nungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für
Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des
Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das
Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

Der Haarglätter dient zum Glätten von menschlichen Haaren, keinesfalls für
Perücken und Haarteile aus synthetischem Material. Sie dürfen das Gerät
ausschließlich für private Zwecke verwenden. Beachten Sie alle Informationen in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Dieses Gerät
ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte
Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 110 - 240 V ~,
50/60 Hz an.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät
reinigen, den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass
oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt
oder beschädigt werden kann.
► Sollte das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
beschädigt sein, lassen Sie diese durch den Kundendienst
ersetzen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.
► Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im Notfall
der Netzstecker schnell zu erreichen ist.
► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen
Händen an.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen
Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.
► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät und schützen
Sie es vor Beschädigungen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls
in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das
Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner
Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls
doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose
und lassen Sie es von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom
Stromnetz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von Wasser,
insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken, Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe von Wasser
stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
Ziehen Sie daher nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker.
Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird Ihnen die Installation einer
Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im Badezimmer-Stromkreis
empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur um Rat.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen
und schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Beschädigungen.
► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen
Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenenfalls
reparieren.
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und
die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.
► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht selbst öffnen oder repa-
rieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und
die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie das defekte Gerät
nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Das Gerät erhitzt sich während des Betriebs.
Fassen Sie es im heißen Zustand nur am Griff an.

Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

▯ Bedienungsanleitung
1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus der
Verpackung.
2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.
HINWEIS
► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter
Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel „Service“).
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS
► Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garan-
tiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß
verpacken zu können.

Vor dem Glätten
■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-
nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Glätten des Haares unterstützen.
■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Glätten gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten
im Haar befinden.
Bedienung
Ein-/Ausschalten
HINWEIS
► Das Gerät heizt nur, wenn die Heizplatten herausgezogen sind. Die
Indikationsleuchte leuchtet jedoch trotz eingeschobener Heizplatten ,
wenn der EIN-/AUS-Schalter auf „I“ steht.
► Die Heizplatten müssen frei von Verschmutzungen sein. Reinigen Sie
diese vor Benutzung gegebenenfalls (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung“).
Das Gerät ist durch die Verriegelung gesichert.
Drücken Sie die Heizplatten zusammen und ziehen Sie die Verriegelung
heraus.
Der Haarglätter lässt sich nun öffnen.
1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
2) Ziehen Sie die beiden Heizplatten komplett heraus.
3) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter in die Position „I“ (Ein). Die Indikati-
onsleuchte beginnt zu leuchten. Das Gerät heizt auf.
Nach ca. 3 Minuten ist der Haarglätter aufgeheizt.
4) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter in die Position „0“ (Aus), wenn Sie
mit dem Styling der Haare fertig sind.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
5) Ziehen Sie die beiden Arretiertasten in Pfeilrichtung zurück, um die beiden Heizplatten wieder gleichmäßig hereinzuschieben.

Haare glätten
1) Bereiten Sie das Haar, wie unter „Vor dem Glätten“ beschrieben, vor. Die
Heizplatten sind herausgezogen und aufgeheizt.
2) Fangen Sie mit den unteren Haarpartien am Hinterkopf an. Arbeiten Sie sich
über die Seiten nach vorne:
Teilen Sie eine ca. 2 cm breite Haarsträhne ab und klemmen Sie das Ende
am Haaransatz straff zwischen Zeige- und Mittelfinger der Hand, mit der Sie
nicht den Haarglätter führen.
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie mit den Heizplatten nicht die Kopfhaut be-
rühren. Verbrennungsgefahr! Sie dürfen während des Betriebes das Gerät
nur am Griff anfassen! Verbrennungsgefahr!
3) Klemmen Sie die Haarsträhne nahe der Kopfhaut zwischen die Heizplatten
und drücken Sie diese zusammen.
4) Ziehen Sie die ganze Haarsträhne durch die Heizplatten , indem Sie den
Haarglätter zügig vom Haaransatz zu den Spitzen nach unten ziehen.
5) Verfahren Sie so mit jeder einzelnen Strähne.
6) Wenn Sie alle Strähnen geglättet haben, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose.
7) Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
8) Ziehen Sie die beiden Arretiertasten in Pfeilrichtung zurück, um die beiden Heizplatten gleichmäßig hereinzuschieben.
Drücken Sie die Heizplatten zusammen und schieben Sie die Verriegelung
wieder rein.

Reinigung
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät bei der Reinigung keinesfalls in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten tauchen!
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung ausreichend abkühlen.
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel oder Lösemittel. Diese
könnten die Oberfläche beschädigen.
1) Wischen Sie das Gehäuse und die Heizplatten mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
2) Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel
auf das Tuch. Entfernen Sie Reinigungsmittelrückstände mit einem mit Wasser
befeuchteten Tuch.
3) Lassen Sie das Gerät gut trocknen, bevor Sie es wieder verwenden.
Aufbewahren
■ Legen Sie das Gerät zum Auskühlen immer auf eine hitzeunempfindliche
Oberfläche.
■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse aufhängen.

Wenn Sie das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht benutzen:
■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trocknen und sauberen Ort auf.

Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.

Sie sich im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung. Nur so
kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.

Das Produkt ist lediglich für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen
Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung,

Consignes de sécurité
RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
► L'appareil ne doit être branché que dans une prise réglemen-
tairement installée et alimentée par une tension secteur de
110 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz.
► En cas de dysfonctionnements et avant de nettoyer l'appareil,
débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise secteur.
► Retirez toujours la fiche secteur de la prise électrique, sans
tirer sur le cordon d'alimentation lui-même.
► Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit pas mouillé
ou humide pendant le fonctionnement. Acheminez-le afin
qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.
► Si l'appareil, le cordon d'alimentation ou la fiche secteur est
endommagé, veuillez le/la faire remplacer par le service
après-vente pour éviter toute mise en danger.
► N'utilisez pas l'appareil à l'extérieur.
► N'utilisez pas de câble prolongateur, afin que la fiche secteur
soit facilement accessible en cas d'urgence.
► Ne saisissez jamais l'appareil, le cordon d'alimentation et la
fiche secteur avec les mains mouillées.
► Évitez de plier ou de coincer le cordon d'alimentation et
posez-le de telle manière que personne ne puisse marcher
ou trébucher dessus.
► N'enroulez pas le cordon d'alimentation autour de l'appareil
et protégez-le contre le risque d'endommagement. Vous ne
devez en aucun cas plonger l'appareil dans l'eau ni laisser
pénétrer du liquide dans le boîtier de l'appareil. Il est interdit
d'exposer l'appareil à l'humidité et de l'utiliser à l'extérieur. Si
toutefois du liquide devait pénétrer dans le boîtier de l'appareil, débranchez immédiatement la fiche de la prise secteur
et confiez l'appareil à un atelier spécialisé pour le réparer.
► Après utilisation, débranchez immédiatement l'appareil du
réseau électrique. L'appareil n'est entièrement hors tension qu'à
partir du moment où la fiche est débranchée de la prise secteur.

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
Ne jamais utiliser l'appareil à proximité de l'eau, en
particulier à proximité d'un lavabo, d'une baignoire ou de
récipients similaires. La proximité de l'eau représente un
danger, même lorsque l'appareil est éteint. Pour cette raison,
débranchez l'appareil après chaque utilisation. À titre de
protection supplémentaire, nous recommandons l'installation d'un relais disjoncteur contre le courant de fuite avec
un seuil de déclenchement inférieur ou égal à 30 mA
dans le circuit électrique de la salle de bains. Demandez
conseil à votre installateur d'équipement électrique.
AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE DE BLESSURES!
► Ne laissez jamais l'appareil en marche sans surveillance.
► Ne laissez jamais l'appareil à proximité de sources de chaleur
et protégez le cordon d'alimentation de tout endommagement.
► Si l'appareil est tombé ou a été endommagé, il ne faut plus
le remettre en marche. Faites contrôler l'appareil par un technicien qualifiée vérifier et, le cas échéant, réparer l'appareil
par des techniciens spécialisés et qualifiés.
► Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants à partir de 8ans
et par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou un manque d'expérience et/ou
de connaissances à condition qu'ils aient reçu une supervision
ou des instructions concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil en
toute sécurité et qu'ils aient compris les dangers en résultant.
► Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l'appareil.
► Les opérations de nettoyage et d'entretien ne doivent pas être
confiées à des enfants, sauf si ces derniers sont surveillés.
► N'ouvrez pas le boîtier de l'appareil car il n'est pas réparable
par l'utilisateur. Dans ce cas, la sécurité n'est plus assurée et
vous perdez le bénéfice de la garantie. Confiez les réparations

Matériel livré
L'appareil est livré équipé de série des composants suivants:

1) Sortez de l'emballage les pièces de l'appareil et le mode d'emploi.
2) Retirez tous les matériaux d'emballage.
3) Nettoyez toutes les pièces de l'appareil comme indiqué au chapitre
«Nettoyage».
REMARQUE
► Vérifiez si la livraison est au complet et ne présente aucun dégât apparent.
► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage
défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser au service après-vente
(cf. chapitre «Service après-vente»).
Élimination de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.
Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de
l'environnement et de recyclage permettant leur élimination écologique.
Le recyclage de l'emballage en filière de revalorisation permet d'économiser des
matières premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux d'emballage qui ne servent plus en respectant la réglementation locale.
REMARQUE
► Dans la mesure du possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la
période sous garantie pour pouvoir emballer et expédier l'appareil en
bonne et due forme si vous étiez amené à faire valoir la garantie.

Avant le lissage
■ Les cheveux doivent être propres, secs et exempts de tout produit de coiffage.
Certains produits spéciaux qui favorisent le lissage des cheveux peuvent être
utilisés.
■ Peignez soigneusement les cheveux avant de les lisser, afin d'éliminer tout
nœud.
Utilisation
Allumer/éteindre
REMARQUE
► L'appareil ne chauffe que lorsque les plaques chauffantes sont sorties.
Le témoin indicateur s'allume, bien que les plaques chauffantes soient
insérées, lorsque le commutateur MARCHE/ARRÊT se trouve sur «I».
► Les plaques chauffantes doivent être exemptes de toute salissure.
Nettoyez-les le cas échéant avant l'utilisation (voir chapitre «Nettoyage»).
L'appareil est sécurisé grâce au verrouillage .
Appuyez sur les plaques chauffantes et sortez le verrouillage .
Vous pouvez maintenant ouvrir le lisseur.
1) Branchez la fiche secteur dans une prise secteur.
2) Sortez entièrement les deux plaques chauffantes .
3) Placez le commutateur MARCHE /ARRÊT sur la position «I» (marche).
Le témoin indicateur s'allume. L'appareil chauffe. Au bout de 3 minutes
environ, le lisseur est chaud.
4) Dès que vous avez terminé le coiffage des cheveux, glissez le commutateur
MARCHE/ARRÊT sur la position «0» (arrêt). Débranchez la fiche secteur
et laissez l'appareil entièrement refroidir.
5) Tirez les deux touches d'arrêt dans la direction de la flèche pour insérer
à nouveau les deux plaques chauffantes de manière uniforme.

Lissage des cheveux
1) Préparez les cheveux comme décrit sous «Avant le lissage». Les plaques
chauffantes sont sorties et chaudes.
2) Commencez par les parties de cheveux situées en bas de la nuque. Travaillez en passant par les côtés vers l'avant: Divisez une mèche de cheveux de
2 cm de large environ en deux et fixez l'extrémité à la racine des cheveux
entre le majeur et l'index de la main qui ne tient pas le lisseur.
AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURES!
► Veillez à ce que les plaques chauffantes ne touchent pas le cuir chevelu.
Risque de brûlure! Vous ne devez toucher que la poignée de l'appareil
pendant l'utilisation! Risque de brûlure!
3) Fixez la mèche de cheveux près du cuir chevelu entre les plaques chauffantes et pressez les plaques.
4) Faites passer la mèche de cheveux entière dans les plaques chauffantes
en glissant rapidement le lisseur de la racine à la pointe des cheveux.
5) Procédez de la même manière avec chaque mèche.
6) Débranchez la fiche secteur de la prise secteur une fois toutes les mèches
lissées.
7) Laissez l'appareil refroidir complètement.
8) Tirez les deux touches d'arrêt dans la direction de la flèche pour insérer
les deux plaques chauffantes de manière régulière.
Appuyez sur les plaques chauffantes et remettez le verrouillage en
place en le faisant glisser.

Nettoyage
RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
► Avant de nettoyer l'appareil, toujours retirer la fiche secteur de la prise de
courant.
► Surtout ne pas plonger l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans d'autres liquides au
moment de le nettoyer!
AVERTISSEMENT-RISQUE DE BLESSURE!
► Laisser l'appareil refroidir suffisamment avant le nettoyage.
ATTENTION-RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS!
► Ne pas utiliser de produits nettoyants agressifs ou de solvants. Ces derniers
peuvent endommager la surface.
1) Essuyez le boîtier et les plaques chauffantes avec un chiffon humide.
2) En cas de salissures tenaces, appliquer un produit de nettoyage doux sur
le chiffon. Éliminez les restes de liquide vaisselle avec un chiffon humidifié
d'eau.
3) Laissez l'appareil refroidir complètement avant de le réutiliser.
Rangement
■ Placez toujours l'appareil sur une surface résistant à la chaleur pour le laisser
refroidir.
■ Vous pouvez suspendre l'appareil au niveau de l'œillet de suspension .

Indicazioni relative alla sicurezza
PERICOLO DI SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
► Collegare l'apparecchio a una presa installata a norma con
tensione di rete di 110 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz.
► In caso di guasti e prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la
spina dalla presa di corrente.
► Scollegare la spina dalla presa tirando sempre dalla spina,
mai dal cavo.
► Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non
sia esposto all'acqua o all'umidità. Condurlo in modo tale
da impedire che si incastri o danneggi.
► In caso di danni all'apparecchio, al cavo di rete, o alla spina
di rete, fare eseguire la sostituzione dal centro di assistenza
clienti, al fine di evitare pericoli.
► Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'aperto.
► Non utilizzare cavi di prolunga, al fine di poter raggiungere
rapidamente la spina di rete in caso di emergenza.
► Non afferrare mai l'apparecchio, il cavo di rete e la spina di
rete con le mani umide.
► Non piegare o schiacciare il cavo di alimentazione e posizio-
narlo in modo che non sia d'intralcio o non ponga inciampo.
► Non avvolgere il cavo di rete attorno all'apparecchio e
proteggerlo da eventuali danneggiamenti. Non immergere
mai l'apparecchio in liquidi e impedire la penetrazione di
liquidi nell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio. Non esporre
l'apparecchio all'umidità e non utilizzarlo all'aperto. In caso
di infiltrazioni di liquidi nell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio,
disinserire subito la spina dalla presa e fare riparare l'apparecchio da personale specializzato qualificato.
► Dopo l'uso, staccare immediatamente l'apparecchio dalla
rete elettrica. L'apparecchio è completamente privo di tensione
solo se scollegato dalla rete elettrica.

PERICOLO DI SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio in prossimità dell'acqua,
soprattutto di lavandini, vasche da bagno o simili. La vicinanza all'acqua rappresenta un pericolo anche con apparecchio
spento. Staccare dunque sempre la spina dopo ogni utilizzo.
Come protezione addizionale, si consiglia l'installazione di
un dispositivo di protezione per correnti di dispersione con
una corrente di apertura di misurazione di non oltre 30 mA
nel circuito della stanza da bagno. Consultare il proprio
elettricista.
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Non lasciare mai incustodito l'apparecchio acceso.
► Non collocare l'apparecchio nelle vicinanze di fonti di calore
e proteggere il cavo di rete da eventuali danneggiamenti.
► Se l'apparecchio avesse subito cadute o danni, non metterlo più
in funzione. L'apparecchio deve essere sottoposto a controllo da
parte di personale specializzato e all'occorrenza riparato.
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini di
almeno 8anni di età e da persone con capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insufficiente esperienza o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli associati.
► I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio.
► La pulizia e la manutenzione a carico dell'utente non devono
essere eseguite dai bambini a meno che essi non vengano
sorvegliati.
► Non è consentito aprire o riparare l'alloggiamento dell'appa-
recchio autonomamente. Aprendolo ci si espone a pericoli e
la garanzia decade. Fare riparare l'apparecchio guasto solo
da personale specializzato autorizzato.
► L'apparecchio si riscalda durante il funzionamento.
Quando è surriscaldato, afferrarlo solo dall'impugnatura.

Volume della fornitura
La fornitura standard dell'apparecchio comprende i seguenti componenti:

1) Rimuovere tutti i componenti dell'apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni dalla
confezione.
2) Rimuovere completamente il materiale di imballaggio.
3) Pulire tutti i componenti dell'apparecchio, così come descritto al capitolo "Pulizia".
NOTA
► Controllare se la fornitura è integra e se presenta danni visibili.
► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o da
imballaggio inadeguato, rivolgersi alla hotline di assistenza (vedi capitolo
"Assistenza").
Smaltimento della confezione
L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio da danni di trasporto. I materiali di
imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle
caratteristiche di smaltimento e pertanto sono riciclabili.
Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di rifiuti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità
alle norme vigenti locali.

► Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia conservare l'imballaggio
originale per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio in caso di

Prima della lisciatura
■ I capelli devono essere puliti, asciutti ed esenti da prodotti cosmetici. Fanno
eccezione i prodotti speciali che aiutano a ottenere la lisciatura dei capelli.
■ Prima di effettuare la lisciatura, pettinare accuratamente i capelli in modo da
eliminare eventuali nodi.

► L'apparecchio si riscalda solo se le piastre riscaldanti sono estratte. La
spia d'indicazione rimane tuttavia accesa anche se le piastre riscaldanti
sono rientrate, se l'interruttore ON/OFF si trova in posizione "I".
► Le piastre riscaldanti devono essere pulite. Prima dell'utilizzo provvedere
dunque a pulirle se sporche (vedi capitolo "Pulizia").
L'apparecchio è assicurato dal blocco .
Comprimere le piastre riscaldanti e sfilare il blocco .
Ora è possibile aprire il ferro lisciacapelli.
1) Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente.
2) Estrarre completamente le due piastre riscaldanti .
3) Portare l'interruttore ON/OFF in posizione "I" (ON). La spia d'indicazio-
ne inizia ad accendersi. L'apparecchio si riscalda. Dopo circa 3 minuti il
ferro lisciacapelli è pronto all'uso.
4) Dopo aver terminato l'acconciatura dei capelli, portare l'interruttore ON/
OFF in posizione "0" (OFF). Staccare la spina di rete e fare raffreddare
completamente l'apparecchio.
5) Per far rientrare uniformemente le due piastre riscaldanti , tirare all'indietro
i due tasti di arresto in direzione della freccia.

Lisciatura dei capelli
1) Preparare i capelli come descritto al capitolo "Prima della lisciatura".
Le piastre riscaldanti sono estratte e riscaldate.
2) Iniziare con i capelli della parte bassa e posteriore della nuca. Portarsi poi
verso il davanti procedendo prima sui lati: Separare una ciocca di capelli
larga circa 2 cm e tenere strettamente la sua attaccatura tra il dito indice e
medio della mano con cui non si tiene il ferro lisciacapelli.
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Verificare di non toccare il cuoio capelluto con le piastre riscaldanti .
Pericolo di ustioni! Mentre l'apparecchio è in funzione, è possibile afferrarlo
solo per l'impugnatura! Pericolo di ustioni!
3) Inserire la ciocca di capelli vicino al cuoio capelluto tra le piastre riscaldanti
e comprimere queste ultime.
4) Far passare l'intera ciocca di capelli tra le piastre riscaldanti tirando velocemente il ferro lisciacapelli dall'attaccatura verso il basso fino alle punte.
5) Procedere in questo modo con ogni singola ciocca.
6) Una volta che sono state lisciate tutte le ciocche, staccare la spina dalla
presa di corrente.
7) Fare raffreddare completamente l'apparecchio.
8) Per far rientrare di nuovo uniformemente le due piastre riscaldanti , tirare
all'indietro i due tasti di arresto in direzione della freccia.
Comprimere le piastre riscaldanti e infilare nuovamente il blocco .

Pulizia
PERICOLO DI SCOSSE ELETTRICHE
► Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di
corrente.
► Per pulire l'apparecchio, non immergerlo mai in acqua o in altri liquidi!
AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Prima della pulizia, fare raffreddare correttamente l'apparecchio.
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non usare detergenti aggressivi o solventi. In caso contrario, si potrebbero
arrecare danni alla superficie.
1) Pulire l'alloggiamento e le piastre riscaldanti con un panno umido.
2) In caso di sporco ostinato, versare un po' di detergente delicato sul panno.
Rimuovere eventuali residui di detersivo con un panno inumidito con acqua.
3) Lasciar asciugare bene l'apparecchio prima di riutilizzarlo.
Conservazione
■ Per lasciar raffreddare l'apparecchio, posizionarlo sempre su una superficie
resistente alle alte temperature.
■ È possibile appendere l'apparecchio all'occhiello di sospensione .

■ Pulire l'apparecchio come descritto nel capitolo "Pulizia".

of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and
disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating

Intended use
This hair straightener is intended only for the straightening of human hair. Under
no circumstances is it to be used for wigs and hairpieces made of synthetic material.
This appliance is intended exclusively for private use. Pay heed to all of the information in this operating manual, especially the safety instructions. This appliance
is not intended for commercial applications.
The appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the
scope described. No claims of any kind will be accepted for damage arising
as a result of incorrect use. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Safety information
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supply-
ing a mains power voltage of 110 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz.
► Remove the plug from the mains power socket in the event of
operating malfunctions and before cleaning the appliance.
► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the
socket, do not pull the power cable itself.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or damp
during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be
crushed or damaged.
► Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug become
damaged, arrange for them to be repaired by Customer
Services to avoid hazardous situations.
► Do not use the appliance outdoors.
► Do not use extension cables – this will make it easier to dis-
connect the appliance quickly in an emergency.
► Never take hold of the appliance, the power cable or the
power plug with wet hands.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable
so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and pro-
tect it from being damaged. Under no circumstances should
the appliance be submersed in liquids or liquids be allowed
to penetrate the housing. Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it outdoors. If liquid gets into the housing,
disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
► Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Never use the appliance near water, and keep it away
from sinks, baths and other similar containers. The proximity
of water is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched off.
Always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket
after use. As additional protection, we recommend you
install a residual current circuit-breaker with an activation
power rating of not more than 30 mA for the power circuit
in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Never leave a switched-on appliance unsupervised.
► Never place the appliance close to sources of heat, and
protect the power cable from damage.
► Do not operate the appliance if it has sustained a fall or is
damaged in any way. Have the appliance checked and/or
repaired by qualified technicians if necessary.
► This appliance may be used by children of the age of 8 years
or more and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge
only if they are being supervised or have been instructed
with regard to the safe use of the appliance and have understood the potential risks.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by
children unless they are under supervision.
► Do not open the housing or attempt to repair the appliance
yourself. This can lead to risks and also invalidates the warranty.
Defective appliances should be repaired by authorized
specialists only.
► The appliance becomes hot during use. Always hold the ap-
pliance using the grip when it is hot.

Package contents
The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
carton.
2) Remove all packaging material.
3) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section entitled "Cleaning".
NOTE
► Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.
► If any items are missing or damaged as a result of defective packaging or
transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter "Service").
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are
no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period so
that the appliance can be properly packed for returning in the event of a
warranty claim.

Before straightening
■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. The only exception
to this are special products which facilitate hair straightening.
■ Comb the hair thoroughly before straightening so that there are no knots in it.
Operation
Switching on/off
NOTE
► The appliance will only heat up if the hotplates are pulled out. The
indicator lamp will light up even if the hotplates are pushed in if the
ON/OFF switch is set to "I".
► The hotplates must be free of dirt. Clean them before use if required
(see section "Cleaning").
The appliance is secured with the catch .
Press the hotplates together and pull the catch out.
Now you can open the hair straightener.
1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
2) Pull the two hotplates out completely.
3) Push the ON/OFF switch to the “I” (on) position. The indicator lamp
switches on. The appliance heats up. After about 3 minutes, the hair straightener has heated up.
4) When you have finished styling your hair, push the ON/OFF switch to
the “0” (off) position. Pull out the plug and allow the appliance to cool down
completely.
5) Pull the two locking buttons in the direction of the arrow, so you can push
the two hotplates back in evenly.

Straightening hair
1) Prepare the hair as described in "Before straightening". The two hotplates
are pulled out and heated.
2) Start with the lower sections of hair at the back of your head. Work around
the sides to the front: take a strand of hair about 2cm wide and hold the
end of the strand tightly between your index and middle finger of the hand
which is not holding the hair straightener.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Ensure that the hotplates do not touch your scalp. Risk of burns! During
operation, touch the appliance only on the handles. Risk of burns!
3) Clamp the strand near the root between the hotplates and press them
together.
4) Pull the entire strand through the hotplates by pulling the hair straightener
quickly downwards from the root to the tips.
5) Proceed in the same way for every strand.
6) Once you have straightened all the strands, pull the power plug from the
mains power socket.
7) Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
8) Pull the two locking buttons in the direction of the arrow, so you can push
the two hotplates in evenly.
Press the hotplates together and push the catch back in.

Cleaning

1) Wipe the housing and the hotplates with a damp cloth.

Warranty
This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
► The warranty is valid only for material or manufacturing faults, not for
