THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT
For questions about this product, or for parts inquiries, please contact our Customer Service Center listed below.
1. Choose a smooth, solid wall to install the
Automatic Stall Waterer onto.
2. The height should be set by either
customer preference or animal shoulder
height or less. (If shorter heights are
desired, simply saw off the bottom of the
Stall Waterer to the desired height).
NOTE: IF THE ELECTRIC HEAT
OPTION IS CHOSEN, USE STEP 3.
FOR NON-HEAT, SKIP TO STEP 4.
3. Electrical Connections should be made
by a Qualified Electrician in accordance
with the local and state codes. We
recommend a G.F.I. circuit on all heated
units and the line should be fused for 15
amps.
NOTE: If Earth Tubes are used, see
proper installation instructions
included with the Earth Tubes.
psi, use a pressure regulator to reduce
the line pressure to below 45 psi. A
qualified plumber can determine your line
pressure and what type of regulator to
use in accordance with local codes.)
Purge the water line before connecting
to the Stall Waterer. Once connected to
the Stall Waterer, check all fittings to be
sure they are tight and that there are no
leaks.
6. The drain line can be positioned to drain
the Stall Waterer into the 4" riser pipe at
the bottom of the waterer.
OR
Drain through the sidewall of the stall
waterer or out through the back side of
the mounting wall by simply drilling a 1"
diameter hole at the desired location and
sticking the drain tube out through this
hole. (Care should be taken so that
animals cannot move or get at drain
tube).
4. The bottom of the Stall Waterer has been
designed to fit tightly over a 4" pvc riser
pipe. Run 3/4" supply line from the
ground into the Earth Tube, into the 4"
riser pipe, and into the stall waterer. The
supply line can also be run up through
the back of the mounting wall. (If the
waterline is brought up from or into a
heated area, then the earth Tubes are
optional. Connect supply line to the valve
hose using a 3/4" hose barb.
5. Use a flexible 3/4" Hi-Pressure water
supply line. We recommend 6 ft. Easy
Hook-Up Kit (Behlen #54130138) or
equivalent. (Note: If your water supply
has an operating pressure higher than 45

Back-to-Back Assembly Instructions
When using stall waterers back-to-back, the supply line must be split and routed to both waterers. The
vertical supply line should be long enough to reach inside the stall waterer. Once inside the stall waterer,
use a 3/4" pvc-T to connect a supply line that runs through the mounting wall to the other stall waterer.
Connect another supply line to the top of the pvc-T, then connect to the valve using a hose barb.
