Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung.

1. Produktbeschreibung

1.1 Verwendungszweck

Der Raclette-Grill SilverCrest SRG1200B2 ist zum Grillen und Garen von Speisen geeignet. Verwenden Sie den Raclette-Grill ausschließlich innerhalb Ihres Haushaltes und niemals im Freien. Das Produkt darf nicht zum Auftauen, zum Erwärmen oder Trocknen von Gegenständen benutzt werden. Dieses Produkt ist für den Einsatz in Privathaushalten und nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz geeignet.

Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche.

Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

Das Produkt ist ebenfalls geeignet für:

• den Einsatz in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerblichen Bereichen,

4.2 Besondere Hinweise für dieses Produkt

Warnung! Beachten Sie folgende Hinweise, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.

• Dieses Produkt kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und

von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauches des Produktes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Produkt spielen.

• Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht

durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt.

• Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre sind vom Produkt und der Netzanschlussleitung fernzuhalten.

• Die metallischen Oberflächen des Gerätes können heiß werden. Fassen Sie daher das Gerät ausschließlich an den Griffen

an.

• Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

• Tauchen Sie das Produkt nie in Wasser ein und schützen Sie es vor Spritz- und Tropfwasser.

• Lassen Sie das Produkt vor dem Reinigen soweit abkühlen, dass keine Verbrennungsgefahr mehr besteht.

• Holzkohle oder ähnliche Brennstoffe dürfen für dieses Produkt nicht verwendet werden.

• Gefahr für Vögel! Vögel atmen schneller, verteilen die Luft anders in ihrem Körper und sind deutlich kleiner als Menschen. Deshalb kann es für Vögel sehr gefährlich sein, selbst kleinste Rauchmengen, die beim Betrieb dieses Produktes mit Antihaftbeschichtung entstehen, einzuatmen. Wenn Sie mit dem Produkt arbeiten, sollten Vögel in einen anderen Raum gebracht werden.

Vorsicht! Um Sachschäden zu vermeiden, beachten Sie folgende Bestimmungen:

• Verwenden Sie keinesfalls scheuernde, ätzende oder kratzende Reinigungsmittel. Dadurch könnte das Produkt sowie die Antihaft-Beschichtung beschädigt werden.

• Das Produkt darf nicht mit einer externen Zeitschaltuhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem, wie zum Beispiel einer Funksteckdose, betrieben werden.

4.3 Allgemeine Hinweise

• Lesen Sie vor dem Gebrauch bitte sorg-

fältig diese Bedienungsanleitung. Sie ist Bestandteil des Produktes und muss jederzeit verfügbar sein.

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur für den

beschriebenen Verwendungszweck

(siehe „1.1 Verwendungszweck“ auf Seite 3).

• Überprüfen Sie, ob die erforderliche Netzspannung (siehe Typenschild am Produkt) mit Ihrer Netzspannung übereinstimmt, um eine Beschädigung zu verhindern.

• Bitte beachten Sie, dass jeglicher Anspruch auf Garantie und Haftung erlischt, wenn Zubehörteile verwendet werden, die nicht in dieser Bedienungsanleitung empfohlen werden. Dies gilt auch, wenn bei Reparaturen nicht ausschließlich Originalersatzteile verwendet werden. Dies gilt auch für Reparaturen, die durch nichtqualifizierte Personen durchgeführt werden. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „Service-Center” auf Seite 12.

• Bei eventuellen Funktionsstörungen während der Garantiezeit darf die Instandsetzung des Produktes nur durch unser Service-Center erfolgen. Ansonsten erlischt jeglicher Garantieanspruch. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „ServiceCenter” auf Seite 12.

• Lassen Sie das Produkt während des Betriebes niemals unbeaufsichtigt, um rechtzeitig einschreiten zu können, falls Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nie zur Stolperfalle wird oder sich jemand darin verfangen oder darauftreten kann und sich dabei verletzt.

• Das Produkt darf ausschließlich auf einem festen, ebenen, trockenen und nicht brennbaren Untergrund aufgestellt werden. Damit soll verhindert werden, dass es umkippt, verrutscht oder die Unterlage Feuer fängt und dadurch Schaden entsteht.

• Halten Sie einen Abstand von mindestens 50 cm zu anderen Gegenständen ein, damit diese kein Feuer fangen können.

• Das Produkt darf nicht auf heiße Herdplatten gestellt, in den heißen Backofen geschoben oder in der Nähe von Gasund Durchlauferhitzern aufgestellt werden, da dies zu Beschädigungen führen könnte.

• Verwenden Sie nur Besteck aus Holz oder hitzebeständigem Kunststoff. Besteck aus Metall könnte die beschichtete Oberfläche der Grillplatte 1 sowie der Raclette-Pfännchen 8 beschädigen.

• Lassen Sie beim Aufheizen und im Betrieb keine leeren RaclettePfännchen 8 im Produkt. Durch die Überhitzung könnte die AntihaftBeschichtung beschädigt werden.

• Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Produkt.

4.4 Schutz vor elektrischem Schlag

Warnung! Die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sollen Sie vor einem elektrischen Schlag schützen.

• Wenn das Produkt beschädigt ist, darf das Produkt keinesfalls benutzt werden. Lassen Sie das Produkt in diesem Falle von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „Service-Center” auf Seite 12.

• Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Produktes beschädigt wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

• In das Produkt dürfen keinesfalls Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten eindringen. Daher: – niemals im Freien einsetzen – niemals in Flüssigkeit tauchen

– keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegen-

stände, z.B. Töpfe, darauf stellen

– niemals in sehr feuchter Umgebung

einsetzen.

Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Produkt gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker und lassen das Produkt von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „ServiceCenter” auf Seite 12.

• Schließen Sie das Produkt nur an eine Netzsteckdose mit Schutzkontakten (Schuko) an.

• Vermeiden Sie die Benutzung von Verlängerungskabeln. Sie ist nur unter ganz bestimmten Voraussetzungen gestattet: – das Verlängerungskabel muss für die

Stromstärke des Produktes geeignet sein

– das Verlängerungskabel darf nicht

„fliegend“ verlegt sein: es darf nicht zur Stolperfalle werden oder von Kindern erreichbar sein

– das Verlängerungskabel darf keines-

falls beschädigt sein

– es dürfen keine weiteren Produkte als

dieses Produkt an der Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden, da es sonst zu einer Überlastung des Stromnetzes kommen kann (Verbot von Mehrfachsteckdosen!).

• Fassen Sie das Produkt, die Netzanschlussleitung oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Händen an.

• Ziehen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung stets am Netzstecker heraus. Ziehen Sie niemals an der Netzanschlussleitung selber.

• Tragen Sie das Produkt nie an der Netzanschlussleitung.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nie geknickt oder gequetscht wird.

• Wickeln Sie die Netzanschlussleitung im Betrieb vollständig ab, um eine Überhitzung und Durchschmoren zu verhindern.

• Halten Sie die Netzanschlussleitung von heißen Flächen (z.B. Herdplatte) fern.

• Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 immer auf „0“ bevor Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, damit das Produkt ausgeschaltet ist und kein hoher Strom fließt.

• Wenn Sie das Produkt nicht benutzen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Nur dann ist das Produkt völlig stromfrei.

• Bei einem Gewitter kann das am Stromnetz angeschlossene Produkt durch Blitzschlag beschädigt werden.

4.5 Schutz vor Verbrühungen und

Verbrennungen

Warnung! Heiße Oberflächen und heißes Fett können zu Verletzungen führen. Beachten Sie daher:

• Stellen Sie das Produkt während der Benutzung nicht um.

• Verwenden Sie Küchenhandschuhe, wenn Sie Speisen mit hoher Temperatur

garen. Fettspritzer können sonst zu Verbrennungen führen.

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nie ohne die Grillplatte 1. Sonst würden die glühenden Heizelemente freiliegen und könnten bei Berührung schwere Verbrennungen verursachen.

• Sollte sich Fett auf dem Produkt entzünden, löschen Sie es auf keinen Fall mit Wasser! Es besteht die Gefahr einer explosionsartigen Verpuffung oder eines elektrischen Schlages. Decken Sie stattdessen das Produkt ab, z.B. mit einer Löschdecke.

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nie in der Nähe von Gardinen und anderen brennbaren Materialien. Sollte sich das Grillgut entzünden, könnten so die Flammen leicht auf andere Gegenstände überspringen.

4.6 Zur Sicherheit Ihres Kindes

Warnung! Kinder können Gefahren oft nicht richtig einschätzen und sich dadurch Verletzungen zuziehen. Beachten Sie daher:

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolie nicht zur tödlichen Falle für Kinder wird. Verpackungsfolien sind kein Spielzeug.

5. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

Bei der Produktion bekommen viele Teile einen dünnen Ölfilm zu ihrem Schutz. Betreiben Sie das Produkt vor dem ersten Gebrauch ohne Gargut, damit eventuell vorhandene Rückstände verdampfen können.

Hinweis: Bei den ersten Aufheizvorgängen kann es zu einer leichten Geruchsentwicklung kommen. Sorgen Sie deshalb für eine ausreichende Belüftung.

1. Nehmen Sie das Produkt und alle Zubehörteile aus der Verpackung.

2. Überprüfen Sie, dass das Produkt keine Beschädigungen aufweist.

3. Entfernen Sie eventuell vorhandene Aufkleber, aber nicht das Typenschild auf der Unterseite.

4. Reinigen Sie das Produkt vor der ersten Benutzung. Beachten Sie hierzu die Hinweise in dem Kapitel „6. Bedienen” auf Seite 8.

5. Wählen Sie einen Standort, der fest, eben und unbrennbar ist. Halten Sie dabei einen Abstand von ca. 50 cm zu anderen Gegenständen ein.

6. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 auf „0“.

Damit ist die Heizung ausgeschaltet.

7. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine geeignete Netzsteckdose, die den technischen Daten entspricht.

Die rote Kontroll-Leuchte 2 leuchtet.

6. Bedienen

6.1 Produkt vorbereiten,

ein- und ausschalten

1. Wählen Sie einen Standort, der fest, eben und unbrennbar ist. Halten Sie dabei einen Abstand von ca. 50 cm zu anderen Gegenständen ein.

2. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 auf „0“.

Damit ist die Heizung ausgeschaltet.

3. Ölen Sie die Raclette-Pfännchen 8 von innen und die Grillplatte 1 auf der Oberseite leicht ein.

Hinweis: Benutzen Sie dazu ein Küchentuch, auf das Sie etwas Speiseöl geträufelt haben.

4. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine geeignete Netzsteckdose, die den technischen Daten entspricht.

Die rote Kontroll-Leuchte 2 leuchtet.

8. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 auf die Stufe MAX.

Die Temperatur-leuchte 4 leuchtet und das Gerät heizt auf.

9. Lassen Sie das Produkt etwa 10 – 15 Minuten eingeschaltet.

10.Schalten Sie die Heizung wieder aus, indem Sie den Temperaturregler 3 auf „0“ drehen.

11.Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Produkt abkühlen.

12.Reinigen Sie das Produkt erneut. Beachten Sie hierzu die Hinweise in dem Kapitel „6. Bedienen” auf Seite 8.

5. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 im Uhrzeigersinn auf MAX.

Die Temperatur-Leuchte 4 leuchtet und das Gerät heizt auf.

6. Lassen Sie das Produkt etwa 10 Minuten vorheizen.

Das Produkt ist nun betriebsbereit.

7. Um die Heizung auszuschalten,, drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf „0“.

8. Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Nur so ist das Produkt völlig stromfrei.

6.2 Temperatur regeln

Die optimale Temperatur hängt vor allem von den verwendeten Lebensmitteln ab. Hinweise:

– Während des Betriebes geht die Tem-

peratur-Leuchte 4 und damit die Heizung immer wieder an und aus. Damit

wird die Temperatur annähernd konstant gehalten.

– Im höheren Temperaturbereich geht

die Heizung auf Dauerbetrieb und die Temperatur-Leuchte 4 leuchtet ständig.

1. Sollte die Temperatur zu hoch sein, drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 ein Stück in Richtung „0“.

2. Wenn die Temperatur zu niedrig ist und das Garen zu lange dauert, drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 3 ein Stück in Richtung MAX.

6.3 Raclette zubereiten

1. Füllen Sie die Raclette-Pfännchen 8 mit den gewünschten Zutaten.

Vorsicht! Befüllen Sie das RaclettePfännchen 8 nicht zu hoch, da die Zutaten sonst zu dicht an den Grill kommen und verbrennen könnten.

7. Reinigen und lagern

Warnung! Um die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages oder einer Beschädigung zu vermeiden: – Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung

den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

– Tauchen Sie das Produkt nie in

Wasser ein und schützen Sie es vor Spritz- und Tropfwasser.

– Lassen Sie das Produkt vor dem

Reinigen soweit abkühlen, dass keine Verbrennungsgefahr mehr

besteht. Vor sic ht! Verwenden Sie keinesfalls scheuernde, ätzende oder kratzende Reinigungsmittel. Dadurch könnte das Produkt sowie die

Antihaft-Beschichtung der Grillplatte 1 und der Raclette-Pfännchen 8 beschädigt werden.

2. Stellen Sie das Raclette-Pfännchen 8 in das Produkt in die dafür vorgesehenen Vertiefungen 5.

3. Nehmen Sie das Raclette-Pfännchen 8 aus dem Produkt, sobald die Zutaten gar sind.

4. Schieben Sie den Inhalt des RaclettePfännchens 8 mit einem Holzspachtel auf einen Teller und lassen Sie es sich schmecken.

Hinweis: Da das Raclette-Pfännchen 8 eine Antihaft-Beschichtung hat, muss es nicht vor jeder weiteren Portion erneut eingefettet werden.

6.4 Grillen mit der Grillplatte

Die Grillplatte 1 dient vor allem dazu, Fleisch, Würstchen, Obst und Gemüse zu grillen.

Hinweis: Warten Sie nach dem Abkühlen nicht zu lange mit dem Reinigen, damit die Essensreste nicht festtrocknen und sich dann nur noch schwer entfernen lassen.

7.1 Unterteil reinigen

1. Reinigen Sie das Unterteil 6 mit einem feuchten Lappen. Sie können auch etwas Spülmittel nehmen.

2. Wischen Sie mit klarem Wasser nach.

3. Benutzen Sie das Produkt erst wieder, wenn es vollständig getrocknet ist.

7.2 Grillplatte und Zubehör reinigen

1. Reinigen Sie Grillplatte 1, RaclettePfännchen 8 und die Holzspachtel 9 in warmem Spülwasser von Hand.

2. Bei hartnäckigen Verkrustungen lassen Sie die Teile etwa 20 – 30 min in warmem Wasser einweichen. Dem Wasser können Sie etwas mildes Spülmittel zugeben.

8. Entsorgung

8.1 Produkt

Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen Abfalltonne auf Rädern bedeutet, dass das Produkt in der Europäischen Union einer

getrennten Müllsammlung zugeführt werden muss. Dies gilt für das Produkt und alle mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichneten Zubehörteile. Gekennzeichnete Produkte dürfen nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden, sondern müssen an einer Annahmestelle für das Recycling

3. Trocknen Sie alle Teile nach der Reinigung sorgfältig ab.

7.3 Produkt lagern

Um das Produkt zu verstauen:

1. Wickeln Sie die Netzanschlussleitung um die Kabelaufwicklung 10.

2. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckeraufnahme 11.

von elektrischen und elektronischen Produkten abgegeben werden. Recycling hilft, den Verbrauch von Rohstoffen zu reduzieren und die Umwelt zu entlasten. Informationen zur Entsorgung und zur Lage des nächsten Recyclinghofes erhalten Sie z.B. bei Ihrer Stadtreinigung oder in den Gelben Seiten.

8.2 Verpackung

Wenn Sie die Verpackung entsorgen möchten, achten Sie auf die entsprechenden Umweltvorschriften in Ihrem Land.

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb der Drei-

jahresfrist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon) vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und wann er aufgetreten ist. Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft. Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schaltern, Akkus oder Teilen, die aus Glas gefertigt sind. Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.

Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden. Das Produkt ist lediglich für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserem autorisierten Service-Center vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

1. Description de l’appareil

1.1 Destination

Le raclette-grill SilverCrest SRG1200B2 est destiné à faire griller et à faire cuire des aliments. Utilisez le raclette-grill uniquement dans votre maison et jamais à l’extérieur. L’appareil n’est pas destiné à la décongélation, ni au chauffage ou au séchage d’objets. Cet appareil est destiné aux ménages privés et non à un usage professionnel. L'appareil est également conçu pour être utilisé :

• Les surfaces métalliques de l’appareil peuvent devenir brûlantes. Ne tenez l’appareil que par ses poignées

• Avant chaque nettoyage, débranchez la fiche de la prise secteur.

• Ne plongez jamais l'appareil dans de l'eau et protégez-le des projections et des écoulements d'eau.

• Avant le nettoyage, laissez refroidir l’appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus aucun risque de brûlure.

• Il est interdit d’utiliser du charbon de bois ou des combustibles sembables avec cet appareil.

• Danger pour les oiseaux! Les oiseaux respirent plus vite, l’air se répartit différemment dans leur corps et ils sont considérablement plus petits que les humains. C’est pourquoi il peut tre très dangereux pour eux de respirer ne serait-ce qu’une infime quantité de fumée produite par l’utilisation de cet appareil à revêtement antiadhésif. Lorsque vous utilisez ce produit, il est recommandé de transporter les oiseaux dans une autre pièce.

Attention ! Respectez les consignes suivantes pour éviter les dommages matériels.

• N'utilisez en aucun cas des produits de nettoyage récurants, corrosifs ou abrasifs. Cela pourrait endommager le revêtement anti-adhésif de l'appareil.

• L'appareil ne doit pas être mis en marche au moyen d’une minuterie externe ni d'un système de déclenchement à distance séparé, par ex. prise à télécommande RF.

4.3 Consignes générales

• Veuillez lire avec attention la présente notice d’utilisation avant utilisation. Elle fait partie intégrante de l’appareil et doit être à tout moment disponible.

• Affectez l'appareil uniquement de l'usage prévu (voir « 1.1 Destination » à la page 13).

• Afin d’éviter tout endommagement, assurez-vous que la tension secteur nécessaire (voir plaque signalétique sur l’appareil) concorde avec la tension secteur de l’installation.

• Veuillez prendre note que toute prétention à des droits de garantie et reconnaissance de notre responsabilité seront sans effet si des accessoires, autres que ceux recommandés dans cette présente notice d’utilisation, sont utilisés ou si des pièces de rechange non d’origine sont employées lors de réparations. Il en sera de même pour toute réparation effectuée par un personnel non qualifié. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 23.

• Seul notre centre de service après-vente est habilité à remettre en état l'appareil durant la période de garantie dans le cas de dysfonctionnements éventuels. Dans le cas contraire, il ne pourra être prétendu à aucun droit de garantie. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 23.

• Ne laissez jamais l’appareil sans surveillance lorsque celui-ci est en marche, afin de pouvoir intervenir à temps si des dysfonctionnements apparaissent.

• Veillez à ce que le câble d’alimentation ne puisse provoquer de chute et à ce

que personne ne puisse marcher dessus et se blesser.

• L’appareil est à installer exclusivement sur un support solide, plan, sec et non inflammable de sorte qu’il ne bascule ou ne glisse ou que le support ne prenne feu, occasionnant ainsi des dommages.

• Observez une distance de minimum 50 cm aux autres objets de sorte que ceux-ci ne puissent prendre feu.

• L’appareil ne doit en aucun cas être posé sur des plaques de cuisson chaudes, dans des fours à haute température ou à proximité d’un réchauffeur gaz ou liquide, cela pouvant induire des dommages.

• N’utilisez que des couverts en bois ou en plastique résistant aux hautes températures. Les couverts en métal peuvent endommager le revêtement de surface de la plaque grill 1 ou des poêlons à raclette 8.

• Pendant la période de chauffe et lors de l'utilisation, ne laissez pas de poêlons à raclette vides 8 dans l'appareil. La surchauffe pourrait endommager le revêtement anti-adhérent.

• Ne posez aucun objet sur l’appareil.

4.4 Protection contre le risque

d’électrocution

Avertissement ! Les consignes de sécurité à suivre sont destinées à vous protéger de toute électrocution.

• Si l’appareil est endommagé, ne l’utiliser en aucun cas. Faites dans ce cas réparer l’appareil par une main d’oeuvre qualifiée. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 23.

• Si le câble d‘alimenation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le

fabricant, son service après-ventes ou des personne de qualification similaire afin d‘éviter un danger.

• Ne faites jamais pénétrer de l’eau ou tout autre liquide dans l’appareil. C’est pourquoi : – ne jamais utiliser l’appareil en

extérieur ; – ne jamais le plonger dans un liquide ; – ne jamais poser dessus de récipient,

par ex. une marmite, rempli de

liquide ; – ne jamais utiliser l’appareil dans un

environnement très humide. Si du liquide venait à pénétrer à

l’intérieur de l’appareil, débranchez immédiatement la prise mâle secteur et faites réparer l’appareil par un personnel qualifié. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 23.

• Ne branchez l'appareil qu’à une prise de courant avec contacts de protection installée en toute conformité.

• Evitez l’utilisation de rallonges. Elle est autorisée dans certaines conditions uniquement : – la rallonge doit convenir à l’ampérage

de l'appareil ;

– la rallonge ne doit pas être posée «

volante » : elle ne doit ni pouvoir provoquer de chute, ni pouvoir être atteinte par des enfants ;

– la rallonge ne doit en aucun cas être

endommagée ;

– aucun autre appareil que celui-ci ne

doit être raccordé à la prise femelle secteur, une surcharge du secteur pouvant sinon survenir (multiprises interdites !).

• Ne saisissez jamais l’appareil, le câble d’alimentation ou la prise mâle secteur, les mains humides.

• Pour débrancher le cordon d’alimentation, tirez toujours la fiche au niveau de la prise. Ne tirez jamais sur le câble lui-même.

• Ne portez jamais l’appareil par le câble d’alimentation.

• Veillez à ne jamais couder ou écraser le câble d’alimentation.

• Pendant l'utilisation, déroulez entièrement le câble d’alimentation afin d'éviter la surchauffe ou la fonte du caoutchouc.

• Maintenez le câble d’alimentation éloigné des surfaces à haute température (comme une table de cuisson par ex.).

• Positionnez toujours le régulateur de température 3 sur « 0 » avant de débrancher la fiche de la prise secteur de sorte que l’appareil soit à l’arrêt et qu’aucun courant élevé ne circule.

• Si vous n’utilisez pas l'appareil, retirez la fiche de la prise secteur. Ce n’est qu’alors que l’appareil sera totalement hors tension.

• En cas d’orage, l’appareil raccordé au secteur peut être endommagé par la foudre.

4.5 Protection contre les échaudures et

les brûlures

• N'utilisez jamais l'appareil sans la plaque grill 1. Sinon, les résistances brûlantes sont à découvert et peuvent provoquer de graves blessures en cas de contact.

• Si les matières grasses s’enflamment sur l’appareil, n’utilisez en aucun cas

de l’eau pour éteindre les flammes ! Une détonation explosive

ou un choc électrique pourrait s’ensuivre. Au lieu de cela, recouvrez l’appareil, par ex. avec une couverture d’extinction.

• N’utilisez jamais l’appareil à proximité de rideaux et d’autres matières inflammables. Si la pièce à griller s’enflamme, les flammes pourraient ainsi aisément se propager à d’autres objets.

4.6 Pour la sécurité de votre enfant

Avertissement ! Les enfants ne sont fréquemment pas à même d’évaluer correctement les dangers, risquant ainsi de se blesser. Prenez note par conséquent :

• Veillez à ce que le film d’emballage ne devienne pas un piège mortel pour des enfants. Les films d’emballage ne sont pas des jouets.

Avertissement ! Surfaces chaudes et matières grasses à haute température peuvent entraîner des blessures. Prenez note par conséquent :

• Ne déplacez pas l’appareil durant l’utilisation.

• Employez des gants de cuisine pour faire cuire des aliments à haute température. Sinon, les éclaboussures de matières grasses pourraient occasionner des brûlures.

5. Avant la première utilisation

Lors de la production, de nombreuses pièces sont enduites d’une fine couche d’huile en vue de leur protection. Avant premier emploi, utilisez l’appareil sans aliment, de sorte que les résidus éventuels puissent s’évaporer. Remarque : Une légère odeur peut se dégager lors des premières montées en température. Veillez par conséquent à une aération suffisante.

1. Retirez l’appareil et tous les accessoires de leur emballage.

2. Vérifiez que l’appareil n’est pas endommagé.

3. Retirez les éventuelles étiquettes adhésives, mais pas la plaque signalétique sur la face inférieure de l’appareil.

4. Nettoyez l’appareil avant première utilisation. Observez pour ce faire les instructions du chapitre « 6. Utilisation » à la page 19.

5. Choisissez un support solide, plan et non inflammable. Observez une distance de 50 cm environ avec les autres objets.

6. Positionnez le régulateur de température 3 sur « 0 ».

Le système de chauffage est ainsi à l’arrêt.

7. Branchez la prise électrique de l’appareil sur une prise secteur appropriée, correspondant aux données techniques.

Le voyant de contrôle rouge 2 s’allume.

8. Tournez le régulateur de température 3 sur la position MAX.

Le voyant de température 4 s’allume et l’appareil chauffe.

Dès que la température de service est atteinte, le voyant de température 4 s’éteint.

Pendant le fonctionnement, le voyant de température 4, et par conséquent le système de chauffage, s’allument et s’éteignent régulièrement. La température est ainsi maintenue quasi constante.

9. Laissez l’appareil sous tension environ 10 – 15 minutes.

10.Mettez le système de chauffage à nouveau à l’arrêt en positionnant le régulateur de température 3 sur « 0 ».

11.Débranchez la fiche secteur et laissez refroidir l’appareil.

12.Nettoyez à nouveau l’appareil. Observez pour ce faire les instructions du chapitre « 6. Utilisation » à la page 19.

6. Utilisation

6.1 Préparation de l'appareil, marche/arrêt

1. Choisissez un support solide, plan et non

inflammable. Observez une distance de 50 cm environ avec les autres objets.

2. Positionnez le régulateur de

température 3 sur « 0 ». Le système de chauffage est ainsi à

l’arrêt.

3. Huilez légèrement l'intérieur des poêlons

à raclette 8. Huilez légèrement la surface de la plaque grill 1.

Remarque : Utilisez pour cela un papier absorbant, que vous aurez imprégné d'huile de cuisine.

4. Branchez la prise électrique de

l’appareil sur une prise secteur appropriée, correspondant aux données techniques.

Le voyant de contrôle rouge 2 s’allume.

5. Tournez le régulateur de température 3

sur la position MAX. Le voyant de température 4 s’allume et

l’appareil chauffe.

6. Laissez l’appareil chauffer une dizaine

de minutes.

L’appareil est à présent opérationnel.

7. Pour arrêter le système de chauffage,

tourner le régulateur de température 3 dans le sens anti-horaire sur « 0 ».

8. Après utilisation, débranchez la fiche

secteur de la prise électrique. Ce n''est qu'alors que l'appareil est entièrement hors tension.

6.2 Réglage de la température

La température optimale dépend avant tout des aliments utilisés.

Remarques : – Pendant le fonctionnement, le voyant

de température 4, et par conséquent le système de chauffage, s’allument et s’éteignent régulièrement. La température est ainsi maintenue quasi constante.

– À température élevée, le système de

chauffage passe en fonctionnement continu et le voyant de température 4 est constamment allumé.

1. Si la température est trop élevée, tournez un peu le régulateur de température 3 en direction de « 0 ».

2. Si la température est trop basse, tournez le régulateur de température 3 un peu vers MAX.

6.3 Préparation de la raclette

1. Remplir le poêlon à raclette 8 avec les aliments souhaités.

Attention ! Ne remplissez pas trop les poêlons à raclette 8, sinon les aliments vont se trouver trop près de la résistance et peuvent brûler.

2. Placez le poêlon à raclette 8 dans l'appareil dans le creux prévu.

3. Retirez le poêlon à raclette 8 de l'appareil dès que les aliments sont cuits 5.

4. Poussez le contenu du poêlon à raclette 8 à l'aide d'une spatule en bois 9 dans une assiette et régalez-vous.

Remarque : Comme le poêlon à raclette 8 est muni d'un revêtement antiadhérent, il n'est pas nécessaire de l'huiler à nouveau pour les cuissons suivantes.

7. Nettoyage et rangement de l’appareil

Avertissement ! Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique ou de dommage : –Avant chaque nettoyage,

débranchez la fiche de la prise secteur.

– Ne plongez jamais l'appareil dans

de l'eau et protégez-le des projections et des écoulements d'eau.

– Avant le nettoyage, laissez

refroidir l’appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus aucun risque de brûlure.

Attention ! N'utilisez en aucun cas des produits de nettoyage récurants, corrosifs ou abrasifs. Cela pourrait endommager le revêtement anti-adhérent de la plaque grill 1 ou des poêlons à raclette 8.

Remarque : N'attendez pas trop longtemps après le refroidissement et avant le nettoyage, sinon les résidus alimentaires vont sécher et seront encore plus difficiles à retirer.

6.4 Faire griller avec la plaque grill

La plaque grill 1 est idéale pour faire griller viandes, petites saucisses, fruits et légumes.

7.2 Nettoyage de la plaque grill et des accessoires

1. Nettoyez la plaque grill 1, les poêlons à

raclette 8 et les spatules en bois 9 à la main dans de l'eau de vaisselle chaude.

2. En cas de résidus secs et collants, laissez

tremper les pièces environ 20 – 30 min dans l'eau chaude. Vous pouvez également mettre un peu de produit vaisselle dans l'eau.

3. Après le nettoyage, séchez toutes les

pièces très soigneusement.

7.3 Rangement de l’appareil

Avant de ranger l’appareil:

1. Enroulez le câble de raccordement au

réseau autour du logement prévu pour rouler le câble 10;

2. Branchez la fiche secteur dans le

logement pour la prise 11.

7.1 Nettoyage de la base

Il grill per raclette SilverCrest SRG1200B2 è stato realizzato per cuocere e grigliare gli alimeni.

Utilizzare il grill per raclette esclusivamente nella propria abitazione e mai all’aperto. L’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato per scongelare, riscaldare o asciugare oggetti. Questo apparecchio è destinato all’uso in abitazioni private e non può essere utilizzato per applicazioni commerciali. L'apparecchio è anche adatto per:

• Il presente apparecchio può essere utilizzato da

bambini a partire dall'età di 8 anni e da persone che presentino limitazioni delle proprie capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o scarsa esperienza e/ o scarsa conoscenza, purché siano sorvegliati o abbiano ricevuto istruzioni sull'utilizzo sicuro dell'apparecchio e abbiano compreso i pericoli che ne derivano. I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio.

• La pulizia e la manutenzione eseguibile dall'utente

non devono essere effettuate da bambini, tranne

• L'apparecchio e il cavo di collegamento alla rete devono essere tenuti fuori dalla portata dei bambini di età inferiore a 8 anni.

• Le superfici metalliche dell’apparecchio possono diventare roventi. Afferrare quindi l’apparecchio esclusivamente in corrispondenza delle maniglie

• Estrarre la spina dalla presa prima di ogni operazione di pulizia.

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua e proteggerlo da eventuali gocce o spruzzi.

• Prima di pulirlo, lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio finché non sussiste più alcun pericolo di ustioni.

• Per questo apparecchio non devono essere utilizzati carbone vegetale o combustibili simili.

• Pericolo per i volatili! I volatili respirano più velocemente, distribuiscono l'aria all'interno del loro corpo diversamente dalle persone e sono molto più piccoli. Per questo motivo può essere molto pericoloso per i volatili inalare quantità anche minime dei fumi che si sprigionano durante l'utilizzo di questo prodotto con rivestimento antiaderente. Durante l'utilizzo del prodotto trasferire i volatili in un'altra stanza.

Attenzione! Per evitare danni alle cose, attenersi alle seguenti disposizioni.

• Non utilizzare in nessun caso detergenti in crema corrosivi o abrasivi. Questi potrebbero danneggiare sia l'apparecchio che il rivestimento antiaderente.

• L’apparecchio non deve essere azionato con un timer esterno o con un sistema di telecontrollo separato, come ad esempio una presa telecomandata.

4.3 Indicazioni generali

• Prima dell’utilizzo leggere accuratamente le presenti istruzioni per l’uso. Sono parte integrante dell’apparecchio e devono essere disponibili in qualsiasi momento.

• Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo per l’impiego previsto (vedi "1.1 Impiego previsto" a pagina 24).

• Per evitare di danneggiare l’apparecchio, verificare che la tensione di rete disponibile corrisponda alla tensione di rete necessaria (vedere targhetta sull’apparecchio).

• Si ricorda che qualsiasi diritto di garanzia decade automaticamente qualora si utilizzino accessori non consigliati nelle presenti istruzioni per l’uso oppure qualora vengano effettuate riparazioni con pezzi di ricambio non originali. Ciò vale anche in caso di riparazione ad opera di personale non qualificato. Per i dati di contatto si rimanda al "9. Garanzia di HOYER Handel GmbH" a pagina 31.

• In caso di eventuali anomalie di funzionamento entro il periodo della garanzia, la riparazione dell’apparecchio può essere eseguita soltanto dal nostro centro d’assistenza. • Durante il funzionamento non lasciare mai l’apparecchio incustodito, in modo tale da poter intervenire tempestivamente in caso di anomalie di funzionamento.

• Assicurarsi che non sussista mai il pericolo di ferirsi inciampando nel cavo di rete oppure impigliandovisi o calpestandolo.

• L’apparecchio deve essere posizionato esclusivamente su una base stabile, piana, asciutta e non infiammabile per evitarne il rovesciamento o lo scivolamento ed impedire che la base prenda fuoco provocando danni.

• Tenere una distanza di almeno 50 cm da altri oggetti per evitare che questi prendano fuoco.

• Non posizionare l’apparecchio su piastre di cottura calde, nel forno caldo o in prossimità di resistenze riscaldanti che potrebbero causare danni.

• Utilizzare esclusivamente utensili da cucina in legno o in plastica termoresistente. Utensili di metallo potrebbero danneggiare la superficie rivestita della piastra grill 1 o dei tegamini per raclette 8.

• Non lasciare tegamini per raclette vuoti 8 nell’apparecchio quando questo si sta riscaldando o è in funzione. In caso di surriscaldamento si potrebbe danneggiare il rivestimento antiaderente.

• Non appoggiare oggetti sull'apparecchio.

4.4 Protezione dalle folgorazioni

Avvertenza! Le seguenti istruzioni di sicurezza servono per proteggere l’utente da folgorazioni elettriche.

• Mai utilizzare l’apparecchio se danneggiato. In tal caso la riparazione dell’apparecchio deve essere eseguita da personale specializzato. Per i dati di contatto si rimanda al "9. Garanzia di HOYER Handel GmbH" a pagina 31.

• Se il cavo di rete di questo apparecchio è danneggiato, deve essere sostituito dal produttore o da una persona

ugualmente qualificata, per evitare pericoli.

• Evitare che acqua o altri liquidi penetrino nell’apparecchio. Quindi: – non utilizzare all’aperto – non immergere in liquidi – non appoggiare sull’apparecchio

oggetti contenenti liquidi, ad es. pentole

– non utilizzare in ambiente molto

umido.

In caso di contatto dell’apparecchio con liquidi, rimuovere immediatamente la spina di rete e far riparare il dispositivo da personale qualificato. Per i dati di contatto si rimanda al "9. Garanzia di HOYER Handel GmbH" a pagina 31.

• Collegare l’apparecchio esclusivamente ad una presa con contatto a terra (schuko).

• L’utilizzo di cavi di prolunga dovrebbe essere evitato. È consentito solo in presenza di presupposti ben determinati: – il cavo di prolunga deve essere adatto

all’intensità di corrente dell’apparecchio

– il cavo di prolunga non deve essere

posato “in aria”: non deve sussistere il pericolo di inciamparvi e non deve essere alla portata dei bambini

– il cavo di prolunga non deve

assolutamente essere danneggiato

– non collegare alla presa di corente

altri apparecchi oltre a questo, in quanto può verificarsi un sovraccarico elettrico (prese multiple vietate!).

• Non toccare mai l’apparecchio, il cavo di rete o la spina di rete con mani umide.

• Estrarre sempre il cavo di rete in corrispondenza della spina. Non estrarlo mai afferrando il cavo stesso.

• Non spostare l’apparecchio tirandolo per il cavo di rete.

• Fare attenzione a non piegare o schiacciare mai il cavo di rete.

• Svolgere completamente il cavo di rete mentre l’apparecchio è in funzione per evitare che si surriscaldi e si fonda.

• Tenere il cavo di rete lontano da superfici calde (ad es. piastre di cottura).

• Prima di estrarre la spina di rete dalla presa, ruotare sempre il termostato 3 su “0” per disattivare l’apparecchio ed escludere il flusso di alta corrente.

• Se l’unità non viene utilizzata per lungo tempo, estrarre la spina dalla presa. Soltanto in questo modo l’apparecchio è completamente privo di alimentazione.

• In caso di temporali, gli apparecchi collegati alla rete di alimentazione possono venire danneggiati dai fulmini.

4.5 Protezione da scottature e ustioni

Avvertenza! Superfici roventi e grasso bollente possono provocare lesioni. Per questo motivo osservare quanto segue:

• Durante il funzionamento non spostare l’apparecchio.

• Per preparazioni di cibi che richiedono temperature elevate, utilizzare il guanto

da cucina. Eventuali schizzi di grasso potrebbero provocare ustioni.

• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio senza la piastra grill 1. Gli elementi riscaldanti roventi risulterebbero scoperti, provocando gravi ustioni in caso di contatto.

• Qualora il grasso sull’apparecchio prenda fuoco, non utilizzare in

alcun caso l'acqua per spegnerlo! Sussiste il pericolo di

combustione esplosiva o di folgorazione elettrica. Coprire invece l’apparecchio ad es. con una coperta antincendio.

• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio in prossimità di tende e altri materiali infiammabili. Qualora il cibo da grigliare prenda fuoco, le fiamme potrebbero facilmente trasmettersi ad altri oggetti.

4.6 Per la sicurezza dei bambini

Avvertenza! Spesso i bambini non sono in grado di valutare bene i pericoli e possono così provocarsi lesioni. Per questo motivo osservare quanto segue:

• Fare attenzione che la pellicola da imballaggio non costituisca pericolo di morte per i bambini. Le pellicole da imballaggio non sono giocattoli.

5. Prima del primo utilizzo

In fase di produzione numerosi componenti vengono protetti con una sottile pellicola oleosa. Prima del primo utilizzo far funzionare l’apparecchio senza alimenti, in modo tale da far evaporare eventuali residui di tale pellicola.

Nota: Durante le prime fasi di

riscaldamento l’apparecchio può emettere un leggero odore. Provvedere pertanto ad una sufficiente aerazione.

1. Estrarre l’apparecchio e tutti gli accessori dall’imballaggio.

2. Verificare che l’apparecchio non presenti danni.

3. Rimuovere eventuali etichette adesive, tuttavia non rimuovere la targhetta applicata sul lato inferiore.

4. Prima del primo utilizzo pulire l’apparecchio. A tale riguardo osservare le indicazioni riportate nel capitolo "7. Pulizia e conservazione dell’apparecchio" a pagina 30.

5. Scegliere un punto d’installazione stabile, piano e ignifugo. Tenere una distanza di ca. 50 cm da altri oggetti.

6. Ruotare il termostato 3 su “0”. Con il termostato in questa posizione, il

riscaldamento è spento.

6. Funzionamento

6.1 Preparazione dell’apparecchio,

accensione e spegniment

1. Scegliere un punto d’installazione stabile, piano e ignifugo. Tenere una distanza di ca. 50 cm da altri oggetti.

2. Ruotare il termostato 3 su “0”. Con il termostato in questa posizione, il

riscaldamento è spento.

3. Ungere leggermente l’interno dei tegamini 8. Ungere leggermente la piastra grill 1.

Nota: Per farlo, utilizzare uno strofinaccio bagnato con qualche goccia di olio da cucina.

4. Inserire la spina di rete in una presa idonea che corrisponda ai dati tecnici.

La spia di controllo rossa 2 si illumina.

8. Ruotare il termostato 3 su MAX. La spia della temperatura 4 si illumina

ed inizia il processo di riscaldamento dell’apparecchio.

9. Lasciare inserito l’apparecchio per circa 10 – 15 minuti.

10.Spegnere nuovamente il riscaldamento ruotando il termostato 3 su “0”.

11. Estrarre la spina di rete e lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio.

12.Pulire nuovamente l’apparecchio. A tale riguardo osservare le indicazioni riportate nel capitolo "7. Pulizia e conservazione dell’apparecchio" a pagina 30.

5. Ruotare il termostato 3 su MAX. La spia della temperatura 4 si illumina

ed inizia il processo di riscaldamento dell’apparecchio.

6. Lasciare preriscaldare l’apparecchio per circa 10–15 minuti.

L’apparecchio è ora pronto per il funzionamento.

7. Per spegnere il riscaldamento, ruotare il termostato 3 in senso antiorario su “0”.

8. Dopo l’utilizzo, estrarre la spina di rete dalla presa. Soltanto in questo modo l’apparecchio è completamente privo di alimentazione.

6.2 Regolazione della temperatura

La temperatura ottimale dipende soprattutto dai cibi utilizzati.

Notas: – Durante il funzionamento la spia della

temperatura 4, e quindi il riscaldamento, si accende e si spegne ripetutamente. In questo modo la temperatura viene mantenuta pressoché costante.

– Nell'intervallo di temperatura più alto,

il riscaldamento passa al funzionamento continuo e la spia della temperatura 4 è accesa con luce fissa.

1. Se la temperatura è troppo elevata, ruotare il termostato 3 verso “0”.

2. Se la temperatura è troppo bassa e si impiega troppo tempo per la cottura, ruotare ancora il termostato 3 verso MAX.

6.3 Preparazione della raclette

1. Riempire i tegamini per raclette 8 con gli alimenti desiderati.

Attenzione! Non riempire troppo il tegamino per raclette 8 perché altrimenti i cibi potrebbero avvicinarsi troppo al grill e quindi bruciarsi.

2. Posizionare il tegamino per raclette 8 nelle apposite cavità 5 dell’apparecchio.

3. Togliere dall’apparecchio il tegamino per raclette 8 non appena i cibi sono cotti.

4. Far scivolare il contenuto del tegamino per raclette 8 su un piatto aiutandosi con una spatola in legno 9 e … buon appetito!

Nota: Dal momento che il tegamino per raclette 8 è dotato di un rivestimento antiaderente, non è necessario ungerlo ogni volta prima di una nuova porzione.

6.4 Grigliatura con la piastra grill

La piastra grill 1 serve soprattutto per grigliare carne, salsicce, frutta e verdura.

7. Pulizia e conservazione dell’apparecchio

Avvertenza! Per evitare il pericolo di folgorazioni o di danni: – Estrarre la spina dalla presa

prima di ogni operazione di pulizia.

– Non immergere mai

l’apparecchio in acqua e proteggerlo da eventuali gocce o spruzzi.

– Prima di pulirlo, lasciare

raffreddare l’apparecchio finché non sussiste più alcun pericolo di ustioni.

Attenzione! Non utilizzare in nessun caso detergenti in crema corrosivi o abrasivi. Si potrebbero infatti danneggiare l’apparecchio e la superficie antiaderente della piastra grill 1 e dei tegamini per raclette 8. 7.1 Pulizia della base dell’apparecchio

1. Pulire la base 6 dell’apparecchio con un panno umido, eventualmente con l’aggiunta di detergente.

2. Lavare con acqua pulita.

3. Riutilizzare l’apparecchio soltanto quando è completamente asciutto.

7.2 Pulizia della piastra grill e degli

accessori

1. Pulire a mano la piastra grill 1, i tegamini per raclette 8 e la spatola in legno 9 con acqua calda.

8. Smaltimento

8.1 Apparecchio

1. Appliance description

1.1 Intended purpose

The raclette grill SilverCrest SRG1200B2 is suitable for grilling and cooking food.

Only use the raclette grill indoors, never use outside. The appliance must not be used for thawing, warming or drying items. This appliance is intended for use in private households and is not suitable for commercial purposes. The appliance is likewise suitable for:

• use in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other commercial areas,

• use in agricultural settings,

• customers in hotels, motels and other accommodation,

• The metallic surfaces of the appliance can get hot. Only hold the appliance by the handles

• Never immerse the appliance in water, and protect it from splashes and water droplets.

• Before cleaning, allow the appliance to cool down to avoid the risk of burns.

• It is not permissible to use charcoal or similar fuels with this appliance.

• Risk to birds! Birds breathe faster, distribute air differently in their bodies and are far smaller than humans. For this reason it can be very hazardous for them to take in even the tiny amounts of smoke produced by this appliance with its non-stick coating. Whenever you use the appliance, please take all birds to another room.

Caution! To avoid material damage, please observe the following conditions.

• Never use abrasive, corrosive or caustic cleaning materials. These could damage the appliance as well as the non-stick coating.

• The appliance must not be operated with an external time switch or separate remote control system, such as a wireless remote control socket.

4.3 General information

• Please read these user instructions

carefully before use. They are a constituent part of the appliance and must be kept to hand at all times.

• Use the appliance only for the purpose

described (see “1.1 Intended purpose” on page 34).

• To prevent damage, check that the

mains voltage required (see type plate on the appliance) is compatible with your mains voltage.

• Please note that any claim under the warranty or for liability will be invalid if accessories are used that are not recommended in these user instructions, or if original spare parts are not used for repairs. This also applies to repairs undertaken by unqualified persons. The contact data can be found in “Service Centre” on page 42.

• If the appliance should develop a fault during the warranty period, it may only be repaired by our Service Centre. Otherwise all claims under warranty are null and void. The contact data can be found in “Service Centre” on page 42.

• To ensure you can intervene promptly if a fault occurs, never leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.

• Ensure that it is not possible for anyone to trip over or to get caught up in or step on the mains cable and injure themselves.

• The appliance may only be used on a firm, level, dry and non-flammable surface. This will prevent it from tipping over, sliding or setting fire to the surface and causing damage.

• Maintain a distance of at least 50 cm from other objects to prevent them from catching fire.

• The appliance must not be placed on hot stoves, put in a hot oven or set up in the vicinity of gas heaters and ondemand water heaters, as this could cause damage.

• Only use implements made from wood or heat-resistant plastic. Metal implements may damage the coated surface of the grill plate 1 and the raclette pans 8.

• Do not leave empty raclette pans 8 on the plates while the appliance is heating up or during use. Overheating may result in damage to the non-stick coating.

• Do not place any items on the appliance.

4.4 Protection against electric shock

Warning! The following safety information is intended to protect you against electric shock.

• The appliance must not under any circumstances be used if it is damaged. Have the appliance repaired in such cases by a qualified specialist. The contact data can be found in “Service Centre” on page 42.

• If the mains cable for this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a person with similar qualifications in order to avoid a hazard.

• Water or other liquids must never be allowed to enter the appliance. For this reason: – never use it outdoors – never immerse it in liquids – never place liquid-filled objects, e.g.

pans, on the appliance

– never use in very humid environments. If liquid should enter the appliance,

unplug the mains plug immediately and have the appliance repaired by a qualified technician. The contact data can be found in “Service Centre” on page 42.

• The appliance must be connected up to a mains socket with earthing contact.

• Avoid using extension cables. An extension cable may only be used under very specific conditions: – the extension cable must be suitable

for the current rating of the appliance;

– the extension cable must be routed

across surfaces or the floor (not allowed to hang in mid air); ensure the cable is out of the reach of

children and does not pose a tripping

hazard; – never use a damaged extension cable; – do not connect any other appliances

to the mains socket as this could

overload the mains supply (do not use

multi-sockets).

• Do not touch the grill, the mains cable or the mains plug with wet hands.

• Always unplug the mains cable by pulling out the plug. Never pull on the cable to remove the plug.

• Never carry the appliance by the mains cable.

• Ensure that the mains cable is not kinked, twisted or crushed.

• Fully unwind the mains cable during use to avoid overheating and scorching.

• Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces, such as cooker hotplates.

• Always turn the temperature regulator 3 to "0" before pulling the plug out of the wall socket so that the appliance is switched off and no heavy current is flowing.

• If you are not going to use the appliance for a while, remove the plug from the wall socket. This is the only way to ensure that the machine is completely free of current.

• If the appliance is connected to the mains it may be damaged by lightning during thunderstorms.

4.5 Protection against scalds and burns

Warning! Hot surfaces and boiling fat can cause injuries. Please note therefore:

• Do not move the appliance while in use.

• Use oven gloves when cooking food at high temperature. Otherwise, splashed fat could cause burns.

• Do not use the appliance without the grill plate 1. Otherwise, the heating elements will be exposed posing a risk of severe burns if touched.

• If fat on the appliance catches fire do

not use water to extinguish the fire! There is a risk of explosion or

electric shock. Instead, use a fire blanket or other appropriate method.

• Never use the appliance near curtains and other flammable materials. If the

During manufacture, many parts are given a thin film of protective oil. Before using the appliance for the first time, heat it up without any food so that any residues can evaporate.

Note: When heating up for the first few times a slight smell may be produced. Make sure the room is adequately ventilated.

1. Take the appliance and all the accessory parts out of the packaging.

2. Check that the appliance shows no signs of damage.

3. Remove any labels or stickers (but not the type plate on the underside).

4. Clean the appliance before using it for the first time. Observe the information in the section entitled “6. Operation” on page 39.

5. Select a location that is firm, level and not flammable. Maintain a distance of approx. 50 cm from other objects.

6. Turn the temperature regulator 3 to "0". This switches the heater off.

7. Insert the mains plug into a suitable wall socket which complies with the technical data.

The red indicator light 2 comes on.

4.6 For the safety of your child

Warning! Children are often unaware of danger and are injured as a result. Please note therefore:

• Ensure that the packing foil does not become a deadly trap for a child. Packing foils are not toys.

8. Turn the temperature regulator 3 to MAX.

The temperature indicator light 4 lights up, and the appliance starts to heat up.

9. Leave the appliance switched on for around 10 - 15 minutes.

10.Switch the heater off by turning the temperature regulator 3 to "0".

11.Take out the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool down.

12.Clean the appliance again. Observe the information in the section entitled “6. Operation” on page 39.

6. Operation

6.1 Preparing the appliance, switching on and off

1. Select a location that is firm, level and

not flammable. Maintain a distance of approx. 50 cm from other objects.

2. Turn the temperature regulator 3 to "0".

This switches the heater off.

3. Grease the raclette pans lightly 8 on the

inside. Lightly grease the top surface of the grill plate 1.

Note: Use kitchen paper dipped in a little cooking oil.

4. Plug the mains plug into a suitable mains

socket that corresponds to the technical data.

The red indicator light 2 comes on.

5. Turn the temperature regulator 3

clockwise to MAX. The temperature indicator light 4 lights

up, and the appliance starts to heat up.

6. Allow the appliance heat up for around

10 minutes.

The appliance is now ready to use.

7. To turn the heater off, turn the

temperature regulator 3 one notch anticlockwise towards "0".

8. Remove the plug from the mains socket

after use. This is the only way to ensure that the machine is completely free of current.

6.2 Regulating temperature

The best cooking temperature depends chiefly on the type of food being cooked.

Notes:

– During operation, the temperature

indicator light 4 (and thus the heater) will continually switch on and off. This serves to maintain as constant a temperature as possible.

– In the higher temperature range, the

heater will switch to continuously on, with temperature indicator light 4 also remaining permanently on.

1. If the temperature is too high, turn the temperature regulator 3 one notch towards "0".

2. If the temperature is too low and it is taking too long to cook, turn the temperature regulator 3 one notch towards MAX.

6.3 Preparing the raclette

1. Fill the raclette pans 8 with your chosen ingredients.

Caution! Do not overfill the pans 8, otherwise the ingredients could be too thick and could burn.

2. Put the raclette pans 8 on the grill in the recesses 5.

3. Remove the raclette pans 8 from the appliance as soon as the ingredients are cooked.

4. Slide the contents of the raclette pan 8 onto a plate using the wooden spatula 9 and enjoy.

Note:As the raclette pans 8 have an anti-stick coating, they do not require oiling before each use.

6.4 Grilling with the grill pan

The grill plate 1 is for grilling meat, sausages, fruit and vegetables.

7. Cleaning and storage

Warning! To avoid the danger of an electric shock or damage: – Remove the plug from the mains

socket before starting to clean the appliance.

– Never immerse the appliance in

water, and protect it from splashes and water droplets.

– Before cleaning, allow the

appliance to cool down to avoid the risk of burns.

Caution! Never use abrasive, corrosive or caustic cleaning materials. This may damage the appliance and the coated surface of the grill plate 1 and raclette pans 8. Note: Don’t wait too long to wash after cooling so that the food remains don’t dry on and become difficult to remove.

7.1 Cleaning the base section

1. Clean the base section 6 with a damp cloth. A little washing-up liquid may also be used.

2. Wipe off with fresh water.

3. Do not use the machine again until it is fully dry.

7.2 Cleaning the grill plate and

accessories

1. Clean the grill plate 1, raclette pans 8 and wooden spatula 9 in warm water by hand.

2. If heavily soiled, leave parts to soak in warm water for about 20 – 30 minutes. You could add a few drops of mild washing-up liquid.

3. Carefully dry all parts after cleaning.

7.3 Storing the appliance

To put the appliance away:

1. Wind the mains cable around the cable store 10.

2. Insert the mains plug in the plug recess 11.

Dear Customer, You have a warranty on this product which is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. In the event of this product being

defective, you have statutory rights against the seller of the product. These statutory rights are not limited by our warranty as set out below.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period begins with the date of purchase. Please keep the original till receipt in a safe place. This is required as your proof of purchase. If a defect in materials or workmanship occurs within three years of the date your product was purchased, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion at no charge to you. This service under warranty assumes that the defective product and the proof of purchase (till receipt) are submitted within the three-year period and that a brief description in writing is provided of what the defect is and when it occurred. If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired product or a new one will be sent back to you. There is no new warranty period following repair or replacement of the product.

8.2 Packaging

If you wish to discard the packaging, please observe the applicable environmental regulations in your country.
