te del presente prodotto. Esso contiene importanti indicazioni sulla sicurezza,
l'uso e lo smaltimento. Prima di utilizzare il prodotto, acquisire dimestichezza con
tutte le indicazioni relative ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzare il prodotto solo
come descritto e per i campi d'impiego indicati. In caso di cessione del prodotto

Avvertenze di sicurezza
PERICOLO DI SCOSSA ELETTRICA!
Non immergere mai l'apparecchio, il cavo di alimenta-
►
zione o la spina in acqua o altri liquidi! Sussiste altrimenti
il pericolo di morte per folgorazione!
► Assicurarsi che la base con i collegamenti elettrici non venga
mai a contatto con l'acqua! Se la base si bagnasse accidentalmente, farla asciugare completamente prima di rimetterla
in funzione.
► Impedire il contatto di liquidi in fuoriuscita con la connessione
a spina.
► Utilizzare l'apparecchio solo con la base acclusa.
► Impedire che il cavo di rete si bagni o si inumidisca durante
l'uso dell'apparecchio. Condurlo in modo tale da impedire
che si incastri o danneggi in altro modo.
► Al fine di evitare pericoli, fare sostituire immediatamente
spine o cavi danneggiati da personale specializzato autorizzato o dal centro di assistenza clienti.
► Controllare l'apparecchio prima dell'uso per rilevare even-
tuali danni visibili. Non mettere in funzione l'apparecchio se
danneggiato o caduto.
► Non aprire mai alcuna parte dell'alloggiamento dell'appa-
recchio. In esso non è presente alcun elemento di comando.
► Fare eseguire le riparazioni solo da aziende specializzate o
dall'assistenza ai clienti. Riparazioni non conformi possono
causare gravi pericoli per l'utente e comportano la decadenza
della garanzia.

AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini
a partire dagli 8anni di età e da persone con capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insufficiente esperienza
o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso sicuro
dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli
associati.
► La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura dell'utente non devono
essere eseguite da bambini, a meno che non abbiano almeno 8 anni di età e siano sorvegliati.
► Tenere lontani dall'apparecchio e dal cavo di allacciamento
i bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni.
► I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio.
► Assicurarsi che l'apparecchio sia posizionato stabilmente e
in verticale prima di accenderlo. In caso contrario l'apparecchio potrebbe cadere e spruzzare latte bollente.
► Non toccare le parti rotanti durante il funzionamento!
► Durante l'uso alcune parti dell'apparecchio diventano molto
calde.
L'apparecchio riscaldato va pertanto afferrato esclusivamente
dalla maniglia.
► Dopo l'uso, la superficie dell'elemento riscaldante presenta
ancora del calore residuo.
► Se non si utilizza più l'apparecchio o se si desidera pulirlo,
staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente.

ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non utilizzare timer esterni o un sistema di telecomando
separato per azionare l'apparecchio.
► Non lasciare mai l'apparecchio incustodito durante l'uso.
► Assicurarsi che l'apparecchio, il cavo di rete o la spina non
vengano mai a contatto con sorgenti di calore come piastre
di cottura o fiamme libere.
► Usare l'apparecchio solo con il coperchio collocato.
► Non azionare mai l'apparecchio a vuoto. L'apparecchio
potrebbe danneggiarsi irreparabilmente.
► Non lavare l'apparecchio o sue parti in lavastoviglie!

Disimballaggio
PERICOLO
► Il materiale di imballaggio non deve essere utilizzato dai bambini come
giocattolo. Pericolo di soffocamento.
♦ Rimuovere dal cartone tutte le parti dell'apparecchio e il manuale di
istruzioni.
♦ Rimuovere completamente il materiale di imballaggio.
♦ Pulire l'apparecchio come descritto al capitolo Pulizia.

Installazione
L'apparecchio è ora pronto per l'uso.

♦ Se non lo si è ancora fatto, svolgere completamente il cavo di rete
dall'avvolgicavo 8 e farlo passare attraverso l'incavo della base 7.
♦ Poggiare l'apparecchio su una superficie asciutta e piana. Assicurarsi che
la spina di rete si trovi nelle vicinanze.
♦ Applicare la frusta 3 all'albero motore all'interno del recipiente 4.
♦ Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente.

Suggerimenti per una buona schiuma di latte
■ Con questo apparecchio si deve schiumare solo latte di mucca. Altri tipi di
latte si possono schiumare solo limitatamente oppure possono traboccare
dall'apparecchio.
■ Il latte scremato o magro non brucia facilmente come il latte intero, ma
a causa dello scarso contenuto di grasso c'è il rischio che non si riesca a
schiumare bene. Pertanto utilizzare latte con una percentuale di grasso del
3,5% o 1,5%.
■ Il latte ben raffreddato può essere schiumato meglio del latte non molto
freddo.
■ Non schiumare il latte per la seconda volta altrimenti esso brucerà.
■ Fare riposare il latte schiumato per circa 30 secondi prima di versare la
schiuma sul cappuccino, espresso, ecc. Durante questo tempo le bolle d'aria
più grosse scoppiano e il latte ancora liquido scende sul fondo. Così si può
utilizzare la schiuma fine.
Uso
PERICOLO DI SCOSSA ELETTRICA!
► Assicurarsi che la base 7 con i collegamenti elettrici non venga mai a
contatto con liquidi!
AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Per motivi di sicurezza, non aprire il coperchio 1 mentre l'apparecchio è
in funzione. Sussiste il pericolo di ustioni.
► Durante l'uso alcune parti dell'apparecchio diventano molto calde.
L'apparecchio riscaldato va pertanto afferrato esclusivamente dalla
maniglia.
► Utilizzare sempre latte fresco. Non consumare latte lasciato a lungo nel
recipiente 4.

NOTA
► Per interrompere anticipatamente il procedimento di preparazione, pre-
mere il tasto "ON/OFF" 6 o togliere l'apparecchio dalla base 7. Se si
desidera proseguire il procedimento di preparazione, bisogna selezionare
nuovamente il programma.

♦ Togliere il recipiente 4 dalla base 7 e versarvi il latte. Versare una quanti-
tà minima di latte così come indicato dalla marcatura MIN (= 75 ml) situata
all'interno del recipiente 4. Non versare tuttavia mai una quantità di latte
superiore a quanto indicato dalla corrispondente marcatura MAX, altrimenti
il latte trabocca dall'apparecchio:
– fino alla marcatura MAX inferiore
il latte
– fino alla marcatura MAX superiore
scaldare il latte
♦ Collocare il recipiente 4 sulla base 7.
♦ Applicare il coperchio 1.
♦ Con il tasto "FUNCTION" 5 , selezionare il programma adatto:
– Premere 1 volta = scaldare il latte con una schiuma spumosa
– Premere 2 volte = scaldare il latte con una schiuma compatta
– Premere 3 volte = scaldare il latte con poca schiuma
– Premere 4 volte = schiumare il latte a freddo
La spia di controllo 9 del programma in questione si accende
(rosso = caldo, blu = freddo).
♦ Per avviare il programma selezionato premere il tasto "ON/OFF" 6.
L'apparecchio avvia il procedimento di preparazione.
♦ Al termine del programma l'apparecchio si spegne automaticamente e la
spia di controllo 9 si spegne.
Per interrompere anticipatamente il procedimento di preparazione, pre-
mere il tasto "ON/OFF" 6 o togliere l'apparecchio dalla base 7. Se si
desidera proseguire il procedimento di preparazione, bisogna selezionare
nuovamente il programma.
♦ Togliere il coperchio 1 e versare il latte o la schiuma di latte nel contenitore
desiderato.
♦ Lasciare raffreddare l'apparecchio per circa 2 minuti prima di scaldare
un'altra porzione di latte. In caso contrario, dopo cinque cicli consecutivi
l'apparecchio fa scattare automaticamente la protezione dal surriscalda-
mento. Le spie di controllo 9 lampeggiano e non è possibile effettuare
immissioni. Dopo circa cinque minuti l'apparecchio è di nuovo pronto per
l'uso.

Ricette
La schiuma di latte può essere utilizzata per varie bevande, ad esempio:
Cappuccino all'italiana
♦ Versare un espresso (circa 25 - 30 ml) in una tazza di capacità compresa
fra 120 e 180 ml.
♦ Versare la schiuma di latte fino a riempire la tazza fino all'orlo.
Marocchino
♦ Sciogliere circa un cucchiaino di cioccolata al latte.
♦ Distribuire la cioccolata sciolta sulla parete interna di un bicchiere e versarvi
dentro l'espresso.
♦ Versare circa 3 - 4 cucchiaini di schiuma di latte e cospargere con polvere
di cacao.
Melange viennese
♦ Versare circa 125 ml di caffè nero e forte in una tazza per moca.
♦ Schiumare 110 ml di latte e versare schiuma di latte fino a riempire la tazza
poco sotto l'orlo.
♦ A seconda dei gusti personali si può aggiungere ancora altro zucchero.
Pulizia

► Prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la spina di alimentazione dalla presa
di corrente!
► Non immergere mai l'apparecchio, il cavo di alimentazione o la spina in
acqua o altri liquidi!
AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio prima della pulizia. Pericolo di ustioni!
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
Non lavare l'apparecchio o sue parti in lavastoviglie!
►
► Non utilizzare detersivi abrasivi o corrosivi. Essi possono aggredire la
superficie e danneggiare irreparabilmente l'apparecchio.

Pulire il recipiente 4 dopo ogni utilizzo non appena si è raffreddato, per evitare
che vi si incrostino residui di latte. A tale scopo procedere come segue:
♦ Per una prima pulizia approssimativa, versare acqua ed eventualmente un
poco di detersivo nel recipiente 4 (la frusta 3 è inserita). Rispettare le
marcature MIN e MAX
♦ Avviare l'apparecchio in modo che la frusta 3 giri un poco nell'acqua.
Lavare quindi l'apparecchio con abbondante acqua pulita.
Per una pulizia accurata e per la prima pulizia procedere come segue:
♦ Togliere la frusta 3 dall'apparecchio e lavare l'interno dell'apparecchio
con acqua calda ed eventualmente con un detersivo delicato. Pulire l'in-
terno con un panno morbido o una spugna. Fare attenzione in particolare
all'area dell'albero motore. Poi risciacquare accuratamente l'apparecchio
con acqua pulita e asciugarlo.
♦ Rimuovere l'anello di guarnizione 2 dal coperchio 1 e pulire entrambe
le parti con acqua e aggiunta di detergente delicato. Rimuovere i resti
di detersivo con acqua pulita e asciugare i pezzi accuratamente. Infilare
nuovamente l'anello di guarnizione 2 sul coperchio 1.
♦ Pulire la frusta 3 in acqua con detersivo delicato e risciacquare tutto con
acqua corrente. Farla asciugare.
♦ Pulire tutte le superfici esterne, la base 7 e il cavo di rete con un panno
leggermente inumidito. In caso di sporco ostinato, versare un poco di
detersivo delicato sul panno. Rimuovere eventuali residui di detersivo con
un panno inumidito solo con acqua. Asciugare bene l'apparecchio prima di
riutilizzarlo.
(= 300 ml).
Conservazione
♦ Fare raffreddare completamente l'apparecchio prima di riporlo.
♦ Avvolgere il cavo di rete sempre in senso orario attorno all'avvolgicavo 8.
♦ Conservare l'apparecchio in un luogo asciutto e pulito.

Smaltimento
Smaltimento dell'apparecchio
Non smaltire assolutamente l'apparecchio insieme ai normali
rifiuti domestici.
Questo prodotto è soggetto alla direttiva europea 2012/19/EU.
Far smaltire l'apparecchio da un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o dall'ente
di smaltimento comunale. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso di
dubbi, mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento competente.
Per lo smaltimento del prodotto una volta che ha terminato la sua funzione,
informarsi presso l'amministrazione comunale.
Smaltimento dell'imballaggio
Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce
la generazione di rifiuti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in
conformità alle vigenti norme locali.

questo prodotto presentasse vizi, Le spettano diritti legali nei confronti del venditore
del prodotto. La garanzia qui di seguito descritta non costituisce alcun limite a
tali diritti legali.
Condizioni di garanzia
Il periodo di garanzia decorre dalla data dell’acquisto. Si prega di conservare lo
scontrino di cassa originale. Tale documento è necessario come prova di acquisto.
Qualora entro tre anni a partire dalla data dell’acquisto di questo prodotto si
presentasse un vizio del materiale o di fabbricazione, provvederemo, a nostra
discrezione, a riparare o a sostituire gratuitamente il prodotto. Questa prestazione
di garanzia ha come presupposto che l’apparecchio difettoso e la prova di acquisto
(scontrino di cassa) vengano presentati entro il termine di tre anni e che si descriva
per iscritto in cosa consiste il vizio e quando si è presentato.
Se il vizio rientra nell’ambito della nostra garanzia, il Suo prodotto verrà riparato
o sostituito da uno nuovo. Con la riparazione o la sostituzione del prodotto non
decorre un nuovo periodo di garanzia.

Periodo di garanzia e diritti legali di rivendicazione
di vizi
Il periodo di garanzia non viene prolungato da interventi in garanzia. Ciò vale
anche per le parti sostituite e riparate. Danni e vizi eventualmente già presenti
al momento dell’acquisto devono venire segnalati immediatamente dopo che
l’apparecchio è stato disimballato. Le riparazioni eseguite dopo la scadenza del
periodo di garanzia sono a pagamento.
Ambito della garanzia
L’apparecchio è stato prodotto con cura secondo severe direttive qualitative e
debitamente collaudato prima della consegna.
La garanzia viene prestata in caso di vizi del materiale o di fabbricazione.
Questa garanzia non si estende a componenti del prodotto che sono esposti al
normale logorio e possono pertanto essere considerati come componenti soggetti
a usura o a danni che si verificano su componenti delicati, per es. interruttori, batterie,
stampi da forno o parti realizzate in vetro.
Questa garanzia decade se il prodotto è stato danneggiato oppure utilizzato o
sottoposto a interventi di manutenzione in modo non conforme. Per un utilizzo
adeguato del prodotto si devono rigorosamente rispettare tutte le istruzioni esposte
nel manuale di istruzioni per l’uso. Si devono assolutamente evitare modalità di
utilizzo e azioni che il manuale di istruzioni per l’uso sconsiglia o da cui esso mette
in guardia.
Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso domestico e non a quello commerciale. La garanzia decade in caso di impiego improprio o manomissione, uso
della forza e interventi non eseguiti dalla nostra filiale di assistenza autorizzata.

Trattamento dei casi di garanzia
Per garantire una rapida evasione della Sua richiesta, La preghiamo di seguire le
seguenti istruzioni:
■ Tenga a portata di mano per qualsiasi richiesta lo scontrino di cassa e il
codice dell’articolo (per es. IAN 12345) come prova di acquisto.
■ Il codice dell’articolo è indicato sulla targhetta di modello, su un’incisione,
sul frontespizio del manuale di istruzioni per l’uso (in basso a sinistro) o
come adesivo sul lato posteriore o inferiore.
■ Qualora si presentassero malfunzionamenti o altri tipi di vizi, contatti innan-
zitutto il reparto assistenza clienti qui di seguito indicato telefonicamente
o via e-mail.

Safety instructions

Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the

plug in water or any other liquids! This could lead to a
potentially fatal electric shock!
► Ensure that the base containing the electrical connections
never comes into contact with water! Allow the base to dry
completely if it accidentally becomes wet.
► Do not allow any liquid to run over the appliance's plug
connections.
► Use the appliance only with the supplied base.
► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp
when the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it
cannot be trapped or damaged in any way.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► Prior to use, check the appliance for visible external dam-
age. Do not use an appliance that has been damaged or
dropped.

♦ If you have not already done so, unwind the mains cable from around the
cable retainer 8 and guide it through the recess on the base 7.
♦ Place the appliance on a dry and level surface. Ensure that the mains plug
is within easy reach.
♦ Push the whisk 3 on the drive shaft inside the container4.
♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
The appliance is now ready for use.

Tips for good frothy milk
■ Froth only cow's milk with this appliance. Other types of milk can only be
frothed to a certain extent, or may cause the appliance to overflow.
■ Low fat or skimmed milk does not burn on as easily as whole milk; however,
if the fat content is too low, there is a risk that the milk will not froth well. You
should therefore use milk with a fat content of 3.5% or 1.5% when possible.
■ Well-cooled milk can be frothed better than warm milk.
■ Do not froth the milk a second time, otherwise it may burn.
■ Leave frothed milk to stand for about 30 seconds before you add the foam
to cappuccino, espresso, etc. During this time the larger bubbles burst and
the still-liquid milk flows to the bottom. You can then use the fine foam.

► Ensure that the base 7 containing the electrical connections never comes
into contact with liquids!
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► For safety reasons, you should not open the lid 1 while the appliance is in
operation. There is a risk of scalding.
► Parts of the appliance get hot during use! Therefore, touch the heated
appliance only by the handle.
► Always use fresh milk. Do not consume milk which has been standing in the
container 4 for extended periods.

NOTE
► If you wish to stop the preparation process before completion, press the
"ON/OFF" button 6 or take the appliance off the base 7. You will have
to reselect the programme when you continue the preparation process.

♦ Remove the container 4 from the base 7 and fill it with milk. Add enough
milk to reach the MIN mark (= 75 ml) inside the container 4. However,
you should never fill it with milk beyond the corresponding MAX marking,
otherwise the appliance will spill over:
– up to the lower MAX marking
– up to the upper MAX marking
the milk
♦ Place the container 4 on the base 7.
♦ Put the lid 1 on.
♦ Use the "FUNCTION" button 5 to select the appropriate programme:
– Press once = heat milk with foamy froth
– Press twice = heat milk with compact froth
– Press three times = heat milk with only a little froth
– Press four times = froth milk cold
The control lamp 9 for the relevant programme lights up
(red = hot, blue = cold).
♦ Press the "ON/OFF" 6 button to start the selected programme.
The appliance starts the preparation process.
♦ The appliance switches off automatically at the end of the programme, the
control lamp 9 goes off.
If you wish to stop the preparation process before completion, press the
"ON/OFF" button 6 or take the appliance off the base 7. You will have
to reselect the programme when you continue the preparation process.
♦ Remove the lid 1 and pour the milk and/or the milk froth into the desired
container.
♦ Allow the appliance to cool down for about 2 minutes before you froth up
another portion of milk. Otherwise the appliance will automatically trigger the
overheating protection after five successive cycles. The control lamps 9 flash
and you cannot make any entries. The appliance is ready for use again after
around five minutes.

Recipe ideas
You can use the milk froth for a range of drink variations such as:
Italian-style cappuccino
♦ Pour an espresso (about 25–30 ml) into an approx. 120–180 ml cup.
♦ Then pour milk froth onto it until the cup is filled to the brim.
Marocchino
♦ Melt about a teaspoon of milk chocolate.
♦ Spread the melted chocolate onto the inside of a glass and pour in an
espresso.
♦ Add around 3–4 teaspoons of frothed milk and then sprinkle it with cocoa
powder.
Vienna melange
♦ Pour about 125 ml of strong black coffee into a mocha coffee cup.
♦ Froth up about 110 ml of milk and add as much milk froth as is needed to
fill the cup to just below the rim.
♦ Depending on personal taste, you can add a little sugar.

Clean the container 4 immediately after it has cooled down each time you use it
to prevent the milk residue from drying on. Proceed as follows:
For a thorough cleaning and for the initial cleaning, proceed as follows:
Storage
♦ For initial basic cleaning, fill the container 4 with water and, if required, a
little detergent (the whisk 3 is inserted). While doing so, note the MIN and
MAX - markings
♦ Start the appliance so that the whisk 3 swirls through the water for a while.
Afterwards, rinse the appliance out with clean water.
♦ Remove the whisk 3 from the appliance and clean the inside of the
appliance with warm water and mild detergent if required. Wipe the interior
out with a soft cloth or sponge. Pay special attention to the area around the
drive shaft. Afterwards, rinse out the appliance thoroughly with clean water
and dry it.
♦ Pull the sealing ring 2 off the lid 1 and clean both parts in mild soapy
water. Rinse off detergent residues with fresh water and dry the parts well.
Push the sealing ring 2 back onto the lid 1.
♦ Clean the whisk 3 in mild soapy water and then rinse it thoroughly with
fresh water. Allow it to dry.
♦ Clean all exterior surfaces, the base 7 and the mains cable with a slightly
damp cloth. For stubborn soiling, use a mild detergent on the cloth. Wipe
off any detergent residues using a cloth moistened only with clean water.
Always dry the appliance thoroughly before using it again.
♦ Allow the appliance cool down completely before putting it into storage.
♦ Wind the power cable around the cable retainer 8 in a clockwise direction.
♦ Store the appliance in a clean and dry location.
(= 300 ml).

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how
to dispose of the product.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights

Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:

♦ Falls noch nicht geschehen, wickeln Sie das Netzkabel komplett von der Ka-
belaufwicklung 8 und führen Sie es durch die Aussparung am Sockel 7.
♦ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine trockene und ebene Fläche. Achten Sie
darauf, dass der Netzstecker in erreichbarer Nähe ist.
♦ Schieben Sie den Quirl 3 auf die Antriebswelle im Inneren des Behälters4.
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

Tipps für guten Milchschaum
■ Schäumen Sie nur Kuhmilch mit diesem Gerät auf. Andere Milchsorten
lassen sich nur mit Einschränkungen aufschäumen oder können das Gerät
zum Überlaufen bringen.
■ Entrahmte oder Magermilch brennt nicht so leicht an wie Vollmilch, bei zu
geringem Fettgehalt besteht allerdings das Risiko, dass sich die Milch nicht
gut aufschäumen lässt. Benutzen Sie daher möglichst eine Milch mit 3,5 %
oder 1,5 % Fettanteil.
■ Gut gekühlte Milch lässt sich besser aufschäumen als weniger kalte.
■ Schäumen Sie die Milch kein zweites Mal auf, da sie sonst anbrennt.
■ Lassen Sie aufgeschäumte Milch ca. 30 Sekunden lang stehen, bevor Sie
den Schaum auf den Cappuccino, Espresso etc. geben. In dieser Zeit platzen größere Blasen und noch flüssige Milch setzt sich unten ab. Sie können
dann den feinen Schaum verwenden.
Bedienen
GEFAHR - ELEKTRISCHER SCHLAG!
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sockel 7 mit den elektrischen Anschlüssen
niemals mit Flüssigkeiten in Berührung kommt!
WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Aus Sicherheitsgründen sollten Sie den Deckel 1 nicht öffnen, während
das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Es besteht die Gefahr von Verbrühungen.
► Teile des Gerätes werden während des Betriebs heiß! Fassen Sie das
erhitzte Gerät daher nur am Griff an.
► Verwenden Sie immer frische Milch. Verzehren Sie keine Milch, die schon
länger im Behälter 4 gestanden hat.

► Wenn Sie den Zubereitungsvorgang vorzeitig stoppen wollen, drücken Sie
die Taste „ON/OFF" 6 oder nehmen Sie das Gerät vom Sockel 7. Sie
müssen das Programm neu auswählen, wenn Sie den Zubereitungsvorgang
fortsetzen wollen.

♦ Nehmen Sie den Behälter 4 vom Sockel 7 und füllen Sie die Milch ein.
Füllen Sie dabei mindestens soviel Milch ein, dass die MIN-Markierung (=
75 ml) im Inneren des Behälters 4 erreicht wird. Füllen Sie jedoch niemals
mehr Milch ein, als bis zur entsprechenden MAX - Markierung, da das
Gerät sonst überläuft:
– bis zur unteren MAX - Markierung
aufschäumen wollen
– bis zur oberen MAX - Markierung
nur erwärmen wollen
♦ Stellen Sie den Behälter 4 auf den Sockel 7.
♦ Setzen Sie den Deckel 1 auf.
♦ Wählen Sie mit der Taste „FUNCTION“ 5 das passende Programm aus:
– 1 x drücken = Milch erwärmen mit luftigem Schaum
– 2 x drücken = Milch erwärmen mit kompaktem Schaum
– 3 x drücken = Milch erwärmen mit wenig Schaum
– 4 x drücken = Milch kalt aufschäumen
Die Kontrollleuchte 9 des jeweiligen Programms leuchtet auf (rot = warm,
blau = kalt).
♦ Drücken Sie die Taste „ON/OFF“ 6, um das gewählte Programm zu
starten. Das Gerät beginnt mit dem Zubereitungsvorgang.
♦ Das Gerät schaltet sich bei Programmende automatisch aus, die Kontroll-
leuchte 9 erlischt.
Wenn Sie den Zubereitungsvorgang vorzeitig stoppen wollen, drücken Sie
die Taste „ON/OFF“ 6 oder nehmen Sie das Gerät vom Sockel 7. Sie
müssen das Programm neu auswählen, wenn Sie den Zubereitungsvorgang
fortsetzen wollen.
♦ Nehmen Sie den Deckel 1 ab und füllen Sie die Milch bzw. den Milch-
schaum in das gewünschte Gefäß.
♦ Lassen Sie das Gerät für ca. 2 Minuten abkühlen, bevor Sie eine weitere
Portion Milch erwärmen. Andernfalls löst das Gerät nach fünf aufeinander-
folgenden Zyklen automatisch den Überhitzungsschutz aus. Die Kontroll-
leuchten 9 blinken und es können keine Eingaben getätigt werden. Nach
etwa fünf Minuten ist das Gerät wieder betriebsbereit.

Rezeptideen
Sie können den Milchschaum für verschiedene Getränkevariationen verwenden,
zum Beispiel:
Cappuccino nach italienischer Art
♦ Geben Sie einen Espresso (ca. 25 - 30 ml) in eine etwa 120 - 180 ml
fassende Tasse.
♦ Gießen Sie dann Milchschaum hinzu, bis die Tasse bis zum Rand gefüllt ist.
Marocchino
♦ Schmelzen Sie ca. einen Teelöffel Vollmilchschokolade.
♦ Verteilen Sie die geschmolzene Schokolade an der Innenwand eines Glases
und gießen Sie einen Espresso hinein.
♦ Geben Sie ca. 3 - 4 Teelöffel Milchschaum hinzu und bestäuben Sie diesen
mit Kakaopulver.
Wiener Melange
♦ Geben Sie ca. 125 ml schwarzen, starken Kaffe in eine Mokka-Tasse.
♦ Schäumen Sie 110 ml Milch auf und geben Sie so viel Milchschaum hinzu,
dass die Tasse bis kurz unter den Rand gefüllt ist.
♦ Je nach persönlichem Geschmack können Sie noch etwas Zucker hinzugeben.

Reinigen Sie den Behälter 4 nach jeder Verwendung direkt nach dem Abkühlen,
um ein Antrocknen der Milchreste zu verhindern. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
♦ Für die erste, grobe Reinigung geben Sie Wasser und ggf. etwas Spülmittel
in den Behälter 4 (der Quirl 3 ist eingesetzt). Beachten Sie dabei die
MIN - und MAX - Markierung
♦ Starten Sie das Gerät, so dass der Quirl 3 eine Weile durch das Wasser
pflügt. Spülen Sie das Gerät danach mit klarem Wasser aus.
Für eine gründliche Reinigung und für die Erstreinigung gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
♦ Nehmen Sie den Quirl 3 aus dem Gerät und reinigen Sie das Innere des
Gerätes mit warmem Wasser und ggf. mit einem milden Spülmittel. Wischen
Sie das Innere mit einem weichen Tuch oder Schwamm aus. Achten Sie da-
bei besonders auf den Bereich um die Antriebswelle. Spülen Sie das Gerät
anschließend sorgfältig mit klarem Wasser aus und trocknen Sie es ab.
♦ Ziehen Sie den Dichtungsring 2 vom Deckel 1 ab und reinigen Sie beide
Teile in mildem Spülwasser. Entfernen Sie Spülmittelreste mit klarem Wasser
und trocknen Sie die Teile gut ab. Schieben Sie den Dichtungsring 2
wieder auf den Deckel 1.
♦ Reinigen Sie den Quirl 3 in mildem Spülwasser und spülen Sie ihn mit
klarem Wasser ab. Lassen Sie ihn trocknen.
♦ Reinigen Sie alle Außenflächen, den Sockel 7 und das Netzkabel mit
einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch. Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen ge-
ben Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch. Entfernen Sie Spülmittelreste mit
einem nur mit Wasser befeuchtetem Tuch. Trocknen Sie das Gerät sorgfältig
ab, bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.
(= 300 ml).
Aufbewahren
♦ Lassen Sie das Gerät erst vollständig auskühlen, bevor Sie es wegstellen.
♦ Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel im Uhrzeigersinn um die Kabelaufwicklung 8.
♦ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen und trockenen Ort.

Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile, die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
