You have clearly decided in favour of a high-quality product. These operating instruc-
tions are a part of this product. They contain important information in regard to
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all
of these operating and safety instructions. Use this appliance only as described
and only for the specified areas of application. In addition, pass these operating
instructions on to whoever might acquire the appliance at a future date.

Unpacking
♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the carton.
♦ Remove all packing material.

► Packaging materials should not be used as a play thing. There is a risk of
suffocation.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no
longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
► If possible, preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period, so that in the event of a warranty claim you can package the appliance
ideally for its return.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► This appliance must only be connected to a properly installed
wall power socket providing electrical energy at the level
detailed on the rating plate.
► Under no circumstances may the appliance be submersed in
fluids or fluids be allowed to permeate the housing. The appliance must not be exposed to moisture or used outdoors.
Should liquids enter the housing, disconnect the appliance
from the mains power socket immediately and arrange for it
to be repaired by a qualified technician.
► In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the
appliance, remove the plug from the mains power socket.
► Disconnect the appliance by pulling on the plug itself, not on
the power cable.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and
protect the cable from being damaged.
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power
cables to be replaced at once by qualified technicians or
our Customer Service Department.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route it in such a
way as to prevent people from stepping on or tripping over it.
► Do not use extension cables.
► Never hold the appliance, the power cable or the power
plug with wet hands.
► Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► You must not open the device housing or attempt to repair
the device yourself. Should you do so, the safety of the appliance is no longer assured and the warranty will become
void. Only allow authorised technicians to repair a defective
appliance.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or
moist during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot
be crushed or damaged.
► Ensure that objects can never penetrate into the inside of the
appliance, particularly not metal hair clips, grips or hairpins.
Never use the appliance near water, particularly not near
sinks, bathtubs or similar vessels. The proximity of water
presents a risk, even when the appliance is switched off.
Always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket
after use. As additional protection, the installation of a
residual current circuit-breaker with an activation power
rating of not more than 30 mA is recommended for the
power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.

► This appliance may be used by children of the age of 8 years
or over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge
if they are supervised or, in regard to the safe use of the
appliance, have been instructed in its use and have understood the potential risks.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance tasks should not be carried
out by children, unless they are at least 8 or more years old
and are supervised.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Never put the appliance down when it is switched on, and
never leave a switched-on appliance unsupervised.
► Never place the appliance close to sources of heat, and
protect the power cable against potential damage.
► Do not operate the appliance if it has sustained a fall or is
damaged in any way. Have the appliance checked and/or
repaired by qualified technicians.
► Do not cover the air intake grille while operating the
appliance. Clean the grille at regular intervals.
► The appliance and its accessories can become hot when in
use. Therefore, only touch the handle and the buttons.
► Always use the appliance with the attachments fitted, never
on its own, since the attachment insertion slot becomes hot
during operation.
► Allow the appliance to cool down before attaching or de-
taching attachments.
► Use only the supplied original accessories, since these have
been optimised for interaction with the appliance. Other
parts may not be adequately safe.
► Keep the air inlet and outlet openings clear so as to have
unimpaired air flow. Otherwise the appliance may overheat.
► Exercise caution when using hair spray, water atomizers etc.
The air flow may blow these substances directly into your eyes.
On the other hand, these substances must not be allowed
to penetrate the appliance, since they may be inflammable,
aggressive or electrically conductive.

First use
■ Before taking the appliance into use ensure that ...
– the appliance and its accessory parts are in perfect working condition,
– all packaging materials have been removed.
■ Clean all of the attachments as described under “Cleaning and care”.
Attachment fitting / removal

► After operation, the appliance components may be hot!
Fitting Attachments
■ Insert the desired attachment into the attachment insertion slot , so that
the front arrow symbol on the attachment points at the arrow symbol on the
attachment insertion slot .
■ Turn the attachment clockwise until it clicks into place. The back arrow on the
attachment now points at the arrow on the attachment insertion slot
Removing attachments
■ First switch the appliance off and allow it to coosl down.
■ Press the release button “push” and turn the attachment anti-clockwise
■ The attachment can now be removed by pulling it out of the attachment inser-
tion slot .

Switching on /off / Selecting a heat level
■ When you have inserted the required attachment and connected the plug
with the mains power socket, you can now switch the appliance on with the
level switch and select the output level:
– “0“ The appliance is switched off
– “1“ for a reduced air-flow strength with heat
– “2“ for a high air-flow strength with heat
■ You switch the appliance off by sliding the level switch to the position “0”
(= appliance off).
■ To fix the styling, you can use the slide switch Cool Shot . The styling will
be fixed by the cool air stream:
– During operation, slide the slide switch Cool Shot upwards.
The air flow will be cooler.
– When you want to deactivate the cool air stream, slide the slide switch
Cool Shot downwards.
Using the attachments
Large round brush
This attachment gives the hair more volume or large curls.
■ Wind a slightly damp strand of hair around the large round brush -.
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ When the strand is dry, slide the slide switch Cool Shot upwards.
Wait until the strand has cooled.
■ Unwind the large round brush - from the strand.
■ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.
Small round brush
With this attachment you can put curls or waves into your hair.
■ Wind a slightly damp strand of hair around the small round brush .
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ When the strand is dry, slide the slide switch Cool Shot upwards.
Wait until the strand has cooled.
■ Unwind the small round brush from the strand.
■ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.

Curling tongs
With this attachment you can put small spiral curls (angel curls) into your hair.
■ Secure the tip of the strand with the clip on the curling tongs .
■ Then wind the slightly damp strand of hair around the curling tongs .
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ When the strand is dry, slide the slide switch Cool Shot upwards.
Wait until the strand has cooled.
■ Pull the curling tongs out of the strand.
■ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.

Double brush
This attachment is suitable for drying particularly long hair.
■ Take up a lock of hair near the root using the open double brush 3, close
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ Pull the hair slowly through the double brush 3 so that the lock is dried all

Cleaning and Care
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Before cleaning the appliance, always disconnect the power cable from
the mains power socket. There is a risk of receiving an electric shock!
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it. Risk of Burns!
CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use any aggressive, abrasive or chemical cleaning agents! These
could damage the upper surfaces of the appliance.
■ Clean the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth.
■ Allow the appliance to dry completely before re-use or before storing it.
■ If necessary, wipe the storage bag . or the attachments ///
-/3/! with a damp cloth.
■ Clean the air intake grill at regular intervals with a soft brush.
Storage
■ You can also hang the appliance up by the suspension loop .
■ If you are intending to not use the appliance for an extended period, store it
in the storage bag .. The appliance must be cooled down for this!
Tips for the perfect hairstyle
■ Only style your hair when it is already almost dry.
■ Divide your hair into individual strands for more volume.
■ You will achieve additional volume by starting to dry your hair at the hairline
and working down towards the ends.
■ After switching the appliance off, wait for a few seconds before releasing
the curl.
■ Let your hair cool down sufficiently before combing it out.
■ Fix the hair with a little hairspray.

Disposal of the appliance
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
■ Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 12345) available
as proof of purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front
page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of
the appliance.
■ If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department
listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
■ You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address
that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase
(till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.

NAPOMENA

Raspakiranje
♦ Izvadite sve dijelove uređaja i upute za rukovanje iz kartona.
♦ Odstranite sav materijal pakiranja.
UPOZORENJE! OPASNOST OD GUŠENJA!
► Materijali pakiranja ne smiju biti korišteni za dječju igru. Postoji opasnost
od gušenja.
Zbrinjavanje pakiranja
Pakiranje štiti uređaj od transportnih oštećenja. Materijali pakiranja su izabrani
prema ekološkim kriterijima i kriterijima zbrinjavanja i stoga su prikladni za
recikliranje.
Vraćanje pakiranja u kružni tok materijala štedi sirovine i umanjuje količinu nastalog
otpada. Materijal pakiranja, koji Vam više nije potreban, zbrinite u skladu sa
važećim lokalnim propisima.
NAPOMENA
► Ako je moguće, sačuvajte originalno pakiranje za vrijeme trajanja jamstvenog
roka uređaja, kako biste u slučaju korištenja prava na jamstvo mogli uređaj
uredno zapakirati.

Sigurnosne napomene
OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UDARA!
► Uređaj priključite isključivo na propisno instaliranu mrežnu
utičnicu s mrežnim naponom koji odgovara podacima na
tipskoj pločici.
► Uređaj nikako ne smijete uranjati u tekućinu i ne smijete
dopustiti da tekućina dospije u kućište uređaja. Uređaj ne
smijete izlagati vlazi i ne smijete ga koristiti na otvorenom.
Ukoliko tekućina ipak dospije u kućište uređaja, odmah izvucite
utikač uređaja iz utičnice, a uređaj predajte na popravak kvalificiranom stručnom osoblju.
► U slučajevima bilo kakve pogonske smetnje i prije čišćenja
uređaja, izvucite mrežni utikač iz mrežne utičnice.
► Mrežni utikač izvucite iz utičnice povlačenjem za utikač.
Nikada ne povlačite sam kabel.
► Mrežni priključni dovodni kabel ne omatajte oko uređaja i
zaštitite ga od oštećenja.
► Oštećene mrežne utikače ili oštećen mrežni kabel neizostavno

► Kućište uređaja ne smijete otvarati ili popravljati. U tom
slučaju sigurnost nije garantirana i jamstvo prestaje važiti.
Neispravan uređaj smije popravljati isključivo ovlašteno
stručno osoblje.
► Obratite pažnju na to da za vrijeme rada uređaja mrežni
kabel ne bude mokar ili vlažan.
Kabel postavite tako da se ne može ukliještiti ili oštetiti.
► Pazite da nikakvi predmeti ne dospiju u sam uređaj, a posebno
ne metalne kopče ili igle za kosu.
Uređaj nikada ne koristite u blizini vode, posebno ne u
blizini umivaonika, kade ili drugih spremnika za vodu.
Blizina vode uvijek predstavlja opasnost, čak i kada je
uređaj isključen. Zbog toga nakon svake uporabe izvucite
utikač. Kao dodatnu zaštitu preporučujemo instalaciju osiguravajućeg zaštitnog uređaja s aktivacijskom strujom ne

Puštanje u rad
■ Prije nego što uređaj stavite u pogon, uvjerite se u to, da ...
– su uređaj i dijelovi opreme u besprijekornom stanju,
– su odstranjeni svi materijali pakiranja.
■ Očistite dijelove opreme na način opisan u poglavlju “Čišćenje i održavanje“.
Postavljanje / skidanje nastavka

► Nakon prethodnog rada uređaja njegovi dijelovi mogu biti vrlo vrući!
Postavljanje nastavka
■ Željeni nastavak nataknite na odgovarajuće utično mjesto za nastavke ,
tako da prednji simbol strelice na nastavku bude usmjeren na simbol strelice
na utičnom mjestu za nastavke .
■ Okrenite nastavak u smjeru kazaljke na satu, dok čujno ne ulegne. Stražnja
strelica na nastavku sada pokazuje na strelicu na utičnom mjestu za nastavke
Skidanje nastavka
■ Uređaj isključite i ostavite da se ohladi.
■ Pritisnite tipku za deblokadu „push“ i okrenite nastavak u smjeru protivnom
kazaljci sata
■ Nastavak sa utičnog mjesta za nastavke možete skinuti isključivo povlačenjem.

Uključivanje / Isključivanje / Odabir stupnja
■ Kada ste nataknuli željeni nastavak i mrežni utikač utaknuli u utičnicu, možete
preko stupanjskog prekidača uključiti uređaj i odabrati željeni stupanj:
– „0“ uređaj je isključen
– „1“ za nisku jačinu ispuhavanja toplog zraka
– „2“ za visoku jačinu ispuhavanja toplog zraka
■ Uređaj možete isključiti tako, što ćete stupanjski prekidač gurnuti u
položaj „0“ (= uređaj isključen).
■ Za fiksiranje oblika stylinga možete koristiti prekidač Cool Shot .
Hladan mlaz zraka će fiksirati styling:
– Za vrijeme rada gurnite prekidač Cool Shot prema gore. Mlaz zraka
postaje hladniji.
– Ako hladan mlaz zraka želite ponovo deaktivirati, gurnite prekidač Cool
Shot prema dolje.
Primjena nastavaka
Velika okrugla četka
Ovaj nastavak kosi daje veći volumen ili velike kovrče.
■ Namotajte blago navlažen pramen kose oko velike okrugle četke -.
■ Uređaj uključite na stupanj 1 ili 2.
■ Kada je pramen kose suh, gurnite prekidač Cool Shot prema gore.
Pričekajte, dok se pramen ne ohladi.
■ Okretanjem veliku okruglu četku - izvadite iz pramena kose.
■ Sa ostalim pramenovima postupite na jednaki način.
Mala okrugla četka
Sa ovim nastavkom možete u kosi stvoriti kovrče ili valove.
■ Namotajte blago navlažen pramen kose oko male okrugle četke .
■ Uređaj uključite na stupanj 1 ili 2.
■ Kada se pramen osuši, gurnite prekidač Cool Shot prema gore.
Pričekajte dok se pramen ne ohladi.
■ Okretanjem izvadite malu okruglu četku iz pramena.
■ Sa ostalim pramenovima postupite na jednaki način.

Kliješta za kovrče
Sa ovim nastavkom možete male spiralne kovrčice (anđeoske kovrče) napraviti
u kosi.
■ Vrh pramena fiksirajte kopčom kliješta za kovrče .
■ Namotajte blago navlažen pramen kose oko kliješta za kovrče .
■ Uključite uređaj na stupanj 1 ili 2.
■ Kada se pramen osuši, gurnite prekidač Cool Shot prema gore.
Pričekajte da se pramen ohladi.
■ Izvucite kliješta za kovrče iz pramena kose.
■ Sa ostalim pramenovima postupite na jednaki način.

Dvostruka četka
Ovaj nastavak je prikladan za sušenje posebno duge kose.
■ Zahvatite pramen kose sa isklopljenom dvostrukom četkom 3 blizu tjemena,
zatvorite dvostruku četku 3 i držite je zatvorenu.
■ Uključite uređaj na stupanj 1 ili 2.
■ Povucite pramen polako kroz dvostruku četku 3 tako, da pramen bude
osušen sve do vrhova.
■ Sa ostalim pramenovima postupite na jednaki način.
Poluobla četka
Poluobla četka je prikladna za češljanje i istovremeno sušenje kose.
