Toutes nos félicitations pour l'achat de votre nouvel appareil.
Ainsi, vous venez d'opter pour un produit de grande qualité. Ce mode d'emploi fait partie intégrale du
programmateur d'arrosage FBC 7 B2 (désigné ci-dessous par appareil) et vous fournit des indications
importantes pour l'utilisation conforme aux dispositions, la sécurité, le branchement ainsi que l'opération
de l'appareil. Le mode d'emploi doit rester en permanence disponible à proximité de l'appareil.
Il doit être lu et utilisé par chaque personne chargée de l'opération et du dépannage de l'appareil.
Conservez ce mode d'emploi et remettez-le au nouveau propriétaire de l'appareil.

■ Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants à partir de 8 ans et plus et par
des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites
ou un manque d'expérience et de connaissances à condition qu'ils aient reçu
une supervision ou des instructions concernant I'utilisation de I'appareil en
toute sécurité et qu'ils comprennent les dangers encourus. Ne pas laisser les
enfants jouer avec l'appareil. Il est interdit aux enfants de nettoyer ou d'entretenir l'appareil sans surveillance.

■ Toute réparation de l'appareil pendant la période de garantie doit être confi ée

exclusivement à un service clientèle agréé par le fabricant, sinon les dommages
consécutifs ne seront pas couverts par la garantie.
■ Les pièces défectueuses doivent être remplacées impérativement par des pièces
de rechange d'origine. Seules ces pièces permettent de répondre aux critères
de sécurité requis.
■ Éviter toute exposition directe aux rayons au soleil.
■ Ne pas utiliser l'appareil à proximité de fl ammes ouvertes.
■ Vérifi ez régulièrement l'étanchéité et le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil et
ses conduites.
■ Coupez toujours le point de prélèvement d'eau (robinet) suite à l'utilisation
de l'appareil.
■ Ne dirigez pas le jet d'eau vers des dispositifs électriques !
■ Ne dirigez pas le jet d'eau vers des personnes ou des animaux !
■ L'appareil ne sert pas à prélever de l'eau potable !
Maniement des piles
AVERTISSEMENT
Risque dû à une utilisation non conforme!
Veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes pour assurer la manipulation des piles en toute sécurité:
► Ne jetez pas les piles au feu.
► Ne court-circuitez pas les piles.
► N'essayez pas de recharger les piles.
► Vérifi ez régulièrement les piles. Des fuites d'acide provenant de la pile peuvent
sérieusement endommager l'appareil. Veillez à prendre des précautions
particulières lors de la manipulation des piles endommagées ou présentant
une fuite. Risque de brûlure chimique! Portez des gants de protection.
► Conservez les piles hors de portée des enfants. En cas d'ingestion, consultez
immédiatement un médecin.
► Retirez les piles de l'appareil si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une
période prolongée.

Raccordement
AVERTISSEMENT
Toute mise en service de l'appareil peut entraîner des dommages sur les personnes
et des dommages matériels !
► Les matériaux d'emballage ne doivent pas être utilisés comme des jouets.
Il y a risque d'étouff ement.
Contenu de la livraison et inspection après transport
L'appareil est équipé de série des composants suivants:

REMARQUE
Vérifi ez si la livraison est au complet et ne présente aucun dégât apparent.

► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage défectueux ou du transport,
veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service après-vente (cf. chapitre "Service après-vente").
Élimination de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport. Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de l'environnement et de recyclage permettant une
élimination écologique de ceux-ci.
Le recyclage de l'emballage en fi lière de revalorisation permet d'économiser des matières
premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux d'emballage qui
ne servent plus en respectant la réglementation locale.

REMARQUE
Si possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la période de garantie de l'appareil afi n de

pouvoir emballer ce dernier en bonne et due forme en cas de recours en garantie.

Exigences posées envers le lieu d'installation
Pour assurer l'opération sûre et sans dommages de l'appareil, le lieu d'installation doit remplir les critères

suivants :
■ La température de l'eau qui s'écoule doit s'élever au maximum à 40°C.
■ Utiliser uniquement de l'eau douce claire.
■ Raccorder l'appareil à la verticale vers le bas avec le raccord du fl exible.
■ Température de service minimale +5°C.
Brancher l'appareil
ATTENTION
Le programmateur d'arrosage ne doit être branché qu'à un point de prélèvement d'eau potable
équipé d'un dispositif de sécurité correspondant au moins au type HD conformément à EN 1717
(dispositif anti-retour avec aération de conduites).
► Les adaptateurs correspondants sont disponibles dans le commerce spécialisé.
REMARQUE
► L'appareil est équipé d'un écrou-raccord pour robinets avec un fi letage de 33,3 mm (G 1").
L'adaptateur
Si des problèmes d'étanchéité/fuites venaient à survenir lors de l'utilisation de l'adaptateur
le fi letage du robinet d'eau doit alors être entouré de ruban d'étanchéité Tefl on.
♦ Placez le tamis 11, comme le montre la page dépliante, dans l'écrou-raccord.
♦ Pour un fi letage de 26,5 mm (G ³⁄₄") : Vissez l'adaptateur 12 sur le robinet.
♦ Vissez l'écrou-raccord sur le fi letage du robinet ou de l'adaptateur.
♦ Vissez la pièce d'accouplement 13 sur le raccord de tuyau 9. Vous pouvez ensuite raccorder un
fl exible à la pièce d'accouplement.
♦ Ouvrez le robinet d'eau.

Mettre en place/remplacer les piles
♦ Déverrouillez le compartiment à piles 10 et sortez-le de l'appareil en tirant vers le bas.
♦ Placez 2 piles de taille AA (LR06 - mignon) dans le compartiment à piles 10. Veillez à respecter la
polarité.
♦ Poussez le compartiment à piles 10 dans l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche.

Tenez compte du fait que la durée de l'arrosage réglée par voie manuelle sera reprise lors de

Remarques d'ordre général

■ En appuyant sur la touche M 5, vous activez le mode de programmation. Vous pouvez soit procéder à

tous les réglages à la suite, ou bien commuter entre les diff érentes possibilités de réglage en appuyant
plusieurs fois sur la touche M 5 :
― Heure système
― Heure d'arrosage 1
― Durée d'arrosage 1
― Heure d'arrosage 2
― Durée d'arrosage 2
― Intervalle d'arrosage
― Standby (mode de programmation terminé et programme d'arrosage activé).
■ Après env. 1 minute sans saisie, l'appareil retourne en mode standby. Toutes les valeurs déjà program-
mées sont conservées.
■ En appuyant brièvement sur la touche 8 il est possible de revenir d'une étape en arrière dans le
mode de programmation pour procéder à des modifi cations des valeurs programmées. En appuyant
longtemps sur la touche
sont conservées.

Interrompre l'arrosage
♦ Pendant l'arrosage, appuyez sur la touche 8, pour terminer l'arrosage.
État de chargement des piles
Lorsque le niveau de charge de la pile est faible, le symbole C clignote. Tous les autres affi chages sont
désactivés.
Aussi longtemps que le symbole clignote, il n'est pas possible d'arroser. Tout arrosage évtl. en cours est
interrompu.
REMARQUE
La programmation est enregistrée pendant 120 secondes. Si le changement de piles dure plus
►
longtemps, l'appareil doit être reprogrammé.

Dépannage
Ce chapitre vous fournit des remarques importantes sur la localisation et l'élimination des pannes.
Causes des pannes et remèdes
Le tableau ci-dessous vous aidera à localiser les petits dysfonctionnements et à y remédier:

Nettoyage
ATTENTION
Endommagement potentiel de l'appareil.
La pénétration d'humidité peut endommager l'appareil.
► Assurez-vous, lors du nettoyage, qu'aucune humidité ne pénètre dans le compartiment à piles pour
éviter tous dommages irréparables sur l'appareil.
■ Nettoyez le boîtier exclusivement à l'aide d'un chiff on humecté et d'un détergent doux.

Nettoyer le tamis

♦ Ouvrez le robinet d'eau.
♦ Laissez l'appareil se vider.
♦ Vissez l'écrou-raccord du fi letage du robinet ou de l'adaptateur.
♦ Retirez le tamis 11 conique de l'arrivée d'eau dans l'écrou-raccord.
♦ Nettoyez le tamis 11.
♦ Remettez le tamis 11 en place.
♦ Vissez l'écrou-raccord sur le fi letage du robinet ou de l'adaptateur.
♦ Ouvrez le robinet d'eau.
Entreposage/Mise au rebut
Entreposage
♦ Ouvrez le robinet d'eau.
♦ Desserrez le tuyau de la pièce d'accouplement 13.
♦ Laissez l'appareil se vider.
♦ Desserrez l'écrou-raccord .
♦ Remplacez les piles.
♦ Entreposez l'appareil dans un environnement sec et à l'abri du gel.

Mise au rebut de l'appareil
Ne jamais jeter l'appareil avec les ordures ménagères. Ce produit est
assujetti à la directive européenne 2012/19/EU-DEEE (déchets d'équipements électriques et électroniques).
Mettez l'appareil au rebut dans un point de mise au rebut agréé au auprès de votre
déchetterie communale. Observez les prescriptions actuelles en vigueur. En cas de doute,
veuillez contacter votre centre de recyclage.
Mise au rebut des piles
Les piles ne doivent pas être jetées avec les ordures ménagères. Chaque consommateur est légalement
obligé de remettre les piles à un point de collecte de sa commune/son quartier ou dans le commerce.
Cette obligation a pour objectif d'assurer l'élimination écologique des piles. Veuillez remettre les piles
uniquement dans un état déchargé.

soin et consciencieusement contrôlé avant sa distribution.
Veuillez conserver le ticket de caisse en guise de preuve d'achat. Dans le cas où la garantie s'applique, veuillez appeler le service après-vente compétent. Cette condition doit être respectée pour assurer l'expédition
gratuite de votre marchandise.

Cette garantie concerne uniquement les vices de fabrication et ne couvre pas les dommages de

transport, les pièces d'usure ou les dommages subis par des éléments fragiles, par ex. le commutateur ou les accus.
Ce matériel est exclusivement destiné à un usage privé et non commercial. La garantie est annulée en
cas d'utilisation incorrecte et inappropriée, d'utilisation brutale et en cas d'intervention qui n'aurait pas été
réalisée par un centre de service après-vente agréé.
Cette garantie ne constitue pas une restriction de vos droits légaux. La période sous garantie n'est pas
prolongée par la garantie du fabricant. Ceci vaut également pour les pièces remplacées et réparées.
Tous dommages et défauts éventuellement déjà présents à l'achat doivent être notifi és immédiatement après le
déballage, au plus tard deux jours après la date d'achat.
Toutes réparations eff ectuées après la période sous garantie sont payantes.

Umgang mit Batterien
WARNUNG
Gefahr durch nicht ordnungsgemäße Verwendung!
Für den sicheren Umgang mit Batterien beachten Sie folgende
Sicherheitshinweise:
► Werfen Sie Batterien nicht ins Feuer.
► Schließen Sie Batterien nicht kurz.
► Versuchen Sie nicht, Batterien wieder aufzuladen.
► Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Batterien. Ausgetretene Batteriesäure kann
dauerhafte Schäden am Gerät verursachen. Im Umgang mit beschädigten
oder ausgelaufen Batterien besondere Vorsicht walten lassen. Verätzungsgefahr! Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
► Batterien für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren. Bei Verschlucken umge-
hend einen Arzt aufsuchen.
► Entnehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät, wenn Sie das Gerät längere
Zeit nicht benutzen.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und verringert das
Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich
geltenden Vorschriften.

Anforderungen an den Installationsort
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Installationsort folgende Voraussetzungen
erfüllen:

■ Die Temperatur des durchfl ießenden Wassers darf max. 40°C betragen.
■ Nur klares Süßwasser verwenden.
■ Das Gerät senkrecht mit dem Schlauchanschluss nach unten anschließen.
■ Minimale Betriebstemperatur +5°C.

Der Bewässerungscomputer darf nur an einer Trinkwasserentnahmestelle mit Sicherungseinrichtung
angeschlossen werden, die mindestens TYP HD nach EN 1717 (Rückfl ussverhinderer mit Rohrbelüftung) entspricht.
► Entsprechende Adapter sind im Fachhandel erhältlich.
HINWEIS
► Das Gerät ist mit einer Überwurfmutter für Wasserhähne mit 33,3 mm-Gewinde (G 1") ausgestat-
tet. Der Adapter
Sollten bei der Verwendung des Adapters
des Wasserhahns mit Tefl on-Dichtungsband umwickelt werden.
♦ Setzen Sie das Sieb 11, wie auf der Ausklappseite dargestellt, in die Überwurfmutter ein.
♦ Für 26,5 mm-Gewinde (G ³⁄₄"): Schrauben Sie den Adapter 12 auf den Wasserhahn.
♦ Schrauben Sie die Überwurfmutter auf das Gewinde des Wasserhahns bzw. des Adapters.
♦ Schrauben Sie das Kupplungsstück 13 auf den Schlauchanschluss 9. An das Kupplungsstück
können Sie dann einen Schlauch anschließen.
♦ Öff nen Sie den Wasserhahn.

Batterie einlegen/wechseln
♦ Entriegeln Sie das Batteriefach 10 und ziehen Sie es nach unten aus dem Gerät heraus.
♦ Legen Sie 2 Batterien Größe AA (LR06 - Mignon) in das Batteriefach 10 ein. Achten Sie dabei auf die
angegebene Polarität.
♦ Schieben Sie das Batteriefach 10 in das Gerät, bis es einrastet.

Allgemeine Hinweise
■ Durch Drücken der Taste M 5 aktivieren Sie den Programmiermodus. Sie können entweder alle

Gerät entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt
unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall
mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Batterien entsorgen
Batterien dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpfl ichtet, Batterien

Information concerning these operating instructions
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have selected a high-quality product. These operating instructions are a constituent of the FBC 7 B2
irrigation computer (hereinafter referred to as the appliance) and gives you important information on the
proper use, safety, the connection and operation of the appliance. The operating instructions must be kept

near to the appliance at all times. These must be read and applied by everyone assigned to operate, and
eliminate faults in, the appliance. Keep these operating instructions in a safe place and pass them on to
any future owner together with the appliance.

Intended use
This appliance is intended ONLY for non-commercial use to control sprinklers and irrigation systems.
The appliance may only be used in outdoor areas. It is not intended for any other use or use beyond that
specifi ed.
Claims of any kind for damage arising as a result of incorrect use will not be accepted. The risk shall be
borne solely by the user.

The appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Improper use may result in personal injury

Basic safety guidelines
■ Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by
persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been
told how to use the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.
Children must not use the appliance as a plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.
■ Prior to use, check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not operate
a appliance that has been damaged or dropped.

■ Repairs to the appliance during the warranty period may only be carried out
by a customer service department authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise
no warranty claims can be considered for subsequent damage.
■ Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts.
Compliance with safety requirements can only be guaranteed if original
replacement parts are used.

■ Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of naked fl ames.
■ Check the appliance and its supply lines at regular intervals for leaks and
fault-free operation.
■ After using the appliance, always close the water outlet (tap).

■ Do not aim the water jet at people or animals!
■ This appliance is not to be used for drinking water!
Handling batteries
WARNING
Danger from improper use!
In order to handle batteries safely, please observe the following safety
instructions:
► Do not throw batteries into a fi re.
► Never short-circuit batteries.
► Do not attempt to recharge batteries.
► Check the condition of the batteries at regular intervals. Leaking battery
acid can cause permanent damage to the appliance. Special caution
should be shown when handling damaged or leaking batteries.
Risk of chemical burns! Wear protective gloves.
► Store batteries in a place that is inaccessible to children. If a battery is
swallowed, seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY.
► Remove the batteries from the appliance if you are not planning to use it
for an extended period.

The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

NOTE
Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible damage.

► If the consignment is incomplete or damaged due to defective packaging or carriage, contact the
Service hotline (see the chapter Service).
Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during carriage. The packaging materials have been
selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the materials cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount
of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in
accordance with applicable local regulations.

Installation location requirements
For the safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the following requirements must be met at the
installation location:
■ The temperature of the water fl owing through it may not exceed 40°C.
■ Use only clean fresh water.

■ Connect the appliance vertically, with the hose connection at the bottom.
■ Minimum operating temperature +5°C.
Connecting the appliance
CAUTION
The irrigation computer may only be connected to a drinking water outlet with a protective appliance
that complies with at least type HD according to EN 1717 (backfl ow preventer with pipe ventilation).
► Suitable adapters are available from specialist shops.
NOTE
► The appliance is equipped with a union nut for water taps with a 33.3 mm thread (G 1").
The adapter
If leaks/leakages occur when using the adapter
thread of the water tap.
♦ Insert the sieve 11 into the union nut as shown on the fold-out page.
♦ For 26.5 mm threads (G ³⁄₄"): Screw the adapter 12 to the water tap.
♦ Screw the union nut onto the thread of the water tap or the adapter.
♦ Screw the connecting piece 13 onto the hose connection 9. A hose can then be connected to the
connecting piece.
♦ Open the water tap.

Inserting/replacing the battery
♦ Unlock the battery compartment 10 and pull it down and out of the appliance.
♦ Insert 2 AA size batteries (LR06/Mignon) in the battery compartment 10. Ensure that the polarities
are correct.
♦ Carefully push the battery compartment 10 into the appliance until it locks into place.

General instructions
■ Activate programming mode by pressing the M button 5. You can either make all the settings one
after the other or switch between the following setting options by pressing the M button 5:
― System time
― Irrigation start time 1
― Irrigation duration 1

― Irrigation interval
― Standby (Programming mode terminated and irrigation programme active).
■ After about 1 minute without any entries being made, the appliance returns to standby mode.
All values that have already been programmed are retained.
■ By briefl y pressing the button 8 you can jump back one step in the programming mode to make
adjustments to the programmed values. By pressing and holding the
programming mode and the values that have already been programmed will be retained.
button 8 you can terminate
Cancel irrigation
♦ Press the 8 button stop irrigation that is already in progress.
Battery charge level
In the event of a low battery charge level, the symbol C fl ashes. All other displays are deactivated.
For as long as the symbol fl ashes, irrigation is not possible. Irrigation that may be in progress will be
terminated.
NOTE
The programming is saved for 120 seconds. If battery replacement takes longer, the appliance

must be reprogrammed.

Troubleshooting
This section contains important information about fault identifi cation and rectifi cation.
Causes of malfunction and fault rectifi cation
The following table will help to identify and rectify minor faults:

battery compartment during cleaning.
■ Clean the housing only with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent.

Cleaning the sieve
♦ Close the water tap.
♦ Allow the appliance to drain.
♦ Unscrew the union nut from the thread of the water tap or the adapter.
♦ Remove the cone-shaped sieve 11 from the water supply in the union nut.

♦ Replace the sieve 11.
♦ Screw the union nut onto the thread of the water tap or the adapter.
♦ Open the water tap.

Disposal of the appliance
Under no circumstances should you dispose of the appliance with the
normal household waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the
European WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive
2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Please
observe the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.
Disposing of the batteries
Do not dispose of the batteries in the household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of used
batteries at a collection point in their town/district or at a retail store. This obligation is intended to ensure
that batteries are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. Dispose of batteries only when
they are fully discharged.

You are provided a 3-year warranty on this appliance, valid from the date of purchase. This appliance
has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact your
Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.
NOTE
The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for damage sustained

during carriage, components subject to wear and tear or damage to fragile components such as
switches or batteries.
This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and interventions which have not been
carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty. The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
eff ected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components.
Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking,
but no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to charge.
