-/AUS-Schalter  zeigt an, dass das Gerät nun
aufheizt.

8) Sobald das Wasser kocht, schaltet sich das Gerät aus, der EIN-/AUS-Schal­ter  springt nach oben und die Beleuchtung erlischt.

HINWEISE

► Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet: wenn das Ge-

rät versehentlich eingeschaltet wird, ohne dass sich Wasser in der Kanne
befindet, schaltet das Gerät sich automatisch aus.
Wenn, zum Beispiel aufgrund eines nicht geschlossenen Deckels, das
Gerät trockenläuft, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus.
Lassen Sie in diesen Fällen das Gerät erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es erneut
verwenden.

Reinigung und Pflege

GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!

► Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose!

Ansonsten besteht Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!

► Öffnen Sie niemals irgendwelche Gehäuseteile. Es befinden sich keinerlei

Bedienelemente darin. Bei geöffnetem Gehäuse kann Lebensgefahr beste­hen durch elektrischen Schlag.

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten!
Hier kann Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag entstehen, wenn im
Betrieb Flüssigkeitsreste auf spannungsführende Teile gelangen.

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung abkühlen. Verbrennungsgefahr!

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Benutzen Sie keine scheuernden oder ätzenden Reinigungsmittel. Diese

können die Oberfläche angreifen und das Gerät irreparabel beschädigen.

■ Reinigen Sie alle Außenflächen und das Netzkabel mit einem leicht ange-

feuchteten Spültuch. Trocknen Sie das Gerät auf jeden Fall gut ab, bevor Sie
es erneut verwenden. Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein
mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich keine Spülmittel­reste am und im Gerät befinden, bevor Sie es wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

■ Spülen Sie das Innere der Kanne mit klarem Wasser aus.

■ Bei Ablagerungen in der Kanne wischen Sie die Innenflächen mit einem

feuchten Tuch ab oder benutzen Sie eine Spül- oder Flaschenbürste. Spülen
Sie die Kanne danach noch einmal mit klarem Wasser aus.

Bei Kalk-Rückständen

Kalkablagerungen im Gerät führen zu Energieverlusten und beeinträchtigen die
Lebensdauer des Gerätes.
Entkalken Sie das Gerät, sobald sich Kalkablagerungen zeigen.

■ Nehmen Sie einen für Lebensmittelbehälter geeigneten Kalklöser aus dem

Haushaltswarengeschäft (z. B. Kaffeemaschinen-Entkalker). Gehen Sie wie in
der Bedienungsanleitung des Kalklösers beschrieben vor.

■ Reinigen Sie nach dem Entkalken das Gerät mit viel klarem Wasser.

Kalkfiltereinsatz abnehmen / einsetzen

1) Öffnen Sie den Deckel.

2) Greifen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz  an der Lasche, drücken Sie die Lasche
etwas herunter und ziehen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz  etwas nach innen. Sie
können ihn dann nach oben herausnehmen.

3) Reinigen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz  mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Spül­tuch und unter fließendem Wasser.

4) Setzen Sie nach dem Reinigen den Kalkfiltereinsatz  wieder ein. Achten
Sie darauf, dass dieser korrekt einrastet.

HINWEIS

► Sollten sich Kalkrückstände im Kalkfiltereinsatz  festgesetzt haben, legen

Sie ihn für einige Stunden in eine Wasser-Essig-Lösung in einem Verhältnis
von 6:1. Die Kalkrückstände lösen sich. Spülen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz 
mit viel klarem Wasser ab.

Aufbewahren

■ Lassen Sie das Gerät erst vollständig auskühlen, bevor Sie es wegstellen.

■ Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die Kabelaufwicklung  unter dem Sockel .

■ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Ort.

Gerät entsorgen

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.

Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre

kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.
Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

Hinweise zur EG-Konformitätserklärung

Dieses Gerät entspricht hinsichtlich Übereinstimmung mit den
grundlegenden Anforderungen und den anderen relevanten
Vorschriften der europäischen Richtlinie für elektromagneti­sche Verträglichkeit 2014/30/EU sowie der Niederspan­nungsrichtlinie 2014/35/EU.

Die vollständige Original-Konformitätserklärung ist beim
Importeur erhältlich.

Garantie der Kompernaß Handels GmbH

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von Mängeln

dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu.
Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden dargestellte Garantie
nicht eingeschränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original-Kassenbon
gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für Sie
kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb
der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und
schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte oder
ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts beginnt kein
neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für
ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und
Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der
Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Aus­lieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt
sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als
Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder
gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedie­nungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten. Verwendungszwecke
und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen
gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei
Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen
wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Abwicklung im Garantiefall

Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie bitte den
folgenden Hinweisen:

▯ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer

(z. B. IAN 12345) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.

▯ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild, einer Gravur, auf dem

Titelblatt ihrer Anleitung (unten links) oder als Aufkleber auf der Rück- oder
Unterseite.

▯ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten, kontaktieren Sie zunächst

Safety instructions

RISK - ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

► Ensure that the base with the electrical connections NEVER

comes into contact with water! Ensure that the base is
completely dry before use, especially if it has accidentally
become wet.

► Use the kettle only with the supplied base.
► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp

during operation. Lay the cable so that it cannot be trapped
or otherwise damaged.

► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or cables to

be replaced at once by qualified technicians or our Custom­er Service Department.

► After use, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power

socket. Switching the appliance off is not sufficient, because
the appliance is under power for as long as the plug is con­nected to the power socket.

► Before use check the appliance for signs of visible external

damage. Do not put into operation an appliance that is
damaged or has been dropped.

► Repairs should only be carried out by authorized specialist

companies or by the Customer Service department. Incom­petent repairs can result in significant risks for the user. In
addition warranty claims become void.

NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
You could receive a fatal electric shock if residual liquids
come into contact with live components during operation.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

► Heat water only with the lid closed, otherwise the automatic

switch-off cannot function. Boiling water could then spray out
over the rim.

► Hot steam clouds may be released. The kettle also becomes

very hot during use. It is always best to wear oven mitts
when handling the kettle.

► Ensure that the appliance is stood stably and vertically before

switching it on. Boiling water can cause an unstable kettle to fall
over.

► Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
► This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/
or knowledge if they are supervised or, in regard to the safe
use of the appliance, have been instructed in its use and
have understood the potential risks.

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or

more if they are supervised or, in regard to the safe use of
the appliance, have been instructed in its use and have un­derstood the potential risks. Cleaning and user maintenance
tasks should not be carried out by children unless they are
aged 8 years or more and are supervised. The device and its
connecting cable must be kept away from children younger
than 8 years old.

► Children may not play with the appliance.
► Do not fill the kettle above the MAX mark! Otherwise boiling

water may spill out!

► Do not operate the appliance without the scale filter insert.

► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote

control system to operate the appliance.

► Never leave the appliance unsupervised whilst in use.
► Ensure that the appliance, the power cable and the plug do

not come into contact with hot plates or open flames.

Ƈ Remove all components of the appliance and the operating manual from

the carton.

Ƈ Remove all packing material.

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is
no longer needed according to the regionally established regulations.

NOTICE

► If possible, preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can pack the appliance

ideally for its return.

Initial use

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

► Always and only use freshly drawn mains water in the kettle! Do not con-

sume any water that is not certified as potable. If you do, you are taking a

risk with your health!

Before starting the appliance up, make certain that ...

– the appliance, plug and power cable are in a serviceable condition

and ...

– all packaging materials have been removed from the appliance.

1) Open the lid by pressing on the release button .

2) Fill the appliance with water up to the MAX mark and let it come to a full
boil once – as described in the next section.

3) After it has boiled, pour this water away.

4) Rinse the kettle out with clear water.

5) Refill the appliance with water up to the MAX mark, and then bring it to the
boil. When done, pour this water away also.

6) Rinse the kettle out with clear water.

The appliance is now ready for use.

Boiling water

RISK - ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

► Never place the electrical base  close to water – this would be a

potentially fatal risk!

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

► Always use freshly drawn water. Do not consume any water that has already

stood in the kettle for longer than one hour. Do not reboil water that has cooled
down. Always pour old water away. Microbes could have formed in it!

NOTE

► Always ensure that the ON/OFF switch  is in the “0” position (off) when

the mains plug is unplugged and the appliance is standing on the base .
If not, the device could heat up unintendedly as soon as the mains plug is
plugged in again.

1) Lift the kettle off of the base when filling it!

2) Press the unlocking button  and open the lid.

NOTE

►

When filling it, hold the kettle upright. This is the only way to read the
markings on the scale  correctly.

3) Fill the kettle no further than the MAX mark, so that boiling water cannot spill out.

4) First close the lid, then place the kettle on the base , so that it sits securely
on the base .

5) Now insert the plug into the mains power socket.

6) Push the ON/OFF switch  downwards (position “I”) so that it engages.

WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!

► For safety reasons you should not open the lid when the water is boiling or

extremely hot. There is a risk of scalding.

7) The light in the ON/OFF switch  shows that the appliance is now heating up.

8) As soon as the water is boiling, the appliance will switch itself off, the
ON/OFF switch  clicks upwards and the light goes out.

INFORMATION

► This appliance is fitted with an overheating protector: if the appliance is

switched on accidentally, without any water in the kettle, the appliance
automatically switches itself off.
If, for example due to a non-closed lid the appliance boils dry, the appliance
switches off automatically.
In such cases first allow the appliance to cool down before using it again.

Cleaning and Care

RISK - ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

► Before cleaning, ALWAYS remove the plug from the mains power socket!

There is the risk of receiving an electric shock!

► Do not open any part of the housing. There are no user-serviceable elements

inside. An open housing will create the risk of a potentially fatal electrical
shock.

► Let the appliance cool sufficiently before cleaning it. Risk of Burns!

WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These could attack

the upper surfaces and irreparably damage the appliance.

■ Clean the exterior surfaces and the power cable with a slightly damp cloth.

Be sure to dry the appliance well before taking it back into use. For stubborn
soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth. Ensure that there are no detergent
residues in and on the appliance before it is taken back into use.

■ Rinse the inside of the kettle out with clean water.

■ If there are any deposits in the kettle, wipe out the inside surface with a moist

cloth, or use a washing up brush or bottle brush. Then rinse the kettle out
with clean water again.

In the event of scale deposits

Scale deposits on the bottom of the appliance lead to increased energy con­sumption and reduce the service life of the appliance.
Descale the appliance as soon as scale deposits become apparent.

■ Use a descaler designed for household appliances (e.g. for coffee machines).

Proceed as detailed in the instructions provided for the use of the decalcifying
agent.

■ After descaling, rinse the appliance with lots of clean water.

Inserting/removing the scale filter insert

1) Open the lid.

2) Hold the scale filter insert  by the tab and pull the scale filter insert 
upwards out of the holder.

3) Clean the scale filter insert  with a slightly moistened dishcloth under
running water.

4) After cleaning, re-insert the scale filter insert . Ensure that it is sitting
correctly in its holder.

NOTE

► If scale deposits have solidified in the scale filter insert , place the filter in

a water-vinegar solution with a ratio of 6:1 for a few hours. The scale de­posits will dissolve. Rinse the scale filter insert  with plenty of fresh water.

Storage

■ Allow the appliance to cool down completely before putting it into storage.

■ Wind the power cable around the cable winder  under the base .

■ Store the appliance at a dry location.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are
not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your
original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and
the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time
of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced
by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a
new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also
applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at
the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out
after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend
to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches,
batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or
improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that
are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The
warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force
and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.

Consignes de sécurité

DANGER - RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE !

► Assurez-vous que le socle comportant les raccordements

électriques n'entre jamais en contact avec de l'eau ! Laissez
d'abord sécher entièrement le socle, s'il a été accidentellement
mouillé.

► Utilisez la bouilloire exclusivement avec le socle compris

dans la livraison.

► Prendre garde que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit jamais

mouillé ni humide pendant le fonctionnement. Disposer le
cordon en vérifiant qu'il n'y a pas de risque de dommage.

► Faire remplacer immédiatement les connecteurs ou les

cordons d'alimentation endommagés par des spécialistes
dûment autorisés ou par le service après-vente pour éviter
tout risque.

► Retirez toujours le connecteur de la prise secteur. Il ne suffit

pas de mettre à l'arrêt l'appareil, en effet celui-ci est toujours
sous tension s'il reste branché.

► Vérifier l'absence de dommages visibles extérieurs avant

l'usage de l'appareil. Ne pas mettre en service un appareil
endommagé ou ayant subi une chute.

► Confier les réparations sur l'appareil exclusivement à des en-

treprises agréées ou au service après-vente. Toute réparation
non conforme peut entraîner des risques importants pour
l'utilisateur. Toute réclamation au titre de la garantie serait
déclarée irrecevable suite à une réparation non conforme.

N’immergez jamais l’appareil dans de l’eau ou dans d’autres
liquides ! Il y a danger de mort par électrocution, si des
résidus de liquide entrent en contact avec des pièces sous

ATTENTION - RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !

► Réchauffer l'eau uniquement lorsque le couvercle est fermé,

sinon le dispositif automatique de coupure de fonctionnera
pas. De l'eau bouillante risque alors de déborder de la
bouilloire.

► Des vapeurs chaudes peuvent se dégager. La bouilloire est

de plus très chaude pendant le fonctionnement. Portez par
conséquent des gants de cuisine.

► Assurez-vous que l'appareil repose sur un support stable et

en position verticale avant de le mettre en marche. Lorsque
l'eau commence à bouillir, elle peut entraîner la chute de
l'appareil s'il n'est pas installé sur une surface plane.

► N’ouvrez pas le couvercle pendant que l’eau bout.
► Les personnes souffrant d’un handicap physique, sensoriel ou

mental ou ne détenant pas l’expérience et/ou les connais­sances nécessaires pourront utiliser cet appareil à condition
de le faire sous surveillance, ou que son utilisation sûre leur
ait été enseignée et qu’elles aient compris les dangers qui
en émanent.

► Les enfants à partir de 8 ans et plus pourront utiliser cet

appareil à condition de le faire sous surveillance, ou que
son utilisation sûre leur ait été enseignée et qu’elles aient
compris les dangers qui en émanent. Le nettoyage et la
maintenance ne doivent pas être confiés à des enfants, sauf
s’ils sont âgés de 8 ans ou plus et qu’ils effectuent ces opéra­tions sous surveillance. Éloignez l’appareil et son cordon de

ATTENTION - RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !

► Ne pas utiliser de minuterie externe ou de dispositif de

commande à distance pour faire fonctionner l'appareil.

► En cours d'utilisation, ne jamais laisser l'appareil sans surveil-

lance.

► S'assurer qu'il n'y a pas de risque de contact de l'appareil,

du câble ou du connecteur avec un point chaud (plaque
chauffante, flammes, etc.).

Déballage

Ƈ Sortir du carton toutes les pièces de l’appareil et le mode d’emploi.
Ƈ Retirer tous les matériaux d’emballage.

Recyclage de l’emballage

L’emballage protège l’appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.
Les matériaux d’emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de
l’environnement et de recyclage, de sorte qu’ils peuvent être recyclés.

Le retour de l’emballage dans les filières de recyclage permet d’économiser les
matières premières et réduit les quantités de déchets. Recycler les matériaux
d’emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés en conformité avec la réglementation.

Mise en service

ATTENTION - RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !

► Utilisez toujours exclusivement de l'eau potable fraîche ! Ne consommez

surtout pas d'eau qui n'est pas désignée comme de l'eau potable.

Sinon, vous courrez le risque de mettre votre santé en péril !

Avant de mettre l’appareil en service, assurez-vous que ...

– l’appareil, le connecteur et le cordon d’alimentation sont en parfait

état et ...

– que tous les matériaux d’emballage sont retirés de l’appareil.

1) Ouvrez le couvercle en appuyant sur la touche de déverrouillage .

2) Remplissez l’appareil avec de l’eau jusqu’au repère MAX et amenez-la à
ébullition – comme décrit au chapitre suivant.

3) Jetez cette eau que vous venez de faire bouillir.

4) Rincez la bouilloire à l’eau claire.

5) Remplissez encore une fois l’appareil avec de l’eau jusqu’au repère MAX et
portez-la à ébullition. Jetez également cette eau.

6) Rincez la bouilloire à l’eau claire.

L’appareil est maintenant prêt à l’emploi.

Faire bouillir de l’eau

DANGER - RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE !

► Ne jamais disposer le socle électrique  à proximité d'un récipient d'eau

ou similaire,– risque d'accident mortel par électrocution !

ATTENTION - RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !

► Utilisez toujours de l'eau potable fraîche. Ne consommez pas une eau se

trouvant depuis plus d'une heure dans la bouilloire. Ne faites pas bouillir à
nouveau de l'eau refroidie. Jetez toujours une eau pas fraîche pour éviter
toute formation de germes !

REMARQUE

► Veillez toujours à ce que l’interrupteur de mise en marche/ d’arrêt  soit

placé sur «0» (arrêt), lorsque la fiche secteur est débranchée et que l’appa­reil est posé sur le socle . Sinon, l’appareil chauffe par inadvertance, dès
que vous raccordez la fiche secteur au réseau électrique.

1) Retirer la bouilloire pour la remplir !

2) Ouvrir le couvercle en appuyant sur la touche de déverrouillage .

REMARQUE

►

Tenez la bouilloire à la verticale pendant que vous la remplissez. L'échelle 
est alors bien lisible.

3) Fill the kettle no further than the MAX mark, so that boiling water cannot spill out.

4) Refermez le couvercle et placez la bouilloire sur le socle , en vérifiant que
celle-ci est bien en place sur le socle .

5) Insérez ensuite la fiche secteur dans la prise.

6) Appuyez sur l’interrupteur de mise en marche/ d’arrêt  vers le bas (posi-
tion «I»), il doit s’encliqueter.

ATTENTION - RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !

► Pour des raisons de sécurité, il est recommandé de ne pas ouvrir le couvercle

quand l'eau chauffe ou est très chaude. Il y a en effet un risque d'échaudage.

7) The light in the ON/OFF switch  shows that the appliance is now heating up.

8) Dès que l’eau bout, l’appareil s’éteint, l’interrupteur marche/arrêt  bascule
vers le haut et l’éclairage s’éteint.

REMARQUES

► Cet appareil est pourvu d'une sécurité anti-surchauffe ! Si l'appareil est

mis en marche par mégarde sans eau dans la bouilloire, l'appareil se met
automatiquement à l'arrêt.
L'appareil se met à l'arrêt automatiquement s'il fonctionne à sec (couvercle
non refermé par exemple.)
Laisser dans ce cas refroidir l'appareil avant de le réutiliser.

Nettoyage et entretien

DANGER - RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE !

► Avant chaque nettoyage, ne pas oublier pas de débrancher le connecteur

de la prise secteur ! Sinon, il y a un risque de choc électrique !

► N'ouvrez jamais des pièces du boîtier. La machine ne contient aucun

élément de commande dans ces pièces. Risque d'accident mortel par
électrocution en laissant le boîtier ouvert.

N’immergez jamais l’appareil dans de l’eau ou dans d’autres liquides !

Il y a danger de mort par électrocution, si des résidus de liquide entrent
en contact avec des pièces sous tension pendant le fonctionnement.

► Avant un nettoyage, laisser l'appareil se refroidir complètement.

ATTENTION - RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !

► Ne pas utiliser de produit nettoyant récurant ou corrosif. Ces produits

pourraient attaquer la surface et endommager l'appareil de manière
irrémédiable.

■ Nettoyez toutes les surfaces extérieures ainsi que le cordon d’alimentation à

l’aide d’un chiffon légèrement humide. Sécher soigneusement l’appareil avant
de le réutiliser. En cas de taches tenaces, appliquer un produit détergent
doux. Bien vérifier qu’il ne reste pas de traces de détergent sur ou dans
l’appareil avant de le réutiliser.

■ Rincez l’intérieur de la bouilloire à l’eau claire.

■ En cas de dépôts dans la bouilloire, essuyez les surfaces intérieures à l’aide

d’un chiffon humide ou utilisez une brosse à vaisselle ou un écouvillon. Ensuite,
rincez de nouveau la bouilloire à l’eau claire.

En cas de présence de restes de calcaire

Les dépôts de calcaire (tartre) dans l’appareil entraînent des pertes énergétiques
et raccourcissent la durée de vie de l’appareil.
Détartrer l’appareil dès qu’apparaissent des dépôts de calcaire.

■ Utilisez un détartrant approprié pour les conteneurs de produits alimentaires (pro-

duit commercialisé dans un magasin d’équipements ménagers, détartrant pour
machine à café par exemple). Respecter les consignes d’utilisation du détartrant.

■ Après le détartrage, rincer abondamment l’appareil à l’eau claire.

Retirer/poser le filtre antitartre

1) Ouvrez le couvercle.

2) Saisissez le filtre antitartre  sur la languette et retirez le filtre antitartre 
du support vers le haut.

3) Nettoyer le filtre antitartre  avec un chiffon légèrement humide et rincer à
l’eau courante.

4) Remettez en place le filtre antitartre  après le nettoyage. Veillez à ce que
celui-ci soit parfaitement logé dans le support.

REMARQUE

► Si des restes de calcaire se sont accumulés dans le filtre antitartre ,

laissez-le tremper pendant quelques heures dans une solution d’eau et
de vinaigre dans un rapport de 6:1. Les restes de calcaire se détachent.
Rincez abondamment le filtre antitartre  à l’eau claire.

Vos droits légaux ne sont pas restreints par notre garantie présentée ci-dessous.

Conditions de garantie

La période de garantie débute à la date de l’achat. Veuillez bien conserver le ticket
de caisse d’origine. Ce document servira de preuve d’achat.

Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d’achat de ce produit, un vice de matériel
ou de fabrication venait à apparaître, le produit sera réparé ou remplacé gratuitement
par nos soins, selon notre choix. Cette prestation de garantie nécessite dans un délai
de trois ans la présentation de l’appareil défectueux et du justificatif d’achat (ticket de
caisse) ainsi que la description brève du vice et du moment de son apparition.

Si le vice est couvert par notre garantie, vous recevrez le produit réparé ou un nouveau
produit en retour. Aucune nouvelle période de garantie ne débute avec la réparation
ou l’échange du produit.

Période de garantie et réclamation légale pour vices cachés

L’exercice de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie. Cette disposition
s’applique également aux pièces remplacées ou réparées. Les dommages et vices

Étendue de la garantie

aanwijzing maakt onderdeel uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke instructies
voor veiligheid, gebruik en afvoeren. Zorg ervoor dat u bekend bent met alle
bedienings- en veiligheidsinstructies alvorens het product te gebruiken. Gebruik
het apparaat uitsluitend op de voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

GEVAAR VOOR STROOMSCHOK!

► Zorg ervoor dat de sokkel nooit in aanraking komt met de

elektrische aansluitingen! Laat de sokkel eerst volledig op­drogen als deze per ongeluk vochtig is geworden.

► Gebruik de waterkoker uitsluitend met de meegeleverde sokkel.
► Let erop, dat het netsnoer tijdens het gebruik nooit nat of vochtig

wordt. Leg het zo neer dat het niet beklemd raakt of anderszins
beschadigd kan worden.

► Laat beschadigde stekkers en netsnoeren onmiddellijk door

geautoriseerd en vakkundig personeel, of door de klanten­service vervangen, om risico’s te voorkomen.

► Haal na gebruik altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact. Alleen

uitschakelen is niet genoeg, omdat het apparaat onder span­ning blijft staan zolang de stekker in het stopcontact zit.

► Controleer het apparaat vóór gebruik op uitwendig zichtbare

schade. Neem een defect apparaat of een apparaat dat
gevallen is niet in gebruik.

► Laat reparaties aan het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door

geautoriseerde speciaalzaken of door de klantenservice.
Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen resulteren in gevaren voor
de gebruiker. Bovendien vervalt de garantie dan.

Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of in andere
vloeistoffen! Wanneer bij gebruik vloeistoffen in aanraking
komen met stroomgeleidende delen, kan dat leiden tot
levensgevaarlijke elektrische schokken.

WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!

► Verhit water altijd uitsluitend met gesloten deksel, anders

werkt de automatische uitschakeling niet. Er kan dan kokend
water over de rand gutsen.

► Er kan hete stoom ontsnappen. Bovendien is de kan tijdens

het bedrijf erg heet. Draag daarom ovenwanten.

► Vergewis u ervan dat het apparaat stabiel en rechtop staat

alvorens het in te schakelen. Kokend water kan een instabiel
opgesteld apparaat doen omvallen.

► Open het deksel niet terwijl het water kookt.
► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door personen met be-

perkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of gebrek
aan ervaring
en/of kennis, mits ze onder toezicht staan of over het veilige
gebruik van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit
resulterende gevaren hebben begrepen.

► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8

jaar, mits ze onder toezicht staan of over het veilige gebruik
van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit resulteren­de gevaren hebben begrepen. Reiniging en onderhoud door
de gebruiker mogen niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen,
tenzij ze 8 jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht staan. Het
apparaat en het bijbehorende aansluitsnoer moeten uit de
buurt worden gehouden van kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar.

► Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.
► Vul de waterkoker maximaal tot aan de markering MAX!

Anders kan er kokend water uit de waterkoker gutsen!

LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!

► Gebruik geen externe tijdschakelklok of een separaat systeem

voor afstandsbediening om het apparaat te bedienen.

► Laat het apparaat tijdens bedrijf nooit zonder toezicht.
► Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat, het netsnoer of de netstekker

nooit in aanraking komt met hittebronnen, zoals kookplaten
of open vlammen.

Voorbereidingen

Uitpakken

Ƈ Haal alle delen van het apparaat en de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de doos.
Ƈ Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.

De verpakking afvoeren

De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkings­materialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu. Ze zijn gekozen om afvoertechnische
redenen en daarom recyclebaar.

Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop is een besparing
op grondstoffen en reduceert het ontstaan van afval. Voer verpakkingsmaterialen
die niet meer worden gebruikt af conform de plaatselijke geldende voorschriften.

OPMERKING

► Bewaar indien mogelijk de originele verpakking gedurende de garantie-

periode van het apparaat, om het apparaat in geval van een garantie-

kwestie volgens de voorschriften te kunnen verpakken.

Ingebruikname

WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!

► Gebruik altijd alleen vers drinkwater in de waterkoker! Consumeer geen

water dat niet is gekwalificeerd als drinkwater. Anders bestaat er een

gezondheidsrisico!

Voordat u het apparaat in gebruik neemt, dient u zich ervan te vergewissen dat...

– het apparaat, de netstekker en het netsnoer compleet en zonder gebreken

zijn, en...

– alle verpakkingsmateriaal van het apparaat is verwijderd.

1) Open het deksel door op de ontgrendelknop  te drukken.

2) Vul het apparaat met water tot aan de markering MAX en laat het een keer
volledig aan de kook komen - zoals beschreven in het volgende hoofdstuk.

3) Gooi dit water weg nadat het aan de kook is gekomen.

4) Spoel de kan uit met schoon water.

5) Vul het apparaat nogmaals met water tot aan de markering MAX en laat het
aan de kook komen.

6) Spoel de kan uit met schoon water.

Nu is het apparaat gereed voor gebruik.

Water aan de kook brengen

GEVAAR VOOR STROOMSCHOK!

► Houd de elektrische sokkel  nooit in de buurt van water – levensgevaar

door stroomschok!

WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!

► Gebruik altijd vers drinkwater. Consumeer geen water dat al langer dan

een uur in de waterkoker heeft gestaan. Breng afgekoeld water niet
opnieuw aan de kook. Gooi oud water altijd weg. Er kunnen zich
ziektekiemen ontwikkelen!

OPMERKING

► Controleer altijd of de aan-/uitknop  op de stand “0” (uit) staat wanneer

de stekker uit het stopcontact is gehaald en het apparaat op de sokkel 
staat. Anders warmt het apparaat onbedoeld op, zodra u de stekker in het
stopcontact steekt.

1) Neem de kan af om deze te vullen!

2) Open het deksel door op de ontgrendelknop  te drukken.

OPMERKING

►

Houd de kan rechtop tijdens het vullen. Alleen dan kunt u de schaalverde­ling  goed aflezen.

3) Vul de kan maximaal tot aan de MAX-markering, zodat er geen kokend water
uit gutst.

4) Sluit eerst het deksel en plaats daarna de kan zodanig op de sokkel ,
dat de kan stevig op de sokkel  staat.

5) Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

6) Druk de aan-/uitknop  omlaag (stand “I”), zodat deze vastklikt.

WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!

► Met het oog op de veiligheid mag het deksel niet worden geopend wan-

neer het water kookt of zeer heet is. Er bestaat gevaar voor brandwonden.

7) De verlichting in de aan-/uitknop  geeft aan dat het apparaat nu aan het
opwarmen is.

8) Zodra het water kookt, wordt het apparaat uitgeschakeld: de AAN/UIT-knop 
springt omhoog en de verlichting dooft.

AANWIJZINGEN

► Dit apparaat is voorzien van een oververhittingsbeveiliging: wanneer het

apparaat per ongeluk wordt ingeschakeld zonder dat er water in de kan

Wanneer het apparaat bijvoorbeeld droogkookt doordat het deksel niet
gesloten is, gaat het apparaat automatisch uit.

Reiniging en onderhoud

GEVAAR VOOR STROOMSCHOK!

► Haal vóór iedere reiniging de stekker uit het stopcontact! Anders bestaat

er gevaar voor een elektrische schok!

► Open nooit onderdelen van de behuizing. Hierin bevinden zich geen be-

dieningselementen. Bij een geopende behuizing bestaat er levensgevaar
door stroomschokken.

Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of in andere vloeistoffen!
Wanneer bij gebruik vloeistoffen in aanraking komen met stroomgelei­dende delen, kan dat leiden tot levensgevaarlijke elektrische schokken.

WAARSCHUWING - LETSELGEVAAR!

► Laat het apparaat voldoende afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.

Verbrandingsgevaar!

LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!

► Gebruik geen schurende of bijtende schoonmaakmiddelen. Die kunnen

het oppervlak aantasten en het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigen.

■ Reinig alleen de buitenkant en het netsnoer met een licht bevochtigde doek.

Droog het apparaat in elk geval goed af, voordat u het opnieuw gebruikt.
Bij hardnekkig vuil doet u een mild afwasmiddel op het doek. Controleer of
zich geen afwasmiddelresten op en in het apparaat bevinden, voordat u het
opnieuw gebruikt.

■ Spoel de kan uit met schoon water.

■ Veeg de kan bij aanslag van binnen schoon met een vochtige doek, of gebruik

een afwasborstel of flessenborstel. Spoel de kan daarna nog een keer uit
met schoon water.

Bij kalkresten

Kalkafzettingen in het apparaat resulteren in energieverlies en beïnvloeden de
levensduur van het apparaat.
Ontkalk het apparaat zodra kalkafzetting zichtbaar wordt.

■ Gebruik een voor huishoudelijke apparaten geschikt kalkoplosmiddel uit

een winkel met huishoudbenodigdheden (bijv. ontkalker voor koffiezet­apparaten). Ga te werk zoals beschreven in de gebruiksaanwijzing van
de kalkverwijderaar.

■ Reinig het apparaat na het ontkalken met veel schoon water.

Kalkfilter uitnemen / plaatsen

1) Open het deksel.

2) Pak het kalkfilter  bij de lip vast en trek het kalkfilter  omhoog uit de
houder.

3) Reinig het kalkfilter  met een licht bevochtigde doek en onder stromend
water.

4) Zet na het reinigen het kalkfilter  weer in het apparaat. Controleer of het
kalkfilter correct in de houder zit.

OPMERKING

► Indien zich kalkresten hebben vastgezet op het kalkfilter , legt u het een paar

uur lang in een oplossing van water en azijn in een verhouding van 6:1. De
kalkresten lossen op. Spoel het kalkfilter  met veel schoon water af.

Geachte klant,
U hebt op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de aankoopdatum. In geval van ge-

breken in dit product hebt u wettelijke rechten tegenover de verkoper van het product.
Deze wettelijke rechten worden door onze hierna beschreven garantie niet beperkt.

Garantievoorwaarden

De garantieperiode geldt vanaf de datum van aankoop. Bewaar de originele kassa­bon. U hebt de bon nodig als bewijs van aankoop.

Als er binnen drie jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum van dit product een materiaal- of
fabricagefout optreedt, wordt het product door ons – naar onze keuze – voor u kos­teloos gerepareerd of vervangen. Voorwaarde voor deze garantie is dat binnen de
termijn van drie jaar het defecte apparaat en het aankoopbewijs (kassabon) worden
overlegd en dat kort wordt omschreven waaruit het gebrek bestaat en wanneer het is
opgetreden.

Wanneer het defect door onze garantie wordt gedekt, krijgt u het gerepareerde
product of een nieuw product retour. Met de reparatie of vervanging van het product
begint er geen nieuwe garantieperiode.

Garantieperiode en wettelijke aanspraken bij gebreken

De garantieperiode wordt door deze waarborg niet verlengd. Dat geldt ook voor
vervangen en gerepareerde onderdelen. Eventueel al bij aankoop aanwezige schade
en gebreken moeten meteen na het uitpakken worden gemeld. Voor reparaties na
afloop van de garantieperiode worden kosten in rekening gebracht.

Garantieomvang

Het apparaat is op basis van strenge kwaliteitsnormen met de grootst mogelijke zorg
vervaardigd en voorafgaand aan de levering nauwkeurig gecontroleerd.

De garantie geldt voor materiaal- of fabricagefouten. Deze garantie geldt niet voor
productonderdelen die blootstaan aan normale slijtage en derhalve als aan slijtage
onderhevige onderdelen kunnen worden aangemerkt, of voor beschadigingen aan
breekbare onderdelen, bijv. schakelaars, accu’s, bakvormen of onderdelen die van
glas zijn gemaakt.

Deze garantie vervalt wanneer het product is beschadigd, ondeskundig is gebruikt of
is gerepareerd. Voor deskundig gebruik van het product moeten alle in de gebruiks­aanwijzing beschreven aanwijzingen precies worden opgevolgd. Gebruiksdoeleinden
en handelingen die in de gebruiksaanwijzing worden afgeraden of waarvoor wordt
gewaarschuwd, moeten beslist worden vermeden.

Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor privégebruik en niet voor bedrijfsmatige doel­einden. Bij verkeerd gebruik en ondeskundige behandeling, bij gebruik van geweld
en bij reparaties die niet door ons erkend servicefiliaal zijn uitgevoerd, vervalt de
garantie.

Afhandeling bij een garantiekwestie

Voor een snelle afhandeling van uw aanvraag neemt u de volgende aanwijzingen in

▯ Houd voor alle aanvragen de kassabon en het artikelnummer (bijv. IAN 12345)

▯ Het artikelnummer vindt u op het typeplaatje, in het product gegraveerd, op de

Bezpečnostní pokyny

NEBEZPEČÍ ÚDERU ELEKTRICKÝM PROUDEM!

► Zajistěte, aby podstavec s elektrickými kabely nikdy nepřišel

do styku s vodou! Pokud je přesto podstavec vlhký, nechte
jej nejprve úplně vyschnout.

► Varnou konvici používejte pouze s podstavcem, který je

dodáván s tímto zbožím.

► Dbejte na to, aby během provozu nebyl síťový kabel mokrý

nebo vlhký. Veďte jej tak, aby se nikde nemohl zachytit nebo
jinak poškodit.

► Poškozené zástrčky nebo síťový kabel nechte ihned vyměnit

autorizovanými odborníky nebo zákaznickým servisem - vyhne­te se tím nebezpečí.

► Po použití zástrčku vždy vytáhněte ze zásuvky. Samotné vypnutí

nestačí, neboť je-li zástrčka zapojena do síťové zásuvky, je v
přístroji stále síťové napětí.

► Zkontrolujte přístroj před použitím na vnější viditelná poškození.

Vadný nebo na zem padlý přístroj neuvádějte do provozu.

► Opravy na přístroji nechte provádět pouze autorizovanými

odbornými podniky nebo službou zákazníkům. Neodbornou
opravou mohou vzniknout nebezpečí pro uživatele. K tomu
zanikají i záruční nároky.

Přístroj nikdy neponořujte do vody či jiných tekutin! Pokud
se během provozu dostanou zbytky kapaliny do kontaktu s
částmi pod napětím, může dojít k ohrožení života v důsledku
zásahu elektrickým proudem.

► Zahřívejte vodu vždy jen při uzavřeném víku, jinak nebude

fungovat automatické vypínání. Vroucí voda pak může stříkat
přes okraj.

► Může dojít k úniku horké páry. Konvice je mimoto za provozu

velice horká. Používejte proto ochranné kuchyňské rukavice.

► Dříve než přístroj zapnete, ujistěte se, zda je umístěno stabilně

a ve vertikální poloze. Pokud je zařízení nestabilní, mohla by
vroucí voda způsobit, že dojde k jeho převrácení.

► Neotvírejte víko během varu vody.
► Osoby s omezenými fyzickými, smyslovými nebo duševními

schopnostmi, nebo nedostatkem zkušeností a/nebo znalostmi,
mohou používat tento přístroj pouze tehdy, pokud jsou pod
dohledem nebo pokud byly poučeni o bezpečném používání
přístroje a pokud porozuměly z toho vyplývajícímu nebezpečí.

► Děti, starší než 8 let, mohou používat tento přístroj pouze

► K provozu přístroje nepoužívejte externí spínací hodiny ani

zvláštní dálkové ovládání.

► Nenechávejte přístroj během provozu nikdy bez dozoru.
► Ujistěte se, zda přístroj, napájecí kabel nebo síťová zástrčka

se nedostanou do styku s horkými prameny, jako je například
topná plotýnka nebo otevřený oheň.

Vybalení

Ƈ Všechny díly a návod k obsluze vyjměte z kartonu.
Ƈ Odstraňte veškerý obalový materiál.

Likvidace obalu

Obal chrání přístroj před poškozením při přepravě. Obalový materiál je zvolen
podle ekologického a likvidačně technického hlediska, a proto jej lze recyklovat.

Navrácení obalu do oběhu zpracování materiálu šetří suroviny a sníží produkci
odpadů. Více nepotřebný obalový materiál zlikvidujte dle místně platných
předpisů.

UPOZORNĚNÍ

► Pokud možno, uschovejte originální balení během záruční doby přístroje,

aby bylo možné, v případě záruky přístroj řádně zabalit.

Uvedení do provozu

VÝSTRAHA - NEBEZPEČÍ ZRANĚNÍ!

► Ve vařiči vody používejte pouze čerstvou pitnou vodu ! Nepožívejte vodu,

který není prokázaná jako pitná voda. V opačném případě hrozí riziko
ohrožení zdraví !

Před spuštěním přístroje se ujistěte, že...

– jsou přístroj, síťová zástrčka a síťový kabel v bezvadném stavu a ...
– všechny obalové materiály z přístroje odstraněny.

1) Otevřte víko tak, že stiskněte uvolňovací tlačítko .

2) Naplňte přístroj vodou až po značku MAX a nechte jednou přejít varem –
jak je popsáno v následující kapitole.

3) Po svaření vylijte vodu.

4) Konvici vypláchněte čistou vodou.

5) Přístroj naplňte ještě jednou vodou až po značku MAX a nechte ji přejít
varem. I tuto vodu pak vylijte.

6) Konvici vypláchněte čistou vodou.

Nyní je přístroj připravený k provozu.

Převaření vody

NEBEZPEČÍ ÚDERU ELEKTRICKÝM PROUDEM!

► Elektrický podstavec  nikdy nepřibližujte k vodě – ohrožení života

elektrickým proudem!

VÝSTRAHA - NEBEZPEČÍ ZRANĚNÍ!

► Používejte vždy čerstvou pitnou vodu. Nepijte a nepoužívejte vodu, která

ve vařiči stála delší dobu, než jednu hodinu. Ochlazenou vodu neohřívejte
a neuvádějte více opět do varu. Všechnu starou vodu vždy vylijte. Mohlo
by dojít k tvorbě zárodků!

UPOZORNĚNÍ

► Vždy se ujistěte, zda je ZAPÍNAČ/VYPÍNAČ  v poloze „0“ (vyp.), když

je zástrčka vytažená ze zásuvky a přístroj stojí na podstavci . V opačném
případě se spotřebič neúmyslně zahřeje, jakmile zapojíte napájecí kabel
do elektrické sítě.

1) K naplnění vždy sejměte konvici!

2) Otevřte víko tak, že stiskněte uvolňovací tlačítko .

UPOZORNĚNÍ

►

Při plnění držte konvici svisle. Pouze tak správně odečtete množství vody na
stupnici .

3) Naplňte konvici maximálně po značku MAX, aby vroucí voda nepřetékala.

4) Nejprve zavřete víko, a teprve poté postavte konvici na podstavec  tak,
aby dobře na podstavec dosedala.

5) Nyní zasuňte zástrčku do zásuvky.

6) Stiskněte ZAPÍNAČ/VYPÍNAČ  směrem dolů (poloha „I“), dokud nezaklapne.

VÝSTRAHA - NEBEZPEČÍ ZRANĚNÍ!

► Z bezpečnostních důvodů byste neměli otvírat víko, pokud se voda vaří

nebo pokud je velmi horká. Hrozí nebezpečí opaření.

7) Světlo uvnitř přepínače ZAPÍNAČ/VYPÍNAČ  znamená, že přístroj se nyní
zahřívá.

8) Jakmile voda vře, přístroj se vypne, ZAPÍNAČ/VYPÍNAČ  vyskočí nahoru
a osvětlení zhasne.

POKYNY

► Tento přístroj je vybaven ochranou před přehřátím: Pokud se přístroj náhodně

zapne i bez vody v konvici, se přístroj automaticky vypne.
Pokud například v důsledku nezavřeného víka běží přístroj nasucho, tak
se přístroj automaticky vypne.
V takovém případě nechte přístroj nejdříve vychladnout, než jej budete
opět používat.

Čištění a péče

NEBEZPEČÍ ÚDERU ELEKTRICKÝM PROUDEM!

► Vytáhněte před každým čištěním zástrčku ze zásuvky! V opačném případě

hrozí nebezpečí zranění elektrickým proudem!

► Nikdy neotvírejte žádné části tělesa konvice. Uvnitř nejsou umístěny žádné

obslužné prvky. Pokud je těleso otevřeno, může dojít k ohrožení života
v důsledku zásahu elektrickým proudem.

Přístroj nikdy neponořujte do vody či jiných tekutin! Pokud by během
provozu zbytky kapaliny přišly do kontaktu s částmi pod napětím, mohlo
by zde dojít k ohrožení života v důsledku zásahu elektrickým proudem.

VÝSTRAHA - NEBEZPEČÍ ZRANĚNÍ!

► Před začátkem čištění nechte přístroj zchladit. Nebezpečí popálení!

POZOR- HMOTNÉ ŠKODY!

► Nepoužívejte abrazivní ani leptavé čisticí prostředky. Mohly by narušit

povrch přístroje a způsobit jeho nenávratné poškození.

■ Očistěte mírně navlhčeným hadrem všechny vnější plochy a přívodní kabel.

V každém případě přístroj před dalším použitím dobře osušte. Na těžce
odstranitelné nečistoty použijte jemný čisticí prostředek nanesený na hadříku.
Předtím, než přístroj opět uvedete do provozu, dbejte na to, aby se na a v
přístroji nenacházely zbytky mycího prostředku.

■ Vnitřek konvice vypláchněte čistou vodou.

■ V případě usazenin v konvici vytřete vnitřek konvice vlhkým hadrem nebo po-

užijte mycí kartáč nebo kartáč na lahve. Poté konvici ještě jednou vypláchněte
čistou vodou.

Při usazení vodního kamene

Vápenaté usazeniny v přístroji vedou k energetickým ztrátám a snižují životnost
přístroje.
Jakmile zpozorujete vápenaté usazeniny, okamžitě je z přístroje odstraňte.

■ Vyberte ve vhodném obchodě odvápňovač vhodný pro nádoby na potraviny

(např. odvápňovač do kávovarů).Postupujte v souladu s návodem k použití
na odstraňovači vodního kamene.

■ Po odstranění vodního kamene vyčistěte přístroj velkým množstvím čisté vody.

Vyjímání /
nasazování filtru pro zachycení vápenatých usazenin

1) Otevřte víko.

2) Uchopte filtr pro zachycení vápenatých usazenin  za jazýček a vytáhněte
filtr pro zachycení vápenatých usazenin směrem nahoru z úchytu.

3) Vyčistěte filtr pro zachycení vápenatých usazenin  lehce navlhčeným
hadrem a pod tekoucí vodou.

4) Po vyčištění filtr pro zachycení vápenatých usazenin  opět nasaďte. Dbejte
na to, aby tento byl správně upevněn v úchytu.

UPOZORNĚNÍ

► Jestliže se ve filtru pro zachycení vápenatých usazenin  usadily zbytky

vodního kamene, vložte filtr na několik hodin do vody s přidáním octu v
poměru 6:1. Zbytky vodního kamene se rozpustí. Filtr pro zachycení vápe­natých usazenin  opláchněte větším množstvím čisté vody.

Uložení

■ Před odstavením zařízení jej nejprve ponechte zcela vychladnout.

■ Síťový kabel naviňte do navíjení kabelu  pod podstavcem .

■ Přístroj skladujte na suchém místě.

tohoto výrobku máte zákonná práva vůči prodejci výrobku. Tato zákonná práva
nejsou omezena naší níže uvedenou zárukou.

Záruční podmínky

Záruční doba začíná plynout dnem nákupu. Dobře uschovejte originál pokladního
lístku. Tento doklad je potřebný jako důkaz o koupi.

Pokud do tří let od data zakoupení tohoto výrobku dojde k vadě materiálu nebo vý robní
závadě, pak Vám podle našeho uvážení výrobek zdarma opravíme nebo vyměníme.
Předpokladem této záruky je, že bude během tříleté lhůty předložen vadný přístroj a
doklad o koupi (pokladní lístek) a stručně se popíše v čem závada spočívá a kdy se
vyskytla.

Vztahuje-li se na závadu naše záruka, obdržíte zpět buď opravený nebo nový produkt.
Opravou nebo výměnou výrobku nezačne plynout nová záruční doba.

Záruční doba a zákonné nároky vyplývající ze závad

Záručním plněním se záruční doba neprodlužuje. To platí ipro vyměněné a opravené
součásti. Poškození nebo vady vyskytující se případně již při nákupu se musí oznámit
ihned po vybalení. Po uplynutí záruční doby podléhají veškeré opravy zpoplatnění.

Rozsah záruky

Přístroj byl vyroben pečlivě podle přísných směrnic kvality a před expedicí byl svědo­mitě vyzkoušen.

Záruka se vztahuje na materiálové nebo výrobní vady. Tato záruka se nevztahuje na
součásti produktu, které jsou vystaveny normálnímu opotřebení, a proto je lze pova­žovat za opotřebovatelné díly nebo za poškození křehkých součástí jako jsou např.
spínače, akumulátory, formy na pečení nebo části, které jsou vyrobeny ze skla.

Tato záruka zaniká, pokud je výrobek poškozen, nebyl řádně používán nebo udržován.
Pro zajištění správného používání výrobku se musí přesně dodržovat všechny pokyny
uvedené v návodu kobsluze. Účelům použití a úkonům, které se v návodu kobsluze
nedoporučují nebo se před nimi varuje, je třeba se bezpodmínečně vyhnout.

Výrobek je určen pouze pro soukromé účely a ne pro komerční použití. Při nesprávném
a neodborném používání, při použití násilí a při zásazích, které nebyly provedeny
našimi autorizovanými servisními provozovnami, záruční nároky zanikají.

IAN 12345) jako doklad o koupi.

Indicaciones de seguridad

¡PELIGRO - DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!

► Asegúrese de que el zócalo con las conexiones eléctricas

no entre nunca en contacto con el agua. Deje que la base
se seque completamente si se ha humedecido por descuido.

► Utilice el hervidor de agua sólo con el zócalo suministrado.
► Preste atención a que el cable de red no se moje o entre en

contacto con humedad durante el servicio. Tiéndalo de modo
que no pueda ser aplastado o dañado de forma alguna.

► En caso de una clavija de red dañada o cable de red dañado,

encomiende su sustitución a personal técnico autorizado o
al servicio de posventa con el fin de evitar riesgos.

► Retire después del uso siempre la clavija de la base de en-

chufe. No es suficiente con desconectarlo, ya que mientras
esté insertada la clavija de red en la base de enchufe sigue
llegando tensión de red al aparato.

► Antes de usar el aparato, compruebe si hay signos de datos

externos visibles. No ponga en servicio un aparato dañado
o que haya caído.

► Las reparaciones en el aparato deben ser realizadas sólo por

talleres autorizados o por el servicio al cliente. En caso de
reparaciones indebidas se pueden producir riesgos para los
usuarios. Además expirará la garantía.

No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni en otros líquidos.
Posible peligro de muerte por descarga eléctrica si penetran
restos de líquidos en piezas sometidas a tensión.

¡ADVERTENCIA - PELIGRO DE LESIONES!

► Caliente el agua siempre con la tapa cerrada, de otro modo

no funcionará el automatismo de desconexión. El agua
hirviendo puede salpicar por encima del borde.

► Pueden escapar vapores calientes. Además, la jarra está

muy caliente durante el funcionamiento. Por ello utilice ma­noplas de cocina.

► Asegúrese de que el aparato se encuentra estable y en po-

sición vertical antes de encenderlo. El agua hirviendo puede
volcar un aparato que no apoye de forma estable.

► No abra la tapa mientras el agua hierve.
► Este aparato puede ser utilizado por personas con facultades

físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas, así como su falta de
conocimientos o de experiencia, siempre que sean vigiladas
o hayan sido instruidas correctamente sobre el uso seguro
del aparato y que hayan comprendido los peligros que
entraña.

► Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños de más de 8

años de edad, siempre que sean vigilados o hayan sido
instruidos correctamente sobre el uso seguro del aparato y
que hayan comprendido los peligros que entraña. La lim­pieza y el mantenimiento de usuario no deben realizarlo
los niños, a no ser que tengan más de 8 años de edad y lo
realicen bajo vigilancia de un tutor. El aparato y su cable de

¡ATENCIÓN - DAÑOS MATERIALES!

► No utilice ningún tipo de temporizador externo o un sistema

de control remoto para accionar el aparato.

► No deje nunca el aparato desatendido durante su funciona-

miento.

► Cerciorase que el aparato, el cable de red o la clavija de

red no entre en contacto con fuentes calientes tale como
placas de cocción o llamas abiertas.

Preparativos

Desembalar

Ƈ Extraiga todas las piezas del aparato y las instrucciones de uso del cartón.
Ƈ Retire todo el material de embalaje.

Evacuación del embalaje

El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje se
ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de técnica de elimina­ción y por ello es reciclable.

La reintroducción del embalaje en el ciclo de materiales ahorra materias primas
y reduce el volumen de residuos. Evacue los materiales de embalaje que no
sean necesarios según las normativas locales aplicables.

► Si es posible, conserve el embalaje original durante el periodo de garantía

del aparato para poder empaquetarlo correctamente en caso de aplica­ción de la garantía.

Puesta en funcionamiento

¡ADVERTENCIA - PELIGRO DE LESIONES!

► ¡Utilice siempre en el hervidor de agua sólo agua potable fresca! No

consuma agua no identificada como potable. ¡De otro modo existe riesgo
de perjuicio para la salud!

Antes de poner en marcha el aparato, asegúrese de que...

– el aparato y la clavija de red se encuentren en perfecto estado y...
– de que se hayan retirado todos los materiales de embalaje.

1) Abra la tapa presionando el botón de desbloqueo .

2) Llene el aparato con agua hasta la marca MAX y deje que hierva de la
manera descrita en el capítulo siguiente.

3) Después de hervirla, deseche esta agua.

4) Enjuague la jarra con agua fresca.

5) Vuelva a llenar el aparato con agua hasta la marca MAX y deje que hierva.
Deseche también esta agua.

6) Enjuague la jarra con agua fresca.

El aparato está ahora listo para funcionar.

Cómo hervir agua

¡PELIGRO - DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!

► No coloque nunca la base eléctrica  cerca del agua. ¡Peligro de muerte

por descarga eléctrica!

¡ADVERTENCIA - PELIGRO DE LESIONES!

► Utilice siempre agua potable fresca. No consuma agua que haya per-

manecido durante más de una hora en el hervidor de agua. No vuelva
a hervir el agua que se haya enfriado. Tire siempre el agua sobrante.
¡Pueden formarse gérmenes!

INDICACIÓN

► Asegúrese siempre de que el interruptor ON/OFF  esté en la posición

“0” (apagado) cuando el enchufe esté desconectado y el aparato esté
colocado en la base . De lo contrario, el aparato se calentará de forma
involuntaria tan pronto conecte el cable a la red eléctrica.

1) ¡Saque la jarra para llenarla!

2) Abra la tapa presionando el botón de desbloqueo .

INDICACIÓN

►

Mantenga la jarra en posición vertical mientras la llena. Sólo de ese modo
podrá leer correctamente la escala .

3) Llene el hervidor como máximo hasta la marca MAX para que no se desbor­de el agua al hervir.

4) Cierre primero la tapa y coloque la jarra sobre la base  de forma que
quede bien asentada sobre la base .

5) Introduzca el enchufe en la toma eléctrica.

6) Pulse el interruptor ON/OFF  hacia abajo (posición “I”) de modo que
encastre.

¡ADVERTENCIA - PELIGRO DE LESIONES!

► Por motivos de seguridad no debe abrir la tapa si el agua está hirviendo

o muy caliente. Existe peligro de sufrir quemaduras.

7) La iluminación del interruptor ON/OFF  indica que el aparato se está
calentando

8) El piloto de control integrado en el interruptor ON/OFF  indica que el
aparato está calentando el agua.

INDICACIONES

► Este aparato está equipado con una protección contra sobrecalentamiento.

Si se conecta involuntariamente el aparato sin que exista agua en la jarra,
el aparato se desconectará automáticamente.
Si el aparato se seca p. ej. debido a que la tapa no estaba cerrada, el
aparato se desconecta automáticamente.
En tal caso deje que se enfríe primero el aparato antes de volver a utilizarlo
de nuevo.

Limpieza y cuidado

¡PELIGRO - DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!

► ¡Antes de limpiar el aparato, extraiga siempre la clavija de red de la base

de enchufe! ¡En caso contrario existe peligro de descarga eléctrica!

► No abra nunca las piezas de la carcasa. No existen elementos de mando

dentro. Con la carcasa abierta puede existir riesgo debido a descarga
eléctrica.

¡No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni en otros líquidos! Aquí se
puede producir peligro de muerte a causa de una descarga eléctri­ca si penetran restos de líquidos sobre piezas sometidas a tensión.

¡ADVERTENCIA - PELIGRO DE LESIONES!

► Antes de limpiar el aparato, deje que se enfríe completamente.

¡Peligro de quemaduras!

¡ATENCIÓN - DAÑOS MATERIALES!

► No utilice productos de limpieza agresivos ni abrasivos. Éstos pueden

dañar la superficie y estropear el aparato irreparablemente.

■ Limpie las superficies externas y el cable de red con un paño de cocina

ligeramente húmedo. Seque completamente el aparato, antes de utilizarlo
de nuevo. En caso de suciedad endurecida, añada al paño un detergente
suave. Preste atención que no permanezcan restos de detergentes en y
dentro del aparato antes de volver a ponerlo en funcionamiento.

■ Enjuague el interior de la jarra con agua limpia.

■ Si observa restos de suciedad incrustada en el interior de la jarra, límpiela

con un paño húmedo o utilice un cepillo de limpieza. Tras esto, vuelva a
enjuagar la jarra con agua limpia.

En caso de restos de cal

La sedimentación de cal en el aparato provoca la pérdida de energía e influye
en la durabilidad del aparato.
Descalcifique el aparato en cuanto observe sedimentos de cal.

■ Compre un disolvente de cal adecuado en una tienda de electrodomésticos

(p. ej. un descalcificador para cafeteras). Proceda como se indica en el
manual de instrucciones del disolvente de la cal.

■ Limpie el aparato después de la descalcificación con abundante agua limpia.

Extracción / inserción del filtro antical

1) Abra la tapa.

2) Agarre el filtro antical  por la lengüeta y tire del filtro antical  hacia
arriba para extraerlo del soporte.

3) Limpie el filtro antical  con un paño ligeramente húmedo y bajo el agua
corriente.

4) Tras la limpieza, vuelva a introducir el filtro antical . Asegúrese de que
quede firmemente asentado en el soporte.

INDICACIÓN

► Si quedan restos de cal incrustados en el filtro antical , sumérjalo

durante unas horas en una solución de agua y vinagre con una proporción
de 6:1. Los restos de cal se disolverán. Enjuague el filtro antical  con
abundante agua limpia.

en vigor. En caso de duda póngase en contacto con las instalaciones

Indicaciones acerca de la declaración
de conformidad CE

Este aparato cumple los requisitos básicos y las demás
normas relevantes de la normativa europea sobre compa­tibilidad electromagnética 2014/30/EU así como con la
directiva de baja tensión 2014/35/EU.

La declaración de conformidad original completa la puede
solicitar a la empresa de importación.

Estimado cliente:
Este aparato cuenta con una garantía de 3 años a partir de la fecha de compra.

Si se detectan defectos en el producto, puede ejercer sus derechos legales frente
al vendedor. Estos derechos legales no se ven limitados por la garantía descrita a
continuación.

Condiciones de la garantía

El plazo de la garantía comienza con la fecha de compra. Guarde bien el compro­bante de caja original, ya que lo necesitará como justificante de compra.

Si dentro de un periodo de tres años a partir de la fecha de compra de este producto
se detecta un defecto en su material o un error de fabricación, asumiremos la repara­ción o sustitución gratuita del producto a nuestra elección. La prestación de la garantía
requiere la presentación del aparato defectuoso y del comprobante de caja, así como
una breve descripción por escrito del defecto detectado y de las circunstancias en las
que se haya producido dicho defecto, dentro del plazo de tres años.

Si el defecto está cubierto por nuestra garantía, le devolveremos el producto repa­rado o le suministraremos uno nuevo. La reparación o sustitución del producto no
supone el inicio de un nuevo periodo de garantía.

Duración de la garantía y reclamaciones legales por vicios

La duración de la garantía no se prolonga por hacer uso de ella. Este principio
también se aplica a las piezas sustituidas y reparadas. Si después de la compra del
aparato, se detecta la existencia de daños o de defectos al desembalarlo, deben
notificarse de inmediato. Cualquier reparación que se realice una vez finalizado el
plazo de garantía estará sujeta a costes.

Alcance de la garantía

El aparato se ha fabricado cuidadosamente según estándares elevados de calidad y
se ha examinado en profundidad antes de su entrega.

La prestación de la garantía solo rige para defectos en los materiales o errores de
fabricación. Esta garantía no cubre las piezas del producto normalmente sometidas
al desgaste y que, en consecuencia, puedan considerarse piezas de desgaste ni los
daños producidos en los componentes frágiles, p. ej., interruptores, baterías, moldes
de horno o piezas de vidrio.

Se anulará la garantía si el producto se daña o no se utiliza o mantiene correctamente.
Para utilizar correctamente el producto, deben observarse todas las indicaciones
especificadas en las instrucciones de uso. Debe evitarse cualquier uso y manejo que

Instruções de segurança

PERIGO - CHOQUE ELÉTRICO!

► Certifique-se de que a base com as ligações elétricas nunca

entra em contacto com água! Deixe a base secar totalmen­te, caso tenha ficado húmida acidentalmente.

► Utilize o jarro elétrico apenas com a base fornecida.
► Certifique-se de que o cabo de rede nunca fica molhado ou

húmido durante o funcionamento. Disponha o cabo de
modo a que este não fique entalado nem danificado.

► Fichas de rede ou cabos de alimentação danificados devem

ser imediatamente substituídos por técnicos autorizados ou
pelo serviço de apoio ao cliente, de modo a evitar perigos.

► Após a utilização, retire sempre a ficha da tomada. Não

basta desligar porque ainda existe alguma tensão de rede
no aparelho enquanto a ficha de rede estiver inserida na
tomada.

► Antes da utilização, verifique o aparelho quanto a danos

exteriores visíveis. Não tente colocar em funcionamento um
aparelho avariado ou que tenha sido sujeito a uma queda.

► Solicite a reparação do aparelho apenas a empresas auto-

rizadas ou ao serviço de assistência ao cliente. Reparações
indevidas podem acarretar perigo para o utilizador. Além
disso, a garantia extingue-se.

Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou outros líquidos!

Aqui pode existir perigo de morte por choque elétrico,
caso se verifique uma infiltração de resíduos líquidos, du­rante o funcionamento, nas peças condutoras de tensão.

AVISO - PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Aqueça a água sempre com a tampa fechada, caso contrá-

rio o dispositivo de desativação automática não funciona. A
água a ferver pode transbordar.

► Pode ser libertado vapor muito quente. Além disso, o jarro

fica muito quente durante o funcionamento. Por isso, utilize
luvas de cozinha.

► Antes de ligar o aparelho, certifique-se de que este se encon-

tra numa posição estável e na vertical. Se o aparelho não
assentar corretamente, a água a ferver pode fazê-lo cair.

► Não abra a tampa enquanto a água estiver a ferver.
► Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por pessoas com capacidades

físicas, sensoriais ou mentais reduzidas ou com falta de expe­riência e/ou conhecimento, se estas forem supervisionadas
ou se forem instruídas relativamente à utilização correcta do
aparelho e tiverem compreendido os perigos daí resultantes.

► Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por crianças com idade su-

perior a 8 anos se estas forem supervisionadas ou se forem
instruídas relativamente à utilização correcta do aparelho e
tiverem compreendido os perigos daí resultantes. A limpeza
e manutenção por parte do utilizador não devem ser reali­zadas por crianças, a não ser que estas tenham 8 ou mais
anos de idade e o façam com supervisão. O aparelho e o
respectivo cabo de ligação devem ser mantidos afastados
de crianças com idade inferior a 8 anos.

► As crianças não podem brincar com o aparelho.
► Encha o jarro elétrico, no máximo, até à marcação MAX!

Caso contrário, a água a ferver pode transbordar!

► Utilize sempre o aparelho com o elemento filtrante de calcário

introduzido.

ATENÇÃO - DANOS MATERIAIS!

► Não utilize nenhum temporizador externo ou um sistema de

comando à distância para operar o aparelho.

► Nunca deixe o aparelho sem vigilância durante o funciona-

mento.

► Certifique-se de que o aparelho, o cabo de rede ou a ficha

de rede não entram em contacto com fontes de calor, como
placas de fogão ou chamas abertas.

Preparações

Desembalamento

Ƈ Retire todas as peças e o manual de instruções da caixa.
Ƈ Retire todo o material de embalagem.

Eliminação da embalagem

A embalagem protege o aparelho contra danos durante o transporte.
Os materiais da embalagem são selecionados de acordo com os pontos de
vista ecológicos e técnicos de eliminação e, por isso, são recicláveis.

A reciclagem da embalagem permite a preservação de matérias-primas e reduz
a formação de resíduos. Elimine os materiais da embalagem, que já não são
necessários, de acordo com as prescrições locais em vigor.

NOTA

► Se possível, conserve a embalagem original durante o período de garantia

do aparelho, para que possa embalar o aparelho corretamente em caso
de acionamento da garantia.

Colocação em funcionamento

AVISO - PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Utilize apenas água potável limpa no jarro elétrico! Não consuma água

que não seja considerada potável. Caso contrário, existem riscos para a
saúde!

Antes de colocar o aparelho em funcionamento, certifique-se de que ...

– o aparelho, a ficha de rede e o cabo de rede se encontram em perfeitas

condições e...

– todos os materiais da embalagem foram removidos do aparelho.

1) Abra a tampa, pressionando o botão de bloqueio .

2) Encha o aparelho com água até à marcação MAX e deixe ferver totalmente, tal
como descrito no próximo capítulo.

3) Depois de fervida, despeje esta água.

4) Lave o jarro com água limpa.a

5) Encha o aparelho novamente com água até à marcação MAX e deixe-a
ferver. Despeje também esta água.

6) Lave o jarro com água limpa.

O aparelho encontra-se agora operacional.

Ferver água

PERIGO - CHOQUE ELÉTRICO!

► Nunca coloque a base elétrica  na proximidade de água – perigo de

morte devido a choque elétrico!

AVISO - PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Utilize sempre água potável fresca. Não consuma água que tenha ficado

no jarro por um período superior a uma hora. Não volte a ferver água
arrefecida. Despeje sempre água estagnada. Podem formar-se germes!

NOTA

► Certifique-se sempre de que o interruptor LIGAR/DESLIGAR  se encontra

na posição „0“ (desligado) quando a ficha está desligada da tomada e
o aparelho se encontra na base . Caso contrário, o aparelho aquece
inadvertidamente, assim que ligar a ficha de alimentação à corrente
eléctrica.

1) Retire o jarro para o encher!

2) Abra a tampa, pressionando o botão de bloqueio .

NOTA

►

Mantenha o jarro na vertical ao enchê-lo. Só assim pode ler a escala 
corretamente.

3) Encha o jarro, no máximo, até à marcação MAX, para que a água a ferver
não transborde.

4) Primeiro feche a tampa e, de seguida, coloque o jarro em cima da base ,
de forma que se encontre fixo na base .

5) Insira a ficha de rede na tomada.

6) Pressione o interruptor LIGAR/DESLIGAR  para baixo (posição “I”), de
modo que encaixe.

AVISO - PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Por motivos de segurança não deve abrir a tampa quando a água estiver

a ferver ou muito quente. Existe perigo de queimaduras provocadas pelo
vapor.

7) A iluminação no interruptor LIGAR/DESLIGAR indica que o aparelho está
agora a aquecer.

8) A luz de controlo integrada no interruptor de LIGAR/DESLIGAR  indica
que o aparelho está a aquecer.

INDICAÇÕES

► Este aparelho encontra-se equipado com uma proteção contra sobreaque-

cimento: se o aparelho for ligado involuntariamente, sem que se encontre
água no jarro, o aparelho desliga-se automaticamente.
Se, por exemplo, devido a uma tampa não fechada, o aparelho trabalhar
a seco, o mesmo desliga-se automaticamente.
Neste caso, deixe o aparelho arrefecer antes de o utilizar novamente.

Limpeza e conservação

PERIGO - CHOQUE ELÉTRICO!

► Antes de cada limpeza, retire a ficha de rede da tomada! Caso contrário,

existe perigo de choque elétrico!

► Nunca abra quaisquer peças da estrutura. Não se encontram aí quaisquer

elementos de comando. Com a estrutura aberta, pode existir perigo de
morte por choque elétrico.

Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou outros líquidos! Aqui pode
existir perigo de morte por choque elétrico, caso se verifique uma
infiltração de resíduos líquidos, durante o funcionamento, nas peças
condutoras de tensão.

AVISO - PERIGO DE FERIMENTOS!

► Antes de proceder à limpeza, deixe o aparelho arrefecer. Perigo de

queimaduras!

ATENÇÃO - DANOS MATERIAIS!

► Não utilize produtos de limpeza abrasivos ou corrosivos. Estes podem

danificar a superfície e provocar danos irreparáveis no aparelho.

■ Limpe todas as superfícies exteriores e o cabo de rede com um pano

ligeiramente humedecido. Seque sempre muito bem o aparelho antes de o
utilizar novamente. Em caso de sujidade profunda, aplique um detergente
suave no pano. Certifique-se de que não se encontram quaisquer resíduos
de detergente no aparelho, antes de o colocar em funcionamento.

■ Lave o interior do jarro com água limpa.

■ Em caso de depósitos no jarro, limpe a área interior com um pano húmido

ou utilize uma escova de lavagem ou escovilhão. Lave o jarro mais uma vez
com água limpa.

Em caso de resíduos de calcário

As acumulações de calcário no aparelho provocam perdas de energia e condi­cionam a durabilidade do aparelho.
Descalcifique o aparelho, logo que seja perceptível uma acumulação de calcário.

■ Utilize um descalcificador adequado para recipientes de alimentos (por

ex. descalcificador para máquinas de café). Proceda tal como descrito nas
instruções do descalcificador.

■ Depois de retirar o calcário, lave o aparelho muito bem com muita água

limpa.

Colocar / retirar o elemento filtrante de calcário

1) Abra a tampa.

2) Agarre o elemento filtrante de calcário  pela patilha e puxe o elemento
filtrante de calcário  para cima, para fora do suporte.

3) Limpe o elemento filtrante de calcário  com um pano ligeiramente hume­decido e em água corrente.

4) Após a limpeza, coloque novamente o elemento filtrante de calcário .
Certifique-se de que este está colocado corretamente no suporte.

NOTA

► Se o elemento filtrante de calcário  apresentar resíduos de calcário,

coloque-o durante algumas horas numa solução de água e vinagre, numa
proporção de 6:1. Os resíduos de calcário soltam-se. Lave o elemento
filtrante de calcário  abundantemente com água limpa.

Guardar

■ Deixe o aparelho arrefecer completamente antes de o guardar.

■ Enrole o cabo de rede no dispositivo de enrolamento do cabo  por baixo

da base .

■ Guarde o aparelho num local seco.

os regulamentos atualmente em vigor. Em caso de dúvida, entre em contacto
com a sua entidade de eliminação.

Este aparelho tem uma garantia de 3 anos a contar da data de compra. No caso

deste produto ter defeitos, tem direitos legais contra o vendedor do produto. Estes
direitos legais não são limitados pela nossa garantia que passamos a transcrever.

Condições de garantia

O prazo de garantia tem início na data da compra. Por favor, guarde bem o talão
de compra original. Este documento é necessário como comprovativo da compra.

Se dentro de três anos a partir da data de compra deste produto, ocorrer um defeito
de material ou fabrico, o produto será reparado ou substituído por nós – consoante
a nossa preferência – gratuitamente. Esta garantia parte do princípio que o aparelho
defeituoso e o comprovativo da compra (talão de compra) são apresentados dentro
do prazo de três anos e é descrito brevemente, por escrito, em que consiste o defeito
e quando ocorreu.

Se o defeito estiver coberto pela nossa garantia, receberá o produto reparado ou
um novo produto.

Prazo de garantia e direitos legais

O período de garantia não é prolongado pelo acionamento da mesma. Isto também
se aplica a peças substituídas e reparadas. Danos e defeitos que possam eventual­mente já existir no momento da compra devem ser imediatamente comunicados, após

A garantia abrange apenas defeitos de material ou de fabrico. Esta garantia não
