The soundtrack cannot be changed by pressing the DISPLAY button. Read the valid description below:

Press during playback. Each time the button is pressed, the display switches between tape counter and remaining tape time.

LR, L, R: The soundtrack can be changed with the DISPLAY

button. The soundtrack can be changed by pressing and holding the STTL button for approximately 5 secs. Repeat this step to toggle through all the soundtracks (L, R, LR, - -)

SP: Selected recording mode.

REMAIN: 0:24

You can display detailed information only during playback or recording (VHS only recording). They are not recorded.

Remaining tape time: The display depends on the correct setting of the tape length.

Tape counter: It is automatically set to 0:00.00 when a video cassette is inserted.

Use to reset the counter to / 0:00.00. RESET
