HARMAN KARDON® ANNOUNCES MODEL NUMBER CHANGES
FOR THREE OF ITS ADVANCED-TECHNOLOGY AUDIO/VIDEO RECEIVERS
– AVR 745, AVR 645 and AVR 445 Receivers to Be Introduced –
WOODBURY, NY – Harman Kardon announced today that three advanced-technology audio/video receivers would be introduced with revised nomenclature. The models will be introduced as the 7.2-channel AVR 745 and the 7.1-channel AVR 645 and AVR 445 (not as the AVR 740, AVR 640 and AVR 440, as announced previously).
The model number changes are being made to achieve naming consistency in Harman Kardon’s audio/video receiver lineup. Other than the model number changes, all specifications and features for the AVR 745, AVR 645 and AVR 445 are identical to those announced for the AVR 740, AVR 640 and AVR 440.
Suggested retail pricing is as follows: AVR 745, $3,499; AVR 645, $1,499; AVR 445, $1,299. Availability for the receivers will be announced.
