Assembling and operating the appliance
Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all component parts
thoroughly as described in the section “Cleaning and care”.
Select a safe and secure positioning for the juicer. For optimal handling we
recommend that the appliance is positioned with the power cable 8 running from the rear of the appliance to the wall socket. All operating elements can now be directly and easily handled:
– the On/Off switch 9 at the front, – the container for fruit and vegetable pulp q on the left, – the juice outlet 6 on the right.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Ensure that the appliance is switched off and the plug 8 removed from the
wall socket before assembling the appliance.
1) Place the juice tank 5 on the appliance base 7, so that the three catches and the juice outlet 6 grip into in the recesses.
2) Place the filter w on the drive shaft e and press it down so that it audibly clicks into place. Ensure that it is firmly seated before continuing with the assembly.
3) Slide the container for fruit and vegetable pulp q from below under the outlet (see fold-out page).
4) Place the lid 3 onto the juice tank 5, so that the feed tube 2 is sitting above the blades of the filter w.
5) Ensure that the lid 3 is sitting firmly in the recess on the juice tank 5. Lift the clamps 4 and clip them into the notches on the lid 3.
6) Press the lower part of the clamps 4 against the appliance until they click into place.
7) Push the foam separator z into the juice collector t and put the lid on. Place the separate juice collector t next to the appliance so that the juice outlet 6 protrudes into the separate juice collector t.
8) Insert the plug 8 into a mains power socket.

Preparing the fruits/vegetables
■ Important: Use only well-ripened fruit, as otherwise the filter w will get
blocked. This would require repeated cleaning of the filter w.
Wash or peel the fruits/vegetables that you wish to process.
Large seeds or stones should always be removed before filling the appliance.
Cored fruit (such as apples, pears) can be processed along with the skin and
core. Remove all other stones (peaches, plums etc.), all large seeds (melons etc.) and stalks to avoid possible damage to the appliance.
Fruits and vegetables with thick peels (e.g. citrus fruits, melons, kiwis, root
vegetables) must always be peeled first.
Remove the stalks from grapes.
Cut the fruit or vegetables into pieces that will fit easily into the feed tube 2.
Turmeric only needs to be washed, not peeled.
Remove the woody parts from the ginger, wash the ginger and cut it into
pieces. You don’t have to peel ginger to extract the juice.
For celery, cut off the base and remove wilted leaves. Always feed celery
with the lower, wide end first into the feed tube 2.
Wash any lettuce varieties, e.g. iceberg or loose-leaf lettuce, and fold the
individual leaves together to form small “packages”. The resulting higher pressure allows more liquid to be obtained.
NOTE
Raisins are not suitable for juicing as they contain too little juice. Rhubarb
or other fibrous vegetables/fruits are not suitable for juicing as the fibres will block the juicer.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
NEVER insert your hands or other objects into the feed tube 2 when working
with the appliance. This could lead to serious injuries and/or damage to the appliance.
IE

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
DO NOT operate the juicer for longer than 10 minutes (CO time) without
a break. After 10 minutes of continuous use allow the juicer to cool down. Otherwise the appliance could be damaged.
1) Switch the appliance on with the On/Off switch 9. Use speed level 1 for juicing fruit/vegetables containing a lot of liquid. For drier fruit/vegetables, select speed level 2.
You can use the following table as an orientation guide. Please bear in mind, however, that the required speed may vary depending on the ripeness of the fruit.

2) Hold the pusher 1 in one hand and feed the fruit or vegetable pieces with the other hand into the feed tube 2. Always use the pusher 1 to carefully press the fruit/vegetable pieces into the feed tube 2. While the fruit/vegetables are being processed, insert further pieces into the feed tube. Do not switch the appliance off.
NOTE
Add carrots one after the other into the feed tube 2: the top of the carrot
must be at the bottom and the pointed end at the top.
NOTE
To avoid fruit or vegetables becoming blocked in the feed tube 2, only
fill it when the appliance is switched on. If fruit or vegetable pieces get stuck in the feed tube 2 and cannot be promptly freed with the pusher 1, proceed as follows to avoid damage to the appliance:
– Switch the off appliance immediately and pull the power plug 8
from the wall socket.
– Undo the clamps 4 and remove the lid 3. – Remove the fruit or vegetable pieces causing the blockage. – Reassemble the appliance and continue with juice extraction.
3) Always switch the off appliance immediately after all of the fruit/vegetables have been processed.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
To avoid blockage of the juice outlet 6 and/or damage to the appliance,
clean the juice outlet 6 and the juice tank 5 regularly and after every use.
Emptying the pulp container and the filter
You can extract juices continuously until the container for fruit and vegetable
pulp q is completely full.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Remove the plug 8 from the power outlet when emptying the filter w.
This prevents unintentional starting of the appliance.
If the extracted juice suddenly starts getting thicker, or if you hear that the motor is running more slowly, the filter w needs to be emptied. When you have removed the fruit pulp, reassemble the appliance.

SFEE 800 A1
Dismantling the juicer
If you wish to dismantle the juicer, e.g. to clean it, proceed as follows:
1) Remove the mains plug 8 from the socket.
2) Open the clamps 4.
3) Remove the lid 3 with the pusher 1.
4) Lift up the juice tank 5 carefully. This disengages the filter w from the drive shaft e. You can now remove the filter w from the juice tank 5.
Cleaning and care
DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Always remove the mains plug 8 from the wall socket before cleaning the
appliance.
To avoid receiving an electrical shock, never submerse the motor/ appliance base 7 in water or other fluids.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always pull out the mains plug 8 before fitting or removing accessories.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
To avoid blockage of the juice outlet 6 and/or damage to the appliance,
all fruit and vegetable pulp must be regularly cleaned off the appliance and accessories. Also clean after every use.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents to clean the juicer. The appliance
and its accessories may not be cleaned in boiling water.
SFEE 800 A1
NOTE
Soiling or overflowing fruit juices should be cleaned away immediately, as
fruit stains are more difficult to remove later.
Switch the appliance on with the On/Off switch 9.

tened cloth.
