2.1General safety
!WARNING!
•Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
•If this device's power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent safety hazards.
•This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
•This device can be used by children aged 8 years or over, as well as by persons with diminished physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge, providing they are supervised or have been taught how to use the device safely and are aware of the resulting risks.
•Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
•Children must not play with the device.

•Do not store any explosive substances such as spray cans with a flammable propellant in the device.

•Disconnect the device from the power supply

•Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.
ANOTICE!
•Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corresponds to that of the energy supply.
•Only connect the device to a DC plug socket in the vehicle (e. g. cigarette lighter) with the DC cable.
•Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
•Disconnect the cooler and other power consuming devices from the battery before connecting the quick charging device.
•Disconnect the cooler or switch it off when you turn off the engine. Otherwise you may discharge the battery.
•The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or materials containing solvents.
•The cooling device contains inflammable cyclopentane in the insulation. The gases in the insulation material require special disposal procedures. Deliver the device at the end of its life-cycle to an appropriate recycling.
2.2Operating the device safely
!CAUTION!
•Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the plug are dry.

•Do not use electrical devices inside the cooler unless they are recommended by the manufacturer for the purpose.

•Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
•Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other objects so that the air can circulate.
•Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered.
•Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
•Never immerse the device in water.
•Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
3Intended use
The cooler is portable. It can chill products as well as keep them cool or warm.
The device is designed for use with a 12 Vg on-board supply of a car (cigarette lighter), boat or caravan.
!CAUTION! Health hazard!
Please check if the cooling capacity of the device is suitable for storing the food or medicine you wish to cool.

6Technical description
The cooler can chill products to a maximum of 20 °C below the ambient temperature as well as cool or keep them warm up to a maximum of 65 °C.
An integrated battery monitor can be switched on to protect your vehicle battery against excessive discharging.

ANOTICE!
•Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for cooling to the selected temperature.
•Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not excessively refrigerated. Liquids expand when they freeze and can therefore destroy glass containers
INOTE
Before starting your new cooling device for the first time, you should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (please also refer to the chapter “Cleaning and maintenance” on page 11).
Fastening the device on the seat
Pull out the fastening rail on the rear of the device until it clicks (fig. 2 A, page 3).
Place the device on a seat (passenger seat or the middle seat in the back).
Push the device back against the backrest so that the fastening rail is inserted between the seat surface and backrest.
Thread the seat belt into one of the belt holders and fasten the device:
–front belt holder (fig. 2 B or C, page 3)
–bottom belt holder (fig. 2 D, page 3)
INOTE
Press the release button on the bottom of the device to insert the fastening rail.
Switching the device on and off
Plug the 12 V connection cable into the cigarette lighter socket or a 12 V socket in the vehicle.
Push the slide switch into the required position.
The cooler is switched on and starts cooling or heating the interior.
The respective LED lights up.
When you want to switch off the cooler, disconnect the plug.

Using the battery monitor
Switch on the battery monitor if you are operating the device with a 12 V onboard supply.
Switch off the battery monitor if you are operating the device with a mains rectifier (accessory) using an AC power supply.

!WARNING!
Always disconnect the device from the power supply before you clean and service it.
ANOTICE! Risk of damage
•Never clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
•Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these can damage the cooler.
Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the device are free of any dust and dirt, so that heat can be released and the device is not damaged.
9Guarantee
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the instruction manual for the addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when you send in the device:
•A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
•A reason for the claim or description of the fault

•Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steckdose.
•Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der Fahrzeugbatterie ab, bevor Sie ein Schnellladegerät anschließen.
•Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie das Kühlgerät aus, wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst kann die Fahrzeugbatterie entladen werden.
•Das Kühlgerät ist nicht geeignet für den Transport ätzender oder lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe.
•Dieses Kühlgerät enthält in der Isolierung brennbares Zyklopentan. Die Gase im Isolationsmaterial erfordern ein besonderes Entsorgungsverfahren. Führen Sie das Kühlgerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer einer ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung zu.

AACHTUNG!
•Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Kühlgerätes, außer wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür empfohlen werden.
•Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
•Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Kühlgerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder Gegenständen steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt werden.
•Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
•Tauchen Sie das Kühlgerät nie in Wasser.
•Schützen Sie das Kühlgerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.
3Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Kühlbox ist für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet. Sie kann Waren abkühlen sowie kühl oder warm halten.
Das Gerät ist für den Betrieb an einer 12-Vg-Bordnetzsteckdose eines Autos (Zigarettenanzünder), Boots oder Wohnmobils ausgelegt.
!VORSICHT! Gesundheitsgefahr!
Prüfen Sie bitte, ob die Kühlleistung des Gerätes den Anforderungen der Lebensmittel oder Medikamente entspricht, die Sie kühlen wollen.

Die Kühlbox kann Waren bis max. 20 °C unter Umgebungstemperatur abkühlen sowie kühl oder bis max. 65 °C warm halten.
Ein im Gerät integrierter zuschaltbarer Batteriewächter schützt Ihre Fahrzeugbatterie vor zu tiefer Entladung.

AACHTUNG!
•Achten Sie darauf, dass sich nur Gegenstände bzw. Waren in der Kühlbox befinden, die auf die gewählte Temperatur gekühlt werden dürfen.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie Getränke oder Speisen in Glasbehältern nicht zu stark abkühlen. Beim Gefrieren dehnen sich Getränke oder flüssige Speisen aus. Dadurch können die Glasbehälter zerstört werden.
IHINWEIS
Bevor Sie das neue Kühlgerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie es aus hygienischen Gründen innen und außen mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“ auf Seite 20).
Gerät auf dem Sitz befestigen
Ziehen Sie die Befestigungsschiene auf der Rückseite des Geräts heraus, bis sie einrastet (Abb. 2 A, Seite 3).
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Sitz (Beifahrersitz oder mittlerer Sitz hinten).
Schieben Sie das Gerät gegen die Rückenlehne, sodass sich die Befestigungsschiene zwischen Sitzfläche und Rückenlehne schiebt.
Fädeln Sie den Beckengurt in eine der Gurtaufnahmen und schnallen Sie das Gerät an:
–vordere Gurtaufnahme (Abb. 2 B oder C, Seite 3)
–untere Gurtaufnahme (Abb. 2 D, Seite 3)
IHINWEIS
Drücken Sie zum Einschieben der Befestigungsschiene den Entriegelungsknopf auf der Unterseite des Geräts.

Gerät einund ausschalten
Schließen Sie das 12-V-Anschlusskabel an den Zigarettenanzünder oder eine 12-V-Steckdose im Fahrzeug an.
Schieben Sie den Schiebeschalter in die gewünschte Stellung.

Wenn Sie die Kühlbox außer Betrieb nehmen wollen, ziehen Sie den Anschlussstecker heraus.
Batteriewächter verwenden
Schalten Sie den Batteriewächter ein, wenn Sie das Gerät am 12-V-Bordnetz betreiben.
Schalten Sie den Batteriewächter aus, wenn Sie das Gerät mit einem Netzgleichrichter (Zubehör) am Wechselspannungsnetz betreiben.
8Reinigung und Pflege
!WARNUNG!
Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege das Kühlgerät von der Stromversorgung.
AACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
•Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser oder gar im Spülwasser.
•Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel oder harten Gegenstände, da diese das Kühlgerät beschädigen können.
Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem feuchten Tuch.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Beund Entlüftungsöffnungen des Kühlgerätes frei von Staub und Verunreinigungen sind, damit die beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme abgeführt werden kann und das Kühlgerät keinen Schaden nimmt.

•Si le câble de raccordement de l’appareil est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou une personne de qualification similaire, afin d’éviter tout danger.
•Seul un personnel qualifié est habilité à effectuer des réparations sur l’appareil. Toute réparation mal effectuée risque d’entraîner de graves dangers.
•Les enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus ainsi que les personnes ayant des déficiences physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou un manque d'expérience ou de connaissances peuvent utiliser ce produit à condition d'être sous surveillance ou d'avoir reçu des instructions concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil en toute sécurité et de comprendre les dangers qui en résultent.

AAVIS !
•Comparez la tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique avec l’alimentation électrique dont vous disposez.
•Branchez l’appareil uniquement avec le câble de raccordement CC sur une prise CC du véhicule (par ex. un allume-cigare).
•Ne tirez jamais sur le câble de raccordement pour sortir la fiche de la prise.
•Débranchez de la batterie la glacière et les autres consommateurs d’énergie avant de raccorder un chargeur rapide.
•Débranchez ou éteignez la glacière lorsque vous éteignez le moteur. Dans le cas contraire, il se pourrait que la batterie se décharge.
•N’utilisez pas la glacière pour le transport de produits corrosifs ou de solvants.
•Cette glacière contient du cyclopentane inflammable dans son isolation. Les gaz contenus dans le matériau d'isolation exigent une procédure de retraitement particulière. Une fois que vous ne l'utilisez plus, recyclez l'appareil de manière conforme.

2.2Consignes de sécurité concernant le fonctionnement de l’appareil
!ATTENTION !
•Avant de mettre l’appareil en service, assurez-vous que la ligne d’alimentation électrique et la fiche sont sèches.
AAVIS !
•N'utilisez aucun appareil électrique dans la glacière, sauf si ces appareils sont recommandés par le fabricant pour cet usage.
•Ne placez pas l’appareil près de flammes ou d’autres sources de chaleur (chauffage, rayons solaires, réchauds à gaz, etc.).
•Danger de surchauffe !
Veillez toujours à ce que la chaleur produite lors du fonctionnement soit suffisamment dissipée. Veillez à ce que l'appareil se trouve à une distance suffisante des murs ou des objets, de sorte que l'air puisse circuler.
•Assurez-vous que les fentes d’aération ne sont pas recouvertes.
•Ne pas remplir le bac intérieur de substances liquides ou de glace.
•Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau.
•Tenez l’appareil et les câbles à l’abri de la chaleur et de l’humidité.
3Usage conforme
La glacière convient pour une utilisation mobile. Elle réfrigère les denrées ou bien les tient au froid ou au chaud.
L'appareil est conçu pour fonctionner sur une prise de 12 Vg du réseau de bord de votre voiture (allume-cigares), de votre bateau ou de votre camping-car.

Veuillez vérifier si la puissance frigorifique de l'appareil correspond à la température de conservation recommandée pour les aliments ou les médicaments que vous souhaitez refroidir.

6Description technique
La glacière réfrigère les denrées à une température ambiante de de 20 °C (ou moins) inférieure à la température ambiante. La glacière tient les denrées au frais ou au chaud à 65 °C ou moins.
Un protecteur de batterie intégré à l'appareil empêche la batterie de votre véhicule de se décharger excessivement.

AAVIS !
•Veillez à ne déposer dans la glacière que des objets ou des aliments qui peuvent être réfrigérés ou congelés à la température sélectionnée.
•Veillez à ce que les boissons ou aliments placés dans des récipients en verre ne soient pas soumis à des températures trop basses. En gelant, le volume des boissons et aliments liquides augmente. Les récipients en verre risquent alors de se casser.
IREMARQUE
Avant de mettre en service le réfrigérateur neuf, vous devez, pour des raisons d’hygiène, le nettoyer à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur à l’aide d’un tissu humide (voir aussi chapitre « Entretien et nettoyage », page 29).
Fixation de l'appareil sur le siège
Tirez le rail de fixation au dos de l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il s'enclenche (fig. 2 A, page 3).
Placez l'appareil sur un siège (celui du passager ou du milieu à l'arrière).
Poussez l'appareil contre le dossier de manière que le rail de fixation glisse entre l'assise et le dossier.
Passez la ceinture ventrale dans un des logements prévus à cet effet et attachez l'appareil :
–logement avant (fig. 2 B ou C, page 3) ;
–logement inférieur (fig. 2 D, page 3).
IREMARQUE
Appuyez sur le bouton de déverrouillage pour insérer le rail de fixation sur la partie inférieure de l'appareil.

Entretien et nettoyage |
Mise en marche et à l'arrêt de l'appareil
Branchez le câble de raccordement 12 V à l'allume-cigares ou à une prise 12 V dans le véhicule.
Mettez l'interrupteur coulissant dans la position souhaitée.
La glacière est allumée et commence par refroidir ou chauffer le compartiment intérieur.
La LED correspondante est allumée.
Lorsque vous souhaitez mettre l'appareil hors service, débranchez la prise de raccordement.
Utilisation du protecteur de batterie
Mettez le protecteur de batterie en marche si vous exploitez l'appareil sur le réseau de bord de 12 V.
Éteignez le protecteur de batterie si vous exploitez l'appareil avec un redresseur (en accessoire) sur le secteur alternatif.
8Entretien et nettoyage
!AVERTISSEMENT !
Avant toute opération de nettoyage ou d'entretien de l'appareil, veillez à le mettre hors secteur.
AAVIS ! Risque d'endommagement !
•Ne nettoyez jamais la glacière à l’eau courante et ne la plongez pas non plus dans l'eau.
•N'utilisez pour le nettoyage ni produits abrasifs ni objets durs qui pourraient endommager la glacière.
Nettoyez de temps à autre l’appareil à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur avec un chiffon humide.
Assurez-vous que les ouvertures d'aération et de ventilation de l'appareil ne sont pas encombrées de saletés ou de poussières, pour que la chaleur générée par le fonctionnement soit évacuée et que l'appareil ne soit pas endommagé.

Fonctionnement au niveau de Prise 12 V:
Le contact est mis, mais la glacière ne fonctionne pas.
La prise de l'allumecigares est sale. Ceci entraîne un mauvais contact électrique.
Si la fiche de votre glacière devient très chaude lorsqu'elle est branchée dans la prise de l'allume-cigares, c'est que la prise de l'allume-cigares doit être nettoyée ou que la fiche n'est pas bien montée.
