General Information
Henny Penny heated holding cabinets are designed to hold a wide range of cooked foods at safe temperatures for long periods of time prior to serving.
The HCN-5 is a half-size heated holding cabinet produced in China and developed for small grocery stores and quick-service retail chains in the Asian region. A shallower footprint is designed to hold half-size sheet pans sideways. This compact operating depth helps maximize kitchen space and efficiency and makes the HCN-5 the ideal choice for cost-conscious foodservice operators who wish to obtain the product quality and productivity benefits that Henny Penny holding cabinets are well known for.
The HCN-5 features “flip up” panels built in to the door that allow workers to pick product from upper or lower trays without opening the
door. This saves time and energy in the kitchen. Units are also commonly ordered in pass-through design, with a rear door offering convenient access from both cooking and service sides. Additional standard features such as
stainless steel construction, fully insulated cabinet walls, and selfclosing doors help protect food quality, reduce waste and provide for more efficient workflow.
Heavy-duty fan and ventilated side racks allow hot, moist air to circulate evenly throughout the cabinet and keep practically any menu item hot and tasty until serving. And that translates into higher food quality and less waste throughout the day.
Simple electro-mechanical controls feature thermostat-controlled heat that lets you adjust the environment to best suit the food product being held.
