Basic Operation

AM/FM/WB Tuner Controls

VR209 Quick Reference Guide

Power On/Of f: Press to turn ON or OFF.

INFO/SCROLL: Press & hold to ent er CLOCK SETTING MODE

until t he HOUR f lashes on the LCD display. Press SEEK / to adjust the HOURS and MINUTES.

Mode: With each press of the but ton the radio will change

through the following modes: TUNER CD, *SIRIUS, *iPOD & AUX.

MUTE: Press to MUTE audio. EQ/LOUD: Press to select in sequent ial order: Flat, Rock, Pop,

Classical, or O ff. Press & hold to tur n LOUDNESS ON or OFF.

VOLUME: Rotate CLOCKWISE to INCREASE (+) volume.

Rotate COUNTERCLOCKWISE to DECREASE (-) volume.

AUDIO/MENU: Press to access AUDIO MENU. Continue to press

to nav igate through menu it ems BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE and FADER. Once desired Audio Menu item is selected, turn VOL/AUDIO SETTING knob to adjust set tings.

BAND: Press to select preset group

FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, or AM2 each with 6 channel memory locations.

WB: Press to listen to

WEATHERBAND.

MUTE: Press to MUTE audio.

Press & hold to access SYSTEM SETTING MENU.

Press & hold to store current channel playing. Momentarily press to recall stored channel. NOTE: you can store up to 30 channels (6 channels per band FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2).

STATION STORE BUTTONS:

Aux-In: Use

to connect port able audio player.

SEEK: Press or to t une to the NEXT

or PREVIOUS strongest station.

AS/PS: Press to SCAN through cur-

rently stored preset s. Pres s & hold to STORE strongest broadcast stations in your area.

PTY: Press to get program list t ype.

Use the TUNE knob to highlight desired list ty pe. Press SEEK / to tune to selected p rogram t ype stations available.

TUNER: Turn CLOCKWISE to tune UP in

frequency. Turn COUNTERCLOCKWISE to tune DOWN in frequency.

CD/MP3/WMA Player Controls

through song TITLE, ARTIST, and ALBUM informat ion w hen available.

PLAY/PAUSE: Press to PLAY

Press to skip to the NEXT folder when playing an MP3/WMA CD with folder structure.

6 UP: Press to skip to the

PREVIOUS folder when playing an MP3/WMA CD with folder str ucture.

SIRIUS® Radio Controls*

INFO/SCROLL: Press to scroll through song

TITLE, ARTIST, and ALBUM info. In the CATEGORY LIST press to cycle through song TITLE, ARTIST, and ALBUM info on other desired channels while listening to current station.

BAND: Press to select preset group

SIR1, SIR2, or SIR3 each with 6 channel memory locations.

MODE: Press & hold to LOCK or UNLOCK

current tuned channel. Enter co de using 1-6 preset buttons.

MUTE: Press to MUTE audio.

Press & hold to store current channel playin g. Momentarily press to recall stored channel.

categor y types. Use the TUNE knob to scroll through available channels within the category. To choose the selected channel press the TUNE/ENTER knob.

AS/PS: Press to play 10 seconds of each

currently stored preset. Press & hold to enter PRESET TUNE MODE. Use TUNE knob to cycle through each currently stored presets.

PTY: Press & hold to e dit LOCK CODE.

Enter code using 1-6 preset buttons.

TUNE: Tur n CLOCKWISE to tune UP a

channel. Turn COUNTERCLOCKWISE to tune DOWN a channel.

DIRECT ENTER: Press & hold to directly

enter station number. Use TUNE knob to change number. Press again to select desired number.

and available search modes. Use the TUNE knob to navigate through the available play lists. Push the TUNE/ ENTER knob to make select ion.

Activating your SIRIUS® Subscription —

Before you c an listen to Sirius Satellite Radio, you must subscribe to the servic e.

1. With the radio power ON, press the MODE button to enter Sirius Ready mode. After displaying the SIRIUS logo, the Receiver will update all the SIRIUS channels.

NOTE: Don’t push any but tons or per form any operat ions until updat ing has been compl eted.

2. Once updated and the SIRIUS channels are received, the display will change to “Call 1-888-539-SIRIUS to Subscribe” and will place you in SIRIUS Satellite Radio’s Preview Channel. Channel 184 is the SIRIUS preview channel. You will not be able to tune to any other Sirius Radio channels until you activate your subscription.

3. You will nee d to access your Sir ius ID, which is display ed on chann el 000. Pres s and hold t he TUNE knob on the radio to enter Direct Tuning mode. Using the Tune Adjust UP/DN k nob, select digits 000. Press t he TUNE/ENTER knob t o enter your s electi on. This will dis play your unit’s unique 12-digit SIRIUS ID Num ber.
